Thank you so much Larry for spending as much time on Michael as you have done over the past days. To be honest I wasn't a big fan of yours prior to this (although I did enjoy watching occasionally) but you have really impressed me with your coverage now. Thank you for being so respectful and genuine in your interviews and approach-I am sure the family values your friendship and coverage. I am also sure that Michael himself would be very happy with what you and your team have done. Thank you again-it means so much to this HUGE Canadian Michael fan currently working in Tokyo. I stayed up all night to watch CNN and am so glad I did-to watch you and Anderson debrief afterwards was very healing for me. All the best from your new biggest fan:) Sian

I thought what Shela Jackson-Lee said was so moving and great. Why hasnt anyone commented on what she said?

MICHAEL   July 8th, 2009 12:02 am ET

WHERE IS LATOYA ?

BRENDABELL TONG   July 8th, 2009 12:03 am ET

Michael you opened the eyes of many of us who were not born in America. I use to think America was a white mans land, until I was told you are a black American. Thanks for opening my eyes that wide through music and love for human nature.

Gemma   July 8th, 2009 12:04 am ET

Hi Larry, finally, seems the people now understand the real human Micheal Jackson. The memorial was touchy and moving. I couldn't stop crying as I watch the service. What I don't fully understand is that why reporters and journalists focus so much on "sleeping in bed with young boys". That didn't bother me at all because I came from a different culture where adults sleeping in same bed with close friends who are young boys/girls are acceptable. We don't give any malice on that at all. Happens all the time in South East Asia.

Mario Rosa   July 8th, 2009 12:06 am ET

With his death, a part of my childhood died. I cherished the memories I had as a small kid watching Michael doing the Moonwalk. Nothing that I can say can add to what has been said but I'll say it anyway: Michael, thanks for all the memories, you inspired more people than you could imagine in more ways that you could imagine. You may have passed on but your music will forever be and thus, you will never be truly dead. You'll live on in each of us. You may not have known all of us but we surely knew you. I hope now you can finally be at peace.

Leila   July 8th, 2009 12:06 am ET

The world's ambivalence is now being tested.

Theresa   July 8th, 2009 12:11 am ET

Does anyone believe Michael's fading skin was a message...we are all equal and one, color is just that...a color...and it is not skin deep!

Ryan   July 8th, 2009 12:11 am ET

Every decade has brought us an Artist who has changed the face of music... few were Legends. This decade the only thing that happened... we lost a Legend that changed the music.
R.I.P. Michael, you will be forever missed, and forever celebrated.

derwin   July 8th, 2009 12:12 am ET

Michael is the best at what he's ever done period there is nothing to question there is nothing to doubt show your respect to the KING

carol   July 8th, 2009 12:14 am ET

From Kingston Jamaica...when i first got news of michaels death, i went into a day and a half of depression, taday after watching his funeral it finally hit home that he is really GONE TOO SOON.

Leah   July 8th, 2009 12:14 am ET

All the "Billy Jeans" of the world, that I'm sure are now jockying for position with every media outlet available, PAUSE!

PAUSE to let Michael's children, family, and fans mourn and remember. And when you start accusing/complaining once again, know that his music will always speak louder than you.

Patti Elton   July 8th, 2009 12:14 am ET

I am heartbroken about Michael's death. I am concerned, however, that Michael Jackson protected the identify of his children from their birth by masking, veiling them. Once MJ was gone the identify of his children became very public – why wasn't Michael's wish to keep their identify private – something he obviously thought was very important for the safety of his children.

Chris from cleveland   July 8th, 2009 12:14 am ET

Larry, I spent some time living in Germany competing in NFL Europe. My proudest moment of Michael Jackson, was when a German man recognized that I was an American and was lost. His first comment to me in English was anyone from the same country as Michael Jackson is a friend to me. He walked and talked with me all the way to our destination at the Sony Center in Berlin. Michael Jackson truely allowed an America in a foreign country to be welcomed by native european simply through his love and his music. God Bless you Michael, you helped people all over the world work to love each other just a little bit more.

Jon Jon from the R&B group Troop   July 8th, 2009 12:15 am ET

A true living icon and legend. We will miss you dearly. And everything that you taught us about music and dance. You will always be the King of r&b, rock, pop and soul. And it was a pleasure meeting you. Love you always.

Janet S.   July 8th, 2009 12:16 am ET

Michael Jackson inspired people to be their best. Michael I'll miss you and I love you! Rest in peace.

Debbie Malone   July 8th, 2009 12:16 am ET

I will always cherish the video we have of our son when he was just 6 years old dancing in our garage to Michael's song "Just leave me along". My husband brought his music in our home and we have been blessed for over 20 years.

God Bless Michael and his Family

Arlynn Valembrun 16 y/o   July 8th, 2009 12:16 am ET

Let us not let the memories fade. Let us stand strong like Michael did. He stood on his toes without falling even with the weight that was placed upon him. God put him on this Earth to carry the world when we were too weak. When we were separated because of color and culture, Michael showed us we are not just a world we are THE WORLD.

Crista   July 8th, 2009 12:18 am ET

How do I get a copy of the funeral book

susan Bruening   July 8th, 2009 12:18 am ET

Can we please forego all the logos and banners, at least for the memorial. 1/3 of the screen is covered by logos. We know we're watching CNN.

Christina Carey   July 8th, 2009 12:18 am ET

I just wanted to say thank you to the Jackson Family for sharing his memorial service with the world. Please know that he is and will always be loved now and forever. RIP MJ Thank you for my happiest childhood memories dancing and singing your songs, and I am happy that since the day my 12 year old daughter was born I have shared your music with her. You will be missed dearly but never forgotten...Love Always

Misty Boivin   July 8th, 2009 12:19 am ET

The voices of angels in heaven are far more sweeter now with him.

Irene Carlson   July 8th, 2009 12:21 am ET

Dear Larry,

Thank you for your excellent coverage of the late great Michael Jackson and Family. I can always count on you for intelligent and intuitive interviewing.

The King of Pop is King of Kings!

I pray to God that He bless Wonderful Michael, and that He bestow multitudes of great miracles on the whole Jackson Family.

Monyette M. 28, Bristol, Pennsylvania   July 8th, 2009 12:21 am ET

Hi Larry. First I wanna say your interview with Jermaine was awesome, I love watching you and you have done so well. Second, I play the lottery alot, I have been playing my daddys birthday since he passed away and I have been hitting it alot in the four digit. I have been playing the 7's also because I found his 3-finger ring and it has 3 7's on it, but I never hit that. But that looks like luck up there and its amazing to look at it that way. Im going to play the 7's again for a while. Maybe Ill play his birthday also since its so close to my oldest son. He is August 22. Oh and another thing, Michael Jackson is a Virgo just like me....((SMILES))..Did you figure those numbers out Larry...WOW..

stephanie soukup   July 8th, 2009 12:22 am ET

I was just playing his music on my piano 2 days before his passing... this is something i never did before... to subconsciously pick up energy or vibes like that, tells me that we really are "all one"

What a beautiful memorial celebration! I didn't want it to end

Paulette   July 8th, 2009 12:26 am ET

It was summed up in the three words Usher used Michael is gone too soon

Latrice Davenport   July 8th, 2009 12:26 am ET

Micheal Jackson was the greatest artist on earth. He's presents made us all to beleive that we can achieve whatever we wanted to do. I hope his memory will be justified and that we can respect the man, who made it possible to be the man or woman in the mirror. That means allot to me. Be the man in the mirror and make that change.

Arlie   July 8th, 2009 12:26 am ET

watched the memorial today as millions of others did............if there is an afterlife Michael must have smiled when he heard his young daughter affirm what a good father he was ................he had succeeded in his life on earth!!! I feel that this was his priority in life and he will be remembered by one and all RIP

Darline fom New Jersey   July 8th, 2009 12:27 am ET

I was hurting, but I did not realize how painful it was until I see my husband wiping tears from his eyes.

Cynthia Johnson   July 8th, 2009 12:27 am ET

Michael, you truly are an angel. I love you.

john   July 8th, 2009 12:28 am ET

God instills gifts in all of us so that we could be a light in this troubling world! For those of us who need peace, to feel love, to be touched deep within our hearts and to live our life with if just with a whisper of hope, Michael Jackson and his gift for touching others through his music and his kindred soul did exactly that. Thank you God, and thank you Michael.

Debbie Malone   July 8th, 2009 12:29 am ET

If we all put on half as much time as Michael caring for others, this world would truly be a better place for all. It's sad such a special and loving heart is no longer with us, but I thank God his up there looking over us. This world needs his heart in heaven... I think his having his own celebration in heaven with some of the great ones, Elvis, Gerald Levert, Luther Vandross just to name a few. I can't wait till I'm called to join them and have the blessing of hearing them sing in heaven. Wow what a wonderful peace they must all have found.

sanaQ   July 8th, 2009 12:31 am ET

Thank you for all the music you contributed to Pop culture/the world.
Very sorry for the loss of the Jackson family especially his 3 children.
I hope the custody battle goes well..J.Jackson would be a good choice 🙂
RIP Micheal Jackson....(Bittersweet Smiles)

Denise   July 8th, 2009 12:32 am ET

Michael was a star that shined so brightly, he bought joy and love to the world and he will be greatly missed. I love you Michael!

Desiree   July 8th, 2009 12:32 am ET

God made the earth in 7 days. Michael was a gift from God. Thank you God for sharing him with us. I only pray that I too will be a member of that Heavenly choir he is now directing. My love to the Jackson family and those beautiful, sweet children.

LAYI OLADAPO   July 8th, 2009 12:32 am ET

He was the best, the very BEST.

NJ   July 8th, 2009 12:32 am ET

HE IMPACTED OUR WORLD IN WAYS NONE BEFORE HIM HAS DONE AND HE WILL BE MISSED AND REMEMBERED IN ALL GENERATIONS.

Tari Stanbrough   July 8th, 2009 12:32 am ET

I remember Michael as a child on American Bandstand !!! He will always live on in my HEART !!! God Bless His Family and Children.

Erv22   July 8th, 2009 12:33 am ET

I will always remember Michael as the start I once wanted to be. I remember when Smooth Criminal was first aired on MTV. I saw those moves and for the longest time I tried to imitate but was unable to. Today I realized that no one can ever imitate him or in any way come close to achieve what he has achieved. He set the standard for what an entertainer should be and should do. Aside from that I think he was a real human being. He had a heart of gold. His legacy shall long live and his humanitarian heart will always grow bigger because his body may have stopped breathing but his soul never did. "We are the World" Thanks for such a great anthem, Thanks for letting us see that it is true that we hold the key for a better world. May you now Rest In Peace and may you enjoy now being a child at heart. Now Rock the heavens because now God wanted you to do the moonwalk for him.

God Bless you and Bless your Kids and Family.

Juanita   July 8th, 2009 12:33 am ET

Wow, the #7. 7 biblically speaking represents perfection or completion. He was truly a gift from God and will be greatly missed.

Jeremy   July 8th, 2009 12:33 am ET

MJ wasn't just a role model , but he was a message to the world of equality

Beverly Hamilton   July 8th, 2009 12:34 am ET

Larry:

I have often watched your award winning program, but not until tonight, after watching the Michael Jackson Tribuite this afternoon, have I cried since my husband died in 1979,

I am from Nashville, TN. and along with the passing of our wonderful Steve McNair and or beloved Michael Joseph Jackson we are all praying for the souls of our beloveds.

May God Bless our Country, our Beloved and our World, as Michael would say.

Regards,

Beverly G Hamilton

I am heartbroken about Michael’s death. I am concerned, however, that MICHAEL JACKSON PROTECTED THE IDENTIFY OF HIS CHILDREN FROM THEIR BIRTH BY MASKING AND VEILING THEM. ONCE MJ WAS GONE THE IDENTIFY OF HIS CHILDREN BECAME VERY PUBLIC. WHY WASN'T MICHAEL'S WISH TO KEEP THEIR IDENTIFY PRIVATE – SOMETHING HE OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT WAS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE SAFETY OF HIS CHILDREN, HONORED?

For MJ fatherhood family and helping others was first of all

Irene Carlson   July 8th, 2009 12:35 am ET

Michael was a wonderful charismatic, creative genuis. His only shortcoming was that he was too kind gentle, and giving for this world.

Linda Curtin   July 8th, 2009 12:37 am ET

Michael was not of this world, he was in this world. He is now at home.

Sue   July 8th, 2009 12:38 am ET

What can I say......your coverage of Michael Jackson's memorial service is phenominal. No matter what is said about a person on this earth their sins commited on this earth is between that person and their God. I chose to believe he's innocent. I've watched all of your coverage and interviews done with Michael over the years and when I watch him I see innocence, a victim of our media frenzy society. A society who loves you when you're at the top until the green eye of jealousy rears it"s ugly head and then like a pack of greedy buzzards we jump on the first ugly thing thrown out on the pavement. We try to devour them whole because of it. But back to the memorial service. It was done with total class, love and made you feel like you were there and a part of the grieving family. I felt connected to his whole family I found myself wishing I could hug all of them and bring them comfort. And for Michael's children oh my what lovely children and I just know they are as lovely inside as they are outside. Paris was wonderful and proved then and there that those three children are well balalnced, well loved and without a doubt belong with Katherine Jackson and her extended family. There is no doubt in my mind that Michael loved his children and you keep asking what Michael's legacy will be. To me it's obvious.......His children. Children are the best legacy any of us can leave behind when God calls us home. His music is wonderful and I love it all from the beginning of his career to the present. I even has a crush on him when it was an extremely big no, no in society. I am less than a year younger than Michael and I thought he was the cutest guy on stage when we were kids all the way up through our young adult years. Then when he started making changes in his appearance I didn't feel repulsion towards him my heart broke for him I just knew our society did this to him, a young man who seemed to have so much going for him but he was as unsure of himself as many of the rest of us in this and he experienced the same harsh pain we all have at one time or another because of our outer shells. In parting I want to say thanks Larry for your honest coverage and your listening heart. I'm impressed with you because of your heart and not jumping onto the "garbage media truck" just to get ratings. I feel that you are one of the few people involved in our media that wants the truth and not the sensationalism. Thanks Larry and keep of the great work!!

Zamuzi   July 8th, 2009 12:38 am ET

Americans' love for MJ is nothing compared to the love that people have for him around the world.

Cynthia Johnson   July 8th, 2009 12:38 am ET

Michael, you truly are an angel. You will forever be the King. I love you.

Marcie   July 8th, 2009 12:39 am ET

Michael, you've meant so much in my life, and the life of others. My first cassette, yes, I know, cassette, was "Bad" and my favorite song was "Man in the Mirror" because it explained how my life was at the time and how it is now. You ARE music and always will be, no matter what people say. I'll be there for you, always. May others find your kindness and feel the love you have given to me and to everyone else in the world.

God bless both you and your family

Twana Ware   July 8th, 2009 12:39 am ET

Did anyone else feel as if he had choreograghed some of his memorial service or was is just me? With Michael's singers and dancers actually doing a lot of his tour performance I just believe that God fixed this so that Michael would have a hand in his own service. It was befitting a King. It was an outstanding memorial service and I hope it will be sold on a dvd so I can buy and look at whenever I want. With 3 generations of us watching it today together and crying it was just unbelieveable. This memorial service was done in such a professional and personal way that it made you feel connected to the Jackson Family. May God continue to bless each of them.

gwen from winnipeg   July 8th, 2009 12:39 am ET

I just went out and hung a gold cresent moon in my backyard with a yellow rose...Smile..

Rachel R   July 8th, 2009 12:40 am ET

It seems that for so long Michael looked everywhere for peace to fill his life. He looked for it in his music hits, Neverland creation, his charity work around the world, children he surrounded himself with...yet he never seeemed to have found it as turmoil always seemed to haunt him somewhere. Maybe now he will be in peace, maybe now he may find the peace he so long searched for in his living life. RIP Michael We will never forget you and your gifts.

Rainy   July 8th, 2009 12:40 am ET

I am 1 of the millions of fans that followed the life and career of Michael Jackson. When I heard the news of his passing all I could do was slump in my seat and say "God no, not Michael". If I could say anything to the media and the world at large it would be to please, please, please let Michael's spirit rest in peace, everyone hounded him in life,so please let him be at rest.

amanda   July 8th, 2009 12:43 am ET

Leila   July 8th, 2009 12:44 am ET

Michael was able to express the longings in our mortal souls in the songs that he wrote

Barbara   July 8th, 2009 12:44 am ET

To the Jackson family and the whole world:

The memorial to Michael today was deeply moving. The only thing missing was the recognition of what his life really demonstrated: It was what HE REVEALED that was beyond the physical, beyond gender. It was the Higher Reality that is intrinsic in every soul: The True Oneness of the male/female in all of us and that which is beyond all superficial racial divide in every soul.

His life was a clear illustration of that Spritual Reality which will always lie beyond the reach of verbal expression, but its Truth can and will, sooner or later be EXPERIENCED by one and all.

Michael, you carried the torch, the Light, not only in your music, but in every action, word and deed.

I thank you for your Life – so Divinely guided.

Barbara

Amanda   July 8th, 2009 12:44 am ET

It's my turn to look at the man in the mirror ...

talat   July 8th, 2009 12:45 am ET

Michael gone too soon

Sonja B.   July 8th, 2009 12:45 am ET

I'm so grateful to the Jackson family for allowing the world to see the memorial service. After all Michael has been through and suffered through the media, it would have been understandable for them to choose to privately mourn and bury their loved one. It was an awesome service and it still didn't TOTALLY capture person that the world dearly loved. Michael will forever be remembered, celebrated and missed. FINALLY RIP MJ!

FOR FIGHTING AND SEEING THROUGH ALL OF THE NEGATIVITY ATTACHED TO YOU AND STILL FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT. THANK YOU! FOR BRINGING US TOGETHER. THANK YOU! FOR BEING AUTHENTIC. THANK YOU! FOR BEING ONE OF THE MOST CARING PEOPLE THAT THIS WORLD HAS EVER SEEN. THANK YOU! FOR SEEING THROUGHT IT ALL. THANK YOU! FOR BEING A HUGE PART IN BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS IN THE BEGINNING OF AND THROUGHOUT YOUR CAREER THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN PUT UP IN THE FIRST PLACE. THANK YOU! FOR BLESSING ME WITH THE OPPURTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO WATCH YOUR VERY WELL DESERVED MEMORIAL IN WHICH I AM WATCHING NOW AS I WRITE. I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE BEEN THEIR, AT ANY COST, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE CHOSEN TO ATTEND. THANK YOU! FOR BLESSING THE WORLD WITH AN ENERGY THAT HAS ALLOWED EVERYONE FROM BIKERS TO BILLIE JEANS, SMOKERS TO SMOOTH CRIMINALS, & DANCERS TO DIRTY DIANA'S TO UNITE AND FORGET HATE FOR EVEN JUST A FEW MINUTES WHEN YOUR MUSIC COMES ON. ALTHOUGH & UNFORTUNATELY AT A GREAT COST, THANK YOU! FOR TODAY, JULY 7, 2009, WHICH AGAIN BECAUSE OF YOU, HAS BROUGHT PEOPLE OF EVERY COLOR, RACE, ETHNITICITY, BACKGROUND, AND CULTURE TOGETHER FOR JUST A LITTLE WHILE TO UNITE AND BRING JOY, JUST THE WAY YOU WOULD HAVE WANTED, AND WORKED SO HARD YOUR ENTIRE LIFE TO DO SO. THANK YOU! FOR BEING THE BEST AT YOUR CRAFT AND RESPECTING IT AT ALL COSTS. THANK YOU! FOR BEING ONE OF THE HUGE INFLUENCES IN PROVING TO ME THAT, IF YOU WANT IT, YOU CAN HAVE IT, BUT IF YOU DONT GO AFTER IT, AT ALL COSTS AND THROUGH ALL STRUGGLES, YOU DONT DESERVE IT. THANK YOU MICHAEL JACKSON...THANK YOU! FOR TEACHING HOW TO BE AND REMAIN HUMBLE NO MATTER WHAT HEIGHTS YOU MAY REACH. THANK YOU! FOR TEACHING ME AND THE WORLD THAT RECEIVING AND HAVING MORE IS A REASON TO ONLY GIVE MORE BACK. UNFORTUNATELY, NOT AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU WISH, ACTUALLY LISTEN AND APPLY THOSE CHANGES IN THEIR LIVES. THANK YOU! FOR TEACHING ME AND THE WORLD HOW TO FORGIVE, FOR EVEN THE WORST. THANK YOU MICHAEL JACKSON! THANK YOU!

YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED, REMEMBERED & APPRECIATED.

What a tribute to Michael Jackson, a peaceful soul, to have such a peaceful congregation of support. His legacy will be his music & his heart which was big enough for the whole world.

glenn nelson   July 8th, 2009 12:46 am ET

Larry, MJ was a fabulous entertainer, not the greatest ever, I think Mr. Gordy got carried away. Larry, isn't time to get back to the real world, the important stuff, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, the economy. Holy cow Larry, Princess Di's wake didn't go on like this and neither did your pal Ronnie Regan. Please, please, please Larry, my Michael Rest In Peace, AMEN, but let's go on.

sheila   July 8th, 2009 12:46 am ET

Thank You Michael Jackson ..

I love you Michael Jackson. I am smiling up at you tonight as much of the world is looking for you in the moon and the stars. My heart is thanking you for bringing the music of my childhood to life filled with sweet memories like my first kiss under my grandmother Mary’s large tree” in front of her home when I was sweet 16 and the song playing was “ “Never can say Goodbye and the days I felt alone and heard you sing “Ben” it made me feel better not alone in my teenage life growing up. The memory of my high school boyfriend and my first dance with him at our high school dance to “The Girl is Mine”, The day of my wedding as we all tried to dance like you to all your songs and celebrated our new life…and the death of my father James as we played “ You are not alone “ was my fathers message as he passed. When you came on TV or I was out all we needed to hear was your voice and watch you dance you had us all up moving and smiling no one could do that no one but you. Every song you would sing brings joy to my heart a tear of sadness to even think you are gone…. you gave me a scrapbook of my life though your music and your songs to remember my life by they where all good and happy memories of a life I have been blessed to have and live every day. Having those songs to keep those memories alive brings joy to me. I did not know you but I loved you because your sweetness and love for the world. Tonight I am smiling up at you and knowing that you are with us all always. Thank You Michael thank You this is not Good bye this is just the start of a new life for you and us. You simply where the BEST and no one ever will fill those shoes.

Love Always, Susie

Michael! you will remain in my soul forever.

kimmie   July 8th, 2009 12:46 am ET

What a somber day! Michael was a genius in everything from music, dance and humanitarisim, but more importantly he was a father, a very good one to his three children. May God bless his mother, father, brothers and sisters and may God hold his children close and continue to watch over them.

THE ENTIRE WORLD LOST A VERY GOOD SOUL AND AS EVERYONE SAID DURING THE MEMORIAL TODAY, MICHAEL WILL BE WITH US FOREVER!

Godspeed be with you Michael.

Kenneth Shyne   July 8th, 2009 12:46 am ET

All I can say is I truly feel like Micheal Jackson left the world in a better place than when he first arrived. we love you Micheal......

Robby   July 8th, 2009 12:46 am ET

My sincere condolences to the family.
Larry do you think, after watching the service today and his daughter Paris, the people that blamed Micheal on those charges would come forward and confess (ever) that they did it for the MONEY?
Very sad, I believe in one thing "What goes around, Comes Around"
Cheers

All of those sevens cannot be written off as coincidences, NO WAY.
It's all about destiny, predestined

I think Janet would be a fabulous person to care for Michael's children. For now, I am sure they are being well taken care of, but what a great choice she would be. I wonder if she will be able to talk soon about her brother and the kid's? Larry, you need to have her on soon.....

Rhonda   July 8th, 2009 12:47 am ET

I was reading the comment about the 7's and I too have figured out some of that. That number is not very lucky for me. It's just weird that I'm not the only one who noticed it. As for the Jackson family, my heart goes out to you. I'm going to miss Michael, but he will forever live in his music...R.I.P MJ

The death of micheal jackson was trajic, my mum's tears were proof of that. Micheal jackson's connection with his fans wern't fake it wasn't money, power, or fame, it was his personality. May his spirit live on in his music, and in our hearts.

Tammy   July 8th, 2009 12:47 am ET

I can not think of but one other person whom suffered in this life and that was Jesus. May MJ sit on Jesus's right hand now. I know he will be able to heal the world on Jesus's team.

Daniel Horowitz   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

Today was a really impressive moment for me. I never thought a pop star would affect me as much as michael and seeing how his life was played out was amazing. The memorial was extremely touching and i feel terrible for his family. It was a great moment though to show what an incredible and caring person he was. One of a kind who could never be replaced or forgotten.

vennyb   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

I believe that being a Jehovahs Witness the family should have shared some of their beliefs. They should have shared the true meaning of the sciptures mentioned in the program.

Gordon J Blacknell   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

Michael was my classmate back in 1971 at Emerson Jr. High
and LaToya was inmy brother's History class. He and I used to talk before
our English class in the hall (Mrs Seib was our teacher), often we were the first ones waiting at
the door to get in the class. I was even quieter than he was so he
always used to come to me and start a conversation. One conversation in
particular I recall was we I invited him to my church and told him that
I played th piano after he told me he sang (as if I did not know) but I
never let on that I knew how popular he was (I did not want to
patronize him) besides I thought I was just as talented, just not as
well off though (smile) Yours Gordon Blacknell of Los Angeles

pam-nebraska   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

Michael will always be a part of my life. My prayers and wishes go out to the whole Jackson family. May God bless you and give you the strength to get through this difficult time.

AJade   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

I was astounded by the crowd-the love felt by everyone throughout the world for MJ. How come no one says anything about MJ's youngest child? It is as though that child does not exist. Please include him, too.

Barbara Babbitt   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

It was honor and a privilege to have Michael Jackson and his music in my life. I was touched by the memorial and watched every minute of it. God Bless the King of Pop and his family. He lives on in his music.

Loris Mom   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

"You Are Not Alone" – the song that kept me going in many dark nights after my daughter passed away 12 years ago – I know how you feel Katheryn – God Bless You and the three Children and family.

Jackie   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

Thanks for sharing this moment with the world for those like me who could not be in attendance. I have been a huge fan of Michael's since I was a child. I can remember getting grounded from watching the movie American Dream: The Jacksons because I would watch it on a daily basis. I would tape any and everything on television that dealt with Michael Jackson. He is and will always be the King of Pop and can never be replaced. I can't help but smile because of the way he changed the world of music and because of his many contributions. The world will never be the same and I am going to make a conscious effort to make sure that my future children know how great he was.

Becky Beam   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

What a wonderful tribute to a great man. Michael Jackson will live on forever. I am confident that Michael will watch over his children and the Good Lord will help guide the family thru the coming weeks and months.
RIP Michael

Teresa   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

Todays service was very fitting. For once Michael Jackson was displayed as a human being with a huge talent. Not a savior or some super hero but simply a son, brother and father. I salute his mother but I also salute his father. In the late 50's/60's with nine children say what you want but there were several fathers who did not stay or try to provide for their children

weasel33s   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

I thought that the memorial was one of the most special events of our time. It was really emotional for me. I have loved Michael Jackson ever since I was five. My prayers are really with his family. Thank you Michael for your extraordinary impact on changing the world with your music. See you in heaven.

Stephanie Simmons   July 8th, 2009 12:48 am ET

When I was a little girl I had a small record player...one of the first 45's I ever played was from Michael Jackson....I had he biggest crush on him. He was so adorable..I had posters of him on my wall in my bedroom. He was so sweet and innocent and I am very sad that he is gone. Thank you for the memories Michael....

Kevin & Thuy   July 8th, 2009 12:49 am ET

As fans of Michael Jackson and parents we wept at the tribute that Paris made to her father. Never have so few words touched so many hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his children and the whole Jackson family.

Pamela Benson Owens   July 8th, 2009 12:49 am ET

One thing I think people have missed about Michael Jackson is that he actually responded to a world that ridiculed him in a way that was against human nature. He wrote a song about human nature, but his reactions to how people treated him was not the usual.

I have always believed that hurting people hurt people. MJ was most certainly hurt by the ridicule and harsh criticism of this world, but he didn't do what human nature would dictate. He faced the world with an unconditional love and a spirit of forgiveness that we can all learn from.

Vongxay   July 8th, 2009 12:49 am ET

Bill Handle from KFI radio needs to make a public apologyu for his display of disrepect to the Jackson family and every artist that performed at the memorial. It was clearly evident that he didn't want to report on the event and made it painfully obvious everytime he opened his mouth. perhaps he should quit or perhaps be fired. If he doesn't make a public apology then i will write letters to every sponsor that pays to advertise on KFI Radio and tell each sponsor if they conitnue to support this sort of commentary i will never purchase there products again.

I love Michael Jackson. Ive been listening to him since I was a little girl. I am now 24 years old. The first time I heard Michael was when my family was having a garage sale when I was about 7 and my uncle brought over some tapes to sell. He told me I could pick two for free. One of them was Michaels Dangerous tape. I fell in love. I had it with me where ever I went playing on my walkman. As I got older I heard more and more of his songs and was always interested in everything he did. My favorite movie was Wizard of Oz and when I saw The Wiz playing on VH1 I was so excited that two of my favorite things were on one show 🙂 Michael, I know you dont personally know alot of your fans but I would like you to know that you changed my life and your music made me so happy and excited everytime I heard it. I danced to it and encouraged others to dance to it. You will be missed and I cant believe your gone so soon. Love you!

Rachel M.   July 8th, 2009 12:50 am ET

I fell in love with Michael Jackson and his music when I was eleven when I watched the 30th anniversary show! I remember thinking he is amazing performer. After I bought most of his cds and music videos and realized that my favorite music video was thriller. Since then his music has been a part of my life so when i realized he passed and even now it feels like someone punched me. I dont just feel sad because a great entertainer died, i feel sad bc he was a wonderful person who has always inspired me! I cannot imagine the families pain and time will heal! We must most importantly remember that Michael was human, and so is the Jacksons and all other celebrities, we should start treating them that way! I think that you, Larry, are good at that, but some of the other newscasters treat his death, at times, like it is a linguistic problem, with no feeling, just very flat and unfeeling! I appreciate your respect for Michael's death, that's probably why you got invited to sit with the family, because they trusted you!

Bessie   July 8th, 2009 12:50 am ET

I grew up with M.J's music and life storys and i love M.j and the Jackson family I also buy his music

I remember listening to Michael Jackson, and how he influenced my brother and I to have a talent show in our back yard. Our opening song was "Ben", After Michael passed away, it brought back memories of my brother and I trying to immitate his song to our family and friends. We were so young, but thanks Michael for the memory!! Rest In Peaces and God Bless Your Children.

After this long day has no one noticed that it has ended in a beautiful full moon? What does that say about Michael's contribution and what we should do next?

Alexander M Brouwer   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

Dear Michael Jackson, Rest In Peace.
You did so much, you were hurt so much and never stopped caring.
Your life is over, but you will never be forgotten EVER!!!

May your family and friends unite and remain close and in peace. To your Mother specially, there is nothing like the loss of a son ever and only god and your loved ones can heal your wound. He is loved the world over in death forever...

To your kids, specially your older daughter, may god grant you the strength to live and to be happy and to endure all the things you will with god's protection and love. I lost my mom to cancer almost 5 years ago and I never forgot her, nor her presence and love and advices.

Your dad will never be too far from you. His love will always shine upon you. I wish you strength and happiness and peace in your futures.

God bless you all,

Sincerely,

Watching the Memorial Service today I went through two boxes of tissues as if I were mourning the loss of a family member. He was my childhood idol, a musicial genius, and a true humanitarian in evey sense of the word. His passion for his music, gift of rhythm and love of life is incomparable with any other artists I've seen in my short two decades of living. I am so gratefult to have witnessed even a short while of his long legacy. He truly was "gone too soon," but i do believe his music and spirit will live on forever. Unlike so many artists today, he wrote many of his songs-songs that had messages to shape our core values, messages that made a difference in our society, messages that brought together people from all over the world. I love Michael and I'm sure millions of people around the world agree as Smokie Robinson put it that "he will live on forever and ever."

Judith   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

Today, I sat perched on my bed watching this tastful and elegant memorial for the WORLD'S GREATEST ENTERTAINER. I grew up with the Jackson Five music and I always thought of Michael as my boyfriend. (as young girls we all had a favourite Jackson) . I sang, danced and cried watching the entire celebration.

He will be missed but his music lives on.

Prophetess Tammy   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

To the Jackson Family, My heart goes out to you all, Thank you for sharing your gift (Michael) with us all. He has a great reward for all his LOVE and compassion that was given to the whole wide world, he will shine forth in all the hearts of man on every contenient across the globe. He was a brother to me in spirit and I will miss him, his music and his smile..... What a Jewel, May God bless you all, Keep the FAITH..... Tammy
P.S. I LOVE YOU MORE

Cory Beck   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

I had just recently started showing Micheal's videos to my children and they just like myself they were amazed by them. We we had heard the news about his death my son took it pretty hard. This is when it struck me on the influence he had on the world. To have a 9 year old boy get upset with the passing of some one he only watched on the internet has to tell us all something about the man. Micheal you will be missed by all generations. I hope you find the peace you so dearly deserved.

Sending a warm thank you to Michael Jackson for giving such a treasure chest of music that will continue to live on forever. God bless the Jackson family now and always.

Lori   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

I was madly in love with Michael Jackson from the time I was 5 years old; I used to wear his button on my shirt to school every day. I am deeply saddened by his death and couldn't care less about all of the drama and judgment placed upon him....I have only positive thoughts of him, now and always..

Zamuzi   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

Michael was a source of inspiration for black entertainers.

Jam   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

A very befitting memorial service for one so talented and admired by all.

Kathie F. Texas   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

We are the World that needs healing and through the energy doing MJ's memorable memorial, it healed all our hearts. RIP MJ, you are truly loved.... Bless the Jackson's family.....Kathie in Texas

Asma   July 8th, 2009 12:52 am ET

The Memorial service for Michael Jackson was absolutely beautiful and very touching. My prayers are for his parents, siblings, family members and especially his children. I sincerely hope people will listen to his music, in fact listen to the words in his songs and feel his emotions as he sung them. Then you can really imagine what he was going through and how he felt. We have no right to judge anyone for their actions in this world, that should be left up to God, but we should remember Michael for all he did in his short life, he was a gift from God and has returned to God. We should look at ourselves and try to make a difference as he sought out to do. It is not fair to ridicule him for his short comings, we all have faults in our life that we are not happy with but we need to remember the good. How many people do we know who would give millions in the name of charity for kids, the sick and less fortunate…

“You will be missed terribly Michael, thank you for your gift of song and entertainment May Allah be with you always and may you rest in peace now til Judgement Day!”

Thank you,
Asma

Shpresa   July 8th, 2009 12:53 am ET

Love You,

Rhonda Howell   July 8th, 2009 12:53 am ET

Today's memorial service for Michael Jackson was the most sincere heartfelt service I have ever witnessed. I was overcome by the emotions of everyone in attendance and feel that the comments made by those who knew Michael personally were a true witness to the wonderful man and humanitarian he was. I am so grateful that the world was able to hear comments from friends and family of Michael who knew the man he was and who could attest to his true character. Maybe now the tabloids will lay off and let Michael Jackson rest in peace, not just because it is the right thing to do, but because Michael Jackson deserves it. God bless the Jackson family and may Michael's memory and wonderful humanitarian acts live on forever in history! He was truly a wonderful man!

Amy Franklin   July 8th, 2009 12:53 am ET

I would like to tell his mom she raised a wonderful son and he was amazing to watch. As a mother, I saw the true son, she raised. All her children seem amazing and I am sure she is going going to love his children as her own. The family is in my thoughts and prayers and God is with them. Michael will always be there. I lost a brother 2 years ago, there heart will always feel pain and they will always miss him but will be with him soon.

Lindy   July 8th, 2009 12:53 am ET

This memorial let many of us 'know a Michael' that we never knew. I am from a generation older than Michael, and I too, share the grief that I have seen from generations decades younger – his songs had beautiful messages; he really did teach us all how to live with one another. Let this be what we all remember – for him, for his family and most of all for his children. Paris, his daughter, mesmerized a world in only a few seconds – she knew him in the way that matter most – as a superior father they all loved. Let us never take that away. God Bless all the Jackson family. God Bless Michael.

Penny Morris   July 8th, 2009 12:53 am ET

To be granted one wish... that Michael had lived to see how important he was to us... his fellows on planet earth. It was in death that many of us realized the space he occupied... that is now empty...

ajay Sharma   July 8th, 2009 12:54 am ET

Michael deeply loved his children. He was very protective of them and appears that he never left them alone. He was always with them...his children was his life and I only hope that the Jackson family understands this and really take care of those 3 wonderful kids.

STEVE RAMSEY   July 8th, 2009 12:54 am ET

hi lary
Just want to send my condoleses nto jacson family and let them know that MJ needs one thing now .......he needs our prayers, we must all stand for few second around the world and pray for 20 seconds in all kind of prayers to God, allah, jahova, yahowa to show that with prayers can give the respect and peace to his soul.

My second comment is to the senator republican who bash MJ with unfounded acusations on TV and to tell him that if you are true christean follow what jesus said let those among you who without sin cast the first stone, when you close your hand and point a finger to MJ 3 fingers will point back to you.
May God bless his soul.

Michael's death is so devasting and definitely he died too young. I remember dancing in the school yard to his music. My daughter, who is now 26, also grew up listening to Michael's music because I have almost all of his music. I thought she would wear the VHS of Moonwalker out. That was in 1988 and she just ordered another copy of the tape. He definitely will not be forgotten. Personally, I feel he has been an inspiration to people of all age groups.

I am deeply honored to be mentioned. I am truly gonna miss his attitude, never letting up. I felt like part of me has been removed. It just hurts ya know. I practically grew up with the guy.
I feel that no matter how it is Mike would expect us to move on and continue to live and enjoy what God had given us. Smile as Brooke so painfully pointed out. Just smile.
I will truly miss hearing about that guy. He reallly took that media to a level they didn't expect.
All I feel right now is that part of my life also has been taken away from me. His songs will always live on and nobody can ever take that away. Heck I have heard it for so long I should remember every word. LOL.
Goodbye my friend. And my prayers to the Jackson family.

I'm the owner/ceo of Ernest Tubb Record Shops based in Nashville. Our store and mail order house is known world-wide for hard to find traditonal country music. I recall when "Thriller" was released, that recording cross the boundaries of all music that required us to stock his phonomineal recordings in our stores. We've had to once again bring his catalog back. I marvel at the talents, extraordinary life and career of one of the world's most loved human beings in history. This kind gentle soul has touched my heart and life in his own, special unique way. I've cried a million tears today for the loss that is felt deeply in the hearts of all people around the world and thank God for giving to us, a short time to share one of the world's, if not the greatest humanitarians to the world. I've worked in country music for four decades. His works will forever be new...timeless long after our grandchildren are gone. Thank you dear Lord for sharing one of Your
"Crown Jewels" with us but for a short while. I'm so looking forward to meeting him when I get to the other side. Michael, from the bottom of my heart and for all the wonderful people who make up the Ernest Tubb organization, we say in the words of an Ernest Tubb song, ..."Thanks, Thanks A Lot." You're forever in our hearts. I extend on behalf of all the Ernest Tubb Enterpriese family our deepest sympathy to a wonderful family and pray God's comfort and peace will be and remain upon you in the coming days and weeks ahead.

While watching the Memorial Service for Michael Jackson today, I thought, "how nice was this?" I felt that the service was very respectful, reverent and appropriate. I certainly understand sensationalism in news story reporting because it is a form of "infotainment". I do, however, think that the media could have backed off a little with the negativity for ONE day, concentrate on the memorial service (positives) that impacted so many, many people around the world. The man is dead. The accusations are dead (what good can come of it now?) Larry, your coverage was so uplifting and full of class. I watch CNN regularly because of the unbiased reporting. There will always be people that didn't like him, that believed that he did something wrong and can't be persuaded otherwise. It's over. I honestly believe that he was the victim of money hungry parents and others who chose to take advantage of someone who was perhaps more naive than we would ever know. Thanks for allowing the opportunity to share.

Darcy   July 8th, 2009 12:55 am ET

Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Strange... Since I was 2 yrs old back in 1969, the Jackson 5 music were always in me and my family's life. The death of Michael Jackson almost feels like someone in my home or in my family has passed on. I never even knew Michael Jackson, never met him in person, but strange to say... I can almost cry in tears like I did know him. It feels like the earth moved and or split in half....

I'm a jamaican living in Missouri and has ever been a fan of Michael Jackson back when i use to break dance back home in Jamaica. I'm a little concerned about Chris Tucker, and why we havent heard from, or seen him in all of the Michael Jackson memorial and tributes. I know he was real close to him.

Have cried for a week now. Michael was truly an angel. We were lucky to get to see a glimpse of him, and to feel his warmth for a while. I've never known life without him, and as many girls that grew up in my time, he was my first love. He was bigger than this world, and heaven's choir has just got one great upgrade! He's teaching them how to moonwalk down the streets of gold now. His music will live on, and I want to thank God, his mother and father, his brothers and sisters, children, and himself for sharing his loving kindness, music, dance, inspiration, smile, and love of life with us. He will live on in our hearts and in his music forever. Always there.Tasha

MJ's children are in a unique position in that few in the world can even empathize with their feelings surrounding the death of their daddy. Only the untimely death of Princess Diana can compare; I wonder if Princes William and Harry could visit with them to give support and guidance.

Sherine Wells   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

This may be a little bit of topic, but I am curious to the reason why Chris Tucker was "silent", even during these few days leading up Michael Jackson's memorial? Chris Tucker loved Michael and it was proven in many of his films; for instance Rush Hour. Personally, I would love to hear a few word from Chris Tuckers about Michael Jackson. I believe that his words would be more genuine.

Bobby   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

I laid in bed all day and cried my heart out. His death never really hit me until I watched the memorial. My favorite moment has to be when his daughter, Paris Katherine, honored her father for being the best daddy and how much she had loved him. This moment brought many tears down my face. May God bless this family and may Michael soar amongst all other Angels in Heavens' sky.

Arlene Stephens   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

Another suggestion i have is that

disney world and other music companies should honor MJ and make MJ theme park, MJ memorial fund to help the children etc....

To the Jackson family...God smiled on you and all of us for 51 years as He blessed us with one of His most precious...most authentic....most glaring & genuine jewels. I honor the great legacy of the one and only Micheal Joe Jackson! Peace & Blessings!!

Hilda Miles   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

Michael Jackson was One of a Kind. He will be dearly missed by all. God really wanted Him and this proves to show us all that GOD TAKES THE BEST.

Rest In peace Michael Jackson,
King of Pop and The World's Greatest Entertainer!

Keshla   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

Michael is the greatest and respected artist of all time. He never be forgotten. You will remain in our hearts Michael.

CB Weaver   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

I am 60 years old and was mesmerized today as I alternately cried and smiled as I was glued to the scenes from the memorial service.
I cried for our loss and for the things Michael has endured over the years. I have his Moonwalker and Dangerous VHS tapes from the 80's and 90s so you know I have been a fan for a long time. Just as I remember where I was when I heard John Lennon had been killed, so will I remember 25 June 2009. Rest in Peace dear Michael.

Cadet Henderson, CEO, Ministry of Works, Belize, C.A.   July 8th, 2009 12:59 am ET

I am an engineer and a fan of MJ. Wish I see some clips of when fans fainted at his concerts of the 90's. That really punctuated the effect he had on people.

Rich Kuruvilla   July 8th, 2009 1:00 am ET

I am from India and I only knew MJ's name since i was a young kid. My dad used to bring MJ's audio cassettes home..when i first heard his songs...i got addicted and kept on listening to them...The surprising thing is i still have the cassettes from back then with me even now....it will always be with me, so i could remember him and cherish his memories...MJ eventhough you are gone from this world, you will always live in our hearts forever & your music will blossom more and more in the times to come...R.I.P. THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Lisa   July 8th, 2009 1:00 am ET

To the Jackson family. I applaud what Al Sharpton said to Michael's children at the memorial service, those words needed to be spoken while millions of people were listening including the media. Their father wasn't strange what was done to him was. He was their father that I feel the media should take a huge part of the blame for causing many of Michael's emotional and social problems. Please know that there are so many of us that wish we could stop the negative thoughts for his childrens sake. They don't need to hear the negative, he was human. He kept them out of the limelight for this reason, he was their father and loved them more than life itself. If we allow it the media will lead these poor children to have emotional and social problems some day because of all the negativity. So he changed his appearance, so he dressed differently and wore veils...so what, he was unique, eccentric and should be remembered as a great entertainer that touched so many lives. His children need to know that. They need to only hear what a great singer and dancer he was and shouldn't hear the negativity. I applaud Larry King for his sensitivity to Jackson's and most of all his children. If I only had a voice, I promise you I would try to reach every fan, there's millions of us, and have them speak up to stop all negativity about his life for his childrens sake. They shouldn't know of the lawsuits, accusations, drugs, etc. They should remember him as the greatest entertainer of all time to us and to our children's children and so on. They should remember him as the loving father. To them he was dad. He was human. I pray for all of you daily and pray God gives you the guidance to help these children through their grief. God Bless You All. God's received an amazing angel, I can only imagine how he's dancing in heaven!

Marie   July 8th, 2009 1:00 am ET

To the Jackson Family: As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I wish to express my sincerest condolences, and more importantly, the hope for the future of God's Kingdom where all of our sorrows will be a thing of the past, we will welcome back our loved ones whom we have lost in death, and all of our tragic memories will no longer be able to be called to mind. "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outrcy nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Revelation 21:4.

Lisa   July 8th, 2009 1:00 am ET

Gabrielle   July 8th, 2009 1:00 am ET

I am not a fan ,but I have always liked the excellence of his music and dance. Through his videos I thought he had a strong even harsh personality , but after just one interview, I was able to realize how tender, caring and gentle he was, and how shy and innocent. After today's Memorial, I realize he was all I thought and more, but even in a deeper level. He was an angel, and much of the world was not ready and is still not ready for this kind of love, tenderness and innocense. To his mom and family, THANKYOU FOR SHARING AN ANGEL WITH US.

nozie   July 8th, 2009 1:01 am ET

I pray that God keeps the Jackson's family strong and heal their wounded hearts at all times. About 13 years ago, my brother Scelo used to listen to M.j's music, he'd play the same songs the whole day, he loved him so much. Last year, he was blessed with a baby boy that's now 10 months old, he was born on August 26. Though Michael Jackson's gone, he'll always remain a part of us, and a great part of my brother Scelo. Michael will b missed so much. Rest In Peace Michael Jackson.

Monica   July 8th, 2009 1:01 am ET

Hi Michael,
God knows our soul, the rest is a shell. God has you now, he hugs us and gives us a welcome smile, its not cold, there is no pain, there is no tears, we will dance with you when we get there, and you will still smile like you always did, love is what we need in this world, we need to love our children like you did, lets work less and love more,we take for granted time, and God knows when it is time.
I love you Michael, I could see in your eyes the love you had in your soul.
Angels are with you surrounding you , taking care of everything, rest in peace,God is happy now.

He will never be forgotten, Rest in peace my friend. Brian Haines ( upstate new york)

Being just a few years older than Michael, I've always been moved by his music. Dancing to "Don't Stop til you get enough" was a reflection of one of the best times of my life. I never really thought however in terms of being moved by Michael Jackson the person...until today. I'm so appreciative to the Jackson family for their willingness to share this memorial with the world, with all of us who really didn't know Michael & all of all the tremendous things he did to change our world. I know now how much he has changed all of us, not just through his music, but through his extraordinary desire to make this world a better place. My thanks to you Michael, & to your beautiful family...you have all inspired me to want to be a better servant to my friends, my family, my God, & my world.

Hasmik Minasian   July 8th, 2009 1:01 am ET

I was so happy to see such a well organized and respectful ceremony today. I was particularly moved by Paris and her warm-hearted statement. I am also a laaarge John Mayer fan and I know that he was not invited to perform merely because his initials are the opposite of Michael Jackson's.... John was invited because he is one of the few musical geniuses that could replicate Michael's music. I love Michael, my mom loves michael.. and we will all miss him. God bless his family and friends.

PS: thanks for devoting so much of Larry King to covering this news.

terry wright   July 8th, 2009 1:01 am ET

I would like to thank the Jackson family for a wonderful memorial today, it was very fitting for a king. What a great man, i only wish he was alive to see how much love there was for him. Thank You for sharing. Love your family GOD BLESS.

From Rags to Riches he has Risen to top of the World and Gave his Love through his Music.
The Title of ‘The King of Pop’ was not given to Michael Jackson on a silver platter or was inherited by wealth in gold.
Michael Jackson earned it by the list of music he sang through the many years he performed.
With passion and feelings that we can all relate to and memories we can cherished.
His Talents in Music and Dance will be remembered in the past and future Decades.
With his Music he broke barriers through Race, Color and Breed to all, witnessed all over the world. People who have been affected from Young to Old was due to his long periods of contributions to his loving and Moving music achievements.
Finally Michael Jackson will Rest In Peace…The King of Pop gone to soon.We Are Saddened with long periods of Cry’s and Goodbyes. To celebrate our emotional sad feelings of emptyness inside we recall good memories, rejoice the beauty of life, and just SMILE up above. A person who was loved for everyone to remember as the Greatest Entertainer that Ever Live. We are blessed to have witnessed the Beginning and the End of a gift from God to mankind. Amen
Today “A SpeFcial Person” is buried, but will Live In Our Hearts and Minds Forever. An Angel is born. We Love You Michael J Jackson

My family and I have the Jackson family in our prayers. Thanks so much for sharing Michael with us and the world. I grew up with him from afar and it seems as if I knew him all my life. He seems like a distant cousin. I love you Michael. Thanks Michael for giving us all of you. Now we all know what greatness looks like. Thanks so much I will always Remember The Times, Michael.

belle bost   July 8th, 2009 1:02 am ET

I have always loved Michael Jackson. I have everything Michael. I will never forget the first time I saw "Thriller". My favorite student planned a "Michael Jackson" party for me, and devised a clever little ruse to get me out of class so that she and the others could set things up. How surprised I was when I returned to a darkened room....the students flipped on the light switch and yelled surprised! What a wonderful day!!! I have seen "Thriller" numerous times, and each time is like the first, as it is with all of Michael's music.

On a later occasion, when we had an electrical power failure at school, we sat in the grass on campus and sang "We Are the World".

I will never forget the dance team that I supervised at school in the 80's, they won a state competition in which they performed Michael Jackson's "Thriller"....In full costume and make-up.

I love Michael. The ceremony was the most beautiful that I have ever seen. I cannot talk about him without crying

Milagros Baez   July 8th, 2009 1:02 am ET

I wish the Jackson Family would consider resting his body in "NEVERLAND!"

I can picture children riding up high on the rides and looking down at the site where his remains would be buried under his name in bold letters!!!!

Michael would surely smile at this site from where he rests his soul.....

May he rest in peace....

Linda Olson   July 8th, 2009 1:02 am ET

Michael Jackson was an outstanding man and so loving to all humanity. I have never met Michael, but being born in 1952 I have so enjoyed watching him gorw up. I can remember being in St Louis at Six Flags in 1973 and the Jackson family were at the same hotel where we were at, and just to get a glimpse of the Jackson's luggage was so surreal, and I have always loved Michael for what he had become for" all people" and to give sooo much of himself for others.
About the number 7- I have to say that the Lords number is," number seven" and " Michael is the High Arch Angels" name, as my son's middle name is Michael and I truly believe Michael is in a better place and receiving his rewards. We love you Michael and you will be missed. Your family have my prayers always.
Beautiful memorial and so up-lifting– and he is still raising the bar!!!!
In Gods Love,
Linda

Hi, today everyone in the world had the opportunity to view Michael Jackson's memorial, it was very sad. I think that "The Staples Center" should be renamed as the "Michael Jackson Center" and build a satue of him. Thank you

Carol   July 8th, 2009 1:02 am ET

Although I have always enjoyed the music, I have very much enjoyed learning about this incredible person. I really hope this tragedy is not in vain and that we as one person can join together and stop this horrible train of selfishness we are on. Michael seemed to be such a remarkable caring person, pleading for society to be kind to one another. I truly hope I can look at myself and begin to make this world a better place one smile at a time.

Carolina   July 8th, 2009 1:02 am ET

I still can't believe he's gone. I think it's because in actuality, he will never die. He will live forever through his music.

Nancy   July 8th, 2009 1:03 am ET

I have been a Michael Jackson fan since I was 19, which was 40 years ago when I saw him on Ed Sullivan! When I told my sons how long I have been a Michael Jackson fan they could not believe it! They are 23 and 24 years old and are also Michael Jackson fans. Michael's music spanned several generations and I loved all of his music! What other entertainer has given us a lifetime of music? I cried many tears today watching the beautiful memorial service. He is truly the King of Pop!

Dr. Nona Ruth Carroll   July 8th, 2009 1:03 am ET

May Gog continue to bless the entire Jackson Family, Michaels Fans, His friends. Suzzane DePassee and I had accompanied the Jackson Five to the Forum where they had performed at a Lakers Game, We waited in the Forum Lounge for the Five to finish. When they came back to the lounge whre Suzzane and I sat, I was priviledged to a precious moment Michael came straight to me and laid his head on my breast in the circle of my arms (while the others were signing autographs and having fun. Michael did not move from his secure, Sue treased him and said you are only snuggled up to Nona Because she has big boobs, he can of chuckled and grab me tighter(I realized he was a little boy needing love and huggimg. I am now an eighty year old proud woman I held this precious young man in my arms for an hour. Thank You Darling I held my shoulder today where you laid, my tear ducts are dried, but I shed some today. Sorry this is so long but it all happened just that way.

Anita   July 8th, 2009 1:03 am ET

What can one say....our world has lost a gift....a pure soul of genuine love and compassion. His music were the notes of my childhood...his words were hopes and dreams of a believer, one who knew that change is possible if you believed. Like Peter Pan, he knew that anything was possible and he proved it to all of us. Rest In Peace Michael. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us. May God Bless you and your family, may he keep all of you forever safe.

I love Michael Jackson. The memorial was fantastic. I am so sad and
Cannot believe that he is gone. Whatever happen to Lisa Marie Presley?
How come we never heard from her regarding MJ death?

Ashley   July 8th, 2009 1:04 am ET

Hey, Larry. I noticed the seven occurence as well when I seen that his will had been filed on the 7th of July. But, I just thought I'd put in what 7 in numerology actually means, via expertvillage on youtube.

7 in numerology symbolizes the psychics and luck. It is also associated with mysticism, and people that are in touch with their intuition. They love to travel and are writers. They are introspective, and thoughtful people. There are seven days of the week, and on the 7th day God rested. -Expert Village.

I think that sounds like Michael.

Carmella   July 8th, 2009 1:04 am ET

To Michael's children: Your father was the greatest entertainer I ever know since I was four years old listening to the Jackson's 5 on TV. May god bless your family! Our prayers are with you!

It's sad, Brook brought me to tears when she told the story, I feel sorry for the evil people in this world. Money does strange things to certain folks, I hope they got what they want as we did lose one of our greatest caring, loving ,helping, devoted person to the human race. Listen to his words. I think he told his story. How sad.

SCELO HLOPE   July 8th, 2009 1:05 am ET

When you left this world, I felt like a great part of my childhood was taken away from me. Rest In Peace and may God bless your soul Michael.

Celia Hammond   July 8th, 2009 1:05 am ET

We are witnessing a moment in history – equal to the Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Lincoln assinations. Michael is receiving more love and pain from all over the world than the deaths of great people like Ghandi or Mother Teresa. Michael will be greatly missed, but remembered for generations.

Cleopatra   July 8th, 2009 1:05 am ET

I am shocked at the sudden death of Michael Jackson. Being only 14, I never grew up in the area where everyone was obsessed with him. But growing up, I remember hearing the lies. The rumors. The disgusting, and ridiculous things said about him. I hardly heard about the amazing, and wonderful things he did for children in great need. How he helped save the life of the little boy who needed a liver. How he went to thousands of hospitals and gave children toys, attention, and most importanly, his love and his care. He is now my favorite artist. Every song of his represents some sort of message. He wanted peace. He wanted happiness. He wanted more love in this world. For those who chose to believe in the media and lies, research first before you judge. He was proven innocent, and still is and will always be innocent. Michael Jackson was a legacy. The King of Pop. An inspiration to thousands of humans around the world, and now my inspiration and hero. He has opened my eyes, and made me want to thrive more toward achieving my dream in helping make a difference too in the world.
Rest in peace Michael.
Forever in our hearts.
You are in a better place, and as your brother said,
MAYBE NOW they will leave you alone.
– All my love, Cleopatra xoxo

Todays memorial was fit for a King. Michael was loved all over the world including the Caribbean. The events after his death
leading up to this day brought back memories of another great legend that the Caibbean lost, Bob Marley. Marley was loved all over the world and so was Michael. He will be missed.

Larry King we love you! Thanks for bringing coverage of The Greatest Entertainer that Ever Lived–Michael Jackson to us in such a positive light! Much love to every single member of the Jackson Family–my prayers are with you all. I cherish every single member of the Jackson family for the outpouring of their lives to the world. What a blessing your family has been–and will continue to be–to the world! Loved Brooke Shields, Rev Al Sharpton, Pastor Lucious who prayed, Usher, Queen Latifah, The King Family. It really bothered me to not see Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor, Quincy Jones, and our well-loved President Obama/First Lady Michele Obama of The United States at Michael Jackson's funeral. Were any one of them at least in the congregation? Thanks to Berry Gordy for proclaiming who Michael Jackson really is–"The Greatest Entertainer that Every Lived"–and, nations will continue to benefit from his life & death. It's important to stand in awe and recognize the blessing and Glory of God in the earth. Give honor to whom honor is due. Michael Jackson proclaimed a "Heal the World" message through his music and lifestyle. And, now Michael Jackson is resting from his labor. Thank you Lord for giving us a taste of your great image through Michael Jackson. Thank you Michael Jackson for laboring tiredlessly to give us what God invested inside you. Be strong Jackson family. You are well loved by nations.

I came to know MJ as a young single mom of 20 years, having to give my daughter up to a temp forster care agency. There was a chicken pox quarantine, I could not hold my baby for the first 4 months of her life. Michael Jacksons songs "With a Child's Heart" and "Smile", saved my life. You gave me the strength to carry on. That was 42 years ago. Thank you Michael , thank you God for giving us Michael .

My heart goes out to Jackson family at the untimely and tragic death of their son, brother and father. Jacksons have lost MJ but the world has lost a beacon of hope and the light of a shining star. I just wanted Michael Jackson's family to know that I did not go to the viewing in LA do to financial problems. I live in Las Vegas & I am a single mom but my prayer are with the family & I will never forget Michael. I have been watching him ever since he was with the jackson 5. He will always live in our hearts,

I love you Michael & you will never be forgotten.

Shelia Compton   July 8th, 2009 1:06 am ET

What an emotional mesmerizing memorial today that touched my very soul. Being just one year older than MJ, I grew up with his music starting with the Jackson Five. I remember that cameo appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. "Thriller" came out the year my son was born and I still have my copy of that album along with the vinyl 45 records of the Jackson Five. I could never part with them. I was fortunate to see The Jacksons in concert ontheir Victory tour. I remember his legacy as his music and dance moves, his fashion style, and his humanitarianism. He did see the whole world through his heart and he poured out his soul and "fed" the world with his music. Today was about who Michael Jackson truly was as a human being and it is now our responsibility to honor that legacy and never forget the many lives he influenced on this earth. Rest in Peace M.J. God Bless and Comfort the Jackson Family. Shelia Compton Glasgow. Kentucky

Good evening Larry and esteemed guests,
I have never blogged before, believe it or not, but felt compelled to do so tonight for the great Michael Jackson. I'm an an intuitive & inspirational speaker and I've felt the sadness and love for Michael in the energy these past days. I watched all your wonderful coverage today, and know that Michael was there seeing the love for him that he always sought... somewhere on the other side of the veil. He was such a brilliant artist and entertainer and I do hope the world remembers him for just that in the coming weeks, and years. My mother recently died and so I cried to the song Smile for her and for MJ because she loved that song as well. I try to live without regrets, but I will regret never seeing Michael perform live. Love and light to him and his family. Jaye

Amy Smith   July 8th, 2009 1:06 am ET

Oprah, who is cutting-edge precise in commenting on news events and history making figures, has been uncharacteristically silent concerning the death of Michael Jackson. Like him or hate him, he is a Music Icon, and perhaps The Greatest Entertainer that ever lived.....Her shows of late have been reruns....Perhaps she feels (as I formerly did in response to some key controversy) that he is undeserving of acknowledgment......Perhaps Ian Halpern's book "Unmasked- The Final Years of Michael Jackson" will assist you in your understanding of the conflicted genius. It changed me

Rozie   July 8th, 2009 1:06 am ET

Michael Jackson was an ICON in the true sense of the word as represented by my definition that follows: I is for Innovative Thinker, C is for Creative Mind, O is for Omniscient Human Being, and N is for Naturally Talented. He has captivated the world with his voice, music, dance, and graciousness for as long as I can remember. Michael’s intuitive imagination, profound insight, and unparalleled ingenuity made him the magnificent individual we all came to know and love. He was not self-absorbed and showed us just how big his heart was by sharing himself with the world through his music and his humanitarian efforts. Michael put his heart and soul into spreading love, peace, and harmony on a universal level with the sincere passion and dynamic energy that only he could deliver, and that will never be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and children.

KelC   July 8th, 2009 1:06 am ET

Hi Larry,

I just want to say that so many people have stood in judgement of Michael Jackson, they have seen the exterior, eccentric side. Ironically, this is the message that Michael Jackson was trying to convey...don't judge people. Look in the mirror, change his ways. I wouldn't say that I've ever been a hard-core fan of Michael Jackson, but I do recognize that he was amazing. I would never judge him as no one could ever understand the struggles that Michael Jackson handled because no one has ever walked in such shoes. He was unique, he was special, he was amazing. Hopefully, the world will learn from MJ and his legacy will not only be his music but the example with which he led...his open heart to the world. He shared himself with the world and we were lucky to have had that. I send my deepest condolences to his family and his friends, as they have lost more in MJ than the world has lost in this. The world lost a legend, a humanitarian...but his family lost a father, a brother, a son...a friend. I pray that God will help them through this difficult time. Peace and love to MJ and his family.

Thank you.

I'm a white female.......50 years old......and a MJ fan from WAY back. I have the Jackson 5 records.....the 45s......and a 1st edition THRILLER LP. I know I'm blessed to have these records. I believe the Memorial Service for MJ was wonderful and a blessing for those of us that have loved him and his brothers since their very beginning. What I wouldn't give to have all those posters that hung in my bedroom in our first little rental house!! I'm lucky though. I have memories. I have memories of Ed Sullivan Show....... of American Bandstand. I have memories of Motowns's 25th Anniversary.........and I have memories of the Grammy Awards. And I have memories of my neighborhood friends singing and dancing to your 45s on my little sunbeam record player. God Bless you, your children and your family. Thank you for being YOU...........for being THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER THAT EVER LIVED!! WE LOVE YOU, MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!

Yesha Marie Ohashi   July 8th, 2009 1:07 am ET

I thought that the program was amazing, and very beautiful! Thanks Larry for sharing this very humbling and respectful experience with us.
I grew up with all of his songs, and I can remember parts of my life with one of his songs in every part.
I grew up listening and being encouraged by all that he did,
He was and always will be an inspiration. My love goes out to the family and his children. Love you Michael

All my life I have loved Michael Jackson, through all of his trials and tribulations, through the accusations, the finger pointing, the poking and the proding I have loved Michael. I will always love Michael. Even as a small child I have always said I was going to marry Michael Jackson and my want to do that one thing in my life, through it all, NEVER waivered. Michael I love you always. May God bless you and keep you.

The memorial service for Michael Jackson today was beautiful which is befitting for an incredible artist like him. Michael has no equal, he is irreplaceable and I don't think there will be another like him, a consummate, dazzling, terrific, incredible entertainer who is also a humanitarian. The world will definitely miss him! Thanks for all your wonderful coverage on him.

marjorie messick   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

I thought the memorial service was beautiful. I am a michael jackson fan and loved his music and he will be missed but, never forgotten. May he be at peace as he deserves it.

Dr. Vickie Nichols   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

seven is the number that denotes completeness and perfection. I really do not think that people have fully comprehended this loss. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, and the question for me isn't why or how he left our presence, but the fact that is was too soon.

Robert E. Muhammad   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

As-Salaam-Alaikum!

To the Jackson family! First I pray that Allah who came in the person of Master Fard Muhammad be pleased with my brother in spirit, and your son, brother, uncle, and cousin biologically. Lastly, may Allah bless my brother Michael's entire family supernaturally spiritually, physically, educationally, financially, and with financial wealth. SALAAM!

Paula Miller   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

My prayers go out to the Jackson family for their strength during this time of bereavement. Michael's positive spirit of love, care, and endurance through his music will live forever. I feel the pain and the hurt that many of his fans feel – and the emptiness. I know that the Jackson family feels all of these emotions to the highest extent.

One must remember that Michael is where God wants him – with Him. As Stevie Wonder stated, "God needed him more."

I Love You Michael and the Jackson family.

Susan Browne   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

I watched the memorial and cried a lot today. His memory will live on in so many ways. He impacted so many people around the world, it's truly amazing! It is unfortunate we had to be reminded of his greatness through this sadness.

MARISOL   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

THE BIBLES SAY THAT WE MUST BE LIKE A CHILD TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN CONGRADULATION MICHAEL YOU MADE IT
THATS WHY US HUMANS CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON
THATS WHY THEY SAY YOU ARE BIGGER THEN THE KING OF POP
YOU HAVE GONE BACK HOME TO HEAVEN WHERE YOU BELONG
BYE MICHAEL I LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER YOU LIVE

Stacy M Campton Ga   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

Michael transcended time, ethnic, educational and financial barriers. That's what made him a "Human Superstar". No matter your age, race, level of education or financial status...he cared, truly cared, possessed empathy... for all. Always unique in his music, was gifted to be able to relate to all. Although he was a star from childhood, he never let it define him...his heart. Unlike many of the "stars" of todays time, he did not flaunt the "toys" that the average common person could not afford. He made a living by his gift. He lived his life by his heart.

Amra   July 8th, 2009 1:10 am ET

BTW nobody can be compered to MJ all doe respect to Elvis Presley he was a different kind but MICHAEL was UNIKE

Pamella Stoelzle   July 8th, 2009 1:11 am ET

The Jackson's and Barry Gordy can appreciate this. I grew up on Chicago Blvd. in Detroit, Mi: two blocks from the Barry Gordy mansion. My birthday is June 2, 1958; I am almost three months older than Michael Jackson. I remember all of the girls screaming at the gates and crying for all of the Jackson's. I have never ever believed any of the negative things said about Michael. My daughter is 22 years old and studying in Munich, Germany. I received a skype from her at 2 am in Germany, saying Mom I can't believe that Michael Jackson is really gone. I feel sadness about the silence of a great talent that we will forever miss. I feel love and a great loss.

I understand Michael Jackson was a big star and global celebrity and I understand how that fuels ratings and drives coverage. I understand the relationship between your economic and editorial decisions. But over the last few days, as media coverage fuels hype and visa-versa, whatever "journalism" you still think you cling to gradually devolved into complete celebrity worship on your network. As a long time journalist and journalism professor it's sad to me. I teach a course called "Television Journalism". Everywhere I look, even to CNN, an institution that once inspired me, those two words have become an oxymoron, even a joke. As you pander to the masses (and you are not alone), just once I'd like to see someone question, as a true journalist would, where all these family members and "friends" of Michael Jackson that you've fawned over in recent days were over the last decade or two of his life, as he fell deeper and deeper into the abyss that you and many other media outlets documented so well. They were all out there today on global TV getting their moment in the spotlight. But where were they two weeks ago, or the week before that, or that last tortured years of Jackson's life when he clearly needed them? Why doesn't someone ask that? Is there someone in your organization that will actually pose that question, actually be a journalist?

I think that it i s time for CNN to move on and have other topics of disscussion on their broadcast. Larry King Anderson Cooper and the whole CNN crew have talked and talked and talked about Michael Jackson untill we are all sick and tired of hearing about his Memory. I think that now that the Memorial service is over CNN needs to move on to more pressing matters and let Michael Jackson go to his death in peace and please please please find other topics to discusss. People are really getting tired of hearing about Michael Jackson. I know I am. and I'm sure the rest of poeple here in Tulsa Oklahoma are as well. Thnks.

Rich   July 8th, 2009 1:13 am ET

Born in 1963, I grew up with the Jackson 5 in my house hold. It seems like it was yesterday when I heard Michael's voice on a 45 record. I did't go to work today to salute Michael. He did know me, but I felt closer to him than some people in my own family. I cried alot today. What a beautiful memorial. What a beautiful man. I will never forget MJ.

Bettie Tyree   July 8th, 2009 1:13 am ET

“America’s Little Boy”

Most of us did not comprehend the life and times of Michael Jackson simply because he was unlike the common person…Michael Jackson was a “thinker”, a kid at heart and a man in his art, a person who cared about and loved the world where most of will never experience that feeling for a “cross-the-street” neighbor! Michael Jackson’s innocent demeanor brought him much pain and almost caused him a career but with his forgiving child-like heart, he was able to forgive all who made an attempt to harm him. As Barry Gordy put it saying that Michael Jackson beheld two different personalities…and this is true, Michael was from two separate worlds…one where he was shy and subdued and in the other world, he was a “SUPERMAN” on the stage! He “moon-walked” his way into most of our hearts and he even stole our hearts when he was only nine years old. I understood Michael Jackson along with his Mother Katherine Jackson…yes Michael Jackson may not have had a childhood like you or me simply because he was either performing on stage or rehearsing at home or in some remote place where he could perfect his art but most of us would trade our right arm to have been in his successful childhood shoes.
Michael Jackson grew up so fast while attending his career and then when he “got there” and had mastered his art, it was time to be a kid and have some fun with children… all this was very innocent to him and the media misguided the intensions of Michael Jackson where his attempt to be nice to children that led him in search of a childhood like most of us were accustomed too, that’s where the media tainted his acts of love and caring towards children with illicit publicity. He was made to feel “ugly” while most of the populace thought that he was the cutest kid in America!!!
When you are between stages in life such as childhood into adolescence and finally into adulthood…there are often strange and unprecedented transitional phases. Michael Jackson honestly believed that all the world loved him…his demeanor was so innocent and so carefree and to the point where the very ones that he loved and trusted who had also watched him grow and mature into hisstardom , deceived him and left him hurt and confused.
We have all experienced less than normal and some dysfunctional transitioning into adulthood…so “Leave Him Alone” and let him rest in peace. Respect his legacy and the joy that he gave to the world through music…and all the monetary gifts that he gave to the less fortunate, the hospital visits and the poor villages or towns that he visited. Know that if all our skeletons were out of the closet and made public, there would be some that would have to explain his or her actions to more than a few!! Michael Jackson’s life may have been far different from your or mine but that is what made him popular and a noted figure. He went out on the limb where most of us are afraid to branch out.
“SMILE” Michael we will continue to love and we will truly miss you.

April from Torrance   July 8th, 2009 1:13 am ET

Michael, you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Jackson Family.

(Wild)Wayne Melerine New Orleans La   July 8th, 2009 1:13 am ET

We really don't relize how good a person like Michael,Elvis,Ray,James, etc.are till we lose them.Michael was really a Great Person.I haven't really paid much attiion in the pass years of what Michael did other than the negitive things that was in the media. But now that he is gone and in the pass week itreally got to me.I watched everything about Michael Jackson, and YA'LL know what the GOOD he did really out weighted the Bad that was said about him.I think the World has lost a Man who did a lot of good for it,and it will be a saddered Place without Him.My prayers go out to his 3 Children, and His Family. The World is going to be a little Sadder without him.God Bless All.

Kelley   July 8th, 2009 1:14 am ET

I lost my mother 3 days before we lost Michael. My mom was one of a kind and so was Michael. You both will be missed very much. God Bless.

Charlotte Nelson   July 8th, 2009 1:14 am ET

All to often the media talks of all the "bad" about people that are in the public eye. And our nation listens with ears wide open, eyes half shut, and their minds all jumbled up. And all to often – judgemental. But what about all the good that one person can do, or has done. Michael Jackson was an amazing individual that had done so much for so many people for years. And as hundreds of thousands of people keep repeating – He, Michael Jackson, will never be forgotten. He will live on forever. He is the King of Pop. Now is a time for healing, for his family, friends and our Nation. I personally have only ever seen the good in him, even as the media didn't.
My prayers go out to his family. And I pray that the media will allow his family to grieve and not continue to hound them. Michael's children should not have to be tormented by the media as he was.
Forever a Fan, Charlotte

Wow! What can I say? To the family & Michael's children, mine & my family's prayers are with you in this difficult time & our hearts go out to all of you. Michael was truly a gift to this world from God & like all of God's gifts, they are only here for a short period of time to do what it is that he wanted them to do before he brings them home. Be very proud of him , of what he's done & being the chosen ones to bring Michael into & share him with the world. There will never be another more famous, loved & adored throughout the world. I grew up on Michael, mimicking his moves, singing his songs & dressing like him. At times, I swear I could feel his pain in certain songs that he sang. He meant so much to this world & even more to the people around him. The pain of his passing is just unbelievable. One thing is for sure, he will never be forgotten & will truly live on forever, The King of Pop & an angel from God. Before I go, I just want to say that there was one point in my life when I thought I couldn't have kids of my own. Like Michael, I loved kids & have so many God Kids but just wanted one of my own. Well, I ended up having a son 13yrs. ago & one of the things that I will always remember is that right as my son started to be born, the tv was on Mtv & Michael's video of "You Are Not Alone" had just came on. With that playing while my son was being born, I cried. To this day, that song & video is my favorite for so many reasons & I just want to thank you Mr. & Mrs. Jackson for sharing the gift of Michael, that special, extremely special gift of Michael with me, my family & the rest of the world. May God continue to bless you & comfort you all. Once again, from the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank you.

Janice in NC   July 8th, 2009 1:16 am ET

And the number 7 is God's number for COMPLETION – I believe that the Lord has spoken to Michael something like 'Well done...my good and faithful servant!" Michael was moved with compassion – just like our Lord Jesus Christ – therefore, Michael was a blessing to this entire world. He stole my heart back in '69 when I saw him on the Ed Sullivan show one Sunday night – and Michael still has that part of my heart with him in heaven. I will always love Michael Jackson, his parents, his children, and their entire family. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! Your friend always, Janice.

I just simply could not stop crying threw out his memorial. Then the news show his children especially Blanket and Paris with non stop tears, when Paris spoke out and broke down, If I could hold her and just cry with her, I would of. I am glad all media held their tongue, to allow us who truely were fans embrass and cherish him to the very end. God Bless Michael Jackson, his children along with his entire family. Much love and Respect 😦

I have never met you in person, but I know how it feels to lose a child. Keep on trusting and God will keep you and help you over come and fill that spot in your heart where Michael lived with more EVERLASTING LOVE.

My thoughts and prayer's go out to the Jackson family and to Michaels kids. The memorial was so beautiful and I cried throughout the whole memorial. I lost a son when he was 18 years old, and time does not heal, but faith does. God Bless

Eric   July 8th, 2009 1:19 am ET

I just wanted to say that was a beautiful memorial! And, when it all came to an end, the one person who actually, really knew him at his core, revealed to us all something about the man we could never have known otherwise... He was deeply, deeply loved by his children! Paris Katherine Jackson thank you for showing the world how simply beautiful he really was... from the inside.

That will finally silence the critics of his personal life for all time.

Thank you Michael for the example of humanitarianism you Really were!

God Bless

My four sisters and I grew up listening to the Jackson 5. I feel like Michael and his brothers are a part of my family. My greatest hope is that Michael Jackson will receive his righteous place in history as the greatest entertainer in history. My heart is broken. Death be not proud, for the world has suffered an immeasureable loss.

Yvette   July 8th, 2009 1:19 am ET

I have never done this before so I hope it goes to the right place. I can't say that I listened to Michaels music very much but watching his memorial service today, I laughed, cried and felt heartbroken that I had to see and hear these endearing stories under these circumstances. I valued everyones contribution to his service but was totally moved when Brooke Shields spoke of her friend. Our prayers are with the family. God Bless

Ka-Sandra   July 8th, 2009 1:20 am ET

We have lost a great treasure. My prayers go out to the entire Jackson Family and also to the haters of MJ, so they may get a life. You will be missed Michael! Rest In Peace!

CNN was shown genorosity by the Jackson family to brodcast the funeral and the least they could do is hold up the report from the hospital, i mean the world is in mourning. Let the circus stop for a while.

Greeting to the family of my " Icon ".Michael was only two years older than I am . I grew up listening to his songs. When I was in high school they played his songs in my modern dance class. Even though I have never met him iI felt as if he was a part of my immediate family. I can"t stop crying. I yust love and respect him so much. His songs were so conforting to me growing up because I lost my mother when i was a new born, and so i always have this emptiness in my life, and again his songs were a source of strenght throught out my life.
He will be miss by all of us.
We love you Michael.

Mary G.   July 8th, 2009 1:23 am ET

Larry, I would like to share something bizarre that happen the night before we heard the news that Michael Jackson had passed. It was a dream my husband had. I asked him to tell me about it because some dreams have meanings. He said and I quote: "I dreamed that I had long black hair, about shoulder length and that I saw myself in the mirrow". (my husband is bald) I told him that dream meant death and would get news of someone dying. It didn't click untill a few days later. The only connection between is that my husband and MJ is that my husband is a muscian. Very Bizarre Huh!

Angela   July 8th, 2009 1:24 am ET

Michael... W H Y ??
It feels like a bad dream... We will miss you and all the songs you have yet to sing.
RIP

Alyse   July 8th, 2009 1:25 am ET

Being the same age as Michael, I have been fortunate to be able to reflect on my life experiences along with the points in time of the magnificent accomplishments of such a kind, significant and enduring individual. He provides a sense of connection in times of isolation. His pain and courage has provided a testimony of faith to keep moving forward in spite of the negative chaos that others choose to engage in. His children are a reflection of the best of his gifts. I appreciate Michael for being himself. My prayers to his family and friends.

Kristin Braxton   July 8th, 2009 1:26 am ET

I give my condolences to the FAMILY, FRIENDS, and especially his children. Paris, Prince and Prince II have to be the most luckiest children to have a father/mother/friend like michael himself, not for just the fame and fortune its the caring ways he had. I did not know him personally but his home videos and his music tells me how creative and fun he was. I know paris already knows this but her dad hears her and loves her and her brothers dearly. I could go on all day remincsing about growing up dancing, singing, and just having fun in the car playing his songs. I just really admire him himself and the entire family and just want to say he is in heaven showing the angels his gift DANCING and singing.
Love ya Michael Rest in Peace
P.S Paris Prince one and two smile and make daddy proud .

Suzan Ankoyan   July 8th, 2009 1:26 am ET

Michael,
You sang beautiful songs; we heard you and we fell in love,
Your voice is heavenly with angels all around –
You sing beautiful songs and you bring smile on our face.
We can't wait to sit in front of our TV and watch you day and night.
We can never have enough of you Michael, for you are our angel in disguise.
So go my friend, may God be with you.
May God take you in His loving arms and give you lots of hugs too.
How can we say goodbye, for it's very hard to do,
For you are our angel and it's hard to let go of you.
To our sweet Michael, our angel in disguise,
You will forever live in our heart.

Suzan A.

I will forever cherish the memories of Michael Jackson. As a kid I remember watching the Jackson 5 cartoon not realizing at the time a barrier in TV that the Jacksons had broken. As I grew, Michael's music became the backdrop for my life, for with each album, song, or video there is a story to tell. I am truly blessed to have witnessed the greatest entertainer in the world. My heart and prayers are with the entire Jackson family. Thank you Michael for your contribution to the world.

Don Larson   July 8th, 2009 1:27 am ET

My Deepest sympathy go out to Michael Jacksons parents, brothers and sisters and Michael's three children.

At first (years ago) I was one of the people that prejudged Michael when the first child accused him of child molestation because he didn't go to court to defend himself. But I learned something when the second charge came. I couldn't understand why he didn't go to court the first time. I understand that it would have cost him a massive amount of money, but I thought it made him look guilty. But seeing what he went through when he did go to court, I could really see and believe that he wasn't guilty either time. I believe Michael just paid the first child off to try and not have to much damage to his career. But the second time around you could really see how people tried to "gold dig" Michael.

May God Bless your complete family and the children. I really hope that there isn't going to be a lot of fighting for Michael's children and money.

Paco Alarcon - Kahan   July 8th, 2009 1:27 am ET

As an artist, I felt very close to Michael as a musician and as a person. We shared sensitivity, talent and care for the world, we focused on what made sense, we sang about breaking barriers, understanding people and bringing unity. My books are testimony to that.

What else could we aim for in this world? in our lives?
than to break our human barriers of fear, concern and insecurity
and reach beyond to a greater performance of ourselves and
our lives to live such great message.

Don't we need to look further inside, and be honest to see how short we often are of all that? We forget someone's humanity, we forget our own at the same time, but when someone in his striving and talent raises beyond his humanity to deliver a clear message of sensitivity, love and unity, we can ask ourselves how many of us can do that?

It is the greatest gift that someone leaves us with, what gives meaning to life. Not their greatest weaknesses or falls. Wouldnt we all like to be remembered in this way by those who have crossed our paths?

Let's be generous now and forever with people that have had the ability to touch our lives or the lives of others in a way that they will never be the same. Generous with famous or unknown heroes that shape the lives of all everyday, by their greatness, and let's them be an inspiration to us so we can say we are better because someone with light inspired our life

As he said: "I am asking the man in the mirror.... "

Love to you Michael from a brother and fellow artist... thank you for all you gave me and gave the world.

Paco Alarcon – Kahan

Micheal , the General of Humanity, touched and transformed lives with spiritual insight and anointing. He is the man in the mirror for us all. We see ourselves in his music ,we feel his love in his melodies and we experience his passion in his dance. Phenomenonal, before his time and gone too soon.
My deepest condolences to the family

rosa   July 8th, 2009 1:29 am ET

I am 59 so I grew up hearing Michael Jackson, I could see the sadness in his eyes , he was a very sad person. I saw an inteview with this media person , I cannot remmber his name, but Michael told of his abuse by his father and how his father would tell him that he was ugly, how he would also get sick to his stomach before and after his shows because of fear of his father. Maybe that is why he tried to change his looks because deep down inside he felt ulgly , as his father would tell him this all the time. My question is WHERE was his mother why did she let this go on??? Now I am worried about his children that he love so much, She is(his mother) the guardian, Who's to say Michael's father will again take over there lives and try and make them famous, and she will let him mess up their lives as he did poor Michael. Michael may you rest in peace and God Bless You. You were a good Person. and I love You

mcai   July 8th, 2009 1:29 am ET

I must say I am grateful for the way that cnn covered the memorial. As I channel switched looking for the best one to stay with, I was appalled by some cable networks negative bias commentary. While the motorcade moved from Forest Lawn to the Staple Center, there was a lot of dead time. Each network filled with chitter chatter. Cnn was the most positive, so I stayed with cnn for the entire memorial.

Also thank you for just letting us watch without any commentary during the actual memorial.

I was elated when the congress woman said that "a person is innocent until proven guilty". I actually fist punched because I was so glad to see someone defend him so emphatically. We all get so tired of the pundits going on and on about the 2005 trial. Other than to acknowledge how permanently wounded he seemed afterwords and as a result leaving the country, we the public don't want to go through the trials again and again over and over. So thank God the congresswoman addressed that.

I cried when Jermaine sank "Smile". My grandson teased me, but, I could not help it.

I lost it completely when Paris spoke of her love of her "daddy". I just sobbed and sobbed. It was just so sad.

I hope that the media will now be more positive about MJ if only for the sake of his kids. We had a chance to see that they have feelings, so media remember that.

Again, CNN's coverage has been so positive. 360 and Larry King have given good commentary. So thank you.

To Katherine and Joe Kackson:

Thank you for one wonderful gitft you gave the world in your son Michael. The memorial today clearly shows that he was the true embodiment of love and caring. I think he reflects perfectly the teaching of Jesus and when Lionel sang Jesus is Love I thought that was very befitting to your son. It is sitll very hard to believe that he is gone. I never meet him in person but even now songs of his keep playing in my head daily since his death. It is a great loss and I know you miss him dearly. But he will always be with us in spirit as God is spirit. Michael has join with him. God is everywhere and because of that Michael will always be with us. God bless you and your entire family during this painful time

sincerely

I just wanted to say i am very sympathetic with paris,i feel so bad of what them kids are about to go thru my heart pours out to them.they seem to love their father so much they are going to need alot of emotional support, i think that debbie roe should mind her own business, she gave up her rights that shows what kind of mother she would be ,them kids deserve only the best and that happens to be their grandmother . the love and support them kids got from michaels family says it all. michael jackson is simply the best and that was all he wanted for his children, so why go from being the best to a living nightmare with someone who never bonded with them. please let them heal properly with the family that has always been there. not a low life looking for the big dollar and apparently does not really care.

MAYLEEN JAGDHARRY - MJ-   July 8th, 2009 1:32 am ET

Michael was always my idol. I have grown to love him and cherish his meaningful songs. I love him dearly and will miss him so much. I play his music all the time because I love to see his performance. Michael is one of a kind. There is none like him and I do not think that there will ever be another Michael.
I think Michael was called home too soon, but God knows best. Maybe heaven is preparing the heavenly quior for that great day and Michael has some work to do over there. God needed him more than us.
Michael, your legacy lives on. You will always be loved and remembered from generation to generation. You are in a much better place, covered under the everlasting arms of God and NO ONE can harm you or accuse you anymore.
I will miss you Michael and I will ALWAYS love you. You will be in my heart FOREVER.
My condolences to the entire family; Mr & Mrs. Jackson, brothers and sisters and especially to your three beautiful children. May God cover them under His loving arms and keep them safe.
May your soul Rest In Peace my angel.

The Power of One! Michael Jackson is the ephipany of the Power of Love demonstrated in actions! Every good and perfect gift is from God and he definitely was a gift to us all. Pay attention world, the Lord is speaking!! Stop taking LOVE for granted! Many of us never got a chance to meet him personally but now he knows who we all are and how we really feel about him. After all, he does have the name of an Angel sent from heaven.
Michael, I want to personally thank you for the unconditional love you shared through your God given gifts & talents. You didn't hold any of them back, you gave us your all! Though I never thought I would live to see this day, I choose to celebrate, because I know when I get to Heaven you will be there to greet me....smile. My prayers go out to his family and his beautiful children. Love, Lisa

The shock of Michael Jackson's death is still such an unbelievable thing to grab hold of. So as shocking as it is for me, I can only imagine the effect that his untimely death is having on the Jackson family. Growing up as a little girl listening to the JACKSON 5, no one could have told me that when I grew up, I wouldn't marry Michael Jackson. (Smile). His loving, compassionate spirit will forever live on. Take courage, and be strong Jackson Family, as you carry on his legacy. God Bless and strengthen you during this time. Weep with those that weep, and rejoice with those that rejoice. We weep because he is gone too soon, but because we know that you will know a tree by it's fruit, we rejoice....to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!!! God Bless.

Michael Jackson was a rare gift to the world,it is very unfortunate that He left so soon. This planet may never witness another michael.
Goodbye Michael the world will miss you.

Cynthia M Acosta   July 8th, 2009 1:43 am ET

I still can't believe MJ is gone. I haven't cried over the death of a celebrity as much as I have for Michael. It is just so sad! And I wasn't really a die-hard fan of his. Yes, I did enjoy his songs whenever I heard one, and yes, I loved watching his videos whenever they showed them on tv, but I was never really a devout fan of his, until now. I didn't realize what a huge impact this man had made on the whole world until his death. I didn't realize what a beautiful soul he had, how caring he was, how vulnerable he was...how people abused his emotions. He was put through so much crap, and everyone that put him through it, should be ashamed. He was an entertainer, but he was human. He had a heart. He felt pain. I believe he always carried that pain of betrayal and deceit and took it to his grave. I hope he is finally at peace and painless. I hope he knows that he is loved and will be loved forever. There will never be anyone like him. He will be missed immensely. To the greatest entertainer that ever lived: Michael Jackson, I will miss you and love you. You will continue to inspire people through your music. Children that haven't even been born (like me when you were at the top–1980s) will become fans of yours, and that's how you will live forever. Rest In Peace, MJ! The world loves you!

David Gipson(Birmingham Alabama)   July 8th, 2009 1:46 am ET

To the Jackson Family. I am one of 10 children myself. All very talented as well. But never persued music. MY heart goes out to you all. I have lost both my parents and it was devastating.I wish i had had the privieldge to meet your son Michael. he is 2 years older then me. My first talent show at age 7 years old.. I sang Rockin Robin. I feel so many ways our life was paraleled even though we were worlds apart and never crossed paths at all.. He impacted my life just the same. I am also a different kind of person and have had judgement passed so many times on me as well.I would like to say this to the world on behalf of your son Michael Jackson. and to Michael in Heaven. Those who past judgemnet upon sealed their own fate for another place and time with GOD the Creator. He is the final judge in allour lives not mankind. I hate the fact you are gone from us and wished so many times we had got to meet. I am so glad in my heart that i never have to see anyone hurt and destroy the heart that God gave you for mankind. Man tried so very hard to tear and rip your heart mind body and soul and all you gave in return was love in from your heart soul mind body and spirit. Thank You. Man tried to kill you before now. God finally said enough was enough. I need you in Heaven where man cannot have another opportunity to destroy what is left of you. The world is left with only your photo's and life changing memories and music that has actually healed broken hearts so many times. encluding mine a few times. Thank You. The world lost you June 26th 2009. ALL MANKIND needs healing in some form or another. You were a vessel that GOD tried to use but man tried to use you by destroying your wonderful spirit and soul., They will stand before GOd some say for this. All you ever wanted was to LOVE and HEAL the world. You got bitter cruel hatred judgement and dispicable accusation that almost destroyed you and i wept manytimes watching you go through that. Praying for your deliverance from Mankind. and GOD allowed you to be delivered before the whole world guiltless. and I hope some day to meet you in Heaven. Since we did not meet on this earth. May God forgive your accusers some day for the pain and suffering you endured at their hands. GOD BLESS the entire Jackson Family and your children. Rest in Sweet Peace. God Bless your unknown friend David Gipson. Thank You Michael for touching this mans life that you never knew.

Toni Reid   July 8th, 2009 1:48 am ET

Michael has done what we all strive for: to find what we were put on this earth to do and to do it like no one else could. Thank you for your music your soul and your inspiration Michael. You will always be loved.

David   July 8th, 2009 1:49 am ET

All of Michael Jacksons celebrity friends kept there distance for a long time. Now that they can get attenction and make money with the rest they speak of him like he's a god.He is wonderful but is still being exploited.

Darcy   July 8th, 2009 1:50 am ET

Michael certainly was a gift. An angel sent to teach us. Now that he is gone, there is a void in our hearts and the music industry that could never be filled again. A man like him only comes once. Thank you Michael! I will miss you so much! I love you!

HH Alexandra H.   July 8th, 2009 1:50 am ET

Michael – you are nearly there. Now you are free – free at last. Now you know that for those you love, you can always be there as the spirit in kindness. You are the one who opened the gates to be as one. You called all Creator’s children to be one. You called to make and set all colours free. Michael – you did weave a new blanket to bring peace. You are the spirit of peace to many. Your children will carry on your love for the world. Goodbye. Dance with the angels. Thanks for our memories. I wish all to find kindness. Honour all, offering help in love for all. Know we are soul and spirit and need to learn to be kind. Judge self first before judging others and wish kindness – helping others. There is no condemnation needed – only praise. Life is perfect. There is no death, no ending. We wish kindness in life forever. HH Alexandra H. , The Saoshyant, Vancouver, Canada

Mohini P.   July 8th, 2009 1:51 am ET

Thanks to CNN for covering MJ's passing with such class & dignity. I'm sure Michael is smiling as he looks down at all of his friends, family & fans who honoured him today. God bless him! Michael was not unlike many other great beings before him. As such, unfortunately, though hardship & ridicule were endured in life, their spirit & conviction persevered, even after death, as evidenced by the overwhelming love & support of the whole world! May he RIP. XOXO – Love & Respect for always!!! MP.

Manpreet   July 8th, 2009 1:57 am ET

I wept the day I found out that Michael Jackson had died. But today watching the memorial on TV the first glimpse of his body coming out from the funeral home I bursted out in tears. The whole ceremony was moving and emotional. I will miss Michael Jackson very much, he touched our lives in such a way that no one will ever reach that point in our life time. Thank you for being a beautiful sole that the whole world loved. Than you for your ever lasting music. Thank you for your love. I love you forever and ever Michael Jackson!!!! I hope that god rests your beautiful sole in peace.

Ted Dungee   July 8th, 2009 1:57 am ET

To Mrs. Jackson, I want to thank you for sharing your son with us throughout the years as well as today for all to say goodbye but not forgotten forever more. Gone too soon for us. However; God has a special place for him. I did not get to see the service but clips of it online and CNN. I must say it was a true celebration of Life, Love, and a spirit to live on through the love he gave to his children. I wished I could have brought my kids to be apart of spiritual celebration for them to have something to embrace in life forever remembering a great person such as him. To Jermaine; It takes abundance of Gods strength, will and understanding to hold it together and be there for both family on one side and Brother who has passed on to other side while enduring the grief the media trashing and moments of mourning. I am very much pleased the way you stood up to the plate handled the media, the moments of sadness, and embrace it all. I know you have the strength of your mother in you to be enpowered to get through these pass days. I must say the breaking news was a day of sorrow but today was a day of joy that will last in memory to all who embraced time to stop and glance just for a minute to be a part of todays event of a man who is "gone too soon".

God Bless the Family

T.E.D.

Rasha   July 8th, 2009 2:01 am ET

I was very moved during today's service. I never stopped crying once all through out. I only have one thing to say in regards to how the tickets were given out. I personally understand the reasoning behind the lottery factor of how they were given out, but I still disagree with it. Yes, millions of people applied online but many many many of them were not fans in the true sense. A lot of them were scalpers and people who just wanted to be "a part of history". I was thoroughly disgusted to see tickets on sale on ebay and now even more disgusted to see the memorial program on sale too! As if that's not enough, many UNUSED tickets are on sale! I am appalled that people would do this. How can your conscience allow you to benefit from a human being's death? I guess you would have to not have one! What about the true fans who flew in from all over the world just to be a part of this? The proper way should have been line ups infront of the Staples Center on first come first serve basis and allowed the true fans for at least a chance to get to say farewell to their idol. As for the low outcome to the memorial on the streets...as I recall, the media and everyone else were telling people to just "stay at home and watch it if you didn't have a ticket and that if you showed up, you could get arrested". This is the reason for the low numbers by the Staples Center and the streets. If it wasn't for you, there would have been thousands and thousands of people there, if not million. And I do not agree with the many celebrities who got the privilege of attending just because they're a celebrity ( I am talking about the likes of the Kardashians and others like them). Michael would have wanted his fans to be there, and not some people who didn't honestly care about him. God bless Michael..you will be forever missed by your true fans. We will make sure your name lives on for eternity.

Robert Favuzzi   July 8th, 2009 2:04 am ET

Regarding Michael Jackson, the King of Pop! Michael Jackson was an ultimate success in our present life, but because he was so very successfull in his life, he was persecuted by the jeoleous, poor, greedy, and poisonous envious people. He obviously needed to know nicer people, we are out there. Michael Jackson believed in GOD, and in my eyes is an Angel from GOD! The problem was not for his ultimate successes, but the current human American nature to sue people without persecution for a quick buck? A SAD ATMOSPHERE? In Canada we do not live to sue people, in order to make a quick buck and make other peoples lives miserable like they did? Truly Michael Jackson was and always will be a real hero. Michael sort of reminds me of like Elvis Presley, of a sad soul, for being successfull. Maybe drugs was a factor in his life, but if i was him i would have suffered also, looking for a temperary way out too? But the man in the mirror that is really responsible for Michael Jackson's death is the person(s) that prescribed or issued him those medically deadly prescriptions. Basically they helped him kill himself with prescriptions drugs, that is so sad? Maybe if he faced his depresions, he might had seeked or got medical help? He would still be alive today, and a stronger person. I may be a nothing, and or poor, but i feel sorry for the Jackson Family, and especially for his 3 children! I wish i could have met, or could meet Michael Jackson, his brothers, or his family one future day, That to me would be my honour? This would be almost like knowing and meeting Princess Diana. Too bad I probably never would meet people so rich with love! I respect the Jackson Family, and would be honoured to even know them on a personal level one day, you never know? Maybe one day i will be successful enough to be in there circle one day, just to say what i believe about him to them, and maybe talk to his mother one day??????

For Michaels children, I lost my dad at a young age and I thought that I lost him forever until I was enlightened with a spirt of faith. Your father will never leave your side, right now it seems to be so but later you will realize as I did he will always be with you, watching you grow and helping you when you need him the most. All you have to do is ask for his help with whatever it is that you need in the beginning it will seem as if it takes to long to get the answer that you need to have but in time the help comes quicker. Stay open to this as you go on with your life and you will see that it is true you will always be in his heart and soul. He will never leave you even though you think he has, please remember this as I know it will come back 100 fold as you embrace his soul. They say he opened doors for so many which he has but for you he will open the world. Peace be with you my heart breaks for your loss. I do hope you will get this advice one way or the other have faith he is and always will be with you.

To the "JACKSON Family " the beautiful music and Lyrics of the Memorial Service today was inspiring , it was a beautiful representation of Micheal Jackson life and accomplishments, he wrote music that made you think about what our creator desires from
all of us , yes it was too soon to say goodbye but our loving creator is with you now and forever .

Kimnetta Snowden   July 8th, 2009 2:14 am ET

Forget playing the lottery. The number 7 in Christianity represents perfection, completion, and wholeness. Just as God finished creating our world and rested on the 7th day, Michael's work was perfectly complete, far sooner than I even want to accept. Michael was more like God than I think the world even realizes. He knew love, the hurt of humanity, and definitely PURPOSE. Michael was someone who "ALWAYS got it." He understood so much, if not perfectly, what some will never understand and that's maximizing the gift that God has given and living out your purpose. He transcended his call as an enetertainer. I believe with all my heart that God created him to HEAL the WORLD through his very existence. He transcended life itself, he was bigger than life. For someone who couldn't read or write music, and I've never heard of him or seen him playing an instrument, he was the GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME!!! BAR NONE!!! And the Jackson Family. I can only say WOW!!! This family has ALWAYS been A CLASS ACT in EVERY sense of the word. And as I have always asserted, they are closer than close, closer than the media would like for us to believe. So to see them all today the way we did didn't surprise me one bit. For them to share their beloved with the world the way they have today, in the midst of their most personal hurt, I am grateful to them. They didn't have to do it but they did. Michael's home going was a class act just like he and his family are. To Joe and Katherine, if you ever read this, I COMMEND YOU ON YOUR WISDOM in raising such a wonderful family and you all have made good looking kids who ALL look alike too!!! YOu did ALOT of things right. I had the privilege of seeing Michael in Gary, Indiana outside Roosevelt HS right there by 2300 Jackson Street and when I said, "I love you," he stood there, looked at me and smiled and lit up like a Christmas tree. I remember it like yesterday. The Jackson family is a force to be reckoned with, just like Michael. However, just as there will never be another Michael Jackson, there will NEVER be a class act family like this one has ALWAYS been. THEY ARE UNMOVEABLE. I am praying for their strength during the lonely times in bed and in those constant reminders of their most initmate MICHAEL. I am most grateful today for God giving me the privilege of life during Michael's lifetime, for AL Sharpton, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Marlon for telling the truth of the larger than life angel. I could go on and on of the hurt and anger I feel for Michael being gone, this pain I don't foresee ever leaving me. I "get it" like Michael did. Why we God want such a beautiful person to continue to suffer they way he did? The world didn't appreciate him as they should have. Like Marlon said, we'll never fully understand what he had to go through. Thank you Jackson family for a class act homegoing for Michael. He deserved it and every piece of postive coverage and constant video playing he gets - and then some.

Awilda Irizarry   July 8th, 2009 2:20 am ET

I believe that Brook Shields tribute to Michael was very touching. She truly described the true human being Michael was. It was a touching moment when she pointed her finger upward and said Michael with a smile on his face, was sitting up there, perched on a Crescent Moon, and at that moment, I saw in my mind a vivid picture of the man/child that he was, and for a split second, I saw a smiling Peter Pan, perched on that Crescent Moon and instead of Neverland , he was now in Wonderland!

Angela Surajpal   July 8th, 2009 2:22 am ET

If any one could make the masses join hands together and cry, it's M.J. He's done it again, through our tears, he has still given us reason to smile, his music speaks to our hearts. To those who still question why his passing on is such a big deal- I want to say to you, allow Michaels's music speak to your hearts; the world has lost him too soon, but he will always be remembered. How could you not acknowledge the man who healed the world through his music nor pay your respect to the man who extended a hand to those who needed him and did not ask for anything in return? Such is the man whose life we celebrate. His music will live in our hearts, his kindness will be emulated. We love you Michael!!!

Kimnetta Snowden   July 8th, 2009 2:25 am ET

For those who don't "get it," all the media coverage, the CLASS ACT HOMEGOING, I feel sorry for you for missing the point of Michael's meaning and impact to the world. Ronald Reagan didn't transcend barriers like Michael which made him bigger than life Glenn Nelson. It is a shame that Elvis and Frank Sinatra are compared to him. NO ONE has done what he has for US the world over. There is NO comparison to Michael. AND YES I SAID IT AND WILL SAY IT AGAIN – NONE! Thanks CNN for "getting it." Larry, Anderson Cooper and Soledad O'Brien and all other correspondents, GREAT JOB!!! I'm from Michigan and just got back from Sacramento, CA and my best freind and her family KEEP their TV on CNN b/c of the greatest coverage when it matters most. Your network is to be commended. News is what most what to know and need to know. And it's all about MJ for a very long time. Please broadcast his memorial for another week or more!!!

Luisa Rodriguez Connal   July 8th, 2009 2:25 am ET

It would be so good to know the names of the young artists who sang "We Are the World" and the song that followed it during the memorial. They were perfect and added greatly to the memorial for Michael.

thanks Larry

Beeeee   July 8th, 2009 2:38 am ET

Michael Jackson was no different from anyone else in the sense of his trials and tribulations.........He was Human.......He had flaws like all of us............I don't know if the allegations were true about him, and it seems we will never know...........The only reason why we can scrutinize him is because he is a celebrity, and that is the price celebrities pay...........With that said, I believe he was a true artist who was highly creative and spiritual. These two components leads to a highly sensitivie individual which calls for a very courageous sense of being in the world.........I think Michael tried his best to BE..........He was (like most of us) his own worst enemy..........What makes me sad is that I will never hear a new song or see a new dance or video by MJ.............He had alot of messages in his songs, and maybe that's what we need to listen to, in order to understand who he was...........

Abbie   July 8th, 2009 2:42 am ET

I remain speechless to this day! After losing my own father suddenly, nothing else brought out the emotions like that of losing Michael last week. Thanks for sharing the Michael's Memorial with the world. Words cannot express how much I truly appreciate it. Seeing the Jackson family together assisted in my composure. Larry, I would truly handle this grief so much better if you can arrange for me to meet with the Jackson 5. I would also like to see Kathrine Jackson. She meant so much to Michael. Thanks Larry. Long Live Michael! You will forever be in my heart and I will continue to pray for your family for God's strngth in these difficult emotional times. I love you, Michael!

ANALI D.   July 8th, 2009 2:53 am ET

Michael Jackson Moonwalked into my life when I was 2 years old I am now 29 I feel as if a very important part of my childhood was taken away Michael was the most electrifying entertainer to ever walk the face of the earth he will forever live on within his music I love you Michael you will forever be in my heart

Loresa Murden   July 8th, 2009 3:05 am ET

Larry,

Micheal Jackson, one year younger than me.

I grew up listening to him and his brothers, loving them having my

favorite Jackson 5 as did my friends.

When we all got older things changed for michael's brothers, my

friends and, myself we started to embrace our adulthood Micheal

changed on us he with the opposite direction we became adults and

Micheal started to live his childhood. None of us understood that .

Why because we lived our childhood when we where children.

When playing with our toys, playing red light-green light, tag and, hide

and seek . enjoying all the things children and teens enjoyed at that

time.

Micheal was working doing adult things singing and for us and, our

parents who purchase the albums (we could barley buy the 45) we

not listening to who's loving you, we listening to ABC, I'll be there

and don't stop until you get enough( I still ask did we get enough).

In those days we where in love with the Jackson 5.

We had crushes on Jackie, Marion, Tito, and, Jermaine. Micheal was

entertaining our parents and been a man (instead of a child) he

had his first crush Diana Ross. What man did not like Diana,

Micheal, was wowed by Diana and , his brothers where being

amazed by all the young girl in love with the Jackson 5.

Micheal (been the man he was at that time) saying forget about us we

could never touch Ms. Ross.

When Jermaine, left the group and married Hazel, we say it as a

a opening for Randy, to step in. That's was OK!

Then Micheal left. that was very painful and brought stress.

But when Off the wall was released we danced all night .

Just like Micheal said relaxed we did that, amazed that Micheal had

grew up (we thought). Then there was thriller. Who cared about

weather he had grew up or not thriller was the hit.

WHO CARED IT WAS ONLY MICHEAL, NOT THE JACKSON 5....

By then the fans where young adults and Micheal with the opposite

direction he began to embrace the childhood that he never had.

Most of the world could not understand that part of Micheal..

However we tried not to judge him.

I understood the plastic surgery. Micheal did not want to look like

the person who robbed him of his childhood his father..

He was trying to rid himself of Joe... We all can understand that (His

father robbed him of his childhood) who falls in love with a robber?

No one wants to remember the person that took from you a part

of your life, nor look like them let alone be like that person.

They say once a man and twice a child.

For Micheal it was different.

For Janet it was different.

Micheal started to develop into a man after the blanket incident

and after the trial.

He realized that he was a father.

Micheal realized to be a father he had to be a man

What did Micheal do he MANNED UP

He became Micheal the man!

Micheal, the father!

Micheal the DADDY !!!!!!!

Micheal I never stopped loving you

Julie   July 8th, 2009 3:21 am ET

Do you know how long they will keep Michael Jackson poster at Staple Center?

Michael,
You came down from heaven to teach us about humanity, about all humans are the same regardless their race or color. We are all all the same! You teach us through your music, your lyric, your passion. You are one of the kind like no others. Now you left us, the world will miss you and will always cherish you for your talent, music, and your kind heart.
The day you died is also the day my childhood died. I still remembered everytime your song play at the roller skating place, everyone try to do moonwalk.
Today as the casket move to the center of the stage, I start to realize you are really gone...my tears start rolling down from my eyes from that point on to the end of the memorial. My heart is broken but I know deep down inside my heart you are at a better place. You have suffered too much from all the ridicule, its too much to handle, and yet you still standing strong.
I will never forget you and your legend. Again thank you Michael...thank you ; ;

MJ created a lot to this world which made it a better place for the human race.

Kathryn Bowler   July 8th, 2009 3:48 am ET

Michael touched motherhood, with the sudden popularity of Jazzercize in the early 80's. My post-partum recovery was joyful and exhilerating in those classes with other new mothers, dancing our young bodies back to slim shape to the fabulous rhythm of Billy Jean. I bet Michael didn't really absorb how fabulously fun that was for us, young mothers achieving that all over the world! Thankyou Michael! I'm 53 now and I'll never forget him.

Feliza   July 8th, 2009 3:49 am ET

Micheal Jackson will be missed forever. Best wishes to the entire Jackson family. Thank you Micheal for everything you have done, and will continue to do through those who took the best of what you gave. Great job CNN and Larry King on the coverage. Thanks for the coverage. Long live Micheal Jackson.

Dianne   July 8th, 2009 3:55 am ET

Our family remembers the Jackson 5 & Michael when they came to the Ohio State Fair, as very young singers and have followed his career ever since. Our Sincere Sympathy to the whole family. We find it interesting that the media that hounded him and tried to ruin him, has now tried to make up to the family, by covering his death. The Memorial service was wonderful and each and everyone that participated, except Al Sharpton spoke from the heart.

Hilda Aguirre   July 8th, 2009 4:01 am ET

My condolences go out to the entire Jackson family. My brother, sister and I grew up in the 80's and 90's. We grew up listening to Michael Jackson. The first record our parents bought us was the Thriller record. We wore that record out. At the school dances, everyone wore the famous glove, everyone danced the Thriller song. It was a very fun time. My kids have learned about Michael and are fans of his music now. It is cute seeing my 8 year old and 5 year old dancing and singing to Michael Jackson songs. Today my family and I witnessed history. The world truly lost a great human being. He is now at peace. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson. You will truly be missed.

kATHERINE WHTE   July 8th, 2009 4:01 am ET

A "REAL ANGEL" WALKED AMONGST US! MJ TREATED EVERYONE THE WAY WE'RE ALL SUPPOSED TO! IF WE TOOK EVEN JUST ONE THING...FROM HIS EnorMouS HEART...THE WORLD WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER PLACE! BUT HEAVEN REJOICED ON JUNE 25TH..MICHEAL WAS COMING HOME! IN THE END..ONLY WHAT WE'VE DONE FOR GOD WILL MATTER! I'LL ALWAY'S LUV U MICHEAL...4 SO MANY REASON'S! YOU WERE SIMPLY.."MAGIC"!!

Mindi Dey   July 8th, 2009 4:16 am ET

Katherine and Joe Jackson, thank you for sharing your wonderful son with us all these years. To me he was not only a great entertainer, but a person who really showed his love for human kind. He influenced so many of us to give of ourselves to those who need not only financial help, but emotional love. He taught us to really open our minds and accept and love each other. He was the first to actually go around the world helping everyone with whatever needs they had. He never hestitated to accept a hug or give a handshake from the "common" people. He never made you feel that you were not worthy of his attention or love. We will love him forever and ever. No matter what negative things people say about him, I know that he was one of those special people that God granted us with. I know that he is within the arms of God and is at peace. I will pray that you are able to get custody of his children because with you is where they belong. Take good care of them and love them just like Michael did. With love.

Theresa   July 8th, 2009 4:18 am ET

Micheal Jackson was a man of steel. As i watched his memorial service honoring the King of Pop. We always knew that Micheal was one of a kind. The world will truly miss him.

KBhel   July 8th, 2009 4:34 am ET

Thank you to the Jackson Family for sharing this day with us. The tribute was beautifully done and completely representative of M.J. -Michael was our “King of Pop” but he was your son, brother, uncle and father. God sent Michael to help us make some sense out of this whole thing called life, as many of us have forgotten what life and living is all about. He did an extravagantly magnificent job…his work is finished, and now he is home. I pray that he finds the peace and happiness that he could not find on this bitter earth…May God Bless him him forever. Again, thank you!

To the "Michael Jackson" family, what a beautiful, beautiful memorable musical tribute that was bestowed upon Mr. Michael Jackson on this day by all of the artists. Just eloquent!

Lois A. Bogee   July 8th, 2009 5:01 am ET

On behalf of myself and my family, I send our deepest condolences to the Jackson family. We were fortunate to know the Jacksons in Gary, Ind. back in the day... Their home was situated near a large little league baseball field where my father was then president and a baseball coach. Several of the brothers along with my brother played on teams there, and we have always been proud of their career accomplishments and especially the extraordinary success and world humanitarian efforts of Michael ! We are heartbroken about Michael's death, a very special gift to the world, and we send out our love, comfort and prayers to the whole family for renewed strength, healing and peace through God in the years to come.

someone with a talent as great as Michael Jackson's would have every reason to be conceited, but yet Michael was one of the most selfless people in showbiz. He had a great heart and was constantly giving. You could see his beautiful soul through his smile. He was truly an angel and will be forever remembered. I have nothing but sadness for his family who have suffered a great lost. R.I.P Michael, we love you.

Monika M.   July 8th, 2009 5:26 am ET

Wow, that number 7 is certainly freaky. I can not express how much Michael has touched my soul on so many levels. Having grown up with his music I am delighted to see that not only my generation but those before me and those long after me will come to love the music of the best entertainer ever to have graced this world – Michael Joseph Jackson.

MJ is the KIng! He rocks! And I thank him for making this world a better place.

I just think it's a shame that people treat you cruelly and then when they die...he was THE KING. Why can't people be appreciated while they live and really need support. The press especially killed him and badgered him and now they want to exhault him. It just doesn't seem right. It would be nice to have something for people while they live.

Rose   July 8th, 2009 6:03 am ET

Thank you to all the Jackson family for sharing your day with all the people of the world. Here in England the sky opened up and cried.......MJ always in our heart.......

Sara O'Connor   July 8th, 2009 6:09 am ET

If anyone asked me when I was a kid, "what do you want do/be when you grow up", I would have answered simply :"to dance like Michael Jackson".

That one simple statement sums up perfectly how much of an icon he was to me and other people of my generation.

I will never forget the day my Dad took me to see Moonwalker for the first time. Watching the dance sequence in 'Smooth Criminal' was simply awe inspiring! I even remember us studying the 'Thriller' video at school due to the sheer quality of the choreography.

As an avid dance fan myself, these memories will stick with me forever.

The world will never see another performer like him. The world has lost a legend and I think it is a tragic loss.

Why do artists of his magnitude always die before their time?

I think something needs to change and fast.

'Love and light' to Michael's family at this very difficult time.

xx

I found the farewelll to Michael was an amazing ceremony fit for a king. Everyone was so respectful and the memorial was shrouded with sadness throughout. All the speakers and entertainers were so amazingly talented and shared messages of love and genuity. Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz opened with my all time favourite song of Michaels. Michael Jackson went into orbit and never came down. The undisputed king of Pop-The Master. The greatest entertainer that ever lived. Rest in Peace Michael.

Larry, thank you for the respectful way of commenting Michael's death. May our prayers and thoughts be with him on his last journey to eternal peace and freedom. May he stay in our hearts forever not only as the greatest entertainer, but also as the pure, kind, and sweet man he was. God Bless.

I thought I would take the time to tell a story about a man that seemed to care. In the 80's the moonwalk was all the rage and MJ was a major super star. Jimmy was one of "Jerrys kids" , he was terminal
and every breath Jimmy took was a struggle. His life was spent imobile in a wheel chair. Jimmy did have on love though it was M.J.,the moon walk and the glove. As a family we would have done any thing for jimmy, to make him smile. He couldn't do the moonwalk
so he asked for a glove like M.J.s. My mother after hearing what Jimmy wanted looked high & Low for a knock off and had no luck .
Then one day during a lunch date with a friend she metioned her
delima and her friend took the effort to ask the man who sat in the back of the Hall at the Jehova church if he could help?
That man was M.J. . He not only sent her a glove but he also sent a letter with that glove. When Jimmy recieved the glove and letter he smiled and even when he was in pain that glove brought him comfort.
Jimmy passed a year later and we put both the glove and letter in his coffin. I will remember M.J. not for his star power, but for his extrodinary kindness to a boy he had never met.

Hi Larry,

Thanks to CNN for the wonderful coverage Of Michael Jackson's Final Curtain call! it was wonderful that the Jackson family in their time of grief produced a Memorial service that can never be forgotten and for sharing their time of personal loss with the world- With amazing memories, songs and finally photos of this famous family together. It is the first time a Celebrity family has opened the doors on such a scale with such raw emotion, yet another wall broken down.

What struck me the most was the strength of Michael's beautiful children who displayed courage, determination and focus during what must have been a very tough and long morning and one can see that they are going to be stars in their own right!-Paris is not only a very beautiful young lady but for sure any father would have been proud of her heart felt tribute -Micheal and his family have done a lovely job in raising them- and I think she will be the strength behind his legacy for the future she has a beautiful energy and a magnetic smile!

I guess it's time to buy a new Album and spread the word- the comment "Micheal was not strange, but what he had to deal with was" ...summed it all up!

Condolences to the family

MIckeal you left us so soon, but your music and humianitarian life will live forever in our mind.We love your music in NIgeria. LIVE FOREVER KING OF POP.

MJ   July 8th, 2009 7:12 am ET

As the casket entered the building, my tears started to flow, and didn't stop until well after the ceremony. The service was so touching, and respectful of the musician, friend, brother and thanks to Paris, a father. She, like her father, touched the hearts of many around the world with her words,.
We saw him as a great entertainer, a constant member of the tabloids, but offen forget that there was human being behind all that. I thought Brooke Shields did an terrific job honoring her friend. Loved the photos of him with the happy radiant smile, and the audio clip thanking for acknowledging him as a person and not just a personality. It reminded us of the work he did other than his music. It was a great job.
To his family; brothers and sisters, mother and father and especially his 3 children, may you find some comfort in the memories you have . May he find peace that sometimes escaped him here on earth.

Lisa   July 8th, 2009 8:05 am ET

I watched his memorial on Tv and it was very touching. As I watched his brother sing Smile i couldn't help but cry. I still can't believe that he is gone. His daughter made me cry even more. All 3 of his children are beautiful. I hope that his mother allows his children to have a childhood something their father never had. I wish i could have met Michael. He was my pretend boyfriend. I Love You Michael.

Whish I knew him.... hope the media will respect his children and his family and will leave them alone.
words cannot explain the loss the wolrd experiences right now.
POLAND really loves Michael just like he loved Poland....

Helen Pataki   July 8th, 2009 8:38 am ET

I woke up at 5 a.m yesterday morning, did all my house work and at 11 a.m was my time off.Lying down comfortable I watched the whole Michael's Jackson Memorial.
It was the best memorial I have ever seen in my life, for two hours I shed tears like every one else.
Michael was a child that never grew, which no one can accomlished.
He lived his dream to the fulest, and gave us togetherness and love.
I watched Michael many times not only as a tallent, but I was looking down deep into his heart,I saw love, kindness and crying for help and understanding. He gave it all,all from his sweet little hear, and in return he received hate, accusations, and greed. Especialy from the children's mother.Greed make her to want the children,no love.
I hope the judge would never make such a big mistake and give her the children. They do not belong to her,she will abuse them like Michael's Father did just for greed. The children's place are with the family who will dearly love them.
And I also hope that Michael will be burried in the neverland that's where he belongs. The Government is not allow to bury some one in private property. But, Michael was not some one.He was the KING.
Like it was said in his memorial.(THE KING WILL NOW KNEEL TO THE KING OF KINGS) And he will never be alone any more.
Good bye Michael,be an angel in the sky and send your love ,your kindness, and stop the hate ,which our world so desparate need. You have touched our hearts.
REST IN PEACE OUR CHILD. Helen from Canada

Kristi Stevenson   July 8th, 2009 8:38 am ET

This was the most touching memorial I have ever seen. Everyone gave me chills, from Steveie Wonder to Usher. And the words from Brooke Shields & Smokie Robinson brought tears to my eyes. And nothing was more heart breaking than when his family spoke. Like his brother Marlon said maybe now they, (haters) will leave you alone. And for the sake of his dear mother & precious kids I hope that's true. When you look back at all the things he's accomplished all you can say is God blessed us with a GENIUS! Like the Rev. Al Sharpton said Michael wasn't strange. We as mere, untalented mortals just never could could grasp his mind thought because he was too much above us. With the voice & soul of an angel, I can only assume God gave us one of his angels for a short time. M.J. loved the planet & the people who reside here & we both will be lost without him. Love you Michael & God be with your family! FROM: THE SALTER, STEVENSON & WRIGHT families

Florenta from Bucharest,Romania   July 8th, 2009 8:47 am ET

And he was born on 29 august,2 from 9 it's also 7

Thank you Larry King for everyting you say these sad days about Michael Jackson, for people you invited to talk about him.In Romania i can't see you live but i saw everything the next day recordered.Untill now i have never seen your shows but these days i saw all and i am greatfull to you for making me see how people spoke about him,how friends loved him so much.
I've allways loved Michael Jackson and i allways will,i saw him live in Bucharest both concerts in 1992 and 1996 and if he would have come ten times ,there's no doubt i would have go everytime to see and listen him again and again...
I'm so,so sorry for this tragedy but i am greatfull for living in the same world and time Michael Jackson did.
I lived my life with his music ever since i discovered it,still do,i sang some of his songs to my daughter when she was a little baby,i still sing and dance with his music only now i cry very much even though i know Michael would not want us to cry ,he would like people to be happy but now is too soon, everything was happening too soon...
I only hope Michael knows now how much the entire world loves him and i hope his children to be proud of their father and love and respect his memory as we all do,i pray for that.
In my opinion Michael Jackson was the greatest artist of all times,he was so special in everything ,so wonderfull that i feel sorry for all those ones who try to imitate him because that's not possible,it would be better for them to try to find their own style or give up .
Nobody can be at least close to his performances...
We will never forget you Michael, may God give you peace of soul
R.I.P.

I've just missed the biggest event in this century-hope can catch the replay of the funeral later. In Malaysia, when you say Michael Jackson, people will start screaming "Owww!!!" started to pull up the trousers and do the moon walk move. In school, we were taught to READ history, but Michael Jackson, he MADE a history! People around the world is celebrating his contribution towards the music industry, culture and as well as the mankind. MJ really made a 'better world' for us all!!!

Mj will always be remembered in many hearts, many places, many years to come!!!

MJ'S LIFE INSPIRING AND CHALLENGING LIFE FOR ALL TO EMULATE. HE DID NOT SPEND HIS TIME WITH FRIVOLITIES OF LIFE...ONLY WITH THINGS THAT MATTERED...HELPING THE WEAK,THE POOR AND THE UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN WORLDWIDE.HE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF NOT LOVING THE WORLDLINESS OF THE WORLD.MICHAEL TAUGHT ME SOMETHING ZERO IN AND FOCUS ON WHAT'S MOST ESSENTIAL HELPING, CARING FOR AND MAKING THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE. THAT'S WHAT AM GONNA DO! NO-ONE AND NOTHING ELSE IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT A LEGACY TO LIVE BEHIND; HE SHOWS ME THAT ITS WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT WE HAVE THAT LASTS AND EVEN OUTLASTS OUR SCORNERS,NAY-SAYERS AND CHRONIC KNOCKERS!!!

REST IN PERFECT PERFECT PEACE IN CHRIST FAR AWAY FROM ALL THAT MISUNDERSTOOD,HATED AND MISTREATED YOU. BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS LIVE LONGER IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU AND YOUR EFFORTS TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH AND HEAL A BROKEN WORLD SUCH AS OURS.

THANK YOU FOR SHOWING US WE CAN STAND UP,STAND OUT AND SHOW OUT AND BE THE VERY BEST WE WANNA BE IN THIS WORLD...GUESS ITS UP TO US NOW MICHAEL...LIKE YOU, WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE, WE WILL STAND UP, STAND OUT AND SHOW OUT ...WE WILL LIGHT UP OUR WORLD WITH GOD'S LOVE IN OUR HEARTS TO THOSE WHO CANT LOVE US BACK...JUST LIKE YOU DID. GOD BLESS YOU SO MMMUCHHHH AND THANK YOU FOR A LIFE WELL LIVED AND WELL EARNED IN HEAVEN!!!

WOW, "THE KING OF POP" HAS PASSED ON BUT HE WILL FOREVER LIVE ON IN MY HEART. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS VERY UNIQUE, WONDERFUL, COURAGEOUS, GENEROUS, CARING AND LOVING MAN. HE WAS INDEED A GREAT MAN DESPITE WHAT HE WENT THROUGH IN LIFE AND DEPITE WHAT THE REST OF THE WORLD MAY HAVE THOUGHT OF HIM. I LOVED MICHAEL SO MUCH. I DON'T THINK I CRIED LIKE THIS UNTIL THE PASSING OF MY GRANDMOTHER BACK IN FEBRUARY 2000. MICHAEL'S PASSING WAS SUCH A TREMENDOUS LOSS FOR ME. I CRIED SO MUCH THAT MY 8 YEAR OLD SAID TO ME "MA, IT'S OK TO CRY. I LIKED MICHAEL JACKSON, TOO." FROM JUNE 25TH TO TODAY, HE HAS BEEN TRYING TO IMITATE MICHAEL'S DANCE MOVES EVERYWHERE WE GO. LOL... I STILL COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS WAS REAL TIL THE FAMILY STARTED TO ROLL AWAY THE CASKET. I WOKE UP TODAY AND REALIZED THAT A PART OF ME IS MISSING. IT'S MICHAEL. I KNOW THAT THE WORLD LOVED MICHAEL BUT AS WE ALL KNOW GOD LOVED HIM BEST. THE KING OF POP AND THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD LEGACY WILL LIVE ON THROUGH HIS CHILDREN AND THE REST OF HIS ENTIRE FAMILY. NO ONE CAN NEVER REPLACE HIM FOR MICHAEL WAS AN """"ORIGINAL.""' THIS JUST GOES TO PROVE YET ONCE AGAIN TO LOVE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS BECAUSE YOU CAN BE HERE TODAY AND GONE TOMORROW. TO THE JACKSON'S FAMILY, I KNOW IT MAY SEEM ROUGH RIGHT KNOW BUT I WILL TRULY KEEP YOU ALL IN MY PRAYER. I KNOW THIS IS A LOSS FOR YOU ALL BECAUSE HE WAS YOUR SON, BROTHER, AND UNCLE. BUT PLEASE KNOW THAT GOD MAKES NO MISTAKE. MICHAEL'S LOVE WILL LIVE ON THROUGH YOU ALL AND HIS CHILDREN AS WELL AS HIS FANS AND FRIENDS BECAUSE HE WAS TRULY TRULY TRULT THE BEST. MICHAEL SAID IT BEST IN ONE OF HIS SONGS "YOU ARE NOT ALONE". ITS SO AMAZING THAT EVERYTIME I HEARD THAT SONG OR HEAR THAT SONG, I CRY BECAUSE IT HAS MEANING. I ONLY THINK TO MYSELF THAT NO MATTER WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH I AM NOT ALONE BECAUSE I GOT GOD AND I GOT MY FAMILY.

I HAVE NEVER IN ALL THE 39 YEARS OF MY LIFE SEEN SUCH A MORE BEAUTIFUL AND EXTRAVAGANT MEMORIAL SERVICE. WHEN JERMAINE GOT UP AND SANG SMILE, I CRIED. WHEN USHER WALKED DOWN TO THE CASKET SANGING "GONE TO SOON", I CRIED. WHEN AL SHARPTON SPOKE, I CRIED. WHEN BERRY GORDY SPOKE, I CRIED. FINALLY, WHEN HIS DAUGHTER, PARIS SPOKE ON FOR A BRIEF SECOND, I CRIED EVEN MORE. THAT LITTLE GIRL REALLY BROKE ME DOWN AND TORE MY HEART TO PIECES. WE LOVE YOU MICHAEL AND WE WILL TRULY MISS YOU. BUT WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER FORGET YOU. R.I.P BECAUSE YOU WERE THE MAN IN THE MIRROR AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THERE IN OUR HEARTS.

My heart goes out to Michael Jackson's family. I also as many did grew up listening and dancing to his music. There isn't a song he sang I don't know. I never knew him but have always felt close through his music, his voice and his eyes. The most gentle eyes I have ever seen. I will miss him deeply and I know he will protect his children from heaven. May he rest in peace and sleep well.

Merlie   July 8th, 2009 11:24 am ET

What a wonderful tribute to a great human being. What I got from all this coverage and I didn't know about him, was that besides being a great entertainer, Michael was truly a very nice person. RIP my dear Michael. I wish I'd appreciated you enough when you were here. I really did appreciate all your music throughout the years.

shoozeyque   July 8th, 2009 11:56 am ET

This is addressed to Glenn Leslie above for all of your negativity – I, for one, was overcome with grief watching the memorial service yesterday. It touched my heart. It was dignified event and it done with such class, and it was a day that was necessary for all of us to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Michael Jackson.

You, my friend, need to "BEAT IT!"

Mrs. Donna Booker   July 8th, 2009 12:00 pm ET

July 7, 2009

Good Morning: Larry King

First like to send my condolence to Michael Jackson's Families I too love Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson Signed his will on 7/7/02, His Memorial 7/7/09 exactly 7 years after the will was signed. Michael Jackson two biggest hits Black & White, and Billie Jean were each #1 for 7 weeks, His 3 Biggest albums Thriller Bad & Dangerous each produced 7 tops 40 hits, Michael was the 7th of 9 children He was born 1958...19+58=77 He died on the 25th...2+5=7 Michael Jackson has 7 letters in his 1st name & 7 letters in his last name.

My Profound Comments:

(The # 7) means completion.

God rested on the 7th day from all his work, Michael Jackson, DESTINATION to be with God on 7/7/09. Michael ran the race, He fought a good fight and Michael Jackson finished the course.

The # 7 is one of God's number found in The Old Testament, Gen. Chapter 2 Verse. 2 In (The Living Bible), ( King James Holy Bible), King James International Bible New Version) to name a few. It was time for Michael Jackson to rested in God on that day God Chosed 7/7/2009.

Remember Fans and Friends of Michael Jackson, We too must answered to God, just as God called Michael, This is one thing we have Absolutely NO say in the matter referring to (death) We can't out boxed God. Our hands are too small.

Remember, FANS & FRIENDS of Michael Jackson's, Michael want you to SMILE.

With Much Love to the Jackson's Families
Continue to be Blessed !"

From: Mrs. Donna & Winfred Booker

I so much honored and adored how Jermaine Jackson spoke of Michael during the interview with Larry King at Never land. His words spoke for me in how I will remember Michael Jackson. During Micheal’s concert tours, all the publications and interviews I saw a delicate, loving and caring man. A man who cared for everyone. He demonstrated it in his music, his friendships, his public appearances and in everything I saw and heard. When Jermaine sang the song, “Smile” I was so choked up and bursting with tears. I love you Michael with my deepest heart and thank you Jermaine Jackson for your words of love for your brother. He is truly a man and a spiritual treasure we may have taken for granted and will always miss.
Love to the Jackson Family and God Bless You All!!!

Linda from New York   July 8th, 2009 12:34 pm ET

Even after watching the memorial service, it is still hard for me to believe that Michael Jackson is gone. Everytime, I think about the first time I saw him on the The Ed Sullivan Show with his brothers wearing his purple vest and lavender hat. I feel like crying. I always knew that Michael was a wonderful entertainer, but after watching his old videos and just focusing on his dancing,-OH MY GOD–I WAS BLOWN AWAY. WHAT AN AMAZING DANCER!! I CAN JUST SIT THERE AND WATCH HIS DANCING IN SLOW MOTION JUST SO THAT I DON'T MISS ANYTHING. BERRY GORDY IS CORRECT. MICHAEL JACKSON IS THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER THAT EVER LIVED!!!!!!!!

REKHA NAIR   July 8th, 2009 12:45 pm ET

. MICHAEL JACKSON IS A LEGEND IN THE TRUE SENSE OF THE WORD . HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE ROLE MODEL FOR THE PRESENT AND MANY MORE GENERATIONS TO COME . IT IS REALLY SAD THAT SOME PEOPLE FORGET TO SEE THE GENTLE, HUMANITARIAN SIDE OF HIS PERSONA . I SALUTE HIS DEVOTION AND DEDICATION TO THE WORLD OF MUSIC AND TO THE WELL BEING OF THE UNIVERSE . I FEEL SORRY FOR THE MENTAL AGONY HE HAD BEEN THROUGH . MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE JACKSON FAMILY SPECIALLY WITH HIS DAUGHTER PARIS , HIS SONS PRINCE MICHAEL 1 AND PRINCE MICHAEL 2. MAY GOD GIVE THEM THE STRENGTH TO OVERCOME THIS SORROW .

Hi Larry,
First and foremost, thank you for always being so honest in your interviews. I think you have a done a magnificent job presenting the up to date information on "The Best Entertainer in the World". I was 3 years old when the "Thriller" album came out. My parents purchased it for me and I still have it. I plan on keeping it. I don't see how I could give a piece of history away.. My thoughts are with his beautiful children. MJ truly loved them and seemed like he was a terrific dad... Peace and Love to the Jackson Family!

maria c   July 8th, 2009 2:36 pm ET

Hi Larry,
this is your long time friend from Canada. Faithfully watching you for years; however coverage on Michael's death, and memorial was absolutely suburb. I couldn't stop crying the entire day. I learned to love this man throughout the music of my daughter's generation. I even bought her a red leather jacket many years ago, and on many occasions danced to the beat of his music, along with her.

My sincere condolences to the family and his children.
There will be no one like Michael ever again.

Good bye Michael. Thank you for everything you've done for the humanity on this planet.
May you finally rest in peace?

A TRIBUTE

TO
MICHAEL JACKSON

A child grown into a man before the eyes of millions.
The changes made did not change the man within.

For he always was and will forever be the one and only
Michael Jackson.

His dance moves moved the world and put it into
Rhythm and motion.
From one side of the world and across many oceans.

His beauty and innocence took the world by surprise.
That his differences cause many to point and criticize.

Yet his dreams prove more then mere fantasy,
For the whole world to see.

Michael has finalized his last dream for all to
Realize…
That the man in the mirror has finally been given
Wings to fly.

A tribute to Michael Jackson-the only man that
Truly prove to live a life filled with the reality…

That angels do come down from flight…
To entertain those worthy of his beauty and
Light.

The Poet Of Thoughts

Loraine A. Garza

In memory of
Michael Jackson

8-29-58– 6-25-09

Michael, you will forever be remembered and loved...
God bless the Jackson family, in their time of sorrow.
And may God guide them to a brighter tomorrow.

The man in the mirror is a way to show us we need to look at ourselves first...

Melinda   July 8th, 2009 9:54 pm ET

First I would like to say that you all did a wonderful job on the memorial service on Michael Jackson. Millions of tears shed millions of hearts broke in million of pieaces. And I just think that it is just sick that Debbie Rowe thinks she can now just come in like she is somebody and think those kids are just going to look at her and say "mommy"... Those kids only know one parent and that is Michael Jackson.... God bless those children and bless them with the strenght to get through all this. We miss you Michael you are in our hearts now and forever. Rest in peace now. God bless.

Ann   July 8th, 2009 9:55 pm ET

His heart was to big for our world so now he is where he can watch over us all....

Pat   July 8th, 2009 10:29 pm ET

OMG……what they did to Michaels children was criminal. All these years, he has shielded those 3 children from all the publicity, press, papparatzi and tried to let them live as normal a life as possible. I say what they did yesterday was criminal is because they (the entire Jackson clan left) exploited those children, just as they were exploited by their father and mother Joe and Katherine Jackson. These poor kids will now live a life of hell being chased by press, rag magazine peoplel, the papparatzi They will be constantly badgered and will not be safe in any enviorment if they are left in the custody of Katherine Jackson.. That was a horrible thing for them to do to those 3 poor innocent children of Michaels. I feel so very sorry for them (the children) and I hope and pray that their birth mother Debbie Rowe fights with all her might to get custody of them and takes them to live in a safe, normal enviornment (and not be exploited……as this was a major concern of hers regarding these children). These children will now live a life full of lies and hate and anguish because they are Michael Jacksons children but mostly because of the complete disrespect and total disregard for Michaels wishes that his children be kept sheltered from the media , public etc. I don’t care what anyone says…….this was sooooo wrong for them to do. So, I hope there is a custody battle and the Jackson’s lose custody of these 3 innocent kids so they might be able to live in some sense of normalcy. When I saw those children in the front row seats with the Jacksons and saw them on stage it made me sick as this was the final insult, the final slap in the face , the final “now we’ll do things our way, not yours”.

And no, I’m not a young nor naive but I am a realist, I can see things for what they are and maybe Debbie Rowe did have the children as a favor to Michael, so what? What a wonderful gift to give someone!! Rosie, a to your response to Bill comment….it seems to me that you are definitely anti Debbie Rowe for some reason or another. And yes, Michael was probably a wonderful father, they were his kids and he loved and protected them at all costs and truth be told……NO, I did not see how close those children were to the Jackson family. I saw a young 11 yr old girl who looked completely uncomfortable in that enviornment and looked horrified as she was egged by the Jackson family to say something into the microphone in front of hundreds of thousands of people. She and her two brothers are being expoilted by Michaels family…plain and simple. These 3 children hardly know any of the Jacksons if, in fact, they know any of them and it should stay that way.

Destini   July 8th, 2009 10:47 pm ET

Michael.. Its so hard to believe you are dead. It feels like your still alive today because your songs and spirit have lifted our hearts. I bet your singing and dancing in heaven right now! We need you but God needs you most. RIP!! we love you!

Ellen-memphis   July 8th, 2009 10:58 pm ET

There should be no question who should raise these children. It is Katherine, which is Michaels' wishes, AND remember–she has already raised a brood of children–nothing new for her. The nanny Grace will be there as well as all of the Jackson family, and don't forget Diana Ross. These children need to be surrounded by a large family–not Debbie Rowe, the dermatologist or anyone else. Joe Jackson can go back to Vegas. This, and only this is what is in the BEST interest of these children!!

First of all, I am so very broken hearted over the passing of our brother Michael.....Although we had never personally met, I feel as though I lost a family member....I, like many, grew up loving, singing, and dancing to his music......We were very close in age....He was only 3 yrs older than I am.....My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especially his 3 beautiful children.....I've been watching news special after news special about Michael's life.....I have no more room to record on my DVR and I just can't erase anything I've recorded.....But while I was watching your show today, I had a thougt that I would love to share with the Jackson family.....I thought it might be a nice idea to show Michael's children how much their father was really loved WORLDWIDE by doing this: On Michael's Birthday, Aug. 29 at 8:29pm, if all of us who truly loved Michael and appreciated the gift he gave us all, we should go outside wherever we might be at that time, and shine a light into the skies for at least one minute.....whether it be by lighter, cell phone, candle, or flashlight.......just like when you're at a concert.....If this would catch on worldwide and the media could somehow capture this on film, what a true tribute this would be.........I believe he is in the heavens looking down on us all.....What a great gift we could give back to Michael.... for him to see the World he touched, all lit up in his memory.......Linda

Thank you CNN and Thank you Larry so much for coverage you did for all these days on Michael Jackson, i did not watch CNN before that and now it my favorit. I really believe Michael Jackson deserve it he trully was one of the kind. I do not understand all this issues with his plastic sergeries, it his buisness and it his face and his body, it none of our buisness and what ever he look like we are always loved him. I did not believe one minute that Michael would do anything to the child ever to hurt the child. He really was framed by scamers and by Media which enjoyed this cercus. And i really believe California should pay for his funeral after all the pain they cost him for no reason at all. They should pay and it still is not enough. He trully was a GOD'S CHILD! who really was trying to help poor, sick, etc. God it hard to believe people like him going so young and God needs them more then we do. It very hard. Thank you Larry and CNN again, keep doing a great job. Forgot one more think what is the problem with his children it was Michael's children and this all what matter, nothing else, it does not matter who is your biological father what the matter is who raised you and who trully love you Michael is their trully Father and Mother at the same time his children just lost both. I cannot emagine how hard it is on them not to see him,not to hear his voice, his jokes. It really sad. And media trying to decide who is the father please guys enough media done enough to destroy his life leave at least kids along and let him rest in peace. My parents divorced when i was 2 years old and have not seen my father sence then, do i need to cosider him a father ? Hell NO! My father is someone else, and always will be. I love Michael Jackson with all my heart and always will. R.I.P. Michael you are truly ONE OF THE GREATEST PEOPLE I HAVE KNOWN! to be so pure and so honest and entertainer at the same time i do not think we can say that about anybody in entertaining buisness, i know i cannot. My sympophy to his children, and to his family. We will always Love Michael ! He will always live in our hearts! Always!

Lori Ann   July 9th, 2009 12:24 am ET

I will defend Michael Jackson until the day I die.

Margaret   July 9th, 2009 2:29 am ET

Larry, I appreciate your coverage on Michael Jackson. The family thanked his fans for being at the service on yesterday. Although I was not their in person, I want to thank them for allowing us to be a part of his funeral service. Michael was like our extended family. No matter how his appearance changed, we knew him as Mike. Mike and I are the same age, but I see him as my little brother because I never allowed him to grow old. In my mind, he is still 20 years old and maybe it's because he didn't aged to me. I shared with my daughter the three stages of events. Martin Luther King planted the seed of the human race coming together without racial barriers, Michael watered and caused the world to break some of those racial barriers by touching the whole world, and now it's up to us to no longer see race, but see people as human beings. Thank you Mike for being that chosen vessel to cause changed in the world.

Michael said with joy "I promise you, this is the final curtain call". He had no ideal what he was saying, but yesterday service proved it was the final curtain call. May the God of peace strengthen and comfort the family in their great loss. You will be greatly missed Mike.

To the Jackson family and all those who love Michael Jackson:

Michael’s memorial had depth, refinement and beauty – all the characteristics he valued, but it didn’t reach the level of WHO he was and is.
He was MORE than his music, although that was the medium through which he expressed. His soul had a Higher Purpose in his short life here that only those “with eyes to see and ears to hear” could discern. It was the following:
He demonstrated through ALL the multidimensional facets of his personality every characteristic of a HIGHLY ADVANCED SOUL: the capacity for deep caring, love, sensitivity and deep feeling, and THAT which was beyond gender and physical limitation.
One could call it “the androgyny of the advanced soul”. He was neither male nor female, but both. He was neither the black race nor white, but both. No, he was not bound nor limited by any of those “human”, three-dimensional physical characteristics. Instead, his soul radiated the limitless, Higher Qualities of Pure Spirit. He was here, as well as now, a soul in Expression.
By the way, the male and female characteristics I have referred to have nothing to do with gender, for those are physical descriptions. Michael radiated the innate, intrinsic male and femaleness of the soul that ALL possess – i.e., the male energy of “will, power”, and the female energy of “love, wisdom”. He demonstrated throughout his entire life the BALANCE of both – which we ALL have to strive for. When achieved, THAT is WHOLENESS – which, of course, is Wholeness of soul Expression while still in the physical body.
That precious soul is now at Home in the dimension from which he originated – “the land of Pure Spirit”… and what a beautiful home it is!

Thank you Larry for this coverage but please try to discourage the media from the discussion of whether Michael was the biological father of his children or not. This discussion can only do one thing: harm MJ's kids. Let Michale Jackson's will be respected otherwise he will be sad. He had enough sadness in his life. Let the kids remain together in the hands of MJ's hands with the help of their former nanny. Janet and Randy are there to oversee – afterall Dr. Klein ascertained that both of them are good. Thanks. Cécile

I am 8 years old from Pakistan. I just want to tell Larry that the death of Michael Jackson has affected my whole family especially my Mummy. She has been crying whenever she sees any news if MJ on TV. I was also a big admirer and I know all his songs by heart. I know there will never be another person like him ever. May God bless his soul. I bet he is dancing with angels in his heavenly abode. I miss him sooooo much!

Ale,it was so beautifull of you,and speachely, couse you knew hem,and came from realy experience.
I am so sad too,i am from hungary, and i read many ivol comments, couse peaples jallus ,spoiled. But still there is many, who have fillings. On this page out of 500 comment only few was negativ, and i am happy about that

Pat   July 9th, 2009 10:36 am ET

To Stu: First of all, I'm trying to figure out if you might be from a country outher than America and don't have a command of the English language, or if you are just not good at typing. Either way....you will never change my mind on where those kids should be....and it is NOT with Katherine Jackson who allowed her natural born children to be abused and exploited. I could barely understand what your response said....it made very little sense to me. Oh, so it's wonderful if a woman gives birth to a baby and gives it to a couple who can't concieve but it's not wonderful that Debby Rowe had these children for Michael Jackson who truly wanted children of his own. Double standard there, don't you think?

To Veronica: I don't know who you think you are but I am not comdeming your opion....everyone one is entitled to their own opinion and you are a very rude person for responding "Shut the H.ll Up!" I suppose it's from God's lips to yours and yours in the only point of view or opinion that is right?! Not so!!!!!! Perhaps your parents should have taught you better manners!

stu   July 9th, 2009 10:50 am ET

I am from Hungary, and my english wrighting is bad,but usually peaples understand, wath i want to say.Sowry about my bad englis wrighting!
And no,its not wunderfull if,anybody giv away tham child. But here she was gat pregnent with knowing, that she will give the kids to Michael. Why she could not be a mam, like other divorsed mam, whay the kids didnt know, that she is tham mam?And now she sould take tham?Probebly not accidentally Michael didnt want her to be tham muther after he dide.
But i take your opinion,we are not seme, and peaples dont think the same.

stu   July 9th, 2009 11:01 am ET

And would you brake up the 3 kids, and give 2 for Debbie, and 1 for Kathrine?

belle bost   July 9th, 2009 11:06 am ET

Mr. Larry King, I have always thought you stood head and shoulders above other journalists, after having seen the way you have treated the Michael Jackson story, you have been even more magnified in my eyes.
Thank you!

Since Michael has passed, it has been as if he was a member of my family. I can hardly say his name or listen to talk about him without crying.

I cannot think of one thing that was not appropriate about his memorial, except that I was not physically there. I wish that the ceremony could be purchased on DVD.... I would love to keep it forever.

I pray that The Lord will bless and keep him and his family. I love Michael.

stu   July 9th, 2009 1:08 pm ET

Thanks,Veronica!
Now i maybe rude, and first of all,i have to say,how much i loved MJ,he was part of my life with hes music, and he was olso a wunderfull perdson,I cryed, whenn he dide, but he did somthings strange.Like this Debby married, and the way to gat the kids.I think, that Debbie did everything for money..I think, she lied in the report Liveing with MJ all the story. How i see Mj was gat just sombody to gat childrens. She did it probebly for money, and thats why she was not the childrens muther. The merried was as long as she coul gat 2 kids, and thann thay divorsed.Mj knowing, that this wooman could gat pregnent, and give away for money, ofcorse MJ would not give her the kids ,couse she dont love tham.I belive, now she want to gat back the kids, couse she hopeing she gat money too.And i dont think, the Jackson family was poushing the litle girl to say anything at the memorial.I only see, that she was feel to tell the world, how much she love her father, and i only see verymuch love from the family too her.I think, the best place is for the kids with them grandmuther, who loved them until now,and still love them, and the kids could stay tugeather too.

TO: Stu

Stu you are so right–TOTALLY! I totally "see" it clearly–just like you; and, I'm sure most of the world. A blind man can see that! No offense to blind folks–it's just a "cliche". It's about a person's character. What's in the heart will come out. I agree with EVERYTHING you said about Debbie Rowe. I agree that the children should be with their GRANDmother!!! I don't care if she is 79. Kathern is in her right mind–Michael knew this! You don't throw away or discredit your elders because they are older, you just help them because they are older. Most parents around the world rely on their parents (their children's grandparents) to help them raise their children. And, besides, they have plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins too keep them all happy–and, most importantly, TOGETHER. Love to Prince Michael, Paris, and Blanket. Stu, I wish we could stay in touch, but since this is a blog, it's not wise to reveal our emails or contact information. I hope the moderator reads all my posts and all your posts and somehow through Larry King LIVE connect us!–especially, since we tune into his news show. I've never posted anything on blogs until Michael Jackson's passing. This is my first time using blogs because of Michael Jackson. I felt that I owed it to the Jacksons to be a voice for them, to let them know how much I appreciate all of them, and to encourage them to stay strong through opposition because God Almighty is on their side. There is no perfect family. The Jacksons, through their family-bond, served nations and poured out of their hearts and souls what God invested within them. The world/nations are the beneficiaries of the Michael Jackson's love, care, and constant messages that "heal the world". His consistent demonstration of God-like love for children. Something that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ encouraged us to do. "Suffer the children to come to me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven". Michael Jackson is not a God. He had God-like love for the world. We Love you Michael Jackson. We love the Jacksons! Peace & Blessings to you.

stu   July 9th, 2009 2:25 pm ET

No,no,you did not offened with nothing,i undesrtand your point too,and i agree with that, thay should not show tham face,if MJ did it that way with good reason, but i try to see the situation with everything togeather, wats best for the childrens, and i my eyes Debbie Row is the worsed person.

stu   July 9th, 2009 2:29 pm ET

And i hope, thet this shoing the face will not effekt them life.Slowly-slowly them story will be not the most inportent news, peaples going to forgat partly about them, and thay can live normal life.Wth peaples will not forgat is MJ music, and wath he did.

TO: Pat

I said what I said–and meant it. Keep your opinion. I'll keep mine. And, yes. I do love the Lord. I am human just like you so don't judge me lady on how I express myself cause everybody isn't going to be "la-de-da" during conversations. Jesus understands that...that's why He's our Saviour and no one else. Lastly, don't get it twisted...I'm not going to let you rudely say what you want about my parents and be ok with it! I read your last post on how you apologized for what you said about my parents, and, I forgive you. I am so done "chatting" with you about this. Peace.

I've been hearing from individual sources the same amazing news. That the original accuser has recently recanted his story about Michael's alleged abuse. He has suddenly developed a conscience? Better late than never, I suppose.
If this story is real, I appeal to CNN and Larry King to INVESTIGATE. THIS IS NEWS, although not a surprise to those of us who know Michael could never commit such acts. WHY IS THE MEDIA SILENT ON THIS?
It is time for all of us who love Michael Jackson to demand the TRUTH be finally admitted – the truth that those of us not sucked into the media "feeding frenzy", ongoing for the past 15 years at least, always knew. MICHAEL IS INNOCENT.

Like everyone who loves Michael, and who but the tabloid mud slingers don't, I will always miss his presence in this world. He made it a more civilized place – and that isn't easy to do – his gentle smile and immense talent moved mountains. I know he is at peace but I don't believe he is resting. How could he not be at peace now? He finally IS in never land – for real. No pain, no sorrow, and finally FREE.

Free to be himself and be understood and loved UNCONDITIONALLY for who he is...finally! He could not achieve this state on earth, but where he is now, all is beauty and Light...just the kind of world he tried to create for us with his music and compassionate soul. At rest? Not in my view. I'm sure he's dancing up a storm, enjoying the honors he so richly deserves! Celebrating his graduation from a world that appreciated but didn't understand him...and he has graduated with honors!

Best of all, he is free from the torment he endured for so many years, at the hands of a vicious and predatory tabloid press. Constantly vilified by these media sharks, Michael, out of all the people in this world, was least deserving of these constant attacks. Attacked for his uniqueness, attacked for his changing appearance, attacked on the basis of charges of molestation that never happened – he was aquitted on all counts – AND FOR WHAT?? RATINGS?

And they're still at it!! Like vultures swooping down to pick the flesh from his bones, the rags are already spreading their new cycle of sleaze about Michael. I hope that no true fan of Michael's will spend one dime on these tabloid sleaze publications. They tormented him endlessly, they don't DESERVE our money for their lies. THEY are the freaks– NOT Michael!

Michael is FREE. I hope his soul continues to soar into the Light and he doesn't look back. He has found his heaven. I feel certain that those who abused him in this world are going to a very DIFFERENT place when their time comes.
