could you verify and do a show on the Motion Picture Home in Woodland Hills. I read in the LA times that the home is closing and the residents are being displaced. Supposedly chair Jeffery Katzenberg says the home is 10M in debt.

the closing of this facility is an abomination. Many of us who have worked for years as guild members always thought the home would be our final place with friends from our industry.

i am sure a fundraiser could raise the money to keep the doors open and the residents at peace in their older ages.

please join me in getting the word out. The motion picture home can not close. in an industry where many people make enormous amounts of money, we should be able to keep this lovely place OPEN!!

Here we go again. "Let the games begin!" What three-ring circus are we going to see this time?

There are those that say President Obama doesn't have a sense of humor, I disagree, he has shown light insights to it, as President he probally wishs to stay Presidental in public times and remain professional, that is to be respected... during a luncheon at inaugration time, President Obama made the following joke," Rahm Emanuel during one of his first jobs sliced his middle finger on a meat slicer, he was almost mute for a week."

During Presidental Campaign he once said excuse me my Blackberry ringing, must be my wife....

Anyways Rahm Emanuel be hard to replace, but I feel Senators elected to higher offices should have a voice and a choice in who replaces them as it was We The Peoples Votes that put them in office, who would be more qualified to choose their replacement, than the person originaly elected, till the next election.

I think Rahm Emmanuel ought to throw his hat back in the ring. Between his phones calls with Governor Blago and now his 6am phone calls everyday to George Stephanoplous, James Carver and Paul Begala to handle the media and spin. He is a time bomb waiting to embarrass President Obama.

You know there is a shortage of jobs out there and Obama is even talking about controlling CEO bonuses-my own opinion is a change in the tax laws that are allowing these guys and gals to keep most of the cash would be much more appropriate-but Congress seems to be the only place left where you can sell your soul for a huge price-Be sure to read "The Devil and Daniel Webster"-highly recommended for what is going on in Government and Wallstreet...Personally, most of these guys have a soul that would need a microscopic matchbox!
