Kirstie Alley has hit back at reports her new weight loss program will fund Scientology teachings, insisting the accusations are "not true."

The former Jenny Craig spokeswoman recently launched Organic Liaison LLC after years of battling her size under the glare of the spotlight.

Members pay between $10 and $149 per month to follow the regimen, which combines an organic food diet with vitamins and supplements.

Recent reports suggested money from the company was channeled directly into the church after links between Organic Liaison and Scientology were uncovered. The firm's accountant, Saul B Lipson, is a known Scientologist whose company is approved by the church and based near its headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. The board also features active Scientologist Michelle Seward.

But on an appearance on the "Today" show, Alley, a practicing Scientologist, insists the claims have no merit.

She says, "It's bulls**t. It's not true. The address in Clearwater is my accountant, and he's a Scientology Jew."

I do not understand why people have to make such a production about weight loss. i.e. Oprah Winfry,Kirstie Alley. How many times has Kirstie Alley come on tv to tell the tale of her weight loss, far she always fails. How can she start this business, she certainly is not a nutritionist, she hasn'teven succeeded in losing weight ,let a;lone maintaining a weight loss. Do the weight loss regime under supervision quietly & privately. What's her next project. She should be losing weight for her health She needs to take it seems she's doing it as a lark!!!

You have to make money somehow!
Kirstie does it by gaining and loosing hundred pounds or so a year. She writes a book about her experiences, stupid people rush to buy it, and voila, Kirstie just made a good living.
She should stay fat and by the next filming of the Battle of Britany she can participate as a blimp!!

Wheres all her gym equipment. I thought that would help. Maybe it is all in the mind this weight loss thing.

Vitamins and supplements are no substitute for a simple wholesome diet, I don't think.

It's amazing...the majority of the world does not have enough to the 'Third World' as the West calls it, children die of starvation every single day...

Yet in America, celebrities like Alley make millions of dollars for gaining excessive weight and then going on a diet on their very own reality show....

God Bless America.

Oh, and people like Hunter pose for pictures in their underwear, because they want the world to see their underwear; then go home and cry for two hours....because the world actually saw their underwear.....While women in the Sudan live under the fear of rape every single day.

Dear Lord.

Overeating is like overdrinking or overdrugging. It is all a loss of self control. I would be ashamed to advertise my greed. These people have no pride. Kirsty Alley is as pathetic as Britney Spears or anyone else that can't control themselves.

Kirstie, I went on the Organic Liaison website and couldn't find the diet "drink" she mentioned in her interview. How can I find out about it?
