I find it difficult to understand why CNN would waste an hour of Larry King Live on Trump and his spoiled girl with all of the important events that are going on in the world now. I would much rather be hearing about just what BP in doing about that deadly mess off the coast of Louisiana.

Joe G. (Illinois)   April 28th, 2010 7:31 pm ET

“Time is money.”

And some people would stake their lives on it.

But the “House always wins.”

And the value of a good education... “Priceless”

lola   April 28th, 2010 7:55 pm ET

I could not care less about this topic.....What a waste of time and resources. Shame on you, Larry!

Smith in Oregon   April 28th, 2010 8:02 pm ET

Elin Woods, Sandra Bullock made the right decision. It appears 2010 will be the year of the standard celebrity divorces which Donald Trump knows well about.

Perhaps Larry King, you can get Donald Trump to advise Elin Woods on how to get as many Hundreds of Millions of Tiger Wood's net worth as possible?

At least Sandra Bullock had a pre-nupt which cuts out Jessie James and she didn't fall into the adopting his children so she won't be extorted for millions in child support.

Smith in Oregon   April 28th, 2010 8:06 pm ET

Larry King, ask Donald Trump what he thinks about the Goldman Sach's allegations that they bought BBB junk investments, added more likely failures to those instruments, had them uprated to AAA Safe investments and sold them on the market to eager American City managers and International investors who were looking for safe investments AND then Goldman Sachs purchased SHORTS on that investment knowing it would FAIL.

Avery   April 28th, 2010 8:09 pm ET

I will not be watching. Donald Trump and Melania have nothing of substance to offer me. Just two phonies who I suspect will be divorced soon.

Evanne   April 28th, 2010 8:49 pm ET

Yes, the Trump's need more exposure....a real turn off.

angela-omaha   April 28th, 2010 9:05 pm ET

Or perhaps he was trying to get out from her shadow?

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:08 pm ET

QVC is absolutely flooded with celebreties branding themselves and selling jewelry. They draw a picture and QVC contacts their manufacturers in China. JOan Rivers is somewhat the exception as she has been at it a long time.
Its too bad Melanie just cant do charitable work instead of craving a spotlight. Nobody is going to buy her jewelry, just like nobody bought Donalds cologne. Enough already please.

nelson   April 28th, 2010 9:09 pm ET

I think its such of waste of time. Who cares on their spoiled lives.
Are you serious, does she really think its funny that her child fired the house keeper. Obviously these people are on some high trip.

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:10 pm ET

they claim to have NOAHS ARK larry, can you cover that??? No offense Donald.

nance   April 28th, 2010 9:12 pm ET

I WON'T BE WASTING MY TIME WATCHING – WITH THE NATION HURTING AND PEOPLE OUT OF WORK WHY BOTHER WATCHING TRUMP AND MELANIA SHOWCASING THEIR WEALTH !!!!

Charlie   April 28th, 2010 9:13 pm ET

@nelson,
She said he had fired the nanny several times; I don't believe the nanny was actually fired.

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:14 pm ET

7 comments doth not indicate huge popularity here.

Kara   April 28th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

I feel sorry for the Trump housekeepers. What a little twerp Melania's raising- telling a story of him going around "firing' them. That's terrible. And can Donald go one interview without bragging about himself? BOR-ING!!

A. O   April 28th, 2010 9:17 pm ET

You are going to show her jewelry? . good for her, meanwhile we are suffering . Nice going

Rocky   April 28th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

I like Donald Trump but I like his daughter, Ivanka Trump more. Ivanka Trump seems more modern and 21st century. I will say this about Donald Trump, he has the coolest name and he creates wonderful children.

justin   April 28th, 2010 9:19 pm ET

For Mr. Trump will The Celebrity Apprentice renewed for another season since regular apprentice is coming back and ratings are great? And will George and Carolyn come back as full time advisors?

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:20 pm ET

OK! finally some content. China is an enemy. We need desperately to stop importing thier landfill products that cant stay together for more a few months. I am so sick of throwing out poorly made EXPENSIVe things from China.

Sandrs   April 28th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

Melania-
what is an average day like for you?

jules   April 28th, 2010 9:21 pm ET

The child with the Louis Vuitton school bag...for preschool?

Christie   April 28th, 2010 9:22 pm ET

@Donald,
It's nice to see you on LKL. I find nothing phony about a guy who would rather than a burger and glass of milk for dinner than go out to a nice restaurant. It's obvious you have been a good father; nothing negative has been said about any of your children.

However now, I do need to correct you on grammar. I heard you correct someone on The Apprentice who said "I feel bad" about something; you insisted it was "I feel badly." Sorry to tell you that "I feel bad" is correct. If you like a decision one of your employees make, would you say, "I feel good about that," or would you say "I feel well about that?" Again, "bad" was correct. Just want you to be at your best, Donald :-).

Marita Jeffrey   April 28th, 2010 9:24 pm ET

RIGHT ON DONALD TRUMP regarding the economy and business, china and Goldman Sachs!!!! DONALD TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT!! Please Donald.. RESCUE THE USA! It's obvious you LOVE this country... and YOU could save this country. You wouldn't PLAY politics.. you would represent us.... DONALD>> RESCUE our country..

Rocky   April 28th, 2010 9:25 pm ET

I say Donald Trump is a leader and a diplomat and he should run for office!!!! Trump is smart and knows economics and he would be great President!!! Can you imagine if he ran as an Independent?
One word: EXCITING. Bloomberg may be smart economically, but he is boring. Trump is exciting and would be great President! I would vote for Trump!!! Trump would fix the economy and solve problems!!
RUN, DONALD, RUN!

Zack   April 28th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

I would love for Larry to address how so many people dislike Donald Trump, and would love to hear of Donald's reaction.

Marita Jeffrey   April 28th, 2010 9:26 pm ET

I can't believe all you people who say it's a waste of time to have Donald Trump. He has his finger on the pulse of this country. He knows more then most of you..are you kidding?? He's wealthy because the USA afforded him to attain his dream. But not anymore.. WE NEED TO LISTEN TO DONALD...

DONALD TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT.

PLEASE LARRY..ASK DONALD TO RUN FOR OFFICE...TELL HIM I WILL HAVE EVERYONE VOTING OF HIM!!!

Rocky   April 28th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

Ask Donald if he would ever run for President or Senator or Governor. Most politicians bore me. We need new blood. Trump should run for office.

jules   April 28th, 2010 9:27 pm ET

I am sorry, but why is the new wife dressed like an 80's Ivanka?

Sierra   April 28th, 2010 9:28 pm ET

Hello Milania – Will you be selling your jewelery line at The Shopping
Channel in Canada?

Murphy   April 28th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

I have a question for Mr. Trump : what advice do you have for a person who has many ideas for a successfull business but does not have the resources to make it happen?

Rocky   April 28th, 2010 9:31 pm ET

some of the comments in here, are off base. Just remember its people like Donald Trump who improve the economy, not people who just moan and complain and have no ideas. The demonization of the very people who produce jobs is so moronic and counterproductive!!

Richard the Law Student   April 28th, 2010 9:31 pm ET

Trump for President 2016

Kevin Graffis   April 28th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

Question for Donald Trump:

Would you ever consider my idea for a reality tv show, where you and four (4) of your colleagues are stripped of your wealth and forced to live homeless for a two (2) week period of time?

Simone Ellis   April 28th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

Mr. Trump just said that his fellow businessmen in China think our representatives and senators are "stupid," and are in disbelief over the practices the American (democratically elected government) institute. I might remind him, to remind those "businessmen," that we are in disbelief over the policies that their one-party totalitarian government institute in the once sovereign regions, once known as Tibet. And that their hate campaign against the Dalai Lama is the ultimate in stupidity in no only our eyes, but in the eyes of the entire world. No one human being is more beloved than His Holiness the Dalai Lama.. So much for businessMEN's opinions.

Delaney   April 28th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

My manager has a slogan :Good enough never is. My team finds this deflating vs inspiring. What would be your personal slogan?

Robert Monaco   April 28th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

Robert Monaco from Ft Luaderale Fl would like to know if the current issue from Forbes 400 richest people in America has your estimated net worth accurate at 2 billion. If not what is it?

Denise   April 28th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

Are any of the Trump properties considered TICs? If so, which ones and are they open for investment. If not, has Donald every considered TICs?

Josie   April 28th, 2010 9:34 pm ET

Donald Trump is talking about the US economy and at the same time showing off his wifes jewelery. . What are you thinking?

Rocky   April 28th, 2010 9:34 pm ET

i just thought of something. Donald likes European women. He has the best taste in women. 🙂

Elsa   April 28th, 2010 9:35 pm ET

Wow it's unbelievable how Mr. Trumph being as intellectual and successful as he is, shows to be so ignorant on the immigration issues in AZ. Sorry but visiting AZ a few time does not give you the knowlege of the true situtuations that we are going through over here. Unfortunately with this law the good suffer for the bad. Sherrif Joe is so concerned with locking up the loyal workers meanwhile the drug lords and pimps are having a ball game. The true criminals are not being stopped. Mr. Trumph get your facts strait!

Richard the Law Student   April 28th, 2010 9:35 pm ET

His wife is Hott. I cant lie.

Christie   April 28th, 2010 9:35 pm ET

@Rocky,
Totally agree.

Rocky   April 28th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

What politicians does Donald like? What party does Trump beling to?
Does he like Scott Brown?

Smith in Oregon   April 28th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

Trump got my vote when he repeatedly condemned and castigated Bush jr. as the worst American President in history, a walking disaster who destroyed America's economy and International support.

Liz   April 28th, 2010 9:38 pm ET

Melania- Your hair is fabulous- Who is your colorist?

Greg Bokor   April 28th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

What country is your wife's jewelry made in?

Henry   April 28th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

Regarding immigration in this country, if you come into this country illegally you don't have the right to stay here. There are too many people going through the immigration process the right way. Not to crack down on illegal traffic is a slap the faces of those who do it correctly.

Regarding Arizona, the people making the biggest stink tend to be the ones who the law is aimed at catching. I have no compassion for those who came into this country the wrong way.... decisions made carry consequences.

Linda   April 28th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

Is Melania's jewelry made in China?!!!!!!

RickFromDetroit   April 28th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

Donald,
Do you think the Greek debt problems will spill over to the US.

Nancy Goldberg   April 28th, 2010 9:43 pm ET

Mr. Trump talks disparagingly about how China is making everything instead of the U.S.. Where is his wife's new jewelry line going to be made?

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:44 pm ET

absolutely, get rid of the China imports, there is nothing coming from China that we need. Where is OVC going to make Melanias jewlrey? I bet its China, I hope it isnt!

afirmbeliever   April 28th, 2010 9:45 pm ET

What does Mr. Trump have to say about his new Trump NetWork?

Jeanne Cole   April 28th, 2010 9:46 pm ET

Why doesn't Larry ask Melania where her jewelry is made.

anne   April 28th, 2010 9:46 pm ET

It's nice to hear a businessman address the economy, politics, etc. Donald, you now what you're talking about! I wish we could hear from you more often.

EagleRue   April 28th, 2010 9:47 pm ET

Donald, can you just say it.......America, stop out-sourcing American jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bottom line......to save OUR COUNTRY!

Josie   April 28th, 2010 9:47 pm ET

Donald Trump what do u think of Canada's economy?

From Josie London, Ontario Canada

Richard the Law Student   April 28th, 2010 9:47 pm ET

Trump is right we need to make toys here in out own country and just pay more for them or else in 15 years we will be screwed.

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:48 pm ET

I think Donald Trump would actually make a wonderful politician. He is smart , doesnt kiss ass, true to self. The problem is the layers of gawd he habitually bathes in, people get turned off by it.

Jeffrey J   April 28th, 2010 9:48 pm ET

I had a toy company in the US and i almost killed us. Now it's made in China.

But my questions is... where is your wife's jewelry made?

Frank   April 28th, 2010 9:48 pm ET

I'd like to know where Melanie's line of jewelery is made. China?

Rezi A.   April 28th, 2010 9:48 pm ET

The truth hurts, but at least someone out there has the guts to speak about the real path of immigration, U.S. economy, and such. It would help with people thought for a second, and stopped being so thin- skinned!

Keith   April 28th, 2010 9:51 pm ET

Donald Trump – hits the nail on the head everytime – straight talker – I like him!

anne   April 28th, 2010 9:51 pm ET

@Angela,
Pertaining to your first comment, it's substance, not quantity that counts.

johnmccain   April 28th, 2010 9:51 pm ET

Where are Melanie's jeweleries manufactured? China? Donald is screaming about China "eating our lunch", they are just opportunists to manufacture everything for the world, as long as we want to buy Melanie's jewelery for pennies...

shannan   April 28th, 2010 9:52 pm ET

Larry I just wanted to say Donald got it right I am 40 years old come this november and the kids in my family did not have many toys because my dad refused to buy us any toys not made in the USA and in the 70's and 80's every thing was being made in other countries and still are to this day

Lina   April 28th, 2010 9:52 pm ET

I'm trying to send a question regarding tonight's show. Donald and Melania are terrific. Donald is spot on regarding China. Melania has created beautiful jewerly that is very affordable. Her beauty is much more than skin deep, to want to create and provide such affordable luxuries to the masses. My question is this: Where is Melania's jewelry being manufactured?
Thank you!

wendy chiaro   April 28th, 2010 9:53 pm ET

ask mr trump where is his wife's jewelry made ? china ?

Christine Croarkin   April 28th, 2010 9:53 pm ET

Is Melania Trump's jewelry line manufactured in China?

L D Joplin   April 28th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

In the earlier Apprentice, Donald had two employees: one older gentlemen and a woman. I cannot think of her name but she ran a golf course and wrote a book. What happened to her? Was she fired?

Raul Izquierdo   April 28th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

With the change in design going green etc , is Donald designing any green building.. such as maybe buildings with indoor gardens and large out door balconies that woudl allow owners to grow there own food. etc?

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

where is Dodie, please dont tell me she has defected to Twitter????

JG   April 28th, 2010 9:55 pm ET

I want to know if he think's their's an economy in hell? and does he think he's selling his soul for the material world?

Van from Olin, NC   April 28th, 2010 9:55 pm ET

Donald makes more common sense when he speaks than any other politician on the planet....

when will he run for president...i'd vote for him in a heartbeat......

Tough on China, OPEC, alternative energy.....YOU GO DON!!!!

pete   April 28th, 2010 9:56 pm ET

Donald Trump is right we need to move some manufacturing back to America China is getting rich from the US comsumer market and they're on pace to suprass the US economy and America's regine a the world's ecomonic superpower will come to an end.

Why is it that a Chinese immagrant can move to the US and pursue the American some have become very successful and good for them. How many US citizens have immiragted to China and become citizens to purse the Chinese dream – none, they don't play by the same rules.

JG   April 28th, 2010 9:57 pm ET

Does Donald Trump go to church? Or is he just apart of the church of greed and materialism?

Christie   April 28th, 2010 9:59 pm ET

Donald,
Enjoyed seeing Baron; again, a lovely family including beautiful wife whose jewelry will do well I'm sure. The pieces are a good price point for this economy.
I hope you will return to LKL soon and spend the hour talking about business and economic issues.

angela   April 28th, 2010 9:59 pm ET

Not only that but China still doesnt get it, they can make a great wonderful product then they skimp on 2 or 3 scres and it ends up in the trash. This week alone, I have thrwn away 3 China product. Broken Patio table, cant replace the glass on it, solar lights, hose nozzle head. All these items look great but are completely unfixable and broken. I have to throw em into a landfill now and go buy more crap from China, because I cant find anything made in the usa. It sucks

Christie   April 28th, 2010 10:02 pm ET

Some of the comments posted smack of jealousy. Maybe listen to the man and learn something.

kathryn scrimshire   April 28th, 2010 10:04 pm ET

Loved the comments about China and our government. Need to have China's currency float as most currencies do. But, Donald, where is your wife" jewelery made?

Christie   April 28th, 2010 10:04 pm ET

@Smith,
Donald Trump is never terribly harsh on politicians; he's fairly balanced as you heard tonight.

Cindy   April 28th, 2010 10:06 pm ET

Larry,
Thanks for having Donald and Melania on tonight. It was a refreshing break to hear from an excellent businessman; hope you have him back soon.

Felix   April 28th, 2010 10:08 pm ET

Are you interested in doing real estate deals in Cameroon – Africa?

Felix

Immacula Vilson-Paul   April 28th, 2010 10:10 pm ET

Thank you for all the hard work you put into helping Haiti. As a Haitian-American I am very honored you put so much effort to help the people of Haiti. I am a very big fan of your's and i will keep you in my prayers. Keep up the good work.

Sherri   April 28th, 2010 10:15 pm ET

I was in total agreement with Mr. Trump on several issues. First, I have been saying for years, look on the label of 60% of items sold here in America and it reads 'made in Tawain or made in China'
too many products sold here are made in China. Second, I believe
that this is an excellent time to purchase and invest in real estate, the
market is a goldmine for those who can purchase now. Third, I
cannot tell you how much I agree with both Donald and Melania
on the border issues in Arizona. I am so proud to hear Melania say that even if the problem was with people from her country, she'd have no problem and that everyone should have papers! God bless you Melania. I have been going through extensive search and security measures at the airports since 2002 after the high security measures after 911 (2001). I am always singled out and I don't know the reason but I totally understand.. If I look like I'm from the Middle East and I get stopped, it is something that has to be done and it's okay.

Theresa   April 28th, 2010 10:18 pm ET

@ LD Joplin.....the genlemen.s name is George H. Ross & the woman is Carolyn Kepcher. Yes,she was fired.....I read awhile ago that she & Donald Trump had different visions for her future. You can decide for yourself if you would like him for a boss! For all the people who think he would make such a wonderful pres...he's a wealthy businessman...he wouldn't do anything different. Remember he's # 1..he's great buddies with the elite in Dubai..the country that likes to hide their poor ...they only want the public to know of their wealth!!!!

Felix BARABA   April 28th, 2010 10:23 pm ET

Larry u look very nice I like the way u dress , I like your show I watch it everyday. Larry I'm haitian I like what u have done to help haiti to recover from the tragic earthquake. Larry

Sarah Lunn   April 28th, 2010 10:35 pm ET

There is a Spanish American warship berthed at Penn's Landing and they are in the process of wanting to tow her out into the open waters and sink her. She is the last of her kind and the only memory of those who gave their lives for the preservation of our freedom. Maybe they believe that if they destroy her, people will forget about war and we will have no more. Wrong, If we forget about those who defended us from the past, then there was no real reason for the fighting in the first place. Maybe we should get rid of the other memorials in honor of our fallen soldiers and sailors. I know what it is, we can't make money on their bodies so let's get rid of them in favor of the almighty American dollar. To a great many people in the USA it may seem crazy to hold a deep feeling for something that is made of steel but it is a reminder of all that has given so much and in a city that is to represent the freedom we have all fought for. Does it mean that all fighting people, who gave so much, for our liberties will also be forgotten.

We are members of the paranormal research community in the Philadelphia, Pa area and have done some very favorable responses from the pasted member of the USS Olympia berthed there. There has been spotting and reports in the past of the pasted Admiral Dewey on the bridge wing. We have taken photographs in the engine room that have been verified and clean shots of crew members in that area where no one exists. We have been hoping that we could have the brothers and sisters in the paranormal and ghost research community come in and help prove that there is a connection across the void and we could learn from those who have crossed over. Who knows, maybe there is hope that if they destroy her they can discourage others from proving that paranormal world exists. If this goes through, maybe it will happen. Please write your politicians the stop this and allow the Lady to stay.

bella   April 28th, 2010 10:37 pm ET

C&C   April 28th, 2010 10:40 pm ET

Melania Trump,
You looked amazing! Happy recent B-day! We'll always be 29, and you still look it! As a fellow Slovene, I aspire to look half as good as you you after having a child. Well done! I'm a first generation American (my Opa is/was from nearby Maribor, Slovenia and my father is from Gratz, Austria) and I practice International Trade law. I'm considering whether to have a child with my husband, but I'm fearful of what it will do to my career. (My husband is the brother of Levente, a police officer in Palm Beach.) Any suggestions and perspectives you can offer from your side of the experience. Again, well done tonight!
Cheers,
C

This is only offered as humor, so don't get yourselves twisted inside a cauldron over hell's fire because of it. I think Donald's youngest 'trump', his 'little apprentice', who will one day vie for the 'Old Man's' position, looks and acts the part already. If you would examine the scalp below that 'trumped out' hair style you may find ($$$) birth-marks, an 'ominous sign' to be aware of, by his older step-brother. My worry is he may be deprived of a normal childhood free of the 'evils' associated with the 'cult'-lateral effects associated in the 'perdition' of big business. It would be so much more advantageous, if he had a 'snowball chance in the underworld' to enjoy the endeavor of enjoying a childhood free of the 'Beelzebub's of the Evil Business Macrocosm' first. He is a cute little devil...

angela   April 28th, 2010 11:58 pm ET

Sarah, you need to write to larry about this, or the paranormal groups on the networks. You might be able to get some interest in thiscause.

angela   April 29th, 2010 12:11 am ET

MELANIA TRUMPS QVC ITEMS ARE MADE IN CHINA........MOST LIKELY BECAUSE NOBODY HERE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THIS STUFF ANY LONGER OR CANT AT THIS PRICE POINT. SO DONALD YOU ARE STILL PART OF THE PROBLEM.

Heather L.   April 29th, 2010 12:17 am ET

GREETINGS FROM CANADA
Why doesn't the public give IVANNA Trump the credit she deserves in raising her children? Mothers usually spend more time with the kids and her Eastern Europe influence probably had a lot more to do with raising good kids with good values...... He takes credit for raising his kids. WHEN DID HE HAVE TIME TO DO THAT??

joey   April 29th, 2010 12:29 am ET

I want donald trump for president. he makes more sence than any politician.

Eugenia   April 29th, 2010 12:31 am ET

How can you have Mr Trump say there are not many blond people in Mexico, cant he be less recist? I am Mexican, I am blond and have lots of blond relatives, all Mexican.

When we come to the US, they still ask us questions like anyone else in inmigration. Really that is a more racist action than any law!

Thanks

dawn   April 29th, 2010 12:35 am ET

We here at home were just discussing that we need a REAL businessman for president to get us out of this mess. There you go Mr. Trump. Perfectly right ..we have too many jobs that are overseas and across the border. That's why we are in the situation we are in now. Low quality & in the long run VERY expensive. Run for Prez & fix this mess

steve   April 29th, 2010 12:37 am ET

Why do you have so many commercials? I love the show, but the amount of commercial breaks is absolutely insane!

joey   April 29th, 2010 12:39 am ET

Are you here legal, and if so dont you want your family protected.

joey   April 29th, 2010 12:43 am ET

your exactly right dawn, its time to put out the silver spoon playboy politicians and put in someone who started out making a living with their hands and not daddys wallet

RHONDA   April 29th, 2010 12:48 am ET

Hey Larry Ask Donald why does he only have important people on his new tv show [golf} and not the regular working man who takes a lunch can to work every day like my husband who has been golfing for 41 years and has a 3 handicap. Thankyou

kathy Stack-Aviles   April 29th, 2010 12:53 am ET

Have you ever met a family that is here in this country illegal?

Sophia W.   April 29th, 2010 12:54 am ET

Do you believe Love is real? Why when I say I love a man does he shortly then leave me and say I deserve better, could there be no men left in this world for me?

I do look young for my age is that the bad thing or a good thing?

Plus I am smart, intelligent and helpful person, so why can't I find love at 29 or will I have to wait as long for love and marriage as Sandra Bullock and then still watch it all fail again and drop with divorce.

--Is love not success or a long sentence for lost. Or should I still keep praying for it.

joey   April 29th, 2010 12:58 am ET

On the arizonia law, i think every state should adopt this law. Reason being we have no problem sending our men and women into battle to protect this country. And please, everyone do thier own research on how many soliders have died defending this country over the last 100 years. And then ask your self , is it really that bad when a lawenforcement officer ask you for your I D. They are just trying to do what our blak, white, mixican and other nationalities has done for our country as soliders of the U.S.A. People we need to start controling our own states.

inde   April 29th, 2010 1:02 am ET

With all the tough things going on in this world we need an hour of a Trump info-mercial. I would rather see working class people selling jewels on your show to survive then the trumps trying to increase their millions. The media is so out of touch on what makes good television.

Donald L Allen   April 29th, 2010 1:03 am ET

I no you got a lot of money right But it make no mater much to me I,V see very little of it wen I go to work four My self it well be getting it the job dun right Ca's I don,t work four no one else and if you like My IDIA don,t think it a free ride it not it just Business and the way I think right see you Hop you like the Larry King Live show see you

Connie Lukaszewski   April 29th, 2010 1:06 am ET

Dear Melania,
Years ago there was a company selling jewlery in home parties they did fantastic, my Mother sold their home parties for extra money in this day and economy there are many moms who would like to pick up extra paycheck, I saw your line of Jewlery and thought of this company. I think you would also do extremely well opening a home showing line of your beautiful pieces. I need a job keep me in mind. Retired Grandma mother to eight. Respectfully It was Sarah Coventry Jewelry

R.Ramirez   April 29th, 2010 1:07 am ET

I have high respect for Mr Trump, the man has made it Big. I would love to be in his shoes. I agree with Mr.Trump on the issue on illegal immigration, this Country needs a common language – English – to remain, a Country with out borders is no Country at all. I'm latino and I feel strongly that immigrates that are illegal should be return to their country of orgin.

inde   April 29th, 2010 1:12 am ET

For president are you kidding? A major reason our country is in trouble is because we have only millionares "representing" us who have never had a working class job in their life. They in turn, only create policies which help their buddies like on wallstreet. Please, let the jewel sellers live it up on QVC but NOT run for office.

Connie Lukaszewski   April 29th, 2010 1:14 am ET

Dear Donald I think you should run for President on the next term you are extremely intelligent and listening to you have our countries best interest at heart , You are the only one I have heard make any sense on what the American people , Govt. needs to do to bring our economy back to the basic's. please consider it and stand on the podium and tell the American public just what you said tonight on china and where all our money is being sucked out of us , while there killing us slowly with their chemicals. You make good sense, It is not out of the question you know?

Respectfully Connie

Fay Ozarko   April 29th, 2010 1:50 am ET

Donald Trump was very concerned about China and India "eating our lunch". Where is Melania's jewelery line manufactured?

Smith in Oregon   April 29th, 2010 2:10 am ET

Democrats threat to roll out the sleeping cots to pull a all nighter if the Republican Party of NO continued their filibuster, worked.

The Republican party of NO, caved in instead of filibustering all night to prevent voting on the Banking and Wall Street reform bill. Threatening to roll out the Cot's worked!!!

Mission accomplished Democrats, the Republican childish filibuster and debate ended, now is the time to pass the sweeping Banking and Wall Street reforms and regulations.

Nancy Ashley   April 29th, 2010 2:19 am ET

I actually enjoyed the interview. Trump is no dummy....he wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He made his money by working for it. There was a time he was down on his luck also not so many years ago. He was practically bankrupt but he pulled himself up by the bootstraps and got himself out of his financial mess. Maybe we do need him in Washington. I can guarantee you he knows where every dollar he makes goes! We need someone in government who gives a crap. 99% of those in Washington could care less about the deficit or how it will ever be paid off. Trump could probably have us with a balanced budget and no deficit in no time. As for the jewelery line....I think it is a bit cheesy for a billionaire's wife to waste her time selling costume jewelery when she could make a huge difference in charitable areas. But who am I to judge.

Cajazz76:24:8   April 29th, 2010 2:42 am ET

R. Ramirez..

Adios !!!!! send a post card when you get to Chihuahua...don't screw the pooch on the way out..

Diane (Canada)   April 29th, 2010 3:38 am ET

Donald, you're the best! I am saddened to read all the negativity written about you. Do these people forget the number of jobs you create for your fellow many through your development ventures? Do they not know how to support their fellow man? What a shame! Trust me Donald, if they had the intelligence to achieve the success you have, they wouldn't feel self-pity on themselves. You are someone these people should take notes from.

All of your children chose the right path and are successful in life. This is the highest achievement for any parent. Melania is absolutely beautiful and holds such grace and class. Keep enjoying your fortune and don't take the criticism to heart. Bravo!!!

Mike A Smith   April 29th, 2010 3:39 am ET

I appreciate the comments made by Mr. Trump regarding the Az. immigration issue. I have a daughter recovering from heroin addiction and she has told us all the kids were getting it from illegals and that they all would hang around elementary schools and even meet them there to get it. She has lost more than a 1/2 dozen friends from heroin.

Idzan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   April 29th, 2010 4:19 am ET

Is Melania expecting another child? Or is that an old photo?

Janez   April 29th, 2010 5:14 am ET

What Trump has said about China and Japan was totally unacceptable. China and Japan never want to eat up America. The demand of things are all from USA. He has insulted a lot of good people in the world. I demand a full apology from him on this. He sounded like he hates Asian. Terrible man, and not sure why people wants to work for him!

Janez   April 29th, 2010 5:32 am ET

How do you thing about Mongolia ? Would you like to investigate in Mongolia

manoj   April 29th, 2010 5:59 am ET

Hi Larry,

I'm from Sri Lanka and I'm watching Larry King Live. A few minutes ago Donald Trump said "China is sucking our blood". Isn't that a little too rude to make a comment like that. My feeling is that comments like these make people hate America.
I feel that Mr. Trump does not appreciate the rapid development we've recently seen in China.
Also for a fact I know many Chinese people do hard labor low wage jobs in the US. Why aren't more Americans (Donal's kind) do these jobs. Isn't America ripping the benefit form Chinese people. Now it's time for China to stand up and have many people like Donald in China I guess. I wonder what would Mr.Trump say about this.

Thanks.

allen au-yeung   April 29th, 2010 6:00 am ET

Casino business is all about targeting the weak side of the people, same as drugs, drinks and cigarettes. What's he talking about?

Herb McCoy   April 29th, 2010 6:22 am ET

When is Larry going to start interviewing people that are not so much in the lime light that have something very important to say in America or other countries. I am a strong believer that there are many more very interesting people out there that have more to say than 5% of these very wealthy people. Trump may be a good busiinessman but where is his heart...money does not make you happy..

gerald Jolly   April 29th, 2010 7:46 am ET

It amazes me how so many people know so little about the reason that China is getting all our money.

Let me bring you up to date as to why.

Several big companies including some of THE DONALD'S construction affiliates.

These companies arrived in China in early 1992, along with a large number of gun toting assasins, these business men told the China government that if they did'nt do business with the U.S. that they would unleash their assasins and kill all the chinese business men that refused to sell to the U.S.
Fearing their demise the chinese government and business men finally caved in to the demands of the "GREEDY" U.S. business men.

The greedy American business men insisted that the chinese must take all the U.S. dollars being forced on them, or risk death.

1.3 billion chinese became so fearfull of the American business men, and begged the American business men to not force them to take all the American money, but the greedy American business men warned them, "TAKE OUR MONEY" or die.

So that's the reason why there is no more money in America, now the chinese have it all.

STUPID EH! FOLKS, YOU DAMN RIGHT IT IS, IT'S JUST AS STUPID AS DONALD TRUMP AND ALL THE MORONS OF THIS WORLD BLAMING CHINA FOR OUR FANANCIAL WOES.

Take the time to visit, any Wal-Mart store and check the labels, and you will find that 95% of those labels say MADE IN CHINA and they do so because Sam Wal has warned the chinese that if they refuse to make products for him, he will have them all shot.

And that's not only Wal-Mart it's every major chain store in America, "INCLUDING FOOD FOLKS.

There are days when I am ashamed to call myself an American, when I read some of the idiotic "NO-NOTHING" blogs on this format.

I hope the chinese people will forgive we Americans for forcing them to take our money.

GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

gerald Jolly   April 29th, 2010 7:53 am ET

One last comment.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME ANY OF YOU WENT INTO A SHOP AND BOUGHT A PAIR OF "MADE IN THE U.S." LEVI JEANS.

BET YA CANT REMEMBER HU!

The new buzz is, that thousands of American working men are applying for jobs in China, because they used to work in an industry that made those products in the good old U. S. of A

Cali MJ Fan   April 29th, 2010 7:56 am ET

I found this a very interesting hour with Mr. Trump and his wife, Melania. She was very interesting and learning she is educated in architect was fascinating. Her jewelry line looks beautiful, and so good of her to make it so it is affordable to the masses, instead of out of reach on a cloud for many, especially in today's economy.

The comments about China were ... about time someone said it! The US is quickly becoming a laughing stock of the world, especially when it comes to politics. Think of the videos that are seen when there are fights on the floors of other countries in their government– then think of the current situations with the Tea baggers and the Republicans filibustering everything just because they are the minority party in the Senate. (Still love the Tea Party didn't research what tea baggers meant today... HA HA)

Mr. Trump is absolutely correct toys (without lead) should be made in the US. Actually, our markets are so overloaded with materials, that our society has forgotten to focus on the basics and replaced it with a "keep up with the Joneses" mentality. The more material items, the better for status. We really need to rethink our morales and values as a society. The clip of Mr. Trump talking to Barron about no drugs, cigarettes and no tatoos was priceless. It's cute his son is walking around the house saying "You're Fired"... it shows he's watching and listening to his father– and wanting to be like him. Who wouldn't want their child to turn out like Mr. Trump? Rich, educated, involved and talented. Great role model, I'd say.

gerald Jolly   April 29th, 2010 7:56 am ET

The next time any of you stay in a Trump hotel, check the bedding, and decor in the room and lobby.

I guarantee you the labels will read "MADE IN CHINA"

A few people on this blog have suggested that THE DONALD should run for President, I think he would if he was given permission by his Chinese Funders.

Ted   April 29th, 2010 8:01 am ET

Donald, you are a one man immigration agency, bringing all those beautiful women into this country.
I guess first you thump them, then you Trump them, and after a few years you trade them for a newer model.
You should be a car dealer.

At your age you should go for comfort and not for speed!!
You decided for the speed, so watch out when your pep gets lower or gone, Jody is waiting to give a helping hand or anything else required.
On the other hand, it is great that you make poor european women into millionairs when they decide they had enough of the Trump thumping.

Theresa   April 29th, 2010 9:52 am ET

I would like to ask Donald Trump WHY anyone who enrolls in courses from the Trump University does not get a degree. Didn't you graduate from the Wharton School of Business..bet you wouldn't have been happy if you didn't get a degree when you graduated. Mr. Trump...you certainly are humorous.....you'd attach your name to any product if you were able to make a buck. I think you'd probably allow your name to be stamped on your mother's forehead if that would sell some new fangled product!!!

Idzan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   April 29th, 2010 10:04 am ET

Ted

That was a good one. I was really laughing. I was thinking of Ivana and Marla. They are all millionaires. Why didnt he marry American ladies? They as as beautiful as the imported wives.

james   April 29th, 2010 10:19 am ET

just a disgusting interview. I'll never watch your sfhowf agacin. Get out Larry before your a laughing stock.

Irina   April 29th, 2010 10:20 am ET

Dear mr. Donald Trump!
I am from Russia, so sorry for my englisn. I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson for a long time. And I would ask you very much: PLEASE, buy Nenerland for Michael's children! As a tribute, as a gift. They very diserve it. This place very important for them! They very beautiful and kind kids, and I am sure, they will continue Michael's message around the world: to spread LOVE, PEACE, KIND.
Please do it!

Sincerely yours, Irina Tkachuk.

Charles   April 29th, 2010 10:44 am ET

@Theresa,
Mr. Trump has a done a lot of good will with his fortune. There was the story of his being driven somewhere; I think it may have been in New Jersey. His car had a flat tire and a nice person stopped to help fix it. The next thing this nice person knew was that his mortgage had been paid in full. We are terribly eager to criticize those with more; many times, again, they do a lot of good. If one cannot obtain a degree from TU, most likely it's because it's not an accredited institution. One can go to Harvard and take some courses just to learn or better themselves. TU is about doing business; people don't go there to take history, literature, and other courses required for degrees. Lighten up and keep in mind success in business does not always mean a degree and there is a lot of value in TU.

I am a bit curious as to how you think the intricate design of expensive looking, but cheap, jewelry that was being pimped on LKL by the Trumps is so inexpensive. Do you think it is made in Slovenia, Melania's country of origin, or in the LA area by low paid Hispanics, or in Mexico, or perhaps in Haiti? I just want to know, so I can direct order from the factory and get it at a better discount, and perhaps even avoid the sales tax.

Cajazz76:24:8   April 29th, 2010 12:08 pm ET

gerald Jolly,

No one has explained in a manner, as you consistently do, so all can see with vivid clarity where the fly poo is and the pepper are chaffed out. So many just turn up their noses and sneeze at the Chinese economy and the imports with that "Made in China" label and never realize who is really salting their tails. Thank you for the manner in which you profess, so all can capture your message..Semper Fi, if you think I am devoid in any way in regards to your insight and forethought. Best regards..caj..

Cajazz76:24:8   April 29th, 2010 12:38 pm ET

@Ted

What migrates from your cranium is always provocative and humorous. Trump was never what one could call fast, half-fast is how most really view him. Like most imports, his toy models usually end up in the trash heaps on American soil. Butt, I must add, most do have pretty asps. I think that plays into his reptile dysfunction..

Cajazz76:24:8   April 29th, 2010 12:47 pm ET

Theresa

I like the way you used 'fang'led...makes him look like an asp.

Daniel, From Pennsylvania   April 29th, 2010 4:32 pm ET

Two Part Question for Donald Trump,

Mr.Trump, I have been thinking of the next greatest idea for your celebrity apprentice for you to change things up a bit, I would appreciate it if an e-mail could be sent to me where I could forward my ideas to, also, Mr.Trump, what would you say to someone like me who in, every single challenge of the apprentice has said to himself I come up with the same but better ideas that even your celebrity contestants have had, and would've knowingly won every challenge, how does an everyday joe without a Whorton school, or Harvard degree have a fair chance at being on the next regular apprentice?

Donald, I also wanted to thank you personally for all the entertainment you and your shows, appearances and family have given me over the years, You know how brilliant you are, thanks for sharing your spark and entertaining personality with us, I hope that this note truly finds "The Donald" and in the absolute best of health and happiness

-Dan from PA

miggi   April 29th, 2010 5:43 pm ET

Get of the air Larry. You lost your charm and don't ask the questions people want to know. Your wasting our time.

joel   April 29th, 2010 5:48 pm ET

I'll never watch your show agian. This show was nothing more than a plug for the crap china made jewlery. No thanks I'm no fool here.

joel   April 29th, 2010 5:49 pm ET

LOL did u see the jewlery up close...with all those lights it hardly sparkled. Please.....it' junk.

Charles   April 29th, 2010 6:11 pm ET

@joel,
It's really no different than the many times he's had a guest who has written a book; often times the books are junk some would way.
The jewelry is a low-end jewelry in comparison to fine jewelry, and it's intended to be so that someone other than the wealthy can enjoy at least some nice designs.

Ted   April 30th, 2010 7:43 am ET

@ cajazz

Very kind, it is just easier to go through the minefields of this life with a shot of humor in your belly.
