Greetings Larry King, I love your show!

Please ask Jack Hanna how he feels about the extinction of thousands of organisms, creatures and animals that is occurring as a direct result of global climate change?

First of all… Larry and CNN staff, I want to thank you from the deepest part of my being regarding your willingness to have an interview which reflects wildlife conservation issues.

This is very difficult for me to write, as my passion for wildlife and ecosystem survival is all but facing complete and total inhibition. I am absolutely and totally devastated within my lifetime watching all ecosystems’ around the world facing extinction. The Homo sapien species specifically human is self-centered, egocentric and arrogant. Our greed and lust for physical wealth at the cost of depleting all our earthly resources is outrageous. This is at the core of our self-destructive nature. There will soon come a time where we can not longer use denial, rationalization, silence or any other constructive cognitive concept to not look at the abuse and ultimately our own degradation. .

I have so much to say, but I just do not know where to even begin. So I will end this with a quote taken from an author who lived on Cape Cod observing wildlife in their natural habitat and was in awe! Henry Beston … 1928

“We need another and a wiser and perhaps a more mystical concept of animals. Remote from universal nature and living by complicated artifice, man in civilization surveys the creature through the glass of his knowledge and sees thereby a feather magnified and the whole image in distortion. We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves.

And therein we err, and greatly err. For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth.”

Thank You Larry King and CNN
