Recently LeBron James was our guest on LKL.  During our trip down to Akron, we had the pleasure of interviewing LeBron's high school coach, Dru Joyce.  His unique insights are worth another look in the wake of LeBron's decision to play for Miami.

I like to watch the NBA finals, and think LeBron is a great basketball player, but I really don't care where LeBron James goes. I'll make a little wager, he'll go where the big money is.

At 12:01a.m. today Lebron James became a free agent. Where will he go? To whomever offers him 10 figures, I hope.

Lebron will go to the team that will offer him a chance to win a few CHAMPIONSHIPS and will pay him and his teammates. Understand right know no NBA wants to be considered the GREATEST with out no rings... Lebron wants to be compared to the likes of Wilt, Micheal and Kobe...

As Lebron James crowed like a rooster at sunrise proclaiming not 1,2,3,4,5,6 national titles meaning 6+ for him and his new team mates, Pat Reily did the only sane thing in the entire sports newscasting room, Pat buried his head in his hands and appeared to be thinking, what have I gotten myself into, James is a loony toon.

For a man that hasn't won a single national title, Lebron James certainly was pushing the PR and tooting his own horn loudly. And all to often, America knows full well that comes before a large train wreck occurs.

Talent laden? Yes the Miami Heat NOW has three extremely gifted and talented basketball stars, however the rigors of a full schedule has placed many stars on the surgical injury list.

Knees and ankles are entirely open season for opposing players that know full well if any of these three players is surgically sidelined for any duration of time, the Miami Heat becomes just another professional basketball team composed of players that couldn't become national champions.
