Jermaine Jackson: Lawyers, money can't divide family

Just a concern-
CNN is reporting this story and they refer to Jermaine Jackson as Michael Jackson's " oldest brother " when indeed Jackie and Tito are Michael's oldest brothers with Jermaine not even coming in until third. Just a pretty significant error in the first sentence alone.
It will take a while for this subject to "simmer" with me if it even does. Michael Jackson's personal finances should all fall into the category of "none of the public's business". Good to know they celebrated the holiday together.

People migth think negativity to the Jackson family.. because of MJ's estate, Jermaine said.. family still a family.. that people didn't know when they were together. i strongly believe that so hard to judge the person unless i know them personally.
MJ's estate is not actually my business, although we are asking questions to look the mere facts. i don't like Jermain or i don't hate him either because i don't know him. only i can just respect him because his a brother of Michael Jackson which i love and honor.

My respect is always to the Jackson family, i know Michael love them so much. My prayers and hopes always and hoping that we could seek justice for our beloved Michael.

Maria- that was very nicely said. The Jackson Family will never be whole again because of this senseless tragedy. They supported Michael throughout numerous underserving tragedies as he supported his family as well. Whether or not it was financial, who cares? If Michael did not, why should we? I hope the family continues to remain united as they have yet to uncover only a small part of Michael's life they never knew about- Funny how it all comes back to this "money thing".

The Jackson family deserves respect just as we do, but there are a couple of them that do not.

I agree with you. What makes me ill, or one of the things, is that he ALWAYS brings himself into the conversation. The AMAs– you would have thought the 2nd was an acceptance speech for himself and brought his family up. Even this article– *his* children are best friends with Michael's children, yet no mention of any of their other cousins. It's not about Michael, it's about Jermaine. You never hear Janet talk that way– just as a comparison.

The family cannot talk about the investigation it might jeopardize it all! Hence the silence from family......we dont know what goes on behind closed doors.....sure hope they are fighting for justice!

Poor Jermaine was probably asked by family to speak on their behalf we dont know!...and he is getting slammed for it! Janet was at AMA's why didnt she accept the awards....too shy?

I think Michael is going to be at the Tribute next year. Mike is alive! We are going to see a movie next year about his "death" and how this all played out. That is why Jermaine didn't say anything like "this award would have meant so much to Michael, blah, blah, blah." They all have to be very careful in what they say. Latoya, of course, is playing her role perfectly. She is trying to nail her brother's murderer. Randy has found an odd corner to play from. It's going to be the biggest who done it? And the family is torn to pieces in all directions, money, attorneys, blah, blah, blah. Was it AEG, was it Sony, was it Dr. Murray, was it his inner circle, Dileo, Tohme? Oh, what a great movie this is going to be! We've been struck by a Smooth Criminal!

Mike said "I am going to take film to a new medium. I'm going to do something that has never been done before in film. I'm having a lot of fun."

Mike will resurrect in the spring! Kenny Ortega even "twittered" about this once. I'm fully convinced Mike is alive and well and I'm so glad that the events of the last week have taken place, starting with Murray's "fake child support hearing." I think that is Mike's way of letting us know everything is okay and he wants us all to go on and enjoy our holidays and not be depressed through the holiday season.

I think I will take a break from these blogs for a while because I am at peace that Michael is alive and well and his children are with him and everyone is "doing great!"

i have no problem with the whole michael's family..........but i have seen an interview that michael gives and he says that his father was hitting him and his brothers and about his childhood.......michael was so sad saying that and only this is enough for me to be against joe.......well i don't know if michael had a good relationship with his father...i judge only by his interviews.......i hope they had a good relationship......

Yes, and the same goes for brothers. First of all I would die before I let my brother deteriorate...the interventions were unsuccessful because they walked away. BS!!! terry – it some way yes.. i agree with you but who else could cashing in to MJ's name if not his own brother and family. i think also it's only way to keep MJ's legacy alive. Because as i could remembere MJ started everything with his brothers.. the Jacskon 5, he started with them until he became a solo performer. as i could see and remember every time i watched MJ singing i'll be there he always mentioned and calling his brothers name, to remembered them because MJ never forgot them.
the finale of the song I'll be there that MJ' usually sung on his concert, kneeled and almost to cry.. sounds his crying.. he said I LOVE YOU, jermaine, jackie, randy, tito marlon..
that's why MJ really inspired me because his the most forgiving person on \Earth.. MJ inspired me to forgive and always look the bright side .. that's what MJ all about.. im really one of his crazy fans because he inspired not only because of his magic, music, and dance. but because his a great human being..

I appreciate what you are saying but Michael left his money to his children, his mother, and charity-that is where any profits would be distributed when using Michael's name. Not Jermaine, or the other brothers. Michael would have included them in his will had he wanted them to profit off all his hard work while over the years they just lived off his $ and hard work at the 'family' compound. Jermaine especailly should be ashamed...his children lived/grew up at the compound and they were supported by Michael, just like all those 'cousins' they always speak of. The compound seems to be the drop off central for all the Jackson's children. Michael worked very hard his entire life-the others (minus Janet, Rebee, Marlon) worked for a few years, then rode along or the all expenses paid ride!! My opinion!!!

On holidays, it is especially difficult to come together without thinking of the one who is not with you. It would have to be heartbreaking to be with Michael's children celebrating a day of Thanksgiving without being reminded sadly at some point that Michael should have been there with them. Of course, he is with them in spirit, but it hard for us mortals to wrap our tiny brains around that grand truth when you are mourning for the one who is no longer with you. My heart is with his children especially. I am glad that the family is trying to honor that which Michael loved...celebrations with a day of Thanksgiving for their many blessings. They have much to be thankful for as we all do and only one of which is our families. I pray that they, like many of us will do tomorrow here in the United States, will hold the hands of those that are dear to them and thank God for allowing them to be a part of this particular family. We are only guaranteed life here on earth for a little while and we should use the blessings to bless each other. To bring this full circle, Michael Jackson did that. This family should thank God for how he demonstrated to them and the world the beauty of loving others over self. It is Michael's legacy and really nothing they do, whether in actions or words, will ever take that from him.

I'd like to hear from one of the other brothers instead of Jermaine all the time. He's overexposing. What about Randy, Tito,Marlon and Jackie. They loved their brother too. Tito 'said he wasn't ready to see MJ movie because he was still mourning him. And poor Jackie, he choked up with tears when reporters talked to him after the viewing of the film. It broke my heart to see him like that. Bottomline is: No matter what, the Jackson family LOVE each other. They stood up for MJ during his trial when most of his socalled FRIENDS he always showered with gifts let him down at the time and let him down again after he died selling negative stories to Larry King and the Tabloids. So please give the Jacksons a break, even Latoya, Joe and Jermaine.

As a fan I refuse to criticize Michael's family...I believe Jermaine was chosen as the spoke person for the family so I am not going to bash him for being every where doing every thing...and I can see the respect for his mother in his statement that she is the "boss"...I imagine the whole family feels that way about her...nice to know that she will do right by Michael children.

We are on holiday here (tomorrow and some today too) in the States as you know. Yes, I think MJ was a little more private. Their family has all kinds of problems just like all families. Yes it is! Very time consuming,but that's the price we pay for wanting our hair a certain way. I go to the hair salon every two weeks to get something done,be it curls,wash. I get my hair relaxed every 6 to 8 weeks. I can't get enough. i love the way it looks and feel when i get it relaxed, plus it's easier to manage.

Just a few comments about the comments here. Why do we keep hearing fromJermaine? Because he seems to be the family spokesperson. If someone from the family didn't speak you wouldn't have all these blogs to write about. Second, why doesn't Jermaine concentrate on getting justice for Michael? Who says he hasn't? He can't sit at the police station and insist that Dr Death get arrested now. Do you honestly think the family doesn' t want someone to pay? The wheels of justice turn slowly. I pray every day that the reason it seems to be taking so long is because they do not want to mess it up. Next, Michaels money. His children are being well taken care of. From now on someone other than Michael profits from anything Michael Jackson. I have stopped thinking about that aspect. It's not mine. I selfishly hope that new music from Michael is released when possible because it touches my heart. Someone profits; so be it.
Lastly, I wish his family well. I know in my heart what a great man he was. I understand his message. I love his music. May God bless his children and may they never doubt what a great man. I thank them for sharing him with me.

A thought on all the Jackson bashing. . .As I head into a holiday weekend filled with time spent with family I am so glad that the eyes of the world are not watching us and lying in wait for a peek at our disfunction! Family is family; warts and all, and each family has a different dynamic that those on the outside may not understand. I am thankful that despite our past failures, our family has found a way to forgive and come together stronger for each other. I'm sure many of you all have had similar experiences in your own lives and are thankful for forgiveness and the power of family love as well. Lets go a little easier on the Jacksons because even though the Jackson family is the "Jackson's" to us, at the end of the day they are also a family.

I wouldn't know why he wore the gold costume – I'm assuming it's because it was contributing to the beauty of his dance. If you've noticed all ballet costumes are real tight and that is not so in order to accentuate the dancers' anatomy but rather to let you observe their precise and exquisite movements.

I also wouldn't know if he would have hated the gold pants talk or be flattered but I believe a pair of pant howsoever nicely fitting they may be is all the wrong reasons to be attracted to a person.

He was such a deep soul and such a magnificent intelecual being – we could spend a few more months talking only about all these before we even begin scratching the surface. And I don't know how long it will take to exhaust the whole topic and have to resort to pants talk.

None of us on this blog has met MJ or his family. Our opinions are based on what we read in the media, read what they have written, watching interviews on t.v., video's, etc. etc. Every person evaluates information differently as this blog is a prime example. I am a fan of MJ and his 3 children only. Because I'm a fan of MJ does not mean I have to include his parents or siblings to be a true fan. Because MJ was a genius and had a very special heart for mankind, to lump him in a group with others, isn't right. He was one of a kind and he is the King of Pop, not his family.

MIKE'S RESURRECTION DATE

This is my prediction using all the "7"s that are relevant to everything since Michael "died."

Will 07/07/02. Memorial 07/07/09. 7 year difference. Burial 70 days after his "death."

Michael's resurrection will be on 04/03/2010. This is exactly 7 months from the date of his burial. 4+3 = 7

This is the Saturday before Easter 2010, so it connects with Criss Angel's poster for beLIEve and the belief that Michael's resurrection would come in the spring when the lillies bloom which is why they replaced the roses at the memorial to "lillies" at the burial. White lillies. Also ties into Janet's white Easter dress and her "waiting for him to call and say Dunk, it's me!"

He will then perform with his brothers as the Jackson 5 which is why Jermaine keeps mentioning the Jackson 5 and the show next summer.

I really think it is going to be 04/03/2010!

I did what you asked me to do, all i can say on this subject is i believe it to be a rumour started infamily many years ago... However i do believe he was suffering, but not with schizophrenia... His fear over himself and those precious to him was very real and not paranoia... im not at all familiar with this illness so i dont have the knowledge and MJ has never discussed it personally or publicly... I feel it to be false... Maybe he has discussed with this person... who knows?... i dont have the knowledge to know this person as im not an insider... if you can provide a surname i can ask certain people if they know of them...but it would have to someone who was on regular contact not flybynight for them to know... but the people i ask will be able to ask others who will know if they cant help... sorry i cant be of anymore help... I will add quickly, MJ was very interested in childrens mental health, he researched it as i said on another blog, whether it be on a whole basis or individualy i dont know... but his life was always learning and researching to gain knowledge so this wasnt unusual.. He didnt like to talk about a subject if he didnt have any knowledge same as all of us i hope... im also not aware if he set up National Childrens Mental Health Day. Sorry i couldnt help.

Oh, he will be back! And it will be a BIG EVENT! And it will involve
Cirque du Soleil in some fashion, probably with Criss Angel. This is why Cirque is in negotiations right now with his "estate." Criss' beLIEve poster is all about Michael in case you have not seen it. It has Michael's Dangerous eyes in the red curtain, the white Easter bunny (indicating resurrection), Mike's feet behind the curtain ascending into heaven, Mike's silohuette as Peter Pan in front of the red curtain and blood on the floor (indicating death). It is going to be a SPECTACULAR EVENT! But in the meantime, we are to spread his message.
