Funny, Trump is a business man, not a politician and he hit the nail on the head multiple times, on issues that are not being addressed that are the largest contributing factor to our recent recession. Millions of jobs being done my illegal immigrants are jobs taken away from our citizens, plus, its money being accumilated that the govt. cant tax.

But the as Trump said, the huge influx of out-sourcing, particularly to China, is the biggest contributor to weakening the worth of the dollar in the global market. US companies move factories over there for the cheaper labor. That means all of the money they collect for their industry, all of it, except for the miniscule taxes importing the merchandise, and what the Hirearchy in that company spend in the US. Everything else is invested in China. So we have a huge influx of money going to china, with our govt forced to borrow money from china, so the difference in monetary wealth between us and China is expanding exponentially. Except the US is the one lagging behind now. If nothing is done soon, another recession/depression is guaranteed to happen, but this time we will most likely not be able to fix the problem as fast as we did this last one.

Larry: Thank you for a great interview with the Trumps. This interview will be an all-time favorite. Karen Campbell

This is what cracks me up about Trump and Melania pushing her cheap jewelry line. Trump goes on last night about how we need to create more jobs in the US and not be outsourcing to China and other countries which I totally agree with. Then Melania starts pushing her new jewelry line saying that all of these pieces are under $200. I immediately thought, if it's so cheap, it's definitely not being made in the US so I had to research it. I went on QVC today and just as I suspected, her pieces are made - drumroll please-IN CHINA!!!! I think The Donald needs to be careful what he says next time. If he really believes that, then his wife shouldn't be supporting more employment in China!

No matter who interviews Donald he is always asked about Tiger.

His response "Tiger is a great guy." Really?

I wonder how Donald would feel if Ivanka had married Tiger & he had cheated on her with 17 women...& counting. Would 'The Donald' still think Tiger was such a great guy? I think not. He may be a great athlete but he is 'a disgraceful guy'.

Donald Trump is brilliant! If every parent followed by Mr. Trumps example, the world would be a better place for the next generation and they would stand a chance of living healthy, productive and happy lives. The clip of Mr. Trump sending his 4 year old son, Baron, off to school and telling him "No Drugs, Alcohol or Cigarettes" was inspiring. And to watch Baron absorb what his Dad was telling him was heart-warming. It should be aired on every station as a PSA. Being President of the United States is not the most important job – being a great father is. Donald Trump scores huge points as Father of the Year in my book!

Donald Trump should have said that his wifes jewelry is being made in China., especially after he told Lary King that we are losing industry to China. Maybe he should practice what he preaches.

@ Xinlaw.

We owe China over a trillion dollars now
Most of the money was borrowed to fight phony orchestrated wars
A very small amount of the borrowed money was to finance production plants in China that have been contracted by American GREEDY businesses to manufacture products that were traditional made in the U.S. "PARTICULARLY THE GARMENT INDUSTRY"
There is not "ONE" low cost jewelry manufacturer in the U.S. only the very small MAMA and POPPA still exist.
Tires, Batteries, T.V.'s, Household appliances, all bearing traditional American Brand Names, all produced in China under licensing agreements.
Within one to two years you're going to see an explosion of low cost Chinese made automobiles in the U.S.

The problem with most bloggers on these blogs is that they wish to pass blame on China, rather than place the blame on the real culprits, "THE AMERICAN GREEDY BUSINESS MAN." where it belongs.

Case in point "WAL-MART" a completely 100% owned American company, that sells 95% of the products they advertise, all MADE IN CHINA, and in many cases they have cancelled orders from American companies and sent the design to China

Case in point, The average chinese worker earns 2000 Yuan a month, roughly $300 dollars, and lives quite well on that earning.

As for "THE DONALD" not too long ago when he was questioned about how he was able to become so wealthy, and he answered, 80% of my wealth happened because I was in the right place at the right time,

So do not give credit where it is not deserved.

Case in point, last night while promoting his wife's cheap jewelry line, on the LKL show, he critisized the chinese, but never said a single word that the jewelry she is promoting is 100% made in China.

Soryy, but you cant have it both ways

I think the one significant point to make is the Chinese way of doing business in America.

Quote" Either you buy our products or we will kill all of you, and wont lend you anymore monie to fight you illegal wars.

By the way, while young American were dying in Vietnam, and the middle east, "THE DONALD" was avoiding service in our Military.

Good deal Hu!

I'll keep making monie while the lowly person continue to die to keep me safe.

That's good business "RIGHT"????

I see nothing wrong with Racial or Culture profiling when the majority of people flooding into our country illegally, are one culture!! Pouring into this land, bringing crime and drugs, etc. with them! Oh, I guess that's OK with the liberal viewpoint?? Well, our U.S. Constitution Ammendment Rights DON'T apply to illegal immigrants. Understand that YET AL Sharpton?!! Wake up!! I believe in STATES RIGHTS.......NOT FEDERAL CONTROL......COMMUNISM!!! Oh, yes it

I was a fan of Donald's but I was incredibly disappointed to see him attack China for manufacturing most US goods and for lending money to the US, when Donald Trump himself manufactures his line of neck ties in China. It was incredibly hypocritical and disheartening to see him once again throw stones at China, yet use their cheap labor to his financial gain by manufacturing his clothing line there.

When you buy a car that doesn’t work it’s a “Lemon.”

When American doesn’t work “It’s the greatest country in the World.”

Plus Borak Obama is something else and Donald Trump likes Bret Michael

Arizona Citizen   April 29th, 2010 6:13 pm ET

I appreciate the fact that Donald and his wife understood the situation in Arizona and disapproved of the boycott threats. They both endorsed the new law.

MourningMJ   April 29th, 2010 6:50 pm ET

Bret Michaels-

Wishing and sending you much love and prayers to you and your family.... And a very healthy recovery... God Bless you.

Luis Teixeira   April 29th, 2010 6:57 pm ET

what thinks Donald Trump about the Arizona legislation.??...

mary u from ohio   April 29th, 2010 7:02 pm ET

Bret is still alive.. everyone loves Bret
Loved is use in passed tense as if he was gone..

Wilkie   April 29th, 2010 7:03 pm ET

I am interested in Trump's suspect assumption to credit Bret Micheal's spectacular and devastating brain injury to Bret's mishap at the Awards show that brought a wooden banner down too soon. As a T1D (btw, we are Type 1 Diabetics-NOT general diabetics!), I see Trump trying fo place blame elseware for Bret's injury.
My points:
FEW people realize that a T1D is a serious life-long disease that is DIFFERENT from type2 diabetes(which is only used to raise money);

Brain disorders are also more prevelant in T1D people. Do the research!!! Tell the truth!!!

Larry, your interviews are always very impressive, and this interview with the Trumps was no exception. I was glued to the TV the whole time. This interview, the interview with Seth McFarlane, and the interview with Steve Irwin are definitely some of my favorites. However, you always do a good job of taking celebrities who are normally exploited by the tabloids as being superior to the rest of society, and then you deescalate that image by exposing their human nature, which brings them down to the same level as the middle and lower class members of society. It's nice because it helps us relate their their opinions and to their experiences.

Mr. Trump is a very brilliant individual, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. The one quality that I respect the most in Mr. Trump is his integrity. To me that is a very strong leadership characteristic. I have a lot of role models in business management who I respect, and he is by far top of the list. Thank you for that very inspiring interview.

gerald Jolly   April 30th, 2010 8:52 am ET

THE DONALD, needs to stop the lies.

It's not true that everybody, loved Bret Michaels.

The many young ladies that Bret demmened, insulted, degraded, and abused HATE HIM.

So why is THE DONALD telling these lies.

gerald Jolly   April 30th, 2010 8:58 am ET

@ Cindy, great piece, and so completely accurate.

As people always say.

Because THE DONALD has such a high opinion of himself, he thinks he is above CRITISISM, but he's not.
