Greetings Larry, CNN Staff and fellow bloggers,

I wonder what Snoop's advise is for Tiger Woods?

With rap music dieing out in the music mainstream these days, what does Snoop Dog think is the musical direction of the future?

With the extreme violence of the Mexican Cartels interlaced with Gangster Rap, does Snoop Dog take any personal responsibility for the murder, mayhem and violence which gangster rap inspires in the Chicago youth?

mathgenius   December 24th, 2009 6:36 pm ET

Um okay. Rap is not dying or dieing in the music mainstream. You probably just aren't listening to the right stations. In fact, the #1 song on the billboard charts right now as we speak is by Jay-Z, who is a rapper, and it is a rap song. Lately it's been common for rappers to team up with singers for hit songs, but all of it is the hip-hop genre anyway.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 9:58 pm ET

Good Evening Larry King, CNN staff, and other bloggers Wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday Season

Ah, waving to A. Smith, Oregon! Good Evening. Nice to see you here!

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:08 pm ET

Hey Dodie good to see you again and good evening everyone else...Happy Holidays!

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:12 pm ET

@Mathgenius it has declined quite a bit since the day of its prime.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:13 pm ET

Good evening Brandon! Very nice to see you. Have a wonderful Holiday season! Any plans for tomorrow?

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:14 pm ET

Yup of course...hanging out with the family and spend some good quality time and having some fun watching my daughter open some presents :-D.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:16 pm ET

How old is your daughter. I am hoping to see my son tomorrow even though he is as old as you are 🙂

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:17 pm ET

LOL You don't know how old I am....or do you? I guess we had a conversation about when I was in the Navy and what years and blah blah...

She's 5! Have a boy on the way too.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:18 pm ET

Its a wonderful experience watching your young child open presents. I suspect you will have as much fun as she will,

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:19 pm ET

Always do....these animals are cool...This is an interesting show on larry king tonight.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:20 pm ET

Brandon... I figure you are in your 30s and so is my son.

Awe, 5 is such a cute age! They are so curious at that age. How wonderful...

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:21 pm ET

LOL Then I'd suppose you'd be amazed if you knew how old I was then...because it's not in my 30s...sounds like your boy has some years on me....

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:21 pm ET

Its a repeat, but still nice. I am moving between LKL and CCTV at the moment.

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:22 pm ET

Why do people feel the need to have extreme pets? I remember someone in cincinnati had a pet tiger in his apartment...lasted a while until it messed him up....

"Bad kitty...no...bad.....wait...what are you doing...AHHH!" lol.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:23 pm ET

LOL Brandon... You must have been really young when you were in the Navy! You seem to have the energy and patience of a person in their 20s but one just never knows these days ...

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:24 pm ET

Brandon... have you ever thought of being a "stand up comic"

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:25 pm ET

Yeah I was 18 when I joined...was in for five years....I only finished up earlier this year actually...So I'm 23 lol...I've accomplished a lot and fool a lot of people though...it's fun.

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:25 pm ET

Nope....I don't think I could think up a whole routine to do...and can't always be funny on my feet...lol...

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:26 pm ET

What would you like to pursue now? College, types of work? CNN monitor lol

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:27 pm ET

Well I was an IT in the Navy...still doing the same thing...So now I'm working on College (starting in spring) and working on some more certifications too.

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:28 pm ET

I would take one of those mini desert foxes as a pet though....lol pretty easy to take care of you would think since they don't need to drink water and get everything they need from little worms and what not they find to eat...

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:28 pm ET

Are you working for A+ or MCSE?

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:29 pm ET

Are you referring to Meerkats?

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:30 pm ET

I have my Security + ...not really worried about A + since my experience speaks louder than it will. Network + or Project + would be my next shot at any CompTIA Certs....but I'm going to start working towards MCSE ....would love to just at least have an MCSA. Getting there though...I didn't get it nice like some...in the Navy there wasn't any time or bandwidth on a boat for online classes or time to get certified...busy busy busy...what free time I had I decided was MY free time...lol...

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:31 pm ET

Meerkats have a natural immunity to scorpions and very poisonous snakes. I thought it would be something we could devote some research on without killing them....

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:32 pm ET

No not Meerkats...he was talking about a Desert Fox...it's the smallest fox in the world...

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:35 pm ET

You can challenge classes in college, meaning if you know the information, you can take the final which will make it much faster for you to get through. I always took course over-load as I was too impatient for the slow process of graduation. Of course, that was years ago. lol Now I just enjoy plugging along! My friends say, I am anything but plugging, but I feel I have really slowed down.

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:36 pm ET

Chevy is sure making a bigger deal about their On Star system that they've had for a long time now....I guess they have to attract customers with something they actually offer that other's don't lol.

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:37 pm ET

Ah, I was on CCTV watching their (congress) meeting about their economy! So I missed what LKL was doing.

You are back East, if I remember correctly. What school do you plan on attending

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:38 pm ET

Yeah I know about that...but honestly I don't know where I'm at still...I know High School was only 6 years ago for me...but...even when I was there I didn't really do anything other than what was required to get by...I was lazy and didn't care...Being Married, having a child, and Joining the Navy was pretty good for me lol.

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:39 pm ET

that is a big beaver....

Dodie   December 24th, 2009 10:39 pm ET

A friend just came over which just flew in from NY So, TTYL I have been trying to get him to come into LKL

Brandon   December 24th, 2009 10:40 pm ET

See ya...

Isn't this blog about Snoop?? Anyway...

Larry, good thing you didn't finish the chicken and waffles, especially with your past medical issues. All that butter on those waffles can't be good for the ticker. 🙂

I know Snoop loves Roscoe's, but that greasy stuff has a way of catching up with you!

Thieu   December 25th, 2009 3:39 am ET

It's great to hear Larry King voice and see him. I like his way of talk and would like to share my comments to him. Congratulations!

A. Smith, Oregon   December 25th, 2009 4:00 am ET

Woaw, the Pope took a royal dump during the midnight Mass tonight. Apparently a woman that was upset with the pope leaped over a security barrier and yanked him by the robes to the ground. He toppled forward along with another Cardinal in a inglorious pile.

I'm surprised some of the audience didn't start laughing out loud. The Pope didn't appear to have been harmed or scraped up by the sudden flop to the ground and with several bodyguards helping him up off the floor, he continued to stroll in and give his literagy for Christmas Mass.

mathgenius   December 25th, 2009 12:59 pm ET

If hip-hop has declined in mainstream, then what took its place? I still happen to hear new hip-hop songs on the radio all the time. Of course, I don't listen to rock stations, but then again maybe you don't listen to hip-hop stations. I'm just curious how you can back that up when the top billboard hits are clearly still often hip-hop.

Christine   December 25th, 2009 4:55 pm ET

The Christmas show with Sting on it was the best show EVER!

A. Smith, Oregon   December 25th, 2009 7:48 pm ET

With the first family skipping Christian Churches this Christmas, I imagine Republican party purists and their self-labeled preachers, ministers et. al. will try to make that into a big deal, yawn!

Bible Thumpers already denounce President Obama as the servant of the Christian 'devil'. I would imagine their daily sermons of hate, sulfur and lakes of fire will now include the fact that President Obama is too impure to attend Christian Churches during Christmas.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the faux entertainment pseudo News Fox network with Glen Beck and Bill O'Reily showing pictures of President Obama with horns and a pitchfork to their dwindling viewers along with the scant news report that the first family chose to not attend any Christian Churches during Christmas.

There is more faith in any healthy forest than found in the most ornate Christian Church anywhere in the world.

Luis B Rosario   December 26th, 2009 12:00 am ET

The Obamas must have a extreme excuse to justify why they
did not attend any Christian Church(es) Christmas day. Otherwise
I don't the reason why.

Re Tiger Woods
I don't see why everybody and their grandma is interested in
giving Tiger Woods advice. He doen't seem to be in need
of advice. What he needs is rest, Rest from the blood hounds
hyenas and wolves that are waiting for him to fall so that they
can finish him to shreds. I believe that most of the persecution
has been done by White commentators ,White comedian
and White correspondents. I wonder why. I guess that if
they destroy this "icon" (celebrity)-it is one more minority
that they got out of the way. I'm not implying that this MO
(this trend) is manifested (exhibited ) by the White majority
but the pondits who make great profits from innuendo and
infamy.

Re: Tiger Woods
Everybody and his/her grandmother want to give Tiger

White commentators, White Comedians and White

unprecedented assault against Woods. These are
the pondits who profit greatly from innuendo and infamy.

a public response to ESPN's Rick Riely's article "Tiger Slam II"

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=reilly_rick&id=4765227

Now is the time for US . . .this is our world of sports – our world of men – and our world of "adults" who know without a doubt we commit unnecessary grief for ourselves, our loved ones and most problematic . . . our children.

This is finally a global moment of inspection of our Moral behavior.

I can sympathize with those who will jeer Tiger on the tee – who are so incensed about his failure to be who we thought he was . . . who we needed him to be . . .who we wanted him to be . . a man of honor, integrity and accountability. . . and WE discovered he was not.

So now the challenge . . . for all for all of us . . . we wait . . . we can only hope Tiger is listening to Us. . is watching US . . . and knows without a doubt we expect him to come back and handle this hidden Global Human Error in Judgment = TO CHEAT.

We make the un-inspected assumption we, "Adults" have Moral integrity . . . we will find out very soon a whole lot about our adult culture . . . and it ALL hinges on Tigers apology and how and when that is handled – or not.

He owes us the opportunity to see how we will react AGAIN to his life now inspected for a quality of life we rarely talk about . . . our Moral Integrity and Adult Understanding and our ability to understand our Forgiveness.

Oh one more thing . . . "the first moment when. . ."

When the jeering begins for the first time – and there will be a first time and it will be on TV – and We will All Be There when the first person does it Live . . . and THAT MOMENT will be the moment for Tiger to really demonstrate his maturity by how he handles that moment.

If Tiger understands what is happening to all of us right then – what he and WE have created – what that moment means to all of us . . . he should STOP . . . address THAT person immediately – in front of all of us . . . stop the social game of golf to address the social issues of confession, contrition and acceptance for his transgressions and then "Tiger should Ask that person right then and there for their Forgiveness" and wait and see what he does.

For it is not what we believe, or what we know or what we think or even what we feel inside . . . it is what we DO that defines who we are.

So the question will arise . . . who are WE really?

A. Smith, Oregon   December 26th, 2009 7:04 pm ET

It is egregious for News Media to be showing a Black American that is laughing over today's increase in airport security. That is deeply offensive to all Americans and I sincerely hope that is not reflective of the feelings that Black Americans are experiencing over the Muslim butt bomber attack on 287 innocent people.

The entire Muslim community across America is silent on yet another Muslim strike against America's transportation systems. Should Americans view that as any better than seeing them loudly applauding?

Muslims attack the World Trade Center, all Americans are subjected to The Patriot Laws which okays wiretaps on all routine American domestic phone and cell calls.

A Muslim tries a shoe bomb to blow up a jetliner, all Americans are subject to removing their shoes and socks for screening prior to flying.

Muslims tries a liquid drink bomb to blow up jetliners, all Americans are subject to having their drinks and liquids confiscated prior to flying.

A Muslim tries a butt bomb to blow up a jetliner, all Americans are subject to disrobing and having a full body cavity search?

How do you feel about having closed circuit cameras in each of the jetliner bathrooms to see if a Muslim is mixing explosives inside it.

This isn't a war against Al-Qaida, it is a War against all of the American People!

If you see any Muslim Name on a name-tag, or wearing Muslim clothing in a airport and they appear nervous or heavily perspiring, report them as a suspicious person to an airport screener or airport security.

Remember if you yourself stop a Muslim bomber using force, you'll probably be sued by a Muslim group however a jury of American's will certainly find you acted in good faith and in a lawful manner.

The public is being told, they didn't know about faithful Muslims using butt-bombs to destroy airplanes.

That's sheer BS.

On Oct. 2009, a Muslim had a pound of high explosives, plus a detonator inserted in his rectum in an attempt to assassinate Saudi Prince Muhammad bin Nayef, the Saudi anti-terrorism chief.

Muslims promised to put instructions on assembling and concealing a butt bomb on the internet.

As of Oct. 2009, governments in Europe and so-called terrorism experts in the U.S. were warning that Muslims may attempt to use a butt bomb to bring down commercial airliners

It seems the purpose is not to ferret out faithful Muslims intent on blowing up a airliner, but rather get the American populace fully acclimated to living in a police state where complete submission and full body cavity searches will be required.

How do you feel about airplane bathrooms now being equipped with closed circuit TV cameras to see if a Muslim is mixing up an explosive?

American passengers need to report any and all Muslims that appear to be involved in any suspicious behavior.

Begin asking your Airline how many Muslim named people are booked for your flight.

A. Smith, Oregon   December 26th, 2009 7:43 pm ET

Larry, the CNN audience would love to hear how upset the CNN staff investigators and reporters are that are now forced to undergo full body searches and full body scans routinely day after day during their frequent flights across the nation.

It would be entirely refreshing to hear how they feel and how they are personally impacted by this newest wave of Airport security reactions to the Muslim butt-bomber.

Among the new rules and changes are No bathroom visits a full hour before the plane lands, You had best check your flight seat to see if it is wet before sitting down in some former passengers puddle!

Senior citizens and men with prostrate conditions are going to be highly stressed to wait a full two hours before they are able to relieve themselves (1 hour plus 1 hour disembarking and further screening and locating a bathroom in the tarmac).

Whitney foster   December 26th, 2009 10:49 pm ET

Well what I want to know is why are we waiting on line for forever waiting for the security to look for terrorists when it obviously isn't working if this man can walk on to an airplane with no problem...why wasn't he further searched when he was put on the watch out for list... I mean if his own father calls and says that you need to keep an eye on him shouldn't that alert you?

Falcony   December 26th, 2009 11:04 pm ET

It's allowed to bring very small amounts of liquids on board bagged in small plastic bags, it appears that these liquids are possible not individual checked. Is there a list of these dangerous liquids including if this get mixed withexplosive powder?

Luis B Rosario   December 27th, 2009 2:40 am ET

Re: Attempted bombing of airplane by passenger.
Every time that a Muslim person commits a terrorist act
it reflects on all the muslim community. The man accused
trying to blow up a U.S. airliner should not have been a
Muslim. He could have been another person. When the
Oklahoma bomber blew up the FBI Headquarters nobody
went to the media and said he was a White(Caucasian.
I did not notice any uproar against White people and nobody
adviced me to be on the lookout for suspicious White
people acting nervously (scratching their genitals) , talking
with a lisp, moving in a hurry towards the gate(perhaps
the person is late for his/ her flight); talking with a foreign
accent(God forbid I'm Hispanic and I have a heavy accent);
blinking his eyes at fast pace( I had a Bells Palsy attack
4 years ago and my lips were twisted up, my eyes were
dancing the Cha -Cha-Cha and Salsa and I looked like
Frankenstein-I was lucky I did not have to book a flight
to somewhere and having to board a plane nowdays.
If I had Russian accent, or British, Scotland, Australia=
perhaps it may be a different story but with a Hispanic
accent and Bells Palsy-give me a break. For two cents
I bet you that I will be a suspect and subject to be
asked to strip naked. All my freckles showing past
my private parts. LOL. ).
So, who is terrorist coming to the United States
nowadays, or boarding out another country from the
U.S. ? " The answer my friend is blowing in the wind,"
as Bob Dylan wrote. Anybody can be a terrorist. If the
incentive is good enough and if the right person has
been psychologically and patriotically trained to become
a suicide bomber-that person could be anybody. (The
preacher's son, the doctor, the teacher, the senator,
the soldier and the student-we are all suspects). So
why does airport secuirty and Customs are always
trying to frisk me when I go through the turnstile
(the metal detector checkpoint) while the real bomber
who may be White is being waved the search. (
Remember that only 1 out of 5 gets the full search
charade and it is at the discretion of the security
person in charge of psychologically evaluating a
suspect based on profile to be searched). Security
personnel has been brainwashed like you to look for
Muslims, Hispanics, Blacks, Middle East people
Asians as suspects> Let the others go -they are
harmless. (the scapegoat mentality).
OK? What was the question? Should we report
every Muslim that we see acting suspiciously at a
public place; i.e. airport, hospital, government building;
etc.? And how much experience do you have aboiut
what is suspicious and what is not? Selective
enforcement is discriminatory.
Perhaps we should start thinking about other
methods to detect suspects of terrorist acitivity.
Other than the bias mentality. Either everybody is
a suspect or else everybody is excused at the
checkpoint? Like the commercial says
" You be the judge!" But be fair and impartial, brother
I got freckles but I'm not Caucasian.

larry am not afraid of flying at all the problems of this terrorist always trying to blow up plan and attack is caused by verious embassys issuing visa.larry visa as never issued to poor people fisrt the embassy says you must come from rich families u get visa to fly u come from muslem family u fly why not give visa to genuing people wanting to fly and to people from poor back grounds and more to christian families and deal less with paying for securing airport jsut because the embassies discreminate poor back grounds fanilies and christain families who jeniunly want to trave take example of this nigeria guy his father was a former chiarman of first bank because his rich and famous the embassy still issued him visa if it was a person from poor bck ground he would have been refused or from a christian background .until the world and rich countries change policies on how too issue visa to people who want to travel jenueingly we will continue to pay more to secure airport and our flighs safety.

hello mr. king, i have a couple questions and a comment: their has been some very heated debates on health care, or the lack of it on your show. i cannot remember you having someone on your show who did not have health ins. this business about "brothers keeper", or, who´s going to pay, etc.. ask someone who does not have health ins. the same questions and see what type of answers you´ll get. some of your guest say 85 -90% of ameriicans have ins. but, what about the 47million who does not have ins.: this is tantamount to saying 10% of the population are jobless i.e.but, i could also say 90% have "JOBS"! why use a different logic for the none insured? i am living in germany 40 years. 10 years ago i was operated on for colon cancer, after – wards i picked the "REHAB SPA" i wanted to attend, all of this did not cost me one cent! and you know what, i am an american born and raised in lake providence louisiana until my 18th birthday. the rest of my aldult life i have lived in europe. most of this time in germany. in germany health ins. is compulsory: the employer has to pay 50%, and the employee the other 50. europeans has learned a lot from americans, perhaps it would not be a bad idea to "TURN THE TIDE" a little bit. or, am i wrong in making this statement? i do not expect you to publish this long commentary. i just wanted to get it out of my heart. "GOD BLESS YOU MR. KING, and AMERICA" . keep up the good work.

Re Tiger Woods
Last and Final remarks (I hope)
The writer and Rick Riley say that Tiger Woods owes an
apology to the whole world of golf and sports fans. He decries
Tiger's lack of ethics and morality that was supposed to be
part of Tiger Wood's persona conducting his golf game duties
and in private life.
My question is: Who in the golf course community(governing
board) gave Tiger Woods a contract to sign asking or demanding
him to adhere to certain rules and regulations that he should abide
to in order for him to be allowed to play professional golf for pay.
As far as I'm concerned nobody gave Tiger Woods an opportunity
to play golf for profit in lieu of his good behavior . There was no
rider( written or implied ) that held Woods responsible for
good behavior involving the public/or his wife. He dd not sign a
contract explaining that he may not cheat on his wife, or that he
promised in writing not to engage in transgressions and other
behavior capable of causing distress and stress to the wife, or
to the public.
Investors and Tiger's promoters made an "icon" of Tiger Woods
because Tiger Woods they were making large profits from his
huge popularity and his skillful domination of golf as a paid sport.
As far as I know Woods' alleged turpitude was not an issue
included in his contract to perform duties as a top professional
golf player. Nor was he ever asked to personafied a great father
and great husband in order for him to become number one(1) player
in the world. All everybody concerned asked was for Tiger Woods
to beat every player in every major golf tournament that he
would be a contender or a challenger. They wanted Tiger Woods
to be the Golf Champion of the World. And he did.
It would be great to think and to expect that Tiger Woods be
a great role model for all golf sport fans and investors but this
was not a mandatory requirement for him to hold the crown.
In summation. In absence of any written document that demands
that Tigers Woods adhere to a certain rule of conduct including
but not exclusing fidelity to his spouse and that Woods shall
not commit any acts of moral turpitude, then Tiger Woods should
be excused from any mandate that requires him to adhere to
certain conduct not expecifried in his contract to play in professional
golf tournaments for profit, or charity fund raisers, as a representative
of golf sponsors.
Of course everybody would expect Mr Woods to be a good
role model but his failure or his success on this agenda should
not preclude him from playing in professional golf tournaments.

Bruce Michael Hubbell   December 28th, 2009 2:33 pm ET

Will Tiger Woods EVER play professional golf again?

Seems absurd to infer we would NEVER witness Tiger Woods play professional golf – – – but is it really?

Who is Tiger Woods now?

Is he a golf icon or a 21st century adult human icon?

The icon of perfection in professional golf WAS Tiger Woods – he embodied everything we projected onto any man, woman or prodigy.

He gave us exactly what we yearned for . . . a true champion demonstrating the highest quality of disciplines to his art and dedication to excellence of performance and accomplishments . . . in the world of golf.

That is and will always be a PAST TENSE expression . . . those days are gone for us and all who honor golf . . . for now.

We wait . . . we wait for him to come back to us . . .we wait for him to begin (or not) his discover and recovery of his own Morality . . . we wait for him to discover (or not) what happened to and by him . . . we wait for him to show us what he has now learned (or not) about a life of un-inspected addictions. . . of his own tendencies to just be human . . . we wait for him to demonstrate we know he, and we have faults . . . egregious faults . . . most egregious faults – OUR most egregious faults. . . our globally adult and very human mea maxima culpa.

We will not preclude Tiger Woods from playing professional golf . . .

BUT if Tiger Woods the man does not answer this call for accountability . . . if Tiger Woods is so Morally unconscious as to what he means to all of us. . . what his behavior NOW means to All of us including OUR children . . . well . . . yes it will be true . . . Tiger Woods will never play professional golf again and we will declare "Tiger Woods is dead" . . . and the world of golf and the world of trust will never be the same and our children will mourn.

Luis B Rosario   January 6th, 2010 2:59 am ET

From Luis Rosario's laptop(unfiltered & unedited)

To Larry King CNN

What went wrong?
During the failed attempt to blow up a plane on way to Detroit?
Something went wrong but we have to be thankfrull to God that
gave some passengers on the plane, a lot of courage to
take prompt action and subdue the perpetrator. So what went
wrong is important because it had a " wake up call" effect
on all America. That and the fact that nobody died is
what went right.? Most of Obama's critics are just focusing
on what went wrong and why Pres. Obama took so long
to address the public.Oh. If it had been president X ,Z or Y,
he would have addressed the public faster . He (another
president would have apologize for putting in "harms way."
These and other harsh accusations are flying all over the
the blogs on facebook, twitter, E-mail and my space. The
sudden negative reaction and the thirst to point fingers
at the president for him to take the blame at what happened
is horrible, is preposterous, is absurd and iit is wrong.
It is sadistic for those attempting to optain the head of
President Barack Obama over this incident. It unpardonable
and unpatriotic to attack him in such a morbid way. Instead
of joining hands, minds and heart together to try to seek
a solution at "what went wrong," must political adversaries
are taking advantage of this unfortunate situation to prepare
themselves and collect ammunition to be used on the 2012
elections, for president of the United States. Would you
believe? The president just got sworn in yesterday , and the
Republicans are already looking for reasons to dethrone him.
What in the name of God has happened to this country?
Where is our sense of patriotism, loyalty and the love for
freedom and Democratic ideals. Where is our respect
for the head of the nation: the president, the commander-
in-chief who was elected in a Democratic show down
where dhe voted in by the majority of Americans.?
Where is our pride and the respect for authority by law-
abiding citizens when there is no reason to believe that
authority has not been adulterated, tainted or breached?
Are we not ashamed to go on national television and
call our president dirty names, obsenities and absurdities,
just because we are members of the opposing party?
If we are not embarassed and ashamed that other
countries including but not excluding Iran, North Korea,
Russia and China are watching the way we behave like
ignorants, naive and stupid over this matter are so
preoccupied with the 'finger pointing " and looking to
lynch the president of the United States to the point
that we sacrifrice our Democracy and our dignity?
If you are not ashamed brothers and sisters of our
insensitive behavior then I am wondering what will
be the future of the United States under such assault
from chaos and tumultuous behavior from some
political leaders who push us on a violent path to
destruction just to satisfy their egos and to quelch
their thirst for vengeance because they lost the last
elections. (I'm talking to you Dick Cheney!)

In the name of Security (unfiltered and unedited)

To Larry King CNN

In the name of Security (you sacrifice dignity& prudence?)
It happened to her but it could happen to you."

There I saw her on the Larry King Show all fragile, embarassed
flustered, timid and still feeling the shock of a bad experience
when she was denied a ticket to American from Costa Rica
because she was tagged as a suspected terrorist apparently
by U.S. Custroms Agtent).. The person I'm talking about is non
other than Joan Rivers, the top female comedian and entertainer
of the 80s and 90s.. (I even saw her very active in her own show
recently).
Ms Rivers says that she was ready to board a plane from
Costa Rica to the USA when a U.S. Customs agent noticed
that she had two last names on her passport. She explained that
she legal to use her show business last name in addition to
her legal last name but the lady that questioned her was taking
no for an answer and denied her entrance to the plane where she
had an authorized ticket from continental as Joan Rossenberg
(her husband's name) AKA Joan Rivers(her actress name).
Joan states that she has booked airplane tickets from Russia
to Korea to Tokio (all over the word) under the same names
with no problems and that the names are on her passport.
Ms Rivers also told Larry King that she told the lady(Customs Agent)
"Please,, don't do this to me. or else I'm going to have a heart attack"
(a matter of expressing anxiety) and the lady got on the phone and
called paramedics stating "send an ambulance this lady is having a
heart attack" (like making fun of Ms Rivers-or like what do I care
if you are going to have a heart attack over this matter. Im not going
to let you get in on this plane-no matter what." ).
Ms Rivers was forced to stay in Costa Rica with no where to go.
A Costa Rican good "samaritan" volunteered to take to San Jose
the capital of Coista Rica where she was given safe passage to
continue her planned flight to the USA but she still was sent to
Housrton, Texas which was not her intended original arrival plan.
This kind olf behavior and abuse of authority cannot be tolerated
either by a customs agent who did not use proper sensitivity
to deal with a human(never mind that she is a famous actress
known by the whole world). She was denied access to a plane
from Costa Rica to New York . It appears that the Customs Agent
never conferred with a supervisor or with a higher authority to
undertake this kind of harassment to a U.S,. citizen. I 'm certain
that if the Customs agent had asked for a supervisor the matter
would have been resolved without negative publicity and without
causing trauma to Ms Rivers who is now a senior citizen.
(She could had have a heart attack for real).
So in balancing our zealousness for security and safety for
all concerned we have to take into consideration that we have to
use tact and professionalism while conducting business on
international flights. Ms Rivers even asked the Customs agent
to talk to the airplane pilot who knew her but she refused.
