My Two Cents: From the Desk of Larry King

Posted: 01:56 PM ET
  • Jimmy Kimmel is a now a force to reckoned with in Late Night television...
  • People who sing the National Anthem before sporting events should NEVER go over 2 minutes with their rendition...
  • "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is a great film with performances that are totally compelling...
  • Even with instant replay, NFL officials still get some calls wrong...
  • Tina Fey deserves the front cover of Vanity Fair...
  • I am looking forward to Tom Cruise in "Valkyrie"
  • Why don't we just bail out EVERYBODY and get on with it...
  • If you see Dick Cheney, ask him to call, because his sandwiches are spoiling...
  • I would change our National Anthem from the tone poem it is now, to "America the Beautiful."
  • Does anybody not like Robert Gates?
  • If you pin me down, my favorite color is orange...
  • If you're going to the inaugural, don't count on good weather...
  • I've gotten everything in my life I've ever wanted, except having fortune cookies with items from this column...
  • With modern technology, and everything they can do, why can't they make a healthy NY Cheesecake...
  • The one country I haven't seen that I'd love to go to is Australia... (And I am not talking about the movie...)
  • Primetime television must be slipping... because I am on an upcoming edition of "30 Rock"

Yes Larry

I can't wait for that movie (Valkyrie) to come out, I am a real World War II/Hitler buff so I am waiting to see how true to history it will be.

Also Larry Juniors Cheesecake which I hear is very popular in NY has a Low Carb Cheesecake and its good.

Come on Larry, 30 Rock is great laughs, and they're fortunate to have you as a guest. I must confess though, I can't stand all these reality shows and dancing with the stars stuff–sorry contestants. Those shows are cheap hollywood productions. Larry, maybe you can be the middleman and iron out the big problem in Hollywood with writers and producers. Fix that, then we all can be happy again and get all the satisfaction and self-loathing we desire watching 30 minute comedy Monday through Friday. Comedy is not pretty! (not my quote–someone else's)

Of course we have been in a recession for almost a year. Everyone except today's panel of expert economists have known this for a long time. This is the "news" that Wall Street reacted in shock to today? These no-regulation guys are dumber than dumb.

imagine a republican would not endorse, support or positively comment on hillary clinton as the newly appointed sec of state.
it's back to partisan politics as usual.

this one goes out to ari fleischer.

Federal Reserve is talking about lowering interest rate . I know they have lowered the rate several times in the past couple year ,but
how come they never lower interest rate on the credit card interest ?,

This is not fair, if the banks get the lower rate , the credit card banks should lower their rate on consumers especially on majority of people in the US who owe huge debts , otherwise, it would not help the economy. We are stuck paying huge interest every month and the principal goes down just very little .

We, middle people still owe huge debt with very high interest rate which we probably will never pay off.
Fed Reserve should demand all the banks to lower credit card interest rate to help the consumers. Thats my two cents!
