Laura Bush Supports Gay Marriage, Abortion

Watching Ms. Laura on this book tour has heightened my interest in her and respect for her on her view points/opions.

Wow ! some nerves she still does not get it does she? Are we to feel sorry for Laura Bush ? What is this book relay,relay about? Is she planning to give all the money from her book to the innocent victims of the war her husband created? When did Laura Bush have an audience with God? Are the innocent victims not heard by God because they have been silenced?

I knew there were problems with the Bush family but I didn't
that Laura was part of the problem.

Listening to Laura Bush's interviews re: her book...I'm quite impressed with her. Why do people judge her for her husband's presidency. This is a book about her..the good & the bad. I'm certain the guilt she carries with her everyday for going thro' that stop sign..is unimagineable. And to have it happen to a friend of hers...i give her credit that she was able to get on with her life. I had a friend in high school..the same thing happened to her except in her vehicle one of her friends was injured severely, was in a coma for 3 months & then died. The driver of the other car was killed. Almost all the students in the high school turned against her ...there were only a few of us that supported her. I always admired her for having the strength to just not give up all hope. the H–L that she has carried for all those years is unimagineable. Has there not been a day that you've been driving when your mind isn't 100 % 0n the road..whether it be because of anger, sadness ,or something wonderful that just by luck we didn't go thro' that stop sign,red light!!!

maybe the problem some have with gay marriage is the fear that few women will choose men when given the option of a woman for a life partner.

Revisionist History spinners like Karl Rove and Laura Bush that are glorifying the horrific Bush family big oil legacy seem to largely avoid their direct role in invading Iraq to settle a family feud between Bush sr. and Saddam Hussein.

Another horrific Bush family big drug legacy is that during both Bush sr and Bush jr's time in the White House, illegal drug trade greatly increased in both South America and in Afghanistan with the CIA allegedly smack in the middle of the major 'drug export players'.

Bush sr. had been a former director of the CIA during the time of widespread accusations of human rights abuses against civilians thru-out South America which were championed by Pope John Paul I who apparently was murdered only 33 days in office just as Bush sr. was 'officially' leaving the directorship of the CIA.

During Bush jr's time in office ALL 34 provinces across Afghanistan were growing as much Opium Poppy's as they possibly could. NOW with the horrific Bush-Cheney out of office there are only 5 provinces in all of Afghanistan still growing Opium Poppy's.

And in what appears to be a blessing from the Creator, a fungus has spread across the remaining Opium Poppy fields which attacks the roots of the Opium Poppy plants killing them off. It is entirely likely the Karzai Clan who are rumored to be major Opium-Heroin exporters are unhappy with this 'turn of events'. It is just as likely the CIA is unhappy with the drying up of those Billions of untraceable dollars for their nefarious purposes as well.

It's hard to say what Laura Bush thinks about the horrific Bush Family values, the CIA drug connections, the death of Pope John Paul I, flooding the world with Heroin from Afghanistan's enormous Opium-Poppy fields and the revenge on Saddam Hussein for his alleged attempt to murder Bush sr. when he visited Kuwait.

However, it is utter nonsense to think she wasn't entirely aware of each of those huge global events as they unfolded within her own family and its members.

…she did not learn! It is all about the easy way out, THEIR emotions, about how they feel and how she and George get out of their responsibilities! They are just rich people that had everything always coming to them. No concern for normal people. The tens of thousands of dead and destroyed lives around the world (not just that of our solders) and the enormity of these bad decisions have never hit the sport with her! And all this due to the luck of honesty, intelligence; real willingness to work speaks out of Laura Bush just as it was seen in George. Perhaps they should have listened to some of the critic that was very justified instead of being offended by it! If they would have thought only half as much about the “people” as they did for their friends, things might have been a little different. But, Laura and George just did not know any better. So, as still typically GOP today, they became what they wanted to be: The best White House MONEY could buy.

Dear Mrs Bush, thank you for finally opening up and speaking your mind. I always wondered what you actually believed about gay marriage and abortion among other things. I wish you had been able to voice your opinion much sooner. As a Canadian who loves America and it's people, I pray that more women of influence like yourself help move your fine nation into th 21st century. You have such a gracefull way about you....all class.

A good interview. I saw the Larry King interview. its good a woman like her can stand strong with her own views. Laura Bush is a educator, I thought she was totally one of the most gracious first ladies I have ever seen, I always felt like the President did one good thing , when he married this woman. , he is lucky to have such a wife.
