Wow, how great, Bill was able to speak elegantly about welcoming a son-in-law something he has denied to 1000s of families but signing DOMA. What a jerk!

I heard this affair referred to as "America's Royal Wedding" Seems appropriate as it was a union of the bride (daughter of the man responsible for the losing of many American jobs through NAFTA) with the groom (working for the bank that responsible for the losing of many American homes) A real Marie Antoinette moment!

People, don't be a bunch of jack@sses. Man, if you people ever get married, I hope other people talk about you in the same way. It was a wedding, need everything be political? I'm sure in your lifetime you never made a mistake...and I surely hope you people don't keep reminding you of the same mistake over and over to the world.

Perhaps those of you who made the Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm remarks don't understand that after Clinton entacted NAFTA, U.S. jobs left the country, or don't believe that Goldman Sachs misappropriated taxpayers' bailout monies.

Best wishes for the bride and the groom. The reporter sitting in for Larry said there was not material to do the show. So what did she do? Talk about the Monica thing. The panel had more sense and respect. Even the Bush person said that the money that was spent on the wedding was a private matter. The Bushes most have spent a few millions on their little princess and good for them as well.
Congratulations to the parents of the bride. I can wait to see more pictures. After all, she was the first daughter and we care about her and her parents.

Congratulations to the happy couple. Chelsea looks just lovely and has grown into quite a young lady. Her Mum and Dad look very proud.

I wonderful. She was glowing. What proud parents. They raised her right. So wonderful to see.

All I can saw is WOW! What a beautiful family wedding-the Clintons deserved this for their daughter.

Chelsea was entitled to her "big day" and is not responsible for her father's actions – HOWEVER the adoration for Bill Clinton needs to be addressed – reality check time:

– 1993 Clinton bombed Baghdad in retaliation for an alleged but unproven Iraq plot to assassinate former (elder) Pres Bush. Iraqi civilians were killed or wounded in the raid. This unilateral action in response to an unproven charge was a violation of international law.

– 1998 Clinton bombed Afghanistan and Sudan. Many civilians were killed in Afghanistan (and by the missiles that accidentally landed in Pakistan). The pharmaceutical factory destroyed in the Sudan was the major source of medical drugs in that poor country.

– Clinton supported Turkey in its war against its indigenous Kurd population.

– He escalated his aid to Colombia. In both these countries the civilian casualties from counter-insurgency warfare and death squad operations during the Clinton years exceeded the pre-NATO bombing deaths in Kosovo substantially.

– Clinton's tightening of the embargo on Cuba which banned the sale of US food and curtailed access to water treatment chemicals and medicines. The American Association of World Health 1997 reported the food sale ban "has contributed to serious nutritional deficits, particularly among pregnant women, leading to an increase in low birth-weight babies".

– Clinton's sanctions on Iraq: UNICEF reports that in 1999 over 1 million Iraqi children under 5 suffered from chronic malnutrition and 4,000-5,000 children died per month, beyond normal death rates, from the combination of malnutrition and disease.

I wonder if Bill Clinton had "a dry eye" for the deaths of all of these children caused by his policies.
