Hi Larry, I wish that these people get off Michael Vick's back. Ask this women if they hold sarah palin to a different standard? Because didn't she order the mass killing of wolves from the air?

elizabeth brooks   August 17th, 2009 9:09 pm ET

He is so sorry for everything except the dogs. I will not be watching any football until this killer is gone. I will never watch any game with the Eagles for the rest of my life even when he is gone. Turn off your TVs..best way to protest.

Deb   August 17th, 2009 9:10 pm ET

Does anyone think that Michael Vick actually realizes that the tortured animals actually felt pain? I just get the impression that he's sorry he got caught.
How many other younger than 30yo men get a $6mil second chance when they are a felon with prison history, fathered children; no marriage, didn't finish college? His crimes entitle him to the jobs other felons get. Minimum wage jobs.

Judy McLarty   August 17th, 2009 9:12 pm ET

Michael Vick should be banned from football for the rest of his life. He is NOT a role model now just because 'he did his time'. He is either a sociopath or a psychopath who got his thrills through torturing and killing dogs. There is no CURE for this kind of person. This is no example for kids who love sports. Throw him out with the trash.

M.J. in Big D   August 17th, 2009 9:13 pm ET

I watched the Sunday interview with Vick. It was, indeed, probing and RE-vealing! Michael Vick failed to sell me that he has remorse and is "converted" to animal welfare. If he is remorseful and recognizes the heinous nature of his crimes then he is either terribly inarticulate or a terrible actor – or both. One comment he made, "how often do I have to say this?" made me think he has doesn't realize that he will need to confess his regret for the remainder of his life, such was the cruelty he inflicted and promoted.

PLEASE sports fan, consider boycotting the Philadelphia Eagles and the sponsors of their games this year or at the least, protest his playing.

NOAH   August 17th, 2009 9:17 pm ET

Larry,
If Mike was white, this issue would have been brushed under the rug already, he's just the fall guy, the epidemic is the real problem. Anyhow, tell Reg i said whatup, I can tell he's a good dude.
Your friend,
Noah

Sarah Palin is not a wit better than Michael Vick for her sanctioning and promoting hunting wolves from helicopters. Both Vick and Palin have abused their largesse and positions to aggressively inflict pain and suffering on animals.

Sara Aikens   August 17th, 2009 9:30 pm ET

Did Vick's murdered dogs get a second chance? Why should he?

NANCY LEMIN   August 17th, 2009 9:39 pm ET

YOUR SHOW IS SO ENJOYABLE TO WATCH YOU HAVE SO MUCH ENTERTAINMENT THANK YOU FOR HAVING SUCH A BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL JACKSON KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

Mike Malsbary   August 17th, 2009 10:05 pm ET

All one has to do is see the thousands of people seeking free medical care in the free health care clinics around the country to view the true grass roots of the Health Care Reform movement. And that is what this should be a movement, not a town meeting. Civil Rights was a movement. Health Care Reform needs to be a movement. These town meetings were attended by many sincere people, but such forums, like fly paper, admit rambling jawbones and lobby plants that collectively defocus the fundamental intent, clarifying the facts and debunking the lies and hysteria. The presidential debates were moderated and focused. The White House press conference is guided by rules of respect and ORDER. The town meeting, as a means to an end, completely failed those millions of Americans desperate for National Health Care. This pursuit of National Health Care must not be derailed by masked begets, corporate aligned, talking head neo cons and lobby operatives. Those soldiers of the Civil Rights movements remember the meaning of struggle. Like the election of President Obama, this movement must come from the grass roots, not the top down. This reform for National Health Care must continue to be a struggle, year in and year out until every American with a social security number can see a doctor or visit the hospital free. I'm happy for Michael Vick, but this is more important.

GREAT comment from Mike Malsbary on healthcare reform as a movement by and for the people. I'm with you, Mike!
