The land of the free and home of the brave. OK, but when are we going to stop saying that anything people want to do is OK. What's next? Are we going to start saying that being a pedifille is OK too. This country is carrying this equality thing just too far......These civil rights groups are having a hard time justifing their jobs I suppose..

Larry, Saw the Program Last Night-
Bottom Line- If There is a God That has Defined Right & Wrong & He Says Homosexuallity is wrong Just like Adultry, Lieing, Murder,Theft,Incest, Etc. Then It is Wrong Period & even if 6,000,000,000 people say it is Ok,Right,Good It will be WRONG & those practicing those things must as individuals stand before that God & give an account
Jesus Preached saying "REPENT!" "Go & SIN NO MORE" . It is Written
" If You do not warn the Wicked & they Die in their Sins-THEIR BLOOD will I REQUIRE at YOUR HANDS, But If I WARN the Wicked & they do not repent & die in their Sins Then My hands are clean & Their Blood will be on their own heads".

I was bullied too; however, the problem is nobody lives by the golden rule anymore.,

Spouse of Bullied   October 5th, 2010 12:04 pm ET

Bullying hurts more than just the bullied. My husband was bullied during all of his elementary school years. His mother would not allow him to fight back–he was made to take the abuse. On the day he graduated from elementary school he beat up his abusers. He has been fighting ever since. Because of feelings of worthlessness, he does anything he can to feel surperior to everyone he meets. He thinks people are out to get him. His response to even a question is rage, and he will never back down. He lacks empathy for others and is focused only on himself. He has no friends because people soon find that he does not care about them or their lives. Worst of all, he is verbally abusive to his family. The boys who bullied him in elementary school changed a shy, normal child into a sick adult who cannot stop ruining his own life, and the life of anyone around him.

Doesn't Kathy Griffin make a living at 'bullying' everyday? Kathy, albeit a comic, aggressively jokes about celebrity mishaps and behaviors and profits from it. Call it what you want, but the one being laughed at, or about is being bullied.

And that's an undisputable truth. But go ahead and laugh at it Kathy.

I totally do not agree that trying to reason with a bully is the best way to deal with the problem

For the most part bullies are cowards, they only exist while in a pack like wild dogs.

It has been proven scientifically that if you kill the leader of the pack the pack will disperse and run away.

The bully cannot exist on his own because without the backing of the pack he will run away as well.

Bleeding hearts will tell you that the best way to deal with a (BULLY/COWARD) is to try and reason with him.

My question is that if you are being attacked by a pack of wild dogs should you try and reason with them??

Only a fool would take that position, and in the end die for his/her stupidity.

Bullies need to be treated like what they are (A PACK OF WILD DOGS)
Beat them if there is no other choice, but never give in to them, because if you do, you do so at your own peril.

Time for the oppressed to turn around and confront the agressor.

Our military leaders are all bullies and the result of their bullying tactics many young and innocent Americans have paid the price for being part of the pack run by bullies.

Trust me "IT'S AN ABSOLUTE TRUTH"

After listening to this program, I thought it was interesting to know people are willing to stand up and speak out for others. However, I disagreed when Church and priest was pointed out as encouraging bullies; also, to say it is not a person choice to be homosexual. I think it is the prerogative of the Church or the Priest to decide.
When I was growing up, girls liked me and I liked them, but I could not find a girlfriend, I was confused and wanted to know if I was homosexual. I be friendly guys who were, we went to night Club and everyone thought I was homosexual. Consequently I was not, I felt displace and suicidal because, I was not happy with the environment I found myself in. Now I am happy that I did not do something that I will have to live the rest of my life regretting and hiding a dark secret. I emperies with the priest or the church for not encourage homosexual. The church helped me from noting making a mistake I will regret.
I have been bullied many times and I am not Gay. I want to share an incident that happened recently to a friend of mine. She is a CNA working the 12-8 shift. She is leaving the comfort of her home to take care of the wounded and senior patient. She is sacrificing time and making effort to provide for her family; her husband got layoff and two kids in collage. An incident happened to her, which should never have happened in this civilized world that we live in today.
One night while on her way to work, she was happily walking down Liberty Ave in Queens, New York. Thinking to herself, her daughter has to get school supplies and the rent is almost due; planning how to meet the demand on Friday (payday). As she passes by the bar on the Ave, three adult male were following her and making remarks by calling her names. In the spur of the moment, she turnaround and said, “Your mother is one”. The men then got angry and started reacting, she got scared and to prevent an issue, she walk away without turning around. Getting to the train station, she called me to get some comfort.
Not only homosexual are bullied. It is no one’s choice to be male or female because it was nature’s choice; but, you can choose you type of pleasure. I will justify gayest by saying that, due to some abnormal neurological signal transmitted from the Adrenal Gland and excess adrenal secretion of Androgen (male hormone) or Estrogen (female hormone) leads to Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia and causes Virilism in female who develops male characteristics and male with female tendencies. Nevertheless, not everyone who is confuse about his or her gender, suffers with this abnormality. I do believe that it is unethical to bully anyone and it is a person civil rights to choose what is best for him or her. However, we should not blame a person who is straight because they avoid a person with an annoying attitude.

I live in the U.K. and have been following PROP 8 and Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and I have been showing this to my gay friends, I constantly question people who belittle gay people, and ask how it would affect their lives, they have no answer!!

My best friend's are gay males and I have been there while they have suffered gay bullying, I have been the only person to stand up to the bullies! Ignorant people!

I am a STRAIGHT female, GAY RIGHTS!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!! I wanna see PROP 8 and DADT reaplled! And this is coming from the U.K.

Hi larry king to stand up to bullying in schools and workplace just walking home after work

Jeanine   October 6th, 2010 10:12 am ET

Thank you for this wonderful and much needed discussion. Every time a law is passed and rights are denied, it sends a message to this country that people who are gay are different and wrong. It needs to stop and society needs to stop ignoring the deep seeded causes of these issues. Thank you Larry King and panelists!

Every person has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; including homosexuals. I find it ironic that the United States broke away from Britian to secure these freedoms yet Britian allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military and marry while the United States doesn't. Homosexuals are citizens who pay taxes and therefore should have every state and federal service that heterosexual tax payers recieve. Their life style effects no one but themselves (unlike anti-gay bullys and certain political/religous leaders) and so couldn't have a negative impact on society. If nothing else, it would make society more tolerant, compassionate and less judgemental. And since Christ preached about tolerance, compassion, and acceptance; I would think the Christian community would be more excited and eager to practice what they preach.
