LKL Web Exclusive: Miko Brando on "This Is It" - It's All Michael

Posted: 06:29 PM ET

Note: Miko Brando, son of actor Marlon Brando, was a personal assistant and long-time friend of Michael Jackson.  He will be our guest tomorrow night to discuss the premier of "This Is It."  His blog is an LKL Web Exclusive.

A few weeks ago I got a call from Dame Elizabeth Taylor.  She asked if I wanted to go see Michael's new movie, "This Is It," at the Sony Studios lot.  Well, how do you turn down an invitation like that?

Miko-Brando-&-JacksonBefore I go into the movie, let me say it was an honor to be invited by Dame Elizabeth.  She looked great, and it was really nice to see her.  Michael had her over all the time, and we got to spend a lot of time together.  She's about as good as they come, and she and Michael were great friends.  They shared a mutual love, respect and admiration for each other.

Now, the movie.  Dame Elizabeth loved it, and so did I.  It was like he was still here, which made it a little bit eerie for me, and very emotional.   Thank God I had my Kleenex handy.

The movie follows Michael through the last few months at rehearsals for the "This Is It" concerts.  It's a lot of backstage footage of him through the process.

Michael's fans will really enjoy this movie.  His creative brilliance comes out in the film.  It will prove he was ready to go - he was there, just days away from going to London and doing these 50 shows.  He was 50 years-old, and he looked and sounded amazing - a genius to the end.

I'm not trying to sell anything to anybody, but this movie shows Michael was a normal person.  He went to work, and did his job, his job was just a bit different.  It will also show he was great, up to the very end.

My favorite part of the film was when Michael performed "Human Nature."   It's a hard song for me to hear it on the radio or on CD, but to see him perform it on stage - it gets to me.  I'm not sure why that song more than any other, but I always enjoyed the way he performed it on stage.  It did something for me then, and it still does.

As much as I enjoyed the movie, it was hard for me to watch.  I still don't watch movies of my dad.  It's just too tough.  I have the same feelings about seeing Michael on screen.  It's hard to watch someone I've spent so many years with - someone who was such a part of my life - look so vibrant on screen, and know he's not with me anymore.  I've had so many losses in the last few years, they're stacking up for me.

I'm told some are speculating there was a Michael "double" in parts of the movie.  I can tell you that is simply NOT TRUE.  I was there for all the rehearsals.  That's all Michael.  It's Michael Jackson, and only Michael Jackson.  They just want to make a stupid story out of nothing.

I think people will leave the theater after seeing "This Is It" saying "WOW!"  Wow because he was about as close to genius as you can get, and the film gives us a rare look at that genius.  You can't take your eyes off of him because he's so electrifying.  I'm proud of it, and I'm sure he would be too.

I hope fans and non fans alike will see this movie and find a soft spot for Michael that may not have been there before..he was genius..he was music...he was love.... and no one will come close to it. Not even close.

valerie   October 26th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

Hi Larry king,
Michael was a gift with fantastic talent! To his friends and family I'm sorry for your loss! I would love to see the movie I'm sure it would be an amazing experience, I saw previews for it and it brought me to tears! He will be missed.

still me just a new name   October 26th, 2009 7:00 pm ET

Miko how wonderful and such a blessing to have had Michael in your life. Something I know I would have never had the chance to do .The only way to have a part of him in my life now will be through his music. I will see the movie, I have to see Micheal's work. I have to experience his genius.

Viola Kunu   October 26th, 2009 7:04 pm ET

I have to &&&&&&& need to watch it over the weekend.... I heard it premiers on Wed. in the uk...... can't wait!!!!!

still me just a new name   October 26th, 2009 7:04 pm ET

Someone has been asking about Miko's dog's name. Maybe if you ask now he will answer tomorrow.

Candy°°   October 26th, 2009 7:04 pm ET

wow! Anyone an idea as of why Sony changed the slogan of the TII movie from "Like you've never seen him before" to "Discover the man you never knew?" !??! Did anyone notice that change !?!??!

Patty Anderson   October 26th, 2009 7:05 pm ET

I will be seeing this on Wed.
I am excited yet very sad. Either way it is our Michael and I am going as many times as I can within the next two weeks.

There will never ever be another
I miss you Micheal
"you are always in my heart"

Patty Anderson   October 26th, 2009 7:06 pm ET

Candy when did they change the name?
Where did you see this?

Patty Anderson   October 26th, 2009 7:08 pm ET

Same here Billiejean. Just me and my kleenex.
And maybe a bite of popcorn in between tears.

Donna Meyers   October 26th, 2009 7:09 pm ET

I can't wait I have tickets for two nights. IMAX should be spectacular. I'm taking lots of tissue.

MaryRM   October 26th, 2009 7:10 pm ET

Thumbs up from Miko and Liz – good enough for me because these are people I actually respect.

still me just a new name   October 26th, 2009 7:16 pm ET

Same here I totally respect Liz and Miko and if they say it they "loved it" than ,that too is enough for me. I am watching it twice. Once with a friend that I know will cry along with me and then with someone who I know will probably not understand the tears.

nancy/palmview, TX   October 26th, 2009 7:17 pm ET

If Miko thought the film did Michael justice, then I'm sure we, Michael's fans, will love it. I bought tickets to the local premier and my daughter and two sisters will join me. Of course, we'll have plenty of tissue. RIP Michael! You were one of a kind!

lola   October 26th, 2009 7:20 pm ET

Standing ovation for sure.........

Rebeka Davis - Recife - Brasil   October 26th, 2009 7:21 pm ET

I can not stand to wait to see TII, I know I'll cry a lot, I have more questions than answers

lola   October 26th, 2009 7:22 pm ET

Very astute of you- Maybe they changed the name because of the talk about him looking sickly in the movie or Joe Jackson talking about using doubles.

MaryRM   October 26th, 2009 7:23 pm ET

still me – yup – hubby first on Sunday and then a friend next thursday. I will decide after sunday if I want more than 2 doses.

also, I would really like and extension of the film in theatre ..... interns/modertors – got anyone's ear?

Many non-fans at work had no idea tickets would go so quickly and 2 weeks will not allow people enough time to see the film – to get to know Michael. That, after all, is the only way for his reputation to be regained – by people finally learning who he was. suppose they can get the DVD but Michael on the big screen will be amazing.

Lynn   October 26th, 2009 7:25 pm ET

Miko sounds very genuine in his opinions on the film. I believe he was a true friend to Michael. I am glad that both Miko and Elizabeth have given positive feedback on it. I an going with my husband and tissues on Wen night.

the movie tickets are not sold out yet. In my region you can still get tickets for the IMAX experience of the very premiere.

Candy°°   October 26th, 2009 7:35 pm ET

@Patty – look at the TII official site ...the slogan does not even appear on the main cover anymore, but if you digg further and go download a desktop wallpaper for ex. you will see it! It's official!

What could that mean !??!?!

Shanon   October 26th, 2009 7:41 pm ET

i love michael jackson cant wait to see the movie wednesday iam sure i will be speechless

Allure   October 26th, 2009 7:41 pm ET

Allure   October 26th, 2009 7:50 pm ET

Brigida   October 26th, 2009 7:51 pm ET

From TMZ.........

Liz Taylor saw an advanced screening of the Michael Jackson docu-film "This Is It" last night - and to say she liked it could be the biggest understatement of all time.

Taylor went to Twitter just moments ago where the star of such Hollywood classics like "Cleopatra," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and a ton of other iconic films wrote the following statement about "This Is It":

"It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen."

Liz continued, "I wept from pure joy at his God given gift. There will never, ever be the likes of him again."

UPDATE: Taylor is blasting Tweet after Tweet ... she just referred to Michael as a "modern day prophet."

Lori Quebec Canada   October 26th, 2009 7:54 pm ET

I can't wait to watch This Is It.......I'm going to go see it on Saturday.....and i'm bringing alot of kleenex.....

OMG Allure it is just amazing as Michael always was. I just listened to Planet Earth. OMG how beautiful

chris   October 26th, 2009 7:59 pm ET

Miko's stamp of approval of This Is It, along with that of Elizabeth T., is good enough for me.

Idzan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   October 26th, 2009 8:03 pm ET

No point lamenting what if.
You could have helped save Michael.
That"s what true friends are for.
My whole clan will be watching on Thursday including my 5 year old grand gal.

MourningMJ   October 26th, 2009 8:07 pm ET

You're a good guy in my book. I know you loved Michael unconditionally; and still do. I am looking forward to this movie of our beloved. Michael would be proud, Miko, carrying on his good name the way you do. I can't begin to imagine your painful loss. If it's beyond incredible for me, the light years from empty must suit your pain. I'm relieved to know that Michael had a friend in you, Miko, and of course the other way around. Your positive energy is refreshing...

You are a true friend. I appreciate your sincerity and genuineness!

Has anyone seen the book "Michael Jackson- treasures?" – it is a beautiful coffee table type book with beautiful photographs. But, it also comes with reproduction copies of concert tickets, MJ's elementary school yearbook, patent for Smooth Criminal anti-gravity shoes, his/LMP marriage license, his will and other personal items. . It feels like such an invasion of privacy looking at these items, let alone owning them....

Diane in Minneapolis   October 26th, 2009 8:29 pm ET

I truly appreciate the way Miko and Liz have handled themselves throughout this whole ordeal. Thank you for keeping it real and respectful.

Debby   October 26th, 2009 8:31 pm ET

Thank you Miko for your comments... Your friendship and memories of Michael are precious since they are from someone who valued and remained a loyal, steadfast friend.

Please consider writing a book on your friendship with Michael... let the world know about the real person you were privileged to know...

I've been thinking about Michael's song "will you be there?"... I think it is fitting for his true fans to be there for his last concert... it was his last gift to us... He loved his fans and we love you more, Michael.

How about a nice comment about This Is It?

Kenneth1952   October 26th, 2009 8:50 pm ET

Larry King
How can the Los Angles Police Department let Dr. Murry off the hook for murder? Dr. Murrry claims that he just witnessed the death and had nothing to do with Jackson's death. Dr. Murry Claimed to be Jackson's doctor and treated Michel and the children. In this mixed up world we are going to arest balloon boy's father for a false police report. But no charges are being filed on Dr. Murry for his role in Jackson's death. As a common citzen try to go to the hospital and tell a doctor that you can't sleep and you want drugs to get you there. Is it because Michel had more money and power to get what he wanted. But Doctors are to protect you from yourself if you are sucidal and want to go where only Elvis has gone before. No one has ever die from not sleeping. Some one put the drug in Jackson body and some one should be called on the carpet over his death. What do you think Larry maybe we can hire Dr. Murry to help us get through the night.

Maggie - London   October 26th, 2009 8:54 pm ET

Daily News by Nancy Dillon
Los Angeles – Dame Elizabeth Taylor wants the world to see the new Michael Jackson movie.

The 77-year-old Hollywood legend took to Twitter Monday to gush about "This is It," calling the late King of Pop a "modern day prophet" and the flick the best she has ever seen.

"I was honored with the great privilege of seeing 'This Is It' last week. I was sworn to secrecy, but now I can let you know about it," she wrote. "It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen. It cements forever Michael's genius in every aspect of creativity."

"To say the man is a genius is an understatement. He cradles each note, coaxes the music to depths beyond reality," she tweeted.

"You owe it to yourselves and your loved ones to see this again and again. Memorize it and say to yourselves, 'I saw genius in my lifetime.'" "If you listen to his lyrics, they are those of a modern-day prophet and it beseeches us to listen to him and what he sang," she wrote.

"We must his take his words of responsibility seriously. We cannot let his life be in vain."

Sean   October 26th, 2009 9:22 pm ET

Every MJ fan should take the opportunity to witness Michael's genius on the big screen..Liz Taylor said it best.

From DameElizabeth twitter:

You owe it to yourselves and your loved ones to see this again and again. Memorize it and say to yourselves, "I saw genius in my lifetime"
I loved genius in my lifetime. God was so good to me. I will love Michael forever and so will you, if you don't already

Elise - Omaha, NE   October 26th, 2009 9:26 pm ET

I still can't believe he's gone. Makes me so very sad. Our family will see "This is It" on Wednesday evening. I'll be sure to bring my tissues . . . Miss you, Michael. I'm sorry so many turned their backs on you. You rocked my world.

keisha   October 26th, 2009 9:31 pm ET

Mr. Brandon, I don't know if you will read this but I would like to say Thank you for letting me know that you liked the film. I can't wait to see it myself. I will be taking my kleenex with me. I am going to see it twice. Once by myself and then with a friend of mine. I think you are an awesome man and human being for standing up for Michael. I never met Michael or even been to one of his concerts, so I am looking forward to seeing him and watching his brillance, his compassion, and the love he had in what he did and believed. He was a good looking man to me especially as he got older. I say this because of what he believed and how he had so much love for others. Love is what makes a person goodlooking or beautiful inside and out. We all need to have love in our lives the way he did. He was an individual whom I would have been proud and honored to call my friend.

Andrea   October 26th, 2009 9:34 pm ET

Thanks, Miko! I feel much better about seeing the movie now. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the film with us and I look foward to watching you tomorrow night. Major love, Miko! XOXO

I posted this in another blog but this one seems to be where everyone is now... regarding the back panel of the album packaging...:

Can anyone explain to me how a dead man receives main production credit on a soundtrack for a supposedly unplanned posthumous movie? I'm not being snarky either, I'd really be interested if anybody can explain this to me. And, "Always great to sing with my brother." ...Who wrote that?

It seems my feelings that the movie was the plan all along is beginning to coagulate.

Mary Rose   October 26th, 2009 9:45 pm ET

If you go to the reflectionsonthedance website, and click on Guestbook, there is a beautiful picture of Michael that I know I have not seen before. The picture is right above the words "guest book".
He's smiling and happy and beautiful!! I can just hear that laugh! I love it!! I'm determined to stay happy this week.
(sorry, the link wouldn't work).

Miko, your tribute to your dear friend is heartbreaking. Our hearts ache that we no longer have Michael, but for friends like you and Elizabeth Taylor, the emotional turmoil you have had to deal with must be unbearable. I hear the pain in your voice. Thank you for honoring Michael the way you do. You say loving and respectful things about him that help us to know him better and you keep quiet, too, out of love and respect for the Michael that only you could know. We really can have only a few close friends in this life. It is comforting to me to know Michael had this kind of loyal friend in you. May God give you much peace in this time of grieving and in the days ahead.

sheyla   October 26th, 2009 9:47 pm ET

I was sitting around today and i was watching tv and heard about who is and isn't going to watch the 'THIS IS IT" movie,Why are we so wrapped up in that for ?? Has even the police forgot not only did Dr. Conrad Murray kill a pop star but he took a life that was a father, son, brother and uncle..He amitted that he gave him propofol ... so why isn't anything being done ???? it has been over 3 months now and still he walking the streets..eating and sleeping in his own bed in his warm home and WHERE IS MICHAEL???? If Dr. Conard gets away with this cause((( now they are talking about child support (((CHILD SUPPORT))) PLEASE! ,That will give way to the others to take the drug and give it to someone and get away with it..I think it is time for someone to answer why isn't he in jail..Are they waiting for us to forget what happen..Well this and other ones WILL NEVER FORGET AND WANT ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!

rokeisha   October 26th, 2009 9:48 pm ET

I will be going to see it Saturday can't wait michael has always been a big part of my life since 1980 when I first discovered him. and he will live in my heart forever. I know the movie will be great he was at his best and he looked happy about being on stage again,

charlene   October 26th, 2009 9:50 pm ET

where do you get the tickets??? boy im certainly out of the modern day info???

carie   October 26th, 2009 9:53 pm ET

I get chills at the prospect that Michael's death is all a hoax...that he orchestrated the most amazing Houdini death hoax in history!!! It would be wild if 20 years from now Michael comes out of hiding and tells us all about his adventures living as a regular human being..all the benches he warmed chatting to moms on the playgrounds, and to kids at Disneyland. Hmmmmm...maybe that is his heaven, and that's just what he's doing!!:):) My grandmother will love him!!! Something that has been on my mind today. Be well all.

Tee   October 26th, 2009 9:53 pm ET

I am so elated to hear about Michael's movie. I can't wait to see it this Friday with my friends. I have my tissues ready to cry both tears of joy and sadness. His spirit will always remain with me.

I'm going to see the film this Friday. I'm taking my dad, he already gave me a heads up that he might get emotional. I told him he won't be the only one.

I also got a chance to listen to "She's Out of My Life" demo and it's absolutely beautiful 🙂

stranger in M   October 26th, 2009 10:04 pm ET

sheyla, I keep wondering the same thing. It has been FOUR months since Michael died, not three. Murray is still a free man even though they told us in no uncertain terms that he murdered Michael. Ok, there may be others involved but Murray we know for sure. Why don't they arrest him and then continue their investigation into the others? No one can convince that they don't have enough to arrest this murderer who let him die while he was talking on the phone.... I'm beginning to to think they are not interested or willing to get justice for Michael. If they think the fans are going to just go away, they're in for a big surprise. MJ fans are not like any other fans. MJ fans have a connection with him that is real, deep and intimate. This isn't going to go away. We won't let that happen. As long as there is no justice for Michael, we will not forget, never!

Citing Sources-

The filming of his rehearsals was planned. Michael filmed all of his rehearsals so that he could later review them to see what worked and what didn't work. The filming in HD was to be used during the O2 concerts from what I hear. In other words he was going to use the HD filmed sequence to make the concerts more visually spectacular. It was also shot in 3D...(I don't know why they decided to show it in 2D).

Main production credit is given because Michael did do the work (as you will see in the movie).
As far as "Always great to sing with my brother." I can't help you on that....Michael has said that in the past, but I don't know how or in what context it applies here.

Svitlana   October 26th, 2009 10:10 pm ET

"This is it" is a true event. As I look it did really happened. The effort – that's what counts the most.
As Michael said at the last day of his preparations for the concerts:"Thank you for taking me so far. I can take it from there". He did show us that his desire and dreams about come back were strong and real. He overstepped his physical pain and public humiliation. He was ready to go...
Michael Jackson is all about Love to the planet Earth and all it's creations.
I know him as a musician; now I listen his poem and think about how we make our own destiny. I can feel his pain...his innocence.
So gentle, and caring, and loving heart. He can touch your soul with his lyrics. Personally I do not like his "Thriller" era that was his blessing in a music industry and also a curse in his life. As he went through the tragedies, he developed very deep creative mind and sensitive soul. He is a true Artist. He is a Man. He is a Human.
They say:"He was famous because he was not normal" – this opinion is for the crowd. We all have two sides that are forever in conflict. But rare unique human as Michael Jackson with his philosophy of "Heal the World with Love" brings very strong moral message. His talent is able to touch the soul of people who are prepared to listen and open the mind of those who are able to think.
For me Michael is like a meteorite.
Elizabeth Taylor said: "I think he is one of the fines people to hit this planet".
He left a bright light on the horizon buy burning himself for us.
Allow yourself to know Michael Jackson in his deepest emotions.
So, listen his poem "Planet Earth" and open your heart, feel it, make a change...

Thank you Larry K. & Miko & Liz.. Michael was beautiful because of his huge heart & his amazing & loving soul. We his fans, whether old faithful fans, or returning fans (sorry now that we ever abandoned him), miss him terribly. Thank God there was filming of the rehearsals for "This Is It" so this movie could be created. I can't wait to see it. In fact, if I can, I'm going several times. I too will take my box of tissue. I'm going to need it. Let's all try to give from our hearts as Michael did.

Dame Elizabeth tweets on This Is It:

"I was honored with the great privilege of seeing "This Is It" last week. I was sworn to secrecy, but now I can let you know about it.
It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen. It cements forever Michael's genius in every aspect of creativity.
To say the man is a genius is an understatement. He cradles each note, coaxes the music to depths beyond reality.
I wept from pure joy at his God given gift. There will never, ever be the likes of him again. And we have this piece of film to remind us forever and ever that once there was such a man. God kissed him. God blessed him and squandered nothing, but loved it all.
Michael knew how to put together every tone, every nuance to make magic. To say he was a genius seems so little. I wish my vocabulary encompassed what I feel.
You owe it to yourselves and your loved ones to see this again and again.
Memorize it and say to yourselves, "I saw genius in my lifetime".
I loved genius in my lifetime. God was so good to me. I will love Michael forever and so will you, if you don't already.
I hope I don't sound condescending. I'm sure you already know what I'm talking about, but go to see it again and again. I meant to repeat myself. I love you. I remember Michael loved you.
He was totally up to now and the message of today in all his songs. If you listen to his lyrics they are those of a modern day prophet and it beseeches us to listen to him and what he sang. I won't use words like preaching because that is off-putting, but listen. Listen to his messages. From "Black And White", "Man In The Mirror". The inspiration behind "We Are The World". We must take his words of responsibility seriously. We cannot let his life be in vain / and always done with love. Remember that. Remember him and thank God for him and his genius.
Kenny Ortega did a masterful job of directing the process that goes into making a complete show before hitting the stage. From A to Z you get Michael's input on every level. Michael's genius at work with the dancers. Mr. Ortega catches Michael in his every mood. You see in front of your eyes Michael's genius blossoming on this piece of film thanks to Kenny Ortega and his crews."

I agree in everything you said, yet i do not agree in the comments that Michael was a suisidle if it's that what you meant....I'm so sry if I misunderstood you if so pls do accept my appology but I do not agree He was suisidle. Michael was alway against drugs, and I do not believe if He was that desperet to sleep coz He couldn't and had to for the reharsels still i don't agree with what Dr. M. went along to do for Michael.
Yet I agree in all the rest about the DOC. and all

How about the false accusations about Michael Jackson, how fast they where to take him in handcuffs and arrest the most sweet and the most kind and the most loving and the most honect person on this planet....He was takin like the worst criminal over the one lie one did for greed and took advantige over the sweet man who let him and the rest of his family into His NEVERLAND HOME....I still feel sick to my stomok I haven't been eating and sleeping since Michael's death perhaps the DOC can help me and the entire world now cooz some are having thesame problems I'm having.
Michael Joseph Jackson was a special Man a Blessed Innocent human being and still speaks filth about Him and that's what breaks us all apart to peaces....We all knows how innocent HE was His vidios shows even more....and THE ENTIRE WORLD LOVE HIM EVEN MORE

Gerald Jolly   October 26th, 2009 10:37 pm ET

C'mon folks, he's just another hanger on trying to make money of of Micheals death.

He is not and never was Micheal's friend, all he was , was a provider that was in the game for money.

Stacey   October 26th, 2009 10:41 pm ET

It's bitter sweet. I unfortunately cannot go see the movie.. I wish I could.... Just by looking at the previews I know it will be a great movie. Michael will be able to show all of us that he was still the King and he still had it..... Although most of us already knew Michael never lost it and he will always be the King, he never left his throne.... Nothing will ever change that....... I also hope that the movie shows Michael as the caring, loving, and great person he was, because above everything else he was human and I think alot of people forget that....

Sooner or later we shall see you again.... R.I.P

sonia   October 26th, 2009 10:41 pm ET

What a great dancer, the greatest performer of our times. Michael jackson, thank you for giving us this beautiful gift; I'm going to see the movie «THIS IS IT» on wednesday but Michael is eternal now. He will remain in our memory forever. Sandy-Houston   October 26th, 2009 10:44 pm ET

I believe that is the most heartfelt tribute to Michael that I have heard so far. Thank you for being his friend.
And I will see his last gift to all of us over and over again.
Our God is a loving, compassionate God. And I believe he will show Michael and let him feel the outpouring of love from his fans who will go and see this piece of work. The heart of Michael.
I, for one Elizabeth will not let his life be in vain. He gave me too much not to help make this world a better place. I owe it to all that he stood for to live a better life. What better example can anyone of us leave on this Earth.

lola   October 26th, 2009 10:48 pm ET

I am not sure about that....afterall....Michael must have had some friends that really cared about him. Why not, Miko??? Don't forget it was Miko who with his bare hands put the fire out when Michael's hair caught fire fimlming the Pepsi commercial. He acted quickly, without thinking of himself first........he may genuinely have cared a great deal for Michael. He stood by him for many years.

Thank you Miko for your uplifting comments about " This is it" movie. I am excited to see it even more now and am anxious to see Michael's genius up close and personal. My heart goes out to you and Dame Elizabeth for the emotions that you went through while you watched your friend so alive on the screen and doing what he loved. I too am an ex- jehovah's Witness and know the emotional turmoil that Michael must have gone through and the fact that you don't have a normal childhood in that religion coupled with being so famous and having to practice and entertain constantly would make anyone a little different to some people. I think he was a wonderful, kind person who was a genius as well, He truly was one of a kind.

Kim from MN   October 26th, 2009 11:36 pm ET

Weird, weird things are happening on the michael jackson site.

Has anybody on here listened to the hoax videos on youtube about numbers being transposed/backwards/sideways?

Well, that is what is happening on the site right now. All the posts are backwards a thread that had been created two months ago has now been deleted. The thread was about his faked death and we have been posting all along and now all of a sudden it has been deleted. We are all speculating that maybe we were getting too close to the truth.

Or maybe it's nothing, but as it has been stated on here, something is about to happen.

And one other thing. Remember LK already had a blog on Liz giving two thumbs up on Oct. 23rd for the movie? Then why is TMZ saying she only saw it last night?

Imagination running overtime? Maybe!

Keep your eyes and ears open!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to go and investigate Murray – someone said they found his name as an actor while surfing.

Maria   October 26th, 2009 11:58 pm ET

@ Kim: Being the superficial tabloid that they are, TMZ wrote their story about Liz Taylor only because they saw her twits. They obviously didn't talk with her to ask for details and only supposed that she saw the movie last night.
She twitted now because it's just before the day of the premiere, not because she saw the movie last night. As she says clearly in her twit, "I was honored with the great privilege of seeing "This Is It" last week".

The first who had reported about that was Roger Friedman on Oct 19:

Michael Jackson’s documentary, “This Is It,” had a special, secret screening the other night at Sony. None other than Elizabeth Taylor got her own private viewing. And the word is, she loved it.

Taylor brought with her several family members. Also in the audience, acccording to sources, were Michael’s longtime insiders Miko Brando and Evvy Tavasci. Also there was famed international hairdresser Jose Eber.

I thought a lot about the investigation too, although nothing can bring back Michael now, but it's really sad to see him live on a big screen and at the same time knowing where his body is now laid.

I had hoped that by the time TII was released, Murray should have been arrested but there has been a dead silience which is really painful to experience.

He killed the world's beloved genius, and the only parent of the three kids. It brings tears to my eyes every time I read about them.

Missy   October 27th, 2009 12:56 am ET

I am going to see This is it wednesday! Thank you Miko for being such a good friend to Michael! I hate how all the trashy tabliods continue to name called and ridicule him!! I pray for the Jackson family and i pray that justice will be done!

Justice for Michael!!

BTW, I'm going tomorrow Premier at 11PM; Jackie already saw the premier and the other siblings minus LaToya will see it tomorrow!
As usually Joe Jackson is making noise because he is not in charge of the cash flow and the handling of MJ's business awares. Joe has his place because he has made enough noise that the LAPD & the LADA'S OFFICE IS CONDUCTING A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF MJ'S DEATH; HOWEVER; WHEN IT COMES TO MJ'S ESTATE AND THE CHILDREN HE AND LA TOYA NEED TO BUTTON UP! These have got to be the two most self-destructing folks in the world!
MJ your fans are still here and we continue to love You, Your children, Your mother and Sibling forever. We the fan has vow to do whatever it take to make sure that your children and mother get everything they need!

Dr. Gayle   October 27th, 2009 1:32 am ET

I'm like Janet, still grieving. I can't imagine the joy and pain that Miko and Dame Elizabeth felt. I just hate that his death was all so preventable and people really did not try to know him until he was too soon gone. My whole life was tied to MJ music and I had the fortune of seeing him live 3 times and even outside his hotel balcony with his brothers waving at me. I just feel so sad and know that we had inner pain that is very similar. I hope the famiy does comebck to the limelight and that his children or one of them can go into the business and as Michael said
'be better than me!" I love all the Jacksons, just Michael the most. I hope he's dancing and singing to the King of Kings!

Kim from MN   October 27th, 2009 1:48 am ET

Hey guys –

It is my understanding that Prince never went upstairs even though Murray requested Kai to send him up, right?

I was just reading through the search warrant of the storage unit and didn't realize there was more to it than just the search warrant; the affidavit from Murray is attached. In it it states that Murray did summon for Prince to go upstars and it says P. Jackson went upstairs and summoned the security detail and that is when Alvarez responded and called 911.

Can someone please tell me what they believe the truth is on this? As if we have any truth in this at all.

Mary Finney   October 27th, 2009 1:49 am ET

I'm from Gary and saw the greatness of Michael after he and his brothers had signed at Motown; he did a concert for Mayor Hatcher. You could see the greatness of a great performer in the making. The Jackson house has been visited like never before. There are even bus tours from Chicago with people from all over the world. I went there myself for the first time. I'm 63 and felt his death as hard as the other millions of his fans. I'm sure he'd probably get a real kick of all the visitors coming to his very 'little home' in Gary. RIP...Peter Pan!!

mjpyt   October 27th, 2009 2:07 am ET

I didn't look at the pics…what i think that is interesting is this:

Lane Lassiter, a longtime local Jackson impersonator, has a hunch that's what Jackson's handlers had in mind when they met with him recently.

Lassiter met backstage with Jackson's representatives about two weeks ago. He was asked if he would be available for an unspecified job.

"They came upstairs after the show and said they liked the picture I sent them," said Lassiter. He found it unusual that they didn't attend the show.

"They didn't tell me any more than I needed to know,"

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:08 am ET

It has been a wild ride. I have been here since the beginning and have seen it all. I have never seen it so empty in here though I am starting to wonder what's up.

Mila   October 27th, 2009 2:08 am ET

Hi Lynn, Kim,
You can hear LaToya say this in her interview with Barbara.
I can't quote her precisely right now but it was something to the effect of he called Prince upstairs and he watched him do this (administer CPR) and you don't do this to a chilld, especially when you know that their father is already gone.
The interview is available on YouTube.

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:09 am ET

Hey Mila-
How are you?

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:10 am ET

What pictures are you alluding to?

Mila   October 27th, 2009 2:11 am ET

A lot of people said they wanted to prepare mentally for the movie so they didn't want to blog before they see the movie.

Apart from that – seems like there's nothing to talk about 🙂 since we have no new info about the investigation and when it comes to the hoax investigation we always end up fighting.

Mila   October 27th, 2009 2:14 am ET

I'm OK – I was happy to hear This Is It today.
Did you see the booklet that comes with the CD ?

I was thinking about the way Michael looks on these photos (there is something different in his face) and I think it is that he looks like a person who's not slept.

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:15 am ET

I hate the fighting!!! I have seen where people said they would be taking time off for the movie. I wish that I could relax myself enough to get sleep before tomorrow, but my mind is just racing right now.

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:18 am ET

I made the mistake of ordering my copy and I do not have it yet=(
Michael always said that he had trouble sleeping, that he got the majority of his ideas at night and could not turn his mind off, especially when in the middle of a big project, and this is arguably the biggest of his life.

Barbara   October 27th, 2009 2:20 am ET

I have heard several versions of what took place on June 25th, 2009. The first one was that Michael was standing up, and suddenly fell over. Prince saw this and thought Michael was pulling a prank. Prince went into hysterics when he found out it was no practical joke-his father had apparently died.

The second story I heard, which is the most well-known account, is the one where Dr. Murray having come in from the bathroom and finding Michael breathing but without a pulse, performs C.P.R. on the bed.

The third reporting is similar to the second, only in this incidence, Dr, Murray finds Michael unconscious and summons for Prince to come to the bedroom and perform C.P.R. on his father.

Kai Chase's story described the children being in the kitchen at the supposed time of death and after hearing of the tragic news, had the children hold hands and pray.

Lastly, I also heard that Dr. Murray found Michael dead. In this case, Michael had apparently died earlier that morning and the evidence was that of post-mortem lividity in which, a settling of the blood in the lower portion of the body, causes a purplish red discoloration of the skin.

Now I don't know about you, but that seems like a lot of inconsistencies for one death.

Love you Michael ☆ ★

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:25 am ET

Barbara good to see you here!! btw I loved your posts Sat/Sun, I had a big smile on my face reading them!!

I also heard (maybe the same as your #1 senario just different location) that the children were all in the living room when Michael collapsed and thought it was a joke until they saw the ambulance pull up. This was the first account I heard on the news June 25th.

Katy   October 27th, 2009 2:29 am ET

My heart is still sad for the loss!! I truly hope they start to arrest all the people that had a hand in his death!! What a beautiful soul, May he Rest in Peace and sing with the Angels!! I'd love to see the movie but doubt I will be able to, so for people like me that cant get out Please enjoy it for us, and hopefully someday they will put it on TV for those of us that cant go, Heck I cried watching the Dancing with the stars show last week in Honor of MJ, It makes me sad and Angry that his life was cut short at the hands of a person in the medical field, Guy called himself a Doctor????? They need to put him away, God Bless the Family and you Miko for being such a wonderful friend to MJ, I'm glad he had you, good friends are hard to find.

Hi All –

All blogs are quite tonight!

Nobody is on the michael jackson site but me and there are really strange things happening over there.

This could just be a coincidence but I had posted some information that I had found and poof the thread got deleted. That thread had been on that forum for about two months – it was about faking his death.

And why is there so much inconsistency with everything?

When is everybody going to the movie? I'll be there on the 27th!

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:40 am ET

I saw that earlier in the blog. What site is it that is going crazy?

I'm going on the 27th too!

Lori - Justice For Michael   October 27th, 2009 2:51 am ET

Hello all...can you just feel the energy and anticipation building?

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 2:56 am ET

I can feel both. I am also feeling what may be the start of a nervous breakdown if I can't relax myself=) My mind just keeps going and there is a weird energy around tonight. I need some good ol' fashioned gold pants diversion!!

Robin J Church   October 27th, 2009 3:04 am ET

Barbara   October 27th, 2009 3:08 am ET

@Lynn, thank you re: posts. To tell you the truth, I don't remember what I posted, but I am glad you had a moment of happiness during this difficult time.

I am going to head to bed's almost 3:00a.m. but I did want to come here and wish everyone a restful sleep and peaceful day tomorrow.

I know some of you (including me) will be viewing the movie this week and I am sure many of you are experiencing as I am, a plethora of emotions.

I hope that between the tears, we can also rejoice, and be thankful that in our short time on this earth, we had the pleasure of receiving Michael into our lives.

Because of him we were able to connect on this forum, with other people across the globe that we might not have otherwise met, and were able to reach out to one another in love and kindness.

If Michael did die, and at this point who knows, I wish he could have stayed in this world a while longer. A piece of my heart and a part of my soul were taken when he left.

However, what has really helped me over the past four months is being able to come here and read, reflect, ponder and post. It has given me the inner strength to move forward and hope for his return, or sadly face his demise.

As Mother Teresa once said: “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier."

I feel happier having come here and seeing the genuine dedication and outpouring of love from Michael's fans. I know Michael would be proud!

Love you Michael ☆★

It is the michael jackson dot com site.

Kim from MN   October 27th, 2009 3:16 am ET

And yes, it does seem like an electrical charge going through the air. I thought it was just me feeling like something was going to happen.

And don't forget on the michaljackson dot com site at 7 EST on the 27th they are going to stream the red carpet affair from Los Angeles. So if you don't get MTV you can just go there and watch!

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 3:18 am ET

You said it perfectly! Thank you too for your contributions here!
Good Night and Sleep Well

Very strange it happened there, that is the official site?!?

Kim from MN   October 27th, 2009 3:24 am ET

That is the official site. I've been hopping back and forth from there to here, and it is still like a ghost town.

Where has everybody gone? Maybe another blog?

Lisa S   October 27th, 2009 3:24 am ET

I wonder how Miko copes. I mean, we lost a hero and an idol but he lost not only a close friend but the whole meaning of his life. I mean, he had been working for Michael fog ages, when people are mourning sometimes it is good to go back to routines like work etc, but his work was and had been with Michael all his adult life. So he will not only try to find a way to live on without his dear friend but also find a new job and a whole new life and way to spend his day. Must be so hard.

I believe we will see the truth in the movie, no doubt about that but the thing with the truth it is that it is all about perceptions. Appearently, people seeing Michael in may have said he looked like a wreck others said he was in top health and yet they watched the same person. Same thing with this movie. I doubt they would ever think about using doubles.

Will be interesting to hear what the family will say. I think the fact that Elizabeth Taylor and Miko has been the ones seeing the movie and talking about it says alot about the difference between their relation to Michael vs his familys´.

I respect Liz Taylor so much, for bringing so much joy to Michaels life, for always supporting him and for looking after him.

Kim from MN   October 27th, 2009 3:26 am ET

And another odd thing about the thread being deleted is right after i posted some information that's when it got deleted. Are we getting too close to the truth?

Jessie from Auckland, NZ   October 27th, 2009 3:29 am ET

Great to get positive feedback for "This Is It " from Michael's best pals, Elizabeth Taylor and Miko Brando. I do agree with Elizabeth Taylor that Michael Jackson did sound like a modern day prophet. Thank you both for your wonderful comments and your support for him. Your love for Michael shines through and you will keep his legacy going.

I was able to get a ticket, no trouble, from our Westfield Mall Cinemas here in Manukau, South Auckland, New Zealand, for Thursday 29th October. So I hope the folks from here in South Auckland will all go and see it.

Kim from MN   October 27th, 2009 3:35 am ET

This is just getting too weird for me. I'm going to say goodnight to all. I just kicked off of here and took me forever to get back on.

Everybody have a great day!

And for all of those going to the movie, don't forget your tissues!!

Keep Michaeling all!

Thank you Miko for sharing your views and information with Larry about Michael Jackson for all of us-the fans to listen and learn more about him personally. Very nice to be invited by the one and only Elizabeth Taylor for the special showing of This Is It. Wonderful to see her out and about with Michael's children. This is hard for everyone that knew him, my prayers are with you all.

Jim Caulder   October 27th, 2009 3:46 am ET

By-Jim Caulder – 10-25-09

Michael Jackson was born with an incredible amount of talent. He worked hard to develop his talent, his craft.
Some believe that he was forced to practice, was abused, exploited and not allowed to have a normal childhood. Joe Jackson, Michael`s father, has been named as responsible for most of these offenses.
The truth will never be known about many facets of Michael`s life. How he was treated as a child and how he treated children.
The inability to know the truth will not stop people from making up their own minds about what his life was like. We will each in our own way, with our own set of life experiences, our values, sort through what we have heard, seen, feel, and will arrive at a conclusion that we are comfortable with.
I am no different than anyone else. I arrived at my comfortable conclusion long ago and it has not been changed by his death. Michael Jackson was weird. He was a strange individual. He had talent, but his adult life, as defined by his years on this earth, was troubled, and troubling to me. I say it that way, because, I am not sure he ever grew-up emotional/mentally. His personal choices showed a lack of judgment possessed by most adults.
I think he was deprived of a normal childhood, was pressured to be all that he could be in a narrow entertainment definition. However, he would never have risen to the heights that he did, if he had not been driven externally and internally.
Only Michael Jackson could answer the question of whether it was worth losing his childhood to gain celebrity status. He did answer that question in typical Michael Jackson fashion. Michael when asked if he would give up his stardom in exchange for a normal childhood, replied NO! Yet, he could not live with who he was. He made choices that led to his death.
Michael Jackson, is history, and will soon be forgotten.
Many young children are growing up in the entertainment industry. Are we going to see this sad example of child exploitation and adult addiction to self-destruction repeated a thousand times over? What is our role/duty as a member of this society? Should we enact laws to protect children? Should we allow our children to buy products, or attend concerts, or even listen to music performed by exploited children?
From Judy Garland to Michael Jackson, the tragic pattern continues. We elevate child stars to celebrity deity, and then can`t divert our gaze as they plunge into their personal hell!

Lori - Justice For Michael   October 27th, 2009 3:47 am ET

Well Lynn - that is just a litte strange. Is it just me, or is all the formatting strange on the LKL tonight also?? I guess it is just general all around weirdness. The usual crowd is absent. And then we will be seeing the movie. I wonder if the weirdness will persist for the next day or two?

The people behind "This Is It" are furious over reports that the Michael Jackson featured in the movie is a body double - claiming those reports are "pure garbage."

The controversy began earlier this month after Joe Jackson claimed the media was going to "tear this movie apart" - and insisted it was "mostly body doubles."

But a rep from Sony - co-producers of the flick - tells TMZ, "This story is pure garbage and there are no body doubles.

Audiences will begin to see the film tomorrow and every time they see The King of Pop they will know that every frame is unquestionably Michael as he rehearses and prepares for the London concerts that were to have begun this past summer."

Lynn-IL   October 27th, 2009 4:14 am ET

I think he means that this blog is quiet b/c the posters were all planted by aeg/sony. Its not true though some are on other blogs and some are staying away until they see the movie.

Susan62509   October 27th, 2009 4:21 am ET

IMO, web videos are NOT being deleted because "we are getting to close". They are being deleted because it's old news and it is not truthful.

The DA is handling the MJ case. It takes time to review all the files the LAPD and DEA have provided to them. The DA determines what charges to apply to Dr. Murray. I would rather the DA take all the time in the world and get it right rather than rush and get it wrong. Most cases takes a year or longer, so actually 4 months isn't very long. We just need patience.

For all of the different scenarios surrounding Dr. Murrary and who was upstairs (Paris? Prince?) etc., we can thank the media for this. LaToya and Jermaine have both said Prince was called upstairs by Dr. Murrary.

Lisa S   October 27th, 2009 4:21 am ET

Maybe it was because a lot of people find it really offending when the discussion about Michael faking his own death gets out of proportion?

I accept everybody´s opinion but I think the discussions have some one gone too far and lead almost into a fight so I think that some people might have reacted.

Erin   October 27th, 2009 4:22 am ET

I have always admired that you have been one of the few people that has shown restraint and respect during this time of mourning. I want to send you my deepest condolences for losing your close friend Michael Jackson. Millions of MJ fans have been grieving this loss and I can not imagine what it has been like for you. You were and still are loyal to Michael and he clearly thought highly of you as well. Not too many people are able to marry at Neverland and have MJ there with you. Thank you again for looking after the greatest man who blessed us with his talent, love and compassion. Long live the KING OF POP in our hearts and memories forever.

Susan62509   October 27th, 2009 4:29 am ET

Since Joe Jackson said TII is full of body doubles after only watching 12 minutes of the footage, I'll take his statement and throw it in the trash. If he can't recognize his own son, it's time for a retirement home for Joe.

Miko, thanks for bringing MJ fans up-to-date. What an honor to be invited by Dame Elizabeth Taylor. It appears that Elizabeth knows who are the true friends of MJ. I also feel that if MJ's death was a hoax, neither of you would be publically making announcements of TII.

Susan62509   October 27th, 2009 4:35 am ET

CNN revised their entire website. Perhaps some of the LKL bloggers don't know how to get into the LKL site yet.

Just because fans want to see the documentary TII, does not mean they are pro AEG/Sony or work for them. Good grief !!!!

Joanne Davies   October 27th, 2009 4:43 am ET

Wow....what a lovely reasurance that the film does him justice.....some positive words for Michael -AT LAST!!!....The test would definately be Elizabeth Taylor, as I feel that apart from his mother Katherine, she was one of the 'true' friends and supports in his life, thankgod for her, he could always turn to her.....I have had my tickets for 4 weeks now and I can't wait to see this final performance from this beautifu man, who I have loved and supported for 31 years, I just hope I can fight the tears back enough to be able to actually see the movie......God love you Michael.....because I know we fans do!!! xxx

Susan62509   October 27th, 2009 4:44 am ET

Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” opens worldwide in theaters on Wednesday. But you won’t be seeing it on DVD until February.

That’s because the movie studios have a deal with DVD companies. There has to be a 90-day window after the movie has played in theaters before it’s available in stores.

“This Is It” is set to play for two weeks, from Oct. 28-Nov. 13. Sony won’t admit it, but if it does well, the documentary could get a one or two week extension in theaters.

Either way, count 90 days from the end of its theater run before you can buy it as a DVD. That means no Michael Jackson Christmas. The earliest it would turn up is Feb. 13.

Net 'closing in on Jackson murderer'
by Miles Godfrey
October 25, 2009

MICHAEL Jackson was murdered and his killer will be caught soon, one of his closest friends in show business says.

Teddy Riley, co-producer of Jackson's multi-platinum Dangerous album and founding member of R&B band Blackstreet, says he and Jackson's family are confident they know who the pop artist's killer is and that they will be caught soon.

Blackstreet are in Australia as VIP guests for Wednesday's world premiere of the film about Jackson's life, This Is It.

Asked if Jackson was murdered, Riley told AAP: "I said that the first day.

"I called the family and I said listen, 'He was murdered'.

"Somebody didn't like something he said or something he's doing or didn't want him to go to the top so they had to get rid of him."

Riley worked extensively with Jackson over the last 18 years and counted himself a close personal friend.

Blackstreet co-founder Chauncey Hannibal agrees the singer was murdered.

Jackson's family have accused those close to the singer of murdering him and the Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Jackson's death was a homicide caused primarily by Propofol and another sedative.

Riley and Hannibal saw Jackson two days before he died on June 26, in rehearsal for his planned comeback sell-out tour in London.

Riley said Jackson was in "great health" just prior to his death but admitted he did suffer some pain because of his skin.

Asked who killed the singer, Riley replied: "You're going to find out.

"We've got so many people we think it could be. It's going to come out.

"He was doing so great at his rehearsals. I was over at the studio two days before ... two days later he was gone.

"He was in great health. Only thing that bothered him is he gets in pain. When he works hard, he gets home, he's in pain because of his skin. Other than that he was in great shape."

Riley said no current artist would ever enjoy the iconic status achieved by Jackson.

"(His death) has definitely affected us really badly, our whole family, we still think he's here, people think Elvis still lives, well Michael Jackson lives on in a lot of people's hearts."

Blackstreet are playing a two date mini tour of Australia in December.

They will be at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre on December 4 and The Forum, Melbourne on December 6.

It is the first time the band has played in Australia and is likely to feature some Jackson tribute material.

hi everyone!! i believe what miko said about this is it, its going to be a great opportunity for us (the fans) to see michael's last great performances. but i disagree about michael's health matter. he was not healthy, we all knew that. it doesn't mean that AEG murdered him though, i'm not trying to speculate here :). i'm going to see this is it tomorrow.

I need kleenex now, reading all these comments always brings tears to my eyes. I guess just reminds me how special MJ was. I live in a rural town on the East Coast of Australia & thought no way it would be shown here. Have been searching the web everyday for weeks, I nearly burst with excitement when I discovered it was. And its only a bus ride away. U WHOOO. All that praying worked, God works in mysterious ways. Iam soo very grateful. Still can't get enough of MJ.

MaryRM   October 27th, 2009 6:48 am ET

when the pre-sell tickets were first available I bought them on the cineplex website. but there were cineplex theatres that were closer to my home that were not on the list. So I bought what was available.

Now I go to the website of my local cineplex theatre (it has coming soon a maximum of 5 days in advance) and it is playing in at least 4 theatres at that complex, with a total of 19 showings that day.

So not sure why all the theatres were not offered right away, but I now have tickets to one of Wednesday's shows. So anyone interested should check their local theatre's website, they may still be able to get tickets for just about any time/day they want.

I'm telling everyone at work to go see it so that they can see for the first time who Michael Jackson really was – the wacko caricature portrayed in tabloids and even the mainstream media.

Lisa S   October 27th, 2009 6:51 am ET

Yes, i am 🙂

I doubt Murray will be charged with murder. If so they would never have given him so much time to hide evidence, disapear, commit suicide or in other way escape the court. I dont think he is a murder either or deliberately wanted to kill Michael Jackson. it doesnt make sense. And I am afraid you might never find the truth or the right person being charged. Who ever it will be, there will always be one side saying wrong person being convicted. So I think it is better to just let it go.

Lets enjoy the movie and think about all he gave and how much joy he has given the world!!

Riley has long-standing financial problems, including a 2002 Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a 2004 IRS lien for $1,000,000, the 2006 sale of his house to settle financial obligations including taxes, additional tax liens in 2007 and 2008, and garnishment of bank accounts and other assets. In 2009, Riley performed with Guy at the BET Awards

Another Leonard Rowe.

You're a good guy, if only you have been there that day, your friend Michael wouldn't have died. Would go and line up tomorrow to see the movie but it makes me sad. I don't know if someday I would just admit that MJ has gone; it's just painful and unbelievable. And what about the investigations? We are still waiting for the truth to come out AND IT MUST COME OUT even if it would not relieve my pain but...
Love you Michael and miss you so much/

Will we ever find out the truth Barbara?

Judie   October 27th, 2009 8:00 am ET

Good morning to everyone,

Susan good question, there are just so many therioes out there it's really unbeleivable.I just can't ever imangine that the LAPD and all the other agencies are on a death hoax plot.

Yoda, good to see you read your post's welcome back.

I will see the movie tomorrow night, a genius at work.

RIP~Michael~ We the Fans Miss You.

Wonder if I could really enjoy THIS IS IT movie being aware of MJ passing away 4 months and 2 days ago. My joy is filled with so much suffering.

Commenters: I've posted this before, in other comment threads, but it bears repeating:

– Attacking what another poster says: okay
– Personal attacks on other posters: NOT okay

Rip all you want on what others say. Ripping on the posters themselves is unwarranted and unnecessary.

On with the discussion.

Susan62509   October 27th, 2009 8:07 am ET

Hi Judie:

You are so correct.

MJ would never have someone give up their own life for him to play a hoax on the world.

caroline   October 27th, 2009 8:20 am ET

I have my tickets for friday night.I am so looking forward to seeing M.J
It will be exciting but also sad for me.

Dr. Gayle   October 27th, 2009 8:31 am ET

Thanks Mr. Brando. Michael was blessed to have friends like you and Dame Elizabeth, who was my childhood movie idol. I am still grieving and just hope to see y'all in heaven. Someone commented on how happy MJ looked on stage -that was truly his home and his element. Hopefully, one of his kids will do as he said, say yes to the business and "be better than me." I also have been an admirer of your father and believed him to be a man of intensity and fun, which his relationship with Michael bears witness. Sorry for all the tragedy in your life. God Bless!

missin MJ   October 27th, 2009 8:31 am ET

It's hard to comprehend all the different stories as to his death. It seems like some things have not been discussed for awhile especially on TMZ and some here, such as who may have been involved in Michaels death.

Everyones attention right now is on seeing Michael perform. Maybe that's what it should be right now. Time will come soon enough to focus again on the investigation. I sometimes wonder if the real truth will ever be known and all parties involved be prosecuted.

This is one time I so hope Michael receives justice since he was never given it before in his life.

Judie   October 27th, 2009 8:39 am ET

I think we the non-beleivers are the only ones getting attacked.
Most of the original people are just fed up with some of the posts on here.
Glad you and some of the others are here, just to keep it real.

Lora Ottawa Canada   October 27th, 2009 8:48 am ET

Yes, yesterday was bad there were a block of believers on the blog and attacking the non believers (cant believe I am using these terms lol).....and I dont blame you for telling them to go to HELL! I should have told them too, but I chose to laugh at them!

Thanks's difficult to keep on hashing the same thing over and over with no end result! Especially when the likes of "mj", "scarecrow" etc. disturb the blog on purpose. They cannot be adults doing this?

I like the people on the blogs they are great people from all around the world! Only MJ could make this happen.

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 8:58 am ET

There is a video on CNN's website under entertainment that shows MJ's photographer being interviewed while walking around the MJ Exhibition at the O2 in London and you can see his outfits in the background including the gold pants. It is so sad to see his costumes on display.

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 9:54 am ET

Well, she is not american or english,so yes,she speak english. But thats not the only thing, but how come somebody to tell me to go to jail, couse i believe MJ gat murdered? And how peaples come to claim, that are MJ?That is not even legal! And here some of the peaples believe for all of the fake mj-s.This is not, like thay stap on MJ name?

Thank you Maureen.

Whajonahle   October 27th, 2009 10:18 am ET

We do not live in a perfect world. People have freedom of speech, which means we will not like some things people say. (As long as no one is getting physically threatened, of course.) This blog is just a small scale of what the real world is like. Try to put things into perspective.

I hope your son gets better soon.

Diane in Minneapolis   October 27th, 2009 10:18 am ET

All of the foreign language people blogging here do an excellent job with their English and I admire them. If anyone wants to make fun of them – do it in their native language (Czech, Dutch, Spanish, Italian etc.) We live in a global community and this is a worldwide blog.

The only people who have a right to criticize English language usage are the British vs. the Americans and Aussies ! LOL

Right Maureen ?! 🙂

Sandy-Houston   October 27th, 2009 10:19 am ET

Stu, as Michael said many times when he was criticized just have to keep moving forward. Don't let them get you down.
Ignorance – another thing Michael said he would not tolerate.

Maureen (UK)   October 27th, 2009 10:25 am ET

Diane MN
Ha ha ! It's all been goin down today !! LOL 🙂

Mara   October 27th, 2009 10:28 am ET

(((MIKO – you're my HERO!)))

I'm glad I got to meet you at the Palms on August 29th, remember signed my MJ bday book when you pulled into Valet. Thank you!

I've watched all of your interviews on LKL since the first day and have become a fan of yours. Thank you for being the person that you are and for not speaking against Michael like some others. Thank you for keeping it positive and for truly loving your friend Michael Jackson!

Tonight 9PM is my turn! I love you MJ! Rest in peace baby!

Diane in Minneapolis   October 27th, 2009 10:28 am ET

And, how about Minnesooota English vs. yall's English in Texas, Sandy! LOL 🙂

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 10:29 am ET

Whajonale,i was criticized the peaples, who personaly attacked me,exactly, what the moderator said not to do...

Sandy,Michael olso said,go to hell. 🙂

Victoria J   October 27th, 2009 10:34 am ET

Please stay positive about this. We are all frustrated and are having increased anxiety with the release of the film and not knowing what is going on with the investigation. I have enjoyed reading many of your posts and have come to admire those of you who are very willing to come here and blog in English, all because of your love for Michael. That is a real tribute to Michael in itself. Have a good day...keep it positive and keep it nice.

kathy 40   October 27th, 2009 10:34 am ET

Thank you MIKO and thank you DAME LIZ. You were MJ's ONLY TRUE FRIENDS. We love you for having loved him. I'm seeing the film in Holland on november 4th. Can't stop crying since June 25th. Miko and Liz, please kiss the little ones for me when you see them. God Bless you!.

marin-indonesia   October 27th, 2009 10:43 am ET

@ stu: hi there.. don't listen to what people said to you. as long as you are not offend or hurt somebody personally, you have rights to stand firm for your own opinion. i don't believe in all the death hoax matters too, michael will never ever do that to his fans 🙂

Lora Ottawa Canada   October 27th, 2009 10:48 am ET

Hi Maureen and everyone

What is going down today?

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 10:48 am ET

Its alvais nice to come this time, early, thenn mostly i see realistic peaples.Maybe just shoul stop to come in the evenings.

Whajonahle   October 27th, 2009 10:49 am ET

I understand what you're saying. I think the moderator needs to define "attacked". What I think an attack is and what you think an attack is might be two totally different things.

attack definition

at·tack (ə tak′)

transitive verb

1. to use force against in order to harm; start a fight with; strike out at with physical or military force; assault
2. to speak or write against, esp. with vigor; criticize, denounce, censure, etc.
3. to begin working on energetically; undertake (a problem, task, etc.) vigorously
4. to begin acting upon harmfully or destructively the disease attacked him suddenly

Etymology: Fr attaquer < It attaccare < *estaccare < Goth *stakka, stake: see stick

intransitive verb
to make an assault

1. the act of attacking
2. any hostile offensive action, esp. with armed forces; onslaught
3. the onset of a disease, or the recurrence of a chronic disease
4. a beginning of any task, undertaking, etc.
5. act or manner of such beginning
6. Music promptness and precision in beginning a passage or phrase

If we can't do any of these things, then why have a debatable blog?

Lora Ottawa Canada   October 27th, 2009 10:50 am ET

I dont come in evenings either had enough during teh day!

RFergy   October 27th, 2009 10:52 am ET

Dianne, yes 😀 But the one,who critized my english is german.Othervice, she dont have any other thoughs, just asking the fake mj-s,are you the realy MJ?

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 11:00 am ET

Whajonale. This is much more simple, like this defenation. If somebody tell me,go to jail, couse i think Michael was murdered,i will tell them go to hell.

Whajonahle   October 27th, 2009 11:01 am ET

Ok... lol

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 11:02 am ET

Barbara: “Dr. Conrad Murray would not sign the certificate.”
LaToya: “He wouldn’t sign. No. “
Barbara: “Did you find that strange?”
LaToya: “Everyone did.”

There are people who entertain us, and there are entertainers – people born with a talent nothing short of pure gift. While everyone seems eager to argue his lifestyle, no one could ever argue that Michael Jackson was an entertainer. I intend to see This Is It and I don't feel the least bit inclined to justify or apologize for it. I enjoy the music and dance of Michael Jackson and always have. Entertainers should – and deserve to – be remembered for injecting the magical into our lives.

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 12:23 pm ET

Hi Eli.Dont realy metter.Everybidy attack everybody, and lately i gat attack from both side,so,i diside,if somebody attack me,i give back 100 times ugly way.

Mary u ... My father and I both believe that Michael is alive. My father has always been a logical thinker and normally would not believe in such ideas. He even thought I was "crazy" at first until I showed him some information that didn't add up.

AEG Execs To Discuss Jackson's 'This Is It' At Billboard Confab
October 26, 2009 – Touring

By Billboard staff

AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips and a group of top AEG executives will discuss how the Michael Jackson "This Is It" saga played out behind the scenes for the Keynote Q&A at the Billboard Touring Conference on Nov. 5.

Phillips, along with Paul Gongaware, co-CEO, AEG Live/Concerts West, John Meglen, co-CEO Concerts West, and Lee Zeidman, senior VP/GM of the Staples Center, will detail how AEG turned what some labeled the biggest disaster in live music history into a record-breaking tribute to the King Of Pop's legacy.

AEG Live had 50 sellouts lined up at London's O2 Arena at the time of Jackson's sudden death on June 25, putting a huge upfront investment in jeopardy and setting in motion the largest and most complicated refund effort in concert history. AEG then produced the July 7 Jackson memorial at L.A.'s Staples Center, and worked with the Jackson Estate and executors in negotiating a deal with Sony Pictures for rights to create the film "This Is It," which debuts tomorrow and is set to be the highest-grossing music film ever.

In a matter of weeks, AEG, working in conjunction with the Estate, also struck a global merchandising deal with Bravado, and produced an exhibition of Jackson memorabilia is set to open Oct. 27 at the O2, the day the movie premieres in London. The exhibition is expected to
then travel to New York and Los Angeles.

"Amid turmoil and a media frenzy, the team at AEG made quick and savvy decisions that not only will help them recoup their investment, but also honors Jackson's legacy and greatly benefits the Michael Jackson Estate," says Waddell, executive director, content and programming for touring and live entertainment at Billboard, who will moderate the session. "This session will shed light on how they came to these decisions through marathon meetings in the days following Jackson's tragic death, and will be a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the most compelling music business story of 2009."

La Toya signed the death certificate and she's not a doctor.

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 12:36 pm ET

Mary u,the liers are the media, and the fake MJ-s.Or you think, this fake MJ-s are realy?Every 5 of them?

carebear   October 27th, 2009 12:39 pm ET

Only a doctor can sign a death certificate.

carebear   October 27th, 2009 12:41 pm ET

When did La Toya graduate from medical school?

Barbara Walters says, “LaToya, you signed the death certificate”
LaToya: “Yes I did the doctor wouldn’t sign it.”
Barbara: “Dr. Conrad Murray would not sign the certificate.”
LaToya: “He wouldn’t sign. No. “
Barbara: “Did you find that strange?”
LaToya: “Everyone did.”

carebear: Apparently, none of the UCLA ER doctors would sign the death certificate either. Do, I find this fact strange, Yes, yes, I do.

mary u from ohio   October 27th, 2009 12:41 pm ET

One of them is the REAL MICHAEL....Can't you tell the Real Michael?

MaryRM   October 27th, 2009 12:44 pm ET

I sent the following email to the people at my work and also to my family , most of whom either don't know Michael or only know what the tabloids wrote:

Hi everyone – This is It releases tomorrow for a 2 week run.

I encourage everyone to see the film, it is a 'making-of' film. I have only seen the trailer but I can guarantee you that the only words out of Michael Jackson's mouth not related to music will be about brotherly love, healing the world, saving the environment and thanking God (he was deeply faithful). It will be your chance to see the last great flower child – It's all about L.O.V.E.

He said the reason he loved to be around kids is that they don't judge you by who you are or the way you look. Well, said. It always amazes me how people are ready to embrace anything negative said about someone without any corroboration but are skeptical about anything good said about them. Well, see for yourself.

You've got the people confused, you tell the stories you choose
You try to get me to lose the man I really am
You keep on stalking me, invading my privacy
Won't you just let me be
'Cause your cameras can't control the minds of those who know
That you'll even sell your soul just to get a story sold
Now there's a lesson to learn, stories are twisted and turned
Stop maliciously attacking my integrity

"Let me explain. I am sure Elizabeth knows NOTHING about the truth. She has been in the hospital and Ino one around her is in a position to know the truth. She loved Michael with all her heart, and would never say anything negative about Michael. and Miko? well...wasn't he the first one to run to Larry King and say Michael was in great shape ... (olvass tovább)and he no idea MJ had a drug problem? I think Miko was conditioned to always protect Michael's image that he doesn't understand the dynamics of the situation. Miko spent his time on TTI shows as Frank DiLeo's driver. He didn't spend any time with Michael during this time. Miko just said hello when Michael walked by."

Michael Jackson's movie tests business prospects

Commentary: 'This is It' marks first step for Michael Jackson Ltd.
The movie was filmed not long before Jackson died on June 25. If it turned out to be a blockbuster, this would be a clear indication that Jackson continued to have powerful commercial prospects - and his family and various managers could unleash a sort of Michael Jackson Ltd. on the public. Their efforts could feature every imaginable memento - for sale, of course. The endeavor might seem so crass that people would yearn for a simpler situation - like, say, Elvis Presley's Graceland!

Since Jackson died, the public has been obsessed by trying to understand how someone with so much talent and promise could die so tragically. Even though we hate to admit it, a celebrity's death can be a boon to business possibilities. Columbia Pictures, which acquired the footage of the show's rehearsals and made the concert documentary, is counting on the fans' fascination to continue.
Ultimately, "This Is It" will test Jackson's market strength with his public. It appears that the potential could be unlimited for Michael Jackson Limited.
Michael Jackson the human being died June 25th.
Michael Jackson Ltd the money making machine was born June 26th.
There are millions and millions of dollars to be generated by keeping his "brand" in the public eye. A death hoax can keep him alive for years. It creates a market and demand for all things MJ.

MaryRM   October 27th, 2009 12:51 pm ET

Anne – um, wouldn't the sale of a million concert tickets within hours be a clear indication that Jackson continued to have powerful commercial prospects? or are they only saying since he died, they think the public will forget right away? Well, John Lennon and Elvis are still very commercial. Well, anyone who can sell a million tickets in one city in a few hours after not performing for years certainly has a wide and dedicated fan base. I just don't understand some writers or what they are getting at.

mary u from ohio   October 27th, 2009 12:53 pm ET

I think they are talking about long term profit potential. Currently Elvis has the #1 spot.

Kim from MN   October 27th, 2009 1:01 pm ET

For those who can't understand why there are believers that he could still be alive: it's because we have no proof that he died. Are we to believe just because we have been told that is what happened?

How many different reports have we heard on what the autopsy report is? 3 that I am aware of.

There are at least 3 different death certificates floating around and not one of them is signed.

The ambulance pic is not Michael of 2009 – I think we can all agree on that one, so why is that? Why even bother putting out a pic?

Why hasn't the Jackson family come forward to debunk the hoax theory? You can't tell me that they aren't aware of it. And they know how much the fans are hurting. That would at the least be common courtesy on their part.

Why haven't you seen Blanket out and about with Paris and Prince? He goofed one day and asked if daddy was still on holiday. It's best if he stays away so no more slip ups. Out of the mouth of babes......

The video of the guy with the ambulance pic blundered in his interview and almost gave it away. The guys the day before? Oh helen, thank you so much for your discovery of the garbage cans!!

Could we be wrong? You bet we could be!! If it is proven that he really did pass away, of course I will ache – I ache now. But will I be ashamed that I chose life over death? NO!!!!!!! I like every one else wants and needs the truth – NO MATTER WHAT IT MAY BE!!!!!

For those who believe he did pass – give us proof, not just statements like he couldn't do this to his fans. Give us something so we can understand where you are coming from.

We all love the same person and we all miss him tremendously!!

We need to heal together, not be at odds.

Love you Michael!!

I would love to see the MJ Exhibition that is now in London. I wonder which US cities it will come to? I want to see the costumes he wore on stage for the tours. Just seeing all his personal things in photos really makes you realize the finality of all of this. I hope there will be a museum someday. I feel very sad and nervous today about the movie. We have been anticipating it for so long. It feels like he really will be gone forever after it is over. I know he is dead but I am not ready to let go of him yet.

Bobby-J.   October 27th, 2009 1:10 pm ET

BRAVO, MIKO & DAME ELIZABETH! Thank you both for coming forward and sharing your personal and emotional opinions on this film. I can hardly wait and have my tickets in hand and can't wait to see it in the best venue in L.A., the Cinerama Dome! I tell you it really bothered me when the article came out that there may have been a double used. Well, if so, I'm sure the greater majority would have been all Michael himself. In the past, when a star who's making a film dies, the producers have brought in before doubles or look-alikes to finish filming the remaining scenes that their star never got to finish. Look at Heath Ledger! Not only did they use a double, but they hired 3 more stars to replace Ledger! Sometimes they need to round out the film this way, so it will seem seamless. This is Hollywood studio magic at its best. This is what they do. Who in their right mind would pre-judge before seeing something or knowing all the facts?! An ignorant person would. Pre-judging didn't help America during slavery and the racial bias of the last century. It's just not right; plain and simple. But people always got to start something, like Michael used to sing. And that other ignoramus who stated that he saw Michael in March and that he didn't have it all together as far as the work on the film. Well, excuse me, but that was in March and he died just before the Tour was to start. What production, whether it be film, TV &/or stage, has its act together 3 or so months prior?! It's just ridiculous! Anyone who sees the clips of the very last few rehearsals know in their heart of hearts, Michael had it together and was performing just as good as he did 30 years ago. And another thing, if the L.A.P.D. were smart, since there's an investigation going on, they should use this film and look for clues and insight into whether MJ was abused or not; and subpoena the entire cast and crew to get the facts from that work angle. Yes, I know I'm going on, but let's be fair, to his memory, his family and to his world wide fans. Get real – get it together and get a life!

Lora Ottawa Canada   October 27th, 2009 1:13 pm ET

On Access Hollywood site they have a video of the wardrobe MJ would have worn during This Is It! Have u seen it? Awsome clothes!

To all the B's and NB's

Everyone has a right to blog their opinion on here. No one has the right to tell people to move on. What happened to democracy and freedom of speech people?? If you don't like what you read move on to the next subject.

Please try and keep the peace...SO WHAT if people's opinions differ, but to tell people to get lost, go to hell is very disrespectful and immature, as is all the mj's, scarecrows glogging up the blogs.

So please don't be bashing each other, we have enough hurt and suffering in this world, let's not take it to this level.

I am only here to find out the truth....hope you some of you are here for the same reason.

Have a good day everyone! 🙂

Stu,Hungary   October 27th, 2009 1:29 pm ET

I bought my tickets and I will be there waiting to be thrilled and singing right along with Michael and the audience (let's hope). I saw his genius creativity more than 20 years ago live and I know I will not be disappointed now. Michael wanted everything to be special for his fans and in even after his death he has done that. That's what made him for me so different and special. I will love Michael Jackson forever.

Lois   October 27th, 2009 1:45 pm ET

Stu – what I am saying is that we need to stop the arguing is not getting us anywhere. I don't know why anyone would want to call you a criminal, you have been on here faithfully since the beginning and have tried to sort through this whole fiasco. So whoever told you to go jail has no clue and you should know in your heart what you think is right, don't let anyone sway either way.

komjj14   October 27th, 2009 1:56 pm ET

Of all of the people who have come out of the woodwork following Michael's tragic passing, Mr. Brando is one of the few whom I will acknowledge as genuine and reflective of a true friendship. Death of a loved one can bring out either the best in us or the worst ... and Miko has proven himself to be a true and honest friend of Michael's throughout the course of his life. Thank you for your eloquence and sharing your memories/experiences of Michael with the world (and also validating 'This Is It' for the rest of us). I know it will be bittersweet for me but I can't wait to see it on 10/31!

Maria   October 27th, 2009 2:52 pm ET

@ Kim
Common courtesy on the part of the family to debunk the hoax theory?? How is that: "Hi, I'm Katherine Jackson. Folks, believe me, my son is dead. My grief is authentic, I didn't fake anything, nor Paris did. I saw my son's dead body, if you want I'll show you pictures too. Please, believe me!"

Wouldn't it be a hundred times more suspect? I can even see the believers reflecting: "Hmm, the plot is thickening, why she said that? How normal is for a mother to ask people to believe her son is dead? It is another clue that he is alive!"

Some people say he was abducted by Illuminati or killed by some electromagnetic weapons – is the family's duty to debunk this too?

For your questions about what the non-believers think – see the other blog (MJ fans say film covers up grim truth), Diane in Minneapolis' post at October 26th, 2009 11:31 am ET and my post at October 26th, 2009 12:29 pm ET.

Non-believers didn't see his dead body. Believers didn't see him alive. So neither camp has the kind of definitive proof that you ask for.

@ Stu: Jewel wanted to be ironic and to express her disbelief that Murray will be ever sent to jail, that's why she said that to you. She didn't meant you are a criminal who deserves to go to jail.

Personally I found much more offensive her arrogant reference about Hungary ("in your corner of the world"). But this doesn't mean you should tell her or anybody else to go to hell. There are other ways to react, if you feel offended. Beat it!

It seems to me the family is doing a good job of putting speculation out there for everyone to take sides. If they can't say anything straight up, then they really shouldn't be saying anything at all!

There are tactful explanations that can be said. All I am saying is that this is just one more thing to add to the inconsistencies. There is so much silence when it comes to getting answers, but plenty of jaw chewing on issues that don't matter.

And yes, neither side has any proof, that is why the division between fans. I was at least giving examples of why I beleive. Can you please give us some examples of why you don't believe? Please help me understand – I really do want to know!

It may be to soon to release this movie...I am thimking of michael's mother,Katherine mainly...ofcourse, there are those who would quickly disagree with me.......I can tell you it still pains me very deeply to see footage from his last rehearsals. How very vibrant he was....He was as charp at fiftey as he was in the beginning. All he stated that he wanted is to seen as an indivisual, and not as an Icon/Idol!!!..I've never had the priveledge of meeting Michael, but I am sure if I had ..I would have said," I love you" and would have treated him like a man!!!

ms.Lorraine C Thomas   October 27th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

I must say one more thing...reguarding he release of this movie "This Is It"...I do not know if I will be in attendance....I am still grieving and will most likely cry during the premiere. What a an extraordinary indivisual he was....He was a philanthropist for human rights and causes.....Maybe one day i could meet the his children& family...I would really like too have a great conversation with them!......soon......I am located in Starke, fl...If you get to "the Sunshine State", look me up!!! May the Lord bless you& may His face shine upon you& grant you peace......

To all of you who think/hope that Michael Jackson is alive: If it makes you feel better, fine. But I'm sure you realize deep inside that is not reality. The sad truth is that he is dead. How it could happen and how his health was before we might never know but he is surely dead.

You are loved, missed and respected.

The world was dealt a heavy blow on June 25th, 2009 and to this day we still grieve. We miss your smile and your laugh. We miss your heart that was so tender and true. We miss the little boy who flashed his grin for the world to fall in love with so many years ago and we miss the man that had a dream of bringing the world together.

Tonight part of that dream is coming alive. Your fans will unite across the globe reflecting on you, remembering you, falling in love with you all over again and seeing the true master at work. You are incredible Michael!!

Our hearts break at the thought that you are no longer here, but we will always have you in our hearts with your songs, your dance and your true heart that you displayed constantly.

We are so proud to be your fans!!!!!!!!!!!

We will love you forever more. Really.

thanks so much, Miko! I'm so glad Michael had true friends like you, Mac and Dame Liz.

Lisa S   October 27th, 2009 6:00 pm ET

I agree with Miko. Human Nature is also my favourite. Maybe because it was one of his very first solo songs. Back in the days when everything was infront of him and he had no idea on how life would turn out. So young, so hungry and innocent. And I like the sound and beat, so 80s.

I dont understand the odd movements he is making in the rehearsals though. On the trailer for the movie.

starangel40   October 27th, 2009 6:03 pm ET

well someon please listen to me and instead of making spectulations about the body double , why in the world dont you interview the dancer. Its simple, but no everyone rather just make to much out of it.

The dancer will be hated if he lied so he has no reason to as we all know MJ moves and hes not it.

Going on Saturday night, one gloved hand and a box of tissues in the other. I had mixed emotions on seeing it because I still cry at the loss of Michael, the world lost such an incredible caring talented human and won't be the same without him. Love & peace ...that was MJ's message. God Bless All!!

cassandra   October 27th, 2009 9:42 pm ET

I think for Miko Brando MJ's death is a wonderful thing financially. I have watched him every single time on LKL, and my friends and I could never help but wonder: if Miko and MJ were so very "close", how come MJ is dead? How come Miko "never knew" that his "best friend" had such a serious drug dependency? How come he didn't know about the Diprivan? How come he didn't know MJ's life was falling apart? How come he didn't know about the prescriptions under flase names, and about Dr. Johnson's very unkosher practices? Where was he when MJ died? I am sick of Miko prancing around LKL as some kind of MJ "expert", when in fact, he cared as much about MJ as did the other leeches that surrounded this lonely and tragic figure, who just wanted to be loved for real, and who wanted to make others happy-indeed, where WAS Miko through all of this, eh?

Brenda   October 27th, 2009 9:43 pm ET

Many people talk about Michael, but when I listen to you speak, it is clear that you are one person who really knew him. Your face and words clearly convey the love you have had for him, though I am sure it was not always easy. As I watch you speak of your friend, I can see the pain in your eyes; this certainly cannot be easy for you, and I know you do it out of love.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and feelings about Michael. As much as I adored MJ, I find that I now have the same feelings for you. You are a gentleman, and anyone would be honored to have such a loyal, devoted friend.

Viola   October 28th, 2009 3:19 am ET

Just got back from seeing This Is IT. It shows us a glimps of what a totally awsome show he would have put on. I loved every minute of it. I was happy and sad all at the same time. Seeing him in such top form and dealing with the fact that he is no longer here is an emotional roller coster. I'v watched and enjoyed all his performances on TV since he was a little boy. He was just such a great talent and gave me the music of my life.

Debbie   October 28th, 2009 4:03 am ET

Kim from MN said it best, "Your fans from across the globe will unite and fall in love with you all over again." I couldn't believe how heartbroken I was when I watched the shocking news about MJ's death on TV. I thought I was the only one so affected by Michael's early passing. When I read these comments, I realize that I am not alone in the way I continue to mourn. Michael Jackson and his music have been there , a constant, throughout my life. I play his music over and over and continue to cry. I watch his home movies on youtube and like him even more. What a special person, a shining light he was. I am going to TII tomorrow, but I'm nervous. Will I be able to hold myself together? I'm not a kid, but a 49 yr. old teacher. All I can think of is his song..Gone too soon. I love and miss you Michael. God Bless.

irene   October 28th, 2009 5:43 am ET

Nicolas   October 28th, 2009 11:03 am ET

I was lucky enough to see him twice in concert – first time june 20th in Gentofte Stadium Denmark, then at his birthdayconcert in Copenhagen Parken, were he was suprised and joyous when first a big birthdaycake rolled on stage followed by the Tivoliguard and then when there were fireworks in one corner of the stadium. He looked like he was having ablast on this day august 29th 1997.

His genius willbe missed, and as many have said – there will never be anyone like him again.

Saw this movie last night in Honolulu, and it was fantastic. A Michael most have never seen. So in his element on the stage. It appears that is where he was happiest. He was in pure form, involved in every aspect of the tour. A true professional. Yes, he was very thin, but full of energy and calm and happy. No sign at all he wanted to bow out of life. His singing and dancing was in great form. His tour would have been brilliant and unprecedented.

Debbie   October 29th, 2009 12:02 am ET

Saw TII today. It was so bittersweet to watch Michael sing, dance, perform, direct, laugh... and know that he is gone. The producers did a fantastic job of putting the film together. It showcases Michael's brilliance as an entertainer, but more than that, it truly shows the "real" Michael Jackson at work. He was hardworking, in charge, knew what he wanted, but always polite, humble, funny and loving. We would all much rather have Michael in concert for real, but since he is gone, we celebrate him by watching him at work. He outdid every earlier performance, and all at the age of 50! He looked amazingly fit. I still wonder why he had to take the drugs. He often spoke about celebrities and drugs and how sad it was. I think I will go back and watch TII one more time. It was, from start to finish, amazing.

spirit   October 29th, 2009 9:34 am ET

I'm always proud of you Michael... Thank you once again for your brilliant gift 🙂
We love you more & more & more... It would go on till eternity...

And I completely understand when Miko said that its hard for him to watch Michael... It is... in fact... Seeing him so young, so vibrant and so amazing in every respect & knowing that he isn't here with us any more is just heartrending...

Long Live the King
R.I.P Michael
Love ya forever...

Michael forever! Two things that hit me from the film – one is to always do your absolute best because what you think is a rehearsal might be the real thing. The other thing is that the Michael that the press & tabloids gave us was not the real Michael.

Just saw it..astounding. It literally too my breath I away. I miss him.

Loved it! Can't wait for the dvd. I have to say that seeing the movie/documentary gave me a whole new perspective of how Michael lived his music and how so very involved he was in the entire process, even while he was performing and he kept focus on dancers around him to guide them into the right movements for the best outcome. This will be his crowning glory and will make it right for his children to be even more proud of their dad. Michael will live on even bigger after this movie than he ever was before. I understand him now so much better and so will many others. Finally at peace!

(from Brazil)

I saw the movie. He was too thin. I saw fear and hesitation. He did not look like he could do 50 concerts. They should have stopped this whole production. He needed help and no one helped him. That is what I saw on the screen. I saw Kenny Ortega sitting with a plate of food. Where was MJ's? Oh yeah he said he was not hired as MJ's nurse. No Mr. Ortega you did not have to be MJ's nurse, you just had to open your eyes and help your friend. That is what decent people do! MJ deserved better!!!!!

Hi Speechless,
"He was too thin" ????!!!! Michael sempre foi magro! Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad e Dangerous Michael era tão magro quanto agora em This is it! History e Invencible foram exceções na vida de Michael, ele estava mais cheinho... 🙂 Magreza, como biotipo, não é sinônimo de doença ou debilidade.
"I saw fear and hesitation" Onde???? Você parou para pensar que o filme This is it mostra ENSAIOS?
Dá pra ver em This is it a admiração e o respeito que Ortega dedica ao Michael. Michael não era criança, não estava obrigado a nada, ele quis se apresentar, será tão difícil entender isso???
Eu vi This is it e adorei!!! Michael King Of Pop Forever!! He was ready!
Vendo o filme até esquecemos que ele tinha 50 anos!! (from Brazil)

I saw the film and I know what a great show it would have been. Outstanding. And that this was just a rehearsal – man, imagine when he would have performed and given 100%, Wow!

Some say he looked weak, but little do they know that he was as strong as ever. It's just when he rehearsed he wanted to make sure everyone else knew what they were doing. He cued a lot so that he would have his space to do even more magic. On the opening night he would have surprised even those on stage with him with dance they had never seen before.

His voice is amazing as always.

MJ was all about love – let's spread that love throughout the whole world.

TII rules! I love it, and I am going to see it the 3rd time on the weekend. Don't call me crazy, but this movie is addictive. I love when Michael sung BJ, just the way he moved on stage, so totally sexy. I also have the CD, I love the second one. Michael should have a demo songs CD coming out.

All I can say, scores tied – bottom of the 9th – 2 outs Kenny Ortega and company hit it out of the park. This film left me with a plethera of emotions. Yes, Michael appears thin but he has always been slight, he has a dancers body. His face is drawn, the man is 50 years old normal aging process. You age, lose elastcity, gravity wins His voice and dance was like stepping back in time more than a decade. He looked happy, enjoying and commanding the stage. You can so feel his presence it is hard to believe he's no longer here. I have no doubt he would have completed his 50 concerts, thing is... I don't think the world would have let him get away without touring other countries including the US. His genius, passion and incredible intuitive vision are eloquently revealed. This concert would have been phenominal, probably his best and for different reasons, What an incredible comeback he would have had. The world has lost one of it's greatest treasures. Michael may you have eternal peace and happiness.

I have watched it for the third time and still I can't get enough of it! I don't believe about using doubles at all in this movie as some fans say, This is a real Michael, I can see and watch his moves, his perfection, it was still the same as old days! He is a phenomenal, and I am grateful of thsi movie, it shows the real man behind the show, his mastermind, his integrity as artist, his perfection, his genius ideas, they are just INCREDIBLE! Despite what others say, This movie deserves a full credit! Thank you to Miko Brando and Elizabeth Taylor for their continuous love and support for MJ!

I enjoyed the movie very much!:> I wish I could see it in theaters again with the all the sound effects. I hope that Michael has made it to heaven where there is peace for him.

dawnmarie   November 10th, 2009 10:56 am ET

I just want to say that Miko Brando and Elizabeth Taylor are Michael's true friends I respect them both. i hope they are reading our comments on these blogs it would let them know they are people who are defending Michael. Just to say, I was going to watch Michael's Dangerous Tour on DVD and I can't watch it right now I am feeling sad today. I LOVE YOU MJ
