Its time for BP CEO Tony Hayward to go.. Enough said. Mike in Montana

Ted   June 18th, 2010 11:24 am ET

Mr Hayward refused to answer the simplest question.
Can he be charged with contempt of the congress and locked up so he can refresh his memory?
We donĀ“t need BP, other american oil companies can take over their operations.

All That You Are And Were Mr. Otis Winfree
By your son James Winfree Sr,
Dear Daddy, I am so missing you!!!

My Love, you have this power over me, this indescribable, undeniable, unmistakable power. You consume my mind. You invade my thoughts. You are the ruler of my dream world. You bring a smile to my face, a sparkle to my eyes, and a tear to my cheek.

Your voice is like a lion, I am hearing for the first time in my hearts mind. You take my breath away, with the simplest things you did for us. You make me feel weightless, as though I could float up, and touch the heavens above. You make me look at life through new eyes, eyes that have never seen the light of day, until now. I feel as though I am using all my senses, for the first time, and suddenly everything I once knew, is now unfamiliar to me. You fill every cell in my being, with joy, love and happiness. You make me want to stand up, and scream at the top of my lungs, "I love you, more than words could say." You make my heart soar, like a bird in flight. But most of all... you are your blood is in me daddy, and I love that.

It is this intense power you have over me, which gives me strength, hope, and new meaning. You are my sun, my moon, my evening star, my light, my life, my love. You are my destiny because I am one of your seeds. You are "The One", the only one, the man I love. As I write this poem for you, I find the words come naturally to me. It's as if this keys on my keyboard is an extension of my heart, and my heart is guiding it across the Internet. Every letter, every word, every stroke, is meant to be ... as we are. daddy I will see you in the morning with sweet tears of joy in my eyes and I'm proud too be one of your sons and thanks for telling me you believed in me.

Love always...Daddy I made a promise too you and I am going to keep it...I will fight on...I will not give up... I won't quit!!!

Apostle James Winfree Sr,

It's amazing to me how Republicans scream bloody murder about how the Democrats just SPEND SPEND SPEND, then when there is a disater like this they have the gall to say the Obama administration isn't doing (spending) enough! I'm all for the government swooping in and taking control of the clean-up away from BP, but C'MON GOP, you can't have it both ways! Besides, this disater was caused by a large multi-billion dollar corporation and that corporation should be financially responsible for cleaning up their mess!

A Borak Obama in a current political snap shot:

Illegal Immigrants equal loss of jobs.
Gulf oil spill equals loss of jobs.

Illegal immigrants should be held unaccountable for their actions.
Gulf oil spill BP Executives should be held accountable for their actions.

And Borak Obama is a Constitutional Law Professor.
Is GPA or class standing to the imagination of his supporters.

There's the investigation to come also. Will that shed some light I wonder.

Why didn't they accept the help that was offered from around the world at the beginning of this disaster.

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   June 18th, 2010 10:48 pm ET

The CEOs always usually initially take the wrap or take the flak. It is how they handle it, and it looks like the BP CEO didn't handle it too well.

Maybe he was advised not to say too much until an investigation.

If these companies have been making billions, I think it was only right for President Obama to go after their money for compensation.

If only they could have spent the money in the first place to prevent these types of things from happening, instead of after the fact.

Christie   June 18th, 2010 11:09 pm ET

@Jessie from Auckland, NZ
For some reason President Obama has not been willing to waive the Jones Act which is the main reason help from elsewhere was not accepted.

Although Republican Congressman Joe Barton (Texas) stated he was speaking for himself and later apologized for his extremely rude and jealous remark towards President Obama, viewers of the ongoing hearing noticed the entire rank and file of the Republican lawmakers gathered and in the audience were nodding their heads with distinct approval.

All Joe Barton stated was that which ALL Republican lawmakers were muttering when President Obama convinced BP to put up 20 Billion dollars rather than have the American Taxpayers pay that.

Republican lawmakers switchboards were deluged by American's angry and fed up with the Republican lawmakers and today it appears The Republican Lawmakers struck back against all Americans living on Main Street, USA as they read phone books to their fellow US Senators in filibustering a group of urgently needed spending bills rather than allowing them to be voted on.

One of the bills would impose a increase in the liability costs for Crude Oil spills by Big Oil corporations. All of the Republican lawmakers including Joe (bomb bomb Iran) Lieberman voted against raising the liability costs the federal Govt. can hold against Big Oil, go figure!

Thank you for your comment. Yes, quite strange. It could be because all the red tape involved, I wonder. There must be something behind it. More to it than meets the eye, I think.
