DJ Whoo Kid joins Wyclef Jean in Haiti relief effort

Hip hop star DJ Whoo Kid has joined fellow hip hop star Wyclef Jean in his efforts to raise money to help with the Haitian relief effort initiated after the country suffered a 7.0 earthquake Tuesday.

DJ Whoo Kid, born Yves Mondesire in Haiti itself, said he is teaming with Jean to do his part to help without taking on a leadership role.

"This problem is so crazy," said DJ Whoo Kid in his statement of support. "I know that I am not a leader, and I'm very inexperienced in handling these critical situations, so I've decided to work with someone who knows the ins and outs of Haiti and is well respected by Haitians and President Obama."

Can passenger ships be rented by aid organizations as temporary 'hospitals' and sent to dock in Port au Prince to help with all the injured?
Might this not be a fast way to bring clean and efficient help?
