Controversy Follows Clinton in Africa

There was nothing wrong with her comment toward overall voting issues; she was clearly trying to extend a hand and let the Nigerians know that while their free election issues are very serious and must be addressed, that voting and balloting issues are found worldwide including and most importantly, in the USA, the self-professed bastion of democracy. The presidential election between Gore and Bush was a debacle at best, and this was an appropriate comparison that made it clear that while the US is in a position of criticism of Nigerian election issues, that it is not is called diplomacy!
