Ricky Gervais to host Golden Globes - again

Posted: 11:24 AM ET

Get ready for another round of jokes from Ricky Gervais. The British funnyman will take on hosting duties at the Golden Globes in 2011, his second year in a row as the show's emcee.

Gervais broke the news on Ryan Seacrest's 102.7 KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday morning, admitting he was shocked to find out that he was invited back to helm the awards show.

"I suppose it is flattering, to be honest, and it was a surprise," Gervais, 48, told Seacrest. "I had so much fun [last year]."

The comedian, who, during the 2010 ceremony, cracked some jokes "thinking I'd never be invited back," says he's taking a different approach to his hosting duties this year.

Hi Larry,
the heat wave of hate that I now see fanning out against immigrants from those of us Americans who themselves sought sanctuary in this country is disturbing. I sure hope Rick touches on this subject too during Golden Globe, to lighten up the climate.
This legislation, based on pure malice towards immigrants goes to reveal the biases of color & creed carved deeply into our psyche. This phenomenon of racism, our lust for wars, the emergence of ideologues & Christian religious demagogues, militias, other fringe movements do no abode well for our blessed US of A.
Feeding this maelstrom are the lobbies & those politicians holding 'dual loyalty' and media travesties like the Fox propaganda channel, who thrive on fear & hate to further their agenda.
Time,Americans to wrest our country back from them.

Subject: Again, and again, What's legal about illegal?

"Misguided and irresponsible" is how Arizona's new law pertaining to illegal immigration is characterized by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She represents San Francisco, which calls itself a "sanctuary city," 'an exercise in exhibitionism that means it will be essentially uncooperative regarding enforcement of immigration laws'.(As reported by the NY Times).

Now I believe the majority of Americans know she is definitely one of the "LEFT WINGNUTS", and knowing California is probably one of the worse border states embracing the illegal immigrants!...What's legal about illegal?

Then, Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican, Plays "Hero" and jump onto the "Bandwagon", about enforcing the mandated illegal immigration laws to deport all the illegal's. (which I do agree with, but, where was he during the eight years of the Bush administration?)...... What was legal about illegal then?......So now we can define the "RIGHT WINGNUTS"

And another, Senator McCain, of Arizona who claimed to be the last line of defense of the state of Arizona was going to take care of the "Borders" too, I then ask, where was he during the BUSH administration!...Was the illegal's, legal then?

Soooo, is all this suddenly President Obama's fault?...No...BUT, I also don't go along with his proposed plan to give some, or all these illegal immigrants "Amnesty" either!...What's legal about illegal?

It goes without saying, I believe the illegal's are maybe too much embedded with ALL the politicians, looking for the Hispanic votes, and afraid they may turn on them......

That being said, I believe the majority of Americans, including myself, says; Deport all illegal's, establish control on all our Borders, Heavily fine the ones who hire, hide, or put them in their sanctuary. Then allow so many to come into this country to be documented, and let become a citizen, and through the proper channels, as those of ours who have come before them.
