She braced for consequences, and she got them.

Lindsay Lohan is headed back to jail a third time – and this may be the longest stay – after failing a mandatory drug test.

In a hearing Friday, the judge in her DUI case denied bail for the actress and ordered her held in custody until an Oct. 22 hearing.

Lohan, 24, said nothing and looked stunned as she stood, was handcuffed and led away by sheriff's deputies out a side door. She was crying as she was placed in an unmarked police car and driven toward the women's jail in Lynwood, Calif.

The usually slap on the wrist is not working...what she needs is to do her time and go through rehab...take away the stardom, the money , the fame...treat her just like everyone else would be treated...please do not do her any favors...she needs tough love...I hope the best for her.

Lindsay seems to think that addictions are diseases that can’t be cured overnight. She’s very wrong!

4 or 5 hours after promising Jesus Christ that I would never smoke again, daylight broke. I had been a smoker for 26 years.

And another thing.
When talking about Rehab. The best in the business say that you can’t do it for others because it will never work. That you have got to do it for yourself. I reject that notion also because it’s also false and basically unproven.

Let understand and recognize something.
Exchanging one addiction for another on a temporary basis is more likely than not something very common and doable for the devil.. But if you want to get rid of an addiction/sin your best and only bet is to get in touch with Jesus Christ. (But you would have to be totally honest with Him, and not just try to make a fool out of Him and then give up.)

Thanks and good day

What would a fair legal decision be in the case of Lindsay Lohan.

In my opinion.

Lock her up, and throw away the key, after she has been medically checked over for her STD condition before she is allowed to ingle with other female prisoners.

It does not matter what we do. She will not get sober until she is ready.

I think that she is really disturbed and all this rehab might not help.she needs to do some soul searching herself.

When Paris Hilton blows or snorts herself into breaking her probation period, perhaps a PR session could be created by placing both Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton into co-jail cells.

If they keep this out, the adult entertainment industry is probably the only employer willing to put up the insurance and senseless scripts for either of these lady's to work.

Perhaps Brittney Spears can come to their rescue in a reality show, that would be entirely fitting in the mind numbing television drama's of today.

So everyone formerly stated that the decision is hers and to get better she should not have decisions but be forced through steps to get better and that JC is the answer.

To begin, through this we have learned that she has support. Her dad supports her, for example, Her attorney, Rosenberg (also on LCL) supports her. Many fans support her. On the other hand, some don't support her and state that "tough love" is her only cure to the disease. For example, in these blogs, almost everyone says that she should be jailed and be sent to rehabilitation and be given the full treatment to recover. There's alot of support and alot of criticism of/for Mrs. Logan.

I wish her the best. For example, I know Ms. Logan is going to jail. I know she was denied bail. I know she will complete a full jail sentence. I know she failed a drug test. I hope she finds the strength in jail to complete the treatment. I hope she will recover and not do drugs again. I know that society wishes the best for her, like I do. She has talent and skills of acting which made her great. Once she gets better she can continue her career.

We have prisons filled with drug addicts. If placing drug addicts in prison would make them sober, we would not have so many drug addicts in prison.

Drug addiction is tragic as it destroyed not only the life of the individual, but all the people this person has touched, family and friends.

@ Joe G. of illnoise

I am happy to learn that you have such a great connection to that wonder boy! Stopping to smoke is just too easy.
Do us, common people, a favour and request the following:
No more hunger on this planet,
no more wars,
no more crime and discontent,
no more hate and surpression.

If you get only half of these I will visit with you every bible school you attend. Otherwise leave the preaching to those professional liers who make a fortune on the stupidity of other people.
