ICYMI: WH Chief Rahm Emanuel on LKL last night!

Posted: 07:50 AM ET

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel dismissed questions about whether President Obama is being overexposed with his recent media blitz, saying Tuesday that the American people want to hear what Obama is doing about a struggling economy.

Speaking to LKL moments after Obama finished a prime time news conference, Emanuel said people are talking about issues like jobs, education and health care, and want to know where their president stands.

"You can say maybe there's overexposure," Emanuel said. "I think if you watch and see, there have been greater audiences for the shows he has been on to answer these questions, because these are the questions the American people are asking around their kitchen tables."

In the past week, Obama has appeared on CBS' "60 Minutes" and NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," the first appearance by a sitting president on a late-night talk show. He fielded questions for an hour at Tuesday's news conference and also appeared last week on ESPN filling out his bracket for the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Some analysts say the president risks diluting his message in the public's mind by being visible so frequently. Some Republicans and other critics have accused Obama of maintaining a campaign mentality when he needs to be governing.

"Overexposure"-Was FDR overexposed in his "fireside" chats? Is actual leadership instead of hiding out at Camp David as Bush did considered "overexposure?" CNN's reporter Mr. Henry got a "Gotcha" and will undoubtably be in line for a Pulitzer for his obvious remarks about AIG! Well, here's some real news-The Country is in some really deep "Doo-DOO" as the younger generation puts it and the Partisan Bickering and serious attempts to outspend and outcorrupt one another that is so prevalent in Washington that it isn't even considered news anymore is the reason and I haven't seen one news report condemning the practice. Then we have the fact that every agency that has been "Bailed Out" with taxpayer money are large contributors to both Parties Political Campaigns and all to quote "Gingrich" are monopolies that have been permitted to exceed any Anti-Trust Laws because of their political connections-Why isn't this fact reported by the Media? This is my personal "Gotcha"on the media that loves "Gotcha's and sensationalism to any basic investigative reporting!

No matter what decision President Obama gives, one thing is sure to follow CRITICISM! President Obama could have been born an absolutely Perfect Person created by the God of the Universe and someone would still find fault with him for some reason! I think the American People should start encouraging the President instead of criticizing him. He is a GREAT PRESIDENT!

WILL AMERICA HAVE TO GO BROKE AND SURRENDER TO CHINA WITHOUT FIRING A SHOT BEFORE REPUBLICANS AND THE NEWS MEDIA REALIZE THAT IT IS GOODS AND SERVICES THAT HAVE REAL VALUE AND READ ARTICLE 1, SECTION 8, OF THE CONSTITUTION? Jim Carroll internetfreepress.com

During the campaign, the news broke concerning the huge amount of money being made by Iraq from their oil reserves. Obama said HE would tap into those funds to pay back the United States for all the money we have spent getting them free from Saddam and rebuilding their infrastructure. How is that plan going?????? WE sure can use a bit of pay back.

President Obama is not over exposed. How ever Bush should have been, he did his dirt in the dark, Where was the media then. If Obama's over exposed, its the mediia's fault, they are watching his every move, hopeful of a gaffe or scandal. I

Rahm Emmanuel.....phones calls with Blagovich and a 2wk vacation to Africa so he wouldn't have to talk about....strategy morning calls with Caville, Belago and Stephanapolous...then covertly his agents placed with CNN...possibly involved also in the authorization of AIG bonuses with Dodd and Geithner. This thug needs to be watched.

Is Obama seeing the light?

In President Obamas press conference Tuesday he likened his bloated budget to an Ocean Liner difficult to maneuver! So why doesnt the president and congress trim the budget and make it more manageable and those who are spending more accountable?

Rahm Emanuel looks like an evil person. I've heard he uses revenge tactics on people he dislikes, like sending a dead fish. We don't need anyone in this administration like him.
