GOOD DAY,

THIS IS JUST MY UNIVERSAL COMMENTS AND ADVISE TO THE WHOLE AMERICANS AND THE WORLD IN GENERAL REGARDING THE FIRST AFRICA AMERICA PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, MR BARRACK H. OBAMA.

I WILL APPEAL TO EVERY EXECUTIVE,JUDICIARY AND LEGISLATURE DEPARTMENTS OF AMERICA GOVERNMENT TO WORK TOGETHER IN FAITH WITH THIS GOD CHOOSING CANDIDATE IN OTHER TO ENABLE HIM TO EQUILIBRIUM THE ECONOMY OF AMERICA.

THE AMERICANS SHOULD REMEMBER THAT HE HAS ALREADY PROMISED THE AMERICANS THAT VOTED HIM AS AN HISTORICAN FIRST AFRICA AMERICA PRESIDENT AND THE ONLY WAY FOR HIM TO DELIVER IS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE DEMAND OF AMERICA ECONOMY MEET THE SUPPLY IN OTHER FOR HIS DIVINED GOVERNMENT TO GET THE EQUILIBRIUM PRICE THAT WILL LEADS TO SUPPLUS BUDGET FOR THE WHOLE AMERICANS IN OTHER TO EASE THE GLOBAL ECONOMY.

mr.king
I would like to appear on your show, as many of your viewers do not know that the canadian government does not fulfill the obligations handed down from the queen of england. We as indigenous peoples of this land of canada are struggling to maintain a normal life style like many canadians. The government of canada maintains that we are rich in resources and goods and services , but fails our people to a great extent. Mr king I kindly request the honour to be part of your show and expect a response in a timely manner.
should you require additional information , I will provide at your convenience.

Sincerely,

Rod traverse

I landed a Cessna 150 on Rte 220 not far from Bradford,PA due to unforcast icing conditions .I didn't get a scratch on me or the aircraft after dodging trees and wires 10:30 at night with no moon !! The police let me take off the next day. This happened in the late 60's and the aircraft was rented from Greenwood flying service at DCA where I worked for Lake Central and Northwest Airlines. Pilot's are All trained to make power off landings before solo.

BOYCOTT THE OCTUPLETS!
Pro-Life, Pro-Choice and a woman’s right to do with her body as she deems fit are extremely serious and personal topics that no one should challenge. However, this situation is Pro-Chaos and destructive behavior.
In a different generation when children were needed to help on family farms and run the family business, this might be tolerable.
It is completely unsettling that in this time of terrible economic crisis with single people and families suffering alike, that a women who already has six children, can make money through exploiting her children on a television show. Children of the underprivileged should be cared for, but being rewarded and financially supported by media outlets for irresponsibly having more children than you can afford is outrageous. How can we sit back and watch while parents with a reasonable brood lose their jobs and homes while we glorify a person who is looking for a handout? Has anyone considered what women go through that can not create a single child, but could afford to raise children well if they could? How dare she make money off of this! My own family is in crisis mode. As a family of three, with a new baby due in June, we are living on $500 a week due to unexpected cutbacks and layoffs. My children will face the harsh reality of our economic situation even though their father is gone all day at work, and their mother is gone all night at school so we can one day have a better life. Perhaps we should just have 6 more, hire someone for P.R., and get sponsored by the media and Pampers.

L. Richards   February 3rd, 2009 2:48 pm ET

What a joke watching that panel on your show (2/2/09) regarding the octuplets. All the panelists walking on eggshells, trying to be so PC, stating "I hope the best for them" and no one having the guts to say the TRUTH! Well, here is the truth: SHAME ON HER. Knowingly bringing those children into this world without: 1) a father, 2) means to support them 3) knowing the medical risks and 4) already having too many kids for one person to raise. Shame on the doctor. Larry, you are a father,so I would hope you would stress the importance of children having a father. WHY didn't you ask the tough questions on ethics and what is right for these children? You did not address the fact that her mother is done with helping her daughter out, as she told the media. She does not agree with what her daughter is doing and does not want to support her anymore. This women thinks part of living in a free country means freedom to do irresponsible and immoral things like this. I wish you would have someone on your show who has the guts to speak the truth. I am sick of all the wimpy interviews you are doing. God forbid we should insult anyone. Well, guess what? I am not afraid to speak my mind. As a resident of California, I know that we taxpayers are all going to be paying to support and raise these children. Just wait and see.

Dan B   February 3rd, 2009 3:08 pm ET

I believe Blagojevich didn't have a chance. They had already made their minds up before they heard the first tape. The media and its judgment to convict was a big part of it. If he could have been given the chance to present witnesses it could have been differant.

Chester   February 3rd, 2009 3:54 pm ET

I think the Jolie-Pitts should adopt them, after all, they can probably afford it and there's at least a 'mother & father' in the picture.

Ivan   February 3rd, 2009 4:05 pm ET

Please ask ex Gov. Blagojevich to explain why he was ousted for wanting an appointment, yet Judd Gregg and Gov. Lynch make deals left and right on what type will be appointed. Did Lynch not agree to Greggs desires? Where is Eliot Ness on this smoking gun?

Barbara Izadi   February 3rd, 2009 4:16 pm ET

First of all Mr. King; I just want to say that I consider your show the best of the best. CNN is lucky to have you.
As far as this story; there is more to it than we know. In time the truth will eventually come out. When I heard this news for the first time the first thing that came to mind was John & Kate plus 8 you've been usurped. A woman usually has children with thoughts of pink or blue booties, a motherly love that grows as the pregnancy advances and a very important supportive other half that will share in the joy of birth. Not so in this situation. These babies had money signs over their heads before they were ever made by a scrupulous woman with doctors with the same mindset. I don't see a positive outlook for these children even if this woman makes money off these babies. These innocent babies weren't made from love but made for money. Reminds me of when women used to have as many children they could so they could receive more welfare money. This is no different except the money signs are much bigger.

Kathi Brewer   February 3rd, 2009 4:19 pm ET

I am from Illinois and I think our former Governor should start admitting he did wrong instead of going all around the country BOO HOOING! I know inoccent until proven guilty. But he has GUILT written all over his face. Thank-You,Kathi from Illinois

Re: Octuplets – I don't agree with any adult trying to profit from their children in an exploitative manner. Before we quickly point fingers at the mother of the octuplets, let's also consider the literally millions of unmarried women in America who chose to have children without the means to support them. This has resulted in tens of millions of fatherless kids being raised in severely distressed circumstances. This does not speak well of both men and women in such situations.

While marriage does not guarantee both parents will be around for the child as divorces and death do occur, the initial intent of commitment was made. Single mothers on welfare, living in assisted housing in poverty and crime ridden neighborhoods across the US have reached huge proportions. Statistics show that their daughters are also at great risk of getting pregnant young and creating yet another generation of children in need. Their sons are also at risk of becoming fathers very young and unable to provide for their children due to lack of preparedness.

We have far more serious issues concerning America's children – who can take care of them, who is being responsible, who is endangering them, are fathers involved etc. Discussions about the octuplets are a microcosm of a much more serious problem plaguing America today.

Women need to be more responsible with their lovers, and men need to be more responsible with their seed. It's always the kids who suffer. We need more education and resources to address this major issue as it affects society deeply.

REBECCA   February 3rd, 2009 5:04 pm ET

Some people can't handle the Truth! .."Two breasts" vs. "eight" is what separates us from the lower animal. ..Too graphic for you Lela?....too bad! ..You need to get a clue too! The corruption in our country is rampant,.... many of us are going to react to startling news
at present. ..(Same with little Caylee's murder, etc. etc.)

Beth Wilson   February 3rd, 2009 5:23 pm ET

If your intent was to belittle the woman who gave birth to 8, and that is exactly how I feel about your comments last night, you need to mind your own business! Your choice of words were meant to demean her. Why on earth would she be "the most hated woman"? Hate those women who kill their children. Leave that woman alone! Your opinion as to whether her decision to have more children is absolutely none of your business. And moreover, since she has so many children to care for, there is without a doubt no reason why she should not try earn funds to care for them – selling her story is not a sin. The sin would be if she did nothing to support them. That would then be a story for you to report!

We can’t afford to buy out pharmaceutical corporate crooks. We can’t afford to buyout the corporate hospital system, and have a health system to cure and save people of America. People would pay one tenth of the present crooked insurance price rates. You can afford to give bailouts to the corporate giants of America and overseas rich, as the politicians say. But give to the poor, Hell no!! The rich corporations need it more. American Freedom? What a joke America, wake up!!
We already had eight years of outright lying crooks, the worst in history.
LET’S BE A PROUD AMERICA AGAIN!
Take care of our people first.

Rose   February 3rd, 2009 6:00 pm ET

When hard working tax payers' money is being used to support people who "chose" to have children they know they cannot support – then it becomes tax payers' business. A person's fertility is their business UNTIL they make the decision to live off public funds. In many cases, they continue to have more children and apply for more funds.

There are women with enough DISCIPLINE to delay pregnancy to finish school, work and save for a better life. Plan their families according to their circumstance and do their best to raise their children – without government subsidies. They are not looking for handouts, they are responsible. I pick responsibility over free (and abused) choice to have children.

The Borgen Project has some good info on the cost of addressing global poverty.

$30 billion: Annual shortfall to end world hunger.
$550 billion: U.S. Defense budget

Ben   February 3rd, 2009 7:35 pm ET

Regarding Blagojevich: Suggest asking him about the realities of Illinois politics and government and why he's no different from other elected officials in the state.
– How much was spent on his first campaign for Governor?
– How much on his second campaign?
– What were some of the largest contributions and who were they from?
– How much is remaining in his campaign fund and does he have access to these funds for personal use or legal defense?

Barbara   February 3rd, 2009 7:39 pm ET

I thought about the comments on the show last night alot. I angry at the guest who herself had a lot of children, but she wanted to call this mother who had eigh kids an outrage. What is wrong with her accepting money for her story? Everybody else is getting paid to tell a worthless story that we don't want to hear. The mother on the show has TV show and a book....excuse me, but isn't she selling her story and making money off her children???

Let's be fair, if Gid did not mean for her to have these children, he would have let life take it's course and naturally abort. Who are we to decide who gets to live.

Barbara   February 3rd, 2009 7:43 pm ET

What about the women who has just given birth to her 18th child??? She has been celebrated on TV. When should it start being an outrage for her to stop having children???

I think these viewers have "selective" outrage..if you know what I mean. This women also has a Master's degree, so she is preparing for her life and not a dummy!

Ralph Roberts   February 3rd, 2009 7:56 pm ET

With the Chrysler payoff to all their US hourly employees of $20,000 and a voucher for a $25,000 GM vehicle for the all the employees in the US to take early retirement, how will the government ever recover the bail-out loan that Chrysler got from us just last December? I understood we were supposed to be protected in this transaction?

Barbara   February 3rd, 2009 8:05 pm ET

I am so upset about the way and reason the octuplets were generated.
Her parents stated that their daughter has always been obsessive with children.

I personally love children, but there is no way I would subject myself nor my children to the emotional abusive that will occur in this single parent home with fourteen children all under the age of seven. It breaks my heart to know that these children will not be able get their fair share of (Me & Mommy Time).

Although, she will have help thanks to the media. If the media wasn't making a big deal about this story. What would she do? Sell the children. I guess I am so bother by this news, because I work with homeless families that may have been laid off or due to domestic violence. Most did not having parental guidance on how to be a responsible adult. These are the people we should be focusing are time and energy on. In order to make this world a better place for all people we need to get our priorities in order.

That's all we need is to have other people thinking they could also have eight babies at once and they would be taken care of by sponsors.

Abortion.. In Vitro Fertilization.. All unnatural.. Who on earth wants to play God with the lives of others (Innocent..) I’m sorry Mr. King.. What was it that you wanted to talk about..? Am I off subject? I guess that you must have wanted to talk about something interesting, perplexing, newsworthy.

Larry W. Davis Sr.   February 3rd, 2009 8:42 pm ET

Larry, Man I tell you, I can't believe what's going on with this Bailout money. 18million/billion in bonuses, 50million for a jet, 1million to redecorate an office, with 85,000 going for a rug? There are no words to describe what's going on. Millions for a park, and who knows what else these numbnuts are getting away with. We the American taxpaying public is really being taken to the cleaners by the same people who got us in the situation in the beginning, and they are doing it, because nothing is happening to them. I'm sure the President has a recourse to what's going on in his arsenal, and if he doesn't he needs to create one, because by the time the bridge here in Cleveland Ohio collapses, it's going to be to late to determine how long it will be to get it fixed. I'm sure the president being a graduate of Harvard Law, his wife also a graduate, can sit down with the constituion and come up with something to impose severe punishment on all those IDIOTS, who passed out bonus money, the IDIOTS who recieved bonus money, and impress others who are thinking about lining their pockets, that there are other things we can be doing, rather than going to jail or something, if G.W.H.Bush can figure out he can do what he wants, without anyone standing in his way, I'm sure a graduate wth good grades can figure it out as well, unless he's looking at a different book. Otherwise, the money will be gone, and everything will remain as it is, BROKE! All these little projects to beautify parks, benches, line pockets, is really criminal, and it's not putting people back to work, it's not creating jobs. What is those impowered doing? are they sitting back waiting for the well to run dry, then say I told you so! I knew you wouldn't do right. At that time, it'll be too late. Also I'd like to know, don't they screen these people, being considered for government positions? Do they really believe they can get these cheating non tax paying individuals appointed without their past coming up? You would think after the first fiasco, or second, or third, they'd find someone qualified without a checkered past / present. I think the president needs to have his posse line up the buses outside the doors of all these crooks on Wall Street, all the crooks trying to get into Washington, and take them to PRISON! a real prison, not one of these vacation locations. He talked about cleaning things up in his run for the White House, they say the first one hundred days in office defines a presidents legacy, well from where I'm sitting, and I support him and voted for him, but I'm not stupid, this isn't looking to good for him. People see what's going on. we don't need America to shake to it's knees, we need it to stand tall, and if this is the fall of a empire. Then Rome will fall.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

G Snider   February 3rd, 2009 9:10 pm ET

What is missing in the octuplet equation is Responsibility. The mother has shown very little. Unmarried, no money, no job, and yet brings 8 more children into the world, in addition to her current 6. Who does she think is going to provide for them? The welfare system? Her? More than anything, she is irresponsible, and looks like she will not be held accountable. Sad.

Ben   February 3rd, 2009 9:11 pm ET

We cant bail out these companies anymore. They need to learn some budgeting and accountability. Their wont stop their wild spending if they think that we're going to keep throwing money at them.

My parents own a small business of around 60-75 employees, but they know they can't give every employee a Christmas vacation to Fiji and a million dollar Christmas bonus then turn and ask the Government for a bailout because they want to buy an airplane.

Max   February 3rd, 2009 9:16 pm ET

Wow. Can Blago ever answer a question straightforward?

Chris ten   February 3rd, 2009 9:17 pm ET

I am very disturbed as to how this situation began. This woman is obviously mentally disturbed. I hope that the Department of Children and Family Services interveens. The physicians should be investigated by many bodies of license and ethics control. This is an example of how the hospitals and public aid is going broke and unfair claims are being passed on to the rest of this country. These children, all 14 are victims.

Dodie from CA   February 3rd, 2009 9:17 pm ET

blagojevich was taped. He said he did not violate any criminal law because he was caught before he could!!!

Enough of Blagojevich!

Please, Please don't put Bay Buchanan on your show. She never has anything intelligent to say. I like both Republican and Democratic critics, but she is almost as bad as Sarah Palin.

Ben   February 3rd, 2009 9:18 pm ET

What are these other two legs of the stool we keep hearing mention of? I would like to know what the plan is for these. I don't think the American people really go for the "just trust us" attitude from Washington; not since Bush

Mr Blagojevich went to the Illinois senate Why didnt he bring the So Called Whitness he says he has to show proof he actualy has whitness's? Seems to me if your innocent you would do what ever it took to prove your innocense . IWhy do you wonder that a single senator voted for him.
For Clinton, there were some for him. here this poor guy is American but not one of few previleged, and that is why even single democrate did not vote against impeachment. Do you think all senators sitting there are saints? I don't.

BOYCOTT THE OCTUPLETS From Nadya Suleman of Whittier, California!!

In times when the USA is tanking financially, to support an unmarried woman without a job having 14 children is ridiculous! I want to send a strong message that 14 children is outrageous. Just because she is a “baby factory” does not mean she is a responsible parent. The first thing about being a responsible parent is to know your limits! She obviously does NOT!

CHARLIE - FORT WHITE   February 3rd, 2009 9:24 pm ET

Barbara Hyatt   February 3rd, 2009 9:26 pm ET

It's quite obvious, isn't it, Ms. Buchanan, that Obama should be impeached!!! How can we possibly support a president who is unable to find absolutely PERFECT people who have NEVER made a single mistake to fill his cabinet? I'm so surprised that you have not been asked. The octuplets , I sure Hope there watched for allot of years and there not sold off . I Hope they can afford to feed these children and the People of the state dont have to pick up the tab for her "The Mother" Being on Welfare or food assistance.

Rebekah Jensen   February 3rd, 2009 9:27 pm ET

Mr. King, In response to Bay Buchanan's accusations, at the time those people were lobbyests,Barack Obama was not president. And unless they had a crystal ball there is no way that they could have known that they were engaging in behavior that would be forbidden 2 years or less later. You cannot punish someone for a crime that wasn't a crime at the time it was committed. And second, Tom Daschle is one of the most respected people around. He is probably the most knowledgeable and qualified person around to run HHS He made an honest mistake on his taxes and he corrected it. The IRS has laws to address issues where people have made mistakes, either knowingly or as an accident. Tom Daschle abided by those laws and paid the penalty that was owed. And yet he still was vilified by both the Republicans and the media for doing what was the right thing to do. This kind of entertainment punishment of good people has been going on far too long in Washington. I don't know how anyone can still stand by and continue to watch good people be thrown into an arena and then ripped apart by partisan politics and media pundits. It doesn't say much about us as a people or a country.

Brenda from Illini land   February 3rd, 2009 9:27 pm ET

I'm from Illinois and I am an employee of the State of Illinois. I am sick and tired of seeing Blago everywhere and listening to his lies. I wish someone from the news media would ask this pathetic man some TOUGH questions and invite some of the media from Illinois to join Blago on these talk shows. I know, though, that Blago would never permit such a thing to happen because on those occasions when he would show his face at the Capitol here in Springfield, he would never take questions from the media, often darting out a back door after his press conferences. This man is guilty, guilty, guilty of all the allegations against him and I cannot wait for the day he goes to prison. Why won't someone question him about shaking down a children's hospital and trying to get employees of the Chicago Tribune fired? All Blago is doing during this media blitz is looking for some outlet to make some money. I wish the media would quit giving this disgrace of a man a forum in which to spout his lies! Blago, just slink away gently into that good night.

Jan   February 3rd, 2009 9:31 pm ET

I think Rod Blagojevich deserves a fair trial. I cannot believe he is bad and the rest of them are guardians of honesty. I think the people of IL should give him a chance!

Clint   February 3rd, 2009 9:31 pm ET

I think Blago has lied so much he now believes it! Its sad that in our society of corporate scandal, greed on Wal-Street, and now Greed exposed in the Executive Branch of Illinois, that the average person has no outlets to have listen to them. Yet someone like Blago has tried making everyone feel sorry for him, and he'd be better off just admitting his mistake, and move on. People would forgive him for doing that, but the way he's dragging it on now, people will always remember him as the criminal governor..

G Snider   February 3rd, 2009 9:31 pm ET

Now the octuplets' mother has a PR firm to field "offers."
I would like to offer her 3 full time jobs, so she can earn the living that will be necessary to properly care for the children. Unless she works to provide, there are several loosers here: all 14 children, and the taxpayers who will pay. As I said before, this is so sad.

Howard 'duke' Holtz from Lakeport, CA   February 3rd, 2009 9:33 pm ET

Larry – I thank the Lord for CNN. Rod Blagojevich has exceeded the definition of 'double talk', and created a new fantasy world of 'triple talk'. Do you think that he ever listens to what he has said?

Wendy   February 3rd, 2009 9:34 pm ET

Why do you allow this guy to come on your show again & keep repeating the same stuff? We heard all this on every other show, he's
no longer the Governor, enough of him whining already!

Vicky   February 3rd, 2009 9:34 pm ET

I have resided in Illinois all of my life. I have never seen a circus act such as Blagojevich! All of his comments are self-serving rhetoric. If he had even one thought of concern for the people of the state of Illinois, he would have resigned rather than take his act across country. He has become even more paranoid and grandiose in his reasoning than I ever thought possible. WE are tired of hearing from him and tired of all of his excuses for his behavior. Enough all ready. He should be spending his energy getting ready for his criminal trial. He has made our state enough of a laughing stock.

Sue Seibel   February 3rd, 2009 9:37 pm ET

PLEASE stop giving our mentally ill former governor a forum to spread his dillusions and make them seem like fact. Here are some facts –
he continually talks about the "will of the people" that he be governor, and I can assure you if you asked the people of Illinois right now, our will would be that he go away quietly. The assertion that he couldn't call witnesses is just FALSE- the only witnesses he couldn't call were Valerie Jarrett and Rahm Emanuel, everyone else was fair game. The prosecutors couldn't call these witnesses either. He is fear mongering that his successor got rid of him to raise our taxes, he is throwing any dirt he can think of to just see what will stick. He has made our state a joke, you people are giving him a soap box to do it. We want to be left alone to find our way back after this vain and awful man was finally removed from office. AND THAT IS THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE OF ILLINOIS. Stop feeding his ego mania-this is not funny if you live in Illinois

A. Henry. Philadelphia. PA   February 3rd, 2009 9:39 pm ET

Blah, blah, blah... the more Rod Blagojevich talks, the more annoying he is becoming. Initially I started to listen to his sob story, now I find him just annoying. Instead of maintaining some class and discretion, he runs around doing the talk show circuit and never stops whining. Just like in office, he had a big mouth and it's obvious he doesn't know when to shut up. Just go crawl under a rock.

Will   February 3rd, 2009 9:39 pm ET

Rod keeps saying he just wants to keep doing the work of the people of Illinois, and that legislators have let the people down by booting him. REALITY CHECK, ROD! I'M A RESIDENT OF ILLINOIS, AND I DON'T WANT YOU AS MY GOVERNOR ANYMORE! LAWMAKERS DIDN'T LET ME DOWN, YOU DID.

GO AWAY, ROD. JUST GO AWAY.

Tami Doetch   February 3rd, 2009 9:40 pm ET

Hi Larry,

I am an Illinois resident who would like to set the record straight with former Gov. Blagojevich. The people of Illinois do not want him representing our fine state. He already ruined our reputation. He is a guilty crook, despite his ridiculous rantings to the opposite. The people of Illinois are ecstatic he is finally gone!!! What a waste of our taxpayer dollars!!! Thankfully, there have been others from Illinois that we are very proud of–Lincoln and Obama to name just a few. Hopefully the rumblings of Blago's "twice elected by the people of Illinois" will fade into the future, just as his falacy that the people of Illinos want him to continue as governer. Good ridence!!!!!

inCindy   February 3rd, 2009 9:43 pm ET

Larry,

I don't know why you asked Rod what he meant with "The Fix is In". you of all people should know that when there's a strong force that is self empowered to strike you down, it ill happen regardless. We are in a state of time that being politacally correct is viewed as being more relevant than being correct. I say don't back down for the cause of the people and for the best interest of the many. We will al be judged for the actions that we fulfilled in the name of the Lord. I ask you Larry, the same question you will be asked at the Gates of Heaven...What did you do my Child with the gifts I gave you for the best interest of mankind? PLEASE LARRY INVESTIGATE THE ILLINOIS POLITICIANS WHO HAVE DONE MUCH WORSE.

Gigi   February 3rd, 2009 9:48 pm ET

Larry,
When they talk about campaign money
why does no one address
Mike Madigan and his daughter Atty General Lisa Madigan
Mike used State money to beef up his daughters coffers when she was running for Atty General--Please tell me why both of them are not impeached, after all this is not an allegation it is true and everyone knows it!!!

omelie bramwell   February 3rd, 2009 9:50 pm ET

i think that the former governor going on all these different show is completely ridicules and he is no way shape or form saying anything that would make him not guilty he is just upset that everybody else got away with the same thing he was doing and wants to complain to the public about it

Marshelle Samuels   February 3rd, 2009 9:51 pm ET

The octuplets story is both sad and telling. We live in a GPS society; Greed, Power and Selfishness. The mother's actions can be explained buy using the GPS theory.

Pat   February 3rd, 2009 9:51 pm ET

BLAHg.....BLAHg.....BLAHgohevich!! enough said

a considered, younger viewer   February 3rd, 2009 9:52 pm ET

Hey Mr. King! Look, I am only 17 years old, probably much younger than most of your viewers, but I still feel like I have ten times more common sense than most of the adults. Why is the situation with the poor mother of the octuplets being debated on!? This woman has just recently had 8 children and guess what, she must be darn tired! Why can't the media leave her alone? This is not anyone else's business but her own. We don't live in a dictatorship society where the lives of individuals are subject to intervention by the government and the not so smart American public.

Brenda from Illini land   February 3rd, 2009 9:53 pm ET

Fortunately, the ONLY opinions that count regarding Blago are the opinions of the people of the State of Illinois who by a significant majority wanted this corrupt man removed from office, and we the people of the State of Illinois are the ONLY ones who will make up the jury pool and convict this man. Those in the media looking at this case from the outside in need to educate themselves on the irreparable harm this pathetic man has done to our great state.

Larry, I wish you would contact Jim Leach, News Director of talk radio station WMAY here in Springfield, Illinois, tel # 217-629-7077. And Jim Leach is a Liberal, by the way, who is well- versed in the activities of the State House. I would for you to have him as a call-in guest on your show the next time you do have a discussion about the corrupt Blago.

Dodie from CA   February 3rd, 2009 9:57 pm ET

Nadya Suleman of Whittier, California is already receiving HELP. She is receiving donated Breast milk! So she is unable to breast feed her tribe of children.

George   February 3rd, 2009 9:57 pm ET

That was pure PR hog wash

Dee   February 3rd, 2009 9:57 pm ET

Larry: I actually heard many conversations on tape by Blagojevich, that the senate played. There were at least 31 conversations in which Blago tried to trade the Senate seat for something of value for himself, and he also directed subordinates to act on his behalf. This blepping Senate seat is golden. Its a blepping valuable thing, you just don't give it away for nothing.

The tapes captured over and over again, he was putting his own interests first, fully knowing what he did was unlawful. a clear pattern of abuse.

John Harris gave a direct message to the Tribune Board, always in person never on the phone. John Harris talked to the Tribune Co, to tell them no money from the state unless members of the Tribune board are fired.

There was the Tollway project, in which he said he wanted several million.
Johnny Johnston said so and so doesn't want to pay until he knows bill will reach the governors desk.

The governor directed votes on the Hospital permits. Rezko was involved with this. I listened to these tapes. This guy is not innocent. If Blago would have been more low- key and tried to cooperate instead of going on all these shows, people would have had more compassion for him.

Thanks for the great shows Larry. Dee

Gigi   February 3rd, 2009 9:59 pm ET

To Tami and Will,
I too am a resident of Illinois and I wish strongly that he was still our Governor. You fell for the snow job–I didn't.
I like Blagojevich and he did a great deal for the people of Illinois.

Carmella   February 3rd, 2009 10:00 pm ET

They are her children and it is her life. As long as she can take care of them and is not asking for govt assistance, it's not a conversation.
Who is anyone to judge? It's her business, while I don't agree with it, let it go, it's her life.

chris jeffers   February 3rd, 2009 10:00 pm ET

In regards to the octuplet mother- I'd personally like a list of anyone paying the mother for her story so I know who's products and services to boycott. By paying her, these companies and shows are rewarding greed, inhumanity and irresponsibility. Giving diapers to help the children is one thing, but the 2 million price tag she's asking for from people like Oparah so she can tell the world how irresponsible she is? This is ridiculous. And after the news casts last night reporting that her ambition now is to have a TV show and tell people how to responsible raise children- make me gag and vomit. She's already proven she can't responsibly raise children. 6 children that are under the age of 7 in a home facing bankruptcy and foreclosure that she, her 6 kids, and her parents live in, and now 8 more children!!!! An estimated cost of half a million dollars before the 8 children even leave the hospital born to a mother with no job!!!! This is disgusting!!! 6 children- that aren't even raised yet... and she feels the need to have 8 more. Let's work on the first 6, and if they make it with no problems, ok... maybe have another 1 or 2 kids. There's absolutely.... ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR HER TO DO WHAT SHE DID!!!! And now we're allowing the kids to be marketed? What's the miracle in this to be marketed, and where's the ethics and morals that common sense should have instilled in them. I say again- disgusting. I wish the best for her children, though I think any money this woman gets should be used commiting her to a psych ward, cause this is the definition of insanity.

Vicki from NJ   February 3rd, 2009 10:02 pm ET

Obviously the PR person for the woman that had 8 kids is going to have only the best things to say, but let's not forget and why didn't you ask her why the own girl's father said that she only wanted and was planning to have 1 child in this pregnancy. He didn't seem happy at all about all of this. And, who's kidding who here. That woman is not doing it all on her own because it's impossible, period! Anyone with brains knows this. I come from a family of 10 children and we ranged in ages from young to teens and it was tough on my mother. My father worked two jobs all his life to support us. Any, what about these experiments that were going on with the doctors? This PR person is saying it was all natural. There's nothing natural about this and this woman is definitely getting support from somewhere. Anyone with a family of just two knows this so why are we all pretending that this woman herself is a miracle or something. Let's start asking some hard questions here.

Al Leong - Chicago   February 3rd, 2009 10:05 pm ET

Larry,

I believe you have enough video footage, along with the other interviews to provide enough inferential evidence, with the FBI tapes to put him behind bars.

He has been given every chance to take responsibility, beg for forgiveness to all the people he's used, including the global media to apologize to the people he's hurt. And, he has not.

It is sad he keeps going back and forth, defending, then apologizing, then repeating the same mistakes. He is not learning. I believe he has a learning disability.

What he doesn't know is that after he is behind bars, his wife will only be able to visit him every so often, and then for conjugal visits.

In several interviews, including yours tonight, he started admitting to certain things, errors, acts, etc., and then pulls back. He does this on other shows, but in particular, his two interviews on CNN. You may want to forward these video tapes to the FBI as evidence (the FBI may request this in any case). They will be put into the entire context of his avoiding his impeachment trial and as an attempt to taint any jury pool.

Best of luck, Larry. You interview well and minimize the waste of viewer's time and mental energy in listening to this con-artist.

Kind regards,
Al Leong

Scott C   February 3rd, 2009 10:07 pm ET

I can't believe the women who has the audacity to exploite her children on tv for their gain can even coment on the women who has just had 8 babies. I think Kate should just shut her mouth and send the check ..

Naeemah, MD   February 3rd, 2009 10:10 pm ET

I WATCH LARRY KING ALMOST EVERY NIGHT AND TONIGHT WAS THE FIRST NIGHT THAT I WAS AMAZED BY HIS QUESTIONING OF THE PR PERSON FOR THE QUINTUPLETS MOM. 1-WHO'S PAYING FOR HER MEDICAL BILLS, 2-DO THE CHILDREN HAVE THE SAME FATHER, 3-IS SHE ON WELFARE.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. IF SHE WEREN'T BLACK WOULD THOSE QUESTIONS BE ASKED? DO THE DUGGARS GET ASKED THOSE QUESTIONS. THEY HAVE 18 CHILDREN AND COUNTING THEY HAVE A REALITY TV SHOW THAT SUPPORTS THEIR CHILDREN. THIS WOMAN IS EDUCATED, WORKING AND YES ALL THE CHILDREN HAVE THE SAME FATHER. I AM SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THIS OUTRAGE. SINCE WHEN GIVING LIFE IS AN OUTRAGE. REMEMBER, THERE ARE MORE WHITE PEOPLE ON PUBLIC ASSISTANCE THAN BLACK. THIS WOMAN IS A WORKING PROFESSIONAL WITH HEALTH INSURANCE, A DEGREE AND AMBITION FOR AN ADVANCED DEGREE. MY MOTHER ALWAYS TOLD THAT NO MATTER ON MANY DEGREES YOU HAVE OR HOW WELL YOU DO IN LIFE, THEY WILL ONLY SEE YOU AS JUST ANOTHER "N". I HAVE TOO MUCH CLASS TO SAY THE WORD BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DO THINK IT...

Naeemah, MD   February 3rd, 2009 10:13 pm ET

I MEANT OCTUPLETS. DON'T KNOW WHY I SAID QUINTUPLETS

Judy   February 3rd, 2009 10:16 pm ET

I have no sympathy for politicians who don't pay their taxes like Charlie Rangel, Timothy Geithner, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Tom Daschle and now Nancy Killefer who just today withdrew her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government because she failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help. You know what? I've paid every single tax known to man – like personal income tax, estate tax, capital gains tax, alternative minimum tax, real estate taxes and household employer taxes, not to mention sales, city, state, borough and school tax. Unlike Killefer, I do not have a degree from MIT or sit on the IRS Oversight Board but even I know to pay household employer taxes. In fact, I've paid accountants thousands of dollars to MAKE SURE I was paying my fair share. You see, it's "patriotic" to pay taxes -to quote Vice President Joe Biden. I'm just doing my part in the "redistribution of wealth" to quote President Obama. But apparently those standards do not apply to potential cabinet members or your average politician. So, I guess this April 15th, I'll do what I do every year and report everything I've earned then pay half that amount to various government agencies. I'll continue to make sacrifices in my standard of living while these politicians go back to their board positions, and consultants jobs and vacation homes (plural).

Chris   February 3rd, 2009 10:19 pm ET

Thank you Jo Ann,
by the way , didn't the mother say at the very beginning "she don't want to be known" and now all of a sudden she can't wait to speek to reporters? All she want is money . Even with a masters degree, how on earth do you feed, clothe, by school supplies and so on, for all these kids. Good luck, and i do feel sorry for the kids, not growing up with a father because the mother had to be so selfish. And yes, i do do think she lives with her mother.
And the Family with 18 kids and counting are a laugh to. They act like they live in a holy land. I just would like to know how they pay for every thing for instance that big house and the utilities ?

mae sims   February 3rd, 2009 10:21 pm ET

dear mr. king, i think people should back off of this women. i think she have done a noble thing in allowing all the babies to be born, she had the chance to abort some but she chose life. people are coming after this woman as if she have comitted murder or mistreated a dog..... i think we have more to worry about in this country than a woman who chose in-vetro fertilization because she wanted more children. i don't see them going after wall-street, the big car companies, mortage companies and all the waste and greed in our government. AND BY THE WAY, OUR PRESIDENT WAS RAISED BY A SINGLE PARENT.

temmy   February 3rd, 2009 10:22 pm ET

THIS IS VERY DISGUSTING, HAD SHE EVER WORK IN HER LIFE, EARN MONEY THE HARD WAY,AT 33,SINGLE PARENT, SHE WON'T BE SAYING THIS RUBBISH, THIS KIDS ARE INNOCENT DDON'T GET ME WRONG BUT THIS LADY AND THE STUDIP DOCTORS THAT INPLANTED THIS ARE SO CRAZY, AM 38, WITH 2 CHILDRENN, I WOULD HAVE LOVE TO HAVE 4 BUT WITH THIS ECONOMY I JUST CAN'T, I WANT TO HAVE THE CHILDREN I WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE FULL RSPONSIBILITY ON AS TO SEND THEM TO THE BEST COLLEGE BUT IN THIS LADY CASE SHE FEELS WE ARE ALL IDIOTS THAT ATLEAST OUR TAX MONEY WILL BE USE ON HER AND THE 14KIDS, THIS IS JUST IRRITATING, THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY THE MEDIA ARE GIVING HER ALL THIS ATTENTION. SHE IS ALREADY TALKING ABOUT WRITING A BOOK, MAKING MONEY OFF US WHY WE ARE ALL STRUGGLING WITH THIS ECONOMY,THIS IS SO OUTRAGEROUS

G Snider   February 3rd, 2009 10:25 pm ET

Carmella – so, can we sign you up to pay double your current taxes, to fund the octuplets' mother's needs?
As you said, it's her business. So, you can fund it. i don't want to.

G Snider   February 3rd, 2009 10:29 pm ET

Mae Sims – same question: can we sign you up to pay double taxes for this woman?
How about you funding her freedom?

Gigi   February 3rd, 2009 10:35 pm ET

To Dee:

If Blagojevich was in this for himself he would be rich!!!
But he is not–did that ever cross your mind?
This snow job is all the result of Mike Madigan.
Mike wants his daughter Lisa to be the Governor.
And their past is not clean at all!!!
Give me Blagojevich and not the phony Mike and that Miss Goody two shoes daughter of his.

Diane   February 3rd, 2009 10:36 pm ET

Is anyone wondering what will happen after Blago's trial and all the corrupt politicians are identified? Illinois is not the only state that will be left in a state of shock. Blagos sins are going to seem miniscule compared to the money laundering done in every area of government in getting the "right" person for the "job". If this man takes the fall for all the corrupt politicians I hope he writes a book and we can clean the slates in every state! He may be just the ticket to actually clean up the white house!

Naeemah, MD   February 3rd, 2009 10:49 pm ET

Temmy, please get the facts straight. This lady is not making money off of you. She works for Kaiser. She has insurance, not medicaid. She works. Before we make assumptions, we should get the facts. Jon and Kate are making money from us. The Duggars are making money from us. Is anyone complaining about them like this. Their family is celebrated. This lady needs support. Has anyone congratulated her on successfully delivering 8 healthy babies. I am appauled by the comments.

Kristen   February 3rd, 2009 10:52 pm ET

I wish we'd quit rewarding obnoxious baby factories like Kate Gosselin with reality television shows.

Mark Wilson   February 3rd, 2009 11:11 pm ET

It looks like the IRS doesn't audit anyone in the Senate or Congress.
I need to get elected and go to Washington, NOT!
I think all our elected officials need to be audited every year to keep those #$%*!^%$ honest.

Dodie from CA   February 3rd, 2009 11:14 pm ET

Larry:

After listening to your thoughts, I feel your a caring and wonderful father along with doing the responsible thing by limiting how many children you have!

Thank you

Dodie from CA   February 3rd, 2009 11:17 pm ET

Kristen: I totally agree with you

To continue rewarding individuals who have huge families may set a trend for others. That is very frightening! I have two grandchildren in which I would like to leave a reasonably decent planet to live on. My concern is that we will over populate to the point of extermination! Unfortunately we will be the last to go after exterminating many other species.

Dr Right   February 3rd, 2009 11:59 pm ET

I need to send donation to Governor Rod Bolgevich.
Any Po.Box to mail help for his court fees.
He is NOT Guilty.
He is a fighter for the poor and old.

Blagojevich should clear his name and run for the Senate on 2010.
I will send him my $25 to run.
We love you Governor.
Please start P.O.Box and Internet site for donations for your court, and Senate Seat.

Lindy Buren   February 4th, 2009 12:12 am ET

If I had a piece of baloney and some boo hooey, I'd make a sandwich.!
I would be very interested now to see the results if ALL our congressmen have a problem with taxes! Investigate them all!!!!!

Al - Chicago / Toronto   February 4th, 2009 12:16 am ET

Larry,

Please, please please, stop giving Rod Blahgoyovich airtime, unless you can slyly get him to admit to some wrongdoing. He is now officially, tired and boring.

He's a former federal prosecutor who knows the tricks to turn almost any conversation or situation around using manipulated rhetoric and diversion tactics. Thankfully, he's not that astute and his armor is not bulletproof – his emotions are telling.

He speaks, avoids the direct question using process rules to legitimize his inability to answer the question (rather than an unwillingness), reframes, blames you (the questioner) and tries to get sympathy for himself and then attacks, if possible. All in one breath!

If you play back your videos, you can see a repeated pattern of his approach until you are exhausted. He then gets doubt from people (audience or jury) who are not familiar with his case – sympathy – to induce doubt for his case. I believe he is simultanously testing this approach each time he cycles through a verbose defense (to test chinks in armor and in the listener), in preparation for a jury trial and fine tune his "righteousness-speak." His speech becomes quick, and hurried – the defense of a liar. So, you cannot counter-question each of his statements.

It is because people don't want to get angry, frustrated, and you cannot get him to answer a question – similar to frustration of contract so that you cannot pin him down, hoping you will give up. You have to put an inordinate amount of energy to stop him to answer the question. Most people won't. Not on TV anyways for fear of looking bad on National TV. (opposite of Halo effect).

If you had about 3-5 hours of intense questioning, he would break down. Then a jury MIGHT feel sorry for him and let him off the hook. The first step to stopping him is to make fun of him, personally (not professionally – because that is what he does implicitly).

However, a very astute, well-planned interview and cross-examination strategy (reverse questioning, facts, etc., video tapes) can foil this. It will happen at trial. He will never ADMIT to it. He is in far too deep. His ego. And, so he will go to jail.

Please just kick him off your show before we all turn off CNN.
He's tired and won't help your ratings further. He was impeached, and CONVICTED. The state senate made that unanimous decision.

Blago is unrepentant. He is not a man of the church, yet he asks priests and clergy help as a ploy. He uses his children and family as a defense shield.

He is figuratively and in some real ways, Satanic.

Christians are told to 'see good in all people.'
i do see some good in him, but only when he is hurt and weak.
Then he starts attacking again. He needs to be locked up, and rest for a long while, and rehabilitated into a good person. Unfortunately that may take 10-15 years.

Blagojevich did NOTHING wrong.
all politician ask for donations and appoint their donors as ambassadorship
or other state or fed. positions.
ILL politicians must be ashamed of themsleves
for what they did for the good Governor.
Why they did not ask for early election and let the voters decide.
CA did for Governor. Davis

ed ,vancouver canada   February 4th, 2009 12:31 am ET

Larry king ,it would be nice if you found other topics for your show like economics so the people of the u.s. and canada can see how the countries have been sold out to foreign interests. Amazing stuff. So selling people on this "u.s. only " for infrastructure as i see it not really american.
It would be interesting to see how many are 100% u.s owned.
That is if it is anything like canada........
Alcan aluminum was bought by Rio Tinto before the market crash.
9% of Rio is owned by a chinese state owned aluminum company.
Rio borrowed 39 billion to buy Alcan and now is forced to sell off more to the chinese or others because they are debt ridden.
Teck corporation is 39% owned by the japanese.Teck spent 14 billion to buy Fording coal last year, and now they are 9.8 billion u.s. in debt over it.They are considering selling more to the japanese to cover the 5.8billion loan that expires in october.
The stock values then drop and foreigners save even more money.
The canadian government is trying to tell the canadian population that we have natural resources. If canadian projects use only canadian goods major profits still go to china and japan.
With all the foreign interest invested it now makes sense why a 50 cent dollar looks so good and crashing market prices are good.
China and japan need the metals and resources.
No wonder there is a global economy, canada does not seem to own much anymore. No wonder this turned into a global mess so quickly because major parts of both countries have been sold out.
I do not really blame obama for the "u.s. only" idea. How many of those u.s. companies are owned 100% by the americans though?
In the end it is still global trade because it was sold in part to foreigners.
At least the heads of canada's big banks are taking pay cuts in the 50% range, some even more. The politicians should do the same.

chris dowdy   February 4th, 2009 12:34 am ET

Will someone please shut his arrogant butt up.I am an over the road truck driver for the last 10 yrs and I have hated him since day 1.There is a split speed limit in the state where trucks run 10 mph slower that other vechiles. There have been 3 times we have had a 3/4 majority in the house and senate to pass the bill and send it to him just to have him veto it and when the congress when to override the veto they didn't have the votes to over ride it because he scared and threaten them. The bills was that rural interstates speed limit will be 65 will someone please tell me where in Chicago can you go faster than 55?And I also bet the media hasn't said that he files from to Chicago to Springfield on a plane provided at taxpayers expense along with the fuel for the plane. All of this is because his wife didn't want to move into the governor's manchion in Springfield. All I have to say is goodbye to bad garbage

Dr Right   February 4th, 2009 12:38 am ET

Keep your show interesting.

fanny   February 4th, 2009 12:51 am ET

Enough already! Why are you giving this guy (Blagojevich) so much attention when there are so many other important issues in the world today? Israel, the middle east, Darfur, Economy, Global warming...and I can go on and on, just as you could add to this list.
Let the courts interview him and and decide what the verdict will be!
Keep your show interesting.

Dr Right   February 4th, 2009 12:58 am ET

Fanny has a poor judgment.
can not has a nice man lose his jib as Governor.
He could help in Global warming as Senator or Governor.
assume you are in his place, unjustly lost your job and facing a lawyer fees for $1 Million with 2 kids.
This is not how we do things in America.

I'd call re-election for governer by June.

fanny   February 4th, 2009 1:07 am ET

Mr. Right.....

WHAAAATATATAT are you saying? Have you listened to his taped conversations? Are you on top of the existing evidence?
Help in global warming? You have to be kidding, I wouldn't trust him with the planet that I live on at all!

Unjustly lost his job? I can name a million other people who have unjustly lost their jobs and all their life savings thanks to dishonest men...c'mon wake up and smell the coffee.

I'm glad that Americans are finally making quick decisions on very clear issues.

Mom of 3   February 4th, 2009 1:35 am ET

Hi Larry,
Maybe she is a great mother, but thats not the point.
Has anyone thought that maybe the mother went to Mexico and got inseminated. Shoot they dont have laws there like they do here . You know who ever that doctor is, is in on for the $$$$$. I agree, any company who gives her money, I will definatly boycot. In this day of our economy, its hard to make ends meet as it is. Also there are many many people that have Kaiser Permanent who are on medical. My husband and I both work, we have three kids and have a yearly income over 100K. Its incrediable our money goes. Anybody out there who thinks she can possiably support all of them herself, from a regular paying job is out of their minds ( she would have to have 5 100K full time jobs plus just to make ends meet (and I mean nothing from the government). Lets hope for the best for us hard working tax payers.

Nancy Neary   February 4th, 2009 9:53 am ET

I watched your interview with Blagojevich again. I do not understand why the media doesn't challenge his statements about not being able to bring in witnesses to the impeachment trial. He was invited to help draft the rules of the trial, he was invited to show up and bring whatever he witnesses he chose. He chose instead to do a media blitz. No one has asked him why he ran the state from his living room, why he chose not to live in Springfield, the seat of our government, and who (taxpayers) paid for his commuting by plane to Springfield. I did not see a single interview where his statements were seriously challenged. Illinois is not the most corrupt state in the country, we are the 14th. This is not something to be proud of.

Heaven Kautzman   February 4th, 2009 11:36 am ET

Larry, I think we all need to take a long hard look at where this issue of multiple births is going. To be honest with you, your guest Kate Gosselin could possibly be the reason this woman in California made the decision she did. Kate and Jon Gosselin show the fabulous life of having multiples, big homes, name brand clothing, trips, ect. ect. I would love to see you dedicate an entire show to the Gosselin's. People are outraged by this woman. She is exploiting her children. Can this be healthy for them? Lets ask them some tough questions. I am sure their PR firm filtered thru your questions but you dissapointed me. You were too light on Kate Gosselin. Does Kate Gosselin realize that she is no longer seen as a hard working , struggling to make the bills , mother of multiples. Please have them back and lets take this further. The mother in California obviously has poor judgement but in her defense I believe she had outside influences ie,,,, Kate Gosselin, The Duggers.... Please do an entire show on Exploiting your children to make yourself millions.

Mary Berry   February 4th, 2009 12:16 pm ET

I want to know why The lady with the octuplets is getting all the bad press for wanting money for her story.Theis news magazine's will pay millions to celebrities for pictures of their babies.
This lady and her babies will need all the help they can get.
Thank you

sean brizendine   February 4th, 2009 12:30 pm ET

larry i have to say that kate's life has turned out pretty good after parlaying her giant birth into a media phenomenon.

"sean in santa rosa"

Paige Winter   February 4th, 2009 1:33 pm ET

Rod Blagojevich looks and sounds just pitiful on TV. He has no defense except to keep saying he "didn't do anything wrong". The more he talks, the stupider he sounds. It's sad. He should stay home and work on his upcoming trial.

I think the majority of people obviously are concerned for the welfare of these children, that's no question. The mother's mental state is also in question. But I think because of the economy that our country is facing right now has many people up in arms over how these children are going to be fed and sheltered with possible tax payer money should she need to go on welfare.

She obviously isn't in a position like the Duggar family in Utah.

Lisa Clement   February 4th, 2009 4:07 pm ET

Is Kate Goslin concern that she will get replace with this woman and her babies. Jon and kate have be giving a hand out. They both want work and make money off their kids.

As far as this Gov. What a jock.

REBECCA   February 4th, 2009 4:08 pm ET

I don't care if the woman has 50 babies!! At least have them one or two at a time.....like a normal human being. .. Vitro Fertitization is against the laws of Nature....creating multiple births for humans is UNNATURAL!!!! ..We've broken the Laws of Nature,...actually,..crimes against Nature, so is there any wonder what we will produce? One shock after another! ..If this is 'selective outrage'....it's just ONE of them, ...and so be it!

Sharon S   February 4th, 2009 4:11 pm ET

Well I for one would like clarification on the fact the mother of the 8 new babies has a job and where? Because the last report CNN did on this woman they clearly stated she DID NOT have a job and had only had one job her whole life and supposedly was injured on it and has not worked since?

So Why is her PR woman lying? Calling this woman a professional? A professional what? Baby Maker? Now there is an idea for you, how about she get paid to give her babies to couples who want them and can afford them?

I think this woman and the doctor who implanted her were in on a scheme to make milliions but now that the whole truth is she has NO husband, NO income, NO job and NO way of taking care of these kids and obviously was and still IS on Welfare! the whole scheme has blown up in their faces!

And Who and Where exactly is this doctor who gave this woman these expensive implants? How did she pay for them?

I doubt she did knowing she has 6 other children to take care of how in the world did she afford these implants?

So some questions here I feel you should have asked Larry, Where is her job? Why did we report she has NO job?
Who is the doctor who did the implants? How did she pay for the implnats? And how does she intend on paying for 14 children, especially now that her poor parents are bankrupt???

This whole story sickens me!

This was NOT an act of GOD just more Human greed!

Max Lawson   February 4th, 2009 4:20 pm ET

In the State of Washington, 2008 there were 148 deaths of children while in foster care under the watchful eyes of the Governor Chris Gregoire, D.S.H.S and child protective services. D.S.H.S is not doing home visits and checks, the governor is not checking the checker. The Governor and D.S.H.S. is guilty of gross negligence in not taking due care of someone or somebody comes to harm and should be prosecuted.  I fear for my granddaughter, Shayna's Krueger life who is 10 months old and has been in placement for 5 months. D.S.H.S. refuses to place my granddaughter with my wife and I because we live in Ohio .Another day goes by without knowing about my granddaughter. Was she loved today? Was she held and cuddled? Was she fed? Was she warm, does she have her own comfortable, warm bed? Did someone play with her or read her a book? Did they praise her or teach her something new? With 148 deaths in Washington state of children in placement last year, my biggest question is, DID SHE SURVIVE? If DSHS  were following state laws in Washington, I wouldn’t have to wonder any of these things, she would be placed with family and I would know the answer to these questions. I would know she had all those things and more. I would know that more than just her “basic” needs were being met, which is all DSHS asks for. But with so many deaths, how do we know even basic needs are being met? What grandparent doesn’t want more for their grandchild than their “basic” needs being met? What grandparent doesn’t want to know their grandchild is more than money? DSHS gets a lot of money to keep my grandchild in placement. We want no money, just peace of mind.
Please help our granddaughter! Please help us to bring her home where we know she is being well taken care of. Please care about what DSHS in Thurston county Washington and all over the state are doing to our children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. My wife Sharon and I have a custody hearing, family court 2-25-09 at 1:30pm. I don't want my granddaughter to by another Tyler DeLeon. The night before Tyler Deleon turned 7, he was so thirsty he ripped a hole in the screen of his bedroom to eat snow. By the next evening, Tyler was dead. He weighed just 28 Pounds, the size of an average 2 year old. Dehydration is the official cause of death, but authorities think Tyler suffered a variety of abuses at the hands of his adoptive mother, Carole Deleon, a woman who led seemingly ordinary life as a paralegal with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Spokane. Records released by the state Department of Social and Health Services(DSHS) say that between 1988 and 2005, Carole DeLeon had deprived at least four of other adoptive of foster children of food and that she was accused of punishing her biological children by withholding food, as well. Yet DSHS didn't recognize the pattern until after Tyler died in January 2005.    Please see that state laws are followed and children are placed with their families.   Max Lawson     (937) 206-6096

Larry – Why did you have Kate Gosselin as a guest? She is the role model for the mom of octuplets. She has made millions off her sextuplets. The Gosselin show Jon and Kate plus 8 is no different than Quintland in Canada.

Why didn't you ask her questions on why she thinks its ok for her to exploit her kids?

sailormansea   February 4th, 2009 6:57 pm ET

Outrageous Octuplets! I am equally concerned for the dire future of these children due to their soon to be bleak reality. Take a overeducated professional student with 6 prior kids, no job, bankruptcy, no husband, add 4 frozen eggs, 6 tablespoons of sperm and mix in a big bowl from her mommy's kitchen. Put in the oven and bake for almost 9 months. Now if you have followed the recipe correctly you will yield the same irresponsible, obsessive compulsive unemployed and unmarried leach that will either go on welfare or will try to sell her nutty story for 2 million! Either way she does it, she herself has almost singlehandedly except for the nutty doctors that made this even possible have caused havoc in our society...ethically and financially. Bankrupt 1 1/2 years ago with a net debt of 980, 000 bucks. Misery loves company!

Jen   February 4th, 2009 6:58 pm ET

Just wondering why the tougher questions about the Gosselin family weren't asked on the show? One guest on your panel remarked that she hoped the Octuplet Mom wouldn't use the kids for financial gain. At that moment you could have switched to Kate Gosselin and asked her expert opinion on the subject.

When a mother refers to filming 4 days a week in their home as "the family job" then one can only construe that the children are "working". Where are the tough questions about that?

I was happy to learn that Paul Petersen, of A Minor Consideration and respected expert on the exploitation of children in the entertainment industry has been commenting on this issues and calling for the cancellation of "Jon and Kate Plus Eight". He would be an extraordinary guest to have on a panel! Please Larry and production staff....consider that this subject of kids on tv and making money for the parents is the greater issue.

sailormansea   February 4th, 2009 7:06 pm ET

I feel only for the innocent children in this case along with the already overburdened California tax payers. Oh yes also to top it off...She is not even a citizen of the U.S yet but thanks to her we now have 14 new american citizens soon to be on the dole for who knows how long. Lady Liberty is crying out on this one for sure. Give us your poor, your ignorant leeches that don't want to pull their weight , give us your unethical parasites. Send her to her country where she will certainly have a quick bleak sneek peek at reality. No food stamps and welfare system for her to belly up to. I bet her belly would dissapear for the rest of her days.

sailormansea   February 4th, 2009 7:26 pm ET

To succinctly answer Sharon Stones inquiry concerning the woman whom resides in Whittier, California with her parents. She is jobless period. Described by family, friends, and neighbors as a obsessive compulsive professional student. She has a BS in Child and Adolescent Behavior from the U of C. She was studying for her masters years ago but that went bye bye. I don't know of any type of physical injury that would be serious enough for her not to be able to work especially since she seemed extremely fit for duty when it came down to having a grand total of now 14 children. She found a new angle to support herself and her necessary 14 children. Baby factory pay that comes out to a minimum of $5,200 per month for the support from the state. A minimum of $300.00 per child per month provided they are not of special needs like one of her prior is. She and her family will be a ward of the state for many years to come if she can't sell the rights to her story for the 2 million clams she has already announced and hired a PR spokesperson. I love America!

sailormansea   February 4th, 2009 7:34 pm ET

I think we should do Iraq one last favor to show our support. Send this woman and her Iraqi tot army back to the motherland where they can get all that necessary Islamic Fundamentalist brainwashing that they can handle, send them to a real place where women don't drive, and certainly don't have Dr. Frankenstein for an OBGYN. I THINK SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO HER ROOTS! Besides, Iraq needs some new blood so they can carry all those hand grenades on their belts.

carmella from NJ   February 4th, 2009 7:34 pm ET

Larry..this new Mom w/14 children is ONLY twenty/three ! yes /23 yrs? ....sounds kookie to me Larry..we are seniors..really sounds strange to us...have you heard this, Larry ?....

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:20 pm ET

The solution is Job job jobs.
We need to stop giving American jobs for free and stop H1B visas.
We should bring back the millions of outsourced jobs from India and China. This will put Americans back to work

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:22 pm ET

What would China and Inda do if 1.5 million foreigners take over jobs in their countries that were supposed to go to their Citizens.

This will solve our problem
The bottom line is Jobs Jobs jobs and everything will automatically come in its place

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:23 pm ET

It is the Jobs stupid !!!

Dont give out our jobs for free. We are loosing jobs due to Outsourcing

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:25 pm ET

If you are outsourcing American jobs how will the economy imporve.

This is the hight of stupidity and gree. The leakage must be plugged or else we will kill the middle class

m. leduc   February 4th, 2009 9:27 pm ET

please clean up those crap bank and wall street crook like madoff, maybe you get better result!!!!

Dean Zschach   February 4th, 2009 9:27 pm ET

Larry I love your show and have been watching for years.
I think I have the perfect way to solve our economic crisis.
Lets see, 800Billion$ in bale out money 200 Million people in the US. Divide the money evenly to each household and I think our economy will most certainly be stimulated. Also, think of the revenue that much money would generate just from taxes alone. This is a stimulus package we could all benefit from.

Thanks, Sergeant Z

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:29 pm ET

The solution to this complex problem is actually very simple. We must stop outsourcing immediately and bring back the outsourced jobs. This will fire up the US economy, which is the core of the world economic activity. In turn it will generate jobs not only in US but throughout the world. It will also provide a long lasting economic and job stimulus world-wide and save the world from a total economic meltdown. If this policy is not implemented, the consequences will be total chaos throughout the world.

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:29 pm ET

The trillions of dollars the government will borrow and spend will help to ease the pain for a shot-term, but will do little towards the inevitable. The reason is simple; we do not have a viable middle-class any more. The outsourcing for the sake of "corporate profits" has done little good in the past two decades has in fact lowered our standard of living. No nation in the world can outsource their manufacture, software technology, hardware technology, services industry and research and development and still be a viable economy. The real growth in national economy has been realized by countries like China and India that have not outsourced a single job from their country. Jobs are the core of any country's economy. This is the reason the new US Administration is creating jobs at a cost of $200,000 per job, which might or might not be long-term. The greed of the corporate culture has cost us dearly and it will consume the whole world with unimaginable joblessness.

Immy Hussain   February 4th, 2009 9:32 pm ET

Obama does not get it we need to stop the leakage of jobs first instead of spending $200,000 to create a single job. Banning outsourcing does not cost any money. We must stop H1B.

caroline moore   February 4th, 2009 9:32 pm ET

It is about time that we have a president that cares about the people.I back the president all the way. It took eights years plus to get us into this mess.,it is not going to be over night to get out of this. president obama has to start some where. what needs to be done, those irresponsible individuals need to take responsibilty in failing the american people. they know who they are and so does the rest of america.

Sally Dawson   February 4th, 2009 9:42 pm ET

Larry Elder is totally wrong. His type of thinking is holding up a stimulus package that this country needs. Will this package save us? Maybe yes, and maybe no. But we have to get the ball rolling and try things, We will use what works and through out what doesn't. Representatives like Mike Pence and spokes person Larry Elder are totally wrong and are hurting the process. Larry Elder has a hinge lose.

Keoki   February 4th, 2009 10:22 pm ET

I just watched the clip on the octuplets and was shock to find out there was a controversy. WHY? a lady wanted to have kids so what? so she had eight. we don't know for a fact how it happened but it did. I'm sure prior to her giveing birth she new the risks of giving birth and that it was no secret what could happen. People like to do things normal and if it's not normal we get mad about it. We should be supporting her and offering assistants with anything. The time is too late to tell her she can't have eight and it's too dangerous. the babies are already here and thankfully healthy!

There was an issue i have with one of the guest speakers. Kate Gosselin had a wonderful opportunity to show some class and support her. But instead she came off negitive. She could have mentioned that if mom wants to call her for some advice she can give it. Kate would know better than anyone on things that work and things that don't. Ideas that make things in life easier for the mom and the kids. It almost seemed as if she (Kate) was the only one in the world who could handle that much kids at once. I'm sure she did not mean to come off that way and that she is a nice lady. However that interview was very dissappointing.

Yes, we know that much kids is HARD! I myself can not handle it, but give the mother a chance to be a good mother of 14 children and show some support.

Dona and Phil Olson   February 5th, 2009 12:56 am ET

Wells Fargo Financial is our mortgage holder - they bought Wachovia - we've gone bankrupt and they are not willing to help us do a loan modification so we can keep our home. The newspaper said they received 25 billion dollars and can't help us lower the loan payment. Our house was at 350 to 400,000 dollars and now is is selling for $205,000. The government big loans are there to help - how can we receive help?

jose   February 5th, 2009 1:12 am ET

Watching you show tonight I could not believe what I heard so just in my opinion; Why the government should get involved in housing crisis is because of the lack of regulations that should have been enforced on loan agencies to help protect 1st time family home buyers as well we need some sort of system to avoid this kind of disaster which is supposed to exist but not enforced. It seems to me that this home loan modification be offered is to help the good standing investor and not placing an emergency helping event on saving family lives by actually saving their homes.

carrie SO CAL   February 5th, 2009 12:36 pm ET

THIS SELFISH SINGLE WOMAN IS THE REASON CA IS GOING BROKE! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT SHE HAS PAID FOR THE STAFF OF 50 PEOPLE THAT HELPED DELIVER HER BABY AND THE 12 WEEK STAY FOR 8. Rose   February 5th, 2009 5:52 pm ET

Women have abused pregnancy for a very long time. Having many children and not being able to support them is only one abuse.

Other abuses include:
– Getting pregnant to force their boyfriend to marry them.
– Getting pregnant to obtain support payments from the father.
– Getting pregnant to avoid getting a job as they must now "stay home" with the baby.
– Getting pregnant to deter their husband from leaving the marriage.
– Getting pregnant and insisting their husband must support them financially, although the woman agreed initially to continue to work after marriage, for joint family income purposes.
– Getting pregnant when the first child is ready to go to school, and further avoiding getting a job.
– Getting pregnant to qualify for more government handout$.
– Getting pregnant when her children are teenagers, as she doesn't want to work or study or train. A baby at the age of 38 will be her excuse for more avoidance into her 40's.

Any excuse a woman makes to use a pregnancy to further her agenda – is unacceptable. Creating a life to avoid or obtain something in life is the wrong reason to have a baby. Whenever a pregnancy is used to establish financial support or to avoid dealing with the world – it unhealthy.

Have enough self-esteem to be a contributing and self aware person in society – with none, one or many children. Pregnancies are a source of great joy and abuse as well. I realize what I wrote is harsh, but unfortunately it's real and happening all the time.

Sandra Shelton   February 5th, 2009 11:32 pm ET

When I heard the public relations agent for the octuplets' mother say that she is not receiving any public assistance I could not believe my ears. Larry, you should have challenged that. As a NICU nurse, I can tell you that the hospital bill for those babies will be over one million dollars APIECE. So, this unemployed single mother living with bankrupt parents is paying the bill for this tragedy??? Give me a break!!! Several of those babies will be disabled due to the severe prematurity, so they will require lifelong care and financial support.
I hope you will read this on the air to refute the ridiculous claims that this woman has made. Thank you
