TROUBLED diva Whitney Houston secretly paid a $400,000 ransom demand to kidnappers who threatened to kill her ex-husband Bobby Brown, a bombshell new book claims.

Brown was snatched and held “naked and hog tied” at gunpoint by members of a notorious New York street gang known as the Preacher Crew, according to author David Collins.

He was later allowed to make one phone call to Whitney, in which he pleaded with her to personally deliver the ransom to an abandoned building in the Bronx.

Disguised in a wig and dark glasses, the terrified singer obeyed, and handed over a duffle bag containing the cash 24 hours later to 6ft 7in gang boss Clarence “Preacher” Heatley, says Collins.

He claims the kidnapping, which was never reported to police, happened in April 1993 when Whitney was at the peak of her fame with her film The Bodyguard and its soundtrack album, both huge hits. Unlike the movie, however, in which Kevin Costner co-starred as her heroic minder, Whitney was forced to face her then husband’s kidnappers alone to hand over the ransom before they were both allowed to walk away free.

I understand we deployed two missile-interceptor ships from South Korea on March 30, 2009, days ahead of a Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) rocket launch. Japan stated they would shoot down any debris in their air space and the DPRK said there would be war if anyone including the US tried to interfere with their missile launch. Japan, South Korea and the US see the launch as a long-range missile test that violates UN sanctions.

Now the DPRK has the ability to send a missile to the US. I have major concerns about the DPRK. My home is only 175 miles from North Korea.

American journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee were picked up by North Korean border guards two weeks ago. Ling and Lee were journalists for former Vice President Al Gore. The DPRK said they will put these two on trial. (( This is NOT good ))

Houston's only mistake was that she paid the money.

WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!! the guy is a total LOSER he knows better he has disgraced the houston brand name he acts as if he is god's gift to the world, he has not produced any songs or has done nothing positive for the sake of his once beautiful wife and their children. WHITNEY you should have married kevin cosnar from the your movie the "BODY GUARD", your life would have been beautiful, positive, and prosperous if you did.

BUT, sometimes life sucks and you have to put up with a lot of crap and you have to play the hand you have been delt but only you will know when the fat lady sings and when it's time to throw out the crap before its's to late.
