Wondering if anyone out there knows how to help my uncle..James E Bailey he has never been in trouble other than wrongly accused of this not even a speeding ticket .His daughter accused him in of child molestation in 1991. He passed a poligraph test..No DNA test were done,She had No proof, No records, He had proof with rent receipts they didn't even live where she said, He didn't even own the type of car she described, and he was even out of town on the date she specified..supposedly happened when the girl was 11 she came for at the age of 15..The Judge dropped the case with out predjudice then brought the charges back up with out the dates included..He pleaded innocent.. James E. Bailey is now serving 40- 70 years. He is at the Mount Olive Correctional Center in MT. Olive, WV. He has tried to appeal and the appeal, but the appeals came to the Judge that was the Prosecuting Attorney in his case, and he got denied. He has had his sister, brother and other family members to passaway and not even able to attend their funerals. He is now ill and in the medical part of the Correctional Complex, He told his sister of his COPD, He was told he needed one lung removed and the other is also damaged and the family would have to pay for the removal of this lung , His sister talked to him regularly and stated He is receiving no treatment other than an inhaler, He was in the Honor hall and taken off because he refused to eat due to his illness..If anyone had any Idea of how to help him please email me..Family members have spoken to the Innocents Projects but they need to have DNA and there wasn't any..

An older man was convicted of child molestation and sent to jail
for 15 years. Lucky he had money so that his lawyers and family
kept on looking for more evidence and witnesses. He married
this woman who was a former stripper(nude entertainer). The
relationship soured and she concocted a story that he had sexually
molested her daughter who was 5 or 6 at t/o/c (time of occurrence).
He was convicted because the detective assigned became a
co-assistant to the accuser(to the female) and they entered in a
romantic relationship. The detective denied the affair but there
were witnesses who saw him parked his unmarked car at the
lady's house driveway. Upon further investigation the man was
exonarated and released from jail. She did not go to jail for
perjury and reporting a false crime. The detective was fired
but he too was charged with interference of crime investigation
or malfeasance(misconduct). The man was a successful
businessman and he is affluent(rich). If he had been poor
he probably will still be doing time for a crime he never
committed. He says that when he went to jail the guards
more than the other inmates harassed him and made his
prison time miserable. This is a true story it happened in
Hernando, Fl. in 2008

My son is serving a sentence of three to five years because the attorney he ended up with was incompetent. We hired an attorney and paid $10,000 and he died within a few months of the trial date. We were never informed of his death my son found out from an inmate who read it in the paper. He was determined to bring down the alleged victim because he could see through her story. That is why he chose to go to trial. The charges were on a “He said, she said” case and it is wrong! She wanted Justin out of the picture so she could go back with her ex boyfriend. She did indeed go back with him and within a matter of a ½ hour of the alleged incident they were together. The attorney died and we had no more money so we ended up with an attorney from the firm and he was incompetent. He said maybe two words during the trial, did not put anyone on the stand for the defense, and his closing statement was maybe five minutes. There was no Proof at all, only circumstantial!!! The judge initially said, he did not want to send him to prison but he had to and gave him three to five years. The DA stood up and demanded a longer tail which gave him three to 15 years. We figured it was a longer probation but later found out it his maximum. The attorney said outside the court house that day, no need to worry he’ll be out in two years. Later, after I became frustrated from trying to reach the attorney and never got a call back, I enrolled in college and majoring in criminal justice. I’ve learned so much and how wrong the case was handled. If I knew then what I know now… things would have been entirely different. Of course by the time I learned what we could do and how wrong this case was handled, the one year appeals dealine was over and even though we tried for a post conviction relief, we were denied twice. Out of money and no one would even look at it. There is too much corruption…. There is too much interest in self gain rather than justice! Also… the programs that are required is absurd… you must admit guilt or you will max out on your sentence. That is crazy for those that truly did not do anything. The counselors in the prisons should work with these inmates and help them if they feel they are truly innocent. We have been told over and over again by CO’s and sheriff’s office that my son does not belong there. Please help set my son free… so he can get on with his life. Please tell them to check over these cases that are shouting innocence and leave room in the prisons for those that truly deserve to be there.

I have a family member that has been sitting in a prison for 20 years...wrongfully convicted, there were two (2) other men pointed out by the victim on his death bed and yet they convicted my loved one of this murder. What is really truly appalling is the fact of the matter that a lot of people on his case know that he is innocent and yet he is still sitting in a prison cell...He is fighting his case with the help of others, however it is really upsetting that this man who is innocent is still sitting behind bars. It's ironic how people can sit there and know that someone is innocent and yet because of their position in society they will NOT come forward. This man has truly changed and we believe that justice will prevail in his case...He is a reformed man and he truly wholeheartedly believes that his conviction was for a reason! We believe what is in the DARKNESS will come to light! We also need to reform all prison systems and the Correctional Officers need to realize that they do NOT have to speak to every inmate the same way as some of these inmates are innocent...I would like to know what happen to the motto Innocent until proven guilty!

Barack Obama is his own worst enemy. He is an active, albeit unwitting participant in an intensifying effort to bring down the Obama Presidency. He cannot help himself. Increasingly, since April 11, 2009, a growing number of institutional circles have come to the conclusion that LaRouche was absolutely right in his characterization of Obama as a Nero/Hitler Narcissist, who will destroy the United States, if given the opportunity. Now, as LaRouche reiterated on Friday afternoon in discussions with colleagues, a process is underway, to bring Obama down. Obama is crazy, and he is manifesting his madness more and more frequently, and more and more, the public is being made aware of his madness. Obama is in the process of doing himself in.
Obama has to go, and a growing number of honest patriots have reached that conclusion. The most efficient and elegant way to bring Obama down is to drive him nuts. The "Ulsterman" series of four blog postings to date, have been crafted as well-constructed psywar. They have the advantage of: 1. being true; and 2. coming from circles in and around the White House, who have, themselves, come to conclude that the President has gone mad and has to be safely removed from office. Obama and his wife know better than anyone else, just how accurate the "Ulsterman" accounts are, down to the near fist-fight that Michelle Obama had with Rahm Emanuel, shortly before his departure for Chicago.

Can't get to your blog space. Yeah, 2 brothers and a sister have been in jail. Sister was at Ventura school for girls in the 70s, then alcoholic brother at Arizona, Idaho, and Oregon prisons. 5 kids growing up. 2 blondes were the biggest trouble. None were innocent.

I'm a black Psychiatrist who was also railroaded into prison in the state of indiana(the klan state). It makes no different what class, income level, or educational level;there seems to be a war against the black male in america.

What the hell is Frank Ernest talking about that has nothing to do with the wrongfully convicted?

ralph coffman   October 15th, 2010 10:33 pm ET

has everything to do with everything. obama is about to be "retired" i.e. removed by congress invoking the 25th amendent section 4. and is to be replaced by a truly non-partician president that can hit the ground running. we need to immediatly move to stabilize the world... get ready. i dont think he will last untill the end of the month. ask your elected representitive if they know about this. washington dc is truly abuzz about this. like deepthroat of watergate .he is having a breakdown right in front of the whole country. listen to him yourself in his town house speeches. watch how fast this happens. i know whereupon i speak. been there done that.

We all are saying the same thing. We know there is a major problem and have been for many, many years. We can not just look to the President to help us his plate is already too full. Someone has to be the sacrafical lamb and begin the process. I to have learned much too late. Building more prisons IS NOT the answer. We need an intervention. We need a rich person to help us. If a billionare would be willing to make the financial sacrifice to build a site for all first time offenders young men between the age of 13 and 19 years old as a pilot program that include reading, writing, math, history, etc. back to the basics and no TAS that could be a substitute or in lieu of them going to prison. We could train and redirect their lives with the first mistake. I have more details about the program I have written but have not submitted it because the unfortunate reality is no one is interested. Our prison system makes too much money and employees too many people. So we will continue to cut off our youth at the knees with felony charges before they have a real chance to succeed in life. They can't get jobs, apartments, grants to colleges, set on juries, etc. Can someone reading this please help?

I was acquitted of murder, but found quilty of manslaughter. The Indiana Supreme Court overturned the conviction on 9-15-1995.Once the new prosecutor was voted into office,a manslaughter charge was refiled(the decedent in this case who attacked me at my home was his fraternity brother).I was given an erroneous trial date by the public defender who later assisted the court in compelling to stand trial in prison clothing–against my will!! This public defender was later Disbarred. It took the jury only 5 minutes to reconvict me of manslaughter.I was given 10 extra yr.s at sentencing.A lawyer running for Mayor of Anderson was appointed pauper counsel. On direct appeal he intentionally destroyed the case by raising incorrect issues. The News Article called The "Doctor Van Johnson case", written by Dr.Conrad Worrill of the Chicago Defender Newspaper sums up this case.A man later came forward with an affidavit to the court revealing the plot against my life by the decendent in this case. The Judge in my case merely said "Dr. Johnson, why didn't you just leave town?"
