A little too little a little too late!! This is a private matter and shouldn't be made public. We aren't the ones he beat up. Ofcourse he's sorry now, but once a beater always a beater!! He's a low life loser and should lose his career over it!

An apology is nothing without change...he needs to change his life..maybe leave the show business and go into hiding for ten or more years to get his mind together...Rihanna also ..This apology was scripted..thats not a real apology..he has a new album coming convenient..he hit her..then who will he hit ynext..he is about to be the modern Ike Turner..i already see it

Too sad, too bad. Hope someone bashes your head in one day, so you know how it feels. Butt Hole!

Once a beater always one. Yes. But this word CHANGE does exist and i strongly believe in it. Do i buy his whole apology thing? No!!! It seems rehearsed and i could tell he didn't mean it 100%. Guess coz i'm still too upset. I hated him for what he did and still do. But i also believe that something(someone) can change for the better. Let's just wait and see if it reoccurs. I hope it doesnt.

Obviously his reputation and record sales are going down. Chris Brown at least you could have looked into our eyes rather than the teleprompter. Shame on you to bring a private matter to public in such a shallow way.

come mon give this guy a break he is no different than you or me he made a mistake i"m sure everyone in the world is perfect i think not so let" give him a little credit at least he came out to say he sorry!!!!!

yolanda   July 21st, 2009 6:22 pm ET

he'll never change...I do not believe him ....

Chantal   July 21st, 2009 6:31 pm ET

I don't buy it.
Just look at the picture of Rhianna's face all black and blue from him hittig her.

Avery   July 21st, 2009 10:11 pm ET

He looks very disingenuous, no emotion or feeling, just reading line for line off the teleprompter. He should be in jail for what he did to Rihanna. Anyone (man) who has the capacity to snap on on any given person (a women) and beat the living daylights out of them, for whatever insignificant reason, is a danger to society. If he were a dog, he'd be put down!

Uso   July 21st, 2009 11:51 pm ET

He probably thought he was bigger than he is and thought that everyone would forgive him but after 3 months realized that nobody is missing him and could care less about his music.

Wearing a Red shirt (like MJ did) and trying to look sincere like MJ did when he spoke to the world in regards to the child molestation charges.

Only difference is MJ was much much much larger than Chris Brown and we (the fans of MJ) believed his apology.

Nice try Chris.

Chris Brown is sooooooo sorry.....sorry he got caught.....celebrities need to understand.....they are responsible to the public for their big mouths, drug and alcohol use, women beating behavior. The public pays your salary....the public can fire you....Chris Brown you are fired.

Jame   July 22nd, 2009 10:35 am ET

Terry, TX and Uso~

You are so right!

No one cares what his favorite color is in fact I don't think anyone even knew he was still around. His "career" is over and only a handful of you will support him. The rest of the world could care less.

Avery   August 6th, 2009 10:10 pm ET

Jenny, you ignant! Sorry to break it to you but you are wrong. Most people do not do stuff like that to people ever. Only really ugly , really ignorant people who have really small hearts (and brains), with no conscience and skills do such criminal acts.

It doesn't surprise me though that Chris Brown is capable of doing such a thing to another human being because he doesn't have God love and light in his eyes, he looks dead inside, exihibiting no depth or compassion. I'll pray for him, you Jenny and Karl to obtain enlightenment! Amen

Chris is a 20 yr.old child, he made a mistake and he's taking it maturely. We all make mistakes.
