That's easy! When Kara sang on last year's finale!

Cajazz76:24:8   April 19th, 2010 8:01 pm ET

Paula Abdul farting on Simon and Adam Lambert singing the Johnny Cash hit 'Ring of Fire'.. he definitely made it his and Simon didn't appreciate was hilarious hearing his comments...

Stephanie   April 19th, 2010 9:09 pm ET

Favorite Idol moment:

When Bikini Girl kissed Seacrest. The "little boy who thinks he's in trouble" look was priceless!

Cindy   April 19th, 2010 9:15 pm ET

I am very much a fan of Johnny Cash and I loved what Adam did with Ring of Fire; it was unbelievable. Simon has said many times he does not like country music. Ring of Fire wasn't quite country but Simon doesn't like anything connected to it, so knowing that it was a Johnny Cash song biased him completely.

Megan Yates   April 19th, 2010 9:18 pm ET

Please can you pass this on to Simon Cowell.
My name is Megan Yates. I am 16.
Me and my family are on holiday from England and are stranded in Las Vegas until at least Sunday 25th.
I was supposed to have my audition for the X Factor this Saturday but will now have to miss it as I will not get back in time.
Can I please please auditon over the phone for Simon while he is on your show? I would be so grateful if I could!

April   April 19th, 2010 9:24 pm ET

My 6 year old has a live hate with Simon. She lives for his comments but when they say his name she says simon cow? Simon cow? Moo moo. Too cute!!!!

etp_geo   April 19th, 2010 9:28 pm ET

Simon's eye's are beautiful tonight!

Brandon   April 19th, 2010 9:29 pm ET

@Megan the phone would distort any talent that you may have....all though I suppose it would be worth a shot if a request like that were to be'd be better off on twitter...they actually read those comments on the show.

Barbara   April 19th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

A inqiring mind wants to know?? actually two questions..Why does Simon always look over his right shoulder during the program and 2) what sublimal message is Simon sending when he constantly uses his "middle finger" while critiicing the contestants???

Brandon   April 19th, 2010 9:33 pm ET

Isn't Simon responsible for the Spice Girls? Why do people feel his opinion matters....especially when many of the people who have won Idol are now...well where are they?

Megan Yates   April 19th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

Thanks Brandon,
I'll give it a try.I am on youtube under Megan Yates if you want to have a listen. It was just an amateur event at a Christmas Lights switch on in the UK.

Adam =]   April 19th, 2010 9:39 pm ET

I think my favorite American Idol moment this year was when Ellen said that Katie's song was "very horny".

I think my favorite American Idol moment of all the years put together, would be when Carrie Underwood sat in the middle of the stage on live television because she didn't want to choose between which group she thought was better the previous night.

Mike   April 19th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

Simon has an icredibly insightful and accurate smell for talent. I have NEVER disagreed with him.

Brandon   April 19th, 2010 9:41 pm ET

@Megan Well I'm am big on watching some Youtube so I'll be sure to check it out

Lenny   April 19th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

I enjoy watching Ellen on American idol. Will she be returning for season 10?

Brandon   April 19th, 2010 9:42 pm ET

@Megan so you have a channel that you update or did you sign up just to upload the one video? I can't check out youtube here so I'll have to take a look later.

Drew   April 19th, 2010 9:45 pm ET

How much of a dollar to Idol Gives Back goes to admin costs

Cindy   April 19th, 2010 9:45 pm ET

Great line, Ellen, about our not being able to do the same thing year after year.

Cameron   April 19th, 2010 9:47 pm ET

My favorite moment is and will always be General Larry Platt.

mark   April 19th, 2010 9:58 pm ET

How much American Idol gives from their own money. Not raised from other sources or individuals.

luckybee   April 20th, 2010 12:01 am ET

I only have one idol and that is Jezus Christ.

Judy Knight   April 20th, 2010 12:14 am ET

My favorite idol moment was the night that Carrie Underwood won American Idol, and what a wonderful representative of this show she has been. She has exceeded all expectations.
She is awesome in every way!!!

Their all such LIARS
None of them miss Paula

And Idol is on its way out
it lost its magic long ago

Simons leaving because he knows it!!!

Rose   April 20th, 2010 1:05 am ET

I watch American ..IDOL ...sometime... not all the time.... nothing discuss about...but ..otherwise...i am always love music...

Cajazz76:24:8   April 20th, 2010 1:08 am ET

I just heard Randy, Kara, and Ryan all say they miss her...which show were you watching? Simon is just an attitude looking for a place to dump it.. Idol will be on for a while...longer than LKL...I will wager on that ...Even though LKL has been around for a long while..Wait a minute.. your not Simon's MRS. are you?

Candy   April 20th, 2010 1:15 am ET

I felt Adam should have been the winner

Cajazz76:24:8   April 20th, 2010 11:49 pm ET

I am sure anyone with real appreciation for musical talent knew he should have won..he lost because of who and what he and Jewish...

luckybee   April 21st, 2010 12:30 am ET

Cajazz76:24:8 wrote :".he lost because of who and what he and Jewish...
No Calvinist will ever do harm to a jew because he is a jew;Why should we?We will not be more Christian as Jezus Christ, who has forgiven the jews, and the romans, when he hanged on the Cross to die.
Lucas 23,33-43
De kruisiging ( The Crusifiction)
34 And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.

luckybee   April 21st, 2010 12:49 am ET

Gay?This is what God said about it.
Genesis 19,1-29
Sódom en Gomórra verwoest (Sodom and Ghomorra destroyd)
26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
God have not aloud a humanbeing to be awitness in this happening.
Nothing is written in the 10 comandments, over gay people, and Jezus never mentioned anything about it.
Mozes and Noah even Paulus have written a law about gay people to save theyr people from exstintion.Noah after the deluge, the earth was empty, zo every body have to contributed in making children even the gay's, and Mozes, have to cross the unknown Sinai Dessert, and he must reconed of heavy losses. And Paulus have such bad news from Korinthie, that he was afraid that the Christians will be extinct , in Korinthie.

Candy-Lei   April 21st, 2010 1:18 am ET

I felt the same way. I did not see the problem as Jewish. I saw the problem because he was gay and he really did not have a chance. I thought he had more raw talent than anyone else.

gerald Jolly   April 25th, 2010 2:36 pm ET

What's this fetish that Larry has??

It does'nt matter what the topic or what the issue.

Larry always has a GAY person on his show lately.

I wonder, is this the real reason another divorce is forthcoming.

Diane Wilson   April 25th, 2010 6:19 pm ET

My favourite moment on American Idol was when I heard that the smug, self-satisfied, over-made-up closet queen Simon Cowell was leaving.

craig   April 25th, 2010 8:08 pm ET

Why is it that when Larry King has so called "Pastors" on his show they are always in the Evangelical wing as if they speak for the whole of Chrsitianity? You never see mainstream groups represented on his show. Where are the Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans, and Methodists? Where are the real theologians that study the Scriptures in a serious scholarly manner? This last pastor he had on was a joke he said God changes his mind as if God is an old white man sitting in heaven drinking coffee and saying, "gee I think I will change this. Evangelical Chrsitianity is an insult to serious Christianity.

CracklinRosie   April 25th, 2010 8:27 pm ET

My favorite Idol moment was the skit on the Season 2 finale with Simon and Paula kissing.

Simon CAN'T leave this show. It's cracked since Paula left, but after Simon leaves, it will be completely broken. I am hoping he will reconsider and do both Idol and X Factor. Simon is the backbone, the icon, the defining personality of Idol, and without him, it will be just another TV talent competition. Anyone who thinks it can survive without him is deluded.

Joe   April 25th, 2010 9:30 pm ET

If Moses met Ellen GeGeneres I bet you he would have mentioned something about gay people. I still can't tell if Ellen is a she or a he.

Lew   April 25th, 2010 9:32 pm ET

I wonder how Simon would have judged Bob Dylan - or Billie Holiday - or Tom Waits...

stephen ongaro   April 25th, 2010 9:35 pm ET

simon and ryan are like tom and jerry!!!!!!

Neguin   April 25th, 2010 9:40 pm ET

Do you guys see each other out of American iDOL?

Tamiko   April 25th, 2010 9:50 pm ET

I read Peter's comment below about the ten year old boy who is trying to make a difference in the lives of kids in Kenya who are less fortunate than he is. I think he deserves to be a idol too. I think this would be a great thing for the idols to support.

melissa setzer   April 25th, 2010 9:53 pm ET

i want to know if the rumors about ryan seacrest are true is he really gay.. its the big talk on facebook and i want to set the truth straight to everyone so please help me do that whats the truth........

Josh   April 25th, 2010 9:54 pm ET

Simon is the coolest dude on idol followed by Seacrest, Jackson, Kara, then gay Ellen

Ted   April 26th, 2010 2:26 pm ET

Hey guys, do not lean too much on Ellen, he/she is just like us, he/she likes women.
He/she has a cute girlfriend, you might want to meat her sometime.

Cajazz76:24:8   April 26th, 2010 6:36 pm ET

As you have done often before, your cracking my ribs from laughing. Ouch!!!!!!!!

Ramon Moya   April 26th, 2010 10:03 pm ET

The Immigration issue has come to head because States can no longer afford to carry the costs of non-citizens’ education, medical expenses or in some cases incarceration. We can hide behind racial profiling, but the states, nor the federal government, can no longer afford to carry these costs.

Sally   April 26th, 2010 10:16 pm ET

as a non US resiedent – it seems that we cannot participate in the contest t meet Larry as advertised – email will not take Canadian info
is there a problem? ie only open to US residents?

Fran   April 27th, 2010 3:01 am ET

The LKS is where I start my evening TV. The best of all in the entertain/inform talk show genre, Larry is the consumate interviewer and makes his job look like casual conversation. One negative: Steady coverage of national disasters, when no news is coming in, is tedious and agitates my very soul. I tune in to learn more about people who make a difference or who are bigger than life. I like the adventure of that format. I'm 72, but you don't have to be old to think LARRY ROCKS!

Ted   April 27th, 2010 11:47 am ET

@ cajazz

I return the compliment, as I presume it was ment to be!
I love your way with words, I wet my underwear reading your comments. If I had the same talent I may want to visit Ellen Degeneres´ girlfriend.

Cajazz, Dodie

You had nice comments in the blog about Jennifer Knapp, however looking at the volume of the blog it I ran for cover. Over 800 blogs sent my people with diarrhea of the mouth and past artists, who copied pages after pages of the Bible. No sense to get involved in such a mess.

Dodie   April 28th, 2010 2:43 am ET

@ Ted

Thank you for your kind words and of course, the feeling is mutual. I have learned the skip rope (Sheeple/people) technique. Once scripture is spotted, just slide that page scroll on down. Time is just too precious to be spent on reading scripture. If I wanted to read that, I would have purchased a bible years ago.
