via New York Post

art.levi.johnston.cnnLevi Johnston is getting ready to let it all hang out. The father of Sarah Palin's grandson will go ahead with his much-hyped Playgirl shoot in mid-November "in order to get the pictures out for the holidays," a rep for the magazine told us.

"We're working out the actual details day-by-day, and have come to a very happy conclusion, which we feel readers will be enthralled by." Johnston's manager, Tank Jones, has said he's "90 percent sure" the shoot, for which Johnson has pulled in a reported six figures, will include full-frontal nudity.

I feel so sorry for LEVI having MS PALIN for the grandmother of his baby. This woman is sick. Who would ever want to buy her book??? We Republicans will NEVER vote for a """JOURNALIST""""" for any office. This woman is SICK

I feel very sorry for Levi, he is just an ordinary guy that is being exploited by people that are greedy and looking for a way to make a quick buck at anybodies expense.

Rose   October 26th, 2009 4:43 pm ET

Levi's having the last laugh here. He's exploiting himself for a lot of money, hundreds of thousands of dollars. He's again utilizing the only organ he's infamous for and it's definitely not his brain.

He must have been watching Palin carefully on how to gain fame without any substantial abilities. When her "word-salad" book (written by someone else) gets released next month, her fans will have the task of finding their way to an actual bookstore. Upon achieving this demanding feat, they will then have the even more difficult task of reading. Fortunately, Levi's publication debut will not involve any text.

Thank GOD we don't have this family ready to run our country.

It's sad that it seems Sarah Palin has chosen to use her media spotlight and influence to limit her grandson's access to his own father. And it's also sad that it seems she has exercised every trick in the book to discredit Levi's account of how he was treated by her. I do not blame Levi for trying to be as resourceful and creative as he can to earn money. The money that he makes will help him take care of himself and help him contribute to the care and well being of his son. The money he makes will also give him the financial support to stand up for his rights as a parent against a family backed by multi-million dollar legal resources and a gigantic media machine. Perhaps Levi Johnson's plight will help to shed a spotlight on the parental rights of unwed fathers and help the children caught in the middle to have happier and healthier lives.

Bristol and Levi's child deserves the best...as does every child. Hopefully because the whole world is watching their child will not be denied the affection and care of two parents who seem to be desperate to share as much love as they can with their child. They are all in my prayers.

I really don't blame Levi, he got thrust into the spotlight by Palin. When he speaks he sounds just as intelligent as she does. And oh by the way, he might just make something out of himself. How many others started in show business this way? Wouldn't that just kill Palin!!!

Nihal Gulvady   October 27th, 2009 4:34 am ET

I wonder what senator McCain must be thinking!!

Susan62509   October 27th, 2009 5:22 am ET

It sounds like some manager is taking advantage of this young man from Alaska. Sure wished Levi would think ahead 20 years from now. What would his lifestyle be then, remarried, more children, his job? The only thing his "spread" will bring is money now and in the future, many laughs and embarrassment.

Jeri   October 27th, 2009 12:23 pm ET

In time when Levi's son realizes what his father did to make money, he won't have much reason to be proud of Levi's actions. For any person, male or female, to bare it all for cash is not something to look up to, especially if they are a parent. It's irresponsible and will be an embarrassment long after the cash is spent.

Palin is now a multi-millionaire due to her book deal. Levi's son and her grandson will be very well taken care of materially as his grandma is now quite rich. The child does not need his public nudity or his unChristian way of earning.

Jeri   October 27th, 2009 12:40 pm ET

Levi has to thank Palin for his new found "fame". If he hadn't gotten her daughter pregnant during the campaign year, no one would have given a hoot about him. If Palin hadn't become the VP candidate Levi wouldn't have received any publicity at all. He was manipulated during the election due to Bristol's unwed and pregnant status and was shoved into a shot gun engagement. After the campaign fallout, Levi is cashing in with the media and offers.

If it were not for his association with Palin, Levi would be a no name northern redneck with no offers. He needs to behave more responsibly because he is a father. So far, he hasn't. Neither has Palin or Bristol by pushing Levi out of the baby's life. This child is surrounded by greedy, self serving people.

Rose   October 27th, 2009 1:57 pm ET

Levi has Palin to thank and we have McCain to thank for Palin. I'll be buying "Going Rouge" – a collection of essays about Palin rather than her "Going Rogue" memoir next month. It's strange that Palin chose the term "rogue" as she used it against her brother-in-law Mike Wooten as a "rogue trooper" who was a supposed danger to her family. She destroyed his career. McCain staffers referred to Palin as going rogue – not a compliment.

When former Alaska Commissioner of Public Safety Wal Monegan was pressured to fire Wooten, he refused due to lack of evidence. Monegan was then called "rogue" as well by Palin. He was denied a request in Alaska for due process hearing because of the damage done to his career.

Palin made it clear that "rogue" was not a good thing. On this note, I agree with Palin 100%. I hope the goofs who are waiting for the release of her ghost-written book realize this hypocrisy but I doubt it.
