Dear Larry:
Are you only looking for men hosts or can women try out as well?
Thank you,

Vernon Pillay   October 19th, 2010 3:55 am ET

I have been watching you since the age of 12(when CNN was just introduced to South Africa).I always dreamt of sitting in your chair interviewing 'you' believe it or not.
I am 30 now ... This is your last season. You are a legend and me interviewing you would be a dream come true.

Jeanne don't worry.. They already have their KING........ OF POP!

Michael, I love you! 🙂

Manideepa Patnaik   October 19th, 2010 11:32 pm ET

Then why don't we put up one more request? Let us all ask any question to Larry we want and let him answer them all in his face book or in an open space. CNN can publish them as a book later in the year. Larry can anwer them now one or two or day, or he can answer then after he retires. He is not just a legend. He is the face of America!

What if an offer came along inviting you to host a campaign that will start in every time zone in the world, broadcast via 77 satellites circling the globe now so you could be put in touch with young people in 109 countries? This campaign will be ongoing and, after the initial 24-hour kickoff, will include monthly WebCasts that will keep the need for Global Humanitarian Relief (GHR) uppermost in the minds of people across the world. This way people will support RELIEF without forgetting countries affected by natural disasters and still needing REAL relief!

Dear Mr. King,

I just signed up to be King for A day. I would love to interview you but, I did not submit a video. I've been living in Berlin, Germany over 24 years, originally from Fremont, Ohio, 11 years Army Gulf war Veteran.

Since being in Europe, I've had the pleasure as an American to see the U.S: from the outside, which I have many question about our policies (Gov.) and mayn other issues for you.

I think you are a great interviewer and I try to watch your show as much as possible.

be blessed,

Mitch Johnson

Larry – I am disappointed! How could you possibly justify only allowing US residents to enter your King For A Day contest when your show has been watched for years all over the world! I have to tell you as your Canadian neighbour I am not impressed. Did it ever occur to you that the best person for this job may not be an American?!?

John Acker   October 21st, 2010 11:57 am ET

Why, with all of the attention given to our economy, have I not heard any concerns about how low interest rates are on savings? Rates on CDs are below inflation rates. What ever happened to the "a penny saved is a penny earned" philosophy of my childhood in the 40s? Our current monitory policies in the US amount to nothing more than thievery. I would like to hear what you have to say on this topic.

rebecca delgadillo   October 21st, 2010 2:51 pm ET

You and Barbara Walters are my favorite interviewers over all. But only picking one contest winner???? Come on, there's a ton of us that would like to interview you. How about selecting a panel of us doing a roundtable of sorts. That would be really exciting!! I will do my best to submit an unforgettable video. Thanks for the opportunity.

Ms. Sheana Brown   October 29th, 2010 12:38 am ET

Mr. King I would first like to start by saying thank you for a most unique, once in a life time, gracious offer. I know the contest is Be A King, but I believe a confident, ambitious, life long fan of yours has had the necessary training to do you proud for at the very least an evening. Thank you so very much. I see this possibility as a solid step in the direction of greatness. Good Luck to all the enter this life changing event. May the best Queen or King be chosen.

Dan   December 1st, 2010 2:50 pm ET

Why do you post the contest on your show last night but yet it is closed?

Achyut Adhikary   December 2nd, 2010 12:40 am ET

Dear Larry,

Thank you very much for providing opportunity to general public to be a
potential Interviewer.

I hope this will led to give a birth to a new Interviewer in the future who
could see this world little different than our usual way as usual way
has failed time to time to understand the world matters.

I did not get chance to log in your contest today but I will try again.
Hoping to meet you in the future.

Take care

Achyut Adhikary
