Ask Don a real good question-If he had it to do all over again, would he strive to become rich? I'd love to hear his answer-Hefner and others seem to have some real doubts but the dye is cast. Maybe a better question is-Can money buy happiness?

Joe G. (Illinois)   April 15th, 2009 2:34 pm ET

Talk is free.. But some people say that it’s cheap.. Which one are you Mr. Trump?

Dave of Detroit   April 15th, 2009 2:51 pm ET

Follow up question-Does he think that the U.S. is going through or coming to a tax revolt with all these Tea Parties? A lot more has been revealed about what is really going on in D.C. than the common folk commonly have to digest with all the bank failures, etc, and now the States are passing laws to reassure that the Federal Government stays out of State Business. If Dobson follows up on his plea for people to back him against the Congressional Bill forbidding Christian Broadcasting and all of these causes come to fruition at the same time, the real intrusion by the Federal Government by all three branches could result in a really violent backlash-I lived through the 1967 riots in Detroit and would hate to see a National upheavel!

peter   April 15th, 2009 3:45 pm ET

has he lost any $$ in the stock mkt ?..like all the rest of us have? our retirement is gone...

Gary Chandler in Canada   April 15th, 2009 4:15 pm ET

I tried to present an off shoot series to the Apprentice, but could not get through the Trump Contact filters.
It would be called "Summer Job".
Top students compete for summer jobs. They ALL get hired, so each episode would end with "You're hired!!!"
The competition is for the last job, Mr Trump's personal assistant for the summer.
Even the first ones out of the competition, though, would get 'reasonable' jobs; like caddies and the such.
Maybe they could have a choice of being Larry King's summer assistant!?

janette tx   April 15th, 2009 4:38 pm ET

Need some money for a hair cut???

Gay   April 15th, 2009 5:47 pm ET

Mr. Trump, I enjoy your show and I especially enjoy the 2 hour format.

However, I think you should prohibit your apprentices from contacting their friends for money, or contributions.

When they are given a task, they just call their friends for contributions and then the entire process becomes a competition in....."My" friends are richer than "your" friends. Boring !

If the apprentices were not allowed to use their "friends" or "co-Workers" for contriubutions or donations, then the tasks will be a competion in skill and ability, NOT a matter of WHO YOU KNOW !

John   April 15th, 2009 6:05 pm ET

How much did you pay in taxes this year. Did you get a bonous too?

Carlos VA   April 15th, 2009 6:38 pm ET

Hi Larry, my question for Mr. Trump is for starters I have followed your rise to financial success and at times your pitfalls (thanks to the media) and your successes are certainly to be admired. I imagine that there are individuals who hang onto your every utterance. Tell me with the global economy in it’s worst shape since even you can remember, what direct effect has that had on your rise to riches? Secondly, if you haven’t felt the brunt of hard economic times, then what have you done to help your fellowman who isn’t protected under the umbrella of vast wealth? And lastly, is there a small employment opportunity that’s available with Trump Inc. that does require the skills of a intelligent and honest employee but doesn’t require jumping thru a bunch of hoops?

marsha   April 15th, 2009 6:39 pm ET

this is a idea regarding the trouble with pirates

please contact johnny depp he might be able to help you
he seems to be able to get out of any pirate situation

i know this is serious but i thought you might get a chuckle in these
serious times

ron levine   April 15th, 2009 6:56 pm ET

Donald,
As someone who understands the word"leverage" as it applies in real estate: Could you explain to me how I should use leverage in this deal i'm trying to put together.

Avery   April 15th, 2009 7:11 pm ET

I'm curious to ask Donald Trump, is their an amount of money that is enough? And if he retired tomorrow what would he do with his time?

Dodie - Irvine California   April 15th, 2009 7:34 pm ET

What areas (gold, silver, stocks, etc) does Donald Trump project will become lucrative in the near future for someone who only has $5,000 extra to invest?

Dodie - Irvine California   April 15th, 2009 7:37 pm ET

@ Peter

I agree with you. When I receive my 475K statement, which is like a 401K but NO employer contribution ... I do NOT open it up anymore, I just burn it so I do not get too depressed!!

frankie   April 15th, 2009 7:47 pm ET

Am searching Trump University for my grandson who is grad. w/a business/marketing degree...maybe he will apply or apply to Wharton Schl of Business in PA..he has applied to the White House for an internship..but they seem to hire young people from Yale Harvard & Princeton....ny comments Mr. Trump ? he's 6'6",,tall handsome & smart...with Italian/German genes !...

Alice Hill   April 15th, 2009 7:53 pm ET

Thanks to the "TEA PARTY PEOPLE" they are helping the economy by buying tea bags and tea drinks, way to go!

D J   April 15th, 2009 9:01 pm ET

Where were all these right-wing protesters that past 8 years?!?!?!?!?

Dodie from Irvine, CA   April 15th, 2009 9:04 pm ET

Yes, the banks will ultimately cause a depression by not lending money

Dodie from Irvine, CA   April 15th, 2009 9:08 pm ET

Larry and Donald. A Canadian stated President Obama is trying to steer a ship (America) which has run aground with no fuel

((((( WHY CAN'T WE FEDERALIZE "ONE" BANK)))))

Janet   April 15th, 2009 9:09 pm ET

Donald, what are your thoughts on the Gov. of Texas endorsing a state resolution affirming Texas sovereignty under the 10th Amendment?

louise b   April 15th, 2009 9:10 pm ET

not that he needs any more confidence, a reluctant compliment to a guy i never thought i would like so much...you have great kids. says a great deal about the great deal-maker.

Janet   April 15th, 2009 9:13 pm ET

Donald, I lost my job as an administrative assistant at a residential real estate company in December. I live in Houston. I have a bachelors degree and I am in college right now earning my MBA. I have residential real estate experience. I can't seem to find a job. What advice can you give me? What direction should I go?

sh   April 15th, 2009 9:15 pm ET

I liked Mr. Tump's assessment of President Obams and he is absolutly right when he said that good is not good enough, President Obama has to be great. It's a shame it has to be like this but more time than often, when a minorities are in a leadsership position, 100% is not enough, he/she has to give 101%.

Shaunak Tanna   April 15th, 2009 9:17 pm ET

If Donald is such a Champion and has made so much money why are his casinos and the hotel project in Chicago either close to bankruptcy or already bankrupt?

Dodie from Irvine, CA   April 15th, 2009 9:17 pm ET

((((( WHY CAN’T WE FEDERALIZE “ONE” BANK)))))

Good for you Donald. Exactly how I feel.

al   April 15th, 2009 9:19 pm ET

Sharp Shooter   April 15th, 2009 9:20 pm ET

I agree 150 % with Donald ( take care of business).

Michael Castro   April 15th, 2009 9:21 pm ET

Can Donald give a "guesstimate" as to when will the economy recover to Clinton era levels?

Caroline, California   April 15th, 2009 9:22 pm ET

I'm glad to hear Donald express his liking for President Obama, I agree with him that he is doing a good job especially what the state of country was in when he took over office.

Dodie from Irvine, CA   April 15th, 2009 9:24 pm ET

I had the lowest taxes paid in 10 years. It was GREAT! So those at the tea party must be making one million or more

David   April 15th, 2009 9:24 pm ET

What must be done to make the Port Authority build new twin towers over the freedom tower?

Mike Spencer   April 15th, 2009 9:24 pm ET

I agree with Donald 100%. I've been saying all along that they should arm the people on the boats. This would definately solve the issue.

Dave, Chicago   April 15th, 2009 9:27 pm ET

What does Mr. Trump think abou the Chicago 2016 Summer Olympic bid? Good Economics? Also, how is your new tower in Chicago doing?

noel   April 15th, 2009 9:27 pm ET

Do you give any of your employees dicounts on any of your properties you have for sale?

Nick   April 15th, 2009 9:27 pm ET

Hi Donald,
Recently you FIRED one Apprentice participant for drinking and driving saying you can not tolerate such behavior, and at the same time you stood tall to Miss Universe giving her a second chance after she publicly apologized for drinking. Hey Donald when did you say the truth. Nick

There are a thousand and one things you get for your tax dollars. It's all spent on you. Even the bridge to nowhere provided jobs for hundreds of people, boughts shoes, cars and put bread on many tables. You get more for you tax dollar than anything else. We live in an interdependent world. Go to the internetfrepress and find out a few things you didn't know. Larry, I wish you and Donald
would go to the internetfreepress and talk about some of my ideas.

Dodie from Irvine, CA   April 15th, 2009 9:29 pm ET

Some say this is the end of North American Dominance of the Global Economy, what do you think about this and the rise of emerging economies mainly the BRIC?

glenn waldo   April 15th, 2009 9:39 pm ET

donald...you just stated you want to get on with your life but the apprentice keeps asking you back...do they pay you...?...how much?

matt boyd   April 15th, 2009 9:40 pm ET

I is my hope that Larry King, I watch all the time, will have a real world opinion about Real Estate with regard to banking and finance. Donald Trump just stated that without Seller financing, Real Estate is a no go. This could not be further from the truth. As a Realtor for 23 years in Los Angeles, I have seen every market turn. Although this is like not other, I have just recently closed an FHA loan for first time Buyers, a short sale at one million dollars and a standard sale with twenty-five percent down and excellent credit. None of these properties had Seller financing. There is money available for those qualified Buyers.
Thank you

nancy colbert   April 15th, 2009 9:41 pm ET

Loved hearing Donald's Trumps opinions on the economy,
world events, etc. Thought he was very good, then he ended
the segment by calling someone names. Come on Donald
real men get over it. By the way Rosie has only had
one marriage. How many have you 'failed" at.

matt boyd   April 15th, 2009 9:44 pm ET

To the person who asked about Anderson Copper, grow up!

Earl a Las Vegas Realtor   April 15th, 2009 9:44 pm ET

tell Candy Spelling I'll buy her house at full price if she does a Seller Carry back at 0% interest..

Secrets   April 15th, 2009 9:45 pm ET

Gangs,

Donald Trump is very smart. I wish I knew his strategies years and years ago. These are the strategies they never taught us in school. Have you guys ever research "Business line of credit?"

Earl a Las Vegas Realtor   April 15th, 2009 9:49 pm ET

tell Candy Spelling I’ll buy her house at full price if she carries back $150M at 0% interest. Hey, I'm just taking Donald's advice.

Dave   April 15th, 2009 9:51 pm ET

I felt bad for Candee Spelling for having to give a tour to the irritating reporter. Yuk. Not funny. Very disrepectful.

A. Fisher   April 15th, 2009 9:56 pm ET

How can you ignore the tea parties around the nation? You are not reporting on what the American people want. In all my years I have never seen anything lilke this. We are losing our country and cnn is ignoring it. Not good. You should not ignore the good people of this great country.

Lady H.   April 15th, 2009 10:00 pm ET

a.fisher, cnn is ignoring them because they reflect badly on the obama administration and they will do everything they can to prevent that.

Jane   April 15th, 2009 10:00 pm ET

Yours and CNN and MSNBC bias is so obvious. Would you had covered left wing people if they gathered 15,000 in Atlanta? I think so. It is why yours rating are down? Come on Larry are you a family therapist with your guest tonight with Spelling. I had to stop flipping though because I could not believe it.

Lady H.   April 15th, 2009 10:03 pm ET

@jane, they went crazy over the million man march as I recall.

al   April 15th, 2009 10:03 pm ET

CNN stands for chicken noodle news. they have nothing good. Same old same old. Boring news. Ted Turners little puppets. And tell Nancy Grace to find sometihng else to talk about. Enough of Casey Anthony. The show should be renamed killers. all she does is talk about the same stories every single day. Good Night Friends give me a break. Nancy find some new news stop milking the same stories. Yes they are sad but 6 months later its the same! c'mon...

maria   April 15th, 2009 10:04 pm ET

donald trump... decent guy.

candy and tori... no thanks... do we have to waste our time with such shallow, superficial and totally out of touch with the real world guests on your show? how about having a show with poor people and inquire about how they live... deal with illness... deal with paying the bills each mother. who cares that candy and her mother are in a feud. WHO CARES??? it is so irrelevant on so many levels- it makes me sick that shows like cnn and the view use these stories to make ratings. it makes me sick how much money these people have, waste, spend... when there are people everywhere who can not afford to pay their bills, buy food, pay for medical care or go to school.

candy's plastic surgery bills alone- likely in the hundreds of thousands. who cares that she is the most famous mother and wife in hollywood.... when will people stop caring about these people and start caring about real issues AND put their money where it matters.

i find these people abhorrent. at least donald trump's daughter works hard for her family's business- unlike tori who just rides on her famous laurels...

makes me sick. justice would be their money and the likes of them pooled to pay off the national debt.

al   April 15th, 2009 10:06 pm ET

Spelling, all that money and your daughter still hates you. Ha Ha..im not rich and my kids love me. Its about being a parent their whole life. Money means nothing. It shows by the house you built that your kids were probably left with nannies all day and neglected. You could fill the spare rooms with larrys ex wifes.

donna   April 15th, 2009 10:10 pm ET

hope he can meet w/Pres Obama & help hm out, give hm sm ideas, etc,,,this country needs help !..

al   April 15th, 2009 10:12 pm ET

Donald trumps not so smart people! wake up. He went bankrupt twice. Got a start with his daddys money. Hes not self made. He probably makes more off the TV show than his real estate. Wait maybee he is smart? His son by the way has nothing smart to say on the show. His daughters pretty hot so ill give her a pass. Joan Rivers has the worst Plastic surgery i have ever seen. She looks like a mess. Her plastic surgeon should be fired. Melissa needs a night with Dennis Rodman. Go Jessie James! the only real person on the show...

Justin   April 15th, 2009 10:14 pm ET

Mr. Trump I am so glad The Apprentice will be renewed for two more seasons. I hope its The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice. I have a few suggestions for the next two seasons:

1. I am so glad the business lessons are back but can they be in every episode even if its 1 hour , two hours, or three hours. Its a show about business and many people asked the question about it. You had it in seasons 1-5 not in 6 on 7 on the website and this season you have it back.

2. The fundraising tasks can you please not have the celebrities have there rolodexes, celebrities contacts/friends, or fame to raise money for charity. Charity is all about giving and not how much you give. We want to see how they do under business skills.

3. Fire celebrites based on the task and show itself.

4. Half George and Carolyn as advisors.

5. Continue making it great and no product placement. Thanks

george   April 15th, 2009 10:18 pm ET

Geo HWBush & Geo W bush had a lot to do w/the Saudis & the bombing of Iraq ..etc...sad !! they are all very good friends..

Francis Tavares   April 15th, 2009 10:33 pm ET

Donald Trump is correct in all the things that he spoke about. One of the things he spoke of is to get the military top snipers and shoot those damn pirates each time they aproach one of the tankers. This is the twenty first century and not historic times. How is the President going to rescue the rest of the sailors that are being held? Those stupid pirates are attacking tankers in their tiny ridiculous boats. It is unacceptable!

CNN Fan   April 15th, 2009 11:35 pm ET

I caught The Donald on the show tonight. To my surprise, he was dead-on-balls-accurate about the topics they discussed. I agreed with everything he had to say! Well done, gentlemen! Thanks, CNN!

daxkelm   April 16th, 2009 12:05 am ET

Donald, cowboys better or worse without Terrell Owens?

daxkelm   April 16th, 2009 12:07 am ET

Donald Trump for President in 2012!!

Stan   April 16th, 2009 12:10 am ET

Hello Mr. Trump. What stocks are you currently investing in? What companies do you think will be big in the future?

katrina   April 16th, 2009 12:26 am ET

I just wanted to comment like Donald Trump, I am wondering, in respect to the somalian piracy, that we need to use our incredible sharp shooters. What are we waiting for. Get one on every boat and do it quickly without apology! I compare this situation to todays parenting: everyone is too afraid to tell their kid NO! Who's the parent? whose in charge? Time to tell the pirates NO! YOU CAN'T KEEP DOING THIS! We aren't going to let you. The new attack today is their way of saying "what are YOU going to do about it?" And as a "parent' in charge I say bring out the big guns and do it NOW!!!

lori   April 16th, 2009 12:31 am ET

I love the time for smart people! What about education..a 25 year Texas teacher...time to help kids getter smarter..not test takers! NCLB!!!

katrina   April 16th, 2009 12:31 am ET

Also, if other countries want help getting out of these tough situations in somalian waters, then they have got to be brave enough to join the coalition to end this piracy. They need to train shooters and they need to be willing to defend! We were left standing ALONE in Somalia and I don't recommend us doing THAT again.

Paul Laraque   April 16th, 2009 12:34 am ET

Donald,,
What opportunities do you see if the U.S. were to open fully open up trade with Cuba? Would you develop there??

Thanks!
Paul Laraque

toneth   April 16th, 2009 12:34 am ET

where did he get saudi's had anything to do with 9/11 haha , stick to real estate

lori   April 16th, 2009 12:42 am ET

forgot to mention i graduated from texas tech in 1982 and my mother was head cheerleader in 1949...we love the fact donald has helped to put tech on the map with their football program...it all started by one person, the football coach, reading one of his books...i'm going to read his latest....

Karen Anderson   April 16th, 2009 12:47 am ET

I listened to Donald Trump speak on tonight's Larry King Live show. I share Mr. Trump's view regarding piracy and also his views about the rediculous amount of money that has been spent in Iraq! I am not a military person, however, I will say that "I" could come up with a plan (real quick) to end piracy, and it was similar to Mr. Trump's proposed solution. Mr. Trump stated that all it would take is one sharp-shooter on board each ship to put an immediate end to this. If the pirates' "tug boats" approach a ship waving their guns and shooting...bam! That's it...good-bye tug boat and the one-eyed, masked, gun-weilding idiots. This is so in sane and is not worthy of discussion because of the infantile manner with which it is "not" being handled properly.

Chuck   April 16th, 2009 12:50 am ET

Great show tonight Larry. I guess it's true, the rich DO keep getting richer. You spotlight Trump and Spelling. This country is in a deep recession and at war with several nations and your biggest concern is what the Spellings are gonna do with their 150,000,000 mansion?
Birds of a feather I guess. I will NOT be tuning in any time soon.

terryd   April 16th, 2009 12:54 am ET

candy, is that her name for real? need to realize that she put herself before her child and is not a gramma.

Andrea   April 16th, 2009 1:04 am ET

I watch your show regularly. I enjoyed watching and listening to Donald Trump tonight; he's a smart individual and I enjoy what he has to say. Perhaps next time instead of showing Candy Spelling's $150 million mansion you can discuss the ever increasing jobless/homeless situation in the U.S. and in Canada and have as your guest an individual who is living in their car or in tent city.
I'm not interested in how people live in their $150 million mansions, I'm interested in the lives of thousands of people who are seriously affected by this economic time and what we can do to help resolve this situation.
Thank you for listening.

John from Atlanta   April 16th, 2009 1:15 am ET

Sounds like Tori has a great life considering growing up under a mom that says "I love you, but you killed your dad, you don't like Chelsea Handler and you never answered our daily calls." Really? Who calls their kids every day? Tori, for your own mental health, stay far away from Candy.

Russell   April 16th, 2009 3:05 am ET

When will Donald Trump retire? He has been succesfulll.

Paul Crawley   April 16th, 2009 4:04 am ET

#1 question to ask the big D
How much is a loaf of bread? if he fails he has no right to talk about taxes on the regular people.

More over, interviewing the rich, NOT a way to go do you guys not realise why we love Obama? It's because he's been poor, Washington can't handle it because he keeps doing things that will help the average person? the silver spoon brigade want there taxes protected and lessened hence the only thing they have left the tea bag pretend revolution? I love CNN & MSNBC and the whole FOX people you all would be great. Your news coverage is exactly like a five year old could understand, and does it well. News is News, and NOT POLITICAL REASONS TO SHOUT OUT!. More people are killed in this country because of mistakes or misunderstandings via guns, and i believe in guns but put a gun in a dumb ass and you got a bomber. DO NOT allow enticement of these people

Terry, TX   April 16th, 2009 6:25 am ET

Donald Trump....please.....and the Spellings...people don't care with these celebretards.

Lisa Box   April 16th, 2009 8:19 am ET

I just happened to catch the Donald and can't help my lips start to extend out forming an ouh wondering where he got that habit of using his mouth like he is pronouncing a different sound...I like the Donald and admire his drive to excel as well as an apparent desire to bbe a level headed not politically corrupt man who stands for what many lack these days. He shoots straight like he sees it and doesn't beat around the proverbial bush.
People that have more $ than they can ever feasibly spend makes no sense and puts the world so out of balance that it is beyond being able to ignore that once a person is up in the billions, that it is a sign that it should be used properly where the world needs help and there is a point of greed being determined as destructive to our planet. What else are we going to do? I think when a person reaches some point in the billions, there should be a strct law forcing any amount over 5 billion or so to have the choice to pool it towards productive channels that we vote on, not the government, omg, no!. No one can spend tens of billions of dollars no matter how hard they tried, why woud they? There is no rationalizing why they need an excess to sit in an account building unspendable interest eventually going to greedy or soon to be greedy relatives who don't know how to handle that much. The billionairs could have their ego satisfied if they choose to make some grand entry going down in history of how much they made, and how great a person they are now that they were forced to help others, What a concept. Incentive programs should be established in so many aspects so people have options made easily available for distributing funds and get immediate reward even if superficial but worthy of being given a level of citizen royalty. Sir Larry King or Donald the Duke of New York.. Some celebrities would eat up the chance to earn a prestigeous title for life! by reaching an amount they are allowed to keep to themselves. It is senseless and so selfish it is sick that someone just continues to horde more than is many peoples lifetimes of wealth. They are so fortunate to have an over over abundance they can't possibly need more while sitting by watching their country fall into deep despair for hundreds of thousands. I am one who suffers 24/7 and only need a bit to help me help the economy. but no. It is too hard to be one in 200 new business owners that will get funded to offer jobs throughout the country. no, it is almost too much to expect when actually it is not that difficult to figure some basic things out. like shoot the efing pirates, and REALLY fund new businesses NOW AS IN RIGHT NOW to PROVIDE jobs while overwhelming amount are dropping off like flies. FUND FUND FUND NEW BUSINESSes THAT WILL FILL THOSE LOST or any other ideas??? I have a primed business just sitting waiting to give hundreds of people jobs but need funding to continue . 2814137189

VANCE M ALQUIST   April 16th, 2009 10:35 am ET

The PRESIDENT and CONGRESS are taking away over 150,000,000.00 PER MONTH from our MILITARY RETIREE'S just to pay ALIMONY to the exspouses that ( REMARRIED ). Just think ,pretty soon the CONGRESS will start having everyone pay more taxes. When is PRESIDENT OBAMA and CONGRESS going to understand that this is just wrong.

Ted from Germany   April 16th, 2009 10:59 am ET

They say, only the first million is hard to make...
If I remember correctly, Mr. Trump received from his Daddy a million dollars to go into the real estate business, paving his way for success. You cannot deny it, he is very successful, however how many laws did he break on his way, how many other, less skillful and agressive person were ruined. Such a success story usually is paved with fallen bodies.
On the other hand, I would have liked him to be the President during the past eight years, our country would be in a much better shape.

Why is CNN so negative on the Tea Party Nation? I will never watch CNN again after hearing the reporter on CNN last night regarding the Tea Party Nation. Why doesn't CNN report the news as the truth? We THE PEOPLE need to take back our country. GOVERNMENT IS OUT OF CONTROLL ON SPENDING. It is time we stop it. Go to Teapartynation.com and rea. This is a time we can stand up and be heard. STOP SPENDING AND GIVING AWAY OUT TAX MONEY.

Zing! I see why Tori is estranged from her mother. She blames her daughter for her elderly father's death? That's not cool...

Avery   April 16th, 2009 3:21 pm ET

P.S- Thought Dave's comment was funny. Chelsea Handler is not a reporter, she's a comedian with her own show on E!

Just want to know WHY . mr Trump has such a scowl on his face all the time , with his money he should be smiling a lot , but he's the man ... clever fellow I must say ...

ed,vancouver canada   April 17th, 2009 6:26 am ET

yah right.
have someone like facebook's zuckerberg on your show instead.
trumps casinos etc.are in the ditch with other peoples money .
if banks lend enough like that ,no wonder they do not have any to lend.
as far as Spelling is concerned, larry loves them, they are related.
when enough americans that are hungry get sick and tired of seeing
the silver spoon sector bragging about the money they have stole, they will become pirates of the streets.
enough is enough.
the average person has a right to a decent standard of living first, and then we do not care if the Spellings have a gold toilet or not.
this is how revolutions, riots ,pirates, wars, crime and murder are created.
a prime example is what happened with the nazi movement in germany.enough starving people and they can be inducted.
the few controlling rich created an avenue for a monster to be created.
it is time for attention to be paid to the average, then we don't care about your billions.
fix the economy or pay the price.

After watching Candy Spelling on Larry King live tonight, I was struck by how incredibly sad it is that her family is so broken. I would hope that regardless of hurt feeling or harsh words, that they somehow can reach out to one another in forgiveness. I would hope that both Candy and Tori would carefully watch their interviews(Candy on LK Live and Tori on The View) and realize how angry and passive aggressive their language is....they are both hurt and still grieving, but at times of loss in a family, placing blame and guilt about things that cannot be taken back or changed, is not going to help with reconciliation. Thats self indulgent emotional "pain" speaking(understandable, but it has to be put aside for the sake of the higher good!) I would plead with Candy and Tori to just realize that its their own grief, anger and hurt that is coming out in a way thats negative and counterproductive, but that they can both make a conscious decision to stop doing that and to simply reach out to each other in LOVE and forgiveness and understanding. If they could just bring themselves to sincerely say "I am sorry", "Please forgive me"....miracles can happen in even the most broken of relationships! Mother and daughter do not need to rehash old pain and hurtful words said in hasty moments of fogged judgement. Just take ownership of the fact that you are only human and humans make mistakes and say things they should not say, etc..and realize that you can get past anything together and thats much more important then figuring out who was right and who was wrong, when, where, details, etc...just let all of that "stuff" go..plain and simple...no need to explain every incident... and chalk it up to pain and human nature and the fact that we ALL make mistakes. Once things get so complicated, it becomes impossible to unravel, so just throw out that old hurt and start fresh with whats REAL..and thats Family... Mother, Daughter, Son, Grandkids...thats what is precious and irreplaceable...life is short...forgive, let go, forget, and get on with LOVING! God Bless the Spelling family.

how would this person with no name worked for the spelling's in the eighty's? i felt bad when mr. spelling died. she shouldn't say that candy spelling lied. i wish that toring spelling would get together with hjer mom, and just patch things up what ever the problems are.

Lisa   April 20th, 2009 3:19 am ET

Candy Spelling's mansion disgusts me. I have never seen a more narcissistic display of needless excess in my life!! People in America are losing their jobs, struggling to pay bills, starving and homeless and Candy Spelling has a 17,000 square foot storage area!! It makes me sick! It's bad enough that she is living there, but parading it around on television is in very poor taste, especially during this recession!

VANCE M ALQUIST   April 20th, 2009 10:52 am ET

The CONGRESS is taking some $150,000,000.00 or more from our MILITARY RETIREE'S each and every month because of " USFSPA ".I just wonder how the RICH MR. TRUMP would feel losing that kind of money. We are still wondering how many more SUICIDES in the MILITARY will it take for the PRESIDENT and CONGRESS to do some good and stop this bad law.

VALQUIST   April 20th, 2009 10:56 am ET

OUR MILITARY RETIREES ARE LOSING $ 150,000,000.00 .We have SUICIDES and a big risk to the NATIONAL SECURITY of our country and nobody is listening.

Gina   April 20th, 2009 1:18 pm ET

Larry,

I watched the Miss USA pageant last night. I haven't watched this show in years. I am concerned that a judge would ask a contestant a question and then demean her for her answer after the show. Ask Mr. Trump why this prejudice was allowed in the first place?

Gina   April 20th, 2009 1:32 pm ET

Larry,

I just wanted to add that it was very clear that the judge asking the question was not happy with the contestant's answer right away in the Miss USA pageant. This judge put no thought what so ever that somebody else could have a differing view point than his own agenda. It is my opinion this judge should apologize to the contestant's on the Miss USA pageant and especially Miss California and not be invited back. Also, Mr. Trump did you review the questions prior to them being asked?

Gina   April 20th, 2009 3:05 pm ET

Mr. Trump and Mr. King;

In regards to the judge on the Miss USA pagaent who demeaned Miss California for her answer; may I please be allowed to say "you're fired" as a TV viewer of both the Miss USA pagent and Celebrity Apprentice last night. Thank you

You posted my comment and then removed it. Don't you want to have the truth on this blog? I don't get it. Your like crawling under a rock.
I thought is a blog to hear opinions and get real life experiences.
Shame on you for removing my opinion as others have voiced there own. How scared are you to know the real facts? It just shows me that you really don't want the real facts as I know them. Your lost. But it will be my gain eventually.

No name   April 21st, 2009 11:09 pm ET

I share Lisa's comment. But one who has worked for the Spellings
has a lot more insight into this. Stop parading Candy Spelling around to promote her book, and trying to sell her property that her own daddy built and giving deceiving interviews, I promote Tori for not wanting to subject her children to her monsterous mother.
Nobody knows the real truth, I do, I do. and get Candy off the air with her lies and poor marketing stradergy to sell her mansion that Mr. Spelling never wanted in the first place. It's sickening. Thank god Tori has her dad's creative DNA . Candy Spelling is an imposter living off her husbands legacy.
And don';t remove this post. It's ablog and everyone is allowed to their opinion. I register my self as no name because I don't want to deal with the hassell. I t was in 1987 that I worked in th home of the Spellings. I totally adored Mr.Spelling, and have many good memories working with him at his home.
The home that he was happy living in.The mansion that was forced on him....just to keep Candy happy. If you're doing your job you will look into this nebutisum that came about.
Power to Tori for she ahs every reason to disimbark and she had nothing to do with Mr. Speelings death. She loved her father and he adored her. Jealous Candy had something to do with his death. NOT Tori
