Janet Jackson's Tweets Farewell To Michael

Posted: 11:04 AM ET

D065556004.JPGLOS ANGELES, Calif. - Janet Jackson paid a tribute to her late brother Michael Jackson on her Twitter page earlier this week. “I love you, Mike, and I miss you,” Janet wrote. She signed the Tweet “Dunk,” Michael’s nickname for her.

Janet joined her family as her brother was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary in Glendale, Calif., on Thursday evening. The service was attended by a host of Jackson’s superstar friends, including Elizabeth Taylor.

Berry Gordy, Macaulay Culkin, Mila Kunis, Chris Tucker and Corey Feldman were among the nearly 200 who attended Jackson’s service. A rep for the family confirmed he was laid to rest at 9:43 PM. Michael Jackson died on June 25 at the age of 50. He is survived by his three children – Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II, aka Blanket.

I was very pleased to see that the family made this a very private and wonderful tribute to the brother, son and FATHER. There are many sad strings to the death of such a wonderful person, but the saddest is the fact that you have seen the children quickly "grow up". I think that as much as everyone wants them to do just as Michael wanted, and that was be children... with the passing of their father, it is human nature for them to grow up sooner than they should and you have seen this especially in Prince and Paris and they tend to, care for and comfort blanket through this time. I just pray they hold Michaels love and lessons close as they find a way to carry on in life.

Janet is a true meaning of a SISTER. I have the upmost respect for you Janet . Thank you for always having your brother's back and for staying humble.

I hate to bring this up now but I think we're due for another album. =)

I respect Janet too. She mourns in silence. G-d knows what is going through her mind.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Michael was truly blessed.

Beautiful ceremony last night. Michael would have loved it.

Helen Sanders   September 4th, 2009 12:36 pm ET

Janet, it takes time to heal. Right now your mom is fragile and trying to to hold the family together.Be there for your mom more, everyone have there breaking point and she need time to grieve.

Lori   September 4th, 2009 12:45 pm ET

I am praying for the Jackson Family and sending them positive energy. This has truly been a summer of mourning. There are no words to describe life without Michael. My heart breaks for his parents, siblings, children, nieces, nephews, his extended family, and cherished friends. May they find resolution and closure. As one of his legion of fans, I can only say a final thank you for all the joy Michael's music brought to my life. He was loved. He will be greatly missed. His legend will live forever. Blessings and peace. I love you, Michael.

Anthony   September 4th, 2009 12:54 pm ET

He's really dead. The look on Katherine and Joe's face says it all.

Anne   September 4th, 2009 12:57 pm ET

It feels more final but not any less sad. He really is gone forever. It feels like the his life went by so fast.

I still want to go back and fight the injustice Michael faced in his life. I think Tom Mesereau is the only person that keeps me from being in total despair over the cruelty Michael faced during his lifetime. Every time I hear him speak about Michael, I feel better.

I hope Janet does write a book about MIchael. It is his only chance to have the truth about his life in print for eternity.

lucille   September 4th, 2009 1:02 pm ET

we all loved hm..and I am 80 yrs! difficult for Mrs. Jackson,,she remembers when he was conceived, when she carried hm in her womb, when he was born, she remembers everything @ his life..& he was the youngest..god bless. ..

Maureen (UK)   September 4th, 2009 1:20 pm ET

I feel exactly the same. I would like to see all the lies & deceipt erased.

Lori & all
I hope Katherine & Joe Jackson & all the family get the chance to read your thoughts & prayers for them. It would be a little boost for them after all they've been through. We should put them all together in a little book.

Brigida, Italy   September 4th, 2009 1:31 pm ET

Hi Maureen

I feel lucky to have lived the same time as Michael Jackson and got to experience his magic, even if it was so brief. I am thankful we shared the earth together. I will never forget what you brought to this world in your short time here.
The brightest light burns out the quickest. Your light shined so bright.
RIP. Your are gone but never forgotten-

God bless the Jackson family. I love you, Michael.

Marmoura   September 4th, 2009 2:06 pm ET

My heart is broken. May God be with you, Katherine, Prince, Paris and Blanket. The road ahead will be so difficult.

MaryRM   September 4th, 2009 2:19 pm ET

Today I'm at the same place emotionally that I was when John Lennon died almost 30 years ago. Today I cannot bear to see Michael's picture or hear his voice. I cannot bear the waste and injustice. After 2 months of playing and watching everything all over again, today I keep playing everyone else's music to get Michael's out of my head but it doesn't really work.

Instead of feeling sorry for our loss I will come back by focusing on my charity work for the betterment of children (Free the Children) and the environment. I have to surround myself with people of action, people who help make the world a better place, because I cannot bear a world without them.

My Heart Will Go On lyrics
Songwriters: Horner, James; Jennings, Will;
Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you
That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance
And spaces between us
You have come to show you go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

Love can touch us one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till we're gone

Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life we'll always go on

Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And you're here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

You're here, there's nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
We'll stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

I wish I had to time cross post this on every Michael Jackson Blog on LKL.

September 3rd was a fitting tribute and dignified ceremony honoring one of the most beloved entertainers of all time. The guest list and the attendance spoke of well deserved respect and affection bestowed both on the deceased and for the family. And once again the children made a poignent statement through their love and final gestures.

Not one circumstance, lie, truth or rumor will ever change the finality of last evening. Many virtual friendships and connections seemed to have been made by all the cross-posters who attended these Blogs, as well as creating other opportunities to visit off-line websites.

As a mark of honor and in good taste, Larry King Live & CNN Webmasters, why not close down the Blogs that continue to enflame speculation for no good reason any longer.

To ttruly allow the family, friends and fans some lasting peace and consideration.

Katinka from germany   September 4th, 2009 4:02 pm ET

TY Anne for sharing the video with Tom Mesereau...
I feel the same way about him as you do,it comforts me to hear him talk about Michael

My heart goes out to the Jackson family,I will always love and support you

MICHAEL,I´ve loved you since I was in 7th grade...and I will keep on loving you till the day I die
your passing hit me harder than anyone can ever imagine,I feel like I´ve lost my soulmate
never ever in all those years did it occure to me that you could leave us so soon...
you took a huge piece of me with you when you passed away
and left a tired and worn out shell

I hope you finally found the peace you deserve so much

Zee   September 4th, 2009 4:24 pm ET

This is extremely emotional....the death of no celebrity has made me cried my heart out except Michael Jackson' heart goes out to the family, especially his mother, siblings and his children....May he REST IN PEACE!!

Zee   September 4th, 2009 4:27 pm ET

I have the utmost respect for Janet as well, she was the one sibling who always had Michael's back. She was there for him through thick and thin...God bless her!

Mariam   September 4th, 2009 4:27 pm ET

I've been his fan for more than 30 years. I listened to his music in Europe, the middle east, the united states etc. I know we have lost a great entertainer and well never overcome this. When he was making his come back tour. I heard it on the radio and told my older son isnt that cool Michael Jackson is performing again. I would love to go but I can't. Days later I heard the sad news. I hope that you will make sure Michael gets his justice. I don't believe he comitted suicide. Michael seemed like he loved life and you could feel it through his music. Its your duty Janet and family members to make sure justice prevails and finally things turn around for him. He has suffered greatly just because of the media and now the truth must surface. May his soul rest in peace. Today was one of the sadest days of my life.

Zee   September 4th, 2009 4:30 pm ET

Well said Mariam...I agree with you 100 %

Tess   September 4th, 2009 4:40 pm ET

We are all sad about Michael. Let's all be strong and keep him alive OK? Just like everyone I played/recorded the funeral last night till I fell asleep around 2AM and still not enough. I do miss him too.

Samantha S Africa, where can I get a copy of Michael's video. Do I get them from U-tube?
I'd like to play them over and over to remember Michael. Can you see how happy Michael was? Thanks. What's the authorities doing about the homicide case? Will there be an arrest pretty soon. Quack might skip the country, hope not too long please. Thanks and Peace to all.

Lisa S   September 4th, 2009 4:42 pm ET

It struck me today....

.....that Michael wont be here to experience new times, new trend and new days...

....we will have to do that on our own.

On our own, we will have to find new ways of dressing, dancing, singing and expressing our selves.

On our own will we have to take over and continue his work with making the world a better place.

For me, that will mean, spending less time in here talking about him and more time out in society enjoying all the wonderful people that wander on this earth, trying to create happy moments and memories for the children and adults around me, make an extra effort to smile and especially those moment when a smile is far away.

He was around for many years and he has shown us the way. Now it is our turn to continue. But we have to do it on our own.

Michael is somewhere else now

Mariam   September 4th, 2009 4:52 pm ET

I used to be a great Elvis fan but was shocked about his death now this is happening again with Michael Jackson. I wonder how Lisa Marie Presley feels. Loss of her father king of rock and now her ex husband king of pop. Good luck Lisa and hope you get the strength to carry their fame in a positive way

You're so right – listening to Tom Meserau instills a sense of confidence, hope and justice. Thank the Lord that he was on Michael's side and that he still continues to defend MJ.

katherine jackson had a difficult time last . when entering the mausoleum she had to turn around. i hope they watch her carefully, she could have a break down of some kind.. god bless you katherine, and take comfort michael is close to your home and you can go be with him whenever you want. it is in no way the same.. from what i understand, in her faith they consider their departed to "be sleeping" that a lovely way to look at it.. the cemetery is absoluely beautiful.. good choice mrs. jackson !!!!

Janet, I feel your pain. I will never forget your brother. He means a lot to me. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I love you all.

Kathy Brady   September 4th, 2009 6:47 pm ET

"Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see god." How "TRUE", but with one caveat: "Skull and Bones", who call themselves "god". Michael saw them alright, long before myself, going back to his "billy gean" music video, best I can tell, if not prior. His music videos since then were filled with the symbolism used by "Skull and Bones": a secret society known as the U.S.'s shadow government: a conspiracy: TREASON! Michael has been trying to expose them to the mases for a long time and one of the reasons he and his music and videos have resonated with so many the world over; aware or unaware, and also the reason his character and livelihood was attacked so relentlessly by "Skull and Bones". "Remember the Times", a statement in his egyptian video, harkening back to ancient egypt where "Skull and Bones" originated as the "Lights and/or Lamps of Darkness", and stole their knowledge of electromagnetic energy/technology: how the pyramids were built and lighted and worked their way through Afghanistan to Europe to the U.S. and now working through the world at large, and is the cause of 'global warming', the melting of the polar caps/icebergs, and controlling weather worldwide as a war incognito to own and control all - "Remember the Times" just as they devastated ancient Egypt, an ancient society and knowledge wiped out, so too is it our "TIME". Michael, like myself, was able to pick up on the "Skull and Bones" evil/crimes through their mind control with the same electromagnetic weaponry, everyone on the planet is being mind controlled, unbeknowst to them, look at the left eye, the white of the eye is whiter in everyone. Michael, again like myself, was able to glean this information and figure out what it meant, and once realized, again like myself, was doing everything he could to expose it to the world, but "Skull and Bones" does everything it can to prevent those that "SEE" from exposing the "TRUTH" about them. The assault on myself is not unlike the assault on Michael for trying to expose them; although wholly different in Michael being a public figure, the destruction of a livelihood, isolation from family and friends, and physical assaults incognito, among others, are very simular. Michael's comparison of himself to Jesus was not done in ego, it was done in comparison to what Jesus was trying to tell the people of his time, the "TRUTH" about what was being done to them by "Skull and Bones", to make them aware so they wouldn't be blind to their crimes against them, to wake them from their sleep to "STOP" them, but to no avail, and here we are again. Are we compelled to stage our own deaths in order to rise from the grips of "Skull and Bones", apparently so, what choice does justice leave us with, the bidders of "Skull and Bones", but to live in exile from ourselves. No, I do not accept this injustice and give the U.S. government until 9/11 to rectify it, or else!!!!!!!!

Tessa   September 4th, 2009 6:49 pm ET

When I read about Katherine Jackson crying throughout the funeral service, having a difficult time entering the mausoleum when it was time to entombed Michael, and having to turn back, my heart really went out to this poor woman. You can feel the deep pain, deep agonizing grief, and the devastation of she was going through! She unfortunately has taken the death of her baby soon very very hard.
I pray that her sons, daughters, grandchildren , and Joe would rally around her and give her the strength and support to go on with life. I have tremendous admiration and respect for Mrs. Katherine Jackson who have raised very talented children in showbiz.

sherry   September 4th, 2009 7:31 pm ET

Janet, has been so classy about all this. My prayers are with youand your family.

I thought about sending flowers to Mrs.K.Jacksons home but I dont know if they woulddeliver them?

sherry   September 4th, 2009 7:47 pm ET

wow,where is everyone?

Karen Kathleen   September 4th, 2009 8:05 pm ET

Michael Jackson was a tremendous performer who unfortunately had zero privacy by the people who made him a star. I can not fathom how an ordinary day or happening that we take for granted must have been for this man.The daily stress must have been monumental.

My heart and prayers go out to his loving family and friends. Their loss can not be measured in words.

I believe because of his unique life circumstance he was at the disadvantage when it came to common sense and operating in the real world. And this disadvantage may have caused his premature demise and also undue stress regarding unusual issues he faced or created.

Who is responsible for that? That is a very real question.

It is about Balance, it is ok to appreciate a gift or talent, but it is not ok to warp that acknowledgement to the detriment of the performer, public entity, ect.
The public elevates individual's to knock down or hold that performer a prisoner. That is an incorrect action.

Appreciate yes, but allow that fellow human a dignified exsistance and life.

Mariam   September 4th, 2009 8:06 pm ET

I hope one of the brothers like Jermaine can help write a true biography about the king of pop. One that is not tainted. Let the whole world know who he really was.

Maria   September 4th, 2009 8:31 pm ET

Kathy Brady, I understand you're devastated by this loss, but it won't be easier if you continue to be in denial. Neither the government, nor the aliens wanted to kill MJ. Believing in conspirations is a waste of time and always leads to terrible disappointments.

Janet,Please know though to us you considered Michael only as an icon he was truly more than that to the ones of us who grew up with him&your family.I have followed the Jackson family since the world became to know you and have loved you all more and more as the years have gone by.We may not have the same bloodline but we are all created by the same God and we can all unite as family in our hearts. To you and your family I send prayers and Love. Please remember your brother is in the arms of Jesus and that the Father is protecting him now. Noone can hurt him anymore.May God comfort you and your family and as only he can heal your broken hearts.Love to you all especially Michaels children and your dear mother.

Katie   September 4th, 2009 10:03 pm ET

He did so much for us. His work is done. It’s time for us to do the work now: clear his name and protect his legacy.
Cnn (Larry King) and the Media please do a show on Michael Jackson for all the good things he has done for people in the World, such as the burnt boy Dave Dave, and the lung transplant he paid for – for a sick kid, instead of the negative things about him.
Please clear his name and protect his legacy, the Media owe this to Michael.
Rest in peace MJ, we love you!!

carol kesling   September 4th, 2009 10:47 pm ET

janet, my heart goes out to you and your family... may you all find some peace now that michael is laid to rest.... now maybe you will have some privacy to mourn your loving brother !!!! i love michael and will miss him alot... god bless.....

Kathy Brady   September 4th, 2009 11:10 pm ET

No, Maria, I know you're not the Maria that posted above. The Maria that posted on 9/4/09 @ 9:36pm is a "Skull and Bones" operative, playing your standard modis operandi of character assassination whenever anyone divulges the "TRUTH" about you - by the way it's spelled conspiracies, and for your information the fact that "Skull and Bones" is a "secret society", by definition, constitutes a conspiracy to treason, punishable by death!

Maria   September 4th, 2009 11:45 pm ET

Well, if you say you're so able to figure out which ones are conspirators and which ones are not, then you should have realized that saying such things about me is ridiculous, to say the least. Sorry for interrupting your thoughts.

Christine   September 4th, 2009 11:55 pm ET

Janet ,

I to know what it is like to lose a Brother from close to the same thing so I may know what you are feeling as a sister, Also I do know what it is like to lose a child of 23 years old form murder as I lost my Daughter in the Sept 11th attacks. I can say to you that as a sister who was very close to her Brother it hurts so deep. Now as a mother I know what your mom is going through. When I los tmy Daughter , she was all I thought about and I now see that my other 4 children felt that I only cared about her but at that point she was the child that needed me.I did not love her more or less than the others but my heart was broke. give your Mom time she will need alot of time to heal , not that it will go away as even today 8 years I am hurt and will never be the same. all I can say to you is give her love and time. I am so very sorry about Michael he was great and still will always live in your heart and remember all the good things because that my dear is all that matters no matter what ANYONE says.

loly lesa   September 5th, 2009 12:02 am ET

To Joe, Katherine, Mj's children and the rest of the jacksons. I will be honest with you, what a beautiful family you are. It's such a sad and sickening feeling of MJ's death but we all know God has his own plans and not ours. For your own information good people never live long. I'm finding it difficult even to find words of comfort.
But I know time heals. All the Boys(Jacksons) please take care of your mum Katherine and dad Joe cos they need you around especially MJ's children who are still young to understand the mistery around their dad's death. Please make sure they dont see much or any diffirence in the care and the love their dad gave them. It's so hard and difficult to comprehend. The beautiful thing is MJ is at peace now and he is making infact more sensational songs in heaven with the lord.
Mum Katherine and Dad Joe be strong and carry on for MJ's children.
Jermain and Janet I trust you please you are the strongest in the family and you were always there for MJ please please look after Mum,Dad and MJ's children and I love those kids especially blanket. I love you all and you are not on your own during this time

Janet! We all miss your brother sooooooooooooooooooooo much... Words can't express the pain that we feel... We LOVE him and will continue to LOVE him... Not a day passes by that I don't think of Michael... He means so much to me... In fact he means so much to all of us...
When I read that it was terribly difficult for Katherine to enter the mausoleum and also that Paris kept crying throughout, my heart sinks and I feel terribly sad myself... It must hav been difficult for Joe, Katherine, & Michael's kids... We his fans kept crying during the service...
Michael lives in our hearts & he'll live on forever... My thoughts are with him and his family in this trying time...

the true affection of a sister towards her brother...

my deepest condolences to the jackson family and his fans.

Jessica   September 5th, 2009 12:36 am ET

@MaryRM: Although we all miss him dearly, Michael would wants us to move on and do good things in the world. I think it was the epic/sony interview where Cory Rooney says he had to work after Michael's death, because he knew that was what Mike would do. I continue listening and being inspired by his amazing music everyday. I feel that through his death I have become a better person, each day I want to act and treat people as Michael would have, have more love in my heart for others and I really do want to make more changes in the world. Since his death I have sponsored a child through World Vision and intend to do more to honor Michael's death. Imagine if everyone who was inspired by him, continued his legacy of humanitarianism, by "Making That Change" to better our World.

Mr. King- Please consider finding and interviewing Jordan Chandler, the boy (who is now a grown man) who was manipulated by his Machiavellian father into accusing Michael Jackson of molestation. He has since removed both of his parents from his life and he is obviously facing the fact that his one time friend Michael Jackson has died, the man whose life was destroyed by his father's lies and who used him as an unwitting pawn in this travesty. It would be a fascinating interview and one that would finally vindicate Michael Jackson if you could bring this young man out of the shadows and into the light to reveal how he was victimized along with his friend Michael Jackson. This topic is hot right now and this would be an incredible interview. I believe he lives in New York or Long Island. He used to live with his father Evan Chandler (Evan Coffey? perhaps another name) but they had a huge falling out and Jordan sued his father for assault ( I believe just a couple of years ago)! Please consider this interview. It would be very compelling and also would serve to vindicate Michael Jackson at last. Do this not just for the ratings, but for his children as well.

No disrespect intended, but I don't think it was appropriate to post Ms. Katherine's home address on this blog.

JOJO   September 5th, 2009 1:40 am ET

Dear Mrs Katherine Jackson and Janet -I believe MJ loved both of you the most and have the highest regard for you two. I have only just got to know MJ (after his death ) thru his music, lyrics and videos .He was truly a gifted and brilliant man and possess a caring loving heart and overall a wonderful human being. I am so very proud of him as I am sure both you and Janet must be as well . Thank you for sharing your son and your brother with the rest of the world. MJ will live forever thru his music , he will never ever be forgotten in generations to come . The most importatnt thing now is to ensure that the 3 children he left behind is well brought up in the way MJ wanted and that they know how much their daddy loved them and that all the despicable accusations are lies and that their daddy is truly a gift from the God Almighty. I pray that time will heal your sorrows as it will heal all those who loved MJ.MJ you have all my love and there is not a day that goes by that I did not say I Love You .RIP and don't worry about your kids . I am sure they will be well looked after by your mum and your siblings.
I agree that CNN should hunt that Jordie kid down and do a piece on him to clear MJ's name once and for all .I don't know how anyone could live with themself for all the lies that they perpetrated and cause so much grieve and pain to an innocent man all in the name of greed.

Very heartbroken to know this about Katherine at Michael's funeral. My heart goes out to all the Jackson family and Michael's children, also his close friends. Our King of Pop is finally at rest. I will miss him very much, but his legacy will live on forever. God keep this family safe and strong. Michael had a lot of living ahead of him, WHAT A WASTE OF A MAN. to go at such a young age. Rest in Peace Michael. Our king of Pop has GONE TO SOON. Love You Michael. We will see that justice is done and the vulture's are locked away. You Are With God Now, Love You Always, Will Never Forget You.

Thank you for the video Linda – yes Michael is simply the best.

Miami Mama   September 5th, 2009 2:00 am ET

RIP MICHAEL! Not only did you influence my life, but also the life of my nearly 30 y/o daughter crossed multiple generations and for this I am thankful.

Media needs to leave the Jackson's alone right now.

As for Skull and Bones, that poster is not far off..... – that organization began as the Bavarian Illuminati in 1725 and died out there, but we picked it up here in 1932 (Prescott Bush – Grandpa Bush)......this has all turned now into the NWO (New World Order and the New American 21st Century). The CFR is also involved (Council for Foreign Relations). Their intent is to do away with 80% of the world, all the poverty, and have only 20% elite left and it would be like starting over. SICK, sick, sick..... if you ask me.

All of it is googleable – and then google FEMA interment camps in the USA – anyone who dissents regarding the NWO is heading there, 600-800 camps all manned by the Marines, all airconditioned, and zero inmates at this time.

I'm getting on in years so I hope I'm dead before it ALL comes down. Best of luck to all of us in the USA and the World. Michael, for sure, is in a far better place.

Miami Mama   September 5th, 2009 2:01 am ET

oh, and it all leads back to the Bilderberg Group (also googleable)

I dont think it matters so much. Most fans already have it and those who are not fans will probably not take the time and energy to read through all these blogs.

I think a lot of people feel they want to send the Enico their thoughts and condolosences.

What did you mean with through the imformation in the can for diprivan?

Kim from MN   September 5th, 2009 2:34 am ET

To the Jackson Family:

Thank you for sharing Michael with us for so many wonderful years. He brought great joy to thousands of children, made us laugh, made us smile and made us love him for the real true beautiful person he was, is and always will be.

His talents were tremendous but he never took them for granted. He was poised, confident ( on the shy side though!) and gave of himself unselfleshly time and time again. He is a role model that any parent should be proud that their child would look up to and a role model for the rest of the world to take notice and follow in his footsteps.

Be strong. I know this is a difficult time for the family, but you are not alone. Michael is watching over you and he will be there to wrap his arms around you and to tell you to smile. Take comfort somewhat in knowing that he will never be forgotten. the world will not let that happen. His legacy will continue to grow because his message of love will continue.

To Prince, Paris and Blanket:

He loved you with every part of his being. You were his world, you made him smile. Remember his heart, his laugh and the love he had for you. He cherished each of you with no boundaries. You still have a great daddy!!

God Bless the entire Jackson Family and may your grief subside and may that grief turn to wonderful memories of a son, brother, father, uncle.

God Bless Michael who will never be far away for he will always be in our hearts. I miss you so much – we all do. But we know that you are still singing and dancing and lighting up the Heavens with that beautiful, gorgeous smile! Peace Michael.

One more thing: If Mrs. Jackson wanted everyone to mail items to her, a publicist would have provided a post office box address. It is invasive to mail anything to her at her home address.

They are trying to heal. Receiving items in the mail day after day reminding them of their loss will *not* help the grieving process. It will become an impediment, akin to removing a scab from a wound - over and over and over again.

Do what La Toya suggested: Make donations to Michael's favorite charities. That would be more appropriate.

Lisa S   September 5th, 2009 3:24 am ET

Dont worry. Fanmail wont be delivered to their house anyway. It will be taken care of and looked through before handed over to the family. The Enico is a huge place and there are lots of people living there and I would guess that a big amount of the mail goes to the children.

If you want the larry king group to remove something you will need to contact them via email or phone. You cannot send them messages via the blog.

Nicole S. -- North Carolina   September 5th, 2009 3:28 am ET

Lisa S - Messages are removed all the time. And yes, they do read it.

Good night to you. I'm done debating the issue. I projected my opinion, like everyone else does.

P.S. "About this blog: CNN’s longest-running interview program now has its own blog! It’s your chance to be a part of Larry King Live! We want to hear from you during our show. What do you think about what’s being said right now? You can chat, ask questions, interact with guests, producers, even Larry! And who knows, your thoughts might even end up in the broadcast!"

The Enico

Maggie   September 5th, 2009 3:30 am ET

Why his beloved brothers, sisters and parents can not even pay for his burial? They say they cared for him. Taking care of your loved ones is something beyond speaking good things about them. Where was this family when he doctors prescribed him drugs? Nobody takes presciption drugs unless doctors prescibe them & unless doctors tell you that you have to take it. Where was family when he was not well? Why Lisa marie and elizabeth taylor had to come and help him when he had so many family members? Its all about money!!!

I love you Michael !!! Rest in Peace !!!! LOVE YOU BABY !!!!

Nancy Endari   September 5th, 2009 3:32 am ET

They were very closed together and I can't imagine the pain. I never even met Michael, but I cried and still mourning his death. To Janet, Michael is a brother and siblings, and to lose someone she loves so much must be unbearable.
God bless them all. Bless Michael's soul too. Rest in peace, Michael.

The media wrote wrong stories & humiliated him just to sell their magazines & channels & Paparazzi . Its all about money !!!

Why Lisa marie and elizabeth taylor had to come and help him when he had so many family members? Its all about money!!!

The legal cases against him were again for money.

When useless people like these who cannot earn money in a respectful manner because of the plain fact that they have got no skill, expertise & talent….so they try to cash on someone else’s money!!!

Look at the tabloids, media, so called TV interviewers, Paparazzi & it reminds me of Michael’s song Money……Lie it, spy, kill, die for money….They’ll sell their soul to devils for money…

I love you Michael !!! Rest in Peace !!!! LOVE YOU BABY !!!!

I think it is extremely important to protect the Jackson family during this time. They will let us know if and when they need something from us. Right now, I am sure that they need our prayers and our love. There are probably better ways to show support and other ways to contact them than at their home address.

New York Post:
September 3, 2009 -

SO far, Janet Jackson seems to be the only member of her family keeping quiet about her brother's death - but her silence won't last long. Magazine insiders tell us Harper's Bazaar has landed the first interview with the star since Michael Jackson's death. "She is giving them the world exclusive and is going to be on the cover," said our snitch.

Nicole S. -- North Carolina   September 5th, 2009 5:49 am ET

I must say that I was shocked that the footage was broadcast live. It just seemed like a really intimate setting.

But it seems like someone (somewhere) would have been watching TV, and informed the family that this was taking place? I mean, KTLA's bird was in the air for hours - long before nightfall and the family's arrival. CNN even reported that the no-fly zone restriction was lifted, as along as the choppers remained hundreds of feet above the mausoleum. Was this an incorrect assumption?

I am not condoning what took place. But someone could have killed the footage much sooner. Why didn't they?

Randy Jackson: Don't Air Footage of MJ's Funeral
Posted Sep 4th 2009 9:27PM by TMZ Staff

Randy Jackson is furious footage of Michael's funeral at Forest Lawn is being broadcast all over the world, saying it was a private event and not meant for the public to see.

Jackson just released a scathing statement condemning those who violated the no-fly zone over Forest Lawn last night - asking all media organizations to refrain from airing any more footage of the event.

Here's Randy's full statement:

"As a family, we are all aware of how Michael's life, and his death, touched so many around the world. It is why we held a public memorial in my brother's honor.

And it is the reason we chose to release a small amount of footage leading up to yesterday's ceremony at Forest Lawn.

I was dismayed last night and again today at the coverage I saw on television of our ceremony for Michael. We had asked the media to respect the privacy and the sanctity of this event; to give us one moment of privacy to mourn as a family out of the public spotlight.

Unfortunately, despite a no-fly zone around Forest Lawn, many media organizations decided to ignore our wishes. They employed helicopters that not only surreptitiously recorded our private family ceremony, but also severely disrupted it.

I therefore ask today that media organizations airing helicopter footage of the ceremony we held for my brother immediately pull that footage from their air and refrain from airing it in the future."

*** END ***

I MISS Michael Dearly and am deeply sadden that I was not able to personally say good bye. All his family fans around the world are yarning to be able to have closure, which unfortunately doesn't seem possible.

Michael Jackson is considered FAMILY, by all the fans. He is not an "Icon" to them but rather they love Michael unconditionally, just as family should. They will travel the world to be with him, they will stand by him, they will support him and will now continue to support Michael's children so they are ok....they will love him forever.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Jackson family and the extended world family fans for their tremendous loss.

I feel sorry for all those people who were NOT at peace with Michael when he passed ie Debbie and disrespecting him on every interview she did while promoting her album and the other by helping the prosecution send her ex husband to jail! Now they both cry in regret blah blah but the truth is had they not been such b*tches to Michael maybe things would have worked out differently between them...well TOO LATE NOW HE'S GONE!
... and Debbie who cares if you were heartbroken when the Jacksons didn't allow you to visit MJ...can you blame them?...they must still remember the day you walked in that court room to testify against MJ so he could go to jail!! Cry all you want Karma has finally catched up to it has for Lisa Marie....It still sickens me to see that interview she did with Diane Sawyer where she speaks of Michael almost in disgust! Karma came for you too LMP ...I read your blog :S

As for Janet my highest respect goes to you....I know you truly loved and admired Michael....we know you are suffering and in pain because we are experiencing the same feelings...TO ME Michael was also was family and I think and pray for him everyday....I miss him 🙁

Eli, Jerusalem/Israel   September 5th, 2009 7:16 am ET

Stu, do you think Lisa S is the Informer?

MaryRM   September 5th, 2009 7:31 am ET

@Karen Kathleen
I agree. One thing that always bothered me was that Michael could not go out in public without serious disruption. He always said he wished he could go out in public. This was something I wish we would have given him. After all, truly caring about someone means, their happiness, not ours, is priority.

I have always told my daughters that they can approach 'celebrities' if they are at a gig or signing because at that time, they are on the job. However, if they see them at the airport or in a store, leave them alone, they have a right to be able to walk on the street, to enjoy what we take for granted. Easy to say, we want so much to meet them, especially someone as charismatic as MJ, but hard to do. I have seen celebrities at the airport, etc. I did refrain from approaching JFK Jr. once when I saw him, although I felt like I might pass out at the time 🙂

But for all they give to us, this is a gift WE can give to the them. This is a gift we can give to people we admire and care about, people who have inspired us, been our role model, people who have the burden of being famous.

You can always contact them through other channels like fan clubs or sites to let them know that you saw them and left them alone because you wanted to give them the gift of freedom and privacy. Imagine how much they would appreciate that.

Imagine how happy the Jacksons would feel knowing that we care enough to give them privacy, especially now.

Eli, Jerusalem/Israel   September 5th, 2009 7:31 am ET

Dear Jackson family,
I would like to share my deepest sympathy for your lost. May GOD give you all the strength to carry on through this difficult time. Keep in mind that your son Michael was one of the few good examples on this planet. His beautiful music and his caring for everything and anybody in the world makes me humble. Mrs and Mr Jackson, GOD gave you a very special child and he did good deeds in this world. He meant a lot to me. Especially when my healthproblems keep returning, his music helps me through. He meant a lot to me and the whole world. He is now seated at the righthandside of GOD and has peace now.

Jackson family, I wish you all the best and may GOD bless and lighten you in this difficult time.

Michael, you will always be in my hart. I will always love you.
Rest in Peace Michael

Sheletta   September 5th, 2009 8:30 am ET

Janet your brother will be missed very much. I pray that his spirit is at peace with Our Lord Savior, and that your family in time will be at peace, Michael was a great artist, and dancer among other great gifts in live that he gave, and now he has been rewarded most by sitting at the right side of the throne with out Savior. I pray for your family.

Sheletta   September 5th, 2009 8:33 am ET

Nicole: I agree with you, why would someone post Mrs. Jackson address on here? It should be removed NOW. That is not cool at all.

She deserves her privacy, especially Now, she just laid her son down to rest and no one should be giving out her address like that.

LARRY please removed that information.

Cali MJ Fan   September 5th, 2009 9:04 am ET

I am sure the Jackson's address is like sending a letter to Santa Claus with only the North Pole as the address. It will get there with or without the full address listed. LOL Besides, it has always been out on the net.

Someone mentioned sending flowers– here is another suggestion since flowers are many times a cause of allergies– and you don't know who in the home has allergies– or to what flowers..

Take the money you would have spent on the flowers, and donate it to one of the charities Michael supported, in his name, and ask that they send an acknowledgment card to Michael's children, or mother.

Money put to good use in Michael's name and Michael I suspect, would have loved it.

thanks – I agree, the best way to honour Michael is to continue his work. I have a lifetime of charitable and social action, however had been feeling burned out, and for about a year dropped out of most things to have a rest from 'the good fight'.

However, this summer, watching footage of so many of Michael's projects, if started to feel re-invigorated and I joined some new charities. He has always been able to get me up on my feet, he was and remains so inspiring.

To Cali MJ Fan, Great idea!!!

Cali MJ Fan   September 5th, 2009 9:33 am ET

Here are excerpts from the Glendale PD press release about media information prior to the service:
"******* August 28, 2009 *********
For Media Information

The application submitted by the Glendale Police Department for a TFR with the FAA was approved as follows:

-Three mile radius of Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale from the surface to 3000’ MSL (above sea level) starting at 1700hrs local time and ending at 2200hrs local time on September 3, 2009.

-All aircraft requesting to operate within the restricted airspace will need to comply under FAR 91.137 (d)(4) and (e) 1-5 through the local Flight Service Station. "

"Update Posted On: 8/28/2009 1:18:05 PM

Some of the details for the service. -Forest Lawn Memorial Park will be closed for the funeral service. -The service is indoors. -Family only. -Tentatively, one pool camera and one photographer inside Forest Lawn. Information to follow on these contacts when confirmed. (Pool cam may see family carry casket with family members following, enter Mausoleum. Doors close. Family exits at conclusion of service."

It is possible when the air coverage continued, that they thought they could film until the family went into the Mausoleum. If this is the case, then I don't think the media should be slammed. If it isn't the case, then shame on them and Randy has a right to be furious.

Just giving another view of the story. It is easy to take one side based on biased details.

Lora Ottawa Canada   September 5th, 2009 9:38 am ET

Cali MJ Fan

Obviously the information is incorrect as the ceremony was outside!

CNN only covered overhead shots up to when the children placed the crown on coffin.....after that we saw no aereal footage...on CNN U.S. anyway!

Cali MJ Fan   September 5th, 2009 9:49 am ET

CNN didn't cover the aerial Lora. It came from KTLA and KABC out of Los Angeles and was being fed live to the networks, such as CNN.

When the feed went dead to CNN, it also went dead to the live feeds on the respective TV sites (if you went to their sites, you could see it streamed).

Please take note that the service did start outside, but it went inside the Masoleum– and from reading the press release, it appears as if they could have filmed up until the participants went inside, if they were outside the no fly zone. They stopped after the crown was placed– and maybe that is when it was realized they weren't to continue.

Remember too, the helio shots were constant for an hour and a half before the family arrived, so it is not like no one knew they weren't there or they weren't allowed to be there. The police had a copter in the sky for monitoring too– so someone would have stopped the coverage LONG before.

Honestly, i think there are 2 sides to this and KTLA and KABC should have a chance to give their story before everyone jumps on them just because Randy is throwing a fit.

Lora Ottawa Canada   September 5th, 2009 9:56 am ET

There are 6 parts to this on youtube....talks about Mottola also

Anne   September 5th, 2009 10:04 am ET

Lindafromnewyork I can't find that video on you tube. Do you have the link for it?

A new book about MJ already proved the allegations were untrue. By showing his face, he would need a body guard like Conrad Murray.

I was surprised Randy was so upset since they reportedly filmed part of Michael's funeral for their A&E television show. The helicopters could have been avoided by allowing it to be televised with one camera. But I think they were using their filming for commercial purposes. You cannot say you want privacy and then give filming rights to A&E. If that is true, Michael Jackson would be devastated to know they used his body for commerical gain.

When does the pain of losing him go away? I still cry when I see him on videos or hear him sing.

MaryRM   September 5th, 2009 10:37 am ET

Anne – maybe TMZ just made it up about Randy. wouldn't be the first time things were just made up about a Jackson.

Lora – I had seen that footage before – he was so endearing, I have no idea how people could not develop affection for this man. Even at 45 years, he still gets embarrassed. And we're soldiers of love!

8/20/2009, 1:05 pm, EDT
Name: Vicki Owens

I had the privilege of sitting very close to MJ when he visited the theatre in London back in March. The experience totally changed my perception of him – what I saw was a relaxed normal guy enjoying himself like everyone else; it was the entourage around him who were creating the stresses, although I appreciate they were just doing their job. MJ looked fit, well and happy. I am truly shocked and saddened by his death and the world has lost a very talented and misunderstood man.

Heal of the world foundation is not run by Michael Jackson or his family anymore. You might want to check who is behind it and make sure the foundation is following Michaels legacy.

However, I belive you dont have to give money to exactly the same charity as michael did. The World move on and new areas where help will be needed will pop up. I suggest you think your self, look around yourself and your family and see where help is needed. That, together with some of the areas that Michael really had in his heart (Like Aids research, cancer, education for everybody) will guide you in what to support.

I also think that money is not the only way to continue with Michaels legacy. Time and effort is very needed in this world. Take some time to help somebody in need, visit an eldery person who spends a lot of time alone. Offer a mother who has to work a lot to take her children out for a day. Make sure to buy fair trade food.

What Michael did was to keep his eyes and ears open and whenever he heard about some one needing help he tried his best to give help. Whether it was tsunami victims, starving people in the world, taking a poor urban child to the sea side. Michael legacy is more about a caring attitude towards the fellow citizen and a keeping a hope for a world. It is a work in process and only we can do that work.

Lisa S. Micheal may not own Heal The World foundation but some of his charities he was involved are listed there.

Patty Anderson   September 5th, 2009 11:31 am ET

Hang in there Linda. Lets get to work on our tribute Positive energy for Micheal. We need to turn our pain and sorrow into positive so that we keep his legacy alive.

Judie   September 5th, 2009 11:32 am ET

How can someone so shy have that much sex appeal.

Good Morning all,,,,,,,,,,,,,ty for redirecting me as to all you guys were. Question,,,,,,,,,,,,,Did anyone see MIchaels oldest sister at the funeral??

Lisa S   September 5th, 2009 11:33 am ET

Patty Anderson September 5th, 2009 11:29 am ET:

Yes, that is true. But there are also many things on that site that has nothing to do with Michael Jacksons wish to make this world a better place.

Lisa S   September 5th, 2009 11:35 am ET

Rebbie was there.

Patty Anderson   September 5th, 2009 11:37 am ET

Lisa S. that is true. The best thing we could all do is get out in our own communities. There is such a need everywhere. We can all do this in Michaels memory. Lets keep all the good he started going. That's my goal.

sherry   September 5th, 2009 11:40 am ET

well if there really was a no fly zone maybe the press should have respected that

Patty Anderson   September 5th, 2009 11:41 am ET

Sherry the media has no respect for anything or anyone. If they see a story or whatever they do what they want too.

lindafromnewyork   September 5th, 2009 11:41 am ET

I did read it and Randy is correct. The media should have stopped when the life feed stopped. We did not see the children putting a crown of Michael's coffin-That was private-

Judie   September 5th, 2009 11:45 am ET

The press always wants to be the first & they feed on that.... as I said on the other blog this morning did they not learn anything from Princess Diana death. How tragic and I was reading an article this morning on Michael it was interesting then halfway down the used the term Jacko a couple of times this is such disrespect

sherry   September 5th, 2009 11:45 am ET

lindafromnewyork,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yeah the media doesnt care as long as they make $$$$$

Hi Linda 🙂

how do you do?

Tiffany   September 5th, 2009 12:58 pm ET

Dr.Murray may not be the blame. If you listen to the album Blood on the dance floor the song "Morphine " at the end of the song he continually makes a statement" , Demoral, Demoral, oh God he's taking Demoral." so Michael Jackson's been taking IV drugs since 1997. So Dr. murray may not be the blame

Lori   September 5th, 2009 2:34 pm ET

@Tiffany - you cannot assume that just because there are song lyrics that it is some kind of definitive proof that Michael was taking morphine and/or demoral or any other prescribed medication at that or any other time. Song lyrics are not proof.

Lori   September 5th, 2009 2:35 pm ET

Good morning everyone..
It is pouring down rain and cold here!

rosegarden   September 5th, 2009 2:55 pm ET

Mariau, thanks for the video, one of the dance tributes was from my hometown! Glad to see MJ's fans also showed their respect to him.

mariau   September 5th, 2009 3:01 pm ET

rosegarden- how are you? i compiled all this dance tribute and making part 2 theres lot more..

Curious   September 5th, 2009 3:03 pm ET

Lori, song lyrics are not proof, but why was Michael singing about drugs? Sounds like he was crying out for help with his addiction.

Curious   September 5th, 2009 3:05 pm ET

Lori, also Dr Klein already said he had given Michael demroal.

Lisa S   September 5th, 2009 3:12 pm ET

the first dance was from Sweden 🙂

Murray cannot be the only criminal in this case as he had only been in Michaels life a very short while.

mariau   September 5th, 2009 3:15 pm ET

curious – i think drugs for ailment is different to describe a person is an addict. Michael situation was different and could not compare to junckie addict.

To Janet and the entire Jackson's family I send peace and love and I pray for GOD's strenght in this difficult time. I Love Michael from afar he was a beautiful, kind, loving,GOD fearing person I will love him forever in my heart- from Barbados

rosegarden   September 5th, 2009 3:39 pm ET

Curious, "morphine" was the theme of the movie, gosh, I forgot the name of it. The song was marvelous but full of pains, especially this part:
This won't hurt you
Before I put it in
Close your eyes and count to ten
Don't cry
I won't convert you
There's no need to dismay
Close your eyes and drift away
Remember, MJ said he wouldn't sing anything meaningless?
Liza Tailor said years ago that she tried to help MJ to reh a few times but he refused, so she gave up later. So, did his family.
I know it is hard to fans who love MJ so much to know he involved in drugs, but to consider his situation, it's understandable that he needed drugs to smooth the pains from his mind & body. Maybe the supports from family & friends were not persistence? Who knows? Also, as fans, the love we towards him is unconditional, regardless his shortcomings, he's forever loved.

Curious   September 5th, 2009 3:56 pm ET

rosegarden, I agree he had a lot a pain inside. it is a shame that someone in his family couldnt get thru to him. It is a big lost the the world of entertainment. There will never be anyone that can come close to MJ.

Stu,Hungary   September 5th, 2009 4:18 pm ET

rosegarden   September 5th, 2009 5:02 pm ET

It'd be none, Curious, with the tremendous success like MJ, nobody would survive, talent always gone too soon, sigh....

Tina (Germany)   September 5th, 2009 5:42 pm ET

In Germany we were able to see the children put something there, but from high above. You could not see exactly what they were doing but all three went to the coffin and put something there, but you did not know what at that point. But soon after that it was cut off I think......didn't know that was already a part that should not have been aired and know now that it was a crown.

Judie   September 5th, 2009 6:02 pm ET

Tina (Germany) it was a jeweled crown

Maria   September 5th, 2009 6:40 pm ET

I saw exactly the same thing as Tina. Aerial footage for some minutes more, before they cut off the live stream, but all was very unclear. I had no idea what the children were doing. And that was all. I don't think someone could film inside the mausoleum, without the family's permission. Neither Randy says that in his letter.

Mariam   September 5th, 2009 6:53 pm ET

To all the michael jackson fans. I wanted to share this with you. I have family members with vitiligo. It is a painful disease and breaks down your self esteem. My relatives are not entertainers or in the spotlight and they had such struggles that they finally got injected with a solution that makes you white all over. It never goes away you suffer lack of self confidence. Why cant the american public understand this disease. They seem to show no sympathy. There is a lot of sympathy for this kind of disease elsewhere in the world. He used make up to look normal. He wore bright clothes to cover the pain he suffered eversince he had this disease. He was reaching out to people through his songs trying to express his suffering but no one heard him. Its a shame he was such a great entertainer. He was the king of pop. People exploited him for money and made cruel stories about him. No one let him live in peace. I think thats why Michael Jackson turned to prescription drugs and propofol. He was escaping this grim and brutal world. I pray his soul rests in peace. I also think other hollywood celebs shouldn't get caught in fame. As fame is a double-edged weapon. It looks like britney spears or madonna may face similar circumstances in the future with the media and paparazzi chasing their every move. I think fans no longer want tabloid rubbish. We want to hear good news rather than intrude in other peoples lives. I will always remember the off the wall album I heard when I was 14 and how it inspired me and brought great joy into my life. Thanks for such great music MJ and may your legacy live forever.

NINA YIRDAW   September 5th, 2009 7:04 pm ET

My dear Michael you were a shining star but gone too soon. I miss you Michael. I am strucked by grief and wondering how your family could let go of you. Dear Michael you were an angel given to the world. But we were never respected God's gift. Now you are taken away. The world should wrapped with guilt for being so judgmental. Michael now you are in a perfect place for you with Saint Michael and St. Gabriel where you will be placed among them. God protect your family.

cherubijne, The Netherlands   September 5th, 2009 8:45 pm ET

To Judie:

Maybe you can send this media an email about their disrespect in the article.
The media is powerful but when millions of people are sending an email about this disrespect....mmh.
In my opinion, it's the only way to deal with this media in order to achieve more respect for each other.
Otherwise this will go on and on...and on...
-example function media?-

Sandy-Houston   September 6th, 2009 12:00 am ET

Good evening all,

I don’t get on this blog as often as I would like due to my schedule(nurses work crazy hours). But I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for helping me get through the day of Michael’s burial with your beautiful words, poems, etc. I tried to keep up throught the day and night, but am still reading some of them.
Just a few to mention…
LORI- Yes, Michael is definitely at peace with his God.
GERALD- Your kind words about Michael mean so much. It is a clear example of what Michael wanted the world to do.
PATTY ANDERSON-Beautiful poem. Michael knows how he’s affected the world…I believe God has already shown him.
MARIAU- for your touching words. Yes, God does promise to stand by all of us.
SUSAN 62509- for “My First Day in Heaven”…beautiful.
ELI-ISRAEL- what a privelege to take your written prayer concerning Michael to the Wailing Wall. From your hand to God’s ear. PEACE.
SPIRIT-for reprinting the Oxford speech which reminds me what an eloquent and well spoken man Michael was.
KARLA- for your wise words. The one we all love and miss is no longer physically with us on Earth, but we have his spirit, his soul. He is in the presence of God and knows more love than he ever imagined. We can still fill his spirit here everyday in many ways, but I will feel it most when I listen to beautiful music…Michael loved all kinds of beautiful music.
GLORIA-for link to funeral program. He was truly loved when he was born and when he left this world…. and he did DEAL with all the inbetween.
JANICE- I am grateful, too that I lived in the same era as this remarkable man.
SYU-To love like Jesus did and does. Yes, that’s what Michael did.
STACY G & IRINA, EUROPE- He is the diamond glint on snow!
PAULINE, GERMANY- What a gift he was indeed!!

I know I have forgotten some, but you all have donea great job at keeping the info going about all that is going on.

And last but not least, thank you all ……..for the GOLD PANTS!!!

I know the coming days with the charges, trial etc. whatever may happen, will not be easy and will most likely get ugly. I for one, will try to remember how Michael lived his life and not try to get caught up in all the negativity and false information. But it will be darn hard!!

Let’s all remember to SMILE…though our hearts are breaking.

I’ll “see” you all when I can on this blog.

The best post ever written! Repost:

Sunset in the Pacific September 4th, 2009 3:53 pm ET

To truly allow the family, friends and fans some lasting peace and consideration.

Jubaida   September 6th, 2009 2:58 am ET

Janet and Jermaine, please do something to erase all misunderstandings and false allegations surrounding our beloved MJ. Please write and publish a book so that all who are talking against your brother shut up. MJ will always be in my prayers. Love to you also.

Jubaida   September 6th, 2009 3:36 am ET

Mr. Larry King, please make interviews with that Chandler boy and if possible with the other two also – as they are adults now and we really want to see them admit their terrible guilt of destroying the life and reputation of a TRUE musical legend.
It is not at all right that there are information flying around regarding these boys that they admitted their mistakes and the media is just keeping on hiding or ignoring (i dont know what to say?) these facts from the world. Mr. King, please do justice towards MJ. We can expect this much from you, can't we?

Hi Sandy 🙂

pat davis   September 6th, 2009 5:40 pm ET

Hello, my fello Michael Jackson fans. I started my day off by looking at Michael's funeral coverage again (on DVR). Of course it bought me to tears. His family and friends looked sooo sad, almost lost. As if they were in a daze, just going through the motions. How sad for them. Has anyone noticed how Blanket covers his face when he knows the cameras are on them (the children)? He's the shy one, like Michael. My heart goes out to Michael's kids. It's got to be so heartbreaking for them. What an adjustment they've got to be going throught. I'm sure the Jackson family is providing them with plenty of love, but they were so close to Michael. It seemed like Michael didn't let them out of his sight for to long. They seemed to be home with the nanny, or when in public they were with him. He didn't trust to many people around his children. He loved them so much! And I do beleive he was a good dad. God Bless Them All, and of course GOD BLESS THE KING OF POP! Michael will be forever missed. MJ4LIFE!

Catherine   September 6th, 2009 7:51 pm ET

to the entire media,
please let the family grieve in peace and leave them alone. they don't want anymore slander about their son at all. just start going after conrad murrary for what he did to their son. latoya jackson is right andd so is the family. he was murdered by dr. conrad murrary

pat davis   September 6th, 2009 8:18 pm ET

Catherine, I said it from the beginning. When I heard Michael Jackson died and this Dr. Murray had administered CPR incorrectly, right from the beginning I said something isn't right. Although their are other doctors to be investigated, Dr. Murray was with him when he died! I too beleive he was murdered. I really don't think it was an accident. I think Dr. Murray didn't realize how much Michael Jackson was loved, and how many fans he really had that still supported and beleived in him all over the world. And if it was an accident, it was a careless one. I just don't beleive anyone could administer that many drugs into an individual an not expect drastic results. I can't wait to see him arrested!

To The Jackson Family
when you feel the cool breeze across your face it is me
when you are feeling lonely just think of our memories embrace a smile. when you think of me joy will envelope your heart cause i seal it with my love, you are never alone for i am with the always and forever.
god will heal your mending hearts and will dry your tears just call on him when your spirit needs to be lifted.... just remember he is not gone forever but with The Lord preparing a place for all of us in eternity
with respect and love

I too much him so much....

CH   September 7th, 2009 12:02 am ET

For those of you who are fans of Michael Jackson's you may want to check out youtube. Some of the younger fans have been getting together and organizing flash mobs as tributes. These "mobs" consists of groups of dancer, sometimes hundreds, that perform short 2 to 4 minute dances to Jackson's songs. Beat it seems to be the song of choice. It started in Sweden with a group called bounce in June and has spread throughout the world. It is really heart warming to see the devotion of these fans and I can't think of a better way for people to pay tribute to him. It is such a simple, respectful way of celebrating his love of dance and music! I wish there was a way of making sure his family was aware of these tributes. I think it would warm their hearts to know the love people had for him world wide. I am sure Michael Jackson is smiling down on them watching!

lee   September 7th, 2009 2:19 am ET

I hate to say this, but I think Mj was addicted to propofol. For decades he has been seeing Klein 3x a week for several hours each visit.. Klein could have been giving Mj propofol. It is a highly addictive drug. Murray was hired to give him propofol every night while in rehearsals for the London concert.. The major culprit is the doctor (Ratner) that introduced Mj to the drug, since it is only given in hospitals.
Just a thought, but could this be why MJ was addicted to plastic surgery?
Also, I have a niece with anorexia........and MJ did have some of the characteristics, such as, perfectionistic, extremely thin, exaggerated body image, extremely careful what he ate, anxiety (maybe OCD). Another common quality of anorexia is having been abused as a child, mostly sexually. Also there is a prevalent correlation between propofol addiction and sexual abuse.

blair   September 7th, 2009 3:09 am ET

There has not been much mention of the fact that Mj had skin cancer (melanoma) on his nose which was diagnosed 2 months before his death. Katherine mentioned it in response to the disgusting Rolling Stone article.

mytake   September 7th, 2009 3:21 am ET

To Lee:

What the hell are you talking about?

You hate to say this????, but then you go on to project stupid analogies that you have no knowledge of what you're saying, BECAUSE you no nothing of MICHAEL.

How are you seriously going to state that Propofol addiction correlates with sexual abuse?

PROPOFOL is used mostly in HOSPITALS for anesthesiology in SURGERIES.

In your ridiculousness, you're stating that a person using Propofol for surgeries could possibly have an abuse problem that's sexual.

NO ONE USES PROPOFOL for everyday use.

So how can you FIX your brain to account an addiction to IT with ANYTHING, other than NEEDING TO BE RESTED?

Where does your post FIT into that subject?

Some people should learn to keep their damm thoughts to themselves.

I hate to say this...YOU ARE IGNORANT!

mytake   September 7th, 2009 3:24 am ET

To Lee:

What the hell are you talking about?

You hate to say this????, but then you go on to project stupid analogies that you have no knowledge of what you're saying, BECAUSE you (CORRECTION) "know" nothing of MICHAEL.

lee   September 7th, 2009 4:34 am ET

Do your research on the drug propofol. Many anesthesiologists have become addicted to the drug. It is used for surgeries, yes, but doctors/anesthesiologists have been using if for other purposes and it has led to many fatalities. Someone posted the website for the medical journal. You should read it.

jacqueline from holland   September 7th, 2009 5:59 am ET

seker   September 7th, 2009 11:53 am ET

I'm very sad. He isn't here anymore.

Maria   September 7th, 2009 12:55 pm ET

@ lee: I thought about it myself. There is a gynecologist named Harvey Richmond who said Klein used his office to perform a minor acne procedure on MJ. Richmond said he was surprised that Klein chose to put MJ under full anesthesia with propofol for such a minor operation.
I agree with you about Ratner.

ann   September 7th, 2009 2:53 pm ET

Just a comment about the Jackson address
for those who think it shouldn't be posted here...
Their address is not exactly a secret.
You can find it all over the internet...on court docs you can read, or different searches.
People already know where it is
I don't think it is a violation of anything to have it posted here.

Maria   September 7th, 2009 3:11 pm ET

My heart pains at the thought that MJ is no longer with us.Love you and miss you Mike, rest in peace sweety.

Mariam   September 7th, 2009 3:20 pm ET

Stop using this site to further exploit Michael Jackson. He is already dead leave him alone to rest in peace. If theres nothing nice to say about him then dont say it. I did notice something about him. He was a very courteous, polite man who was a little shy, but we all have personality traits and he is no different. He was a very modest person who loved people of all colours, race and religions. He was very kind to children and loved his kids. It is evident from their upbringing that he did a wonderful job. These are only a few of his greater qualities.

Lorna Loomis   September 7th, 2009 7:05 pm ET

Michael is gone from our sight but will remain with us forever in our hearts and in our minds.
I wish the Jackson family the eventual peace that they deserve. God bless them all, especially the children who are in our prayers daily.

pat davis   September 7th, 2009 8:16 pm ET

Who has The Jackson's address? I know the address that Michael died at because it was stated in the 911 call. Is this the address being spoken of, or is their another? Please respond.

Sue Clark   September 7th, 2009 8:16 pm ET

I am sure I am not alone in wondering why people are treating him like he was a saint in life. Have you all forgotten the child abuse charges against him???? Amazing what problems money can buy us out of isn't it? Let's not forget the children that he has left permanent damage upon.

I watched Michael my whole life, and I watched the rest of his family as well. I am so grateful we were able to watch him growing up, as well as watching his talent grow. We have lost a wonderful human being and a great amazing talent. His family however has lost so much more than us and I hope that the world can grant them the privacy and peace that was not given to Michael. I know we would all love to know his children are happy and safe, but they also need the peace and privacy so they can develop normally.
Lets be grateful for the man and talent Michael Jackson, now let him RIP

Holland   September 7th, 2009 9:42 pm ET

Sue Clark -

Surely he's not a saint. He's a human being. A human being killed by people full of cruelty, jealousy, prejudices and ignorance like you.

I will never forget the children he helped save their lives, I will also never forget the children whose parents are so greedy and tried to take every thing possible out of Michael. The world will never forget that.

rose nelson   September 7th, 2009 9:51 pm ET

Gee I posted something something on the blog and I don;t see it here so let me repeat myself albeit in a much briefer format first and formost my deepest sympathy to the jackson family for the loss of their son/brother/dad. I'm sorry randy was upset that the media covered the event but I question how they found out about it to begin with. Who gave them the information and the media passes. Also I don't really feel that the fans have really been given an opportunity to say their goodbyes and if they want to pay their respects there is no place to really do that I wonder if the family is thinking of anything in the future>? My prayers go out especially to his 3 children Prince.Paris,& Blanket I'ts tough to lose a parent and he was everything to them and they were everything to him

pat davis   September 7th, 2009 10:21 pm ET

Michael Jackson would not have been aquitted of ALL charges if he had been guilty! Back when that trial was going on I used to say people knew he wasn't guilty, they WANTED him to be guilty. No one's saying Michael was a saint, but he was not this monster that the media tried to make him. Michael had the sweetest, kindest soul. He did enough good deeds in his lifetime that he was welcomed into Heaven with open arms! Look at how he befriended Dave Dave. Michael looked like he was in his 20's. Caring about others who were not as fortunate was something he's been doing most of his life. He LOVED children, and would never do anything to harm them. MJ4LIFE!

Mara   September 7th, 2009 10:55 pm ET

I didn't try but someone said that they are already filled up so I'm assuming there's a limit. I don't know.

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 10:56 pm ET

Mara didn't you mention Rhonda's site. Really beautiful there

Mara   September 7th, 2009 10:56 pm ET

It's on FB Patty posted it this morning something about Tito and the brother's putting on a performance in October in Detroit.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 10:57 pm ET

Guys–where are we blogging from–I can't figure out Rondha's site

Lori   September 7th, 2009 10:58 pm ET

I am staying here. 🙂 Maybe I will get my The Informer poem written tonight.

Mara   September 7th, 2009 10:59 pm ET

Yes, I really like Rhonda's sight she has done a beautiful job! Is there anything new going on? I haven't looked at the news yet, TV been on Football all day so I'm not sure if anyone is reporting anything new.

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:00 pm ET

Lois I posted it on the tribute page

Hi Linda how are you this evening?

sarah   September 7th, 2009 11:00 pm ET

Hi everyone!!!!

Found you! You guys on Lois's FB she has the poster from "This is It"

Lori   September 7th, 2009 11:04 pm ET

@ Linda it has been confusing since day 1. It continues to confuse. Hopefully we will hear something about the investigation soon, after all Bratton's resignatiion is effective the end of October.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:04 pm ET

Patty–I'm ok–
Where is Jacquelyn

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:05 pm ET

I followed Linda over here. Hi everyone.

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:08 pm ET

Does anyone know where Gene has been? I hope he is fishing. I haven't seen him for a while.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:09 pm ET

i exhausted already trying to find everyone–so are we going to keep using the LKL blogs

Heidi   September 7th, 2009 11:09 pm ET

Have finished the poem for the Informer?

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:09 pm ET

did you see that comment that I mentioned

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:10 pm ET

LOL the Ed Hardy blog was making my heart valve clog. It was taking a minute to refresh!

Heidi   September 7th, 2009 11:10 pm ET

Hi Linda!

Heidi   September 7th, 2009 11:11 pm ET

Hi Mara!

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:11 pm ET

Hi Hedi

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:12 pm ET

Linda I just came on a bit ago but so far haven't seen Jacquelyn.

Do we have a blog on the tribute site or just comments?

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:12 pm ET

Yes I saw it. I replied on the chat but you were already gone. I think he might be trying to be funny or kid around as opposed to being an ass. We'll be able to tell with his next few posts. He onl;y wrote one time and then left.

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:12 pm ET

Hi Heidi

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:12 pm ET

Hey Heidi how are ya?

Lori   September 7th, 2009 11:13 pm ET

I think that this is just a lull in the action. The end of summer. I think there is more to come. There is still the investigation. We need to be patient.

I hope we hear from Gene soon, too. He probably took the opportunity to go fishing again over the long holiday weekend. 🙂

Heidi – I am working on it. It is not flowing as easily as the Elegy for Michael did. But it is coming...

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:13 pm ET

What do you mean?

Heidi   September 7th, 2009 11:13 pm ET

Good, I have to work tomorrow.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:14 pm ET

can we have a blog on the Las Vegas fan tribute site?

Heidi   September 7th, 2009 11:15 pm ET

I'm looking forward to it....

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:15 pm ET

Can we have a blog on FB?

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:18 pm ET

You mentioned something earlier about no information on This is it tickets–I don't waht they are waiting for–you think they would let usknow how mjuch

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:19 pm ET

Someone (forgot their screen name) said that we shouldn't believe in the #7 something about a cult....

I was thinking – we are just bringing up the coincidence of everything ending up or relating to the number 7.

Some people read too much into the posts and take it to heart Need to lighten up a little.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:21 pm ET

I agree–some people come on and really take everything we say seriously-we should lighten up a bit-this whole thing is really hard on everybody

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:21 pm ET

Lori I sure hope you are right

It sure seems ever since Sept 3rd everything has gone dead silent. Even the T V stations have backed off of Michael Jackson programs. It's like they want it all to go away.

We can't let Michael just fade away. Noway

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:23 pm ET

I think I would rather the stations back away than to be disrespectful to Michael.

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:24 pm ET

And if it wasn't for Larry leaving the blogs open 24/7 we probably would've never met each other or been able to grieve in our own way and own time. Thank you Larry.

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:25 pm ET

Don't know about you all but the funeral on Thursday really helped me get past that "shock-grief-in-limbo" phase since MJ died. In retrospect I think what probably affected him MOST was that his "good friends" didn't publicly and verbally stick by him during the accusations and trial. Like Eddie Murphy, Diana Ross, Magic Johnson, Oprah, etc. I think that hurt him more than the media lies, more than his lost childhood, more than the divorces, more than his early abuse from Joe. He could have handled all of those things if his influential and powerful "close friends" would have been more vocal and supportive when he needed them. I think that's why he fled the States after the trial.

Barbara   September 7th, 2009 11:25 pm ET

Okay...going with the 7 theme, didn't Michael Jackson get into the Guiness World Book of records for selling out for seven nights at Wembley Stadium, London, England in the summer of 1988. I know it was a long time ago-but's another thing with 7!

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:26 pm ET

Has anyone heard from Farewell? She went to Forest Lawn also.

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:26 pm ET

Definately that Linda I don't want to hear any more negative either. I just miss all the programs that were on for awhile. You could go to certain stations like T V Guide Network and watch things like his fashion line. Things like that.

I wish we could see him on everyday. The fact he's gone just doesn't want to settle I guess. Like you said, it's really hard.

Lori   September 7th, 2009 11:27 pm ET

@Diane - but he always had us. The true fans. We were always more loyal than many of his "friends".

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:28 pm ET

Really good point Diane.

sarah   September 7th, 2009 11:29 pm ET

that i was saying yesterday, all of a sudden its get sooooooooo quiet for a while and then BAM we get a big headline it like some one is thinking what should be a next move .............

i agree Mara

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:29 pm ET

you're right–I'm grateful to Larry King also

Michael song's are in heavery rotation on NYC radio stations

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:30 pm ET

Ok – I found you guys am tripping all over the place lol

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:32 pm ET

Lori –

And I think he knew that his fans were loyal. Except.....I don't know what he would have thought of fan loyalty since his last few album sales were so low. Part of that is that they weren't promoted and played on the radio and hip hop had all kinds of new artists. HE was so amazing though. His record sales are up for 2009 and I hope they continue to rise and that the movie does well. It will help his legacy.

Heidi   September 7th, 2009 11:32 pm ET

Hi Lois!

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:33 pm ET

speaking of the Informer – did he not say that he started blogging with us on August 7th?? - Another 7!!!

Detroit Mara – that is pretty far for me...I live on the westcoast in BC.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:34 pm ET

i didn't know Blood on the dance floor had been out until I heard that it didn't sell that well–I never heard it on the radio–Alot of his songs were not being played

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:35 pm ET

MJ's music is in rotation in Minneapolis, too. (Of course, this is Prince country as you know). Janet was here a lot recording with Jimmy Jam when he lived here and supposedly MJ snuck in and out because his sister was here so much.

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:35 pm ET

Diane that movie would do 100 times better if they put it on dvd. I'm sure that would generate sales for a long time. People everywhere are going to want to see this and have it forever. It's the last time we will ever see him perform.

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:35 pm ET

If you add up Michael's year of birth and date it comes to 34 - 3 plus 4 is 7.

7 was his favourite number.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:36 pm ET

Mara–had to leave last night-You and Rhonda are planning to get together in Vegas

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:37 pm ET

they are not planning to release the movie on DVD?

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:37 pm ET

Linda NY:

I am sorry to say that I didn't know about it either. It just had NO play or PR or anything. Poor probably made him feel bad. I think it did better in Asia and Europe though. I don't blame him for leaving the States.

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:37 pm ET

Mara – I don't know if there is such an application on Facebook for blogging with groups, but I will definitely check it out. I know you can leave messages, etc...but that is not the same as getting an answer right away.

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:38 pm ET

Hi Heidi 🙂

Lori   September 7th, 2009 11:39 pm ET

I thought the first TI posts were August 12?

Rhonda   September 7th, 2009 11:39 pm ET

Is there something I can help you with on the site

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:40 pm ET

Thank god–Michael always knew that his popularity remained in the stratosphere-in Asia and Europe–The US really let him down. I don't mean to offend anyone

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:40 pm ET

Muchmusic just played that Burcharest video this he is getting alot of air is about time.

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:41 pm ET

Patty A and Linda NY –

They haven't said anything about a DVD release yet. My guess is that they will wait to see how the movie does and then decide on whether to do a DVD. I will go to the movie. I need to see my Dear Sweet Heart in his last days.

sarah   September 7th, 2009 11:41 pm ET

didn't the first TI post was on that Vienna Tribute article ????

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:42 pm ET

Hi Rhonda
Lois, Mara, Patty and I are trying to figure out what we need to do.

Patty did you hear back from the official MJ fan club?

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:42 pm ET

They were Lori – but he said August 7th...maybe that was a clue ??

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:43 pm ET

That makes 2 of us Diane. I just hope it's playing somewhere I can get to. Is it going to play in all states or just certain areas?

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:43 pm ET

I will be going to the movie too–it will be sadi-but I need to see Michael.

Rhonda   September 7th, 2009 11:45 pm ET

Are you having trouble on my site

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:45 pm ET

I would think they would show the movie throughout the US

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:45 pm ET

Yes, are you coming?? Rhonda said she's coming over in December for a business trip. Sandy12345 (can't remember the numbers) lives here and I believe Heidi is trying to come out also. But it's not tribute related.

I asked Lois, Patty and Niura or anybody else who would like to participate in this project if they would like to meet up in December also since the other girls will be here. That would be a great time to talk – and work out a plan.

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:45 pm ET

They would be stupid not to put it on DVD eventually....they would make millions, because not everyone can make it to a theatre.

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:45 pm ET

Linda I haven't heard anything. Not sure how else to try and contact them outside of what is listed under the contact us link.
There has to be a way to reach them.

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:46 pm ET

Lois –

Were you just on the chat site as Lois48 with Angelwings?

Barbara   September 7th, 2009 11:46 pm ET

I hope the movie makes its way to Canada too!

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:46 pm ET

Hi Rhonda
A little bit–I try to blog–but I can't find anyone–I'm not to tech savvy–btw I love the new videos

Lori   September 7th, 2009 11:47 pm ET

@Lois - or maybe the Informer that said the 7th, was one of the many imposters? Who knows?

Patty Anderson   September 7th, 2009 11:47 pm ET

I responded to that Mara on Fb on the tribute site. I am going to try.

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:48 pm ET

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:48 pm ET

It would be nice to come out in December Mara – but I am between jobs and so if I find something soon, then I may not be able to get the time unless it is on a weekend.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:49 pm ET

When in December-

Who did we get the original letter from

Rhonda   September 7th, 2009 11:50 pm ET

when you get to the site and click on opinion, then click on comments, and then love you more blog...It should take you to the blog page...we are on there now if you want to try....I haven't seen any comments on the blog, but I do see the ones on the comment page.

I have a comments page and a blog page..Let me know if that helped:)

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:50 pm ET

I was thinking weekend also

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:51 pm ET

Lori – I don't think so, it was posted on August 19/20 – the last day he/she was on....when he said he won't be on, but things will be happening that he won't need to be on much...that blog.

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:51 pm ET

What dates are you coming in was it the end of November to the first week of December?

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:53 pm ET

Yes I was Diane - angel was not talking so I got out...actually no one was talking lol at least I didn't see anything come through, not even my posts.

Diane in Minneapolis   September 7th, 2009 11:53 pm ET

Angelwings is on the chat site and said that she is not able to post comments on this blog site any more. Does anyone know why that would be? There is no "Help" area here that I can find.

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:56 pm ET

I can't seem to find the last posts on the blog–

Lois   September 7th, 2009 11:57 pm ET

Diane – maybe she can make a new name with another email account..

Rhonda   September 7th, 2009 11:57 pm ET

there is a box at top click on newest post

lindafromnewyork   September 7th, 2009 11:58 pm ET

it's weird that angelswings can't post–I wonder what happened? that is so strante

Mara   September 7th, 2009 11:58 pm ET

It never dawned on me that I should go to my Regal Theatres and harass them too. LOL Maybe they will have an answer! I really want to see it on the Opening night!

Rhonda   September 7th, 2009 11:58 pm ET

I believe it is Nov 29th thru Dec 6th or 7th

Heidi   September 8th, 2009 12:00 am ET

You go girl 🙂

Mara   September 8th, 2009 12:00 am ET

Oh lord when is thanksgiving? Nov 27th?

lindafromnewyork   September 8th, 2009 12:02 am ET

night -

Rhonda -I'll get if eventually

Lori   September 8th, 2009 12:05 am ET

@Mara - they don't. No one knows Anything about it. It is just another mystery. I even went to the Imax, because at first they said it was going to have 3D sequences, but apparently now it is not. There is no information to be had yet. Strange since tickets are supposed to be on sale soon.

Mara   September 8th, 2009 12:06 am ET

I really really want to see it on Opening Night. My ticketmaster doesn't have answers so I figure I should go see Regal like Lori had mentioned. I never thought of that! Only 20 more days until the tickets go on sale I would think someone would know something by now!

Heidi   September 8th, 2009 12:11 am ET

Good Night Light...Sleep Well

Mara   September 8th, 2009 12:14 am ET

I don't think I can take another I think the movie should be priority over the concert in Vienna and concert in Detroit because this is actually Michael we will be seeing on the bigscreen.

Rhonda   September 8th, 2009 12:15 am ET

Night Linda

Lois   September 8th, 2009 12:22 am ET

I am going to post something on FB – go see it.

Lois   September 8th, 2009 12:25 am ET

It is something on Thriller Live tickets being sold in Germany in 2010 – actually 07-01-2010

Heidi   September 8th, 2009 12:29 am ET

They will have DVD:

The deal with Sony Pictures will also include a soundtrack, a director’s cut of the film and two special-edition DVDs.

Anna Homoky   September 8th, 2009 12:30 am ET

The Jackson "children", as I remember them from long time ago, were one of my favorite enterteinment group. Especially that "little one", Michael. I knew them from when they bought jewelry from me in Woodland Hills, CA. If I remember correctly Janet had 2 children. She used to stroll the baby, or babies, in to the store. I am very sorry that Michael had to die in such a sad way.
Rest in peace Michael!

Lois   September 8th, 2009 12:41 am ET

goodnight everyone - sweet dreams 😉

blair   September 8th, 2009 12:42 am ET

I hate that there is no news.......they keep running the "Man in the Mirror" on TV Guide Network. But, that show is hard to watch. I wish they would run the American Dream mini series. I love that one. I wish they would show "The Wiz"...I haven't seen it in years.

Heidi   September 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

Good Lois..I'm right behind you..sleep well

Mariam   September 8th, 2009 12:56 am ET

Hi MJ fans
Check this out. Michael Jackson in Tunisia. Just look at how the people of Tunisia are ecstatic about his arrival. He looks so happy. I think he was appreciated more in Africa and Europe. In the US they made cruel stories about him. If the parents of those children were so concerned then why did they let their kids spend nights at his house they had the choice to allow their children there or not. So they are really to blame not Jackson. Everyone was after his money. They exploited him. It was orchestrated to make him look bad.

itsme_gia   September 8th, 2009 1:42 am ET

You will be forever missed MJ.. i always listen to your song.. especially THE LOST CHILDREN...
I wish your children heart is really heavy when i think of them..without you.. i have a child too..but i know you are always watching over them..
God bless you Janet Jackson..I can feel the pain in your eyes..
Long Live MJ..

cat   September 8th, 2009 1:46 am ET

Hi Everyone! Most of us here on this blog are very upset and disturbed at the way the media treated Michael in his life here on earth. They are in large part responsible for his decline and eventual death. We can do something about it, we don't have to sit idly by feeling frustrated and sad at this injustice. A group of like-minded people have gotten together and started a group called "VINDICATION BETTER THAN TRIBUTES". It is a yahoo group and you can google it. If you would like to come on by and check it out and add your voice you will be welcomed with open arms. We are trying to keep our eyes on the ball and that is in bringing justice to Michael, making the media responsible for what they put forth and putting together a panel of influential people to vindicate Michael. He was "stoned" by the media until he couldn't take it anymore. He was only human. We need to make things right for his legacy and also as a way to protect his children from these same people hounding and hurting his children. Good people need to get together and make a difference. Truth. Let's do something about it.

Maria   September 8th, 2009 2:01 am ET

"Good people" don't have a hate list and don't seek vindication. If Jim Moret is on your hate list, why are you advertising your yahoo group on the LKL blog?

cat   September 8th, 2009 2:14 am ET

Yes, good people DO seek vindication for Michael Jackson! He deserves to be vindicated. He was slandered in the press and hounded to death! The list of people who were responsible for so much of the pain in his life, those who spewed untruths and unsubstantiated hurtful gossip are on a list of those "responsible" not hated. No where is there mentioned the word hate. TRUTH is nothing to be afraid of but should be fought for.

Brigida, Italy   September 8th, 2009 5:36 am ET

Good morning!

It's the shortest blog here, so I come here to give you the news from the Tribute in Vienna. I just saw the press-conference by Jermaine.
But they showed only a short part and the names coming out were:
Chris Brown, US 5, Angela Bassett, Sister Sledge. If I understood correct, there will be also some Bollywood-Star (perhaps they perform their tribute to Michael seen in youtube?) and – like Jermaine said- other surprises. He mentioned other singers but SkyNews came late as he had started yet.
Sure, you can read it today on his site.
Have a nice day everyone 🙂

Well said Kara and Mara. I agree on what you said completely. So True. I feel for all the members of the Jackson Family. As a long time fan of the Jackson's it does feel as though one's own family member has passed. I feel for the whole family but mostly Katherine. As a mother having to deal with all of the issues, decisions, the press...the list goes on. So yes, it is a good thing that the whole family is sticking together through all of this. My warm thoughts go out to the entire family. And to all of MJ's brothers and sisters...GOOD JOB!

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I personally would not have let my child alone with him for even 5 minutes...but that is my opinion.
Yes, he was a great musician but that does not override his faults.

Sue Clark- excuse me but you are the one with the facts wrong. Michael was not convicted of Molestation charges, he was FOUND NOT GUILTY. Yes you are entitled to your own opinions, but if you are going to acuse someone of a crime get the facts first. This is problem of people believing with the Medias want you to believe, and the fact is Michael is and was not a criminal as the media had you and others to believe. Sounds like from your comments that you really do not care for Michael, which that you but please don't convict him if you are not aware of the Truth. Thanks

His death (obviously MURDER) was perfectly plotted -they used MJ's weakness (Insomnia) in this case. And now like in his life, once again in death this plot helped to damage his reputation – now MJ can be easily portrayed as a DRUG ADDICT !!!!! It is all part of the game – right from the beginning-those who wanted to destroy him, his legacy and popularity – planned this perfect "death" for Michael. It is damn obvious but also damn perfect – so never will Michael get justice. Never will there be peace for him or any of his fans. Very big names could be involved into this, so his death will eventually be termed as "DRUG OVERDOSE", demanded by MJ HIMSELF! and MJ is not alive, who's going to say if he demanded it or not? What a plan to make the world forever remember MJ as a controversial personality and not for his musical legacy!!! What a plan!!!

Jubaida: Nice comment, but I do not believe that Michael's case will go down as an Addict. I don't believe that Michael's family will let this happen. LAPD/DA, eventually will takes some people down, because Joe Jackson for one will not let it go, along with Latoya. I hoping that the DA is taking their time that way went all the people go down it will be air tight. Even the Feds are in on this investigation so don't give up yet.

I think the family should refrain from any further public comment. Their remarks just fuel the fire.
Let the investigation continue, the charges be laid and the wrongdoers prosecuted.
More importantly, let the Jackson family live their lives in as much peace as they are able to garner for themselves.
I feel sorry most for Michael's children. What a horror story for them to get through.
I pray for their eventual happiness.

@Lorna – I 100% agree with you. The Jacksons should hire a PR person, I have been saying that over and over again. They unfortunately are contradicting each other its time for PR.

I was so pleased to see Latoya and my Jermain Jackson at the MOBO Awards.
You looked great and reminded me more of Micheal Jackson than anything. Guys I would like you to know that alot of people are behind you. Please continue keeping MJ 's light burning. I know its hard to comprehend with death but a word of strength, keep praying and love and look after MJ's children cos thats the only consolation in your lives.
and Me and my 3 children think and pray for you all the time.
We love you all. Remember it was MJ's time to answer the lords call. If not he would have been around still
God Bless
