Rove: Welcome to the White House, Mr. Obama

Posted: 11:23 AM ET

By Karl Rove

On Tuesday, America can take pride in a special transfer of power as Barack Obama becomes the first African-American to be sworn in as president.

Shortly after the ceremony, the new president's aides will slip away to inspect the offices they now inhabit. They've put much of their lives on hold to take jobs that will last, for most, two or three years. Hours will be long, pressure unrelenting, decisions momentous, and families often neglected. Every American should respect their sacrifices.

What these aides will soon realize is that they aren't history, but passing through it. I learned that from an elderly man who told me "to honor the house" as he emptied my trash bin late my first day at work.

Racism spreads to all races of all origin. Especially against white people. The majority is really the minority giant of all races. I don't beleive that being black means you're born into racism. That's absurd. Our president elect refutes that claim in itself! The people yelling racism are usually the ones with the problem and the ones with the big chip on there shoulder!

Becoming a proponent of a cause based on the Economy such as chasing Riches and Prosperity for a Nation while undermining wholesome family values and the sanctity of the Life (Human body and spirit) should not be a fruitful rewarding job.. But simply a justification to either show proof that the lesson has not being learned yet or … Maybe Obama can tell us!!

I am so PROUD to b an Obama supporter right from the start! Whatever happens, i am in a PARTY mood for Jan 20, and the only thing i regret is that i can't be in washington ... 🙁

Let Racism' be something from the past from now on!!!

God Bless the Obama's.

Refering to a quote from Mark Twain (A NATION IS ONLY AN INDIVIDUAL MULTIPLIED). How true. Of the 43 Presidents to this date, all have made mistakes, some larger than others. All have done some good things, some greater than others. Let us all hope that the on-comming 44th President will do more good things and make less mistakes. We, as a Nation will make the difference in Mr. Obama's success by our support for the good things he can and will do, and by not dwelling day after day on the mistakes he will make.

I really could care less what Karl Rove has to say about welcoming Barack Obama to the White House, although I read his entire article. However, I do care very much about telling Karl Rove goodbye and good riddance! Oh, Fiddlesticks! Karl will continue to play with dischordant tones and keep inspiring America with deep sincerity. Karl Rove will orchestrate major "words of encouragement," for Obama and America with a symphony of inspired rhetoric. I thought most of us just wanted to see Mr. Rove go to jail! So much for wishful thinking.

Karl.....enough of the platitudes........between Scooter Libby, the flaunting of the Congressional subpeonas in the firing of US Attorneys, and the partisan unethical take down of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman.....Please do something positive for our country and help T. Boone Pickens with his alternative energy plan in our next 4 years!!
