The question for Kathy Griffin is.

Ted   June 13th, 2010 10:22 am ET

Israeli foreign minister Ayalon was interviewed on CNN and made repeatedly the following statement:
We will not appologize for the attack on SS Marmara and killing the nine persons who had contact to the palestinian terrorists, they must appologize!

If arrogance can be rated this must be a AAA+ example!!
The victims, who were attacked and killed on international waters in the middle of night by masked and heavily armed israeli commandos, are the guilty ones and their families should ask Israel for forgiveness.
Besides, noone had contact to any terrorist group, helping the victims of the Gaza blocade certainly do not count as an terrorist act.

Ted   June 13th, 2010 10:30 am ET

People are all excited about Kathy Griffin!
I find her to be a loud mouth, vulgare person without any class.
She kept interupting her own mother and Larry and one can see she has a very high opinion of herself.
Kathy, that doesn´t count, what other people think is important!

Why is BP doing everything else but what will work for that oil coming out of the well?

I have already given the idea on about how to stop that mess. This is embarrassing for the United States.
The idea is to use weight to stop the leak. Just a cap will not work.
the pressure and the amount of oil coming out of the well is too great to stop with just a cap or garbage.

This is very important please pay attention.
This is how it will work: a heavy duty chain with a few weights attached to one end of it – will go into the hole to about 300 feet this is stop any metal balls from passing from above. The
other end will have a big anker attached to it dropped on the ocean floor. you need thousands of
metal balls sizes of golf balls and smaller to slow down the flow.200 feet. To
complete the plug pour cement in the hole 100 feet. That's it.
I had that idea from the beginning of this tragedy. But I had to wait
to see if someone else would come up with a better idea.
I am asking $12,000,000.00 after tax paid by BP for this idea . I am
doing this for the wildlife, the environment and for the president of
the United States Mr. Borack Obama.
If this idea is used successfully and I don't get paid for it I will be
very engry!!!
thank you!

Hi Larry,
Hi folks.
I agree. She gets too much air time.

Well folks some good news. Americans played well against Britain in the world cup. Dempsey did a good job.It should instill some confidence in out team. But we have to win the next two matches.Good luck to our boys.
On another note , by far the most important as it concerns safety of our brave boys & girls fighting in Iraq & Afghanistan & risking their lives on a daily basis.

Benjamin Netanyahu has appointed a retired judge of his choosing to head a kangaroo commission to investigate the savage terror attack on freedom Flotilla on May 31. It has already been established that Israel is using doctored evidence to throw off any impartial inquiry into the that crime & is not in favor of an international probe into the act of terrorism.
It is important to note that any stance which our establishment or politicians take which backs this savage crime which outraged the world, is going to affect our operations in Iraq & Afghanistan.
I fact our success in that region may well depend on how we deal with the rogue regime in Israel. This is increasingly being felt by Jews in America & Israel.
Listen to what the Retd Israeli naval & Shin Bet commander Ami Ayalon has to say about this misdeed committed by Israel or the award winning author Sheldon Richman, editor of 'The Freeman', or Uri Avnery, Naom Chomsky & thousands of Jewish-Americans & peace loving Jews in Israel

Smith in Oregon   June 13th, 2010 8:06 pm ET

Multiple news agency's are reporting now on the bombshell that was dropped by a team of English investigative reporters that independently interviewed multiple Taliban commanders in establishing their very creditable top down report of the Pakistani CIA agency ISI which works closely with America's CIA as working directly with the Taliban at the highest levels in the supreme meetings, strategy, battle tactics and funding!

America's Republican lawmakers have given BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars to the Pakistani ISI agency, AND it directly appears a great deal of that money went directly to the Taliban that are killing American soldiers in Afghanistan!

For years I have stated that the Pakistani ISI agency which was created as a clone of America's CIA in direct cooperation between the CIA and Pakistan during the 1980's Afghanistan war against Russia, had trained and funded the Taliban THEN and NOW. This creditable report released and published on multiple news agency's outline how deep that 'cooperation' is and how far the incredible corruption between America's CIA and Pakistani's ISI agency's is.

YES, it appears a great deal of the American taxpayer dollars directly given to Pakistan's ISI went directly to the same Taliban who are killing American and NATO soldiers in Afghanistan!!!

This goes far beyond just limited, or occasional support, this is very significant levels of support being provided by the ISI. The report also stated this is official policy of the ISI agency, and stated that it is very extensive. It is both at an operational level, and at a strategic level, right at the senior leadership of the Taliban movement!!!

Mr Waldman the final reports author, himself spoke independently to nine different Taliban field commanders in Afghanistan earlier this year. Pakistan appears to be playing a double-game of astonishing magnitude," the report says.

This report, one of many that strongly questions America's friendship with the Pakistani ISI as a direct slap across the faces of the greatest American ally in that entire region, INDIA. Both Pakistan and India are vying for influence and power in Afghanistan and the current war in Afghanistan could be viewed as a Proxy War between Pakistan and India.

I fail to see nor understand why Washington and the US State Dept. would directly support Pakistan and the Pakistani ISI after the Mumbai, India massacre clearly indicated the ISI involvement, the ISI protection of those that planned and trained those terrorists and the horrific Indian civilian carnage those Pakistani terrorists reeked upon the Indian people.

Some alleged that ISI agents had even attended meetings of the Taliban's top leadership council, the so-called Quetta shura. They claim that by backing the insurgents Pakistan's security service is trying to undermine Indian influence in Afghanistan.

Congrats to the US footballers for giving the England team a run for their moneyin the World Cup.
I was one of those who shouted myself hoarse for the US.

JamesB   June 13th, 2010 9:57 pm ET

@Smith in Oregon,
For someone who hates Republicans, you certainly like to credit them with everything. How can they rule the world when they represent only about 22% of Americans? It seems to be a very sad, sick obsession with you.

IKHAN   June 13th, 2010 10:13 pm ET

Hi Larry,

@Smith from Oregon.
Reports also suggest that India is also involved heavily in arming & funding the Talibans to maintain & increase their influence in that region & to make sure that American do not annex that strategically vital territory. Historically Afghan regimes have been pro-India.
It was during the invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union that Ge.Zia the then military dictator in Pakistan with the collaboration & on the behest of American policy makers & CIA, created the Jehadis (now Taliban) to fight the Soviets. From that time some elements in ISI have been perceived to be pro-Taliban.

John H   June 13th, 2010 10:29 pm ET

@JamesB...Thank you James. I have to confess to having a sick habit of reading through these comments day after day and wondering where some of these people come from. There are six or seven here who in my opinion are certifiable. They are often off subject and come up with some of the most unbelieveable suggestions and allegations imaginable. Oh, but don't critcize or challenge them or you'll have your head handed to you. Most times I resist the temptation to call them out but on some occasions, it is impossible to resist. I know, if I don't like reading their comments I should stop reading them and keep my mouth shut. Typical advice you will receive from them. They seem to thrive on one another and take heart from the support they receive assuring them that they are right and anyone questioning them is a basket case. I make my comments knowing full well the quality of response I will get from them. I must be a masochist.

Ted   June 14th, 2010 10:07 am ET

@ JamesB

Although Smith of Oregon shoots off into the far left field sometimes, you must admit she knows her stuff. If we had more people like her we would not be in a constant war since 1941!!!
Do you like killing people, James, many blogger have more brain than that!

To control a country 22% of followers with huge sums of money can do it very easily. All it takes is to tell the uneducated masses that they are the greatest and God wants them to rule the world.
They follow the leader without any second thoughts, after all, we are the greatest, or not? Take the example of baby Bush, who talked to God on a daily base.

@ John H

You certainly will not hurt yourself and may learn something new if you take time to read the intelligently written blogs, even if they are not fully to your liking.
I research my blogs and you can be sure it is not a BS. Naturely, I may see this world with other eyes and have other education like most.
I have absolutly no objections against you correcting my blog as long as you know what are you talking about.
Most people use gutter language to voice their opposition to a point made.

Danny N. Nieves Sr   June 14th, 2010 10:11 am ET

Hi, Larry
Hi, Folks

As I read and hear what is going on with the oil spil I can not hope it and start crying. When I lost my house due to the floods I was devastated what happen. The sad thing is that I had insurance and did not paid! So Imaging what is going to happen to the folks that lost their jobs, because of the oil spill! GOD BLESS US ALL

Ted   June 14th, 2010 10:18 am ET

Geologists, under the direction of our Department of Defense, did find gigantic deposits of minerals in Afghanistan, namely lithium, gold, copper and natural gas.
Lithium will make that country as rich as Saudi Arabia is with oil.

My first though was, what does the DoD have to do with minerals, their job is to attack countries in the name of defending our freedom?
This news is the confirmation of my previous blogs about the real purpose of that war! Forget the democracy and freeing the women.
It is just for rich minerals that country has to offer. We just had to destroy the Taliban, our friends and allies during the russian invasion, because they would never do business with us.

IKHAN   June 14th, 2010 11:38 am ET

you are not far off the mark.

In Afghanistan its open season for all the neighbors & we are stuck in the middle.
The stakes are high both for its strategic location & mineral wealth & access to the natural riches of Central Asian Republics.
Not only Pakistan but Russians,Indians, Iranians, Israelis have their covert operations going on vying for a foot hold or strategic geopolitical aims.
If we are aiming for the riches then we can never win as history proves. And Iraq should be lesson enough.
If not then we better get out fast without losing more American lives & get on with a political solution getting all the neighbors on board.

vitoria   June 14th, 2010 12:43 pm ET

Is Larry King related to Kathy Griffin ?
sorry Larry there is so much important issues in this world to be concernned and you keep bringing back this annoying person over and over again , there is more interest people that would do a better job by sitting opposite you Larry .
Sorry Kathy that is my opinion !

Mary   June 14th, 2010 12:58 pm ET

@ Ted...all this time I thought A Smith was a male...learn something new everyday! certainly some days seems just like a grumpy old man!!! It seems like many of the bloggers who used to post aren't anymore on this blog.

Darcy   June 14th, 2010 1:00 pm ET

If Kathy Griffin thinks she is a comedian then I have no sense of humour. In my opinion she is crass, immature,& just plain boring.

IKHAN   June 14th, 2010 2:58 pm ET

@Ted @ Mary
news to me too. Doesn't matter really what @Smith has to say makes a lot of sense & carries the weight of research well done.

@James B @John H
welcome to the blog guys. Even if you don't agree to what a blogger has to say it will be good to get some concrete suggestions from you relevant to what's going on in today's world.

Folks after President Obama asked BP to establish an escrow, Harry Reid & the Democratic Caucus is asking them to put $ 20 billion in escrow to exhibit their good intent to pay for the clean up.
I think its time something like this done. What do the fellow bloggers think?

JamesB   June 14th, 2010 3:22 pm ET

I think you are either a liar or a pitiful financial planner. With all that's going on in the financial markets, you're on LKL during prime market hours. And you did not know the difference between a future and derivative, thus you supported Michael Moore even though those of us who know something about finances realized he was talking about a future when LK asked him what a derivative was.
As for your blasting Griffin, saying she was vulgar. You revealed a lot about yourself with your very degrading comments about women when the Miss USA contestant photos were posted.
If you want to get involved in comments directed elsewhere, be prepared. Do you like killing your clients financially because you're too busy working against the companies in which you have them invested?

JamesB   June 14th, 2010 3:26 pm ET

@John H,
You are correct. There are a few who treat this blog like a chat room, continually supporting and praising one another. As for anyone who disagrees with them, they seem either to totally ignore them by addressing their comments to the club members or they attack them.
I feel much the way you do but I will give it back if they want to attack.

You are right; many have left and it's because it's the same nonsense that sends the blog into overload routinely.

JamesB   June 14th, 2010 3:33 pm ET

@John H
I have read your comments in the past. You are obviously very intelligent and post comments with a voice of reason and logic without adding emotion to it. That is to be admired.

Linda G   June 14th, 2010 3:59 pm ET

I love Kathy, but, was sad that she spoke over her own Mom, and her sweet Mom did not have a chance to answer any of Larry's questions, Kathy, give your Mom some respect, she deserves it.

John H   June 14th, 2010 10:35 pm ET

@JamesB...Thanks for the compliment James. I do read these comments thoroughly and often times find it quite scary to realize that some of these people actually reside on the same continent I do. I will more often than not simply just let the really outlandish comments go by but eventually the boiler reaches the red line on the guage and I just can't resist. I expected A. Smith to come back but am not surprised it happened to be Ted. He's another one on my short list. They will always come out with claims to their well researched comments and their willingness to duke it out with opponents. I try not to use any of the potty language Ted refers to and in all fairness, I'd have to say he tends to refrain also. As for their research, I suspect they circulate in questionable circles and depend upon unsupported research. More often than not, you find personal bias throughout. I have to wonder when they find time to go to the grocery store with all that research. I also, like Mary and yourself was convinced that A. Smith was or is male. Guess my prejudice is showing. I guess my biggest problem with them is their tendency toward conspiracy theory and what they will accept as factual. I consider myself an independent politically and have voted both Republican and Democrat. They may be surprised to learn that I voted for President Obama although I also liked John McCain. You will hear that everything from the cost of milk to the Black Plague being the fault of George W. Bush and nothing good can be said about religion. So at least we know where their base values are and can read their comments knowing what often goes on behind the scenes. I don't dislike any of them but am constantly reminded of Pavlov's Dog (A comparision I often make) as they are so predictable. What makes them so dangerous is their unshakable conviction that they are always right and those who disagree are simpletons who have not benefited from the same high education that they have. If you respond to them, you may as well take a stick and beat on a hornets nest as you will get much the same response.

Ted   June 15th, 2010 8:25 am ET

@ JamesB and John H

If you reread my blog addressed to you, you may notice it is a normal language, no personal insults.

Both of you have the tendency to get personal and insulting as soon you read a blog that is not to your liking. That shows a poor and childish character, my friends.

As far as my source of information: they are top of the line and international and you may read the info in your newspaper AFTER you read it in my blog.

And who is complimenting eachother this time, James and John?

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   June 15th, 2010 8:34 am ET

Smith in Oregon is a man I think. Well sounds like one to me.

IKHAN   June 15th, 2010 1:11 pm ET

could be they are one & the same person?

JamesB   June 15th, 2010 1:50 pm ET

Interesting thought but I am laughing about it. First of all, not true. Secondly, I laugh because your comment suggests that if there are two people on the planet who don't always agree with the crew, then surely they are one in the same as it could not be feasible that there would actually be more than one who has a different opinion.
Revealing and funny! Have a good day.

JamesB   June 15th, 2010 1:55 pm ET

I'm sure we all see ourselves differently than others do. If some want to spend their day researching and cutting and pasting from internet sites, I'm glad they have time to do that. But if you feel you never make personal comments about others, I would say that is not true. I have read your personal comments toward people of different political views and, really unfortunately, toward people and their religious beliefs. It's important to keep in mind and respect that not every political view someone has is based on a fact; sometimes opinion. If our opinions were based totally on fact, there would be no way that some can never find a flaw with their party. There is nothing factually to be found that would support any administration being perfect. Have a good day.

Cookla   June 15th, 2010 4:15 pm ET

Why is Kathy Griffin on televison and Larry's show all the time come on CNN rating go down when we see her does she think she is funny so boring for a so call comedian what is her problem with Oprah she hasn't been invited on the Oprah's show and feel's like she should, Kathy Griffin humour makes me feel depressed can't stand the woman hope she doesn't come to Europe have to warn everybody an obnoxiuos Griffin is coming can she spell the word "JOKE"
Cookla xx

Ted   June 16th, 2010 5:53 am ET

@ JamesB

Political views are never based on facts, but on upbringing, education, opinions and experiences in life. What you learn, see and experience will form your idea of what is right and what is wrong with a system.
This blog is not a scientific editions, but based mostly on private opinions of those who participate, and we see this world differently.
Some of us are better educated, travelled, others just read the Bible and use it to solve all problems of this world. Others read only the sport pages and the stock market quotations and talk about those all day, boring most people to death.
What is your pleasure, James? I have travelled five continents many times, did you ever leave your hometown?

We do not know eachother, however you keep insulting me for months, doubting my qualification, calling me a liar, etc. etc.
That shows where do you come from, James! Your Momma and Pappy never though you proper manners.
It seems you are also jealous that I have the time to participate in this blog when you have to go to earn your money.
It your heart out, I can efford it.

You must be one of those who cannot have a discussion without ending it with a fistfight if the other person do not agree with your view of this universe.

IKHAN   June 16th, 2010 1:57 pm ET

@James B.
thanks a lot. I stand corrected. That was a random thought posted in haste.I don't do that often.
you are right when you say blogs are not scientific editions or forums where scholars or Nobel Laureates only appear at the podium.
blogs are meant for all people to air their opinions & views. If some contribute useful scientific or well researched info so much the better.
Take care @James B @ Ted

Kathy Griffin: Thank you, thank you Kathy Griffin.
As a life long former Chicagoan born/raised just outside The Loop my partner and I were heartened to hear Kathy's strong opinions on the gay community. Kathy deserves six crowns on her crown, whether in heaven or here on earth.

We in the gay community love her.

Kathy, who care who hate you, God loves you, that's why he send Jesus to die for all of us, He gave evryone the opportunity to make their own choice, but every decision we make will have a consequence. Homosexual acts will be ponished at judgement day, He loves gay people but it is an abomination the act of sex same gender according to the word of God. Please don't take this as an offense because thanks to Jesus blood, gays can also be saved.Iam straight and I love all mankind in Jesus mighty name..

Patricia Maureen Fermaniuk   August 17th, 2010 10:14 pm ET

Our fore fathers can not be compared or used in such a disrespectable way as shown by Kathy Griffin. She claims that we all have a constitutional right to freedom of choice based on The Civil Rights of this Country. Does she realize that our founding fathers actually based their power on the word of God. This generation has forgotten the Bible in every aspect. Wake Up Kathy!!! Same sex marriage is an abommination to God. Tell me how Civil Law compares, in any way, with God's law? God is your creator!!! You are nothing without him. Screw the laws of man. They'll keep you in the dark for their own self worthy. Watch how God will show his wrath on this nation. Its happening today . Disasters are rampant in this Country, only to get worse if nothing changes for the approval of the One and Only Leader, Our God!!!
