Mr Slater may try to pass the blame to passengers for all his
personal problems while employed by the Jet Blue. But I
don't agree that entire episode that occurred that day is the
product of passenger misconduct. I'm almost certain that
Mr Slater was under a lot of pychological pressure. He
became burnt from stress, depression and fatigue. Lonely
days and lonely nights don't help the condition either.
He needs to see a good psychiatrist to try to get back to
normalcy. His previous employer should pay for the treatment
and hire him back after he is cleared . He had a nervous
breakdown. It can happeny to anybody and now all the CNN
and other media exposure may hide his "post traumatic
symptoms(PTS). He does seem to be a good person worthy
of another chance to reconstruct his life.

Hello,

Who could start to cellect these $ 10'000 (100×100) for Steven to help him out of this story? I shouldn't be a problem!

To me Steven didn't deserve to loose his job for more than nothing, it's ridiculous. He did not want to become a national hero! JetBlue should reemploy him if Steven wished to go back into air travelling and be proud to show some goodwill.

Slater needs help for his personal problems. I would not like to have him on my aircraft as a passenger leave alone be a attendant. Obviously the screening and profiling process at the airports has flaws to have let Slater be a flight attendant in the first place. How did Slater get on Larry King show? This man needs professional help unless he seeing attention like the balloon boys father or the Tareq and Michaele Salahi's who gate crashed the White House Party to seek fame and attention for there reality TV show. Should we not wander at the idiocy of such people like this who think, going against the law and police department while doing patently illegal things will bring them fame and fortune. Hamper with our security system and safety of the public is unpardonable which ever way you look at it.

Mr. Slater made me laugh. We all get job burn out at one time or another. He just did it with style (LOL).
