Hi Sarah !

For someone so addicted to drugs, he did not have any drugs found in his system other than what mr Murray put there. And if he abused drugs so badly it would have done major damage to his kidneys and liver, which, there was no such findings.

What a great photo of Janet and Michael.

I really like Janet, but somehow she's not very convincing in what she's saying ...
Maybe it's them who decided that "enough is enough" and locked our dear Mike in a clinic somewhere, away from any temptation? 🙂

The thing is even if you take someone kicking and screaming it doesnt make a difference if they dont want the help. Putting him rehab would only work if he wanted to get the help you know? You cant FORCE someone to recover. I miss MJ.. I think what he needed in an intervention was a reality check!!!!! He was living believe he had everything under control and he clearly didnt!!!

It appears to be entirely obvious that Micheal Jackson had a long and deep addiction to drugs, dating back some 25 years or 1/2 of his entire lifespan.

Unless all of Micheal Jackson's entire family members and Micheal Jacksons close friends were all entirely ego maniacal Deva's, they absolutely knew that Micheal Jackson was a long term hard core drug addict.

Even at the very end of his life, he is purported to popping FIVE xanx tablets at a time in some 30 minute cycles.

The repeated spin that family and friends weren't fully aware of the length and depth of Micheal Jackson's drug addition doesn't wash with any sense of reality.

If Micheal Jackson had any real hair left on his head, a independent laboratory should test a sample to determine all of the many drugs that Micheal Jackson had previously taken and publicly report on that finding.

It is all to confusing.

Michael addicted to drugs and yet none found in his system except what the doctor "administered".

Body riddled with needle marks but a you tube clips shows Michael one week before June 25, in a short sleeve white T tryng on his costumes and no marks are visible.

Lividity in the body and yet almost an hour of attempted resuscitation.

Two different videos of the ambulance leaving the house. When it was a one time shot to record.

Trees appearing and disappearing during the funeral.

It is all to confusing. Like I said before Michael is no longer with us but in what capacity I just don't know.

I wish the investigation was over and the truth made known.

Sorry that was just a low thing to say. Also where do you see any proof that Michael was a hardcore addict for twenty five years???

Michael did have real hair-maybe not 100 percent all of the time-and here is yet another weird thing in the investigation-they didnt send off any hair. Never thought of that one so thanks.

I will never call Janet a liar-but something is off and it has been for too long. MJ fans are not crazy and we are not being disrespecful to him by saying we just want the truth and closure-cause we have not been geting it. Even if he was a drug addict -strung out 24/7-what killed him was a doctors neglect-an inept 911 operator and slow ass ambulance driver. It is all right there in black and white. Murray said he proceeded to perform CPR when he found MJ-who had a feint pulse...this would have killed him-everyone knows this story by now so I wont repeat it-but I just had to post ...some things upset me just a little (sorry I am passionate in my stands)

One of the extremely unusual side effects for the IV drug which it appears that Micheal Jackson routinely took is Astral Travel.

The body is asleep within 30 seconds, however the mind is very active and trapped in a unconscious body. With determination, someone that is not trained in traditional methods to attain Astral Projection is able to Astral Travel while under the brief influence of the very same drug which Micheal Jackson was purportedly addicted to.

I'm assuming that Janet would never disclose such personal, private and sensitive information regarding her beloved brother if it was nothing but the truth. Janet is a respectable human who has held Michael's and her own reputation in nothing but the highest regard. Perhaps there is a very specific reason why she chose this interview to disclose such painful details of Michael's life. Michael's addiction to prescription medication was certainly not a secret as Michael himself disclosed this taunting vice of his globally in 1993. Many individuals who do not have an understanding of addiction assume that because you do not "use" anymore simply removes you from a lifetime of future battles and relapses; this is not the case. Addiction is a lifetime battle, but certainly not a lifetime sentence. If you create a sufficient relapse prevention plan that incorporates structure and a loving support system, you greatly reduce your risk for relapsing into the vicious cycle of addiction. Many other uninformed or underinformed individuals also associate "addiction" with back alley, needle exchanging, crack smoking "scumbags" who prostitute themselves out to make money to score drugs. This is also not the case, as prescription drug use is the most highly addictive and highly populated form of addiction of our current times. Michael Jackson did not need a tour, his fans, or big fat check from AEG- he needed some tough love, his ass kicked and a reality check to leave him speechless. (This is a true demonstration of love and loyality, without these actions, everything else is enabling and ignoring the problem). I genuinely believe that Michael was a victim of many, many things. He was a victim of pain, suffering, abuse- emotional and physical- deception, ignorance, thieves, false media, extortionists, jealous haters, and multiple other greedy humans that surronded him throughout his lifetime. Really- how much do we think that one person of this magnitude can really tolerate? It's a tragedy that no one was able to get Michael to understand the seriousness of his self destruction. Of course, he had many many enablers who are even more responsible for endorsing and supporting this ludacris behavior. I'm certainly not suggesting that Michael's family did not intervene; of course they did as this was verified by more than one sibling and, it just makes sense. Perhaps if they left Michael without a choice, for once in his life, he'd still be alive. Perhaps he'd still be feeling upset, angry and violated, but at least his children would still have daddy. Of course you cannot make anyone swallow any bitter pills, but shoving it down their throat is a good start.

What Michael very obviously was suffering from was dehydration and arthritis / rheumatism. But drugs' addiction with needle marks in the neck – this is just ridiculous . Full stop.

It's amazing that this article focuses on Michael's past drug addiction but fails to mention that he was clean at he time of his death. Plus, the entire interview has not even aired yet. This is why I stopped by People a few years ago, they have become just another tabloid.

it's interesting that they staged an intervention on more than one occassion when they could NOT even get through to him. who the hell was at the intervention? first Joe said he was not aware Michael was so deep into prescription drugs, then he said Michael's people kept him and the family away, then he reportedly told Katherine if they did not help Michael he would not live long, BUT then Latoya said Michael and his pops were so close Michael would not conduct business without Joe's presence. NOTHING this family says is believable, including Janet. Of course they shift the blame from themselves (not reaching out to Michael) to Conman Murray.

Michael had THREE kids in the house, if they were so concerned about him and could not reach him directly, then take the indirect route through the kids by having them removed.

I don't have to watch this interview to know, this is more an attempt for Janet to promote her soon to be released CD, than to discuss her so called "family intervention"

I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying. No where did I say do nothing. The key is not forcing him to do anything. What Michael needed to see is what could be if he did get help, and what would most likely happen if he didnt get it the help needed. As family/friends who ever.. what he needed most was convincing that help would be best for him so HE can go and seek it!!!

Oh and btw Janet was reported to have been in Atlanta and she has been reported to have been in New York and on both occasions she just learned about Michael's death.

This much to credibility of media and of all the twists they are producing in order to invent a story that sells them ad space.

Denial is a very dangerous thing and we do it everyday. Every smoker who lights a cigarette he or she is in denial that it could kill them. Every person who drives without a seat belt on is in denial that their face could be crushed by a windshield in a car accident. Every teenager who exts someone while driving, is in denial that they could kill the family coming towards them in a head on collision. MJ was no different. He was in denial that he could die from propofol because he had been given it many many times before 10 years earlier and he was sure it was safe because he had an MD administering it to him.

Michael Jackson was NOT a drug addict. He USE to be (15-20 years ago). And he told us about that. He never hid it from us. But that was all in the past. I think his children taught him that drugs were not the answer to hide his pain.

A hard post to read, MMJ. Truth is like that sometimes. It hurts, but it has to be dealt with. You cannot ignore a problem of this kind, it will not go away. I am sorry that no one, no one saw the seriousness of what had to be done. I still do not get that, but then I have never had to deal with this either. I am sure many people are dealing with the guilt of not having done what it would have took to get Michael help. They cannot rest on their own laurels of "we tried." They will be reminded of not having tried hard enough every time they look at Prince, Paris and Blanket.

I think Michael needed more than intervention, he needed his family. This entourage of people surrounding him were obviously not looking out for his well being. I'm not blaming the family because they all have their own lives but I do beleive if the family had gotten together more the scavangers would not have had the opportunity to take advantage/control of Michael the way they did. I honestly beleive Michael became to distant from his family, which is SO unfortunate.

@superfly-thank you for your stand that Michael was not an addict-if he was dependant fine-thats differant. Michael always always always promised he would not go out this way. He said that fans always would feel cheated when their heros die early and on drugs. He said in the last interview that he did with Ebony that he would not perform like he had when he was older.because he did not want to burn himself out-work himself to death. That was only two years ago-so no I cant except this wash up investigative story that has been so weird. As I said eralier IF he was -by all stories given FROM the Doctor ...he should still be alive. I am still so upset about-it just is not fair...and until we know the truth about it (so I know that it is or is not a murder cover up) I think he is alive...but with the interview tonight it is getting hard to believe that.

Big clue in the Michael Jackson investigation - the LAPD detective leading the probe indicated January 18, 2010 may be a significant date.

Detective Orlando Martinez asked a Las Vegas judge this AM to keep search warrant documents related to Applied Pharmacy secret until January 18. Law enforcement sources told us previously cops didn't want the warrant made public until the investigation was completed.

As we first reported, the LAPD believes Applied Pharmacy supplied Dr. Conrad Murray with the Propofol that ultimately killed Michael Jackson. They are on the hunt to make sure other pharmacies didn't supply Propofol.

Michael Joseph Jackson was found dead in his bedroom on 25th June 2009 at his rented Holmby Hills Mansion, he was also found dead in his doctors bedroom as well as alive with a slight pulse in a guest bedroom.
He had died 3 hours before the ambulance was called from an overdose of Demerol administered to himself by himself, while listening to the Gipsy Kings, he also died 1 hour before the ambulance was called by a lethal injection of Propofol administered by his Cardiologist who thought it would be a great idea to administer CPR on a bed for an hour. After this Michael was rushed to hospital in an ambulance doing 5 miles an hour where his body finally died after being dead.

Let’s rewind a tad. It is now at this point that I learn that Mr Jackson was in fact a junkie hopped up on enough meds to kill a whorde of wild wilderbeeste. He of course passed his medical with flying colours and went on to practice for his upcoming shows that he both dreaded and looked forward to. His dancing was energetic and not dissimilar to that of a 20 year old with back problems, a hernia and an aging disease similar to Benjamin Button.
He was in high spirits and excited about the upcoming tour. He was also angry about it and cried himself to sleep.

Since his death, Michael has been cremated, he has also been buried at forest lawn and neverland, put on ice, dug up again and is now awaiting to be buried on his birthday as a sort of loving present from his father.]

Michael loves his children. Never, never would he do anything that would harm themselves and their children. The children were always first in his life. He had problems in the past, but today is different. Before doing anything, Michael would think of their children. He would not do anything that would leave their children alone.

Funny, she is so sad for the "death" of his brother and grief he could be able to release an album. Wow! I think she might be too busy to put the man who "killed" her brother in jail. But no, she is too busy and preoccupied with his new album. Very, very, very interesting that...

For the portion of the interview I saw and I pay much attention to body language of Janet. I was surprised with it. No tears, no red eyes and no voice choked... any kind of emotion when talking about the "death" of his brother. A great performance!

If that were my brother and I saw how he was basically killing himself, what family does is get him help, whether he wants it or not. I would threaten to call child protective services, threaten to go to the media, or do a press conference. Of course he was in denial! My brother would 'drink the water' if I had to pour it down his throat!!! I feel such anger towards all who were in a position to help but did not. They should have been successful-that they were not makes no sense to me. He had problems in the past, it is fact. But today is completely different. I hate it. Why do people have this image of Michael? Why does everyone think he has always been an idiot? Why does everyone believe that he took all those junk medicine? Why does everyone treat and speak of Michael as if he were a child who is not aware of anything and do not know what you're doing?

Obviously if Michael took all those rubbish of drugs he could hardly leave the house. It is a fact.

Love your posts and agree 100%. I understand how Michael became dependent. Having said that, I also know what it takes to intervene.

Even though so many people warned him, he knew better because he was special and strong and in control; people just didn't understand. Yes, Michael would definitely be thinking he had it all under control. And he may have really pulled himself off of things for some time….. except there were so many pressures with the show and his mind couldn’t turn off … so propofol, just to get some sleep, just when he really needed it.... and some benzos, just for tonight….

It sounds hard and cruel but like you said, tough love, a reality check – a slap in the face that can penetrate the denial is the only thing that could make that horse drink or make him swallow the pill. Yes, shoving it down his throat so to speak. (Too many metaphors but they paint a picture.)

Slamming him with the reality that he was damaging his children by his behaviour. He could lose his children, think of the kids facing that cruel world without him. Ask what part of using these meds as crutches is being in control. And make it clear that he was not fooling people as he thought he was. I would hit him with it fast and hard. And I certainly would not tolerate promises, I would tell him I can watch a video if I want a song and dance.

However, unless I was a relative, I am sure that I would be shown the door very quickly and prevented from ever returning. For all Michael's protestations about being about truth, he surrounded himself with yes-men, people who were either soft or could play along. And yet when someone who is dependent is at a low point, that is when they need someone strong and knowledgeable the most. Of course, Michael only had Murray.

So we just go in circles, knowing what was required but being too far removed to help. Family that was close enough to help but not knowing what was required.

I think imo we need to wait for more information on this investigation,and what we are going to hear may be good or bad,but untill then our opinions are really just our opinions every single one of them.We were not there and we only are going by hearsay and the media,which we all know you cant believe either one.
We need to pick & choose our battles here and for one quit bashing the Jackson family,we do not know them and we certainly dont live with them,again we are going on what was reported to us.
Sometimes I think they give us the runaround because they really dont want us to know the truth,and frankly it's really none of our business anyway.We are mad because of what happened and its too easy to blame everyone except Michael.
Don't forget Michael got exactly what he wanted.. to escape his torment
unfortunately it killed him.
No matter how hard we try to blame someone else we really need to keep an open mind and wait for crediable evidence to come forth.
But most of the blame IMO should go to Michael.

I agree with you completely. All of the conflicting stories is Mike's way of letting us know that they are all lies. Jermaine has never known anything about Mike doing drugs. Latoya said he was clean. Janet says he was a "druggie." She also can't remember where she was when she found out. New York or Atlanta. I also agree about the complete lack of emotion and passion. I think this is all a DEA sting. I swear I do combined with the greatest movie of all time. "Da troot" will prevail!

There is no confirmation about the Siberian ice abruptly melting, and methane is already used as a SOURCE of bio energy in some countries. The only person who knows who Michael really is, is your mother and anyone else. All the brothers, especially Joe, are taking the time to somehow is fact. The one that has been a bit quiet is Janet. But for me none of them were close to Michael as they are saying today. It is a big lie. This is just my opinion. Michael was clean for the shows. I believe his tolerance came from the past, he was definitely taking medication over the years. His scalp operations, his trial. I don't blame him, it is just a slippery slope, that is all. However, I do believe that he was in denial about propofol because it worked so well when he couldn't sleep on tour in the 90's. So if he had success with it in the past, why would he believe that there was a problem now? After all, he had found a doctor to administer, so it would be safe....

It is more rationalizing perhaps than denial. But the result is the same.

I believe Michael was a 'functional addict.' My sister was a functional alcoholic. She has three kids, and ran her home, worked and no one really could tell...except for me. I knew her. And I did literally slap her in the face to get help!! It took 2 years of my threats, and finally a call to child protective services. Her kids are now in the custody of their father while my sister works at sobriety. Again, if he were my brother, I would have kicked his ass!!! And for those who still do not believe he had a drug problem, his sister said he did. She would not say it if not true.

I will never pay attention to everything they say bad about Michael. It always hurt me so much and hurt too much, for I love Michael as a human being and artist and will always love him. He has always been in my life, my childhood and my adolescence. All these bad things to say about it is a great offense. I hate it! I'll always be on his side and always will defend. 🙂

People should learn to keep your mouth shut, but it is so difficult! They feel a great need to talk things to the world.

you are very strong. It certainly hurts to dish out tough love. Many many people are filled with love, but either don't have the strength or the knowledge to do what is needed. Your sister is very lucky to have someone strong enough to do what it takes.

I have yet to listen to Janet's full interview and hear everything that she said but reading the article above I have to say I disagree with her statement:
"You can't make 'em drink the water. I'm a true believer in prayer, a big believer in prayer – but it's, it's something that you can't do for them. Something they have to do for themselves."

This may be true in many other cases but in the case of a drug addict it's really exactly the opposite – they can't do this for themselves and you have to make them drink the water !

Anything less than that is just an excuse for not being devoted or brave enough to make a change.

I know that it must have been very complicated in Michael's case because he was a celebrity and because of the way the media would have blown it out of proportion if the family had ever taken a more serious and public stand on their intervention but that too is just an excuse.
If they knew he was addicted then they knew his life was in danger – that's all they should have been concerned about.

I'll even go as far as to say – if they knew about Michael's addiction and they didn't help him the way a family is supposed to then they have no right to point their finger at Dr.Murray either – because at the end of the day they do the same thing he did – took the money he was giving them and said "Yes, Michael".

I also have something to say about the reason why no one succeeded in intervening and getting Michael off the drugs – it's because all they used to tell him was that he should stop them – they never offered him anything he could replace them with – like love, understanding, patience, safe environment where he didn't have to watch his back and front and sides for traitors the whole time.

One day I had a dream, it was a dream of love, peace and Serenity. This dream explained what I needed to do, to save me so I could share it with you, so you could share it with them.

It told me to love my neighbour as I loved myself, help the man that is beggin on the street, give a listening ear to the lonely soul, and buy a pair of shoes for the child that wants to run...help all the people that the world has forgotten about, share what you can , so one day someone can share with you!!

Thank you for the lovely remarks. My grandfather was an alcoholic as well, but not very functional. It tore me apart to call my sister out, but I saw her destroying herself, and I could not allow that to happen. That is why this whole unsuccessful family intervention stuff makes me so angry. My sister still feels anger towards me, and that's okay as long as she is getting better and the kids are safe.

You and I have similiar experiences. "Functional" ,as you said, is the key word. Many people who are addicted to pharmaceutical meds and even alcohol can function just fine. That's how they continue to get away with it and perpetuate the denial that "they can handle it." Addicts don't necessarily stagger around and look drugged up. Good explanation, girl! You and I speak from experience.

I have tremendous respect for Janet Jackson, and believe that she wanted only the best for her brother Michael. But elements of her story do not jibe.
Was she in New York when she heard the news, or was she in Atlanta? She's told two different stories. Which is the truth?
If Michael was such a hardcore addict, why didn't his body show evidence of it? Janet saw him just three weeks before he died at a family dinner. If he was in such terrible shape, she could have staged an intervention right then and there, with all the family present as back up.
Hindsight is twenty-twenty, and I'm sure there are many people who wish they could go back and do things differently. But there's no need to go back and change the facts.

Thank you and so right on!!! They really think they can handle it, and not be a stitistic. It really is amazing how a person builds a tolerance to substances, and can function under the influence w/out skipping a beat. I saw changes in my sister I guess maybe I would have overlooked had we not been so close. I miss our closeness and I hope we recapture it some day. At least I don't have to mourn and miss my sister. This is better that ALANON!!

did not they say michael was healthy at the time he died. each drug that was found in his system was given to him by that murray character and since he calls himself a doctor then he is the only one responsible.

I also give my view points on people focusing on the "hoax" as to me, I feel it is old news..big deal. You either think Michael is alive, or you think Michael is dead..okay I get it! Lets move on..

So as far as me "taking" over the blog, I think you are sadly mistaken there. And yes, you are right, I am just a normal blogger like you, expressing my opinions like everyone else. So I am not sure why I am the focus of all the negative attention when in fact, I am always postive.

No different than the ones who post the same things about Michael and all the 'clues" they find.

I have to admit I did have some respect for TMZ because they've been decent enough for a tabloid and at times it even seemed like they were on Michael's side.
You can never trust what a tabloid will come up with next but they need to know they are on the up curve right now only because of they mostly positive coverage of everything MJ related.

I liked the way they slammed Sammy Sosa the other day – I don't know if anyone noticed it but they had his picture next to the picture of the "white chic" character from the same movie saying only one of these two did this to themselves for laughs .. lol I liked it because he was going around saying he didn't try to look like MJ (as if he ever could).
