They shouldn't even put the scene on the dvd.

MaryRM   November 4th, 2009 7:04 pm ET

they shouldn't even put the movie on DVD – ugg... 🙂

RFergy   November 4th, 2009 7:23 pm ET

LOL Mary I agree.. it's stupid!!!!! Ugg is right!!

still me just a new name   November 4th, 2009 7:32 pm ET

It should be complete removed from the dvd...period !

Brigida   November 4th, 2009 8:04 pm ET

I've heard about this "Bruno" and that little I know it's not for me.

Did you see the video about LaToya and Michael's murder?

Brigida   November 4th, 2009 8:09 pm ET

Ok, sorry, I thought this was a new interview... didn't see the date. But it's good to remember, since their still are contradictions in it compared to what LaToya says now.

8080   November 4th, 2009 8:33 pm ET

If he was dead 3 hours before arriving of 911 and latoya says he was warm. The man is not dead

Brigida   November 4th, 2009 8:45 pm ET

This is the contradiction I was talking about! LaToya seems to turn her ideas around every month or so. What should we believe now?
Let's wait if he is dead or alive, ok? : )

thoughts_r_us   November 4th, 2009 8:46 pm ET

I miss him!!!

8080... I read that too.. why are they lying to us?!?!

did you all see the new creditors claims against his estate?? I am kind of nervous about the whole Dileo/Tohme/Colony connection with the bank note sale on Neverland.. Any thoughts??

Mila   November 4th, 2009 9:16 pm ET

The believers will have a field-day with this interview (even though it's old now) – so the children were hysterical but as soon as they saw their father (lying dead) they calmed down, hugged and kissed him, told him they loved him and were ok ever since ... hmmm.

As for the Bruno scene – well, why exactly did LaToya agree to sit on a person and eat from the belly of another. I don't think the "Michael Jackson is gone" safe haven should be used to cover up idiotism like this.
If she agreed to participate in it then she's no better than any other fool who would have done that.

MourningMJ   November 4th, 2009 9:23 pm ET

This is LaToya's business and does not fall in the category at all of Michael Jackson. They are two seperate humans and if she chooses to add her "bonus cameo" to the DVD, who really cares? The movie sucked anyway. This would never ever be a reflection of Michael Jackson of course.

Mila   November 4th, 2009 9:35 pm ET

I'm not getting the feeling that they're releasing this scene with her blessing but yes, like I said above I don't think she should get protection just because she's Michael's sister – it was a stupid thing to participate in and she may have to suck it up like everyone else and possibly offer an explanation.

MourningMJ   November 4th, 2009 9:48 pm ET

Hi, Mila, how are you? I wanted to post you on the other "other" blog, (2 blogs ago) but it was so full, it took too long. You posted a poem that was so beautiful, Mila, I want to go back and print it out. It is simply a gem and you should really embrace your poetic talent because God sure has blessed you, sweet one. I look forward to more....
I agree with you, I'm not quite clear on what LaToya's motives were for participating in the movie, but it was her decision and it was completed long before Michael passed away. I'm sure LaToya's last concern on her moral list of things to worry about is her 90 second cameo in that really dumb movie. I'd say let's just give her a break; like you said, she will just have to suck it up and move along. I never questioned her love and loyality to Michael, so this "movie blog" is just another way for LKL to open up another blog to the MJ fans. I am almost confident that not one MJ fan will be thinking of this movie in the next seven days. Thank you Mila.. take care <3

I am confused,,,,,,,,,,,,some are talking about an interview (not this movie) that LaToya said something about Michael's murder or not being dead?????

can someone fill me in plz?

8-29-58 FROM USA   November 4th, 2009 10:13 pm ET

i just wanted to mention that TMZ has put out an apalling story about michael. they are now saying that dr. klein has confirmed that michael liked to pee in front of everybody~especially in public. if he had done that he would have been arrested for incedent exposure and the like. and personally i know from being a fan of not just the entertain he offered up but the man himself from the beginning michael was far too classy to exhibit that kind of behavior. in fact even if he hadn't been an entertainer but just a friend i would have loved him just as much as i always did and still do.

Susan62509   November 4th, 2009 10:21 pm ET

I feel LaToya is a highly emotional person. After MJ's death, she's even more emotional, which is a natural reaction. Bruno's movies are sarcastic humor, so possibly LaToya did this scene at the time under the concept of humor. I don't know.

As far as MJ's body still being warm in questionable. Usually hositals keep the air conditioning cool to keep fresh air circulating. Immediately after hearing a person has passed away, especially a family member, you go into shock mode.

The video is outdated now, but thank you to CNN for posting it along with the other topic today because numerous comments have been made contributing to extremely long blogs for 1 topic per day.

Mila   November 4th, 2009 10:29 pm ET

I actually think they just invited her for an interview and tricked her into that scene.
There was yet another moment from this interview where Sacha asked to see her phone and after she hands over to him he calls his assistant telling him to note down Michael's number.
I think that was the moment which ticked her off to discontinue the interview.

MourningMJ   November 4th, 2009 10:30 pm ET

No worries, sweet one. I just saved your site to my favorites so I can read it in peace and quiet and absorb your penetrating words. What do you mean, however, only write in English? I assumed English was your native tongue and if it is not, you sure had me fooled! lol. Of coure, Mila, I read everything you post. I do not respond to everything because the volume of posts is just too high, but I always remember something special, Mila......

Mila   November 4th, 2009 10:37 pm ET

I'm from Bulgaria and my mother tongue is called Bulgarian – it's a Slavic language very similar to Russian, Serbian and Macedonian.

I used to write poems in Bulgarian when I was a school-girl but they were all in Bulgarian.
The first one I wrote in English was for Michael – back in 1993 – I wrote it to support him in the accusations (of course I never believed any of that ** and I was shocked that someone would say something like this about him).
I was kind of silly back then to think it would reach him if I sent it to Neverland which is what I did with it .. lol

Luda   November 4th, 2009 10:38 pm ET

Michael was far too classy to exhibit that kind of behavior

Right. And Klein should have remembered Michael always said how much he was a "private" person... This story is nonsense.
I don't even understand how Klein (or the journalist) have been able to imagine something like this... it's really odd...

di   November 4th, 2009 10:41 pm ET

i don't believe every single word coming from this woman's mouth.. i just don't like her at all..she seems to me plastic and mess up.. i can't believe she's katherine's daughter..

di   November 4th, 2009 10:50 pm ET

and as for this pee stuff...can you ever imagine MJ peeing in front of otherswhattah! hahahahahah! hilarious! it's just crazy thing to pay attention with..klien is a desperate man and a loser..poor guy he should be bringing himself to a psychiatrist..and TMZ? no soul at all..all for the>>>whatever! can't say anything

sherry   November 4th, 2009 11:21 pm ET

tmz's pee story is just crap omg!~

I know we needed a new blog but did it have to be this??!!

MourningMJ   November 4th, 2009 11:44 pm ET

You are extremely luck to be blessed with the ability to speak the lanuage of l.o.v.e in so many languages. But with l.o.v.e, we need no translation. Of course no one believed that b.s. accusation story. And to believe that it actually got the media attention it did is sickening because they could have utilized that time to invest in the positive contributions Michael gave to us. Well, Mila, please keep up your positive blogging and beautiful poems as Michael would have wanted it that way.... Or does want it that way. However us Michael Jackson fans choose to look at it.... <3

I have so missed talking with you .How are you?! It was just that after seeing "Michael" (that's the way it's listed at our theaters), my mind was mush for a couple of days. And it was just better to be quiet.. Just couldn't get my thoughts together. Did you post a review? I looked for your posting as I always do and didn't see it. I look forward to seeing what you thought.
Blessings and curses...that's a perfect phrase for Michael's life. You couldn't have said it better.
I watched it a second time last night, and one of the thoughts that came to mind was that he had so many demons in his life that he never came to terms with. There were scenes where he was really into it, but then others where I felt he was just going through the motions. I really feel he was looking for something more. This whole tour was going to put him back into the lifestyle off stage where his troubles began...difficulty sleeping, resorting to Diprivan and other meds, the chronic pain issues, the anxiety. And I think he knew that. I think God just didn't want to see his child Michael go through that all again.
Anyway, just my little opinion. It is sooo good to be able to vent and share opinions with you!
How was your Halloween? I had kids coming to my door from all over!!

Susan62509   November 5th, 2009 12:14 am ET

Hi Mila: 10:29

I didn't know about the interview. Thank you for bringing me up to date.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 12:50 am ET

It is good to be back, thank you! How are you? As I told MMJ, after seeing the film, my mind was mush. I didn't know where to start to express my feelings. And then the day after, an overwhelming sadness came over me. Yes, the questions came back. His life did not have to end like this. The scene that was so very disturbing to me was when he was rehearsing Human Nature with Kenny standing there...he definitely did not look healthy. I gasped when I saw how skinny he looked. Those who were around him at this time, family and friends, will have to live with this. And the really sad part of it is, some of them won't care. They'll just go on with their lives.
I won't repeat myself here. Just read what I wrote to MMJ. Michael was looking for something different. And going on this tour with his issues with sleep, drugs, chronic pain, was not going to be the answer.
I'm so glad to have you and MMJ to "talk" to about all this! Thanks to both of you for your words of wisdom when some days I can't even get my thoughts together!

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 1:06 am ET

Another twisted story about Michael clarified. Thank you Taymoor!

"Taymoor Marmarchi: When Michael was on tour and needed to pee urgently in between songs he was performing, he would make the entire crew and team turn around so that he could pee in the corner (as there would be no time to go to the toilet)"..

Makes sense to me.

Mila   November 5th, 2009 1:22 am ET

I bet it would have been much faster to run to the farthest restroom on the set (how far can it be ?) than to get the entire crew on his stage to turn around – so no, I don't buy any of that.

And I'm sorry to mention this – it's extremely painful for me to even think about it – but they say when Michael had to submit to the body search in 1993 he cried the whole time and begged them to leave him alone.
That's how private a person he was.

He said it himself – "it was the most humiliating ordeal of my life"...

Mila   November 5th, 2009 1:30 am ET

There's video underneath the movie article – totally unrelated and I myself don't know why they have it there but it's an old LKL show with a journalist who spoke with LaToya shortly after Michael's death. That's the interview we're talking about – it has a lot of details about what exactly was said by LaToya.

marin-indonesia   November 5th, 2009 5:31 am ET

About this pee story, did tmz want to open the old accusation againts michael back in 93? Because in this pee story we also read something like this "it explain why the boy that accused him in 93 can described michael's private area and match with police investigation. I'm curious..

Hi! How are you? I've missed you too! Halloween was crazy here too! I'm still recoverying! I've been sending shots out to you on the blog but they are so full you probably didn't see them. Of course I wanted to know your thoughts of TII. I did see your post and responded to you on the other blog, I will find it and repost it in here, Sandy, I promise. Please keep checking this blog and the other MJ blog (the newer one) throughout the day. I completely support and agree with your thoughts on MJ. Enough was enough already. How much can one put themselves through? Not just one tour, but many many tours, many many heartaches, abandonment, sleepless nights. Like I said on the other blog- Michael could keep all of his number ones. I'd rather have him here if that's the sacrifice we would have to make. I know the movie left you speechless- I still wonder to this days what the very last words were that came out of Michael's mouth. I wish it wasn't with that doctor though. I hope they were with God.
Sandy, here was my review of TII that was posted on the October 30th blog. I will post my post to you later on. See you soon....

My This Is It Review-

This is the first time in 110 minutes I did not blink. I was involved in this movie more than just an admirer or a guest. It was as if no one else was in the theater witnessing the same divination as me as this masterpiece was too brillant to share. All of my senses here highly acute as I processed every single second of Michael's screenplay of his life. He commanded not only the stage but his troops as well. It was clear from second one that the General's artillery consisted nothing more of his voice and feet. These are pretty significant weapons when you are on the media frontline rebuilding and protecting your teritory. Unfortunately, this was only a miniscule battle in Michael's life that every enemy should have easily surrendered to and waive their white flags in a cowardly fashion. Michael looked breathtaking and sounded flawless. He left me breathless after every performance. I couldn't hlep to wonder at points behind his presentations if there was a hint of exhaustion, but I suppose anyone would be if they planned to launch the biggest tour in world history. This show was to have no limits and boundaries as Michael himself was the limit and he was the boundary. I had said before many times it's performances and innocent gestures such as these that enrage me so much that it is a very fine line between "What a tragedy" and "What a waste". But today, right at this moment, it's neither. It's just.... "Wow... So this is Michael Jackson....".

Morning MMJ – beautiful post. I missed blogging last night and it looks like I missed some good ones.

I'm going to see TII again tonight, bringing a non-fan friend. She is not a hater, just doesn't really know anything about Michael since the 80s. But she is an avid environmentalist. I am sure she will be impressed not only with Michael's concerns for the environment but she will definitely be impressed with his amazing talent.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 8:52 am ET

I did see your posting/response on the other blog. It was your review that I could not find. (don't want you looking unnecessarily for your posts if you don't have to 🙂 ) Anyway, time for work. Will talk more later. Your review was right on girl!

I think I misjudged Latoya a little before...
I think she's sincere in her quest to get he truth out.

mariau   November 5th, 2009 10:33 am ET

i believe Latoya, she said this since the beginning.. and she knew
this video is rerun.. taken somewhere in July.. this is proof that MJ was murdered.
the scenario looks so bad... go Latoya move fast and fine justice to MJ.

irene   November 5th, 2009 10:34 am ET

Did anyone read Shmuleys book. I just read a 100 pages, in a few hours.
Extraordinary, Michaels words... so intelligent, so humble, so sweet, so sensitive, so honest...

Pity Shmuley thinks he owns truths. He gives his OWN interpretation of Michaels words.

He indicated he didnt know MJ at all – not really.

It illustrates why MIchael banned him out of his life at a certain point:

Yes, Boteach, your "advice" became too demanding, cause you didnt know him.

You say Michael was a narcissist: I think YOU are – concluding of your some of the things you wrote.

irene   November 5th, 2009 10:37 am ET

Uuughh... and you are a RABBI....!!

Who are you to judge, to claim the truth.

You dont know anything.

Besides that, Michael was in a different period, in 2001.
Thats eight (!) years ago....

Bleeghh... look at the eyes of this man... he scares me...

Hes very intelligent, but hes scary.

Marin-indonesia   November 5th, 2009 11:13 am ET

Okay, I'm trying the best I could to share my opinion before this blog became full and my mobile phone can't load it. And I try to explain in in my poor english.
I believe michael was murdered, and dr conrad is responsible for his death. Why? Because everything was not right from the first time. The cocktail drugs he has been received, and the unempathical atittude this dr has shown. He was not called 911 ASAP, he doesn't do the CPR based on procedure, he refused to sign michael's death certificate, he even run away after michael anounced died at the hospital. He didn't even take his car from Michael's mansion. Less emphaty for the family.. It's bizzare! Ackward!
Michael might have problem dealing with drugs, but he was carefull enough to ask AEG hire a doctor, because he knew how serious his pain and insomnia was. Michael even admit that he always feel anxious during the tours, he doesn't eat, hard to sleep.. Not because he wanted to but because it come by it self. Imagine how he felt when he was doing this comeback tour plan with the negativity and high response, high expectation, cynical voices from the public all around the world! Stop calling Michael Jackson a drug addict! I would die earlier than him if I was at his position receiving a lot of humiliation, inuendo, hatred like michael received in life.
That's a wrap!!

to sandy houston at 8:26 am ET, thank you for posting the link, i'm enjoying reading every words, and its also very lightening. 🙂

MourningMJ   November 5th, 2009 11:43 am ET

Thank you for the compliment. I'm so happy you have encouraged a non-MJ fan to witness Michael's brillance in motion. Your friend will appreciate the value of a human more than anything. None of us have to be MJ's fans to recognize that every soul is a work of Art from God; some of us are painted in oils, some of us are painted in water colors, some of us are sculpted with clay. Michael was sculpted with Magic. Enjoy the movie again, Mary....
IHMJ xoxo

@SANDY- HOUSTON- Thank you again very much for the continued critical links that every MJ fan should review. I wish everyone would leave the "what if's" in the garbage and concentrate on reality here. So much easier to hide behind the "what if"s" rather than the "becauses". I'm so happy you found my post regarding your review on TII. The blogs are getting so full, the only reason why I remembered where I posted was because I saw the movie on 11/1/09. @ irene: i agree about GERALDO RULES!! 😀

Jen   November 5th, 2009 1:35 pm ET

I can relate to the kids reaction upon seeing Michael's body. When my mom passed away, when I was 23, I went and saw her body in the hospital chapel I cried and cried, but afterwards there was this calmness and peace that ran through me and I felt uplifed. The days leading up to her service 5 days later I stil could not cry and felt this energy that she was finally at peace I couldn't do anything but be happy that she had found what she was longing for for years.....peace.

I imagine Michael's children finally saw their father at peace and that is why they were able to handle it so well. I found it very touching at the July memorial that they were always looking up as I am sure they felt him smiling down on them.

Victoria J   November 5th, 2009 1:48 pm ET

I am glad I found you, finally! I have done a bit of posting this morning on the longer blog. Your thoughts are always wonderfully put together and give me new nuances to think about when it comes to Michael. I understand what you are saying and all the questions that seem to mount when we take those closer looks. But I have to agree with our friend, MMJ, in her post to you that we have to concentrate on the realities. You just wonder when is the hurt going to lighten? I hope you had a good Wednesday evening singing.

Hey, MourningMJ! Hey MaryRM! –
I am glad to see reality is here. Lovely posts throughout from both of you. MaryRM, it is good you will be going with a friend who you can encourage, though I am confident she will be impressed with no nudging needed. The dialogues that people can come up with when it comes to Michael never deals in that reality which MMJ discussed. I find myself in difficult places sometimes with that, but have always leaned on the truth and it usually works. There is no hiding behind the truth. It is freedom.

Victoria J   November 5th, 2009 2:04 pm ET

I was touched by your post, and I am sorry for your loss. I find it touching, too, that Michael's children are always look heavenward. I have said it many times, but Michael's parenting can be seen so clearly in just little things like this. You don't learn those kinds of things overnight, they have to be instilled in you. Thank you again for sharing from a hurt place in your heart.

lola   November 5th, 2009 2:49 pm ET

I know many have concerns about Mj's weight/energy etc. in the movie. However, I don't think we would be as concerned if Mj didn't die in June during the rehearsals. If he was performing now in London, we would hardly notice his weight loss. I believe AEG had no way of knowing the tragedy that was to take place on June 25 or that MJ was in poor health. Afterall, they hired a doctor to attend to him 24/7.......Yes, they may have pushed too hard and been too demanding. They wanted the best show they could get, and I am sure MJ did too. I am grateful to AEG for giving him the opportunity when others turned their backs on him.
The production seemed too spectacular to be for just 10 concerts. It had to be for more from the outset. I blame Murray for Mj's death and I cannot understand why it is taking so long for LAPD to arrest him. I think Klein is also guilty of enabling as well as probably many other doctors. But, it was Murray, alone who is responsible.

Jen   November 5th, 2009 2:49 pm ET

HI Victoria J

Thanks for the kind words. I lost mom 7 years ago, but it still feels like yesterday and to this day I can still only well up at the loss and be sad as she too was an artist who was 1 week from her come back show that was to reintroduce herself to the art world when she died suddenly, but I still feel like she is at peace and can only look towards the future.

I wish people would understand that each person and family grieves differently, look across the world and you will see many different cultures grieving in their own way. Personally I think Michael's children have been surrounded by a lot of positive influences during their grief and I think they carry a lot of hope for the future. I didn't think they looked bored at the service as some reports have stated, I was actually smiling at my mom's service because we made it into a celebration, sure there were some tears, but we were all so thankful that we had her and that we still have her to guide us. I think Michael's children are reassured in the hope that they will be reunited again in heaven.

Thanks again Victoria, it was an unexpected post for me to share that, but it felt good (and easy) to write it 🙂

lola   November 5th, 2009 2:59 pm ET

Actually, I don't think MJ was in poor health. Remember, we are watching TII with very critical eyes, looking for signs of ill health, because tragically we know how it ends. Even so, Mj appears healthy, strong, vibrant.and lucid up until 24 hours before death. All fingers point to Murray. I believe Mj could have done the 50 concerts and was preparing himself for that........

Jen   November 5th, 2009 3:14 pm ET

HI Lola,

I agree with you on the scale of the production, it certainly appears to be scaled to be more than 10 shows. I don't think that Michael was any skinnier than his Bad Tour, but that he carried the weight differently, such that it seemed more noticeable in his face.

I agree all fingers point to Dr. Murray and it doesn't make sense that what we see on the screen and what is coming out beind the scenes where happening on the same timeline. Its incredible to witness and if true then Michael was stronger than any of us could have imagined to deal with raising three children, working night and day to execute the greatest come back show of all time, be recording and dealing with or on the road to recovering from some sort of addiction. How could one man do it all at once? He was only human....

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 3:31 pm ET

Yes, as I was telling MMJ these blogs fill up and it's sometimes difficult to find a certain post. I always look for you both!
The Christmas rehearsals are going well. Thanks for asking. I just realized last night that 2 additional concerts have been added! Where was I when the schedule was handed out!!? I'm not complaining really, I love the Christmas season. (Are you familiar with Dr Ed Young, Second Baptist of Houston? I'm so blessed that I found this church).
I think it will be a long time until that hurt lightens.
Listening to his song "Jam" right now. Just love it!! And it helps a little.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 3:40 pm ET

I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. My mother lives with me and as she becomes more frail I am reminded that she won't be with me forever. Jen, I find your postings about Michael's children so from the heart. It's going to be difficult for them as the days go on. But they have the heart of their father and that with the love that surrounds them will help them through.

bittersweet   November 5th, 2009 4:03 pm ET

Hello all who here now.
I think that Michael was healthy always. Why are we assured that he was is sick? We did not see his personal card of health.
Unfortunately people trust mass-media. The reason of "death" of Michael the unreal. Drugs were very strong and he could not live in such condition many years. Hence the doctor does not exist also Drugs used nobody

I am hoping that Christmas pageants include some Michael Jackson music......."We Are The World", or "Heal The World" or maybe even a Michael Jackson medley. I am going to suggest it to my children's music teacher at their school.

HI Sandy -Houston

Thanks for your post, I hope you have many more years with your mom and it is wonderful that you can be in the position to take care of her now the way she took care of you. I bet she feels very loved! It's a difficult loss when it does happen, but I believe that the way you live and love them today it will make it a bit more bearable when the time comes.

I really believe Michael's children will be fine and as you said with their father's heart they will get through their loss. Many children have lost one or both parents with less support than Michael's and have grown up to be upstanding and loving individuals. I have no doubt that they will be remarkable souls the more they grow.

Hi ..How are you?

Victoria J   November 5th, 2009 6:13 pm ET

Hey, Sandy-H
I was locking up the office and hoping to hear what Dr. Klein has to say before I head home, since I am sure that will be the topic of discussion for the next few hours, but something is terribly amiss with my sound! I am hearing nothing, but unfortunately have a very clear picture of him. Harvey looks none too impressed either, I might say, from his body language. Maybe it's a good thing I have no sound, huh? I don't understand "friends" like this, and Michael had way too many of them that fall into this category. To answer your question, I am not familiar with your church. I wondered if maybe Beth Moore went there, but I looked her up and saw she is at 1st Baptist. I did read up on your church though a little bit. I bet your music ministry is awesome with such a large church. Take care.

I imagine your mother's many commonalities with Michael and his death – an artist's comeback – has gripped your heart. But your comments are very positive and I am glad you have been afforded this peace. This ending to one of your posts does make one ponder..."How could one man do it all at once? He was only human"....I hope Michael's death investigation comes to a close soon and we get some answers to our questions and Michael receives justice. Will keep an eye out for you.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 6:37 pm ET

It's those what ifs that get us off course. The hearsays and the some of the stories I've read about Michael absolutely astound me. I'm all for finding and researching for the facts.
Something a little funny that I noticed in the movie. Michael singing and dancing AND chewing that gum! All at the same time! 🙂 Without choking on it! Now that's talent! 🙂 😉

Jen   November 5th, 2009 7:36 pm ET

HI Victoria,

The similarities between my mom's situation at the time of her death and Michael's is very eery for me, the come back after years away, the feverish planning, the perfecting, the sleeplessness, not eating, the addiction. Mom's was wine, but it had nothing to do with her death. Essentially it was her name and the public had their expectations, she had her expectations of what she thought they perceived. She could have painted Goofy and everyone would have loved it. Michael could have sang his grocery list and people would have gone wild. I have seen first hand how one can be swept away so much that the more in control they try to be the more out of control they actually become. It takes a toll. And I see that in Michael's death, he tried so hard to control and perfect the work that he essentially became unaware of the loss of control he had over himself, and I believe other enabalers saw this and took advantage of it.

Like you Victoria and so many others I am so looking forward to the day that the Jackson's can get some answers and we see that justice will be served.

Victoria J   November 5th, 2009 7:59 pm ET

Your insights into the control issues which I feel Michael had as well are thought provoking. I am so thankful for your post at the moment as I find myself at different points of the day being very introspective about life in general, and then I always seem to come back to Michael and try to glean what we are to learn from his life, from his death, because many of us struggle with some of his same issues. Let me say, too, that I love the humor you interject...painting Goofy and singing the grocery list. True artists can mesmerize us with just their presence, they don't have to do too much for us to be in awe. They are that gifted that they radiate and we just want to soak it up. Sadly, we participate in this way in their resolving their own inner issues. If I do not return this evening, please have a pleasant night.

Anne   November 5th, 2009 8:09 pm ET

It makes me sad because he knew he could not tour anymore. He said it would kill him because he could not eat, or drink or sleep. I read an article that said it took a while for him to come around to the idea of performing again. He was right. It did kill him.

Jen   November 5th, 2009 8:16 pm ET

HI Victoria.

I have really enjoyed our converstation this afternoon, and you're not the only one that has been contemplating life in general. It is awe inspiriing how one person's death, whom we never met, can make the light in our brains go on so much that we get lost in our own thoughts and challenge ourselves emotionally, physically, spiritually, and figuratively in some cases, what if I go this way, what will happen if I don't do this, what is my purpose.... All these things are down right mind blowing and I am glad that those who accept this personal challenge of self realization can come away with love in their heart instead of not feeling like they have done enough and reaching for their 'control wand' to try and make things better. I guess its all about self love and acceptance for yourself and others. I envy that and strive for that in my own everyday life. Michael's death has been such a powerful loss on so many levels!

I might hang around for a bit, but I wish you a wonderful evening as well and hope to talk to you again, you are beautiful in your words and I enjoyed our talk 🙂

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 8:23 pm ET

Please keep in your prayers all those affected by the shootings at Fort Hood.

Just a reminder of the evil in our world. It's times like these I am thankful for the One who holds this world in his hands.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 8:36 pm ET

Your posts have made me a bit very heartfelt. Yes, I am blessed and thankful for every day my Mom is still with me. I do think that God uses death as a way of reminding us of the importance of life and all it's blessings. I've always had a compassion for people and their sufferings but I find myself challenged to do more since Michael's passing. I never think I do enough. For reasons I still can't fully explain, his death has hit me hard and I don't think the hurt will go away anytime soon.
Singing the grocery list...:) I like your humor.
Thanks again for your input on this blog.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 8:53 pm ET

It's probably better that the sound on your computer was not working. You didn't have to listen to Klein's rambling nonsense! 🙂
Beth Moore is one of my favorite Bible study teachers. She has such a gift. She has a Tuesday night study going on now on the book of powerful.
You and I know that nothing in life happens by chance. I believe God will use Michael's death in a positive way. To teach those who will listen... to value and honor the life, the gift we are given. In simple ways everyday. To have courage to do the thing we feel we cannot do. You and I know where that strength comes from.
Michael touched so many in his lifetime, some we will never know of. And as difficult as his life was, he took responsibility for that gift and practiced it every day of his life.

I hope you have a peaceful evening.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 9:08 pm ET

I understand what you mean about your senses being highly acute. I was trying to take it all in, not wanting to miss a moment of this genious at work. Wasn't he just in charge of it all? Michael would have been a great director...of film and dance. His voice and his feet...he could have stood out there on that stage and sang and danced without the band. Michael's voice would be the music.
And the young and so in awe of every move he made, every word he said. They will carry what they learned from him for the rest of their lives. I mean, my gosh, they were crying before they even got started with happy they were to have been chosen.
In conversations today, friends who may not have been as familiar with Michael's work as you and I all said the two phrases you stated at the end of your blog. What a tragedy, what a waste.

MMJ, I hope you have a peaceful evening. I have a cake to bake, so I may not be back on here for awhile...if I don't want to burn it! It is always a pleasure to "talk" with you.

Sandy-Houston   November 5th, 2009 9:10 pm ET

they said the two phrases after seeing This Is It.

Jen   November 5th, 2009 9:28 pm ET

Awe Sandy-Houston I didn't mean to make you weepy, but I hope that they aren't tears of sadness. You are absolutely right and very insightfull in your beliefs, I too think God does use death to remind us what is important in our lives. The whole pop-culture way of life the last few years where many, many people have become so materialistic has made us forget about the simple blessings we have, like eachother. I like to believe Michael's death was a wake up call for the world and no doubt his message to love the earth and your neighbour will be around for generations to come. I hope when I am 90 and sitting in my retirement home that I am still rocking around to Michael and see my children and grandchildren spreading his message of love, peace and hope!

Thank you to both you and Victoria for making me feel like what I had to say was of value and appreciated. I will find something here and post if for you guys.

Kim from MN   November 5th, 2009 10:03 pm ET

Hey –

I'm on the official Michael Jackson site and came across this:

It seems that the MJHD site has been talking about a link that would first bring you to the MJHD site, then went to the Sony website, then to the 2012 movie and now it is sitting at wikipedia for the V for Vendetta movie. What's up with that?

Why would anybody do this? Is someone just playing with us or are we to follow this?

If you type in thisisalsoit dot com in the browser it brings you to wikipedia. Don't type in www before it though.

Is anybody aware of this?

And La Toya – I think she is putting on an act for us all.

Victoria J   November 5th, 2009 10:16 pm ET

Yes, Sandy, the Fort Hood incident is so very tragic. I am praying for those people. It is so very sad and another reminder of the evil that lurks in this world.

Victoria J   November 5th, 2009 10:26 pm ET

Oh, it has been my pleasure to get to know you and to read your words of wisdom today....what is our purpose, take our control wand and make things better and am I doing enough or did I do enough? Oh, my, you have given me much "food for thought." But it is good, Jen. We cannot bring Michael back as much as we want to. We cannot change the decisions he made and oh, I wish I could. I want to make it better. But I know this one thing, I have been given this bit of wisdom...I am not in control. Neither was our dear Michael. I will look forward to your comments, Jen. It really has been a delight to exchange posts and comments with you. I know we will need each other in the coming days as more is revealed about Michael's death. It will not be easy to hear these things or understand them, but in love we will.

MourningMJ   November 5th, 2009 10:51 pm ET

I posted this for you on the other "clogged blog"
@SANDY-HOUSTON- How are you doing today, Sandy? I know it's been quite emotional. Is the movie still fresh in your mind? So fresh like you were the one filming him right? I wish I could have been there to give him a good kick in the you-know-what and hand him a reality check that would leave him speechless. Can't look at life through the rearview mirror I guess. xoxo
RE: your previous post- Yes, it clearly is a fine line between tragedy and waste. Tragedy because it was just so needless and waste because Michael was part of the problem. The dancers were certainly in awe of him as the world was too. God gave us such a previous gift in Michael and I hope many do not squander it like we do so many other blessings...
IHMJ xoxo

mj4ever   November 6th, 2009 4:25 am ET

Oh man, just watched some videos of This is it on youtube. I am speechless. It is fabulous. Michael looked better than ever. Looks so amazing even in those unclear videos. Yes i think it deserves an Oscar, and I haven't even watched the full movie yet. So waiting for the DVD to come out. It is the most worth DVD to have. And the lil music piece at the at the end of thriller song is just WOW!

Posted Nov 5th 2009 12:05PM by TMZ Staff

Dr. Arnold Klein has shown up at the TMZ offices to appear on TMZ live at 1:30 PM PT, 4:30 PM ET today.

Dr. Klein - who bailed before his scheduled appearance on Tuesday - promises to tell all about his most famous patient, Michael Jackson.

Dr. Klein will talk with Harvey Levin - no restrictions.

Come back at 1:30 PM PT, 4:30 PM ET.

Maureen (UK)   November 6th, 2009 9:41 am ET

Hi everyone ! 🙂

Does anyone remember the LKL interview with Dileo ? I think it was in July. The blog title & comments that followed the interview have disappeared. I have checked the celebrity section. There is also a film clip of the interview & a transcript which have both been edited. The Dileo question," Oh is he still alive ?" has been removed. If anyone remembers the interview they will know how significant that question was.
I hope this isn't missing like the film of Michael outside the Burbank Studio.

Michael Jackson - The Urination Explanation
Posted Nov 4th 2009 5:47AM by TMZ Staff

Finally an explanation as to why Michael Jackson's 1993 accuser could identify the discoloration on the singer's genitals ... Michael liked to pee for an audience.

TMZ has obtained files from the 1993 Santa Barbara molestation investigation. A deputy from the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department noted the young accuser was able to describe - in explicit detail - the discoloration on Jackson's genital area ... the result of Vitiligo, a skin discoloration disorder.

TMZ's Harvey Levin spent 3 hours last Sunday with Dr. Arnold Klein, Jackson's best friend and doctor for decades. Dr. Klein insists Jackson did not molest the boy, and says the reason he could describe Jackson's genitals is because Jackson liked to pee in front of other people. Dr. Klein said Jackson thought it was funny.

Klein says there were numerous times when Jackson would pee in the doctor's home - in a cup!!! - around groups of people, including children.

Klein says Jackson would also pee in front of other people in his office.

Dr. Klein says the 1993 accuser saw Jackson peeing and that's why he could identify the genital markings.

Oh my, there we go again.....
"Klein says there were numerous times when Jackson would pee in the doctor's home - in a cup!!! - around groups of people, including children"

What is he doing....??????????

True or not, he KNOWS the media is gonna interpret this the wrong way again ("in front of children...".

Aarrrghghg...... so annoying.

Maureen (UK)   November 6th, 2009 9:43 am ET

Hi Irene,
I've been following your advice ! How are you ?:)

Maureen (UK)   November 6th, 2009 9:45 am ET

Did Klein actually say that or are the tabloids having a field day ?

irene   November 6th, 2009 9:47 am ET

And THIS, also on TMZ

"Dr. Klein's rep is responding to the story we broke - that he's filed a creditor's claim for services he performed on Jackson during the last 3 months of his life. Klein wants $48,522.89 for his services - 179 procedures..".

So this means he helped MJ 60 times per month.....
2 times a day average....

Obviously not true,

But if it is:

WHY DIDNT YOU SAVE MJ THEN....????? If you were that much around...

Uughhh.... these people literally make me sick.

And he a Hollywood doctor.

What does he care about this 45 thousand (or is it 4 million..?).

How does he dare............................

You do not deserve to be a doctor, Klein.

And you should have stayed OFF michaels face, after 05 – it was perfect...!

irene   November 6th, 2009 9:49 am ET

Hi maureen,
I dont know if he actually said that, but TMZ – see website – is reporting that he will appear live tonight. To give us some more "insights"....

Im serious, Im litterally become ill.

irene   November 6th, 2009 9:50 am ET

Hi dear Maureen,

Really...?? And, is it working.....?
I hope with all my heart.....!

@ Maureen:

"I hope this isn't missing like the film of Michael outside the Burbank Studio".

What kind of film is this....?

irene   November 6th, 2009 9:53 am ET

I actually heard from someone who was close to karen faye, Michael DID indeed pee in a bottle. But that was during concert.....!

Mean, mean people, these Kleins.

Sandy-Houston   November 6th, 2009 9:53 am ET

The other blog has way too much....

November 6th, 2009 12:33 am ET

Selective information syndrome....I like that. Seems to be alot of that going around with this case and I'm sure more to come. Great Lakes, my birthplace, close to your Chicago area? If Michael Buble tours there next year, my cousin and I are there! Just something about those Michaels!!

Maureen (UK)   November 6th, 2009 9:59 am ET

Yes, it's working, thanks again ! 🙂 but you know how insomnia calls the shots !!
The Dileo blog.
It was back in July. The word manager was in the title (not Dileo). All the fans critisized his interview with Larry King & it seems to have gone.

Maureen (UK)   November 6th, 2009 10:04 am ET

TMZ re: klein interview. I don't think we get that programme here. Maybe we can see it on their web site.

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:08 am ET

A Mila:

I also think that what Latoya said "the children..... (..)..... saw their father [lying dead], hugged him, and were okay ever since.... "

Hmmm.... I thinhk that was a weird comment as well.

Of course they are not okay.

They might feel a little more peace since they saw him, but I cant imagine them not being sad for missing their daddy.

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:11 am ET

@ Brigida & Mila:

Therefore Im not going for anything the Jackson family will say anymore – except for KATHERINE.

As I said I feel Latoya is good spirited and means well, but Im getting a little tired of their 'talkin around'.

Doing this "for the effect", does not work anymore.

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:12 am ET

@ MourningMJ:

Good point @ 9.48 pm.:

Ïm sure LT last concern on her moral list of things to worry about is her 90 sec. cameo is that really dumb movie".

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:13 am ET

@ USA:

Sorry, see you already put something on here about TMZs reporting on Klein.

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:17 am ET

@ Di,

That also came to my mind:

Klein is just plain distorted and CRAZY.

He is crazy.

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:26 am ET

@ Sandy – Houston

I watched it a second time last night, and one of the thoughts that came to mind was that he had so many demons in his life that he never came to terms with. There were scenes where he was really into it, but then others where I felt he was just going through the motions. `***** Yes!! Felt that too...... Others will not see that, but us fans, do...). *** I really feel he was looking for something more. This whole tour was going to put him back into the lifestyle off stage where his troubles began...difficulty sleeping, resorting to Diprivan and other meds, the chronic pain issues, the anxiety. And I think he knew that. **** I think so too. Sad isnt it, to realize that.... Me too, I think he knew..... And Ive heard that from several people........ He knew it, and.... there was no way out... He HAD to do this..... the risk he just accepted.... what else what he to do......?? * I think God just didn't want to see his child Michael go through that all again. **** Nice thought. Think so too. God knows, what kind of trouble Michael would come in if he was still around........

I also conclude that from reading Shmuleys book.
People misinterpreted him (Shmuley as well), wanted to CHANGE him, wanted to TAKE from him.
As I said before, will some of his comments here later this weeeknd.

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:27 am ET

Hey, I see Taymoor and Sandy also said something about the peeing thing. Jep, heard that too.

I would do too 🙂

irene   November 6th, 2009 10:29 am ET

@ Mila,

Did michael cry the whole time during the body search in 93...?

Where did you hear that..?

AAwww... thats so sad. Poor michael..

mariau   November 6th, 2009 10:43 am ET

Klien is a gold digger.. so he insisted himself to MJ.. otherwise.. he will close his clinic tomorrow because no patient trusted him..
Klien needed MJ for his personal interest $$$$$$>.. only.. period..

The interviewer seems to be annoyed by Klein.

Klein says MJ never asked him for Demerol.

Irene – I liked reading MJ's words in Boteach's book and wish I could hear them on tape.

I was excited to see several videos on you tube from This Is It this morning. I wish I could go see it lots more times in the theater.

AK did not hear from MJ from 2003 to 2009. He is not MJ's friend. He told Harvey he wished he was never his MD. He is being investigated for prescription drug crimes related to MJ's death. It will all come out in due time. He is a human tabloid, and I do not believe anything tabloids say.

I would like to ask him if he gave MJ IV propofol in his office in May or June.

Lora Ottawa Canada   November 6th, 2009 11:27 am ET

Hi Stu Mariau Maureen

do you think the family will file a lawsuit against Klein for defamation of character! They should!

Stu,Hungary   November 6th, 2009 11:35 am ET

After i woch the movie 2. time,i was very koncentrateing, wich skin could be the realy life begening and end,and i finde,he was nit skiny like skeleton. He was thinner, thenn in 90-s,but i think,he was ok,and how this dancer said,he was full of energy, and he could doo hes koncerts.Only this blcsk suit with the strange up sholders he was look strange, and very skiny, but i think, the siud made hem look more skiny. But whenn that was stand in ring, and he was talk to everybody, that most be the end,and he was look perfect thenn.I bæame 100% Murrey for hes death.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 11:44 am ET

I blame Murray and AEG for hiring Murray to give MJ drugs. Anything to get him to perform. This movie is an attempt to hide a homicide in plain sight. (Pay no attention to the fact that the star died in the making of this film.) How ironic if they win an Oscar for it. I would like to see the whole video of MJ wearing the gray suit. He was too thin but still looked handsome, and he wasn't wearing the sunglasses.

Stu,Hungary   November 6th, 2009 11:47 am ET

Olso,i dont think,he was nervus or anything in any skin, whenn he was say some complain,it was only for make hes show perfect, nothing else.

Stu,Hungary   November 6th, 2009 11:55 am ET

I dont know Lora,thay should.

Did anybody read, what Cris wrid, that the family dont visit hes grave?I realy hope, this is not true

As a tour-guide, I'm on the road all day and you know how many people do this when no toilet is available? They look for a place and do it. If we see it or no. Esp. men. When nature claims...
Now, Michael lived in a two-room-house with another 10 people, no privacy or very little of it. Perhaps for this fact he never thought is was a nasty thing but natural if someone sees you. (That's also my experience in an italian family with an open bathroom near the kitchen) During concerts he had no time to go away too long and he is not the only one to use bottles or something like this. Or you have to train your body like I had to do for the last 20 years and more...
BUT I'm sure he never "enjoyed" to do that like Klein says! He perhaps had to pee in his office like every patient do for analysis but I don't think there were others than eventually a nurse around. But I never heard of a dermatologist need to do it by himself (ok, I don't know how this works in the US).

So, adding all this... Klein is still a snake and still twisting stories for the only reason: he is panicking like hell and try to blame Michael for all HE did.

Hi Sandy, how are you? How was the cake? Yum.... I have been thinking of that cake all day! Actually, Great Lakes is much more north of where I am, however, it's not a bad car ride away when the expressways are jammed. I also really enjoy Michael Buble as well; very talented indeed. Hope you can make your way up here! Who knows if a Divine Intervention arranged by Michael will happen... wouldn't that be great? Oh- Selective Information Syndrome- apparently, it is becoming contagious. And this is one condition I am not immune too. Too bad an innoculation for this does not exist....

@IRENE- Thank you for your comment- Love2U more, Irene.

An article about the Amazon rainforest in the context of Michael's message from TII.

What Ever Happened to the Amazon Rain Forest?
Did we save it or what?
By Brendan Borrell
Updated Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at 7:11 AM ET

The Amazon RiverWe used to hear so much about the destruction of the Amazon rainforest, but lately not a word. So what happened—did we save it or not?

We didn't save it, but we haven't stopped trying. Environmentalists fret over the fate of the Amazon for good reason: It contains more than half of the planet's remaining tropical rainforest, one-fifth of our global freshwater, and as much as one-third of the world's biodiversity. Saving all this was once a rallying cry for green activists, and a few early triumphs made that goal seem likely. But attention soon shifted away from the rainforest to issues like climate change and organic agriculture, and now the Amazon is disappearing at about the same rate it was in the 1980s.

Fifty years ago, the Amazon was still largely intact. Then in 1964, Brazil passed a law to encourage landless peasants to leave the slums and develop the interior. Anyone who could demonstrate that land was being put to "effective use" would get a title to it. As a result, the native forest-dwellers began to be displaced, and newcomers started clearing large areas for cattle production and rubber tapping. Without an extensive road network, however, the process was slow. Almost all of Brazil's forest remained untouched through the 1970s.

Starting in the early 1980s, however, the forest began to disappear at a much higher rate. With the help of investment money from the World Bank, farmers and ranchers built enough roads and settlements to destroy an average of 8,158 square miles of forest per year, an area about the size of New Jersey. That's when the environmentalists really got moving. In 1985, the San Francisco-based Rainforest Action Network began staging protests around the country and helped put an end to Burger King's $35 million "rainforest beef" contract in Central America. The following year, the newly formed Rainforest Alliance held a workshop in New York City, which was covered in New York Times with an article titled "Concern for Rain Forest Has Begun To Blossom." The situation grew more intense in 1988, when an activist (and former rubber tapper) named Chico Mendes was assassinated by angry ranchers at his home in the Amazon. But the flashpoint came when the Brazilian government announced its most ambitious, and potentially its most devastating, proposal to date: a highway through the state of Acre to Lima, Peru, which would bisect the Amazon and connect its nascent industries to the Pacific coast and the economic engine of Japan.

Soon celebrities like Sting and crooner Phil Collins were rallying against the highway project, along with noted Latin American intellectuals: authors Gabriel García Márquez, Carlos Fuentes, and Mario Vargas Llosa signed a letter calling accusing the nation of a "policy of ecocide and ethnocide." The ruckus temporarily stalled the project, and Brazil enacted some modest conservation measures. In 1991, deforestation slowed to one of the lowest rates on record.

By that point, popular interest in the Amazon was on the decline. Using the Nexis news database, the Lantern found 993 articles about the Amazon forest in U.S. papers from 1990. In 1995, that number dips by more than one-third, even as deforestation rates spiked higher than they'd ever been. Today, about one-fifth of Brazil's remaining forests are officially protected, but huge swaths of land in states like Mato Grosso have been taken over by cattle plantations and soy. Brazilian laws require Amazonian landowners to maintain 80 percent forest cover, but the law is rarely enforced. Even now, Brazil continues to encourage landless peasants to flock to the Amazon, and it has yet to give up on the dream of a transoceanic highway.

The good news is that interest in the Amazon has begun to take off again in recent years. That's mainly because of the role that forests play in staving off climate change: Scientists estimate that the Amazon itself has between 85 billion and 100 billion tons of CO2 stored in its trees and shrubs, or about 11 years' worth of U.S. carbon emissions. The dangers aren't limited to Brazil, of course—deforestation rates in Asia and parts of Africa now rival those seen the Americas. In 2009, the Guinness World Records named Indonesia as the country with the most rapidly disappearing forests—it's losing about 2 percent per year—although Brazil remains the leader in absolute terms.

Many environmentalists now pin their hopes on a U.N.-sponsored plan to use carbon credits as a means of reducing deforestation in developing nations. The so-called REDD Scheme will be on the table at the climate negotiations in Copenhagen next month. In the lead-up to those talks, Robin Williams, Sting, and a host of other aging celebrities have embarked on a "Rainforest SOS" campaign to stop tropical deforestation and prevent "run-away climate change." Most of the celebs on the roster are more than a little past their prime, but the destruction of the Amazon is just as timely as it ever was.

akshara   November 6th, 2009 1:20 pm ET

I just hope all the useless people in Mj's life stop talking and let his music and movie speak about the man...I mean , come on we love Mj for his talent...his songs and dance and humanity ...who is bothered about how he pee's?

RIDICULOUS paparazzi

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 1:28 pm ET

Thanks for sharing a very informative article, and it is timely in light of our having seen Michael's Earth Song in This Is It and what would have been a prominent song piece in his upcoming, but ill-fated concerts. This is certainly one way for us to honor Michael's legacy and that is to be involved in some way to protect the environment. I did chuckle at the end of the piece though..."Robin Williams, Sting, and a host of other aging celebrities have embarked on a "Rainforest SOS" campaign to stop tropical deforestation and prevent "run-away climate change." Most of the celebs on the roster are more than a little past their prime, but the destruction of the Amazon is just as timely as it ever was." The author's choices of words struck me that he has not seen "aging, past their prime" celebs performing lately, has he? I think we should send him a ticket to see This Is It and maybe he will not have such a pessimistic view of "aging, past their prime" celebs. Those phrases had been said about Michael, but Michael put those cliches to rest easily and he was just rehearsing! Thanks again, Mila, for the great article.

I planted a flowering tree in MJs honor this summer. MJ would have been a fascinating person to have a conversation with about current events. He cared about everything.

jan   November 6th, 2009 1:47 pm ET

Klein said murray called a patient that was sueing him for malpractice, Dileo and AEG.

He insinuated AEG had an involvement but Harvey quickly shut him up.

I assume the fourth call was to security??

Good morning blogger buddies! 🙂 I went and saw the late showing of TII in the IMAX last night. Twice in one day! So glad that I did. 🙂

@Mara – doing fine, chick. Looking forward to talking with you tonight.

I am gonna try and watch the TMZ Uncle Arnie interview

@KL - we bloggers need a new Michael topic.

Movie Review: Michael Jackson at the top of his game in dazzling 'This Is It' By Lane Blevins November 6th, 2009

“This Is It” blew my mind in all the best ways. It is an experience that somehow manages to contain and convey Jackson’s legacy all in just under two hours.

“This Is It” is, for all intents and purposes, the ultimate MJ experience. It is a collection of rehearsal footage, behind-the-scenes material and new film content for what was to probably be the last 50 shows he would ever do.

From the moment the music began, it was crystal clear that Jackson was still on top of his game. In fact, he had transcended his game. The concert opens with a dazzling display of special effects and pyrotechnics. When MJ is finally unveiled, he breaks into a dance that can only be described as the Moonwalk to the tenth power.

He seamlessly glides along the stage, exerting unbelievable control over every muscle in his body. And then, he begins to sing. No tape tracks. No lip-syncing. Instead, the live voice being projected is jaw-dropping, especially when you consider it is coming from a 50-year-old man.

Every sound you hear in the film is generated by a human being. To cover all of the many layers in Jackson’s studio recordings, “This Is It” had a band the size of an orchestra, complete with several back up singers and an entire troupe of principle dancers. Everyone involved was at the top of his or her respective field.

There was so much to love about this movie. For one thing, as concert films go, “This Is It” is a masterpiece.

Best of all, however, was watching MJ be completely involved with every aspect of the show. He was the consummate musician and performer. He knew what he wanted and how he wanted it.
Watching Jackson perfect his craft painted an intimate portrait that few were ever allowed to see.

As I walked out of “This Is It,” I understood for the first time since his death what exactly it was we all lost. Go check this one out on the big screen. Even moderate fans like myself will be blown away.

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 1:56 pm ET

@Maureen.....The Dileo interview and transcript is missing? Interesting...I have not checked for it. However, I do remember it very well...Things may "disapear" but that does not mean we will forget the....

lola   November 6th, 2009 2:04 pm ET

Yes. Michael said touring would kill him and that he hated to tour. But, he also loved to perform and felt most comfortable on stage. In one interview, he said he wished he could sleep on stage. So, what exactly did he hate about touring? Was it his compulsion to be perfect? Or was it the hectic life of a different city/country each day and living in hotels? Perhaps both. But, Mj was not going to tour, he was going to stay put outside of London in a beautiful country estate....I think once the show opened with wonderful reviews, he would have been able to relax more. With his children at his side, I think this is a different situation than his other tours.
Of course we will never know the whole truth and everyone is looking to blame someone else, but according to AEG, it was Mj that insisted on having a doctor 24/7 and wanted only Murray. Philips claims he tried talking him out of it, but said "his body fueled this whole thing and I need this". It was not the first time Mj hired a doctor for this purpose on tour. I just don't think AEG is responsible in MJ's death. I think it was a horrific, tragic accident. I think Murray is criminally negligent and should be charged for murder #2. Also, let's not forget Mj was a grown man. AEG are concert promoters, not doctors, nor baby-sitters. Yes, they pushed Mj hard. But, they did not know what the tragic outcome would be.

Tina (Germany)   November 6th, 2009 2:07 pm ET

This pee story makes me really worry, not about MJ, more about what people call illegal and about the society. Is peeing when others see you such a big problem in the US?

I mean here we have public toilets, where guys go pee and stand beside each other and there are also little boys peeing.

It can even happen then when you are on vacation tour with many people and the girls public toilet is full of people, that girls go to the guys toilet also and using pretend they will not look *grin*

Several years ago I was often on motorcycle tours with many, many people and also children with us and when we stopped for a pause and there were no toilet available, everyone just peed somewhere in mother nature, girls and guys and children.

We are not all pervert here you know, peeing isn't something scary, or weird, or nasty or even illegal.

The only thing that is illegal is peeing somewhere on the street e.g. in front of bars, because it stinks and not because someone will see you and you might have to pay a small fee if someone of the public order office see that. The police for sure would not come... really....

This whole thing is a way over the line again. And btw if I would be that famous and need to pee, I also would not visit a public toilet just to have paparazzis trying to get a look or a picture of me, I would also choose the cup in the car, or whatever is possible.

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 2:16 pm ET

Just watched Uncle Arnie's TMZ interview and posted a comment for the first time ever. They have far more gullible people on the TMZ site than we have here. More tarnished by lying news stories. Here's what I put on TMZ:

Arnie thinks TMZ provides him the venue for CYA and potential jury pool influence so he uses a bogus yet "shocking" MJ-pee-in-cup story to get another 15 minutes of fame/airtime and then procceds to point fingers, deflect blame, introduce other characters, promote himself etc.

Ooops Arnie! TMZ has provided a venue for FBI, LAPD, DEA, the family's investigators, etc. to extrapolate more damning evidence. If one closely reviews the taped interviews Arnie has given (here and elsewhere)since June 25th and plots his "facts" on a timeline and in context with published case details; Arnie has opened himself up for criminal and civil charges. He is a walking contradiction which means he is a liar.

And the biggest lie he told is that he was "MJ's closest friend".

lola   November 6th, 2009 2:17 pm ET

I don't understand why Klein is speaking about this. Is he trying to convince people of Mj's innocence and explain why the boy could describe "those spots"? A urinal is more likely than peeing in a cup for the boy to see Mj's genitals. When a guy pees though, I don't think they expose their testicles – I can't believe I am typing this. I couldn't even describe my husband's and we have been married for 26 years.

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 2:18 pm ET

Arnie contradicts himself all the time. I hope they are picking up on it. What a wack-job.

HAGS: "Eye just dunt know whuuut to tink".

Lora Ottawa Canada   November 6th, 2009 2:18 pm ET

Yes I noticed he is contradictory and lied about not seeing TII

Tina (Germany)   November 6th, 2009 2:19 pm ET

@lola – you made me laugh hard now.... you can describe your husbands... actually you can decribe everyones somehow, they somewhat all look similar.

lola   November 6th, 2009 2:20 pm ET

Diane from Minn.
Wow! Your comment covers all bases. Great job! You said it all and very well, I might add.

lola   November 6th, 2009 2:22 pm ET

Oh Tina...too funny......yeah,,,they are all alike...except for MJ....apparently his had spots.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 2:24 pm ET

The album "This Is It" is also number 1 in 16 other countries
"Sales figures from other parts of the world are still being tallied although the album did hit #1 in 16 other countries including Canada, Japan, France, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Turkey, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the Middle East and Colombia and Top-3 in the UK, Australia, Argentina, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain."

Tina (Germany)   November 6th, 2009 2:25 pm ET

@ lola, yeah but knowing about the spots didn't needed a laserbrain to know, just a little research about this illness and you know it.

With the knowledge about that illness everyone would have give some kind of description, everybody, there is a 50/50 chance to come close to the right description...

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 2:26 pm ET

The 1993 allegations were investigated by Hughs and Jones. The truth was published but it is not shocking so it didn't get any interest. As part of the extortion plot – the kid's mom had him sneak into the adult shower during one of MJ's pool parties and spy on him. She told the kid to look and memorize, which he did. That's why he could explain it. You can read about this accusations and others on a web site called reflectionsonthedance dot com. I understand if MJ used a portable urinal sometimes because of possible mobs in public places. I have heard this before about famous people. HOWEVER – he was too much of a gentleman and too modest to do it in public and enjoy it.

"Eye just dunt know whuuut to tink".

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 2:27 pm ET

"And the biggest lie he told is that he was "MJ's closest friend"."

I have not listened to Klein yet. However, I can draw a conclusion that hhe obviously does not understand that a "close" friend would choose to be quiet during these times for he would still be in grieving, seeking solace among others who knew Michael. This just waves a red flag in front of my face that the man is guilty of something or he is feeling horribly guilty of not having been a true friend.

Tina (Germany)   November 6th, 2009 2:30 pm ET

@ Diane – don't you think if he did that in public all the time the world would have known this already 20 years ago?

How does someone that famous pee in public places in front of others without anyone ever talking about it and btw I am somewhat worried what is going on at Dr. Kleins practise that he allows people to pee in front of others and childrens. Seems it wasn't weird for im neither?

Anne   November 6th, 2009 2:37 pm ET

AEG is not criminally responsible for what Murray did but they have admitted they hired him so they are civilly responsible as his employer for what he did as their employee. AEG saying MJ begged them to hire him or saying they tried to talk him out of it or that he did it 10 years ago is not a legal defense. MJ did not hire Murray. AEG did. If AEG had been smart they would have refused and made MJ hire/pay him so they would not be held responsible. Since he supposedly was never paid I am wondering why AEG admitted hiring him unless there is paper documentation of the fact. AEG knew MJ had admitted having an addiction. What did they think Murray was going to do for him?

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 2:40 pm ET

@lola at 2:17

ok, I 'fess up, I am laughing. And dear, your comedic timing is perfect. (uh, you don't have to respond...)

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 2:48 pm ET

yes, great point. Some enterprising kid would have siezed on that and made more allegations 20 years ago and the paps would have reported it long ago. Again – it's not uncommon for men performers and famous people to do this. Arnie blew it way out of proportion.

I find it interesting that "Michael's closest friend" was not in touch with him all through the trial and afterward. I hope LaToya sees the accusation that she stole the money and jewels.

This is great! Good luck with all that to Arnie's lawyers.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Just saw the wonderful tribute by Jonas Brothers during MTV EMA...
so touching! A video made with a lot of fans singing his songs and dancing.

YES! Please let us only put positive things here on the blog, let media know, we want this and not the garbage they gave us for too many years : )

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Also – per Uncle Arnie – Liz Taylor is a "big supporter of mine in all of this". I guess he thinks he is also scrounging up character witnesses just in case. I wish TMZ would get Liz on the phone for comment.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 3:00 pm ET

Ok, you convinced me... I'm hearing the video with Klein. Only hearing, if I look at this man I feel bad.

Liz Taylor? No way, I'm sure.

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 3:05 pm ET

@ Diane

If Liz is a supporter of Dr. Klein's, then why isn't she twitting away those kind of supportive comments? She is usually demonstrative in this way with her friends. BTW, thanks for the run down on the interview. I will watch it later more enlightened.

@ Brigida

I think it does speak volumes that the Jonas Brothers are doing a tribute. Thanks for sharing that.

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 3:07 pm ET

Another comment about TMZ. They want to make a buck just like anyone else. They're giving Arnie plenty of rope right now and then they'll do their own "investigative reporting" and come up with a big breaking story on him. They don't care.

"Come on down and talk to us anytime and we'll give you all the airtime you want, Arnie. And oh, by the way – can you please just lay down right here in the street – much easier for us to get you under the bus that way!"

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 3:11 pm ET

Vic (HAG) and Brigida –

Yes, it is hard to watch because he's got that eye going all over the place LOL. Also, if you watch Levin – you can tell he doesn't believe some things and that he is baiting him. And listen for the lies. In one part he says they didn't treat MJ for all of May and June and then later he says he came in two weeks before he died and then later two days before he died. Just a walking contradiction. Undert the bus with you, Arnie pooh!

Sandy-Houston   November 6th, 2009 3:15 pm ET

You are so right. That is exactly what's going to happen. As Michael said these newspapers, tabloids, etc are a business first and they'll get their story anyway they can.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 3:20 pm ET

Diane – "And oh, by the way – can you please just lay down right here in the street – much easier for us to get you under the bus that way!"
You are so funny!

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 3:22 pm ET

there's a problem with tmz-video. It stopped several times and now at minute 19 it doesn't go ahead even after refreshing. It's a sign from heaven that I should not watch it? ; )
Will save the link and try another time...

Viktoria J
I don't know these brothers, why do you say that?

Diane, I noticed it but it is also very difficult for me understand him speaking. He is like "eating" his words and so I have to watch his lips also :/ Only audio doesn't work with him.

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 3:25 pm ET

That is so funny, because last night before I left work, I thought I would try and watch the interview, but I could not get the sound. Just on the picture alone, I thought Levin looked exactly as you described him, like he was not falling for it or "can you believe what this guy is saying?" Thanks, Diane (HAG), see you later.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 3:31 pm ET

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The Michael Jackson concert film "This Is It" has crossed the $100 million mark at international box offices as it enters its second weekend in theaters, the studio behind the movie said on Friday.

The film has grossed $144 million worldwide, including $44 million from the United States and Canada. Outside of North America, the biggest theatrical markets through Thursday night were: Japan with $18.2 million, Britain with $11.1 million and Germany with $8.9 million.

Hi guys!

Uhh this Klein 1 and half hour report on TMZ!Crasy! And the comments after are olso crasy!

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 3:41 pm ET

I am not that familiar with the Jonas Brothers as I rarely listen to the radio and it seems these days all I do is listen to Michael's CDs. In other words, I don't know their music. What I do know about these boys is that their image is very clean cut, almost squeaky clean and probably would not associate themselves with anything controversial so as to stay true to themselves and their fan base. As much as I dislike to say this, many in our country would think Michael to be controversial, especially for this group. So, I am delighted they are doing this because they are recognizing his talent, his contributions to music and I believe they are saying they admire him as a person, too. They are staying true to themselves and I believe that says volumes about their character, too. Just having heard them in interviews and knowing some that are their fans, that's the conclusion I come to. IMHO. I am elated they are doing this.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 3:51 pm ET

I have seen the Jonas Brothers on SNL and they are very cute. The box office is lower in the US compared with what they expected because negative perceptions persist. I applaud the Jonas Brothers for their MJ tribute. They could help create a whole new generation of fans.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 3:57 pm ET

Thank you Viktoria, sounds good : )
There was a video on youtube I saw earlier this morning but it was removed for copyright. They only left a very bad one taken from TV-screen.

Stu, Klein and tmz had shot my computer down... had to restart and so I surrender. Klein was stating he didn't know about the addiction and described his methods for treating Michael. If I understood correct. Then my PC freezed... like I told before: a sign from heaven?

lola   November 6th, 2009 4:02 pm ET

Yes. I think you are right in that Murray was part of the deal....the whole enchalada ....and yes, they probably knew what was going on. Ortega accompanied Mj on other tours, so he had to know. Also, a background check on Murray would have shown his incompetence. They obviously didn't do that either. They are guilty, however not criminally. Murray is the culprit......that idiot! AEG rushed to get TII out to clear their name and any misdeeds. Ortega is often shown concerned about Mj's well being and safety throughout the movie.......there is a reason for that!

@ KIM in MN

When you get back on, just wanted to pass this along. I just researched this morning and found that the michaeljacksonopus dot com domain was purchased and created on 03/19/09, just two weeks after the concert announcement. That is just another crazy, odd fact. Of course, the opus was announced as a "brand new" publication that had been approved by the "estate" and being put together after his death around the first of September. Just fishy, fishy, fishy. 🙂

MourningMJ   November 6th, 2009 4:22 pm ET

Okay, you all have made me laugh today on this blog and I was in need of a major dose of it! Lola, like Victoria said, that 2:17 post was absolutely hysterical, but was what really funny is when you said "I can't believe I am typing this". I literally laughed out loud. I said that once as well- but I actually said "I can't believe I am hitting the submit button" because I actually responded to one of those "mj" people. VICTORIA- my sides are splitting after your Jonas Brothers analogy "Squeky clean".. That's hysterical! I hope they are not another result of the Disney Cannel's "Look at them now" 10 year recap list such as Britney Spears, Fergy, and now Miley Cyrus who can't wait to get herself up on a stage with a stripper pole letting her a** hang out for the world to see. But, so far, not problems with the Jonas brothers; they are good kids and Michael would be so proud to see that the younger artists are really embracing their talent; Michael loved children and is influence is bottomless. DIANE- You are cracking me up with all of your Uncle Arnie posts; "Eye" have to laugh to keep from crying but you are oh so correct on everything you said. MJ's closest friend? Uncle Arnie even said himself that he noticed something very strange about Michael when he left his office three days before he passed away; that Michael said goodbye to everyone individually; something Michael has never done before and that Arnie "had a feeling". A feeling? Like what? Indigestion? Muscle cramps? What? Ohhhh, Michael. Yeah, some friend. Couldn't wait to get that itemized medical bill out the estate though, huh? You wanted to make sure that Michael's parents saw that you shot their son up with Demerol multiple times? "For sedation". Demerol wasn't intended for sedation- who do you think you are talking to Arnie? Demerol is for pain control, not typically used for sedation. We know there are many local anesthesias that would be more appropriate and useful for these types of procedures that you claim Michael needed several times a month. Here's a tip, Arnie: The best thing you can ever say to a friend who clearly is demonstrating drug seeking behaviors? "NO". And that's it. (These were your words, Arnie, not mine. I just watched your interview again). And by the way, did you wash the cups out that MJ supposedly urinated in at your house before you poured yourself that next drink? I'm sorry, I just realized that I was talking to some of you independently, then somehow graduated to a third person angle and then to Arnie Klein. Well, I'm sure he's probably reading it and eating it all up. Take care everyone.
IHMJ xoxo

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 4:46 pm ET

@Helen - I am not sure your information is correct re: The Opus. My understanding is that it was in process long before Michael's death and that Michael was working with the publishers to create it. The estate reaffirmed that agreement after Michael's death from what I have read.

You girls are having way too much fun this Friday afternoon! Lola, I'm still laughing at your 2:17 post! 🙂 I have to laught to keep from screaming about Klein and his ramblings. The Pee Plot thickens!! 🙂

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 4:57 pm ET

Thick pee?? Gross.

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 5:04 pm ET

@Lori, @Helen,

Correct Lori,

The Opus was in the works for quite some time prior to the March and it was Michael's creative work. Nothing fishy about domain name timing.

Sandy-Houston   November 6th, 2009 5:16 pm ET

Hey girl!
I've been working on medication policies all day. what can I mind is mush. 🙂

Luda   November 6th, 2009 5:21 pm ET

November 6th, 2009 2:24 pm ET

The album "This Is It" is also number 1 in 16 other countries
"Sales figures from other parts of the world are still being tallied although the album did hit #1 in 16 other countries including Canada, Japan, France, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Turkey, New Zealand, Hong Kong etc ...............................................

I remember last March when Michael announced his This is it Tour, a journalist said: " Jackson is a has been!"

Well, I don't know a lot of has been who can be such a number One! 😉

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 5:25 pm ET

Hi Luda! Michael can be number one with anything and everything. He was never a has been was he? I bet that reporter feels dumb now!

Sandy – Keep your eyes open for Conrad–apparently no one really knows his location. If you can get a picture of him, you could become a rich woman. It's cold and wet here and I am craving some cornbread and some collards.

Mara – see above, same goes for you. A picture of Conrad could make you a rich woman and you will be able to buy all the Ed Hardy stuff your heart desires.

Luda   November 6th, 2009 5:33 pm ET

He was never a has been was he?

No Lori, Never!
Even dead he is alive! LOL
I think we call that Eternal! 😉

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 5:37 pm ET

So, I saw the whole interview finally. And know what? I don't know anymore what to believe :/ Maybe I didn't understand it word by word but there were some interesting points that could have been true.
The fact is, I am here far away and surely you in the US have so much more info about this case than me. And I tend to believe more to you all than this doctor. But I also decided to wait when and if a trial comes. Before I don't want to judge noone. There are too many contradiction of everyone involved there and everyone put the guilt on other people, so I'm really lost!

If Michael himself didn't know anymore who he could trust, how can I?
If Michael himself didn't know anymore who lied and betrayed him, how can I? So I can only wait and hope that the whole truth will come out one day. And I hope this will happen soon.

Sandy-Houston   November 6th, 2009 5:39 pm ET

CM is hidden away somewhere. I keep my camera handy! Wouldn't that be something to get a pic of the infamous devil! Cornbread and chili sounds good to me..not too keen on collard greens. Now I'm hungry! Time to go home...take care.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 5:47 pm ET

lola – You make a great detective. "Michael, please hold tight to the railing of the cherry picker for safety reasons". (Then last night I watch him on the history tour with his whole body hanging down and he is holding on by his fingers! Yikes!)

Victoria J   November 6th, 2009 5:58 pm ET

"If Michael himself didn't know anymore who he could trust, how can I? If Michael himself didn't know anymore who lied and betrayed him, how can I? So I can only wait and hope that the whole truth will come out one day. And I hope this will happen soon."

Your thoughts above reminded me of a T.S. Eliot quote and it is appropriate to finish out my day here with a bit more thoughtfulness for Michael...

"No soul is desolate as long as there is a human being for whom it can feel trust and reverence." T.S. Eliot

You are right, Michael was in a position of not knowing who to trust. He was alone and that thought saddens me. We cannot go back and change that. These blogs have allowed us to grieve with one another, but now another day is coming for us to embrace each other. I do think here on this blog that is what we are trying to get to – the truth and the facts surrounding Michael's death. Brigida, there are many, many advocates who are here for justice for Michael who are dedicated to finding the truth. Take your time and put the facts together and you will be able to discern the truth and reality from heresay and who you can trust. We all want the truth and we want it soon. Thank you for the reality check you have just given me.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 6:05 pm ET

Tom Mesereau mentioned in July that during the trial MJ had great fears because of the other lawyers who had betrayed him over the years.

I bought a nice softback book of This Is It photos at Wal mart today. It was on lying on top of the This Is It cd display. I seem to think that if I can buy all the music videos, live performance dvds, and music etc that exists of MJ that I never have to let go of him.

Marmoura   November 6th, 2009 6:07 pm ET

Arnie must have thought he was a better friend than he actually was.

A Good friend would know the truth about MJs extortion trials. The drawings did NOT match and Jordie's circumcision explanation was also incorrect. There was a lot more there in the FACTS of the trial that prove Michael's innocence – not this peeing in a cup business.

Also, a true friend would know about change of council and why Michael did actually settle.

Look, Arnie is just trying to save his butt. But, he really should exercise discretion about specific topics: i.e. peeing in a cup. It's rediculous.

Marmoura   November 6th, 2009 6:08 pm ET

I'm thinking Geragos and his addition to the spotlight.

Makes sense.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 6:12 pm ET

@Helen, Lori

Helen, the Opus was first announced to the public after Michael's passing but even back then they said they had started working on it a while ago and like Lori said it was approved by Michael.
Opuses are usually very expensive – over $1K but Michael asked kraken to keep the price of his opes low (it's just about $160) so that it would be affordable for his fans.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 6:15 pm ET

Arnie is potentially facing serious criminal charges related to prescribing for MJ that may have lead to this tragedy and I think he is terrified. He is trying to appear like a good guy/friend to MJ so people won't hate him like that do Murray. I think he gets most of his information about MJ the same way we get ours. I doubt MJ confided in him very much, and I would think MJ was saying goodbyein his office that day because he was planning to move to the UK very soon.

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 6:16 pm ET

Same here. Getting all of his stuff so I can keep him alive and not let go of him. I have also ordered the Opus.

I'm sure Murray is probably in hiding and maybe even police protection. There are too many angry fans. Plus, he could potentially be a witness against any of the other questionable characters in MJ's world – an even better reason to hide.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 6:18 pm ET

Mila – What exactly is an Opus? Is it going to have videos with it?

Mila   November 6th, 2009 6:19 pm ET

Marmoura November 6th, 2009 6:07 pm ET

Thanks for bringing this up – I also wrote about that two blogs ago when we first heard about Klein's allegations.

The description which JC gave was only partially correct and the things he got right were all things one can easily guess. There were a whole lot of details that didn't match.

This is the biggest problem with Klein's interview and TMZ chanting into it that the description was "so precise and detailed" – it wasn't but audiences which have no previous knowledge about the case this will be taken as a fact and it will go down in their heads that JC gave a precise description.
It's very dangerous and disturbing.
It's horrible actually.

I wish I could kick this moron's butt so much. Hopefully karma will come for him too – some day soon that is.

Diane in Minneapolis   November 6th, 2009 6:19 pm ET

@ Anne

Exactly what I thought. "Goodbye" because he was leaving for the U.K. Now Arnie is trying to suck up to TMZ in hopes that they won't print anything negative that comes out about him. It is truly a circus. MJ would be so hurt by some of the things his "friends" have said about him.

Marmoura   November 6th, 2009 6:30 pm ET

Yes, couldn't agree more!!! My heart sank when he said this because it is NOT the truth! And we all know that everyone watching that interview or reading about it later that have no knowledge of the truth will adopt what he says. I am appalled. He has NO business speaking on the matter what-so-ever.

He is really making the whole situation worse. And even Harvey....oh Harvey, he should know what is fact. Clearly he didn't do his homework either.

i still don't understand why Arnie was praising Harvey..i found that to be very weird in the interview.

Marmoura   November 6th, 2009 6:31 pm ET

yes, what is an Opus?

Mila   November 6th, 2009 6:32 pm ET

Actually I couldn't figure this out myself – what exactly the opus would be. It looked like a big book on the pictures but they're talking about a 3D interacting experience that comes with it too.
There were some videos demonstrating the opus on the official site michaeljacksonopus dot com but like I said I couldn't get a good idea of what it will be.

I hope I'll be able to see it in some book-store and I may consider buying it.

I'm a bit like you – I have embarked on a mission to buy every positive publication about MJ for my collection. I do it to support those who publish good things about him.

Otherwise I feel the best way to "not let go off him" like you said is probably listening to his music and watching his interviews and speeches.
Being on the blog here also used to help me keep the memories about the real MJ alive but nowadays it's working the other way around because of all the flirting that's going on these days and all the different imposters – I'm just drowning in nonesense even just scrolling through these type of blog-days.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 6:36 pm ET

On Monday, I was also wondering if AK was trying to intimidate the Jackson family somehow. Maybe some sort of let me see the kids or I am going to keep badmouthing your son. (Can you imagine if he turns out to be the bio dad?) It really is hurtful. And I fear some day in the future the kids are going to find out all these things and be devastated at how their precious father was treated. Fortunately, most people do not listen to tmz.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

Btw, did you, girls, notice we have a new star amongst the imposters – he's coming with very clever strategy of not claiming to be MJ but at the same time steadily implying that he secretly is. In fact he started on the blog by outlining 6-7 things that MJ would have done if he was on the blog and he's making sure to "unintentionally" comply with all of them. A real star 🙂

Lora Ottawa Canada   November 6th, 2009 6:41 pm ET

Klein said he didnt like kids in TMZ interview....he could only stand them for a day and that's it! I hope he is not the bio father!

Judie   November 6th, 2009 6:42 pm ET

Happy Friday bloggers,

WTF... Uncle Arnie needs to shut the hell up.
We have heard enough already....urniating in a cup, give me a break!
That has to be the most stupid remark I have ever heard and I have heard alot lately.

Lora Ottawa Canada   November 6th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

An Opus is like a lifetime work bio....I believe MJ's Opus is in pictures, not sure, ....saw it adverstised for $250 canadian.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 6:44 pm ET

Actually TMZ's been going real big since June 25th.
Michael's passing has become for TMZ like the Gulf War for CNN (refering to the fact that CNN's coverage of the Gulf War put them on the map of big networks).
I never knew about TMZ before but now I keep checking them out every now and then because they really have fresh news about MJ and have been pretty respectful to him until this Klein story.

So – it's really worrisome if they take the wrong course now and start capitalizing on bashing him. I hope they'd be smarter than that.

Judie   November 6th, 2009 6:47 pm ET

Might I say I am very proud of you lately, you are really taking a stand with anyone who questions your posts.
You have come a long way and I for one have enjoyed your posts and the stand you have been taking.
Keep up the good work it's all for ~Michael~

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 6:50 pm ET

Hey Judie - whuut?
I think Uncle Arnie a.k.a. "BFFMJN" (best friend forever MJ not) is working the spin. Unfortunately for Arnie, he should have done a better job of reviewing his previous statements, interviews, tv appearances, etc. to make sure his accounts were somewhat similar. If Uncle Arnie is working the spin, he has a lot to learn. I just wanna know why his lawyers let him out on his own? Maybe Arnie will do a YouTube video next, whuut? I mean he started with LKL, moved down the chain to TMZ , and what's the next step?

Judie   November 6th, 2009 6:56 pm ET

LMAO Whuut do you think Uncle Arnie should get done first?
Neck stretch or eye stableizer? I think the eye thing cant trust a wandering eye.

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 6:57 pm ET

Just google Michael Jackson's Opus for all the details. There is a website. You could pre-order for $165. Shipping is like another $30.
They were accepting submissions from fans for inclusion in the Opus as well.

Judie   November 6th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

Ah nice and peaceful over here...I hope they don't find us.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 7:03 pm ET

Mila – You are right. I never even knew TMZ existed until June 25th and now I check it every day. But when I read the posts after AK was on yesterday it seemed like most people could see through him. I wish LKL had separate blogs for age groups and believe/not believe so everyone could have their own space.

Judie – Definitely the eye thing! lol

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 7:06 pm ET

@Judie - that is a true story..... "Never trust a wandering eye...or a wandering man". I don't think he should make an investment in the neck...the noose won't care.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 7:08 pm ET

WASHINGTON — The last time unemployment climbed past 10 percent, "The A-Team" was one of the top 10 TV shows and Michael Jackson was about to release "Thriller."
This is the first paragraph of an AP article from Washington D.C. about unemployment and it makes a reference to Michael Jackson! If only he could see this. He would never believe it. He is everywhere. (No wonder people keep thinking he is still alive.)

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:08 pm ET

Lori... next step? Downwards to Dimond?

a reality-check? Hopefully. We are really all here, looking for hints and facts and every day it gets more complicated.

The Opus was shown on a TV-Service and it seems to be a pretty good one. I saw the interactive pictures. If you put them near a computer with the right software you will see the video it's based on.
An amazing thing never done before, I guess. But I don't wonder, it's about Michael 😉

Judie   November 6th, 2009 7:08 pm ET

I like your idea thats good... or how about delusional- and non delusional?

Judie   November 6th, 2009 7:10 pm ET

We are very funny tonight ladies...I get the noose part Lori you are right.

Lori - Justice For Michael   November 6th, 2009 7:12 pm ET

I think we should all stay blogging together, IMH. That way eventually we will get to the truth. I am not comfortable with segreation. I hope everyone can get along. You never know where the next important piece of information is coming from.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:16 pm ET

Lori, we HAVE TO!
Esp. for us from outside US is very important get the information you have. I don't know other countries, Italy talks very little about the case. It's all about TII and some tributes. It's a good thing but I want to know more about the murder :/

but, sorry, when the nightly party starts... I'm out : )

Judie   November 6th, 2009 7:18 pm ET

Ciao Brigida

I agree with your post ...
If Michael himself didn't know anymore who he could trust, how can I?
If Michael himself didn't know anymore who lied and betrayed him, how can I? So I can only wait and hope that the whole truth will come out one day. And I hope this will happen soon.

Good Evening Everyone!

It is good to talk with all you! Looks like some of the old bloggers are back :0)

Lori how was the film last night did you go again...wish I had?

It was great to meet you and your daughter I had fun!

I really do agree I am trying my best to do just that.
Together we are a army.....divided we fall or worse fail.

But I'm with Brigida when the party starts I'm out too.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:22 pm ET

Ciao Judie : )

One question still:
Where does the story come from... that Joe Jackson went to the police some day before Michael died? I heard/read it only a few days ago and it never came out during all these month? Covering his .... ? Truth?
Changing story every week, how can we know what is real?

Judie   November 6th, 2009 7:23 pm ET

Hi Heidi,

How have you been? Welcome back.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 7:24 pm ET

Anne November 6th, 2009 7:08 pm ET

Maybe the White House and Michael have teamed up to hoax his death in order to boost up the economy by increasing the sales of records, books, movie tickets, memorabilia an so on. You see it's a whole industry running on Michael's fame right now.

I'm already negotiating with my husband to buy a blue Escalade – a hybrid version though so we could fully subscribe to the message about saving the planet.

Susan62509   November 6th, 2009 7:25 pm ET

Happy Friday Everyone:

The probate case site will verify in a couple of days if the article below is true. Does creating a Will/Trust for us have any validity nowadays?

Posted Nov 6th 2009 4:06PM

Joe Jackson claims there was "no justification" for him to be excluded from getting money from Michael Jackson's estate ... and now he's asking a judge to grant him a monthly allowance.

Joe just filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming he's "entitled to his own independent family allowance."

In the docs, Leonard Rowe - a guy who claims to have been MJ's manager - says Michael used to give his mother Katherine up to $60,000 a month to live on, and that Michael instructed her to give half of it to Joe.

Joe claims Michael's estate has "earned more than $100 million dollars in the first seven (7) weeks following Michael Jackson's death" and is "well able to afford a family allowance for Joe Jackson."

Joe says he has $15,425 in total monthly expenses, including the following:

- $2,500 eating out
- $2,000 for air travel
- $3,000 for hotel bills
- $1,000 for groceries
- $1,200 for rent
- $50 in charitable contributions

Judie   November 6th, 2009 7:25 pm ET

That is exactly right we don't know what is real and what is just bull!
I myself did not hear the story about Joe.

Judie   November 6th, 2009 7:27 pm ET

I forgot to mention if it comes out of Joe's mouth I take it lightly.

RFergy   November 6th, 2009 7:28 pm ET

There is so much being uncovered lately... truthful or not. I cant wait till things get back to the investigation.

Would love to hear directly from the investigators!!!

Susan62509   November 6th, 2009 7:30 pm ET

Here's another article that can be proven if true by the probate courts filings by Debbie in a few days.

Thursday November 5, 2009
Debbie Rowe — mother of Michael Jackson’s two eldest children, Prince Michael and Paris – is on her way back to court. The reason? Sources say that in the four months since Michael died, she still has not seen the kids.

I am told that the deal Rowe worked out with Katherine Jackson after Michael died provided for visits with the kids and a family court psychiatrist. Rowe insisted on the latter, thinking it would be helpful to introduce her into the kids’ lives.

But one visit was scotched by Katherine Jackson, and since then the Jacksons have resisted efforts to make a meeting possible. Rowe is unhappy with the situation, and is said to be instructing her attorney to go back to their family court judge for an intervention.

“Katherine doesn’t like the idea of the psychiatrist,” says a source. She also, plainly, doesn’t like the idea of the children’s natural mother getting close to them.

Maybe one reason is that there are a lot of questions about what is going on in the Jackson home. For one thing, one of Rowe’s provisions in the original agreement is that Joseph Jackson have nothing to do with the kids. He’s been revealed by Michael in several different kinds of interviews as abusive to children. He’s certainly been openly exploitative of Michael since his death.

But Joe Jackson has regularly been a presence in Prince, Paris and Blanket’s lives since Michael’s death and the court agreement. In fact, sources say he was there at Hayvenhurst last week with them.

To make matters worse, I received a call last week from a friend of Joe Jackson’s, and someone who usually defends the family.

“Those kids should not be in that house,” this insider told me. “All that’s talked about is money, Michael’s money, and how to get it. The kids are very sweet now. But they’ll be ruined if they turn into Jacksons.”

If this is true, the Judge is going to come unglued.

Heidi   November 6th, 2009 7:30 pm ET

@ Judie

I haven't lefted just read a lot. Don't care for the new people...saw that this is good conversation and decide to join in.

When they find this blog I’ll go back to reading.

I do have a mug pic of Murray from 1994 and it doesn’t look anything like the Murray today…hahahahaha

Anne   November 6th, 2009 7:31 pm ET

Mila – I would love it if that turned were only true. I was a bit disappointed in Obama's response to MJ's death in June, but he did say he has all his music on his ipod. It is probably a long shot for him to get the Medal of Freedom or the pop music award like Stevie Wonder at the White House but maybe we could all write to the White House and suggest it anyway. Maybe if Obama gets re elected he would have courage to do it in his 2nd term.

Good luck with getting your Escalade. I'm sure MJ would approve of the hybrid.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 7:31 pm ET

WOW – how generous of Joe to donate whole $50 to charity per month !
That's $600 a year – such a heavy burden.
Now I see why he can't support himself and had the $3000 tickets to watch TII with him gig going on.
Totally makes sense !

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:32 pm ET

That's comical. Joe claims money???? And his bill... 1000 for groceries??? and all the others? But he give 50! for charity.... Anyone believe this?

Ok, have you seen on tmz that he and Randy are in trouble with a guy for the boy Malachi? It's just hilarious what's coming out from this man! Or should I cry? Sreeeeeaaaaaaammmmmm!

Mila   November 6th, 2009 7:34 pm ET

Anne :- )
You know I was joking about the death hoax, right ?

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:36 pm ET

Susan, the article about Debbie and the kids is scarring me badly!
It sounds if it could be true, what the insider says. We all know the family and their "love" ... for money :/

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:38 pm ET

Ladies, there is a new blog about Joe and the allowance. We should go there to discuss it?

Anne   November 6th, 2009 7:39 pm ET

Brigida – It is hilarious. It makes TMZ look ridiculous. It totally distracts all the TMZ readers from AK so that is good.

MIla – Yes, I knew you were joking. We are allowed to do that because we know the truth.

Susan62509   November 6th, 2009 7:41 pm ET

Hi Brigida: 7:36 pm

I agree with your post. I've always posted about money and the family and Joe pushing Katherine with all the court filings, but I get bashed for it by certain people on the blog.

A new blog. Great. We need something for the weekend. See you there. Thank you for the update.

Anne   November 6th, 2009 7:42 pm ET

I sure hope they do not talk about money around the children. They will pick up very quickly that their dad was viewed as a source of money. I do not think they spent much time with his family and just really got to know them this summer. It is time for them to get to know who their mom is since she wants it. Poor Blanket will be the only one who doesn' t know who his mom is.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 7:48 pm ET

Anne, I have a feeling about Blanket and his mom.
Debbie could be a good person, down to earth and teach this to Michaels kid. Two or three doesn't matter, she never wanted to be a mother but she could be a very good friend to them and this includes Blanket either!
But we have to see forwards. If things get worser for them and Debbie can't reach them, perhaps Blanket's mother will come and claim his son! Not in public eye but in court. WE will never know her but I'm sure she would fight for his little boy. I can't think any different way.

Mila   November 6th, 2009 7:56 pm ET

Susan, Brigida,
It's been wondering about Debbie Rowe for quite a while now and I keep getting a feeling that there is more to this woman that meets the eyes through the press coverage she's getting. I mean "more" in a positive way.

There are a few things that keep making me think that she did love Michael and she gave up her children not because she was a poor mother but because she was true to her promise to Michael to "give" him children.
If you've read Aphrodite Jones book about the trial – Debbie Rowe was one of the people who blew the prosecution's case (even though she testified on their side) by saying only wonderful things about Michael. Debbie Rowe was in a lawsuit with Michael at the time to give her visitation rights to the children – imagine how convenient it would have been for her to have Michael convicted of child molestation – she would have gotten the kids along with tons of money to take care of them. But she didn't use this opportunity.
I don't know why – it could be because she didn't want the kids and she knew that she'd get money throw the lawsuit anyway. But it could be because she loved Michael, knew he was innocent and wanted to help him. In the book Aphrodite Jones says that she kept looking at Michael and her eyes were filled with tears as if she was trying to beg him for something. What was she begging him for – more money, visitation rights to see her children, forgiveness that she was standing there testifying for the prosecution ?
I don't know but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

She's also redeemed herself a bit by not asking for money to let the Jacksons raise the children and for slamming Arnold Klein. She also said a lot of good things about Michael both before and after his death.

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 8:02 pm ET

Mila, you are right on every point. And i remember the interview she gave during the "take two" footage. She explained so well her reasons and I know, she isn"t bad at all. Perhaps this tears were also for having left him, devorcing. Perhaps she regrets it and wished she could have stand by him in all this years. But she said, the media hunting was too much for her and she wanted stay away from it.
Down in her soul, I think she always loved him too.

Therefor too I'm angry with Klein, talking this bad about her! HE is bashing Michael not her!

Brigida   November 6th, 2009 8:04 pm ET

Deep inside her soul.... sorry, translation failed : )
