Your my favorite rapper and im excited about your new album but are u gonna have a mixtape come out before your album?

cynthia washington   May 13th, 2010 8:02 pm ET

What advise would you give young teen males with regard to peer pressure and making the correct choices?

Dodie   May 13th, 2010 8:27 pm ET

Rapper T.I. was arrested in 2007 for trying to purchase firearms illegally. He has and is paying for his crime with a prison stay and 1,500 hours of community service. TI accepted responsibility for his crime and paying the price.

My question is...... Large corporate America continues to play "dodge ball" with the 'white collar crime game' resulting in gargantuan destruction of this country! Case in point! Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are finally under SEC investigation. It will be interesting to see what transpires.

Then we have BP, Transocean, and contractor Halliburton pointing the finger at each other for the responsibility of the oil-spill catastrophe in the Golf of Mexico which is probably the greatest oil disaster in history! It appears that the test for the Oil rig did Not pass, and they continue to proceed creating incredible irresponsibility.

Transocean, which owns the Deepwater Horizon rig now wants a federal court in Houston to limit the liability for the massive oil spill to only $26.8 million! So, I ass-ume the American Taxpayers will be 'moping' up after these large corporations due to their irresponsibility!

How much longer will we allow large corporations to continue their irresponsible behaviors at the cost of American Taxpayers?

The American taxpayers have been taken to the cleaners and left in the agitation cycle for so long, no wonder we are all drowning!

KELLI W.   May 13th, 2010 8:33 pm ET

What is the one life lesson you have learned throughout your current situation?

Lekeya McDowell   May 13th, 2010 8:39 pm ET

Hello Larry and TIP!! TIP I would like to know do you plan on going back to MTV to do your reality show so you can continue to help troubled youth?

Smith in Oregon   May 13th, 2010 9:01 pm ET

Good evening Larry King, CNN Guests, Staffers and fellow bloggers.

John Welch   May 13th, 2010 9:02 pm ET

What genre of movies would you want to be in later in your career?

Lucky Guy   May 13th, 2010 9:03 pm ET

We are so tired of guys like him here in Atlanta. Please behave or go away.

David Anderson   May 13th, 2010 9:03 pm ET

I have been a fan since the film ATL. Very talented young man! I wish him much love and success!
David a gringo in Costa Rica

Smith in Oregon   May 13th, 2010 9:04 pm ET

WOW, only 9 months for illegal machine guns AND SILENCERS? A LOT of money must have changed hands to receive that light a sentence.

A machine gun or a silencer in connection with a crime often results in a LIFE in PRISON sentence.

Where does a silencer come into protecting the family? That entirely sounds untruthful.

H8 Is Karma   May 13th, 2010 9:04 pm ET

hey t.i., glad to see your back, what are your comments on lil waynes recent arrest?

shykerria   May 13th, 2010 9:05 pm ET

i want to know do he feel like a changed man

Jaguar Provo   May 13th, 2010 9:05 pm ET

T.I., is it possible to have you advise the community in Southern Georgia, near Georgia Southern University at any moment?

Melissa   May 13th, 2010 9:05 pm ET

How did you explain to your family what was happening and where you were going?

Eddie Williams   May 13th, 2010 9:05 pm ET

How do you feel about your safety now since time has past since your childhood friend has past?

Jaguar Provo   May 13th, 2010 9:06 pm ET

Is it possible to have you come to Georgia Southern University and speak to my mentoring program of young men, who find themselves where you just came from?

Smith in Oregon   May 13th, 2010 9:06 pm ET

Ironically NOW it is nearly impossible for him to ever obtain a concealed weapons permit and it'll be difficult for him to ever legally own a firearm.

If he get's jumped again, he'll be without any firearms unless he hires bodyguards who are licensed to carry them.

Vel   May 13th, 2010 9:07 pm ET

I am so happy to see T.I. looking as great coming out of prison as he did going in. My 3 year old loves T.I. because I love T.I. What words of wisdom can you give him for his future because all though he loves you, he wants to be Barack Obama? And what advice could you give a single mother trying to raise an African-American young man in our society?

Hina   May 13th, 2010 9:07 pm ET

How are the kids from your "Road to Redemption" doing now?

Cameron   May 13th, 2010 9:07 pm ET

Hey, T.I. glad you're finally out. Where do you get the motivation or ideas for your songs and the names to the songs?

Nathan   May 13th, 2010 9:08 pm ET

TI, as a mid twenties white male I hadn't felt that rap in the past decade allowed me to relate. Then I heard your music and I was thoroughly impressed by the melodies and talent you bring to a rather stale(in my personal opinion) rap scene. I was dissappointed when you got arrested thinking there goes another rapper down the tubes. Then I saw your road to redemption on MTV. I'm glad you turned it into a positive and have retained at least myself as a fan. Does the giving back for you stop at the MTV show or do you have future plans?

DeeDee Mucino   May 13th, 2010 9:09 pm ET

What are your Feature plans for your career ?
and what have you learned from all this?

Cathy   May 13th, 2010 9:10 pm ET

He reminds me of an early Tupac. He sends out positive message of what's really out there in life. And I am PROUD to say that I am I fan of both artists. I hope he keeps up the good work with his kids.

First i would like to say i am very happy and pleased that you are home, and you are on it already. Thank you! Next Of course i am a fan so i have to say it....... TIP I LOVE U! Ok as far as my question I am in love with the new hit record I'm back, i want to know if i can be on the remix. 🙂 No just kidding, Do you feel as if you can trust anyone after that situation accrued? Or are you going to keep it strictly family?

Brandon Perkins   May 13th, 2010 9:12 pm ET

When you gonna come back to Arkansas and do a show? You put us on the map just by getting locked up here

King   May 13th, 2010 9:12 pm ET

He said the police never found who killed Tupac, Biggie and grand master jay. Well blame it on the 'no snitch thing'. Rappers are the big crusaders of the no snitching thing

P. Fletcher in Atlanta   May 13th, 2010 9:13 pm ET

Question for T.I.P.: Curious to know what lessons did you learn from MTV's "Road to Redemption"? Would you do it again if the camera's werent there?

Good job!!! Stay focused!!!

Gina Marie   May 13th, 2010 9:14 pm ET

Hey Larry,

Can you ask T.I. if being an 'A' student has helped him with his word play in rapping? His word play is outstanding, and his songs are great stories.

Thanks!

jerry sanders   May 13th, 2010 9:15 pm ET

This ti guy should absolutely be in prison. Blacks represent only 13% of the population in the USA

danielle   May 13th, 2010 9:15 pm ET

Jaguar Provo   May 13th, 2010 9:16 pm ET

How did your relationship with Tiny change when you returned home, if at all?

Deyjra Walls   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

When are you going to marry Tiny?

Smiff   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

Are you willing to work with a talented group of producers from the caribbean island St.Kitts?

marie d.   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

Just want to say I have a lot of respect for T.I. Before and after everything that has come out. Keep up the good work and making Atlanta and GA proud.

Kathy   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

How do you feel about the school that was upset for you trying to speak to their children and if you were ever in the same situation agAin,such as the death of Philant, how would you handle it this time around

jonathan futrell   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

When did you first develop a relationship with God ?

Kayla Jones   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

What was it like for T.I in jail?

Dee Dee Hollie   May 13th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

I just wanted to say that I am a big fan of T.I. I think he is an awesome performer and an artist as well. I think that he will come away from this ordeal a changed man and hopefully he will use what has happened to him as a teaching tool for young people as an example of what not to do. I look forward to getting the new album that drops in August. I am soo excited to see him on Larry King. That is a way to jump start your way back into the limelight!!! I am pulling for you T.I. and welcome back!!!! The sky is the limit!!! Trust in God and he will give you the desires of your heart!!1!

Chastity   May 13th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

T.I. when are you going to tour? Your Atlanta fans would love to see you headline a show at Phillips Arena!!!

Chastity

Atlanta, GA

Genesis   May 13th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

T.I.
I simply adore you and i'm happy that you have finally been released. I enjoy watching Tiny's reality show Tiny & Toya. How do you feel about her recent business endeavor with the new nail salon?

Much Love...

Corie Ruth   May 13th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

Congrats on being home, hope all is well. Can't wait for the next album! When are you and Tiny finally getting hitched? Also will you and Eminem be collaborating again, I think you 2 are the best in the game right now.

Thanks
Corie
Louisville, KY

Tracey Tucker   May 13th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

When you had all those guns in your house, did you feel you were putting your children's lives at risk?

chelly   May 13th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

I am so happy that TI is making positive things from a negative situation that he was in and I am learing that there are things to do in situations like those.... TI is a great artist and he has so much love and respect for his community and for the young children that look up to him on so many levels and they aspire to be like him in so many ways...

He is such an inspiration to me and I appreciate what he has contributed to the world and the music industry

Keita   May 13th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

Before we judge, you have to walk in a persons shoes...I have seen you perform over 6 times...Everytime you come to VA...I am there and will continue to be there. What you have done with your life, you should be proud....you turned alot of negative into positive and thats why You will continue to be King..Partna!!!Muah!

Adam, Alabama   May 13th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

You're the greatest rapper to arrive on the hip hop scene since Eminem, but if the weapons you purchased were for self-defense, then why all of the silencers?

Ruthie   May 13th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

Are you still going to stick with a sequel of Days Til Redemption? There are still young men and women who could be uplifted in their wrong paths in life. I think you can still inspire those troubled individuals.

eisha   May 13th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

I was raised in the 'hood'. I always carried a gun until I went to jail and was told that I could not have one: not even to protect my property. A bodyguard could help but nothing like having your own back. Do you think that you will feel safe without the security of a gun?

Ben goodman   May 13th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

Question for t.I, why did you feel the need to protect yourself? From what? As a professional artist shouldn't you be better than put yourself in a position to where you believe u must protect urself?

GLORIA   May 13th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

Why is TI acting so arrogant like he has not done anything wrong? He is acting defensive. The fact that you needed that many guns around you to feel protected says something about your demented state of mind. I hope you learned a lesson in prison. Grow up!

Avi_in_OP   May 13th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

Interesting interview: QUESTION: What will keep T.I. from returning to the lifestyle that caused his imprisionment?

Kevin "Cap" Burgess   May 13th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

T.I. First of all I'm one of your fan and of Music, but how do u feel about your self and others celebrities "rappers" who are or may have been incarcerated getting these short sentences...from a average person.

Aigner Miller   May 13th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

Has your life changed since you went to prison?

Racquelle Murphy - Atl, Ga   May 13th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

T.I. i am a concerned 17 year old girl. I would like to know what advice can you offer teenage boys or young men that choose guns over books....And what are you doing differently to ensure that your sentence is not repeated.

Deborah in Missouri   May 13th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

Hi Larry! Can you ask T.I. if he thinks legalizing marijuana would reduce drug violence? And would he vote to legalize marijuana?

Scottayy   May 13th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

when are you going to be back in the studio to drop something???

blackbeauty   May 13th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

I'm hoping that you TI will choose family instead of non benifical business because prison seem more like a cycle then love for family question is will the cycle over rule him in the future or will his love for his fans, family, plus bussiness progress.

Brenna   May 13th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

T.I, What happened the night your best friends got shot and killed?? And would you ever do a duo with Chris Brown??

Julie Moore   May 13th, 2010 9:22 pm ET

T I , I am very proud of you. When you went to prison, you were a confused and scared kid. Now you are the total opposite. When you started talking i called my 18 year old son to watch. He's all in it. Thanks for the knowledge and proving to everybody that you are more than just hip hop. God bless you.

Brandon Brown   May 13th, 2010 9:22 pm ET

just wanted to say t.i. is the best rapper and i think he knows how stuff goes and he is in a way a good role model for talking about what he done and been through and what is right and wrong and he needs to keep on doing what hes doing.

Casey kurtyka   May 13th, 2010 9:23 pm ET

T.I., how many notebooks have you filled with raps during your time in jail?

Alexy Rudolph   May 13th, 2010 9:24 pm ET

Stay prayerful and stay blessed! Do not let anything get you down because truely God is who kept you alive! I am not crazy about the interview tactics used by Larry! However people young and old need to know various sides of a story. My family said you look good T.I. and no matter what live for today. God got your angel looking over you!

Kyrian A.   May 13th, 2010 9:24 pm ET

Do you have a foundation? If so what is the name of it and how do you support it and who do I contact to donate to it?

Bryan Calhoun   May 13th, 2010 9:25 pm ET

Since your out now what are your plans. Are you going to take back over the south?

Asia L. debnam   May 13th, 2010 9:25 pm ET

Do you feel if you could go back and start all over again, would you do it?

jennifer   May 13th, 2010 9:25 pm ET

I was also poor less than 50 bucks in my pocket, but I did not destroy lives by selling drugs! It would be different if you were destroying your life by doing them also. This is sick

Amir In ATLANTA   May 13th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

T.I. You interview very well. Your level of professionalism and demeanor is of the highest caliber while being asked the tough questions about your past, present and future.

jac Cap   May 13th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

I'm sitting here listening to Larry and T.I (of which I am a great fan of his music) however; I'm not feeling the sincerity in this interview. When T.I was interviewed shortly before his incarceration, he seemed remorseful. Now, post incarceration, I'm feeling that he is coming across defensive of his actions; almost mocking. Sorry, but I'm a bit disappointed. He seems to support guns?

Matt   May 13th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

Who inspired you to become a rapper?

Damion Williams   May 13th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

I was wondering if there were any arrest made for the killings of big Phil, and do you still feel as if your life or your families life is still in jeopardy?

Tiffany   May 13th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

I'm a big fan of yours. I love your music. What is your best thing about being back from prision?

jovanny   May 13th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

t.i nice to have u back...what is your plan for the future to keep yourself clean ???? when is the next single coming out ???

k.white   May 13th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

I have a 13yr old son that idolize you. He has every cd since trap muzik. He is a wonderful kid but he doesn't understand the importance of making good grades. What would you suggest I do so my son can be more focused?

Pedro from Maple, Ontario   May 13th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

What would you like to accomplish now that you're out of prison? (something you haven't accomplished already...)

Marilyn Jaeckle   May 13th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

T.I.

My son and his friends are BIG fans of yours. My husband and I have your CD. We are glad to see you out and get a fresh start. God Bless you and we look forward to get your grear music in the future.

Again God Bless

ChaToya Smith   May 13th, 2010 9:28 pm ET

How has this change you in what all the suff you been through and how have you grow up to be a wiser man that are now?

Meka   May 13th, 2010 9:28 pm ET

I want to say that we all mess up but i't's what we do to make it right that counts. T.I. your a great person. Keep doing what your doing!!

Alvin Collins   May 13th, 2010 9:28 pm ET

Question for T.I: What advice do you have for kids you have a need to buy and use guns?

Koshia   May 13th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

Will there be a tour coming up?

Shay   May 13th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

T.I.
I have to positively be your biggest fan and I am amazed at the strength you showed through all of this as well as being a pilar in broken communitites by doing community service and sharing your life story...
I just have to know, when are you going back on tour? And if you will be on tour, will you PLEASE come back to Champaign, IL and try it again for the 3rd time, this time has to be the charm!
You are an inspiration to EVERYONE, keep doing what you're doing, and keep your head to the sky because the sky is the limit... I will ALWAYS be a fan!!

Faith   May 13th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

I just want to say to TI that I am a minister in Atlanta who has been covering him in prayer for a few years. We all make mistakes. And God allows those mistakes so that we can learn from them and use the lessons we have learned to teach others. I want to say to you TI, "Hold your head up and know that God is going to use you TREMENDOUSLY". There is a light that is shining on you that you don't even see yet. But I see it. Everything that you have gone through, good and bad, has all been a part of the process of making you into the Man you are today and the man your are BECOMING everyday. I will continue to cover you in prayer. The past is the past. And your future is VERY BRIGHT young man...VERY BRIGHT.

shameen   May 13th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

would you ever consider doing a cd with jay z and/or kayne west

tatiana sullivan   May 13th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

T.I. I have a question for you: Who is your favorite rapper ever?

Lauren   May 13th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

Hey TI:

Just wanted to let you know that Ive been supporting your music since Urban Legand. I know how much your life situations influence your current music; how is your time in jail going to influence or change the music you put out on your next album and in the future? Will we see a new TI?

Lauren

Ann Davis   May 13th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

I am enjoying the intervierw with TI and he seems to have his head screwed on straight now and his heart right with God and that's what matters. You could see the genuinenes and sincerity in his faceand voice when he said that being a father was the most important thing and something he is enjoying and that he is trying to make a difference in his children's lives and the lives of young "at risk" people. What a wonderful turnaround for TI! Kudos and accolades!

Chevon Hines   May 13th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

Hello!

Please ask T.I. if he will use his celebrity for good and if the messages in his music are going to change to defer kids from lives of crime, drugs, and jail? What has he learned that he wants to pass on to people that are currently in the situation he is coming out of?

kianna c.   May 13th, 2010 9:31 pm ET

hi my name is kianna from upstate new yorl.first off i would like to tell you how excited that youre finally out & able to reconnect with your family, friends,& fans musically. my question is, if you could would you take back what happened, or do you have no regrets because it was in regards to the safety of you and your family?

janice   May 13th, 2010 9:31 pm ET

T.I. what's the message you are going to send now with this new album and all your future projects? has your msg changed at all?

Big T   May 13th, 2010 9:31 pm ET

Good To have you home and well. Will you be touring with this new CD? You were always out on the road year round? Lastly, Can you have JG get back to me!

tachyon   May 13th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

Shay   May 13th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

T. I.
Would you do anything differently if you had the chance, or do you think that this has helped make you who you are today?

Will you continue being active in all communities by continuing to tell your story?

Will you PLEASE go on tour and come back to my town?

technipimp   May 13th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

Glad to see your home and off that little bid. Atlanta needs ya back. But straight up let the kids help to keep your eyes on the prize. Im from the same streets you kicked it on probably even roller skated with ya sometime or another. If it weren't for my kids I would be headed back to jackson but most of these people wont understand. Keep killing the beats and welcome back to the A!

Sherwanna   May 13th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

T.I.P. I would like to say welome home glad you made it back to your family, I also would like to say thank you for keeping it real from what I have seen you are a good guy family man, love how you love your family neices/nephews/cousins/family, keeping it real with them. I just like you, I pray that you keep your eye on your family keep them correct because we all need someone to look up to who know when he/she is wrong and not to ashame to admit "hey I messed up I got to pay for what I did" forget what everyone else says the negative keep doing what you do stay true...T.I.P. continue to Love God and Love Life!!!!

Shay   May 13th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

T.I.
As a Huge fan of yours, how can I meet you?

H8 Is Karma   May 13th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

i got another question, where would you say young rappers like me would get publicity and start practicing? i got the frooty loops recording software, and i could get my songs ready, i just need a place to put them. i wanna start early, because bein a young star is kinda a hook

Alana L. from Midwest City,OK   May 13th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

I just want to say that I am proud of the man you have grown to become. You are a perfect example of a young, black man that these other young men can and need to learn from. I have much respect for you taking responsibility for your actions and learning from the situation as a whole. "I'm Back" is a major hit and we know you're coming back 100% strong! I support you all the way on your journey through life and one day hope to meet you!

fatherofthree   May 13th, 2010 9:34 pm ET

What are your plans for the future now that you have your freedom. With your family your business and your personal life

Jarad   May 13th, 2010 9:34 pm ET

T.I. In recent albums. It would seem that you are trying to describe the difficulty of the transition from street life to the preceived American dream. Do you feel that you have had enough of a chance to do that and do you feel that it is being received?

B from Colorado   May 13th, 2010 9:34 pm ET

so I understand why you might have needed guns for protection.... why the silencers??

Nick S.   May 13th, 2010 9:35 pm ET

t.i. if you ever had a chance to change your past would you change it.

Chanel   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

What do you plan on accomplishing with the new album and what can we expect?

leslie crawford   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

Hi, T.I I am a huge fan and I wanted to know if you plan on coming to Baltimore to perform

kyle graha   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

Hows being out of prison influence better music for the world

Iven   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

I'm happy you're out. Keep God first in your life.

Jhansi Waters   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

Why is Larry King asking T.I. questions like have you ever been violent or have you ever hit a woman. How about asking him about his talents? Does Larry ask his white country singer or rock star guests ridiculous questions like that. T.I. is an artist. I want to know about his growth as an artist, not about his past and especially the negative. Just because he is a black man, the whole interview is focused on the negative. How about discussing his accomplishments!

John B   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

What is the future for T.I's music career and when can we expect a new cd?

Ari Bell   May 13th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

My question is What do you have to say about Tiny and Toya's reality show do you approve of it!

Stephanie- Tampa, FL   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

Not that I don't love your music, but this is where the justice system is soooo messed up. If I were to get caught with what you got caught with my child would get taken away and my butt would be going to Jail for a lot longer and I would have to serve my full sentence. No not 9 months.... I feel you need to go back and do more time!!!!!

Tammy Seck   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

Hi T.I. What's up brotha. I'm so proud of you you are a great man and great inspiration. May God Bless you and your family.

ELTON   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

what's new with grand hustle records are you looking to sign new artists?

Idiris   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

Do you find your children under risk? After all that has happended to you, do you find them under the same situation in the near future?

Sean Adams   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

Why do you not want your fiance' to continue on with her high rating show "Tiny & Toya" on BET do you feel she misrepresents you or your family ??

Stefanie Beyale   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

I would like to know how much of a change has TI made in the lives of the children he tried to influence to better their lives before TI went to prison. Also, does he still keep in touch with them and how are they doing now.

D'Anthony Robinson   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

Question for T.I. – In regards to the situation you ensued with trust and your circle, what about the situation with a former friend and label mate Alfamega? How and when do you approach everything with that?

Haley Allen   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

I'm in high school going to college on a full track scholarship, what motivation advice can you prensent to me for my future?

michelle   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

I am a big fan loved you in ATL, I want to know if you are still moving to Arizona?

Stormy Jenkins   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

I'm from Hollywood Rd right by Hollywood Courts and I've wondered what do you think about Bankhead basically being torn down.

Skylar   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

Do you think it is good for teens to look up to you? What did you do with your mail while being incarsarated because I sent you one?

Javon   May 13th, 2010 9:37 pm ET

I want to ask T.I. Does he think that he is being pressured into marriage? being that, that is what everyone expects, like Tiny or her family and friends. To me, it seems like everyone is forcing the issue. Nothing is wrong with marriage but it should be a decision between the two not any outsiders.

Monica(Lithonia)   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

Hello T.I. I want to know how do you explain to your children about the mistakes you made and how are will you handle it if they ever encounter the same trials you went through

Tonya Washington   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

I'm a true fan of T.I. and I just want to know if the reason he brought the guns was ever resolved? He spent time in jail for being caught with these weapons and I just want to know after all was said and done was the reason for the this ever brought to the surface?

Pelar   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

Tip how will you use your recent mistakes that you have indured in your life to be sure remain free, and safe

Shay from Cincinnati   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

T.I.

So glad to have you back and sharing your wisdom. my question for you is would you ever consider performing in Cincinnati OH again? I understand the hesitation but we really love you here and don't want your judgement to be based on 2 uneducated people who were jealous. We love you here in Cincinnati and would love to see you come back. You are such an inspiration to aspiring artist like myself. Thanks

Teneshia (N.C.)   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

Why do you think black rappers disrespect their black women so much? You don't hear white artist disrespecting their women.

chrystin   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

do you have a new album coming out?

Amiga Foster   May 13th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

Question for T.I.
Now that you are out of prison, and still attempting community service with the youth, what type of response are you getting from the kids? Are they just mesmerized by your stardom or do you feel that they truly get the message that you are conveying?

Tanner Chamberlain   May 13th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

Idiris   May 13th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

Crystal Tierra   May 13th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

T.I. Glad to see u made it through the hard times and I'm sure u have learned a big lesson. My question is how do you feel about the example you have now set for your children when they grow up and see that their father was in jail numerous times. How will you teach them not to follw your path?

Adriona   May 13th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

As an avid listener to T.I.'s music, I notice that he is very articulate and conveys his thoughts very well. I want to know if he's always been able to do this or if this quality came upon him when he reached a certain age.

sara   May 13th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

Hi T.I.! So glad that you are home. When will you start touring again? Are you thinking about giving up your rap career for an acting career? Either way, you will still be respected.

I've only been to one of your shows many years ago in Albany, Georgia. I'm Serious was out at that time. You were so cool and respectful towards all of your fans. You stood by the exit and thanked everyone for coming to your show. That really meant a lot to me and I've had nothing but love for you every since. Take care and I pray that God will continue to bless you.

Eva   May 13th, 2010 10:03 pm ET

I am a parent of a college student that was murdered. He attended an HBCU in North Carolina. I understand when you say that people are jealous of you. I know that was the situation with my son. Unfortunately, his life was taken. He also, was a very smart young man with big dreams.

Please know that your life is a testimony for other young men.

Rita D   May 13th, 2010 10:03 pm ET

T.I. is a very professional, intelligent and positive man and mentor. He has learned from his mistakes and owned up to his part. We should let go of what he did and respect him as a man and an artist. Keep up the good work T.I.!

Jean   May 13th, 2010 10:06 pm ET

TI's advice was "Don't give up". Don't give up on what?He did not say much in the form of advice. It did not cross his mind to say: "Stay away from bad company, drugs, guns and prison" for bad company, evil influence and bad advice corrupt and leads to nowhere good. Live a good, clean and fruitful life. Stay in school, study hard so as one day to be able to seek and obtain a decent, stable job.

Denise   May 13th, 2010 10:14 pm ET

I'm glad I was able to shake your hand and rub that success off on me... The old King interviewed the new King. But u are the real King

Desiree Williams Savory   May 14th, 2010 12:11 am ET

Let this be the last time you let yourself down. Whether you like it or not, you and people like you in the entertainment industry have an influence on the children of the world.

Sonal Jennings   May 14th, 2010 12:15 am ET

Hi TI,

I am a super big fan of yours. I am currently a doctorate student in Counseling Psychology in a public state university in Texas. I am very interested in the struggles that African Americans and other people of color have faced in the United States since its inception. I am particulary interested in Hermeneutics, which is the study or interpretation of literary texts. I consider music lyrics to be part of this study, as well. As a result, listening to various Hip-Hop lyrics has really demonstrated and confirmed the oppression, struggles, despair, etc. that individuals of color experience. Do you think it would be better if society viewed Hip-Hop music lyrics in this manner versus the stereotypical disdain for such music? I feel that rappers and literary geniuses alike have much to say and express. I really just want individuals to have a voice, and I welcome your beautiful and enlightening lyrics – even if they inspire one person...you have achieved your main purpose in life. Thank you for your literary contributions! God bless.

christina fields   May 14th, 2010 12:15 am ET

how can you change rap now that lil wayne is serving time ?

melissa   May 14th, 2010 12:19 am ET

Who was your rolemodel as a child?

jack   May 14th, 2010 12:21 am ET

@Dodie...Hi, you got lost in a huge crush of fans.

Wyatt McElroy   May 14th, 2010 12:21 am ET

What advice would you give young teenagers to help them realize that revenge isn't worth it? How has this changed you and your family?

JESSE   May 14th, 2010 12:22 am ET

Why is TI asking BET to pull the plug on Tiny's & Toya Show?

Eddie Crockett   May 14th, 2010 12:22 am ET

Well, Me being a Full-Time student here in Arkansas I was wondering what advice could you give a person like me who wants to be in the music business and what to be heard? I mean, T.I. is my ideal in the game and I have every cd that he has put out...Im down with The King!!! But as far as that goes i would also like to know what T.I. would say to a person like me who is around a crowd that doesnt has anything going for their self in life...what postive choice could I make to be more successful in Life?

tesha   May 14th, 2010 12:22 am ET

i admire you for your come back. keep your head up T.I. Do you plan on getting married anytime soon?

Gregory   May 14th, 2010 12:23 am ET

What a disappointment. An arsenal of guns because he didn't feel safe? That is such cop out. He's trying to clean up his act and he has no regrets or remorse. You can that in his silly grin when LK asked him about his guns.

Not everyone who grows up with difficult issues ends up embracing and emulating the surroundings. Many STEP UP!

Not a role model for youth or for his profession.

Colton bailey   May 14th, 2010 12:24 am ET

I want to be a music artist, and i was wondering how you started with music

Brittany   May 14th, 2010 12:24 am ET

Did any of this affect you and you family?

Obama   May 14th, 2010 12:25 am ET

Yo tip you gonna drop sum wit gucci ? Nd what's good wit a show in el paso ?

Tonya   May 14th, 2010 12:25 am ET

I agree Larry with TI in that my son was an A student from birth brought up in church. He went to public school for first time this year. He was bullied, hit, threatened and etc. Even though I talked explained went to school entire nine yards, due to the school environment, he started exhibiting poor behavior. This I feel is to fit in, and stop getting harrassed due to he did not listen to harsh music, could not do the chicken leg, and did not curse. He adapted to keep from being called a punk or gay. Thank goodness with all the bullying suicides, it was not an option. Environment and peer pressure is a motivator to some children no matter what race. I feel that we should as adults address this issue in our school. The rule is basically the strong survive and weak die. Do what you gotta do to survive. With these rules what kind of citizens are being created?

SIDESHOW JOE   May 14th, 2010 12:26 am ET

What is your biggest regret? Your biggest achievement? What are your hopes for the future for yourself and society in general?

Justbme   May 14th, 2010 12:27 am ET

I' am a 55 year old woman of color...I love TI music. This is a postive young man. He has paid the price for fame with the time he spent in prison. I wish him and his family only the best that God has in store for them all. Thank you for being the man that you are son. You did what you did and took the punishment like a man.

I was just curious if T.I. has security or has taken steps to have more security since his release?

Dominique Jones   May 14th, 2010 12:28 am ET

I have been hearing your new album is being compared to Tupac's "All eyes on me" album what is your take on that?

Lona Brown   May 14th, 2010 12:29 am ET

T.I if you ever had to face the people in your past that tried to harm you, what would your reaction be? If you could talk to them, what would you say?

Tricia   May 14th, 2010 12:29 am ET

Alla   May 14th, 2010 12:33 am ET

Did you ever write any of your fans back while in prison?

Amada Madrid   May 14th, 2010 12:33 am ET

T.I.'s humility on the show put a lot of societal issues and personal experiences into perspectve. I appreciate his willingness to appear in a show, knowing he will will receive criticism and make the best of it. As a TI fan, I am proud of him and look forward to all his future accomplishments.

J   May 14th, 2010 12:34 am ET

Well which is it, you were out gunned, or you had no guns in Ohio? You have stated that you were out gunned, but then stated you had no guns? 7 years probation on a state drug charge, but only 3 years probation on federal gun charges..of a convicted felon??? Somethings wrong.

kendra   May 14th, 2010 12:35 am ET

TI what was your most fearful moment in prison. What comforted you in prison?

Eddie Crockett   May 14th, 2010 12:35 am ET

I also wanted to ask T.I. what was going through his head at the time when his situation happened with the guns and all?

PS: Keep doing ya thang T.I.P. You're my favorite artist in the game right now...When it comes to my rapping I want to be jus like The King!!! How about coming to Arkansas and do a show...I would really like to meet the KING...thats something I really want to do!!!!

Esbeey   May 14th, 2010 12:38 am ET

Does T I think that him and other rappers are targeted by the goverment, for having influence over the young black community ?

Stephanie Ellis   May 14th, 2010 12:39 am ET

pop4rmportarthur   May 14th, 2010 12:39 am ET

Tj   May 14th, 2010 12:39 am ET

I'm a huge fan of TI and music and my DREAM question to ask TI is where or how can I submit a song I've written for him.
Thank you 🙂

Kevin Kamakani   May 14th, 2010 12:40 am ET

About how many songs did you write in prison?

Ben Johnson   May 14th, 2010 12:41 am ET

TI, I am a typical conservative redneck from kentucky and I cannot say I care for rap music and I never listen to it BUT......... I'm an older man that has seen military service (viet Nam) and I have seen into the hearts of many men. I looked at your eyes a few moments ago and your face...your answers are honest......I consider myself a damned good judge of character But I trust what I see in a man's eyes above all else..... your a good man.....I would trust you with my life at any time.

jack   May 14th, 2010 12:44 am ET

@J...Couldn't he have been out gunned by not having any guns also?

Tenesha McGraw   May 14th, 2010 12:44 am ET

Ash   May 14th, 2010 12:50 am ET

Not a question but a statement your last album really was inspirational to me in a time of need. Not because of criminal activity but because of life itself being able to keep your head up high when times are hard and accepting your mistakes and utilizing your potential is something that I have understood from your albums. Good on you for giving back.
Ash from Canada

Chez P.   May 14th, 2010 12:51 am ET

I LOVE the work you are doing in your community service –

Have you spoken with any of your peers about doing this kind of community service? Why don't we see rappers doing this kind of work more often?

It seems that it would help kids separate the lyrics from the beat, fact from fantasy, and entertainment from instruction...

Dodie   May 14th, 2010 12:51 am ET

@jack
I feel I am in some kind of night club squished between people on the dance floor... remember those days someone moves their arms and hits you in the face ... lol :~)

keisha   May 14th, 2010 12:52 am ET

how can i get my artist out in the industry.

i would like for you to do a verse for me and my artist?

Pelimo   May 14th, 2010 12:58 am ET

Hello Larry, hello T.I. Glad you have a positive message to teach to the youth about life's choices. But, what do you have to say about the message that rappers today preach in their music- glorifying alcohol, guns, drugs, and degrading women?

jack   May 14th, 2010 1:07 am ET

T.I., you seem to be a reformed man. I hope so, and that you will be a good influence for your fans. You are in a position to push an agenda of positive change and nonviolence. I sincerely hope you do. Good luck.

My son's going to Arkansas!   May 14th, 2010 1:34 am ET

I enjoyed the 'rap' with you and Larry. My son is in Atl./DCU and scheduled now to go to AK. Is there anything you can tell a mom about what he can expect there? If you can write, either here or my email, I would be very grateful. My son is about your age and I know that he is 'retired', as well! For Larry... you think you can rap, but my 70 (something) year old mom (with an outlook of a 30 year old) sent you her 'Seventy-Five Sense' wrap video last year and we never heard back! Could it be that you viewed her Youtube Video / 'gas-o-lean' and got some ideas? Hhmmmmm? I know that before she leaves this world, she would loveeeee to have a studio session w/you and T.I. (hint, hint). Feel free to check her out again and rate! She could use all of the hits she can get, just to be able to get interviewed from you, Larry! We love you, and thank you T.I. Welcome back! Tony's Mom

onesherij   May 14th, 2010 1:55 am ET

T.I.: Very good interview. I love how you represented and held your ground. It shows you have matured. Keep your head up, your nose clean and your family close. Continue to grow as a human being, improve your craft and help the needy. It's up to you to be better and do better for God, yourself, Tiny and your children. Your future could be so bright but it's up to you.

As for all the critics and naysayers, T.I. will just have to prove you wrong. Those of us who support him know what he is capable of and how he will work hard towards continued success. It's so easy for a closed minded person to point the finger at someone else's shortcomings and wrongdoings. Where would you be (all of you) if you got what you truly deserved or were held accountable for all the shady, low down, hateful and negative things you have done? You would be where T.I. just left.

I wish T.I., Tiny and their families love, happiness and blessings. T.I., hopefully, you will not try to control Tiny so much and allow her to spread her wings again. Remember, she was a successful millionaire when you met her. Don't try to keep her under your thumb. She's a beautiful person with feelings.

I wish you well with your nuptials. Take care. We pray for your safety.

Sheri from Decatur, GA

Kay   May 14th, 2010 3:09 am ET

After being shot at when I was younger, I can understand what I call paranoia for ones life. Prior to your incarceration, you started working with youth at risk during your community service. Are you going to continue to mentor those youths?

Jesus   May 14th, 2010 3:16 am ET

what made you buy so many weapons if you couldn't carry most if them?

Caren   May 14th, 2010 3:25 am ET

Ask him what he would say to his attackers if he met them or what Philant (rest his soul) might have said.

Katie   May 14th, 2010 3:26 am ET

I'm a little late, but I'm watching your interview right now, @2am, my question to you is... what do you really think happened to Tupac based on what you heard?

Kevin   May 14th, 2010 3:30 am ET

Keep up the good work TI you still get mad props from my neck of the woods here in central cali.

marie   May 14th, 2010 3:44 am ET

hello larry n T.I. Im a huge fan of u but r u glad dat u hav 6 childeren.?.

O P   May 14th, 2010 3:47 am ET

""Have you ever hit a woman" "Has a woman ever hit YOU" Why do women report domestic violence but guys do not report it? why is the guy always portryed as the "victimizer" when in many cases it is the other way around???

If I understand correctly singer Rhiana is the one that HIT HER BOYFRIEND FIRST, probably after verbal abuse, humillation etc

Guys need to learn that it is OK to report domestivc violence , guys are victims too in many cases; men are not only "victims" of female verbal, physical and emotional abuse, men are also victims of the prejudices of society.

I encourage men not to hit women but to report them, only then will there will be true justice

marie   May 14th, 2010 3:52 am ET

Kim   May 14th, 2010 9:10 am ET

I would like to say ..well done on stepping up to the plate and fufilling you responsibility to the State, your family, friends, and fans...my question is:

Do you feel that music artist should start being more responsible for the quality of music that they put out here to influence the youth?

Dont get me wrong I love me some T.I., Outkast, Young Bloods, UGK, Three6Mafia and of course 8 Ball &MJG...but these videos and shoot em up music has really started to go to the youths head. I know its the radio stations that pick and choose what is played, but I feel if the quality of music they have to choose from needs to be better than the youth will be better. Call me old fashion, but we as people, emulate, imitate, and duplicate. We gotta help the young folk or there wont be any old folk.

gerald Jolly   May 14th, 2010 10:01 am ET

I believe that the law were completely wrong when they arrested and convicted T.I. on weapons charges, and illegaly charging him for possesion of narcotics, and threatening murder.

Under the second amendement he had the right to own a gun, under the fourth amendement he had a right to say or do whatever he wanted, and under the first amendement he had a right to protect himself and his family and property.

The "EXTREMELY SEVERE" sentence of 9 months in jail was uncalled for.

I think every citizen of the U.S. should boycott their police departments and demand that all the illegal weapons they have confiscated from criminals should be returned to them.

I also believe that every person that agrees with this blog, needs to get some psychiatric help.

gerald Jolly   May 14th, 2010 10:09 am ET

@ Dodie.

In reply to your blog, the third one on this page.

I am willing to bet everything I have and own, that nothing will happen to Goldman Sachs as well as the rest you have mentioned in your blog.

You see they have lots of money, and money brings power and strong legal attorneys, thus "FAIT ACCOMPLIS"

These perveyors of injustice and fraud plan their defence long before they commit the crimes, and JOE THE TAXPAYER MUST BITE THE BULLET.

It's the way it is, and always has been, and will be forever in a society that ADORES MONEY above all else.

SADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!

gerald Jolly   May 14th, 2010 11:04 am ET

@ BLACKMAMBA,

You sure got that right, as in Africa, killing someone because they looked at you in an angry fashion is totally O.K.

As they say in Africa.

YOU CAN RAPE MY DAUGHTER BUT DONT STEAL MY MONEY "RIGHT"

Dodie   May 14th, 2010 11:37 am ET

@ Gerald

Thank you! I seemed to have been drowned out by all the fans...

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   May 14th, 2010 11:47 am ET

Going by his recent interview with Larry............he not only was in possession of a gun...........but serious weapons...........like a machinegun. Go figure. Geez! What is society coming to.

Vasilisa C. Hamilton   May 14th, 2010 1:22 pm ET

I enjoyed watching Larry's interview with rapper/actor T.I. It was interesting, provocative, and sometimes amusing. I appreciate the fact that Larry often interviews people you don't tend to see on the typical news program.

T.I. seems to have learned his lesson. I hope he will continue to stay on the straight and narrow path. He's also really handsome.

Nana Brown   May 14th, 2010 1:57 pm ET

Why is Larry King and the media in general giving such people so much air time starting from canvasing for Laura's book. Laura's husband has ruined United States single handed for generations to come,Trump the sleaze and now the rapper !
We the American taxpayers have to be picking up the bills for generations to come. No wonder our homes are foreclosing our economy is drowning and our seas is filling up with gasoline .... but the media is not reporting what truly matters to us the American general public.

gerald Jolly   May 14th, 2010 4:35 pm ET

The photo attached to this blog says it all.

PHONY AS PHONY CAN BE.

Justin Bear   May 15th, 2010 5:28 am ET

Why don't they get all of them treasure hunting boats that blow up the sand. And have them keep them cumtain the spill? All that air pressure can at least keep it at one spot for a while?

Justin Bear   May 15th, 2010 5:30 am ET

and who cares about t.i. about a time crises about this?

Donna Iluvit   May 15th, 2010 6:15 pm ET

Is it truly possible for you to have even a tenth of the deepest realization of the power through influence you have over an enitre genration, and beyond? Its incredible for lack of better words, the possibilities and opportunitites that you and only you can bring to this crazy messed up world, and you've shown that you already have that path laid out before you, and only from our darkest, struggles, can YOU comprehend how to utilize all gifts that come our way, for it is only the chosen few of us that have survived and endured catastrophic events, that make spectacular come backs, armed a million times better then ever could have without surviving. What doesnt kill us, truly does make us stronger, and darlin, you are at your moment of momentum that wont stop til you do. Thank you from my deepest spirit and heart for being such a fantastic role model to my own son, and everyone else in this world. Anything you ever need just hollar back ya hear. Congrats cuz! Your Angel In Disguise.

Matt D. R. Spence   May 15th, 2010 6:21 pm ET

Do you feel that your peer's insofar as music artist's should be held accountable for a more responsible, ethical and moral influence for that which the quality of music that truly influence all, moreover our youth? Personally, respect and gratitude for the influence you have had over my life, made my turbulant past few years alot less harsh, and helped me overcome unimaginable odds.

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   May 15th, 2010 7:49 pm ET

I am not really up with TI's music. I know Tupac's, I'm a bit older in my 50s but young at heart I suppose. I will go on Youtube and try get acquainted with it. But I think, yes, this music can have an influence on the youth. Especially the gangster type I think.

Another thing is, If he is going to continue to mentor those youth, is he going to mentor them about VIOLENCE, guns, etc., etc.........and walk the talk himself.

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   May 15th, 2010 8:35 pm ET

@ All

Lay down the guns and weapons..........don't go there please! Thank you!

Janay Beamer   May 15th, 2010 9:06 pm ET

What was the meanest thing Tiny's ever said to you?

Robert Davis   May 15th, 2010 9:10 pm ET

Did money and celebrity play a role in such a light sentence? Would I only serve a year sentence for the same crimes?

Michelle   May 15th, 2010 9:11 pm ET

T. I. I love your music. My whole family listens to you. I am glad that you are making music again. I just wanted to ask, are you going to make a song with Slaughter House and how can I get my hands on the song you made with Fallout Boy?

Matt   May 15th, 2010 9:13 pm ET

Larry and T.I., so you know, buying fully automatic weapons and suppressors are legal to buy depending on what state you live in. To buy you need to pay a special tax and apply through your local chief of police who will give the thumbs up or down.

TI, did you research any laws before buying the fully automatic weapons and suppressors?

Leslie, Ottawa, ON Canada   May 15th, 2010 9:14 pm ET

Weren't you ever worried that any one of your children that live with you, would come across all the guns you had stored in your house and that they would try to play with them??

Adam   May 15th, 2010 9:16 pm ET

9 months seems like a very lite sentence for the crime. Did you snitch on someone?

Jacob   May 15th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

TI, even though the beef between you and Lil Flip has ended, will we ever see 2 great artists ever do a song together?

Tyler   May 15th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

Hey T.I., I'm a big fan! I just wanted to know what was it like in such an atmosphere as jail, and what were your thoughts when that cell door closed behind you?

Samyra Rehman   May 15th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

Whats your favourite colour, food, and movie?

ps: I LOVE YOU!!! xoxo

Ericka D   May 15th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

Welcome back. Everyone has been anticipating your return and I am very excited to hear your next album or perhaps mixtape. Just one thing...when are you going to finally marry your long time love..tiny? shes been so down with you!

Antonio   May 15th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

Hi T.I I have the most up respect for you, Antonio form Little Rock Arkansas. Peace out and God speed

John   May 15th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

If you were shot and killed by someone, would you want to be remembered as someone who died while holding a gun or someone who died while not holding a gun – the latter setting an example as to the violence associated with owning a weapon?

Roger Homeier   May 15th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

If T.I. had been a normal citizen...not one in the limelight....how much time would someone else have been given...I mean...is this just not another case of how the system can be bought? How is this liberty and justice for all?

brittany nicole   May 15th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

i love your music and you =)

Donna Iluvit   May 15th, 2010 9:23 pm ET

Your at the TOP Mr. Harris, in the position to lead all others in the right direction, to teach what you now preach. Everyone has a past they wish didnt occur, but all that is irrelevant except for those lessons that teach us the most important lessons, so my question is, do you feel that you will now teach the lessons you unfortunately had to learn, in order to hopefully prevent anyone else from the same, which by the way, and with no disrespect intended, having your best friend shot and murdered, holding him while he died in your arms, had to have distorted your real heart and spirit in the first place, because I think that if I had been you, losing my best mate last year, I surely would have made worse choices then you did. The only concern I have is were any of your arsenal accessible to anyone else, moreover your children. I believe you had guns in your car, house, etc,. that not all were secured in the safe, where they should have been, which was the crime I would truly punish you for. That being said, I cant judge you, nor any other til I can walk in his shoes, and since thats impossible, I shall not judge, after all Im just as imperfect as you and all our brothers and sisters. Im proud of all the changes and positive movement you alone have created for that of yourself, your family, friends, and every other person touched by you. PEACE. Thank you for all you have already done, but am overwhelmed at the ideas and possibilities of what your gonna leave this world with, some mighty big shoes to fill, certainly a legacy for your children. Respect, Hollarback @ us if you ever in need. Donna & Family

Sam   May 15th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

john cancel   May 15th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

larry can you ask ti how he feels about rapper dollas death

Debbie C.   May 15th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

Will you go back to doing the community work you did with the troubled teens? You made a very big and positive impact on my son, white suburban teenage boy, with all the positive you were doing and how you were doing it. Showing what you experienced and how you gave me to share lessons was phenomenal. I, as a mother, hope you will do a show like that again....just because YOU WANT TO.

Dennis   May 15th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

Please ask T.I. if he is familiar with Y-CAP (YMCA Community Action Program). It is a YMCA outreach program that focuses on redirecting the behavior of At Risk Youth. Is he interested in being a spokesperson for the program or otherwise volunteering?

t.i lover   May 15th, 2010 9:34 pm ET

i just want to say I LOVE YOU and im glad your back !
my question is :
what were some challages coming out of persion.
and how did your family react when they found out you where going to jail.

Daniel   May 15th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

T.I.,

Has your relationship with God changed since being in prison?

William carpenter   May 15th, 2010 9:36 pm ET

Ask T.I.,

Is it just a reason to live a fake image the reason he hold onto weapons? How does he expect to reach these kids if he's getting incarcerated for the same actions these children are doing?

Cody   May 15th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

Did anyone persude you to buy the weapons or did you just feel like it?

Anthony, Ben, Brad   May 15th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

Hey Larry,

We are big fans of the show from Cornell University. T.I. mentioned he was more beneficial to the community outside of prison. We really enjoyed his t.v. series that aired on MTV before he went to prison when he intervened in the lives of troubled youth. We were wondering what else he has planned moving forward to positively impact the lives of children throughout the country.

Thanks.

Govt plot   May 15th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

Do you think the government had a hand in your assasination attempt? it is said that Tupac was set up and the biggie small murder were all orchestrated at that level.....

david john   May 15th, 2010 9:41 pm ET

diane   May 15th, 2010 9:43 pm ET

T.I.
You have been a role model for my nepheto your mu. He even got me to listen to your music, which I have to say is awwsome. And that is coming from a grandmother. Not until you told your story and watch your show did he turn around. I can only hope he follows and turns out to be a MAN like you are. Not to mention you have so much to offer so many people. God bless.

Kojo   May 15th, 2010 9:43 pm ET

I am watching the show with my family and we are completely wowed by his intelligence and eloquence. What I want to ask is what he did to educate himself so much since I am sure he did go to college or probably finish high school; I think it will be inspiring for some youth to know.

Clarissa   May 15th, 2010 9:45 pm ET

TI,
I'm just wondering do you think you will be a better rapper after this experience?

Michael Armstrong Sr.   May 15th, 2010 9:45 pm ET

Dont go back you have done enough damage .

Alisha Nicole   May 15th, 2010 9:45 pm ET

Lakeishia obannon   May 15th, 2010 9:46 pm ET

Matthew Ross   May 15th, 2010 9:47 pm ET

Hey Larry, may you ask T.I. on his new hit singles, Im Back, who was he talking about on that song. Thanks!

Marcus L Buckley   May 15th, 2010 9:48 pm ET

Now that you did your time how far will you move on from this?

eric davis   May 15th, 2010 9:50 pm ET

I want 2 know if another rapper/individual come at you the wrong way(sideways)....how would u handle that situation now...opposed to before u went to jail.

TWANDA PROFIT   May 15th, 2010 9:52 pm ET

I love u n your music so much

D'Ante   May 15th, 2010 9:52 pm ET

My question is, if you had not been a celebrity, and did not have the fame or the money, do you think you would have gotten off as easy as you did with your sentencing, especially already being a convicted felon?

brittany nicole   May 15th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

i also want to say i am one of your biggest fans and i wish i could find the contact number so i could call in

Rosie805   May 15th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

Hey T.I, I'm curious About How are you going to take on your music, how your going to take a diffrent approach to a diffrent crowd THROUGH your musik??, Also are any of your kids going to take an appearence in any of your tracks??? that would be sweet.!

rae   May 15th, 2010 9:58 pm ET

T.I keep ya head up....i think alot of rappers should continue to support our troops overseas...its a good stress relief to see ya favorite rapper on stage...it helps alot

brittany nicole   May 15th, 2010 10:02 pm ET

Rachel   May 15th, 2010 10:05 pm ET

I think you are the sexiest singer....I would love to know when &where you are comen to Virginia????

donna   May 15th, 2010 10:23 pm ET

Columbus, Ga T.I. I have so many people come up to me and say how my son look like you. I did not know of you. So I ask my daughter to show me a picture of you on a cd. When I saw the cd, you do look a lot like him. I heard you songs and like them especially the one by Justin Timberlake. My son had one time told me that the rappers song or not all about shooting and killing. When I heard that song I could really relate to what you was saying and also it stems back to things I had told my children before. With you being in there age group I thank you for getting a point across that I was not sure if they understood what I was trying to teach them...

Law Student   May 15th, 2010 10:54 pm ET

Larry, that was a great interview! I'd like to know what's in the near future for T.I.?

Trixii Badd   May 15th, 2010 11:05 pm ET

When and how did you know that Tiny was the absolute one for you?

Warren   May 16th, 2010 12:12 am ET

Since you are out of prison do you feel as though you need to change the lyrics in your music so that the influence of the music does not perpetuate the cycle of senseless violence? Also do you feel as though you are using your backgound and childhood as a scapegoat for your ridiculous behavior? There are many people from the ghetto that do not get arrested for carrying guns when they are a multi-millionaires.

keira   May 16th, 2010 12:16 am ET

1st i wanna say im sooo happy ur out an did yuu write anysongs while yuu were in there..?? LOVE YUU...!! <3

Michael McWhorter   May 16th, 2010 12:27 am ET

gabriella and haley   May 16th, 2010 12:28 am ET

why did you decide to do drugs? did you think it was really worth it?

Louis Landerer   May 16th, 2010 12:28 am ET

Does T.I. still plan on using his story to help troubled teens after his sentencing is up?

jen   May 16th, 2010 12:30 am ET

t.i. – I am an unlikely fan, I don't like rap music but you are the most talented artist and I am thankful for your influence with young at risk people. Does negativity of others get to you? If so it doesn't show! Thank you for staying classy.

Jarrett Culmer   May 16th, 2010 12:31 am ET

Hey T.I., How did the time in jail affect your social life.

Jared Williams   May 16th, 2010 12:33 am ET

Hello, my name is Jared. I would like to ask T.I. something about getting out of prison. T.I does this event, of going to prison, change the way you see life now? Also does this inspire you to become a better person and help inspire younger teenagers to stay away from some of the things you have been through? Are you also inspired to come up with a new album of what you have been through and the hardships of going to prison to do time?

Nicky   May 16th, 2010 12:34 am ET

I am wondering if he knew his life was in danger why he did not hire an army to guard him and let them get weapons to protect him the legal way? Surely he could afford a team of body guards to arm him without breaking the law.

gabriella and haley   May 16th, 2010 12:36 am ET

how old is your kid? in your song u said u lost a daughter what did you mean by that did you really?

lauren   May 16th, 2010 12:37 am ET

adrian wright   May 16th, 2010 12:37 am ET

i love u TI....way from augusta,ga

Iwannabethechange   May 16th, 2010 12:38 am ET

Hello T.I., I was wondering how this has changed your life?
Your audience respects you as a rapper who stays with one girl and continues to flourish in the music business.

Tori_utah;;   May 16th, 2010 12:38 am ET

hello larry king && of course T.i;;
Do you have any beef with any rappers??

Charles   May 16th, 2010 12:41 am ET

Giving GOD THE GLORY, & being humbled in your presence, & blessed to have this opportunity. T.I. your testimony will echo thru the ages. In faith your success and talents will continue to be fruitful and multiply for you and especially for your family.

My question does not pertain to what you went thru, that is the past & really that does not need to concentrate focused energy on the things that negatively affected your past. Do you or will you help people who have projects and ideas with business plans that promote cultures, rated "next" artists, as well as mainstream artist like yourself?

Lorraine Garcia   May 16th, 2010 12:41 am ET

Were you concerned about your family while you were away?

Candace   May 16th, 2010 12:43 am ET

Will you be on tour in ohio anytime soon?

Keyshia Johnson   May 16th, 2010 12:44 am ET

First I want to say I have so much respect for you for owning up to what you did and facing the consequences like a REAL man. My question is what do you say to those who think differently about the way you went about dealing with your situation?

T   May 16th, 2010 12:45 am ET

As a native of cincinnati just wanna let you know we don't support what those losers did. Those guys were known for being habitual haters and I know you wish people would stop asking you about those suckas so you can move on and stop giving them any publicity. Love you and Tiny her since xscape and you since day 1.

Wanda Dotson   May 16th, 2010 12:48 am ET

I am a big big big fan. You are looking real good . Keep doing what you doing , Shake them haters off. Tell Tiny What"s Up . Love U.

dee   May 16th, 2010 12:49 am ET

Ti...how do you feel about the rap game now from the past? Do you think most display more of a cartoon character of an artist than a real artist?

Rhonda Shelton   May 16th, 2010 12:49 am ET

I wanted to know why he wrote that song. The way that you wanted
form off the CD T I Home coming, You said some very mean things
about Tiny.

Ti...for an artist up and coming..what would be the best software to do recordings on?

Fonz   May 16th, 2010 12:57 am ET

Wut up TIP. Hey bruh, I have been on a mission to bring positivity to any and everyone I encounter. I have spoke to folks about starting a charity for felons that cant find work and that is one of my life time goals. I had a situation where I was brought up on a variety of chargesa two years ago and am just now going through the process of conviction. Now more than ever I want to help those caught up in the struggle and influence the youth so that they may be able to avoid the temptation of the fast lane. Im facing 1.5 to 2.5 years and will be sentenced on the 14th of June. I will not let this experience kill my spirit. Any words of advice? If you can help or know someone who can help me get this charity off the ground, PLEASE, send some love. THANKS FOR THE MUSIC. It has kept me goin through this tough time. Long live the KING!!

T-Rich   May 16th, 2010 12:59 am ET

Hello Larrry,

I am truly a fan! Watching your show for years! You keep it real!
T.I. I truly love you and Tiny prayed for you and your family everynight!
My question to you is, What do you say to the single mothers out there? I am a single mother with three boys! What do you think you lacked or missed growing up to keep you from making that $50 that day.
Thank you

laura bruce   May 16th, 2010 1:01 am ET

i love clifford 'tip ' harris i do reports on you for school how would you explain your life storie to young children like your telling them to not to do drugs or dont sell drug how can you tell them that when your still doing it. or how did you feel when you was behind bars and your kids sit at home looking for wonderning whats going on do you keep it up front like tell them what really happens at the point it startes

Portia   May 16th, 2010 1:07 am ET

You seem to flow very easy with this transition from prison to speaking to youth..... Why? what do you contribute this to. P.S I enjoy your song You can have whatever you like and Tiny,s show. Much Love

Pasy   May 16th, 2010 1:08 am ET

I enjoyed the show. Larry King had some hard core questions but they had to be asked in order for T.I to give these inspiring responses.

Shirley G   May 16th, 2010 1:26 am ET

I just finish watching T.I. on your show, He has always been interesting to me. I live in Cincinnati Ohio, I had the pleasure of talking with T.I. when he was in Cincinnati , I was a employee working at the Millennium Hotel where he was staying the night of the shooting on the expressway. In our conversation I asked T.I. were he was performing? he say to me the Ritz, I said to him be careful, I said the area is not bad but it brings trouble, I told one of the hotel security guys that I had spoken to T.I. and mention to him what I said to T.I. about being careful. The security guy called me around 3:30am telling me what had happen on the expressway, I was just disgusted with the whole thing. When T. I. was busted trying to buy protection for himself, I understood! I had been a fan of his since he first came out. I watched all the shows T.I. Road To Redemption. I been waiting for you to come home as much as Tiny. Welcome Home T.I. Welcome Home!

Patty Lambert   May 16th, 2010 1:31 am ET

TI your a wonderful young man, You show me that theres hope for young people, Your an excellent role model!! I hope i have the oppertunity to meet you someday!! Keep up the GOOD Work!! Sincerely, Patty (NH)

Random viewer   May 16th, 2010 3:25 am ET

Why does Larry always gotta be a dick???

(stand by uncomfortable silence)

scott hagues   May 16th, 2010 3:41 am ET

I was listening to the story while running on the treadmill at work.
I think that this is a story of guy who rose above the surroundings and can make a huge impact on peoples lives in a great way..especially kids who really need a father figure and mentor.

Steven Stack   May 16th, 2010 3:45 am ET

What is it like to have so many problems with publicity due to paparazzi and what is your view on how to best resolve them?
By the way regarding the comment earlier about 2pac's death, I hope you can stay safe because one life lost is enough no one deserves to die.

scott hagues   May 16th, 2010 3:47 am ET

t.i. Its great we do humanitarian efforts in the military in other countries but its great there is a person here that can make a difference with our own kids.
-What do you think of the blind side story? I watched the movie and that was a huge inspiration for me. I hope someday I can make a huge difference with kids here and throughout the world myself.

frank benjamin jr.   May 16th, 2010 3:47 am ET

Ti , I really think that some folk in society really understand where you come from or speakin plainly how you grew up. In our society some of the things we do are pretty much accepted and not looked on as too bad because in our society we have hoods with shootings, killings, rape, and in some communities, more poverty than some third world countries. What I mean is we have a lot of robinhoods in the ghettos who are those that grow up there and are dealt a bad hand and do as they say "get it how we live it" mean they sell drugs and by doin so they have to protect themselves by carrying weapons. That doesn't necesarilly mean that the individual is a bad person he is just playin the hand he is dealt, but everyone knows him or her because they were raised by the hood.I can relate to you letting larry know it was just a situation you were put in so therefore you had to react to the situation where some may say that's not good but they aren't the ones that will hurt if you would have died that night in cincinatti, it would have been your children and family.therefore. Tip, don't let them haters get you and keep up the good work. You are a modern day robinhood that made it out the hood and if you would have lived your life any different there would not be a Tip or a "booga'loo".

dave carothers   May 16th, 2010 3:52 am ET

I truly don't believe this. T I makes himself out to be a hero to our children? When asked by the grade schoolers whether he is still a ganster his reply is " I'm retired". Retirement is something that we teach our children is a benefit from working hard. Apparently retirement is a benefit of a gangster lifestyle. What a message gift our children with.

scott hagues   May 16th, 2010 4:00 am ET

Just watched the Micheal Jacksonn funeral. Wow, his daughter – My heart goes out to her so much when she speaks for him at the funeral. What a sweet girl.

Kayla   May 16th, 2010 5:30 am ET

Hi, i was just wondering if you regret everything that ever happened to you? I know that people say that "things happen for a reason" and "if bad things didnt happen we would never learn to do the right stuff." So, do you regret everything that happened?

Rowland   May 16th, 2010 5:42 am ET

The impacts of early experiences may have placed 'clumped post-traumatic stresses' on T.I and he reacted in line with his 'perceived reality'.Maybe the moment of confinement has really made him come to terms with 'actual reality'.May his 'healing' stay!

RON VESTAL   May 16th, 2010 5:43 am ET

WHAT DOES T.I THINK ABOUT LIL WAYNE GOING TO PRISON FOR GUN/DRUG CHARGES? ARE THE COPS OUT TO GET YOU ARTIST FOR CHARGES LIKE THIS? SEEMS LIKE EVERY RAPPER HAS HAD SOME TYPE OF GUN CHARGE!!!

Mariangeles Cuozzo   May 16th, 2010 5:51 am ET

Congratulations and welcome back. Kids need more mentors like you. Keep up your belief in God, He will always protect you and now you have a mission to tell your story and show others they can change too. We all make mistakes, but we must learn from them. God bless you and those you love. A fan from now on, Marie from Miami, FL

Kenny rhodin   May 16th, 2010 6:18 am ET

Hi,
At times quite a few non US citizens view Larry King from time
to time it apperas the more odd or ackward story to tell then
it will be granted to come up on Larry King show.
One may easily think released prisoner/s have priority yet that
e.g the rapper T.I had indeed very little things to tell an broader
public at the same time that for some weeks ago a female had
an hourlong show teeling the audience the number of broken
relationsships she had with men and the number of lovers etc.
In a way these things seems to be top priority and certainly
Gloryfied since showed over and over again.
On and off the individuals participating in the shows seems to
be quite odd, strange, people and one may wonder why and on
for reasons these participants have been selected..... when all
it takes aperas to be to buy a load of firearms, use drugs, doing
time in a jail to be granted to be seen on TV, for an hour.

While ordinary, common youngsters, people may wonder is
that the way to gain, maintain, popularity on TV etc.

Just an thought, opinion.

Kenny,

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   May 16th, 2010 6:46 am ET

@
The gun laws need to be changed. Allowing the average Joe Blog to possess an automatic etc., is just madness and asking for trouble, in my opinion. REAP WHAT YOU SOW! (biblical saying)

JR*   May 16th, 2010 8:10 am ET

I'm glad T.I. is out. He's showed progress throughout his career.. (except TI vs TIP) I'm going off content , not sales!!.... Plus he's in the top 5 best rappers right now. LiL Wayne is the best nonsense rapper EVER but TIP bring a realness to rap music. I'm tired of hearing drake half ass singing.. I'm tired of guys going to far left thinking their going to open a new branch of rap music. TI is back... And this is going to fuel whats already a spreading fire of downsouth music. Who gonna mess with the south? we got Jay Electronica, TI, Luda, Jeezy, Weezy, Bun B, B.o.B. (best new artist)... We got everybody jealous at the moment. Shout out to Mississippi

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   May 16th, 2010 8:44 am ET

Well I just saw TI's song on Youtube called "I'm Back".........and just the first one or two lines was all I could take, I'm sorry. I found it quite scary. Not really a fan of some rap.

Bird Horse   May 16th, 2010 9:38 am ET

Good to see you home T.I.P, I was gonna ask you for money jk, but instead could you give a shout out to all the Native Americans that buy your muzik? It truly be an honor. Thanks.

L1L ab   May 16th, 2010 12:20 pm ET

Im inspired by TiP since i watch him on your show much love stay positive.focused,1 luv ya boi Lil ab .

gerald Jolly   May 16th, 2010 12:25 pm ET

A drug addicted "GUN TOTTING PUNK RAPPER"

And every body loves him.

No wonder our society is in decay.

GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Angel   May 16th, 2010 1:24 pm ET

Dear Clifford Harris, aka T.I.;
I need to tell you how impressed, and proud I am of the differences you have made in so many lives, just by making them in your own, and I thank you so sincerely from the bottom of my heart, as you have positively affected my life and many of my loveed ones.
Your more than an entertainer now, whether that be by choice or not, you are now a leader with a message, that already have made monsterous sized changes all over the world, of which is now seemingly yours to lead. I pray you keep safe and strong, and that you never divert from the brilliant life you now lead. Bravo!!! Mad respect and luv to you and yours!

gerald Jolly   May 16th, 2010 3:24 pm ET

Is it any wonder why the rest of the world reviles we Americans.

Making a Hero or praising a very disfunctional person, lets the world know that American VALUES and MORALS just dont exist anymore.

Shame on everyone of you that would glorify and praise a CRAVEN, DRUG USING, CRIMINAL

Your Hero maybe, but certainly not mine.

I HAVE MORALS AND SCRUPLES.

Serena B   May 16th, 2010 4:27 pm ET

I am so glad that you are back you are such an amazing person and such an inspiration! Welcome back T.I. the game aint nothin without you! And on top of that you are a very fine young black male..tiny is a very very lucky woman and im sure she knows this lol hopefully i will get a chance to meet u someday!

Nikki L.   May 16th, 2010 5:44 pm ET

TI, let me just start out by saying, I love you. Everything from your music, to your dedication to the youth out there. It seems like the only thing other artist care about is flashing their wealth to kids, but then there's you....who is there to let all of them know that there are other ways to be wealthy, and that's by keeping those heads in the books.I think you give a lot of hope to a lot of young males out there today, that it isnt too late to turn your life around. I thank you for being such a positive role model to these kids. By the way, you are also a role model to these older men to, you show them how to be a man, and step up and take care of home. I commend you, God bless you and your lovely family and much continued success to you.

gerald Jolly   May 16th, 2010 6:04 pm ET

Shame on every person that would glorify T.I.

Shame on every person who is not aware enough that T.I. is a con man just out to make fools of all those that are to dense to see through his charade of lies.

That sarcastic smile that you are looking at the top of this blog is just that sarcasam

If you fall for the B.S. I feel so sorry for your lack of intelligence.

sailey cham   May 16th, 2010 6:30 pm ET

hi ,i am sailey origenated in gambia west africa and i live in houston tx.i heard u coming in houston i want to met u i am one of your best fan evere.i am so happy now u can see ur family.#7135840195 that s my nomber.

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   May 17th, 2010 2:20 am ET

You go Gerald Jolly!

Leone   May 18th, 2010 1:34 am ET

T.I.
i've always been a fan of your music and i admire how you present yourself, you were always different from other rappers. And even though you went through this really rough time in your life, with your close friend passing away and your life being in danger, you made good out of it, with your road to redemption and other community service things, and it makes me proud of you and i appreciate you for your positivity through all of this. you truly are my role model. and im sorry for those who don't understand you and can't respect the good that you've done.

as to Gerald Jolly –
People who glorify T.I. do not lack intelligence. they know good when they see it. if T.I. was a con man (which he definitely isn't), he's doing good for the nation, with his charity work and positive messages, and you CAN't fake that. So i am sorry that you are a cynical man that hates for no reason.
and what sarcastic smile ? thats a smile of a man who is content with the good he has done.
and if america's morals has decayed, the only ones to blame are people like You. what have you done to promote responsibility ? positivity ? strength ? and other Values and Morals that T.I. has !! you're nothing but a full blown HATER.
so please ; don't hate, appreciate =]
