Casey Anthony: What did you think of the George-Cindy interview on CNN?

Posted: 02:18 PM ET

By Hal Boedeker/Orlando Sentinel

art.george.cindy.anthony.cnnLarry King was astonished by the number of messages from the public. He showed the stack before questioning George and Cindy Anthony tonight on CNN.

The parents of Casey Anthony said they're still surprised that granddaughter Caylee's body was found. And they can't believe daughter Casey is responsible for the child's murder.

King questioned George and Cindy forcefully, although he kept stumbling over all those names that start with C. There wasn't a lot new in the interview, which took up the hour. They talked about their foundation at the hour's end, which no doubt infuriated many viewers. How did you think the interview went?

King asked why is the public taking its anger out on George and Cindy.

"They don't understand," Cindy said. "They don't understand unconditional love."

People are leaving lots of messages on Hal's Blog.  Here are a few samples of what people are saying...

  • "You could see Larry King's frustration at times"
  • "They seem to have lost their spin. They are still defensive of Casey, but more subdued"
  • "...this was just another stunt to solicite donations"
  • "larry should have narrowed in on george more"
  • "Did you see Cindy head *SNAP* in George's direction when he started to answer a question honestly?"

And of course there are plenty of people who didn't watch, but wanted to add their comments about how poor the interview was.  It's always fun to read those posts...if you don't watch or read the transcript, how can you truly have a grasp on what it was like?  It's like always complaining about politics and never registering to vote.

I believe Cindy is a control freak and is attempting to control a jury with her TV campaigns. Her persona on the surface appears softened, but her true obnoxiousness is evident in her expressions and great restraint. Note how she places her hand over George's and squeezes if she doesn't like what he is saying.

The only one in that family with the possibility of redemption is George. Remember, he testified at a grand jury that first indicted his daughter. I recall his discomfort when asked about it after, but it was clear he felt he had to tell what he knew. Cindy, Casey and Lee are narcicistic sociopaths, plain and simple. Casey didn't become that way without Cindy's influence.

The "foundation" made me nauseated. I hope Florida's Attorney General scrutinizes the finances. Even if they don't collect a salary (which was only specific for right now,) they can deduct a lot of this travel and so forth by whipping out the comforting bear while defending Casey.

I am a mother and I cannot understand betraying the innocent grandchild as they have done. I don't recall reacting this strongly to people I see on TV, but this group is evil. Catch the private investigator they previously had who now appears on HN. He clearly hates Cindy and finds her the root of all of this mess. May Caylee rest in peace.

LISA   May 14th, 2009 3:08 pm ET

Hal, I saw the interview, and by the way, I am big fan of yours!! I read your articles almost every day!!! Thank you!!!
Mr. Larry King was great!!! I have a bigger admiration for his work and I have to say I was not so sure he would go where he did whith the Anthonys. It was the best interview so far with them. On the other ones Cindy was took over and stole the show and I am sure Mr. King was prepared and did his homework!!! Job well done Mr. Larry King!!!
As far as the Anthony's answerr we already knew they would lie for their daughter cause now they are in a tour for "Pity Casey, seh didn't do it,"!!! They have no morals and values because the truth is the way to go. Cindy says the truck smelled like there had been a dead boy, next time she said it was pizza and yerterday to Mr. King "sour food from the refrigerator"!!! As Cindy says... Casey might have said mis truths and half truths but she is not a killer!!! Denial, denial, denial!!! If they could just shut up and go away it would do us a favor!!! Nothing that comes out of their mouths is true, so why to talk about it. Oh yes, the scam foundation, right???

Connie   May 14th, 2009 3:11 pm ET

What a shame – seeing George & Cindy lying like that. Unbelievable that Geroge was once a policeman and now tries to find ways to cover up for his daughter/snake. Cindy & George are both liars to a point that they both looked ridiculous on your show. Sure would'nt want to be them..........

And as for their "no good tramp daughter", she will get her day – here on earth or in hell where she belongs.

Remembering Caylee – R.I.P. little Angel.

Connie

I not only watched the interview, but DVR'd it and watched it again. Therefore, I probably caught every nuance. I'm not obscessed, but I have a beautiful little granddaughter who is now the same age as Caylee was at the time she went amiss. They even favor quite a bit. That's the only similarity we have with the Anthoni (God, let it be so).
I've tried to put myself in their shoes, but have come to the conclusion that this whole situation was a tragedy waiting to happen.

This family dynamic is horrific and at the same time fascinating to watch. But again, I don't think I care to watch another interview. Even if the interviewer grilled them, it's obvious, they are incapable of telling the truth.

The new boat must get lots of use running up and down the
"River of LIES"............................
Yet, they still give themselves away with the darting eyes, no eye
contact, nodding Yes while saying NO and all the other body
movements that is like a flashing neon sign.
It is a buffet of mis-truths, half-truths, taken out of context statements,
conflicting statements, contradictory statements, and LIE after LIE
after LIE.
Mother Nature's Polygraph is working overtime, and so far they
fail miserably.
Think of how liberating the TRUTH would be ! ! ! ROLE MODELS?
Not from where I sit !

Journey   May 14th, 2009 3:28 pm ET

the teddy bears have been given out for years to children!! This is not their idea!! why let them talk about the bogus foundation that specifically states on their web site that non profit is pending so in other words they are profiting off of their murdered grand child. And who has reached out for their help?? I only know of them being asked to LEAVE Satsuma and told to go home and clean up their own mess. Sorry Larry but the Anthony's are just Con artists just like that Milstead head of Kidfinders all criminals.

Dogs Rule   May 14th, 2009 3:29 pm ET

I thought it was the same thing. Allowing the Anthonys to wiggle out of any question they didn't want to answer. However, the same questions were asked several times, I.e. Do you think your daughter is guilty? There were hundreds of substantive and relevant question on Larry King's blog. The questions about their association with the Milsteads was ignored, even though 100 of your bloggers brought it up. You let them get away with outrageous statements without challenge, i.e. the diary. Conway said it had been analyzed as to the date which Cindy probably added since it is in her posession. The only way to determine if it was contemporary with the diary entry would be to have the ink examined. That is a perfect and obvious question for Conway, but King just accepted Conway's word. Also, even though King mentioned the residue of adhesive on the tape in the shape of a heart, Conway just denied it and also denied the tape went around the skull and said there was no hair on the tape.

These two cons are a waste of time and space on the earth. I hope everyone just shuns them now. It must be clear to all that these two are just trying to make money with their "Caylee Bears." And that song? I can't even go there.

michelle   May 14th, 2009 3:30 pm ET

casey is gonna burn they should throw her stupid mother in the fire with her god they make me sick

Dogs Rule   May 14th, 2009 3:31 pm ET

One more thing. Cindy said we don't understand unconditional love. I understand love, but I don't understand unconditional lying.

candy   May 14th, 2009 3:33 pm ET

did anybody notice cindy in a fixed trance when larry asked george if he thinks casey did it??? she was so obvious but then of course she shook it off and continued to lie like her pathetic daughter

kathi   May 14th, 2009 3:37 pm ET

In my opinion Mr King was familar with the questions but not very familar with the specifics of the case. Mr. Conway was allowed to wiggle around several important questions. According to the discovery released there was residue in the shape of a heart on the duct tape. Mr Conway stated the sticker was not on the tape, true, but the residue was and Mr. King should have made him admit that. Honesty is not to be expected from the Anthonys at this point, but Mr. Conway should have been more forthcoming. If he is going to allow his clients to go on a media tour, and accompany them for exposure sake, he should at least be prepared to answer honestly and not play word games. Nice try Larry, but could have done better.

Christine   May 14th, 2009 3:38 pm ET

Well Larry, you did the best you could with 2 notorious LIARS. George the Weasel with absolutely no backbone and controlled by the Hammer Queen. I'm sure neither George nor Cindy appreciated the stack of blogger comments which you pointed out to them were ALL against Casey, the daughter George called "any father would be proud of". NOT George.....both know that she dumped Caylee like common garbage only 15 houses from their home. I wouldn't refer to them as being in 'denial', they are plain stupid.... Caylee was used as a pawn between Casey & Cindy and now in death, Cindy is still using her dead grandaughter as their CASH COW. They should've used their efforts in searching for her instead of demanding others to do it for them.....and now all their efforts are in trying to save their lieing pole dancing tramp of a daughter. They have covered up for her for so many years and are still covering her ass......and look what they have produced.......A Baby Killer.
Since George & Cindy won't seek Justice for Caylee,,,,,,we the people will. Caylee's voice will be heard from her grave.
Justice for Caylee – Justice will Prevail.

Vicki Baas   May 14th, 2009 3:41 pm ET

It is obvious why the daughter is a habitual compulsive liar. She gets it from George and Cindy. The brother also has serious issues. The way he kept laughing during his deposition was disturbing to say the least. George and Cindy now seem quite interested in profiteering from the death of Caylee. Why are they not seeking justice for Caylee, instead of trying to cover up for Casey? How are they paying for expensive attorneys and specialists? The "Caylee teddy bear" was sickening.{ Larry was great as per usual} They have clearly raised a sociopath. They have never made Casey accountable for any of her criminal actions. It is apparent this is an abnormal, dysfunctional family. I pity Caylee, for being born into that family of freaks. She never stood a chance at a normal life in that family. Has George been tested to see if he is Caylees father?

Mary Jane   May 14th, 2009 3:49 pm ET

Larry, I don't think it is fair to say that the public is taking out their anger on the Anthonys. This travesty is an insult to any intelligent person. How dare Cindy say that people don't understand unconditional love. We know an unstable family when we see it. The anger directed towards them is honestly sent for THEIR actions as the lies and devious behavior are getting a little hard to stomach. This case is a clone of the OJ Simpson case which was also built on lies and deceitful behavior. I'm appalled to think how our legal system will continue to be used to prolong an open and shut case.

Sonia Camacho   May 14th, 2009 3:52 pm ET

It is really sad to watch these parents, George and Cindy be asked over and over again the same questions. It is only natural that parents who love their children stand by them in time of difficulty and trouble. All those people who criticize so much the Anthony's because they are defending their daugther, what would they do if they find themselves in a similar situation? I for one believe that Casey is the person who harmed little Caley, but my heart goes out to the Anthony's because they are in a situation in which no parent wants to be in. They should be left alone already, they have suffered enough.

rusdus   May 14th, 2009 3:53 pm ET

I wish Larry had asked George why he threw up in the office of LE when they asked him about the smell in the car which they are now trying to say is like spoiled food in the refrigerator. Cindy must be a lousy housekeeper if her refrigerator smells like death!!!!

C Kelly   May 14th, 2009 4:00 pm ET

I thought the interview was very telling.

Living in Canada most of the coverage of the Caylee Anthony murder has been through HLN TV, so although we are aware of the story and peoples' opinions-there has not been a saturation of The Anthony's interviews. Larry asked some tough questions and their answers were "textbook" predictable. This couple is so confused and in need of holding onto some form of hope for their family. The denial, is very sad because it seems that the evidence available greatly suggests their daughter's guilt. Their denial is a reaction to the trauma of the situation. I pray for the couple, who have lost so much including their credibility. Thank you for doing the interview Larry, as I can better understand the Anthony's position on their granddaughter's death, and their daughter's current incarceration.

Sandi   May 14th, 2009 4:01 pm ET

These people need to stay home – out of the media. They could NOT give a straight answer. My daughter and granddaughter lived with me and every day, just in conversation, I always asked her where she went, what she did, who she played with, what she ate. They never saw or talked to the sitter, say they had phone numbers but don't know where they are. This is out of control. Cindy looked down – could not face the camera. How did Casey take Caylee to a "sitter" if she did not work. How do you not find out your daughter does not have a job? George was a detective – give me a break. They are such liars. Everyone wants to protect their child – but look at the horrific death this child suffered. Why? Cindy said her daughter only went to party one day cause she must have been in shock? This woman needs shock treatment herself. Who in their right mind would be out partying if their child was taken. These people sicken me.

cha cha   May 14th, 2009 4:12 pm ET

Larry you should have done your homework you really dropped the ball about Casey's arrest when Cindy said she was arrested for lying about having a job ..... FYI George Anthony testified before the grand jury against his daughter, in an interview he said that it was the hardest thing he had to do by testifying against his daughter (his words on TV) a few hours later Casey was indicted for Murder 1 and this was in October before they even had the baby's body.

cha cha   May 14th, 2009 4:14 pm ET

rusdus, Cindy went on the record as saying she is a "nurse of decompostion" Larry didn't ask this question either, but that is what Cindy told Mr. Morgan during a deposition .... she is a nurse of decompostion

Pete   May 14th, 2009 4:17 pm ET

Seens like the Antonys had it arranged to that there would not be
any questions about Zanny the Nanny.Cindy stated in her depo that
she had Zanny;s tel #. Curious as to why she never called

Show's over   May 14th, 2009 4:22 pm ET

I thought Larry King did the best he could considering what he had to work with...... George and Cindy and the CONSTANT lies.

Now, can these two people just fade away. Your phoney foundation will fail.

kim in nc   May 14th, 2009 4:25 pm ET

All of us parents here know unconditional love for our children and g/c miss cindy. the point is you can still love you child and teach them right from wrong you said in the interview that you didnt have a chance to ask casey the real story she was out 2months onbond i would of grilled her for honest questions and another thing you and george say you believe casey is 100% innocent and yet on the other hand you say you dont know the whole story that defise logic to me you need to take a chapter out of susan smiths mothers book she was there for her 2 beautiful g/c and still should support and unconditional love at the same time its called if you do the crime pull the time so when you and georgeand lee get through spitting in Caylees big beautiful eyes and not stand by her too i think alot of us feel less and less sympathy for you

debbie   May 14th, 2009 4:29 pm ET

Mayde these parents are scared of Casey. We seen her act up in jail and lash out toward her mother , so in reality maybe they do know the truth but cannot come out and say it. They might be releived Casey is in jail and not out. Casey seems very spoiled and maybe her parents just can't except the truth. I feel so much pity for the parents because they did lose their grandbaby and I can't image that pain. I pray for them but I do feel Casey should tell them the truth.

The W.O.   May 14th, 2009 4:29 pm ET

Larry is no match for pathological liars.

It was pretty much the same as the last interview.
Larry asks a question.... George looks very uncomfortable, afraid he's going to put his foot in it..... Cindy butts in and the lies start. It is like breathing for her, she's a natural born liar.

BTW- they are not in denial.
They are covering up a murder of a helpless child.

You must feel proud today Larry.
They probably sold a few bears last night...

Becca   May 14th, 2009 4:29 pm ET

-------
Sonia,

With all due respect, they put themselves in this position to try and taint the jury pool.

I love my children, but if I raised one that would do this to my granddaughter , I would put them in jail myself. That is what is wrong with this world. No one wants to take responsibility for what they have done. Children are our gifts from God and anyone that would do this to a 2 year old baby should get the needle.

I hope you read all of the evidence they have on herself and her family covered up for her. Would you do that if your child murdered your grandchild? I think you know my answer!
All IMO, of course. Be well.

Christine   May 14th, 2009 4:43 pm ET

While on the plane back to Orlando the same day a bones were discovered only houses away from theirs, they go to the Ritz Carlton and dined on Crab Puffs and Steak Med rare.....now that's really nice!!
2 weeks before the Circus Memorial event, George decides to try to commit suicide....by stopping at a convenience store for his 12 pack and orders a pizza....how fitting a pizza, and bringing along his cell phone so that LE can track him down. What a Joke that was!!!
Naturally George can't get one up on Cindy so she lets the public know that she too had thoughts of suicide back in late July and August. WHILE CAYLEE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONLY MISSING........What a Drama Queen she thinks she is....NOT.
If she wanted to commit suicide, why didn't she do it when it was announced that the bones and skull were actually CAYLEE'S.
Casey is a Sociopathic Liar......and has learned this from her Sociopathic Mother. Both are identical – Peas in a snug Pod.

surreyduo   May 14th, 2009 4:47 pm ET

Watching Cindy & George on your show last was PATHETIC.
How can someone lie on national television and sleep at night.
Never once has the Anthony's looked for their missing grandchild.
They made public appearances and WHOA is me, help find Caylee.
George was a former law enforcement officer and knows the smell of decomposition, why then would he drive Casey's car home, knowing that it smelled like a dead body? Why then would he not call the police before he even put the keys in the ignition? Major cover-up.

No Rose   May 14th, 2009 4:48 pm ET

Larry did the best he could under the circumstances. He looked bored and couldn't get names straight. Larry kudos for not laughing at some of the answers these three were throwing out at you. Becca, how can they be left alone when they are inserting themselves on a tv show? They have suffered enough, if that is the case, then perhaps they should shut up and go home. Caylee is the one that suffered.

Robin   May 14th, 2009 4:54 pm ET

People come on, if you look at George and Cindy's face at any given time in this interview, you can see that they are clearly pained. They both know that their daughter murdered her child, they know it.

I have followed this case from day one and while I do believe that Casey is guilty I think her poor parents obviously dont want it to be true, imagine if you were in this situation.

Common sense tells us that if someone lies, they are hiding something and the fact that Casey waited to report Caylee missing is proof in of its self.

Her parents are so distraught over the fact that they know their daughter is guilty, they both have attempted or thought of suicide.

The truth is written all over the faces of George and Anthony.

Susan   May 14th, 2009 5:03 pm ET

Well said Robin – I think we could all show a little more compassion for the Anthonys. I don't believe their pain is a mirror to what they know.....I don't think they know any more than the rest of us.

Disgusted   May 14th, 2009 5:04 pm ET

Mr King:

Per your request regarding your interview with the Anthony's et al.
For the sake of HONESTY, I viewed the pseudo facillime via tape/transcript. With that said, what became apparent within two minutes, you were unprepared, and stumbled on the names of the deceased, and mother Casey. Not sure how to equate this fairly, other than you were using the interview, not so much for fact driven evidence , rather sensationalism. Moreover, overt and boring.

Both Anthony's continued to deflect from the answers to the questions you managed to ask, both failed and lied. With all the evidence in discovery, I found Conway's answers, quite disturbing. An officer of the court, lying on National Television. Apropos.

The public at large finds these two repungnant , total failures on the Alibi Tour via Pity Party for their daughter. The public does not understand, per Cindy. Well, the public begs to differ, any of these bloggers, public responses are people that have endured, suffered, the same circumstances. So what's not to understand?

Your questions were repetitive and weak, who was running this segment. The Anthony's should heed and take the advice that was offered by Law Enforcement during the earlier stages of the investigation, if you continue to alienate the press, the public will turn.
What an understatement! Cindy and George are not one step closer to recognizing the truth, if their daughter confessed.

If you had researched this case, you and your producers would have found discovery compelling, and in no uncertain terms the Anthony's could refute.

In closing, I found your interpretation of an interview a failure, and another example of allowing a family to exploit Caylee Marie.

Barbara   May 14th, 2009 5:05 pm ET

Kim in NC, She posted half way up this page) you said what you posted right on target...As a Mom and new Grandmother myself I agree whole heartedly with your post! 🙂

JT   May 14th, 2009 5:07 pm ET

"The truth is written all over the faces of George and Anthony."

Unfortunately Robin, while the truth may be written all over their faces, the lies keep coming out of their mouths.

Alma   May 14th, 2009 5:08 pm ET

I watched this show 3 times yesterday, and to be honest I was in AW of Larry King. He has children and I think he was able to keep it all together. Everyone knows that Casey killed her daughter. And for the grandparents to sit there and stand by there daughter just shows us what kind of family she came from. They know she did it. George needs to grow a pair of ba**s and say whats really going on. Cindy is evil and will get hers when the time is right.
How and the hell they have the nerve to sell teddy bears and make money off of their dead grand daughter makes me sick and should be against the law.

Bertha Nolan   May 14th, 2009 5:09 pm ET

I have 3 daughters and have never been in their situation--its very scary.......I DO FEEL FOR THE BOTH OF THEM. BUT, IN THE SAME BREATH I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE APPLE DOESN'T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE--I guess George is the only believable one in that family--certainly not even Lee with the " I believe everything my sister tells me" CMA,CMA,CMA,,,,,Cindy seems like a controlling person.....Try thinking about CONTROLLING A TWO YEAR OLD LIKE CASEY PROBABLY DID TO CAYLEE? THE 2 YEAR OLD WOULD ALWAYS WIN IF YOU DIDN'T MURDER THEM FIRST? (NO PUNT INTENDED) I raised 6 kids with all of them turning 2 on one birthday or another! they are all still alive. I have my 2 year old grand-daughter living with us and shes very much alive.

Disgusted   May 14th, 2009 5:15 pm ET

Robin And Susan pass that pipe...You both have your heads in the sand. The Anthony's have empowered and placed themselves out there for monetary gain, Nothing more.

To have compassion yes, when they stop insulting the public !
All I see is two people that have circled the wagons, and refuse to accept the truth. This is by their own device, both have a choice.

So perhaps you both should entertain a letter campaign to support the very people that continue to facilitate the situation.

Your post will not bode well, and you both are entitled to your opinion's, but don't sell the crazy to real people that have endured the same nightmare.....Most would not, have not gone to the press, to capitalize ....self deprecation is ugly coping!

Diana   May 14th, 2009 5:15 pm ET

Of course they know their evil daughter is guilty.... and the reason they were on LKL was to promote their scam kidfinders, sell teddybears to collect money from people to pay for Casey's defense.

Susan   May 14th, 2009 5:23 pm ET

Hey Disgusting – I hope you have not gone through anything like this because I would not wish it on anyone. But I don't give a damn whether you agree with me or not. You are right – I am entitled to my opinion and it is my hope the most of the country will have some common sense when it comes to making judgements about something they really know nothing about. In my opinion, Disgusting, you have no concept of what intelligent thinking is about.

Oh, and don't tell me what to do....I am not interested in a letter campaign unless it's to get you some help.

No Rose   May 14th, 2009 5:25 pm ET

Exactly Diana.

kathryann   May 14th, 2009 5:38 pm ET

It's obvious to me that the Anthony's are suffering because they are lying. They are not in denial or stupid, they know exactly what they are doing and saying. If they want everyone to stop picking on them, so they say, why don't they stay home and shut up????

Disgusted   May 14th, 2009 5:40 pm ET

Fair Enough Susan, Try not to pontificate, and soapbox.

My reply was for you to see the hypocrisy...people will not accept the tactics thinly veiled by the Anthony's to sell the FRAUD!

Jeff   May 14th, 2009 5:45 pm ET

Susan –

may I suggest you read up on this case...Cindy Anthony has changed her stories multiple times at multiple levels. Compassion? For what?

Why do the Anthony's need compassion when they have made a cash cow out of an innocent 2 year old child named Caylee Anthony and will use that money to defend the monster that is charged with murdering her?

Get a grip – maybe you could donate part of your paycheck each week to the Compassion for Anthony's Fund.

jaqasia   May 14th, 2009 5:47 pm ET

Once, just once I wish someone would take resposibility for their actions, its always got to be so ridiculous.

PLEAD GUILTY CASEY!

Clear your heart and your head and own up to what you did!

FRG   May 14th, 2009 5:47 pm ET

Mr. Larry King,
I have to admit I expected you to be softer on them as all of the others have been, I liked the way the interview was conducted. Great job!
As far as the Anthonys, they are on a media tour just to "taint the jury pool" and get an acquittal to their daughter. PITFUL!!! Well, I am sure Prosectution has the videotape of their interview and down the road they will be charged with obstruction of justice and lying to LE & FBI. All they have done is lying through their teeth!!!! Even Brad Conway was lying, how come??? There is plenty of circumstantial evidence to prove casey is guilty. NO matter what the Anthonys say, they are being more and more caught in their lies, so inconsistent!! If they think the media tour is helping Casey it really may backfire them big time!!!!!
The Anthonys are pathetic!!!

vavixen   May 14th, 2009 5:48 pm ET

Dear Larry,
I thought your questions were just perfect. You kept the pressure on oh so slightly. If you could only see the "other blogs" that are lighting up, digesting, studying, commenting, picking apart, the actions, ticks, blinks of the Anthony – you would be shocked.
It's amazing the cult following these people have, but rightly so, I mean, just like my ex who thought he had the credibility of a Visa card, they just don't realize that just because you say it, people don't have to BELIEVE it. "I am speaking, so it must be the truth" ... uh huh.

I feel sorry for them, I do. But own up to your mistakes as parents, own up to Casey's faults and realize that your daughter CAN still get a fair trial if you speak the truth. You cannot change the past, what's done is done, and now she has to pay the consequences.

I'd like to see them again on your show 🙂 You rock my socks Old man 🙂 I think i'll watch you more often.

Keri   May 14th, 2009 5:49 pm ET

Cindy stated in Sept. she was starting her foundation for Caylee's memory. What?? In September she was spouting off that Caylee was alive, george was watching the kidnapper that moved her 9 times, and giving the media all the fake sightings that Kidfinders made up. What a crock!!!
Larry great job!!!

The W.O.   May 14th, 2009 5:49 pm ET

The reason they agreed to go on the Larry King show is they know he is gullible.

Can you imagine how they would cope with Nancy Grace? Gee, they might have to tell the truth!

Susan   May 14th, 2009 5:51 pm ET

The Anthonys' are not trying to sell anything but their side of a horrible situation. Unfortunately for them, people have already condemned them and their daughter. If you have any proof of fraud, you should come forward. Otherwise, Disgusting, you are merely pontificating.

charlene rayburn   May 14th, 2009 5:55 pm ET

I have watched this unfold from the begining and have no doubt of Casey's guilt. Add up the 31days of not reporting her child missing, the misinformation to the police when it was reported, the lies and the thefts from friends &family,The party's, the shopping, movies and cooking for boyfriendsand always telling everyone Calee is fine .>shes at the park-shes with the sitter ect. Both Cindy and George are trying to compensate by denial unsuccessfully. The more thay protest the worse it looks.Casey needs a new lawyer. The best way for them to help is to advise her GET RID OF JOSE!!!

Susan   May 14th, 2009 5:55 pm ET

Jeff – you are jumping to several conclusions based on your very limited knowledge of the case. YOU get a grip – who the hell gave you the right to condemn people before they are even proven guilty? So much for the Justice System!!!!

Natasha   May 14th, 2009 6:00 pm ET

My heart and prayers go out to the the Anthony family. No one would want to be in their posistion, BUt WHO WILL SPEAK UP OF FOR CAYLEE? WHO WILL FIGHT FOR HER JUSTICE? Also, it was very SAD to see how CINDY CORRECTED THEIR "LAWYER". IF YOU ARE TELLING THE TRUTH< YOU TELL THE SAME STORY EVERY SINGLE TIME! But when you tell LIES, you have a HARD TIME KEEPING UP WitH THE LIES YOU TOLD. May Justice be Served.

Jeff   May 14th, 2009 6:02 pm ET

Susan –

listen to the audios of Cindy lying about how the car smelled for starters.............then listen the countless lies in her deposition under oath at Mr. Morgan's office.

Justice will be served in this case for Caylee Anthony.

Susan   May 14th, 2009 6:04 pm ET

Jeff – I certainly hope so because if you have anything to do with it, Justice will not be served.

Sassy   May 14th, 2009 6:15 pm ET

I hope a full blown investigation is done on the foundation that they have set up in Caylee's name.

Gail High   May 14th, 2009 6:19 pm ET

I think the Anthonys had already decided they would abswer nothing that Larry felt would be interesting.

Sassy   May 14th, 2009 6:19 pm ET

After last night, I think George and Cindy need to go home and just be quiet. Stay out of the media. No one is dumb enough to believe the lies. Who do they really think they are fooling? GMAB.

jake   May 14th, 2009 6:23 pm ET

Thank you Larry.
I am pleased that you confronted the anthonys with logical, reality based questions. It is not your fault that they allude the truth. I give you an A.

Emily   May 14th, 2009 6:23 pm ET

So the Anthony's think it was alright for Casey to be out partying (or working as they said) just that "one night" after Caylee was supposedly kidnapped???????

Joe   May 14th, 2009 6:25 pm ET

Larry you handled the Anthony's quite well. You did not let them run your show. You are a true seasoned professional.

Jake   May 14th, 2009 6:29 pm ET

I agree with you Sassy and trust me ALL eyes are on their little cash crop foundation.

The Anthony's just cant seem to put their arms around the truth – Cindy is the biggest con I have ever seen in action – she is a sad sack.

I hope you are done interviewing them too Larry – Enough of scumbags who exploit children.

chuck   May 14th, 2009 6:30 pm ET

Job well done Larry. These folks make sense only to themselves. It could not have been an easy interview. Just one question...How did you get them to not smack their gum while speaking?

Gypsy DD   May 14th, 2009 6:33 pm ET

Kudos to this POSTER! This is exactly how I feel and many others I have spoken with today about this interview. Please do not give this family a platform anylonger..they are promoting their daughter's innocence and their pathetic take on "How One Should Act after the Death of Grandaughter at the hands of Your Daughter"...it is at best pathetic..at worse the fleecing of viewers who are not familiar with the key players, the evidence against their daughter and the money being made off of the death of their only Grandchild!

Disgusted May 14th, 2009 5:04 pm ET

Mr King:

Per your request regarding your interview with the Anthony’s et al.

Both Anthony’s continued to deflect from the answers to the questions you managed to ask, both failed and lied. With all the evidence in discovery, I found Conway’s answers, quite disturbing.

So what’s not to understand?

Your questions were repetitive and weak, who was running this segment. The Anthony’s should heed and take the advice that was offered by Law Enforcement during the earlier stages of the investigation, if you continue to alienate the press, the public will turn.
What an understatement! Cindy and George are not one step closer to recognizing the truth, if their daughter confessed.

If you had researched this case, you and your producers would have found discovery compelling, and in no uncertain terms the Anthony’s could refute.

In closing, I found your interpretation of an interview a failure, and another example of allowing a family to exploit Caylee Marie.

mitzie   May 14th, 2009 6:35 pm ET

Well it was a dirty job but you handled it well. Please, oh pretty please no encores. The truth will come out in court. I believe that most of your viewers are willing to wait. They need to go home and get real jobs. I am praying for justice for Caylee.

Susan said May 14th, 2009 5:51 pm ET

The Anthonys’ are not trying to sell anything but their side of a horrible situation. Unfortunately for them, people have already condemned them and their daughter. If you have any proof of fraud, you should come forward. Otherwise, Disgusting, you are merely pontificating.

Susan- I beg to differ on the above comment. The Anthony family has sold everything that will turn a profit for them off this tragedy. They started out selling t-shirts & bracelets with the help of their convict friends the Milsteads aka Kidfinders. They sold pictures & videos of Caylee to the media for big bucks. They have been use the media to proclaim their awful daughter's innocence & obtain free vacations. The Caylee Marie Foundation is nothing but a fraud. These people are selling downloads of software on web sites for $9.95 that should be free. Check it out by going to kidfinders, CMA foundation site, & Extreme Rescue.

Larry King- Why don't you & your producers do an investigation into Kidfinders, Never Lose Hope foundation as well as this new foundation with Cindy as president. What a joke!! This woman couldn't even manage her own finances. George & Casey were stealing her blind a she didn't even know it. Not the person I would trust to even work for me. Way too stupid.

Sunny   May 14th, 2009 6:40 pm ET

King questioned George and Cindy forcefully,

What channel were you watching?? LK DID NOT question them forcefully.....he didn't ask any of the HARD QUESTIONS! WHY Larry? What was your agreement with them. Did you even bother to check out the so called foundation? I can answer that for you...NO!! You have lost your touch LK. SHAME ON YOU! I was hoping you would join in being a voice for Caylee...you failed miserably. Why didn't you ask them how they were paying their bills? House payment, utilities, food, gas for the cars, private eye fees, nail and hair for Cindy? Why didn't you ask them when they were going to bury Caylee? Why didn;t you ask them why they cremated Caylee when Casey asked for a regular burial? Why didn't you ask them WHY they wanted immunity? Those would be just a few questions you COULD have asked....forcefully! But you DIDN'T! You certainly lost this viewer.

No Rose   May 14th, 2009 6:42 pm ET

Excellent comment Gypsy. The way these two lie and carry on, I have to believe they are really not trying to help their daughter, but purposely trying to do what they can to have her convicted, and then they will be looked upon as the poor Anthonys, who have lost a daughter and granddaughter. They want sympathy, and will stop at nothing to get it.

SLM   May 14th, 2009 6:46 pm ET

Waste of time, they are still in denial and would do anything to protect their murderous daughter. Too bad parents only want to cover up for their children, instead of teaching them ethics and doing the right thing. No Justice for Caylee.

Susan   May 14th, 2009 6:49 pm ET

Differ all you want Jo. The Anthonys' are just trying to make their way like everybody else....do you think they have been collecting much of a pay cheque in the last several months? I do not know what their financial situation is and neither do you.

If you are going to accuse them of fraud, then you better have proof. Otherwise, you are guilty of slander. Be careful who you accuse because presumptions are not proof of anything.

How dare you suggest that they are making money from the death of their precious granddaughter.

Bette   May 14th, 2009 6:56 pm ET

De-Nile is not just a river in Egypt. They need to stop the enabling, maybe the baby would still be here.

Becca   May 14th, 2009 6:57 pm ET

Robin May 14th, 2009 4:54 pm ET

People come on, if you look at George and Cindy’s face at any given time in this interview, you can see that they are clearly pained.

------------
Robin,

I am getting a little sick and tired of people saying "What would you do if you were in their situation ?

For your information, I lost my child ,so ,I will take it up on myself to answer for all parents that have. I would not fake a suicide by writing a novel ,buying a twelve pack and eat pizza while texting people about what I was going to do. This is not the way people act that going to commit suicide. Why do you believe Cindy ever considered suicide because she said so? At the same time she says this, she was looking for alive Caylee. Please, before you make remarks about how I should feel sorry for these things, get all the facts. Thank you!
All IMO, of course. Be well

Wheels   May 14th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

Susan, How dare the Anthony's not account for the money from the trust funds. They did not use the donations for the purpose stated on the trust agreement. That is a crime. The Anthonys could clear this matter up if they would stop ignoring the request for the accounting of the trust.

Fanny Mae   May 14th, 2009 7:00 pm ET

Wheels, did you enjoy your trip to LA?

Gina   May 14th, 2009 7:01 pm ET

Foget their words, look at & understand the body language, it gives their lies, deceit, their absolute knowledge of Casey;s guilt away!

How did you all like Cindy saying there was only ONE PICTURE OF CASEY partying after Caylee went missing & she was ‘working’ at Fusion that night?
That really got under my skin.

Casey was in a blue dress when she partied at Fusion on June 20th & Cindy claims there was just ONE PHOTO of Casey partying after Caylee went missing. But, on another occasion she’s in a solid black dress at Fusion with Tony Lazzaro. She’s got a long strand of pearl beads on with a solid black dress on, short like the blue one. And judging by her hair style & length it looks around the same time as the ones from June 20th. So I think Cindy is full of BS, there’s more than one set of photos of Casey after she killed Caylee.
What about the Blockbuster surveillance of her hanging all over Tony, that was July? What about the video surveillance of Casey forging checks in a bank & shopping with stolen checks at Target?
What about all the texting Casey did about partying after she killed Caylee, it goes on & on? What about the time she was at a party then left because she found out Lee was following her tracks & was going to confront her. That was partying after she killed Caylee!!
Yet Cindy pretends their was just ONE PICTURE OF CASEY partying with a blue dress, even on that night they took several pictures of her shaking her stuff & groping another girl. That lie bugs me for some reason, she thinks everyone is so stupid to believe her.

The beautiful life tattoo in July.

Anthonys: Caylee’s Killer Still Loose
May 14, 2009 by: Express
George and Cindy Anthony appeared on “Larry King Live” Wednesday night to discuss their daughter, Casey Anthony, and the first-degree murder charge against her.

Casey Anthony is in jail on charges that she killed her daughter, Caylee Anthony.

Caylee was missing for six months when her body was found in a wooded area near the Anthony family home in December.

George and Cindy Anthony discussed several topics with King, including evidence against their daughter and why they have not visited her in jail in months.

King pressed George and Cindy Anthony about Casey Anthony’s guilt and the parents’ unwavering support for their daughter.

Cindy Anthony said she asked her daughter directly if she killed Caylee, and Casey Anthony said no.

George and Cindy Anthony told King whoever killed their granddaughter is still out there.

Cindy Anthony said the family has a private detective and the defense is also looking for another suspect in Caylee’s killing.

When asked if they knew of any other suspect, the Anthonys’ attorney, Brad Conway, said the family could not comment on the matter at this time.

George Anthony told King he knows Casey Anthony did not kill his granddaughter because he “saw the love she had for Caylee.”

King asked the Anthonys why their Casey Anthony did not call police until 31 days after Caylee went missing and was photographed out partying while Caylee was missing.

”A lot of people do weird things under stress and tragedy. It doesn’t make her guilty,” Cindy Anthony said.

When King asked the Anthonys about what should happen to whoever did kill Caylee, Cindy Anthony said she did not believe in the death penalty for anyone.

George and Cindy Anthony also discussed a foundation they have launched in Caylee’s name. They said the proceeds will go to counsel families when a child goes missing.

The Anthonys told King they grew tired of recordings of their visits with their daughter being released to the public, which is why they have not visited her in jail in months.

Phred   May 14th, 2009 7:10 pm ET

when will cindy be arressted for obstruction???? Law enforcement asked her for lil Caylees hair brush for dna purposes and cindy bragged afterwards that she intentionally gave them the wrong hair brush. George sits there like a puppet waiting for control freak Cindy to pull the strings and tell him what to say. When Casey walks into court with her smirk she acts like its a game, thinking she is one of the lawyers, how about a little contrition, at least act like youe remorsful and miss your daughter.... watch the jail phone tapes .... its all me me me ..... i have no one to hug me ..... no one to hold me .... no one to talk to me ..... blah blah me me blah blah blah
Cindy is a gum chewing, smirk wearing, narcisstic, liar who thinks she is better, and smarter, than law enforcement and the lawyers
No wonder Casey thinks she can get away with murder, her idea of law enforcement is George , he can't even keep his lies straight.
R.I.P. Caylee, mommy will join you soon after the jury convicts on the death penalty.

sharon   May 14th, 2009 7:11 pm ET

31 DAYS ! NO LOVING MOTHER WOULD WAIT THAT LONG TO TELL ANYONE HER CHILD IS MISSING ,THAT SAYS IT ALL.

rita (mother of 3)   May 14th, 2009 7:13 pm ET

Anthony's sure have toned-down their self-righteous indignation in their interviews now-after the backlash at the belligerent, contemptuous attitude they directed at the attorneys during the recent deposition for the unfortunate Zenaida Gonzales, caught in the middle of all this unbelievable family's lies and nonsense. How typical of Cindy to now claim that the reason people won't buy their family's hogwash explanations is that bloggers probably "don't have children and all they do is blog"-Well, at least they arent busy killing their young, then covering up and obstructing justice.

Maria   May 14th, 2009 7:14 pm ET

Since my first comment was blocked (I don't understand why.), I will say it more simply...

Why should a respectable talk show host tarnish his reputation and that of his show by entertaining two people of such poor calibre...Their false drama and perennial lies reflect badly on the show and, especially, on their attorney (who, until now enjoyed an excellent reputation among his peers)...Caylee didn't have a chance in life with those three in life; and now in her death, the Anthonys are commercializing her memory for personal gain, and making a mockery of her death.

All these people are doing is perpetuating the crime and adding insult to injury...The public has had it with them, as you can see in this blog and all those in the Orlando area...Just, PLEASE, let them go back into anonymity!!!

Barbara   May 14th, 2009 7:17 pm ET

I looked at the website for The Caylee Marie Foundation, other than donating tiny little bears there is no real substance...There are no drs. or psychologists volunteering their time to help families in distress over a missing child...Normally real foundations have professional staff with integrity to donate their time...I think if this is the only way for the Anthony's to cope with their loss maybe they should volunteer themselves at a children's hospital or homeless shelter, serve meals to homeless kids...it would be more rewarding to them than a foundation with no real purpose asking for donations and using the money to send out tiny bears...What about the rest of the donations??? Supporting their family paying The Anthony's bills? They are just as bad as KIDFINDERS who is run by a felon, and they have never found one child!!! How about a real program like missing and exploited children...? You can email The Anthony's with your thoughts at: cma@cayleemarieanthonyfoundation.net

Sally   May 14th, 2009 7:19 pm ET

I think the Anthonys with their media blitz, may just seal a decision on a change of venue. If they are part of the defense, they are contributing to the media. They may be responsible for the judge saying, why should we have a change of venue when you are out there fanning the flames.

Judy   May 14th, 2009 7:19 pm ET

I did not watch the program so how can I grasp how it went. When
George and Cindy Anthony are on TV it is the same old thing, same
lies, nothing new. I change the channel every time their face is on TV.

I have a serious problem with this Foundation to help other people. George and Cindy are unstable, their behavior is erractic and they are
in no position to help other people. What kind of training have they had with trauma victims? How can they guide them with law
enforcement when they were so abusive and lied to them. Cindy
laughed and bragged about giving them the wrong hair brush. How
are they going to help them deal with the media? Would they turn it into a circus like they did with this case? Those suffering trauma
don't need the Anthony's explosive temperments. They blamed law
enforcement, Casey's innocent friends, the media and now it is the
bloggers who don't understand unconditional love. If it wasn't so sad,
I would have to laugh.

The Anthony's used Larry King to promote this Foundation and to
defend their daughter. What else is new?

Mary Ann in Texas   May 14th, 2009 7:25 pm ET

Cindy gave a sarcastic grin when Larry asked her if she had a suspect in mind who killed her granddaughter... She and George will try to pin it on one of Casey's ex boyfriends....They will do anything to convince a proposed juror someone else did it... Will they be asked in court who they suspect?

Betty Schultz   May 14th, 2009 7:29 pm ET

Has anyone taken time to think that maybe Casey isn't lying when she says she did not kill her daughter. As a grandparent , I feel the Anthonys pain and I haven't loss any of my grandchildren. If something like that happened to mine I would feel the same way the Anthonys feel. I think it is wrong to question them about there daughter and do they feel she's guilty. That's their daughter and the victim was their precious grand daughter. Maybe the child died accidently and no one murdered her. It's sad that a child that young has been taken, but we need to go at the procedures another way. Has any law officials asked Casey if she maybe died fron an accident and was afraid to tell because of being called a murder like she has been? Or maybe she had something going on with a political figure and had the baby in the trunk of her car while they were doing their thing. If I'm not mistaken it was very hot around that time and the car was probably still running with the AC, not thinking about the baby asleep in the trunk. She may have been asleep and was put in the trunk and when she was discovered dead Casey and her remaining family may have been threatened by this married political figure that didn't want this exposed because it would name him in the picture and he didn't want to lose his fame and fortune over this. The Anthonys have been saying all alone that they feared for each others lives. Why, unless someone threatened them and that leaves everyone in danger. I want to believe Casey didn't kill little Caley. I believe if she had it would have already come out. We just pray that if the child was murdered that whoever did it gets caught and goes to prison for this hidious crime.
That's just my opinion.

Sarah   May 14th, 2009 7:32 pm ET

I think George & Cindy believes that their daughter had something to do with the death of their granddaughter. However, as parents they feel the need to proctect their daughter.

Gina   May 14th, 2009 7:36 pm ET

Betty says-Has anyone taken time to think that maybe Casey isn’t lying when she says she did not kill her daughter.

Uh, no-unless I had a horrible accident which left me brain dead, or I knew nothing about the case except for the lies, obstructions, tampering, & framing of others that the criminals George & Cindy Anthony have been spewing since about day 2 of the investigation.

Gina   May 14th, 2009 7:49 pm ET

Protecting a daughter & lying for & being a cover-up for murder is 2 different things. Their enabling of Casey's lying, stealing, whoring, murder is exactly why she will be sitting on death row awaiting euthanasia. I can't wait until miss baby killer is put out her misery, then I never have to here another word from the pathological liars, sociopaths & all around nasty individuals George & Cindy Anthony. They don't care about justice for their granddaughter, only about freeing her psycho bi*** killer.

there is no use to even try any more to make any sense of this family, even Brad Conway is under Cindy's rath now, and George is a mouse, I think even male mouse has some balls but not George Anthony!!!
and how in the world they are not in obstruction of Justice?

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS ONE?

Dianne   May 14th, 2009 7:56 pm ET

I feel sorry for George and Cindy. They're caught between a rock and a hard place. They have lost their only Grandaughter, and now they're about to lose their only daughter. I do however, believe that George and Cindy are being blind-sighted. I believe that Casey Anthony is responsible for Caylee's death. All the evidence points to her, yet George and Cindy, refuse to even think that their daughter could even think of doing something like this...murdering their Grandaughter, precious Caylee Marie. They really need to open their eyes to the truth!
Dianne

Phred   May 14th, 2009 7:58 pm ET

in the jail phone tapes Casey tells Lee .... mom says i'm an unfit mother and maybe i am ...... last night Cindy praised what a great loving mom she was ..... Cindy pick a lie any lie and stick with it ...... better yet ..... go home turn off the phone and SHUT UP ..... your tainting the bloggers or should i say jury pool thus killing your daughter

The W.O.   May 14th, 2009 8:14 pm ET

It's not called 'protecting' when what you are actually doing is aiding and abetting a murderer, despite their relationship to you.
They are accessories after the fact.

The W.O.   May 14th, 2009 8:16 pm ET

It is a matter of public record that Cindy told Amy Huizenga that she was going to apply for custody as she thought Casey was an unfit mother.

Now, listen to last night's transcript and hear what they both say about Casey and her parenting ability.

Nothing has changed since the last interview.
LIES as usual.

Alma   May 14th, 2009 8:26 pm ET

After all is said and done, a beautiful little girl is gone!!! The Anthonys should be ashamed of themselves. They have lied, so much they do not no the truth or what truth is. A child is dead what else needs to be said and instead of the family wanting closure they continue to go out and try to convince us that Casey is innocent, this is B.S., she did it and if they really want justice they would tell the truth and let poor innocent Caylee rest in peace. I hope they all get whats coming to them. No body in their right mind beleives that this whole family is normal, because they are not.
My brother was killed over 25 years ago, and to this day I think of him and how much his life was cut short by an animal. He was killed by a stranger and I cant forgive him. This angel was killed by her own mommy the person she probally trusted most in her short life. How disguesting that they claim that Casey is not guilty!!!!!!!!!! Justice for Caylee is the least they can do, since they allowed a unfit person raise that beautiful little girl. They all knew that Casey was not a good mom let they allowed her to raise Caylee and for 31 days that baby was lying in a field less than 1 mile from their home.

To the Anthony family, you will soon all get what you deserve, all we can all do now is pray that you will all be brought up on charges and pay for the death of that little girl. I feel strongly that you are some how to be held responsible.

M Palmer   May 14th, 2009 8:30 pm ET

George and Cindy know that Casey murdered that little girl. In fact I think that is why George was so suicidal. I think that is when he found out the truth and he had to make the decision to keep that to himself or he would loose his daughter too. I think he is really struggling with the truth and as far as Cindy goes I do not think she ever thought about suicide, people like her do not think that way. They are far too self absorbed to consider that. They were just too vague in that interview to be telling the truth. If you are telling the truth you should not have to worry about how people take it. The truth is the truth.

YupIzMe   May 14th, 2009 8:31 pm ET

I understand the conditional love they have for their daughter; however, they've both living on the river denial. All Casey's lies and actions lead only to one conclusion... that she did indeed kill her daughter. I, for one, will be very happy when the trial starts and the circus ends. No other family of a murder suspect has made themselves more available to the media than the Anthony's.

You see by the way Cindy acted at the deposition for Zenaida Gonzalez exactly why Casey is the way she is. I cannot imagine having Cindy as a mother growing up. It must have been a horrible experience being brow-beaten and verbally abused on a daily basis. Oh yeah... and let's not forget.... physically abused. Cindy DID try to strangle Casey according to reports Cindy is one of those women who never should have had children. Caylee was her way of trying to redeem herself for all of the mistakes she made with Casey and Lee growing up. Lee... who by the way, is making himself pretty scarce these days and keeping out of the limelight. Which is exactly what George and Cindy should do. But apparently, that's something Cindy can't do without.... being in the limelight.

Watching LK last night, I saw how Cindy glared at her attorney when he either said things she didn't like, or when she wanted to let him know that he BETTER answer it the way SHE wanted it. And I saw how George cringed every time LK said "Caylee's body" or "the body". Poor man is suffering in more ways than one. He lost his beloved granddaughter, his daughter's being accused of murdering her (and most likely will be convicted), and his wife is a control freak.

Cindy mentioned that she considered suicide back in August. She didn't know Caylee was deceased, only missing. Wouldn't she want to stay around and help find her? Be around when she came home, since she insisted adamantly that Caylee was still alive? It makes absolutely no sense, unless she knew Caylee was already dead.

And, Casey.... why would she react so violently and become ill when the announcement was made that the remains of a child were found. No identification had been made at that point in time. It was only speculation that the remains were Caylee's. She had to have known that it was her child by her reaction. She knew where she left her child's body, and knew she was caught.

kprda1980   May 14th, 2009 8:38 pm ET

DID CINDY SAY THAT CAYSEE WAS GRIEVING TO LARRY WHEN HE ASKED CINDY WHY CAYSEE DID NOT REPORT HER DAUGHTER MISSING FOR 31 DAYS? that was Larry's question so if she was grieving, I thought we grieve over a death of a loved one, don't we?

No Rose   May 14th, 2009 9:03 pm ET

Betty Schultz, ( We just pray that if the child was murdered that whoever did it gets caught and goes to prison for this hidious crime.) I hate to break it to you but the person who murdered the child is already incarcerated. Where have you been?

jo   May 14th, 2009 9:17 pm ET

Betty Schultz said May 14th, 2009 7:29 pm ET

Has anyone taken time to think that maybe Casey isn’t lying when she says she did not kill her daughter.

Betty- That would be the one & only lie she or Cindy haven't told. LMAO Please read the court documents & it will all become crystal clear to you. Casey Anthony killed her own child & drove around with her in the trunk for several days. She never reported her missing because she was too busy partying, snacking up with guys, pretending to work, text messaging her friends, stealing & shopping. The right person is behind bars & the right person will either go to prison for life or receive the DP. No doubt in my mind. I also think the rest of the liars need to be there with her.

wendy   May 14th, 2009 9:24 pm ET

i have a daughter and grand-daughter at the same ages as the anthony's and i'll tell them this i would never back my daughter at all if she was to do this to her child NEVER!! I do love my daughter too but IF she ever did this it would certainly be over as far as i'm concerned She could rot because i would have respect for my g-daughter who obviously can not defend herself RIP caylee–there are MANY people praying for YOU and pray YOUR MOTHER pays for her actions!!

Dawn   May 14th, 2009 10:02 pm ET

Your heart and gut never lie. The Anthony's know Casey is guilty as we all do. I don't understand why they are on the talk show circuits defending Casey when they know in their hearts she did it. They should be home greiving instead of trying to convince the public that she's innocent. They disgust me. If it were my family, I would not be talking to the news I would be home greiving and praying for God to speak to Casey's heart and lead her do the right thing for a change.

LasVegasAnnie   May 14th, 2009 10:22 pm ET

I have 5 married daughters and 15 grandchildren (including step-grandbabies) so I understand the deeply-felt love for children and grandchildren. Having said that, I simply do not understand how horribly judgmental people have been of the Anthony's efforts!

The poor people are so distraught and hanging by emotional threads, I don't know how they go on. They are not under suspicion of anything. What have THEY done except to care for their precious granddaughter and try to support their un-adjudicated and imprisoned daughter? Who among you wouldn't do the same?

By the way, in the US judicial system, the accused are innocent until PROVEN guilty.

By their responses, it is clear the Anthony's do have another suspect in mind and, who knows(?), perhaps someone else did do it. When it comes to child neglect, abuse, and murder, anything is possible and, certainly, stranger things have happened.

Honestly, I too, think all roads lead to Casey, but I also know I have been very wrong about a lot of things in my lifetime - and I am not the judge or a member of jury.

Whether or not Casey is responsible for Caylee's death is not the grandparents' fault! Where's your compassion people? What if it were your child accused?

Judge not lest you be judged also. Let the judicial system do its job and stop vilifying the innocents.

meme   May 14th, 2009 10:25 pm ET

As anyone ever thought maybe one of the grandparents are to blame for the death of that precious Caylee....they are hidding something that is obvious....very dishonest people.......Cindy should be jailed with her daughter......George can't face anyone......please do not give them the time of day

GAIL ROMPORT   May 14th, 2009 10:55 pm ET

They can still love Casey and admit, acceppt and hold her responsible for killing Caylee. They should be standing on the side of the true victim-Caylee. Mom made her selfish choice-poor Caylee was an innocent baby who was in her way and a pawn used against Cindy. To believe somome else did it, they would have to kidnap Caylee, steal Casey's car and put littlte Caylee in it and keep it long enough for the body to begin decompsition, sneak into the Anthony's home to steal personal property of Caylee. I don't think i heard anything about her car being stolen or anyone breaking ino the house. Poor caylee has no one speaking for her. After watching Cindy, I see where Casey gets her lying, manipulative ways. I felt bad for George because I believe he wants to speak the truth and be a voice for Caylee-but he is weak and has let her down in order to keep in the good graces of Cindy. Caylee deseves better-it is not his fault he could not protect her then -but it is his fault he is not protecting her now. They know the truth-and what scares them- is that they know we do too. They should be ashamed for not honoring Caylee for the angel she was and for not portraying Casey for what she is. A thief, a liar, selfish, a bad mother and person. SHE IS A SOCIOPATH AND A KILLER. When they talk to Caylee, how do they explain why they want to protect the person who took her life. HOW COULD SHE FORGIVE THAT-AND WILL SHE? I KNOW I WILL NOT-THEY MAKE ME SICK.

prevost1580   May 14th, 2009 11:01 pm ET

Many of usdid NOT watch the interview because we already know the spin and we are tired of the media giving these criminals the time of day.

Oprah took the high road, what about CNN? and speaking of CNN,why won't the Anthony's do Nancy Grace??? things that make you go hmmmm.....

jeri   May 14th, 2009 11:26 pm ET

I just can't help but wonder where the outrage is from the Anthony's to find who murdered Caylee? They claim their irresponsible and worthless daughter is innocent so why aren't they searching for the person who killed Caylee and asking for the publics help?

WHY? Because they know Casey killed her and instead of doing the right thing and seek justice for Caylee they tossed her aside to defend her murderer.

I can't stomach listening to their excuses and lies for the very facts in this case and what is worse is they actually think those of us watching are wrong and don't understand – that is a laugh.

What part of not reporting your child missing for 31 days do THEY not understand? – none of Casey's friends even knew Caylee was missing and Casey was doing her own investigation?? – how was she conducting this investigation? By going to the bars, tattoo parlors, parties, shopping at Target with stolen checks?

Casey's actions (or lack of) are going to speak volumes in this case and then add the forensic evidence and it won't take a rocket scientist to come to the conclusion that Casey killed Caylee and the Anthony's have been covering up ever since Cindy called 911.........Cindy you can't take back the 911 recordings ......"it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

They need to disappear and stay out of the public arena because the more they talk the worse it gets, they will never ever find redemption from those of us who are seeking justice for little Caylee – no foundation will ever do her honor it is actually an insult and a slap in her face because her own grand parents have turned her into a money making opportunity that benefits them and ONLY them.

Rest in peace Caylee – you are in a better place.

Carol   May 15th, 2009 12:32 am ET

This was just a bunch of bunk. Larry you should read up on things before you have people like this on your show. Time for you to retire buddy you can't even keep names straight anymore.

Carol   May 15th, 2009 12:38 am ET

PS I will never ever watch your show again!

LasVegasAnnie   May 15th, 2009 1:21 am ET

The comments by people on this board are scary: Prejudicial, name-calling, slander, arm-chair psychoanalysis, irresponsible vilification, cold-heartedness, lack of empathy, etc., etc., etc.! Where's your common sense and human kindness?

Seriously, some of the things some of you folks are saying are so hateful, I'm truly shocked. If I were you, I'd worry more about my own mental/emotional stability and ask myself what is missing in my life that I have to pathologically obsess on what motivates the poor bereaved grandparents of Caylee (and parents of the accused). I suppose each of you is perfect and saintly and would respond perfectly when faced with so much pain and heartache? Not.

NONE of you have seen all the evidence or know all the facts of this case - nor has anyone else. So, for Heaven's sake, lighten up until all the facts/evidence are known/verified. Apparently, you've all been viewing far too much tele-yellow-journalism.

Heaven help any/all of you mean-spirited and judgmental souls if any of you or your family members are charged with anything. I've always said that the only thing that could possibly be worse than being a victim of a crime (as I have been) or having a family member be victimized, would be to be a family member of the accused (which I have never been).

Shame on all of you in your virtual/online stoning of the Anthonys!

Kathy   May 15th, 2009 1:24 am ET

We all know that pig is guilty as sin, which to me has been proved by her own actions, over and over again, throughout the course of the 30 days until Cindy tracked her down.. Cindy talks about motive – well only one person had motive to kill that baby and the motive was Casey wanted to be free of both Caylee and Cindy, and be a party girl. The idiot was such an ego-maniac, that she just about left a diary on facebook and myspace.. (Oh yeah, I forgot, she was looking for Zanny the nanny while bumping and grinding with that other girl at Asian Fusion..PUHLEEZE!! And O.J. was probably there, looking for the drug dealers..) Cindy is bamboozled by that lying, sneaking murderer, but George knows the truth in his heart of hearts, and was looking for the great escape in January.. Poor guy is between a rock (Cindy) and a hard place (Casey)... I wouldn't be surprised if he really did end it all, and leave a suicide note confessing to save that sleeze of a daughter (but mostly to get away from Cindy.. What a controling whacko she is..) The real Cindy + George are the ones you see in the deposition.. All this new look (no doubt advised by their lawyer), is wasted on those of us who now know the real you..LOL! Another real shame to this ongoing fiasco is what this ridiculous affair is doing to the tax payers of Florida.. And what about that dream team of lawyers, I hear tell we are going to foot the bill for that as well.. So long story short is that Casey's pack of lies is affecting the entire state of Florida, Cindy, George + Lee have lost all of our sympathy and respect, and the real heartache is this; All of the people in this state, and all over the country want nothing more than justice for that beautiful little angel Caylee.... And the people that were entrusted to love her the most, have forsaken her.. I hope that Cindy, George + Lee can accept the fact, that the last thing that beautiful little baby saw in life, was her mother covering her tiny mouth with the duct tape Cindy or George no doubt bought... And then they could ponder the thought, that it wouldn't have been necessary to silence a dead child. God Bless you little Caylee Marie, and sleep well in the arms of our Lord..

Kathy, South Florida (stay in Orange County!!)

Magic Eyes   May 15th, 2009 3:03 am ET

Thankfully, because of YouTube and transcripts, I did not participate in your ratings. Your show was exactly what so many told you it would be. You, not asking them the tough questions and them not answering anything truthfully. Even their attorney lied about things we know for a fact not to be true. I am so ashamed for you and your producers. You bought into their lies for ratings and blood money and you let them disgrace that baby once again. Letting them show that 99cent bear, that they shamefully named the Caylee bear was unforgivable. Their foundation is a blood money-making scheme. You have no idea how many people are writing and boycotting your sponsors. How do you live with yourself? Oh, that's right, just like the Anthony's, the money makes it all better. 😦

Susan   May 15th, 2009 3:03 am ET

Let me start by saying I am not the same Susan as above and do not have the same views that she has. No one blames the Anthonys for standing behind their daughter. The problem most people have with the Anthonys is they insult the intelligence of every person who has followed this case from the beginning. Cindy said that there was only one picture of Casey (blue dress) after Caylee went missing. What about the picture of Casey dressed in the flag? What about the picture of Casey at the bank, cashing checks on Amy's account? What about the pictures of Casey at Target, spending Amy's money? What about that great tattoo she got after Caylee went missing (Cindy's words, mine would be murdered by her mother)? What about the video of Casey and Tony at Block Buster, renting videos on the very night Caylee went missing (murdered)?

Oh, and she wasn't arrested for lying about not having a job. She was arrested because everything she told LE about the Nanny, the Apartment where she dropped Caylee off, the Job, her friends at Universal..... All lies, that's why they arrested Casey.

Last, but not least, the only way Cindy's refrigerator would smell like a dead body, is if Casey stored Caylee's "remains" there before she tossed her in the woods.

Don't even get me started on the bears. When did Cindy decide she liked the Orlando Police? Enough to GIVE them anything, much less bears. I think not.

angela   May 15th, 2009 3:16 am ET

I love this show and I honestly couldnt watch, I just knew nothing new would be said, no revelations would be made, there was just nothing to gain at all from watching this interview. As the Bible says to everything there is a season and their the time has past.

bignosycat   May 15th, 2009 3:35 am ET

Thank you for the interview Larry Kinf, it was great you asked some hard questions. I would have liked to see some bloggers on the show as they had no opportunity to back up their statements. I would like to see Larry King provide some airtime for them. These people poured their hearts out on the blogs and your viewers did not get a chance to hear them. I blog on an awesome website that has all the case evidence documents, FBI and police interviews. The bloggers on this site are well informed they know the case inside and out. The documents are current. You ask a question and my fellow bloggers will refer me to a document or police interview. These people are mothers, fathers, sisters brothers and they blog for many reasons. I can tell you they are not blogging to be nasty to the Anthony’s, they are blogging to be a voice for Caylee.

Please do another show, consider inviting bloggers, Richard Grund, Mike Brooks, Mark Klaas, Nancy Grace, Pat Brown, the criminal profiler; and Dr. Lillian Glass, the body language expert and of course some defence lawyers so the show will not be bias. There are many others that would welcome the opportunity to speak for Caylee I only suggest a few. We would like to see both sides of this story not a platform for the Anthony’s to sell their foundation. Check out the civil deposition to see the Anthony’s in TRUE form as they put on a show tonight as they had an agenda to promote their foundation.

If Casey did not kill Caylee why do the Anthony’ and Conway find the need to negate the evidence about the duct tape and heart sticker? If there was another murderer they would NOT do this. They would want the jury to hear this crucial information.

For many months I supported the Anthony’s felt such sorry for them but after reading Cindy’s FBI and police interview I changed my mind. I think it is okay for them to support their daughter but not by misleading the police and accusing many others of being a murderer. Cindy and George were so disrespectful and belligerent at the civil deposition

The first lie out of Cindy’s mouth was on the topic of suicide. On the Early show she told the viewers that Casey talked her out of it. On Larry King it was her faith?

If Casey did not kill Caylee why do the Anthony’ and Conway find the need to negate the evidence about the duct tape and heart sticker? If there was another murderer they would NOT do this. They would want the jury to hear this crucial information.

The Anthony’s used the media to find Caylee. They are the ones that created the mess. It goes both ways you get nothing free in life! If the Anthony’s do not want the media they should not go on Larry King, the Early show, Oprah (who cancelled them

Truth   May 15th, 2009 3:36 am ET

O.k., I'll try again..

Larry,
I’m a little surprised at the lack of analytical questions you asked. Cindy stated they (Cindy & George) did not expect to receive a salary. She did NOT say they WERE not receiving a salary or WOULD NOT receive a salary in the future. Your follow-up question to that remark should have been, “Are you, George, or Lee receiving any form of re-numeration from KidFinders Network or the Caylee Marie Foundation whatsoever? That should have been followed by, “I understand that you, Cindy , have retired and George is no longer working. Lee stated in his deposition with Attorney John Morgan that he moved back in with you to help financially support the family. He also stated he was employed by company that organizes parking for large events. Cindy & George, how are paying your bills -like your mortgage, utilities, medical, health insurances, taxes, groceries, etc.?

Larry, you really let a lot slide, completely unchallenged (like Brad Conway’s assertion that the duct tape stuck to Caylee’s hair was not wrapped around her skull- documented in Detective Yuri Mellich’s police report; the heart sticker affixed to the duct tape was speculation-Detective Yuri Mellich’s report clearly stated there was an impression as well as sticker residue in the form of a small heart and a heart sticker was found nearby= certifiable, verifiable photographed evidence= fact). You also let Brad Conway and the Anthonys skate on their “the State’s Attorney office and the Prosecution is releasing all this information-how unfair-sob, sob” platform. Your responsibility as a journalist was to point out, to both the viewing audience and the Anthonys & Brad Conway, that Florida has a Sunshine Law, that states that any information requested by the Defense becomes public record BY LAW and as such, is accessible to anyone making a request. As the host, you should have set the record straight and you did not. Instead, you allowed the Anthonys to once again, perpetrate lies…you enabled them.

I read that you pride yourself on coming into an interview without having read up on the guest/situation. No offense Larry, but if this interview is any indication, your viewers would be better served if you did your homework and came better prepared. There was a conspicuous absence of footage showing Cindy & George Anthony in their recent depositions with Attorney John Morgan. Why was that? Perhaps because Cindy & George were far from “being misunderstood”? Rather, they were defiant, contemptuous of John Morgan/ Zenaida Gonzales/ the deposition legal process, and completely out of control…far from the “victims” they asserted themselves to be on your show. Save three straight-forward questions, you furthered their PR campaign more than anything else. I’m really disappointed.

Terri   May 15th, 2009 3:49 am ET

I think Larry King has sunk to all-time lows for quite some time. He should be ashamed of himself. His show used to be great. Now it's all about capitalizing on sensationalism.

I will no longer be watching Larry King and have unsubscribed from his ridiculous emails.

Orfeo   May 15th, 2009 5:47 am ET

Putting aside how I feel about the Anthony's, I will say this: Some parents in their situation might turn against their daughter if they believed she murdered their grandchild. But some would not. Parents who would not turn against their daughter in such a situation would be foolish indeed to say anything that could end up on the media that could harm their daughter's case. They would lie because they would have to lie. Lies of this type are what Plato called "noble lies."

Beyond that, I find the Anthony's pathetic. Watching the lot of them, the parents, the brother, and Casey, is like watching a movie or TV show about one of the most dysfunctional families imaginable. I find it extremely hard to feel sympathy or empathy for any of them. But even so, I can't blame them for standing by their daughter even if they believe that she's factually guilty (and I find it hard to believe that they don't realize that she's guilty; they'd have to be dumber than dumb not to realize it). And I can't blame them for lying in order to protect her. (Whether their lies benefit her in any way is another story, but I assume that they think their lies might influence potential jurors to have reasonable doubt about her guilt.)

They are still annoying as hell, especially Cindy, though George is also a piece of work. Less dysfunctional people could tell noble lies in a situation like this without being as incredibly annoying as George and Cindy are, and without being as pathologically defensive as they are.

Marilyn   May 15th, 2009 8:03 am ET

I felt as though Larry King did about as good of job that could of possibly of been done. This is for Cindy. Cindy I am a mother also of a girl and a boy. My daughter also happens to be the same age as Casey. Last year I had a incident over my daughter and my grandson whom was two at the time. It was over the welfare of my grandson and we ended up in court. I can tell you I stood behind my grandson whom didn't have a voice. There would be no way I would ever condoned my daughter risking the welfare of that child. Yes blood does run thicker than water but there is a point that one must choose . I choose to help my helpless grandson no matter what. This would include prosecution of my own daughter to save or defend a helpless two year old. For your information this is my first blog. George your facial expression tell it all. You know your daughter played some part in Caylee's murder. And for this I am deeply sorry for you both. I know you two loved Caylee with all your heart. Like she was your daughter.

It is my understanding that while running a foundation out of your home, all bills (mtg., car, electricity. etc.) can be deducted from the donations and paid. So there, have a teddy bear!

When establishing a foundation out of your home, all monthly living expenses (bills) can be deducted from any donations. Need I say more?

What I see and hear from the Anthony's is WE WE WE .........George says at one point "Ever since this happened to US" I ask you George, US????

I didn't happen to YOU it happened to Caylee. Why aren't you screaming off the rooftops and pounding the pavement looking for who killed Caylee, who is speaking on her behalf??

Your foundation is not for Caylee it is once again about you, this so called front is not doing anything to benefit anyone, not missing children and their families and certainly not Caylee because according to the Anthony's there is a murderer out there somewhere. Hogwash is what I say, you people are going about protecting Caylee's honor all wrong your motivation is pure and simple -- the only beneficiaries here are yourselves!!!!!!!!

It is all about YOU.

Regina   May 15th, 2009 8:46 am ET

This thought just occured to me. All this time, I thought the Anthony's were trying to help their daughter, but maybe not. Who in their right mind, would continue this behavior, knowing full well, it continues to make them look bad and hurt their daughters chances? Cindy and George seem to be very passive/agressive. What an ultimate slap in the face to Casey? Cindy clearly loved Caylee more than Casey. Caylee was Cindy's do-over opportunity, because she failed at parenting Casey. Casey did not tow the line or become the daughter Cindy wanted. How dare Casey take that away from her! Cindy has to appear as loving mother of course, otherwise people might see her for what she is really is- a controlling lunatic. Caylee is lost forever-what better payback, than to exclaim unconditional love, while using those same words to ensure her daughter's demise. Cindy retains the title of the person who loved Caylee more, Casey is forever seen as the "unfit mother" just getting what she deserves. Cindy is allowed to continue to feel superior to her family, thus maintaining control,, a lesson to the rest of the family. Of course, this could be the residual affects on my brain from to many episodes of Law & Order lol. Just wondering is all 😉

Regina   May 15th, 2009 10:48 am ET

Once again, on LKL , we were able to watch George make faces while Cindy gave yet another story to contradict the last dozen stories she has told.
Actually these are not stories and this is not a fairy tale, as Cindy would have us believe. This is a true to life horror of a beautiful and trusting 2 year old who was murdered by her mother.

Cindy says all Bloggers do is “find fault, because that is what they do”. Cindy, what we are doing is seeking Justice for Caylee, your very own grand-daughter, to whom you seem so determined to deny justice.

Our numbers are steady and strong. We base our comments on the documents and evidence released, LEGALLY, under Flordia’s Sunshine Law. We also base our opinion on what you say and how you act. With you it is so difficult, because when we take the smallest statement at face value, you, in your next public display, change the story completely.
For instance, when you were on the “Early Show” you told of writing suicide notes back in AUGUST OF 08. That seemed odd – considering that we know back in August of 08 you were supposedly expecting Caylee to be alive. When asked what kept you from following through, you stated on the Early Show that it was Casey, that her being released from jail, “saved your life”. Then last night on LKL you stated it was your “faith” – yet you went on to say “people wonder how God could DO something like this”. God did not do this. Casey is the one -who of her own free will did this. I am sure as George has stated many times you” do not want to believe you raised someone who could do something like this” But you did raise her-YOU raised casey to be the murderer she is. YOU are the one profiting from Caylee’s Death.
The law says if a not for profit is operated out of the home- you are allowed to pay all related bills, mortgage, utilities and so on from the donations. You stated on LKL you do not “expect” a salary. I can see why not with these laws favoring your pocketbook so well. But do not expect to fool the American public, Cindy. We are not easily fooled and we WILL expose you. You say you have supporters who write you every day… There are hundreds of thousands of US, on many different sites, who manage to hold down full time jobs, pay our own bills and still follow our righteous path toward Justice for Caylee. We will NOT waiver!!

Inky   May 15th, 2009 11:47 am ET

Has anyone taken time to think that maybe Casey isn’t lying when she says she did not kill her daughter.

all she ever tells is lies..how can you believe her?

Maybe the child died accidentally and no one murdered her.

really, then why no call to 911,if accidental? why tape across her mouth, if it is accidental?

Has any law officials asked Casey if she maybe died fron an accident and was afraid to tell because of being called a murder like she has been?

LE sure did, and she told them another LIE..imagine that.

Or maybe she had something going on with a political figure and had the baby in the trunk of her car while they were doing their thing.

do you see how ridiculous this sounds? how many people put their 2 year old children in trunks so they can have sex?

what worries me is people like you who cannot see the evil. it bodes ill for all children when people put their heads in the cloud. You cannot help other children when you can't face, that people are evil in this world, and can and do murder their own children, and others...i think it could have been anyone, and people like you would still be in denial of the black truth in front of you, and more kids will die, because people just want to believe that their own flesh and blood could not kill..wake up people..it goes on every single day..sadly.

To reiterate Regina........WE will expose the Anthony's if their “Cash Finders Foundation" isn't on the up and up – WE will watch every move they make!!

About Cindy's non support of the death penalty I wish Larry would have asked her to elaborate and state why she takes that position. I can't imagine Cindy having any deep convictions about it from either an economical or emotional standpoint other than the fact that Casey faces it head on.

This just goes to show how ill willed and transparent these people are.

About blogger's Cindy – the vast majority of blogger's in the United States today are very intelligent, insightful and passionate about the subjects they follow, it is a way to learn, communicate and share ideas.

The type of people who blog vary from professionals such as doctors and lawyers to blue collar, retirees, homemakers and stay at home mothers (in case you are unsure of what that means – Yes they do have children) – the caliber and type of position they hold in society makes no difference, it is their passion for the subject they research and follow that does. Note I say research.

This may be a difficult concept for you to understand Cindy because your passion is about one thing and one thing only and that is "What have you done for ME lately"

You haven't the class or the will to seek justice for Caylee with the honor and respect she so deserves and I find that to be your loss in more ways than one.

Karma Police   May 15th, 2009 2:04 pm ET

I think Casey would rather spend the rest of her life in jail than to have to spend another second with Cindy.

Robin   May 15th, 2009 3:22 pm ET

To Disqusted :

Ok, I too hope that you have not had to deal with something similar in your life, I am sorry if you have.

Back to the case in point: MY RESPONSES TO YOU...

"Robin And Susan pass that pipe…You both have your heads in the sand". MY RESPONSE: MY HEAD IS NOT "IN THE SAND" LETS NOT INSULT HERE.

"The Anthony’s have empowered and placed themselves out there for monetary gain, Nothing more". MY RESPONSE: "EMPOWERED" THEMSELVES HOW? YOU HONESTLY THINK THEY ENJOY THIS? YOU THINK THEY WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS? YOU THINK THEY LIKE TO BE IN THIS CIRCUS. COME ON NOW.

"To have compassion yes, when they stop insulting the public! "MY RESPONSE: ARE THEY INSULTING YOU?

"All I see is two people that have circled the wagons, and refuse to accept the truth. This is by their own device, both have a choice." MY RESPONSE: THE TRUTH HURTS. IF ALL YOU SEE IS "TWO POEPLE CIRCLING WAGONS" THEN MY FRIEND, I THINK YOU NEED TO LOOK A LITTLE FURTHER.

"So perhaps you both should entertain a letter campaign to support the very people that continue to facilitate the situation." MY REPSONSE: COME ON, NO LETTER IS NECESSARY. THERE IS CLEARLY NO FACILITATING HERE, THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CIRCUS.

"Your post will not bode well" – MY RESPONSE: THATS OK.

"and you both are entitled to your opinion’s" MY RESPONSE: YES, WE ARE

"but don’t sell the crazy to real people that have endured the same nightmare MY RESPONSE: NOT SELLING ANYTHING MY FRIEND, ITS AN OPINION. AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT I MYSELF HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH THIS?

"Most would not, have not gone to the press, to capitalize" MY RESPONSE: I THINK THE MAJORITY OF THE PRESS HAS COME TO THE ANYTHONYS.

"Self deprecation is ugly coping!" MY RESPONSE: I AGREE

CORRECTION: "ALL OVER THE FACES OF GEORGE AND CINDY"

LET ME BE CLEAR TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE QUICK TO CLAIM TO KNOW MY STANCE AND JUDGE MY POST: I DO BELIEVE THAT CASEY KILLED HER DAUGHTER . I DO BELIEVE THAT GEORGE AND CINDY KNOW IT, I DO BELIEVE THAT THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH IT, I DO BELIEVE THE PRESS IS VISCIOUS, I DO BELIEVE THEY DONT WANT TO SEE THEIR DAUGHTHER DIE. I DO BELIEVE THAT THEY MAY FEEL TO BLAME. I DO BELIEVE THAT NO ONE BUT THEM KNOWS THE DEPTH OF THEIR OWN SITUATION – ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN THEM TO KNOW.

Robin   May 15th, 2009 3:40 pm ET

To Becca –

First , I am sorry for my loss and thank you for sonsidering mine...(you did not)

Dont bash me, clearly you are angry.

"I am getting a little sick and tired of people saying “What would you do if you were in their situation?" MY RESPONSE: I NEVER SAID THAT.

For your information, I lost my child ,so ,I will take it up on myself to answer for all parents that have. MY RESPONSE: I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

I would not fake a suicide by writing a novel ,buying a twelve pack and eat pizza while texting people about what I was going to do." – MY RESPONSE: HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT IS HOW IT HAPPENED?? YOU DONT...THE MEDIA TOLD YOU THAT. TAKE IT FOR WHAT ITS WORTH.

"This is not the way people act that going to commit suicide." VERY PRESUMPTIOUS ON YOUR PART

Why do you believe Cindy ever considered suicide because she said so? MY RESPONSE: EXACTLY

"Please, before you make remarks about how I should feel sorry for these things, get all the facts. Thank you!: MY RESPONSE: LADY, I NEVER TOLD YOU HOW YOU SHOULD FEEL. NOR, WOULD I.

All IMO, of course. Be well

Robin   May 15th, 2009 3:51 pm ET

OK, YES, I NEED T O SPELL CHECK. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

BECCA, I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING MINE...(YOU DID NOT)

Inky   May 15th, 2009 4:24 pm ET

and the award for best actress in a reality situation....CINDY aka Sindy, aka mommy dearest, aka satans army...

Kathy   May 15th, 2009 4:47 pm ET

I just hope this freak show doesn't get a change of venue, and take this fiasco on the road..This state simply doesn't need this burden, as it is in dire straights already financially, with the highest foreclosure rate in the country, and one of the very highest unemployment rates..(Real people, working hard, to keep roof's over our heads, and teach our children and grandchildren what "unconditional love" really is!) We are most assuredly, not storing our chloroformed or dead children, in the trunks of our cars, so we can hoot and holler on the stripper pole, after we buy a nice new dress and push up bra with money we stole from our friends and family.. (Remember when that question came up with George visiting Casey.. She spewed out, "I was in a time of desperation"... LOL! Desperate to hit up the clubs and live the single life is more like it.. And thousands of text messages to see who wanted to party with her.. (Funny how not one of those text messages mentioned any Nanny, or even Caylee, other than she's at the beach when somebody put it to her..)

I can't believe the Anthony's could even be stupid enough to believe all her lies.. It's all really very sad.

Fess up, own up + suck it up... Your dear daughter murdered your granddaughter, and you know it as well as the entire country knows it..(Poor George is just dying to unburden himself, but Cindy won't allow that..) Stop being a wimp George, and give that little one a little dignity for once.. You'll never settle your heart if you don't.

You (Anthony's) can run but you can't hide...South Florida, north Florida and the whole world knows the same truth you know. For God's sake (and Caylee's), try to muster up the one shred of dignity you might have left, and for once in your lives, pull your heads out of the sand, and tell the truth..

If not, you might as well pack your bags, when it's all said and done, because the people of this nice state of Florida, are just about at our wits end with the lot of you..

Kathy, South Florida

candy   May 15th, 2009 5:37 pm ET

cindy anthony is such an idiot god she is as CRAZY as her pathetic daughter they sound like parrots talking bad about nancey grace as if nancey grace cares what they think!!! cindy should be in cell next to her lame daughter. poor caylee

Responsible Grandparent   May 15th, 2009 5:49 pm ET

I can honestly say if my daughter murdered my grandchild, I would NOT stand by her. To me, that is the problem and the reason Casey felt entitled enough to even do such a horrific thing. She KNEW they would not desert her.

Casey never thought she would be caught or spend any time in jail because she believed they had the POWER to keep her out of both. They always had and each time she upped the ante. When she stole over $4,000 from her father, she told she was held up at gunpoint at a place she never worked. Cindy KNEW she did it so she made George stop questioning Casey about it and stopped a police investigation. That would have been a felony, but Cindy saved her just like ALL the times before.

I watched my brother let his son go to jail when he could have easily "bought" his way out of it, but my brother is a moral man and he felt since my nephew did the crime, he should do the time. That was the one and ONLY time my nephew ever got in trouble. The boys who were with him had parents who bought their kids out. Of the three of them, one is in prison for life, and two are dead. These young men are only in their twenties. My brother taught his son that there is a price to pay for crime – the others didn't. We see the results today, as my nephew is a good citizen with a good job and a nice family.

The Anthonys are totally lacking in morals and it have set the example for Casey all her life, so she had no qualms about murdering her child. When a parent will cheat, lie, steal, then the offspring will do the same. Good job there Cindy, raising a sociopath like yourself.

candy   May 15th, 2009 6:16 pm ET

re kate you must be an idiot!!!!!!!

candy   May 15th, 2009 9:40 pm ET

to the anthonys you are so beyond human. do you actually think ANYONE feels sorry for your ridiculous family no. caylee is the victim and your daughter is the killer.. you really shouldnt talk about "bloggers" because we are the ones that are going to bring your sick daughter DOWN.if i did something as sick as your daughter my parents would not lie for me as they shouldnt soon casey will be joining aileen wuornos leathel style. good riddens you stupid cluelss people wake up SHES GUILTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vicki   May 15th, 2009 10:04 pm ET

Cindy's comments about bloggers made me laugh because as sure as I know I am sitting here typing this I am sure Susan, I mean Cindy, is reading it........I literally laughed outloud when she said that, I bet she googles her own name over 100 times a day....she is just that into herself.

KARALEE   May 16th, 2009 12:00 pm ET

Cindy should be on death row and George should be growing a new set. I used to feel sorry for George but Cindy probably threatened to kill him if he spoke the truth. Cindy loves the spotlight and anytime she can be in the limelight with her stupid comments she goes for it. I would love to know how they are making it financially. They are having the time of their lives flying here and there and eating at all the posh restaurants. Cindy doesn't look like she's losing weight to me. Why does our media give these people the time of day? GEORGE WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE CINDY LIKE YOU DID BEFORE? SAVE Yourself. As for Casey she is a complete replica of her psycho mother

Reality   May 16th, 2009 12:36 pm ET

Yes Cindy and George,
innocent until proven guilty that is true about Casey. Lets look at the facts knowing you child was missing and not to report because of what you say she was affraid for her family and Caylee is not excuse. She couldnt go to her brother her parents her friends anyone to tell them that Caylee was in danager??? You believe you would do the same George or Cindy if Casey was missing at the age of 2 and was in danager? Casey couldn't go to the FBI no one? The sad thing is that if Casey did have something to do with Caylee's death and is set free what will she do if she gets out? Its something that as parents you really need to think about. Casey state of mind is not of a normal adult. Take the blinders off George and Cindy if she does get out you have your hands full all over again.

Myrna   May 16th, 2009 4:08 pm ET

They are parents and were grandparents, so I might have had some sympathy for the Anthonys had they not been so arrogant during the depositions related to the so-called Zanny suit.

To stretch our patience by their continuing refusal to look at matters in a more realistic way, no matter how painful, is an assault on the senses to watch them on TV.

I hope they are refused more media time considering they had no qualms about showing lack of respect for court-appointed processes.

There is so much Casey in Cindy and Cindy in Casey as far as I am concerned that that woman is incredible and it is disgusting to hear her whole take on this situation. This is a time to focus more on Caylee, justice for Caylee, and support those who will work for Caylee in the upcoming murder trial.

I am a mother too and our children cannot murder any more than strangers and walk free.

eastcoastdeb   May 17th, 2009 1:15 am ET

Dear Cindy,

I would personally like to thank you for your most recent interview with Larry King. I feel it was very enlightening to the general public. After viewing it again, I've chosen some points that I thought you expressed and presented very well. Once again, thank you for assisting the prosecution's case and for convincing the remaining uninformed public of your culpability and duplicity regarding the events leading up to and following Caylee's murder.
1.Thank you for demonstrating what a sham your suicide thoughts were and giving us yet another version of why you didn't finish the job.
2. Thank you for pointing out that you've considered exploiting your granddaughter before the public was told of her death.
3. Thank you for revealing more 'mistruths' about your foundation so that your records can be verified as false and misleading.
4.Thank you for choking back the laughter when George mentioned his 'suicide note' was eight pages so that we all can deny him any sympathy for the hoax.
5. Thank you for blurting out Casey only partied one night after Caylee's murder, this can now be contradicted by the state.
6. Thank you for stating that Casey was 'grieving' for her daughter during those 31 days that she supposedly searched for her and the 'nanny' in various bars.
7. Thank you for pointing out to the listening audience that Caylee's disappearance could only be equated with losing your cell phone or keys.
8. Thank you for pointing out that your unconditional love has limitations regarding Caylee and is only directed toward Casey.
9. Thank you for finally remaining silent regarding your fabricated 'suspects' and avoiding another one of the many lawsuits you will ultimately face.
10. Thank you for telling us you can communicate with Casey only through letters because their contents can't be utilized later to demonstrate your guilt in this matter.
11.Thank you for demonstrating that it is you and the defense who has turned this into a media circus while the prosescution is taking the high road of silence.

bignosycat   May 17th, 2009 2:09 am ET

Cindy , when Casey came home you put $200 in your pocket that was not yours. You now (or did at the time) know the money was Amy's have you given it back to her? You have maligned this woman and even suggested she was the nanny. If it were not for Amy you would have not found Casey. Is this how you thank people?

Reality   May 17th, 2009 12:10 pm ET

I really hope that Cindy is reading these posts. As you see Cindy you are doing a wonderful job. The more you go on these programs the more you are informing us what a joke you and George really are. Conway if you had any sense what so every you would inform your clients to keep quiet. Cindy and George have changed there stories so many times that at this point they can't keep them straight. Great job Cindy and George keep up the great work of convicting your daughter. These ppl that are posting might be on the jury and that one jurior that you hope for Oh, he or she will be well informed from the ppl who have followed this case from the beginning.

chere   May 18th, 2009 4:27 am ET

Well, I elected not to view the actual interview, but rather have viewed a great deal of the text of the interview and it's pretty much the same old, same old.

Larry, I have heard and read a great deal of positives on your interview. One thing should be noted.

Cindy and George are indirect victims of a crime, and if there is one thing I have noted is that generally, victims of a crime seek closure. Family members of someone slain in a violent crime do more to seek justice for their lost family member. They cooperate with law enforcement in an effort to seek justice and take some comfort when the gavel falls knowing that despite not bringing their loved one back, that justice has been served to the best of the law's ability. Following that, they attend every parole hearing and appeal in order to let the courts and the public know the impact of a person's crime against their loved ones.

For the Anthony's, it is truly a dillemma when the one responsible IS a loved one. Yes, most of us know what unconditional love is. All the worst criminals in history all were once someone's pride and joy. This is something the public knows, although we cannot all stand up and say that we know what the Anthony's are going through, we can't. One thing we do know is that Law Enforcement have the person responsible behind bars. If there were any proof of the contrary, she would be freed. If I were in Casey's shoes and if there was ANY proof to the contrary, I would certainly not let my lawyer wait to take it to trial to prove everyone wrong. That just does not make sense folks..

As I can feel sorrow for the Anthonys, there is no imminent danger of revealing the 'true' killer. The true killer is behind bars. Recently, a child in Las Vegas was kidnapped by perhaps the most dangerous of criminals, but despite the danger, the mother had no problems disclosing to law enforcement the specifics of what she knew. Publicity saved that child. George had mentioned previously that he was "watching" those people responsible. If George thought that his granddaughter or anyone else in his family were in danger, he certainly would not have disclosed it..

chere   May 18th, 2009 4:53 am ET

Rather, he would have not disclosed that he was WATCHING them.

Cindy and George, it's a safe bet that you are not so popular and it's due to your insistence that your daughter can do no wrong and law enforcement and the media are conspiring against Casey. Not law enforcement, the media, Zanny nor any of your daughter's friends are responsible for this. Casey is. That we all know to be true and attempts to sugar coat this in the media only serve to give everyone more reasons to dislike you. Law enforcement are not perfect, but they would not spend this many man hours and dollars to prosecute this case if they didn't have the right person. It's unfortunate that when the sentence is delivered, you will have forgotten about Caylee.

Law enforcement have the right person and many are sorry for you, but the more you do this, the LESS people will feel sorry for you, but rather, those who still sympathize with you will dispise you. Let the law take it's course, pray for your loved ones, both living and not, stay at home and above all, make no comment.

Emily   May 18th, 2009 6:25 pm ET

Didn't Cindy Anthony say not that long ago that she DID have "Zanny's" phone number????????

Pat   May 18th, 2009 8:40 pm ET

In Cindy 's Deposition she said she had the name and phone number of Zanny, but never called or went there.

Pat   May 18th, 2009 8:42 pm ET

Oh and Cindy also stated she doe' know know what she did with the address or phone number, how convenient.
