'We did not see you close your eyes,
Or hear your last faint sigh,
We only heard that you were gone,
Too late to say good-bye.
There is a bridge of memories,
From here to Heaven above,
That keeps you very close to us,
It’s called the bridge of love.
A thousand prayers can’t bring you back,
We know because we’ve tried,
And neither will a million tears,
We know because we’ve cried.
To us you were so special,
What more is there to say,
Except to wish with all our hearts,
That you were here today."

Michael, thank you for sharing your God-given talent and for giving us a lifetime of your heart, you will never be forgotten.

A heavy laden soul, now at peace and safe in the arms of Jesus.

Love Lives Forever   June 23rd, 2010 6:05 pm ET

If you need me, call and I will come,
Though you cannot see or touch me,
I will be near and if you listen with your heart,
You will hear all my love around you soft and clear.

Smith in Oregon   June 23rd, 2010 6:50 pm ET

It's kind of sad that the people that bought onto the triade and PR spin that Pensacola, Florida was their ideal vacation location this summer with its oil free pristine beaches. Only to find out it was simply a sham to lure tourists to the hard hit tourist State of Florida only to be hard hit by the Oil pouring onto it's beaches, the toxic fumes in the air, in their hotel rooms and all the dead sea-life floating in the Ocean and washing up on the shorelines.

Lori - Justice for Michael   June 23rd, 2010 6:52 pm ET

I am still trying to wrap my mind around the concept of an interview from the steps of the Holly Terrace....it just seems a bit...I don't know, I guess I don't have words for it. Watching the clips made me a bit uneasy. Anyway, I guess I have a more old fashioned idea about what activities are appropriate for a cemetary.

Rest in peace, Michael...though it seems that is easier said than done *sigh*

I hope Katherine sends Michael's children to school so they can be around other children and make friends. I wish those three children much happiness...all children deserve happiness, and money will not be the catalyst...love, laughter and friendship will bring them joy!! Michael yearned for friendship while growing up on stage...I think Katherine will give his children all that he missed out on. Love to Katherine and MJ3.

Blessings Jermaine. We miss Michael – I find myself getting caught up on the hoax videos and wanting it to be true that Michael is still alive...I know it sounds crazy and I'm a "normal" person, but I so wish it would be true. Blessings to you and your family. Wow, one thing for sure is there are so many haters out there...I read the blogs and people are so hateful – outsiders and former insiders of your family. All in all, Michael – we just can't stop loving you....God Bless.

babycarie   June 23rd, 2010 9:10 pm ET

A bit exploitative??? That is the word that comes to mind...and it is not very comforting seeing this interview being conducted on the steps of a sacred place. IMO...

babycarie   June 23rd, 2010 9:15 pm ET

Mirror
We ALL wish he were still alive but the truth is he died one year ago this Friday...if we could only turn back time...to a brighter day...
Rest in peace sweet Michael.

CuriousCat   June 23rd, 2010 10:07 pm ET

I agree, very poor choice for this interview, but Jermaine most certainly could have objected, anyway we'll see what else Jermaine has to say on Friday. Jermaine always telling a different story ???

The only thing I believe from this clip is when he said "MICHAEL WOULD NEVER TAKE HIS OWN LIFE"

MJ I believe in you, I will be there

This is it!   June 23rd, 2010 10:14 pm ET

A lonely desperate walk,
along a bittersweet path,
A saddened anguished soul,
a lonesome journey of wrath,
The glorious precious man,
in the mirror he shines,
A reflection to the world,
extremly tortured by time,
A soul filled with loving purity,
with suffering eye's so bare,
A giving hand to always give,
for the forgotten and despair

Bless You Always Michael

babycarie   June 23rd, 2010 10:30 pm ET

Wow you can sure tell June 25th is very near. All the worms are creeping out of the soil from books to the NY disgusting post article to Ian jerk and as Jermaine put it all those idiots.
And of course they shall continue. I'm glad Jermaine included Klein in the idiot category.
People should be thankful for even being able to say the Name Michael Jackson.
Thank ful for the person he was, Thankful to him. Michael united the world beyond limits, he had no boundries. Michael broke barriers and opened many doors. He was a teacher, a visionary, a genuis. But most of all he was a daddy.
Michaels message was clear. LOVE, believe in yourself, for he believed in us. Be the best that you can be and most of all Look in the mirror and make that change to make this a better place.
How people could not hear and feel all that Michael was telling us, is beyond any reasonable thinking I could ever have.
Michael united us with all of his love, he gave us every ounce of himself. It truely is up to us now to make that change, It starts right here right now with ourselves. ..
I miss you Michael with all my heart. You were my inspiration from childhood on. You were the greatest teacher I ever had.
I will continue to keep your dream alive of Healng this world and saving it for our children.
Love you more Michael, You will always be in my heart. <3 <3

Billie Hill   June 23rd, 2010 11:52 pm ET

Michael Jackson

I lone for what I lost
A childhood
Nothing should be hard work all the time
The Gift that I have is from God,
Mine
He does not take anything back
If only my earthly father could have embraced that

In spite of the hurt, anguish and pain
I pushed through
To claim my fame
I gave my gift
So my gift just grew
I trust that my toil
Sprouted gracious seeds inside of you

In planning my “Big Come Back”
I realized I never left
But maybe I just forgot to take care of myself
To heed my own muffled cries for help

Did I run, did I hide
To protect my pristine soul inside,
I did
Yet still
The scars came out that I hid
Do not judge me by that,
Please, My Soul begs of you not

Instead, use my gift to see what you got
I know that it is good, eternal and kind
Let my music lift up your mind
Know that my Love is yours regardless of time

@ Carie

oh carie, I did not realize there was a new blog so I left a reply on the other one. you asked if I have seen tom's tribture, and I have to say I have not. I will search for it tomorrow. it should be interesting. I also wanted to let you know that I sent an email to DN and let's hope she answers this time. she has not been answering any of my emails lately. wish you could come over to susan's blog. don't you have an email yet?

I heard about the graveside interview that Jermain has in mind. I think it's very desrespectful. because we can't go to the grave he wants to bring it to us! what good will come out of that. I really hope he does not do that. as I said on susan't blog, I think it's because he wants to be in the spotlight, so every now wand then, he comes up with an idea! I am very disappointed with him for not being able to prepare a tribute for micheal's anniversary. and if he says one more time that they made michael what he was, I will track him down and ............ you know!

Lori - Justice for Michael   June 24th, 2010 2:14 am ET

@Adrienne...so good to see you back on the bloggy. It has been a long time. I agree with you, I hope that it turns out to be a positive interview. Seems like so many things Jermaine touches do not turn out well.

I remember blogging all night here after one of Jermaine's interviews with Larry. We all were able to grieve, but yet enjoy each other as well. LOL I wonder where Nicole is...

Why are you doing this to us Jermaine? You know Michael is nowhere near forest lawn. We need closure, its been almost a year now and we need to hear what really happened. We love Michael unconditionally and we will continue to love and support him no matter what.

Connie Collins   June 24th, 2010 6:03 am ET

Michael I miss you and love & ( loved) you and always will. RIP God be with you. I wish I could be at Forest Lawn but I can't. I hope the fans that are there are respectful to Michael's memory. Always love you Michael.

babycarie   June 24th, 2010 7:14 am ET

Elly
Jermaine is and always will be for Jermaine...his children living off Katherine's allowance which ultimately means living off Michael is testament to who and what Jermaine is. Michael made the Jackson 5...Jermaine should finally admit this truth. He has been exploited MIchael since his death, yet really knows nothing about his children except for the 'they are all playing and having fun' same old same old....he did not even know if the MJ3 had seen TII. And this interview at Forest Lawn...Randy is not happy as he tweeted so, and he is disgusted with family trying to do everything and yet did nothing. Funny how everyone points to the media as exploiting Michael's death, yet Jermaine here on LKL, LaToya on Animal Planet...who's exploiting?? 'Word to the Bad' always comes to mind...

Astrid fan from Belgium   June 24th, 2010 7:28 am ET

I never forget Michael Jackson he is the King of Pop and from the World ! To the Family from Michael i want to say bring Michael home where he belong ....Neverland the place wher he was Happy and save ! To Katherine i want to say take good care of Michael 's childeren and to your self because they need you so the only person thay can't trust is you !

Love Lives Forever:
Excellent and very touching poem. Thank you for sharing with us.

Hi Babycarie:
I agree with your 7:14 a.m. post.

From reading the comments above, I share in everyone's opinions regarding CNN LKL's decision to film an interview at a cemetery. IMO, that was very disrespectful not only to Michael but to every person placed there and their families. I saw the photo's of CNN's large trucks, the crew at work, the stage being set up. Who goes to a cemetery to have their make-up touched up to look good for the camera? The mourners at the cemetery wiping their tears overhearing "lights, camera, action". This was sad for the peace was removed from the cemetery during that time period. Such disrespectful shame.

"Pixie Dust "   June 24th, 2010 12:35 pm ET

Susan62509,I understand your comment you made at 11:57 am.But what will tomorrow bring.thousands of fans flocking to the cemetery bringing flowers, paying their respects. To me this is will become a nightmare for FL.With this interview, I am sure it was easy to control, with very little disturbances.Hopefully Michael's fans will tune in to Jermaine's interview with Larry tomorrow evening instead of flocking to FL, as I am sure not too many are gonna even get that close.I would like to think that Jermaine's words would be more appreciated to hear than, fans trampling over one another trying to be the one to get close enough to place flowers at Michael's tomb.(Smiles) to you

gülderen   June 24th, 2010 12:54 pm ET

we just want to know the truth..I trust in Jermaine...He is a honest man..He always tell the truth.I'm suffering....

pat davis   June 24th, 2010 1:21 pm ET

@ babycarie....Hi Carie! I hope you and " baby carie " are doing well 🙂 .

I just wanted to comment on the family exploiting Michael's death. I don't consider everything the family does as exploiting Michael. Maybe these are some of the steps they are taking in coping with Micahel's death. I've always said that I think the family is feeling a tremendous amount of guilt for not being there for Michael in the last years of his life. If they were there he probably would not have been surrounded by so many evil people that didn't care about his well being. It seems after the trial the family went their seperate ways. That is when Michael probably needed them the most and I'm sure they realize that now.

I saw the show on Bubbles and I didn't think of it as exploiting Michael. It was very informative and gave a greater insight on Michael's love and relationship with animals ..., especially his own ... especially Bubbles. Tomorrow night there is a special titled "Michael Jackson: A Mother's Story". I don't know what this one is all about but is Katherine exploiting Michael too? So far everything I've seen on Michael (this week) has shown him in a positive light. They start with his career as a child and take us through his journey to superstardom. Of course they touch on the controversy that he endured but that's not their main focus. I must say I've been pleasantly surprised. Now there are some shows about Michael that I refuse to watch, like Ian Haleprin's. I know my words probably didn't change the way you feel and those were not my intentions. No matter what we feel people want to hear about Michael Jackson. I'm waiting for the day when they talk more about his humanitary works. That's the part of Michael's life they're overlooking....his generosity.

Candy°°   June 24th, 2010 1:57 pm ET

is that scene indeed at forest lawn? quite strange, even if we talk about larry ... can it be a studio ??!?

anyways, Jermaine dear, pretty short memory hmm???
you don't know if the kids saw the movie ... well, as far as I remember they did see it in a private setup before the actual premiere ...

things are getting foggy, foggy , foggy ...

pat davis   June 24th, 2010 2:08 pm ET

Lori,
I remember blogging all night here after one of Jermaine's interviews with Larry. We all were able to grieve, but yet enjoy each other as well.
___________________________________________________

Hi Lori! I remember those times. There were nights I was up till 4/5 a.m. blogging! I loved it! You are so right, we grieved and we enjoyed each other. I have some great memories at such a devestating time. There were SO many of us. As for Nicole....???....

CuriousCat   June 24th, 2010 2:08 pm ET

Last night I watched "the secret lives of MJ's children"

It was very respectful and so lovely what was being said about the kids. Everyone agreed that this is one of Michael's greatest accomplishments, the kids are intelligent, extremely mature and oh so talented.

Couldn't help but wonder where they got the photos ??????

Had to have been provided by MJ or family members, as Michael said in an interview with Geraldo -- "soon, very soon I will introduce the world to my children"

All according to plan I think, MJ YOU ROCK !!!

"Pixie Dust "   June 24th, 2010 2:33 pm ET

CuriousCat,thanks for sharing that with us,I never got to watch it but it sure is nice to hear that it was respectful, thanks CuriousCat (smiles) to you.

babycarie   June 24th, 2010 2:47 pm ET

Susan
Agreed...poor choice and bad taste in exploitation!! And that hug at the front door...ugh!!
Geraldo stated that three of Michael's brothers (?) are being paid $10,000/month...for?????

Susan62509   June 24th, 2010 2:52 pm ET

Hi Pixie Dust:
I really appreciated your comment at 12:35 p.m. From what I understand FL will keep the fans in one location and they will not be allowed to get near the masoleum. I'm hopeful they will be very low keyed and talk softly offering respect to every person put to rest in the cemetery. TMZ is going to live stream at FL. Also, 20/20 will have a program on MJ. Karen Faye who worked for MJ for 30 years will be on. Some fans don't care for her, others do. Isn't it wonderful that the networks who only provide positive information are finally acknowledging MJ for the person he truly was.

Hi Pat Davis:
I watched Animal Planet with Bubbles. It was done in very good taste and also reflected positive towards Michael. Katherine and the lady that filmed Katherine's interview, MJ: A Mother's Story were paid by the network to air the piece. If my son passed away and I wanted to tell the world about him and especially clear up the past abuse acquisations, that the ignorant close their eyes and ears to, I would do it for free. If the network told me to jump in a lake or stand on my head during the interview, I would do that just to have the opportunity to share the love of my son internationally and learn about the numerous things he did and stood for that the media never printed. As True-To-You always says......Love is Free.

CuriousCat   June 24th, 2010 2:53 pm ET

Pixie Dust – smiles back to you

I'm sure this show will be repeated, I will see if I can find out when.

So many shows will be aired this weekend, radio stations playing MJ's music all weekend.

I do think the world is starting to realize the truth about Michael, finally, but there is still more to do and we are all part of it.

Candy°°   June 24th, 2010 3:10 pm ET

TII on many TV Channels these days ... for those who missed the real message, take the chance and watch it !

babycarie   June 24th, 2010 5:13 pm ET

Susan
Is it ethical for Murray to be taking cash 'donations' from his patients? That sounds very shady...but everything does when it comes to that man!!

Purple Haze   June 24th, 2010 5:17 pm ET

All action takes place, so to speak, in a kind of twilight, which like a fog or moonlight, often tends to make things seem grotesque and larger than they really are.

pat davis   June 24th, 2010 5:42 pm ET

Hi Susan!

I agree, Love is Free. Unfortunately money rules. It is sad that Michael's mother has accepted money for this tv special. I'm not surprised to hear that the brothers are getting paid, but I am a little shocked to hear the same of Mrs. Jackson. Personally as a mother I would still be upset with the tabloids, reporters and journal tv. They are the ones who made a career of destroying Michael. I wouldn't give them the time of day. At the same time, who am I to judge another persons motives or reasons for their actions. I don't know....it's a nightmare that seems like it's never going to end....

Lori - Justice for Michael   June 24th, 2010 6:10 pm ET

I don't suppose it is "unethical" for Murray to recieve a cash "gift" from any source, as long as it is characterized as a gift. I do not believe that Child Support Enforcement is obligated to investigate the source of the payments. Which also makes me wonder, how did TMZ come by this information.... and da da da... Just who is the "Shady Money Man"? (AEG, Tohme? Santa?) I cannot believe all the characters that are involved in all of these reports. The IRS may be interested if the funds could be deemed "income", that might be a different story. Maybe we need an opinion from an accountant.

Curious Cat- How do you think we will all be a part of what is happening?

sada   June 25th, 2010 12:36 am ET

I agree with the comments about the location for the interview being distasteful.

what I found interesting was jermaine not having any clue about the alleged "interventions" claimed by the family, most recent being janet. it's as though an intervention was news to him. he quickly got out of it by stating he was out of the country and not there.

katherine has also stated in her Brit interview that she did not know about MJ and the drugs, so obviously she wasn't in on the "interventions" either.

nice try janet!

CuriousCat   June 25th, 2010 12:51 am ET

Marguerite – don't know the answer to your question exactly, just a feeling ****

Michael said "he can't do it by himself" – so who else then ?

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   June 25th, 2010 3:38 am ET

@Michael

I will never forget that day I got to see you performing live on stage at your HISTORY WORLD TOUR CONCERT in Auckland back in November 1996. I was waiting with my young daughter outside the gates listening, as all the tickets were sold out. But towards the end of your show, we managed to get in through the gates and were able to see you singing the last few songs. We could hardly believe it and that will stay with us forever.

I can tell you, I have come to appreciate that HISTORY album of your songs more and more and the significance of it. Everytime I hear those songs I can picture you on that stage back then.

Even back then, you came across as a very down-to-earth person, not at all like the BIG STAR that your life became.

May you find peace whereever you are. God bless you. Will be there and keep the faith.

babycarie   June 25th, 2010 7:37 am ET

It is just so hard to believe it has been one year past...one year ago that Michael was ready for his comeback tour...one year ago when he smiled and said he was ready to 'take it from here'...one year ago that he struggled finding sleep...one year ago that Michael died due to the arrogance and negligence and greed of Murray. Murray should have said no, and any credible doctor Michael went to should have denied him. And the family should have literally dragged Michael to get help...but time cannot turn back, and here we are...remembering what we were doing one year ago today.

Michael loved life...Michael loved his children...Michael loved being on stage. Michael needed to rid himself of the demons within, but the enablers surrounding him supported the evil, took advantage of it, fed off it.

If I have learned anything from all this it is that Michael Jackson was a very fragile human being who was struggling to get his life back...the life that was stolen from him by Chandler and by that devil Sneddon. I have also learned that money is extremely toxic and evil, people will do anything for money, and money is what ultimately killed Michael.

Maria Copelli   June 25th, 2010 8:18 am ET

This is tearful day ,for us all ,and I can honestly say from my heart ,this year has reinforced my Love ,respect ,and admiration ,for this wonderful 'misunderstood' man .Let the truth unfurl...is my fervent prayer . Love Maria C.

babycarie   June 25th, 2010 9:13 am ET

Michael died one year ago today at the hands of Comrad Murray.
Michael needed help but enablers surrounding him saw nothing but a bright light of money.
We have the truth.
It has been suggested that all 'research' and 'clues' be sent to the FBI, DA, LAPD...and the bogus autopsy thoughts should be directed to the LA coroners office.

Most here know that Michael died one year ago today and his death deserves respect.
Rest in peace sweet Michael.
Dance with God and smile.

Susan62509   June 25th, 2010 10:08 am ET

Good morning Babycarie:
One year ago today the world lost our beloved Michael Jackson. Michael is with the angels now, protected and guarded, no longer surrounded by evil people.

Carie, you asked me the question below, that I would like to give my opinion.

Is it ethical for Murray to be taking cash 'donations' from his patients? That sounds very shady...but everything does when it comes to that man!!

Since the majority of his patients in Texas are medicaid and medicare patients, I don't know how much extra cash they can afford to part with. Yesterday the Vegas newspaper said CM's attorneys will appear before the judge to finalize the negotiations that took place yesterday. The attorneys said they would remain silent to the media until after the hearing today. We may find out more today regarding the dollar amounts negotiated. I have a feeling that perhaps that video company that is following CM around to make a documentary when all these CM cases are finalized, may have fronted CM some money against the video taping. If any money came from AEG, AEG would have to make sure the money could never be traced back to them. I'm curious to find out if CM paid cash to the court for his arrears. That in itself could be a possible clue. Yes, CM can obtain donations, but he has to clarify them as donations when filing his annual taxes. I believe the IRS has set up a maximum dollar amount anyone can receive before they have to register as a charity with the IRS.

Go to CNN's homepage when you get a chance and read the article with Chernoff. If you don't want your day ruined, please don't read it. It made me vomit.

I love you Michael Jackson, you are forever and always in my heart.

Those who complains about the family really need to settle down. Now if they wasnt talking about Michael you would all be complaining about that too. So it will be a problem in your eyes regardless. Today is not the day to show hatred, today is the to remember MICHAEL.

Eviana   June 25th, 2010 11:17 am ET

Hope now, one year after your death, you have been able to find peace and freedom....

We will always remember you...ALWAYS....You are the one and only one King of Pop MICHAEL JACKSON.....

Always in our mind and in our heart.....

There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world, it’s the beginning of a new life.

John A. Schultz   June 25th, 2010 11:34 am ET

Does everyone forget we are remembering a pedophile? I understand the music contribution but really have a hard time separating that from the allegations. Don't forget that he paid off a couple of families in the area of $20 million. If I were innocent, I would not be paying out $20 million except to a charity. Someone should have 'clued' him in on the way society would view it. His advisers ought to be in jail. The parents of the kids ought to be in jail as well. After the first incident, he should have stayed away from young kids but he did not. We'll never know for sure but where's there's smoke, there's fire.

Camilla   June 25th, 2010 11:38 am ET

It's been a year since you're gone Mike, but it seems like only yesterday. I still cry at night thinking of you, wishing I could know how have you been and where have you been this long time. I can still close my eyes and see you smiling. I still can see you in everything I do though it hurts so bad.
I wish I could go to Forest Lawn to bring you some sunflowers, but as you know I can't, I put some sunflowers in a church for you instead. And the time I was there kind of early today, I prayed for you and asked God and all the saints to protect you, guide you and light up your way to your new journey. And I really hope they'll answer my prayers.

I miss you each day Michael... and I love you MORE....a lot more than you could ever imagine. =(

Michael, thank you for a wonderful journey. You are the best. You have brought together people from all over the world in your honor. No other person can say they have accomplished such an act of love as you. There will never be enough words to express the gratitude due to you for everything you have done for this planet, for the children and for your fans.
No matter where the journey leads, I am thankful to have been a part of it. Thankful for the wonderful friends I have made along the way, the bonds we have made came from the love you sent our way. You exemplify goodness, compassion, and love in all you do. Even though I am sure you have had your moments of anger, depression, sadness, you have always composed yourself to show us how to love each other in-spite of the hate, the anger, the devastation. You challenge us to be better, to make a change, to see the world needs us to heal it and ourselves. Today Michael, I do not celebrate the passing of the entertainer, rather the awakening of the world. This day does not change my own personal beliefs. For many, they see it as a day of pain. I know you want to wrap your arms around us all, to comfort those with falling tears. Bless you Michael for all you have done, and all you continue to do.

nina1fox   June 25th, 2010 12:07 pm ET

As a tear drop gently falls on the floor
All that I want to share for ever more

My admiration for all who love
The man who is resting above

Writhing from pain and feeling
In visions of someday healing

Though the tides of time wash ashore
Removing deep pain we once bore

The winds of acceptance is our place
And a smile gently becomes our face

The angels above are in abound
For the man they now surround

With Love for All........

RIP Michael

Michael was and will ever be the heart of his fans. Now that the heart is at rest, his fans have been left heartless for a year. The M.J as we knew him no longer exist on this realm. He lives on in eternity far from us, but yet so close in memory.

Let's put aside the ugly and feel and see the beauty of the Man in the Mirror. I am not here to cast judgments on whodunnit....l am here to remember a brilliant, unselfish, loving, caring, beautiful father, son, brother, uncle, friend, man, visionary who brought so much love to this planet. There are so many words and yet not enough to describe what he has done for many, many people. Through his music, his unwavering love for his family and fans, he has given us his message and may we continue to spread his message to all corners of the world.

He is missed and loved by many people from various walks of life. His legacy will live forever and he will continue to be a force in this world like no other.

Our journey has only just begun ....

I will never forget what he gave to the world with his music and all the wonderful things he did out of the goodness of his beautiful heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to Prince, Paris and Blanket as well as the rest of the family. He will live forever in my heart. I love you, Michael.

i am going to paint a rainbow of love in the sky
its a love that will not question why
its love so true so fierce so strong
it just believes in my heart you belong
its a love that will give you freedom to choose
the kind of love that nothing can move
it will shine so bright it will take you there
its an unconditional love with you i will share
you will feel this love night and day
its a magical love that will never stray
a rainbow of love every colour you see
it comes with a smile from the heart of me
it will dry up your tears soothe all your pain
it will chase away sadness again and again
when you are weary and cannot go on
the rainbow of love will make you feel strong
just where is this love where did it start
its not an illusion it comes from my heart
from what i understand and i know this is true
no matter what happens it belongs to you
sometimes love means saying goodbye
but an unconditional love will never die
it will be there forever just for you
touching the heart and soul this is true
and if you get lonely just believe that i care
just look for the rainbow and the love will be there

i believe i will be there its all for love love is free

Rebeka Davis - Recife - Brasil   June 25th, 2010 1:56 pm ET

Today I am overdosed on Michael, as he does me good, for me today is a day to celebrate Michael's life, I made my prayers and ask God to be with Michael wherever he is.
I am part of a group of fans of Michael here from Brazil, and we already had planned to hold a tribute to Michael today in cities across Brazil, I was responsible for the tribute are here in Recife, but my son Diego was sick and I will not be able to go the meeting, but is recorded here, now Michael's life will be celebrated in BRAZIL

Michael,
I L.O.V.E YOU SO MUCH

God bless you and your family

I WILL BE THERE

Maria Copelli   June 25th, 2010 3:36 pm ET

John Schultz, @11;22 a.m. I am too emotional ,to not respond ,to your comment.I wanted to ignore it ,but my heart woulnt let me ,overlook more hate ,and more LIES ,toward Michael...Please know that these things are not and never were true!
Maybe you will do some reading and find out ,if you care to who Michael is .And you will clearly see ,he is NONE ,of the awful things ,people reported him to be!
Pleasae let Michael ,have this day ,let his family have more days of non hatred ,and lies. And above all let his fans who Love him,and support him, have this day .
The formula is simple,LO.V.E. one another ,as you too would want to be Loved . maria c.

Yes, I do remember, I was at work when I heard he had had a heart attack, i thought they (the doctors) would make everything ok, then my son called and gave me the news. This past year i think i could write a book about him. i dont think the world really realises what we lost when Micheal passed. My unconditional love and support to you and your family.

my condolences to Michaels family on the anniversary of his passing.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS ALREADY BEEN A YEAR THAT MJ HAS BEEN GONE AND HE WILL BE MISSED DEARLY AND AS FAR AS THE DOCTOR IS CONCERNED HE IS THE 1 WHO KILLED OUR MICHAEL AND HE NEEDS TO PAY FOR IT. HE IS NOTHING BUT A KILLER AND HE NEEDS TO LOOSE HIS LICENSE AND GO TO PRISON AND NEVER GET OUT. TO THE JACKSON FAMILY MY PRAYERS R WITH ALL OF U.

tamicacobb   June 25th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

I was at home when I got the news that michael jackson had passed away. at first, I didn't belive it but, when I saw that the news was confirmed I dropped to my knees in shock.Michael was an amazing entertainer, dancer, singer , songwriter I loved listening to his music growing up and i just fell in love with him he touched my hear and soul
Michael meant the world to me because I was inspired by him.R.I.P mj
You are forever the King.

kenni   June 25th, 2010 9:59 pm ET

the way that i feel about micheal is deep. i know that micheal was not ready to go. micheal's music was slowed down by people who don't know what love realy is. i see micheals love and it's amazing. if we had more people like micheal the world would be a better place. my regreat is that "we as a people were not able to understand and appreciate the man he was." people go through pain and troubles. But why wer'nt we there for him. I feel that we let him down. But maybe in his death we can make his dream come true. And make this world more joyful and peaceful. If we can love micheal this much, then maybe we can love each other.. Micheal Jackson is an inervator. Look to mankind and lets love each other.

B.Ayang Bakabaka   June 25th, 2010 10:03 pm ET

I was just going to bed for it was about 10pm Cameroon time if my memory is good enough.A very ambiguous news item on BBC came announcincing at first that an unkown man collapsed in M.Jackson's house and was being rushed to the hospital and that people suspect it was M.Jackson.Some 30 minutes latter it was comfirmed that he was the one and had died.I was shocked and the following morning, the whole of Cameroon was filled with the disgusting news.
No one hypothesis was given as the true cause of his death.
All the same,MICHAEL JACKSON can only be replaced by himself. He remains THE ONLY MICHAEL JACKSON to ever have lived on planet earth..God bless you king M.J.We will meet some day. That is the way of every man.

Renee   June 25th, 2010 10:10 pm ET

My tribute(s) to Michael and his talented and generous nature started 17+ yrs ago. When I found out I was pregnant I thought for sure my child would be a boy and would be named Michael after Michael Jackson. I ended up with a girl and so I went with the fem. form which is Michelle. Today I went and got my first tattoo. Something I had been considering for years, wanting something real personal, family related. Following Michael's passing I had followed all the different ways people were paying tribute. Tattoos were one of the ways people were paying tribute to this wonderful, talented, misunderstood human being. A year later I made the decision to get something special done. I waited a year for two reasons. The first was to be sure I wasn't getting something done on impulse. Secondly, I wanted to do it on the anniversary of Michael's passing. As it was with many other people, Michael had a major influence in my life. A very positive influence. The most impact was made in 1988 and so the tattoo I had done today includes that particular year. I shall wear it proudly and with deep respect and fondness for my friend Michael Joseph Jackson.

Carl O. Harris   June 25th, 2010 10:21 pm ET

WOW, it's sad but I remember when I heard he passed., I thought it was a plastic surgery gone bad! NOT a quick fix for insomnia? is there any help for Insomniacs? Has the Jackson Family help fund a find for this HORRIFIC THING that took OUR BELOVED MJ? Or are they gonna point fingers at who they wanna sue? WAIT THEY COULD GET MORE MONEY FROM A LAWSUIT rather than a Non-profit Organisation!! GO JACKSON FAMILY!!! we miss u MJ!! too bad your family wasn't watching out for you!!

Maura   June 25th, 2010 10:30 pm ET

@John A. Schultz
Please find the truth, the real truth. What you say are distortions from a media that refuses to report the truth. Please find out about the big heart Michael has

Carl O. Harris   June 25th, 2010 10:33 pm ET

PLEASE HELP!! The MJ Insomnial Foundation is looking for your help; you can send your checks payable to; "Joe Jackson" insomnia isn't going to be an inexpensive find!! God Bless!!

I was at work when MJ died.. I remember my elder brothers asking my mum to buy them nothing else but black pants, with the side stripes that looked exactly like MJ's..Mj's dead is a nightmare to me.. I can not forget it , really feel the pains and can not stop crying.. I imagine how the family feels..I know he is dead, but I just hope the truth is revealed... Thank You MJ...

Pam Doyon   June 26th, 2010 1:45 am ET

Michael was a gift from God and will forever live on in our hearts and in his music for years to come. God bless the Jackson family and know that you are all in my prayers.

shandell jackson   June 26th, 2010 4:32 am ET

When I heard of Michaels death I was just getting in my car heading home from a doctors appointment. I couldnt believe what I was hearing.I hope that his family finds relief and justice will be served on the death of their son/ brother/father/uncle.Its so hard to think that he isnt here anymore. I cant believe it.I guess God takes the good ones away cuz he needs them some where else.He knows Michael was good here and must need him there for something or someone very important. Its sad doing so other must have to hurt. Only God knows why he is needed in heaven. He was here to do what God intented for him to do.I am a mother of 2 girls agaes 14 and 11. I am sorry for his kids loss.As a parent and knowing how kids take things like this harder my heart goes all out to his kids.I know my kids worry all the time of losing me even more now since they have heard this happen and he was taken from his kids its hard to tell your children not to worry. Cuz at anytime God takes you when he is ready which makes it hard to tell your children not to worry. I am a single mother myself and face that I have to under go a major sugery from a imblysimn and its hard to comfort kids when you know if a good person doing right can be taken then anybody else like a person thats just a normal person in a everyday world can be taken.I know that this is one thing for certain is that Michael is and always will be missed and if something ever happens to me I hope to meet him in the next place!!!!

Yolande Mengue   June 26th, 2010 5:23 am ET

The death of MJ is a wound that will remain wide open in our heart. As time goes by, it seems that it was an assassination planned by some highly authorities in Santa Barbara, the ones who humiliated him when they broke into his house.
We are waiting for justice, no matter how long it is going to take. If needs be, all the fans that we are could underatke an action all over the world. So, please, do stop fooling us trying to protect Dr Conrad Murray.

Zita Baranyi   June 26th, 2010 7:00 am ET

Oh, my God how you are not a year of his between us already. When I heard it last year punctually a year of his I did not believe it at this time. I was surprised for so much incredible one so much was disappearing... I ran here to the computer immediately and was looking for a wikipediara and the news was true really. Michael Jackson is dead.
Lasted until weeks to catch I save my appetite though then and I was crying only all day long and I listened to Michael's musics. If I and I do not have the friends and the mother I would be a psihologic now.

Katie from Brazil   June 26th, 2010 2:56 pm ET

It is just so hard to believe it has been one year past
Thanks Larry and Cnn for the tribute to MJ.
I glad Jermaine did the interview for his brother, and clarify the NY disgusting post article written by Ian Jerk also including Klein the same catergory.
Michael united the world beyond limits, he had no boundries. Michael broke barriers and opened many doors. He was a teacher, a visionary, a genuis. But most of all he was a great Dad.
I miss you Michael with all my heart. You were my inspiration from childhood on. You were the greatest teacher I ever had.
I will continue to keep your dream alive of Healng this world and saving it for our children.
~ I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JACKSON~YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY HEART~

maryln48   June 26th, 2010 5:47 pm ET

I also wonder about Jermaine, if he would have been closer to his brother and not just worried about himself maybe Michael would be here or maybe he would have left them something. Instead their kids are living in that house so that means these guys are not supporting their kids, Michael is.
He seems very selfish and probably looking for a way to profit from this like his father. I hate to see what happens when Catherine dies, they will all be in court trying to get custody so they can keep getting supported. It is just sad. All the brothers had their chance to make something of their lives when they were young, that is probably why he didn't leave them anything.

There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind. But keep in mind that letting go isn’t the end of the world, it’s the beginning of a new life.

Like what you have written here. All your quotes are beautiful btw. Yes, it is difficult to let go of Michael. He was on that world-stage for so long. Yes, I hope he has found peace and freedom he needs. Will never let go of his hand.

Larry: Why were the doctor or doctors who first introduced Michael Jackon to use Propofol as a sleep inducer never brought to trial? It appears that the only doctor being hung is Dr. Murray when Dr. Murray was not the doctor who introduced Michael Jackson to that drug which was used outside of the hospital setting. I strongly believe his dermatologist was more deeply involved in getting Propofol for Micheal Jackson than he is admitting, but as usual our broken Justice system will not investigate him, since they already have the black man they want to hang. As usual the white man always gets to walk free. Nothing has changed in America.

On June 25, 2009
I turned on TV to watch Larry King Live.
I saw your image, your date of birth
People at Neverland in tears to burst.

What’s going on? Why is that chaos?
I was too stormy to make all aware of.
After all … , when I realized … ,
Neither dead was I nor alive.

On June 25, 2009
“They” made you a victim of their evil crime
Could the Angel have never known
that satans are masters to disguise?

On June 25, 2009
The world lost the icon, the world lost the giant
You are The Statue To The Music World
But we were deaf to hear your calls.

You called us to love and live in loyalty
The King of Pop refused the royalty
Cared about the children abandomed
Having donated for all those in poverty.

You were so innocent, your heart was good-natured
As once you sang: “It’s a human nature”.
How could the child ever sing love
having whip traces on his own heart?

On June 25, 2009
“They” made you a victim of their evil crime
The footage “they” filmed is nothing but fraud
This is a smoking gun, this proof is strong.

Are “they” the ones who are to blame?
No …, “there” are so many now trying to fade
“They” may presume “they” are to escape
But the Last Judgement will be there.

All the year I cried and I cried
Listened to your songs and tried to survive
The tune of “Smile” is always in my mind,
May be I’ll find the life worthwhile.

Now it’s June 25, 2010
Your fans are there for your anniversary day
We shall weep your songs and weep your dances
Let the World know that The King of Pop is Thee.

I LOVE YOU MJ.

I have never seen Germaine Jackson before. However, nothing special.
