What does Snoop Dogg intend to do when California legalizes Marijuana this November?

Habtom   March 26th, 2010 9:04 pm ET

Good evening Larry.
It is about the Philadelphia street violence:-
As to my observation, the young people are socialized (In mass) only in their Schools under the supervision of very careful Adminstrators (Vice Principals). They were not exposed to such experience solely.
On contrary, thousands of Americans watch games (foot boal, basket boals, etc.) very peacefully (very amazing)!

A. Smith, Oregon   March 26th, 2010 9:11 pm ET

Does Snoop Dogg foresee Gangster Rap focusing their new songs on the Tea Party and Republican wing-nuts?

Snoop Dogg keeps his cars in the Doggie Diva Cave? I agree with Snoop on his appraisal of old school automobiles, provided the motors are changed out and replaced with much higher power output, better mileage and the electrical system is also gutted out and replaced with new electronic media enabled systems.

Yasha N.   March 26th, 2010 9:16 pm ET

Do you still have a close relationship with Dr. Dre? Any plans on working with him in the near future? Have you helped him on Detox?

Jose Rosado   March 26th, 2010 10:40 pm ET

Larry just gave Snoop Dogg a 1 hour national marketing platform to run another hustle: Snoop clothes, GPS, CD, headphones etc. No questions about his gang affiliations, drug conviction, use of the N -word or his violent lyrics. Snoop made it very clear that he is all about "the flavor that pays me." He sells "keep it real," as he cashes in "mainstream America." Those of us that work with young people in our schools and communities have been busy for almost 20 years on damage control – countering his negative messages and picking up the pieces of young shattered lives. He continues to "sell out" our young people and "mainstream America continues to be an accomplice.

A. Smith, Oregon   March 26th, 2010 11:02 pm ET

Happy EarthHour Larry King and CNN Staffers, (this Sat) – have a great weekend!

Don't know much about him , I guess. Can anyone recommend some of his best songs, or movies that were good?

sam   March 27th, 2010 1:48 am ET

One of Larry's best guests ever. I could see that Larry was enjoying it too. Snoop is a great guy all in all.

Charles Holleran   March 27th, 2010 3:51 am ET

When are you going to come out our way in Phoenix Arizona? The more I see you on TV I see you as a good father and very helpful person. My wife and I have four adopted children, one guardian child, and a 18 year old with a two month old boy. We arn't famous but we always do the best for the kids. Be cool and maybe we might see you out here.

Jeff   March 27th, 2010 3:53 am ET

Snoop Dogg is honest, no nonsense. He tells it like it is. from the heart. Heart, mind, out the mouth- you can't go wrong.

Single Mom of the Ghetto   March 27th, 2010 5:34 am ET

You talk a lot of your mom yet look at the way these women act and how they are portrayed in your videos.Your mom has the mind that raised you. Give some respect. do something for all the moms, the victims of domestic violence, the Ghetto Survivors, etc. The time for respect for women of the Ghetto is overdue. All respect for the people of the Ghetto for finally being put on the map of history but don't forget to put the city of Respect and Honor Woman and Children of the Ghetto on that map to.

Luiz Simoes   March 27th, 2010 8:37 am ET

I was not able to watch your show with Snoop. How I can see it again? I live in Brazil.

Clara   March 27th, 2010 9:32 am ET

Snopp Dogg on Larry King-the purpose of the interveiw was pointless-hood talk!!!! yawn!!!

Aramis   March 27th, 2010 10:31 am ET

Good morning
I think Sarah Palin is a beauty queen and a great entertainner thats about it. Its easy to critize the president about everything he does. Enough Sarah stop the criticism and tell the country what can you do better. McCain should retire, two is enough, three strikes you are out.
As for Joe (not the plumber) don't jump training.

Thank you

James   March 27th, 2010 7:31 pm ET

Why weren't Larry and Snoop Dog wearing seatbelts on national TV?

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:05 pm ET

Snoop your a Bill Cosby of modern times .

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:09 pm ET

Actually Snoop you have a little Richared Prior and a little Eddy Murphy great combo .

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:11 pm ET

Dude you need to make some more movies we people love you Snoop .

Jeff   March 27th, 2010 9:13 pm ET

I cannot believe you would have someone like this on your show. With kids committing more and more crimes everyday you choose to have such a negative role model on your show. Snoop dog or whatever his real name is glorifies "gangster life" and advocates drug use. You have reached a new low Mr King... =(

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:24 pm ET

For real Snoop I loved Soal Plane make a sequel .

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

Get your foot ball team on a movie Snoop .

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:28 pm ET

Panted Ponies just like spinning wheels .

Alan   March 27th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

You ask whether we like Snoop Dogg better as rapper, actor or football coach. How can you like someone who comes on an interview show and does not take off his sunglasses. It shows dis-respect for the interviewer and the audience. Ven if it is part of his image – he owes some respect to the public.

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

Your back in black Snoop Dog you go Cat Go .

vanessa   March 27th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

I love snoop dog and his down to earth. keep up what ur doing.

Dee   March 27th, 2010 9:31 pm ET

I have loved Snoop Dog ever since I saw him on "Monk".
That is one of my very favorite episodes 🙂

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

The people want free wrights to there choice of drugs just like the free choice of booz .

Just Wondering   March 27th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

Love me some Snoop as a middle-aged white woman, but I disagree about legalizing marijuana. Have you ever tried teaching a teenager who is high, Snoop?? Have you honestly considered those implications?? Because I see it on occasion, and it's brutal. Trying to teach students who are high on weed is just impossible, and it's really sad. While I'd rather students do weed rather than prescription drugs or worse – it's a nightmare. Just wondering Snoop – so legalize marijuana for all, or have some age limits??

Amie Burke   March 27th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

To answer your blog question: I like Snoop best as the person he is. He's beautiful being himself - thats what makes Snoop so fabulous. Keep on shining Dogg –

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:46 pm ET

Snoop Dogs got the munchies on the Laerry King show now thats far out .

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:48 pm ET

We need to vote for Snoop Dog to be president at least we could all die happy .

Ashley Campbell   March 27th, 2010 9:51 pm ET

I love you Snoop! I hope you come back to Maine soon! LEGALIZE MARIJAUNA!!!!

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 9:53 pm ET

Snoop your an American juewl .

michael armstrong sr.   March 27th, 2010 10:00 pm ET

Snoop was a treat Larry .

Terry   March 27th, 2010 10:00 pm ET

The language that Snoop dog speaks is carney language I am 48 yrs old and my Grandfather taught it to me when I was about 10 yrs old. Yzes Izi Spzeak izt.

Kathy Schlitz   March 27th, 2010 10:51 pm ET

Snoop is an entertainer. That is why the public knows him. He does not have a responsibilty to the public to be anything but an entertainer. However, I respect him immensly for choosing to show to the public his role as a father, and the importance he places on his family. While he never claims to be perfect, nor a role model, he shows us that the act he puts on as an entertainer is just that, an act. So thank you Snoop for entertaining the hell out of us, and also seeming like kind of a nice guy.

billy bunwich   March 28th, 2010 12:08 am ET

hey snoop, man when you comming to canada we love you.

Becky   March 28th, 2010 12:54 am ET

I think Snoop is a great Dad!

jack   March 28th, 2010 3:11 am ET

Can anyone tell me his best songs or greatest movies? Sounds like he must be very entertaining, from all the praise he gets. I have not been in a cave , just have not happened to hear his songs or see his movies except in snatches here and there. If he has accomplished so much and is a great father and so talented in many areas , the herb doesn't seem to have hurt him at all. So, perhaps he is right in wanting to end the counter productive prohibition.

wynona   March 28th, 2010 3:22 am ET

I think Snoop is wonderful as all three, he wants what's best for the youth and strives to help them. He spits the truth and people needs to listen. Keep up the good work SNOOP I REALLY LOVE U.......

Gary   March 28th, 2010 3:34 am ET

You are a cool dude. But your music knowledge is a bit off. Earth, Wind & Fire....did not sing "Spinning Wheel". That was just so wrong and to sing it that poorly, wow. Think back..... Blood, Sweat & Tears.

John   March 28th, 2010 3:39 am ET

The car is a Canadian built Pontiac Parisienne – pronounced Paris-ee-enn – with two "n"s to stretch the "n" sound. The last "e" is silent.
It is not pronounced "Paris-ee-n-ee". The Parisienne was the top-of-the-line Pontiac in Canada back in the day. Snoop and the car are cool, though. Tx

Ms.Dowell   March 28th, 2010 3:45 am ET

I like Snoop best as..... being Snoop!! He's very talented and you have to love him for always keepin in real !

What does SNOOP DoGG think about Simon in American Idol?

Todd forsman   March 28th, 2010 5:44 am ET

Larry asked Snoop about musical influences..Snoop referred to a few lastly.."Earth WIND and Fire" then Larry started singing "Spinning Wheel"..Which Is a Blood Sweat and Tears song!! LOL!! AND Snoop sang along and did not correct him!!....LAME!!!

steve kimani   March 28th, 2010 5:45 am ET

I like snoop dogg as a Rapper, keeping it real!

Donald L Allen   March 28th, 2010 11:31 am ET

Donald L Allen here Larry I care but I well not give you the right to edit my stuff the art or the scrip I not On Larry to just make sum one right so you no and I no you or not o n Larry King just to make me rich and if your not in to the each so Maybe you don,t want me on it OK if you don't I understand it I,M not a free show or you PS Larry I like you But you no what I mean scare

Rhipley   March 28th, 2010 3:29 pm ET

How in the hell can you associate yourself with a character like "snoop dog" The guy is a pervert, associated with violence porn and drugs....
Christ its bad enough you have him on your show and he talks politics. Who in this world would ever "care: what he had to say about anything. This clown has little if any to offer the public in terms of social contribution except the worst of human failings.
You dissappoint me Mr King. Tho your show has begun to falter your desperation is becoming apparent.

Sparkle   March 28th, 2010 10:21 pm ET

Umm, I don't like Mr. Snoop as a rapper, actor or football coach. I don't care how much of an entertainer he is or how successful he is. The man is a pervert. It's disgusting that he was in the Girls Gone Wild videos.

Jamie   March 29th, 2010 3:10 pm ET

This man a role model...are you kidding me???

pat davis   April 1st, 2010 12:07 am ET

Daniel.....@ 9:50. I noticed to that Snoop only mentioned the white winners of American Idol. He also mentioned Jennifer Hudson who wasn't a winner on the show. It seemed to me that Snoop doesn't really watch the show like that. I think he was acting as if he watches the show and really doesn't. Any American Idol watcher knows that the first winner and one of the most successful is Kelly Clarkson, you've got Carie Underwood and Chris Daugherty (former contestant). I think Snoop was caught off guard by that question. I mean, he's talking about doing something with Susan Boyle!

Tim Heavrin   August 7th, 2010 2:28 pm ET

Watched Larry King Live last night about life in a prison. Someone on that show made the comment that any CO can be bought at any price. I take issue w/that one. I'm a CO w/the Az Dept of Corrections. And let me tell you, that I can attest that the majority of us ADc staff CANNOT BE BOUGHT AT ANY PRICE!!! The majority of us are professional law enforcement officers doing a very hard & often thankless job that only a very few can do. When we do our job, noone knows it. It's when we don't & slip up that escapes like what happened in Kingman, AZ last weekend happens. There are some "dirty" cops, but you'll find that everywhere you go, not just in a prison setting. So I take issue w/that schmuck who made that snide comment about Co's being able to be bought @ any price. That's pure baloney! Pure & rancid!

America's Pentagon and Shadow Government is warning American's to not visit the Wikileaks website under the direct threat that you could be charged with a national security crime.

Wasn't it several weeks ago that the Pentagon and ex-CIA agents told the world there was nothing new on Wikileaks?

Oh, Wikileaks has wrapped up a load of documents together and encrypted them under the title of 'Insurance', daring the Pentagon and America's Shadow Government to mess with them.

It seems Wikileaks has gotten even more interesting now with a very distinct push back by Wikileaks against The Pentagon and America's Shadow Government which seldom get's the door slammed in their faces after threatening, blackmail and attempts to extort the other party have been routinely made.

It is entirely likely the newly included US State Dept. cables contain evidence of War Crimes against former Vice President Dick Cheney with his involvement with the Pakistani ISI agency and the Taliban fighters.

As reams of US, Afghanistan and Pakistan Military documents posted and exposed on Wikileaks now aptly show, when the need to know information is not being shared to the American public and soldiers that are being killed because of not being informed of that information, Brave Men and Women are going to come forward and release that information thru Wikileaks or some other independent agency to the world and Save Lives as a direct result. American and NATO soldiers lives have already been saved because of the Wikileaks information posted.

Wikileaks is challenging the most powerful and secretive government in history just to give Americans the opportunity to question the decisions they have forced on all Americans and NATO members. That's the kind of freedom all Americans should interested in. That is the very point of the Freedom of Speech and it appears it is also the very reason the US Military Complex and Shadow Government are so afraid of them.

Smith in Oregon   August 7th, 2010 7:12 pm ET

For years it has been historically well documented that code breakers in Washington DC. KNEW that an attack on Pearl Harbor was going to take place a full day before the very day it occurred. The code breakers also knew that Japan was going to declare War on America, again they new the very day Japan was going to declare War on America the day before Japan had planned to do that.

The REASON why that information wasn't transfered immediately by Radio to the forces in Pearl Harbor have been crassly placed on 'atmospheric propagations were poor' and point to the 'swamp gas, weather balloon' solution of sending a standard telegram to Honolulu stating the above information which allegedly arrived and was delivered AFTER the attack on Pearl Harbor had already begun. US Military Radar operators in Hawaii that spotted the enormous wave of incoming Japanese Zero's some 200 miles out were told to ignore those sightings.

It entirely appears that the many sailors that died in Pearl Harbor were merely sacrificed, the US Military Complex knew the attack was going to occur and LET THAT HAPPEN. There was nothing preventing the US Military from immediately relaying that critical information via Radio to Pearl Harbor. The slow to arrive telegram, the Radar Operators told to ignore the obvious danger, simply extensions of the cover-up.

Will we see his duet with Susan Boyle in a music video& have it on MTV&VH1 if they do make a music video of their duet?

mark bollok   August 7th, 2010 9:10 pm ET

personally, snoop is definetly better as a rapper, at least from what i know. i havent seen him in his movie – malice in wonderland. i think itll be dope though. he always has a different but familiar sound in his music. his features were always fresh, and this new album, malice?, gonna be extraordinary

chuck marchese   August 7th, 2010 9:10 pm ET

I'm not a big fan of hip hop but I am able to enjoy snoop and tupac and some of the more "old school" rappers. I like melody! I like snoop more as a person than any of the other titles he is very deserving of. He speaks to the inner me in me.

Comrade Snowball   August 7th, 2010 9:11 pm ET

yo. snoop! I LOVE your "Oh Sooki" video..

probably need to do one for jersey shore next... ooo snooki? naa.. too easy.

ps. loved your MILF cameo on Weeds.

Christina   August 7th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

Larry, I love watching your show, but please don't co-sign Gangster stuff. Our teens need role models like Oprah, or someone that helps our community, not drug and sex influencing scum. Just my opinion.

Barima Kwaku Osei Kwakye   August 7th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

Ghana is waiting for a Snoop Tour.. When is that going to happen.

yo larry im lovin the snoop dog show.

Fristella Cornelius   August 7th, 2010 10:15 pm ET

I admire Snoop Dogg as a youth football coach, father, and volunteer in the community. There are many children in our City of Columbia, South Carolina with the Pop Warner League is based unable to participate because of lack of funds and unemployment. We need sponsors to keep these children out of the streets and in a supervised sport, football. He is a great person to volunteer because people don't have the time to contribute. They have to work, unable to enjoy their children in a program that promotes academics and athletics. Great job Snoop!:)

steve   August 7th, 2010 10:17 pm ET

I just caught the end of this episode. I love the interaction between Snoop and Larry. Such a great dynamic, I think they're the best odd couple; funnier than Regis and Kelly. If by some magic they co-hosted, it would be a show I would not miss!

Joel   August 8th, 2010 12:33 am ET

What is Snoop Dogg's GPS download link?
Great Show!!!

Hunter   August 8th, 2010 12:46 am ET

Great guest, Larry. I like Snoop because he seems so real. He is so relaxed and doesn't seem like he is on T.V. When is the new album coming out?

Pacsha P.   August 8th, 2010 5:09 am ET

Snoop dogg is a legend in his own right he earned it. Keep it tight, very proud and respect you very much for sticking with your family. You are showing young men how to be a man. Big ups to you my brother!

Geraldene   August 8th, 2010 5:21 am ET

Love Snoop Dog. Why does he have to hide behind sunglasses when he is supposedly being so open with Larry? It is quite disconcertaining watching someone trying to be honest about himself and then you cannot see his eyes!!

Mike   August 8th, 2010 5:47 am ET

Snoop why did they cancelled your tour in the netherlands ??

Michele   August 8th, 2010 11:04 am ET

Snoop is great at what ever he puts his mind to. I most admire him for being a real man.

prince   August 8th, 2010 5:28 pm ET

1) NFL? relevance. Does that mean all the others serving that did not have an NFL contract do not matter?

2) How many people have died? How many military service people have died? Why did this make the headlines other than his poster pretty face?
