LKL – Natalee Holloway's family glad Joran van der Sloot going to prison

Dear Larry, appreciated listening to your panel of expert the other night on how to rectify and stop the oil spill, unfortunately what I came away with was this, it seems to me the entire focus was directed solely on stopping the oil spill which according to them wouldn't happened at the earliest sometime in Aug.–so here's the thing: What about doing and focussing some attention to containing the spill in the meantime? Here's an armchair quarterback solution for what it's worth! Rather than utilize toxic dispersant that in my mind only exacerbates the problem, why not construct a massive net, with material porous enough to allow water through but fine enough to contain the thicker oil, sort of like employing the vacuum bag theory whereby the air is allowed through but the dirt remains, well, most of anyway! This masssive cone shape bag could be held on top by several boats/ships with an elastic closing band at the bottom which would be wrapped around the leaking pipe. When this cone shape bag is nearly full, it would be pulled by the boats/ships to a special reservoir with a second bag/cone at the ready to take over, only two of these massive bags/cones would be necessary as they are filled and emptied repetitively. Sounds simple and silly perhaps but i think this could work amply to contain the leak, preserve our waters and save millions in cleanup until we/they are ready to plug the damn thing! BP could help people in the Gulf area in 2 big ways

1. Set up an education/scholarship fund, $1 billion to start, for all people affected by this oil in the gulf, so they can get skills for another type of employment after BP oil kills all the fish.

2. Invest $1 billion in alternative energies in the Gulf area – factories making solar panels, windmills, using tides for energy, etc.

$2 billion to BP is maybe a few weeks profits. That could help the people a lot, and show that BP does care about the people and wants to make up for this mess.

Today, the FBI quickly issued a strong comment clearly stating the FBI did not give van der Sloot the 25,000 dollars that van der Sloot used to travel from Aruba to Peru where he then murdered a young Peruvian woman.

It appears the Holloway family hired a private investigator who gave van der Sloot 25,000 dollars in an attempt to entrap or ensnare van der Sloot into a extortion scheme to reveal the location of Natalee Holloway's body.

That would certainly appear to place the Holloway Family as enabling van der Sloot to murder that young Peruvian woman, if he wasn't given that money he would not have been able to travel to Peru and murder that woman.

What about the News Media involvement? I strongly feel one or more News Media has provided sizeable funds to the Holloway family over the years in searching for the body of Natalee Holloway.

DID a News Media individual or company directly work with the Holloway family to hire that Private Investigator?

DID a News Media individual directly provide the 25,000 dollars which was given to van der Sloot that enabled him to murder that young woman in Peru?

Larry, please inform Mr. Stone and Mr. Ventura that they got to see and hear what Mr.Chavez wanted them to see and hear. As an exporter from Miami, I have been involved in Venezuela since 1969 and I can tell you that your guests are way out in left field about Venezuela. They should move there and experience in person all the hardships that the average citizen goes through every day under that totalitarian regime .
