Priscilla will do anything to stay in the Limelight.
What the heck is she celebrating Elvis's birthday for? She acts like she is a widow, when she wasn't even married to him at the time of his death.
Soo sick of her!!!!!

barbara connolly   January 8th, 2009 1:29 pm ET

I saw the Elvis' special this weekends with Priscilla and her daughter I believe it was on the gospel channel. I love that he had such a profound love for the lord, you saw it in the way he would sing with the group the imperial. Especially when he sang these songs, He Touched me and How Great Thou Art. It was moving to see how he was moved when he would sing these songs. Can Priscilla comment on Elvis' faith was it as profound as I see when he sings these great Gospel songs.

Thank you for sharing.

I have been an Elvis fan since the age of 9 I am now 44 years old and in 2003 I was so blessed to be able to visit Graceland. There are no words to describe it. I was so enormously happy to be there. I would like to ask Priscilla if and when they visit Graceland do they stay there? Although it is a museum now you can just feel the home as belonging to someone who cherised it dearly. Does she feel that way? Do you feel like it's home when you return to Graceland?

Gerry Ann   January 8th, 2009 4:02 pm ET

I want to thank Priscilla and Lisa and her family for keeping the memory of Elvis alive for all of us who so dearly love him and miss him. I admire everything she has done and continues to do.
I am looking forward to my next visit to the home of the "King".......I have many collectibles and his presence is felt in my home each and everyday.
Thank you for keeping his legacy alive.

Priscilla, are you surprised @ the interest Elvis still attracts so many years after his death???

Melissa B ~ California   January 8th, 2009 5:20 pm ET

"Well, isn't that special!" How endearing. I find it amazing that she left Elvis when he was alive, but she's been all about Elvis after his death. Although his daughter Lisa Marie is the sole heir of his estate, I'm positive Priscilla Presley is enjoying the lifestyle of the rich and famous–thanks to the King. Elvis will always be alive in our hearts, such a talented man, who I think died of a broken heart.

Karri, nebraska   January 8th, 2009 5:48 pm ET

what i want to know is this, why did Priscilla change Graceland? Why did she change the colors to blue, in the early years it was Red. It is not her home. It was Elvis Presleys home, the only person that has the right to change it is that lovely Lisa Marie......The movie Elvis and me was a joke....The house in the movie had 5 times the stairs leading to his door, the kitchen was not brown, it was blue and tile. Everything was misleading and to those that don't know any better would believe the movie....Shame on you Priscilla, just remeber your only by name, Lisa is the only true PRESLEY .....

L. Woods   January 8th, 2009 6:11 pm ET

Priscilla Presley is old news, when will his ex-wife stop riding those famous coattails!

Diana Prihoda   January 8th, 2009 6:32 pm ET

I have 14 photos 3 1/2 x 5" of Elvis, Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley. I found these in my sister's belongins while clearing out her belongings after she died. These are original photos developed in April 1978 and there are no negatives. They appear to be authentic and not professionals proofs. I would like to turn these prints over to Priscilla but have not had any idea on how to go about this. The pictures are beautiful and show so much love. Can you help me? I'm not seeking any compensation for this find. I believe Priscilla would like to have them.

Peter   January 8th, 2009 6:52 pm ET

Sorry to say..Priscilla has nothing to say about the Elvis...they were
divirced before Elvis died! It's sad that now Priscilla hell of son takes credit for Elvis.

Susan Fitzpatrick   January 8th, 2009 7:14 pm ET

What is the name of the song that played at the end of Elvis' concerts? It is an instramenta that he would walk off the stage while it played.. I also heard it at the beginning of some of the concerts.

Thank you!

How wonderful to salute the King, I wonder, Priscilla, do you ever regret not staying together with Elvis ??? Do you think he'd still be alive if you and He were still together ?
Your entire family seems to get the brunt of Horrible tabloid press, I would like to appauld your daughter Lias Marie, on taking a stand, in recent days.

Your are a wonderful person, and I respect you and your family, hopefully, by keeping Elvis information available to the public, the "Papparazzi will leave your family alone".

All the Best in the New Year to both You and to you as well Larry,
Sincerely Ed Cavanagh

My grandmother actually attended one of his concerts in the late 50's, when I go to her house she has a bunch of movies of him and when was young I wanted to be him. I'm not a big fan of his music but I like his style.

Jon Romanovich   January 8th, 2009 8:39 pm ET

I know the upstairs at Graceland was a private place during Elvis' life. Are there any plans to build a model of the upstairs to scale accross the street or at a diiferent part on Graceland grounds?

Brian Mathis   January 8th, 2009 8:59 pm ET

Congratulations on Lisa;s twins!!! Are you still part of an orginization in which you fulfilled people's last reQuest with a terminal illness?I beleive it was called Green peace or something that sounds similar to that name. If still active is there a website or contact infomation?also, If Elvis is the King of rock n roll shouldn't Priscilla be the Queen?!

martina p   January 8th, 2009 9:06 pm ET

With so many important things emotionally and physically going on in the world today (not saying a loss of a child is nothing) however come on "Elvis" please find something else to talk about. Tell me when the average person is going to get a bailout from the high interest rates on mortgage loans.

Alan Taylor   January 8th, 2009 9:07 pm ET

Even though I am only 29 and have never "lived" in Elvis' presence, he was still a huge musical influence on me. What do you think elvis would've thought of todays music? and who would've he been a fan of today?

lisa greene   January 8th, 2009 9:07 pm ET

Elvis was truly the most beaufitul, thoughtful and graceful man ever.

We miss him everyday. The most exciting time on tv when I was a little girl was watching Aloha from Hawaii in 1973.

Did Lisa Marie watch it on TV like the rest of America in 1973?

carol barnett   January 8th, 2009 9:09 pm ET

I grew up with Elvis and still have my "I like Elvis button" and pictures, records.

Still at my age of 64 – Elvis still makes me smile -he will never be forgotten – no one can ever come close to his voice or style!

I just want to say how much I love Elvis. He was and is and always will be the greatest entertainer to me. Besides that he had a heart of gold. He was generous to a fault. He was such a special person and talent. I think its wonderful how after all these years he is not forgotten. He is still so loved and adored. I had the pleasure of visiting Graceland a few years ago and its something I will cherish forever. You were one of a kind Elvis! There will never be another! Happy Birthday Baby! Love you always.

Connie G.   January 8th, 2009 9:29 pm ET

Hi Larry amd Priscilla,
Thank you for this opportunity. Many years ago, I had a friend, the Late Ann Case, who was my neighbor in Costa Mesa, CA. Whom Elvis called because of a friend named Wanda. On Jan. 6, 1977 because of a picture and letter I had Wanda to include in Christmas packages. I had the blessed chances to speak with him at Ann's house. But. on that fateful day, he called me at the number in the letter I sent. The picture I sent is still with me, and is 50 years old. My sisters boyfriend took it when he was in the Army with Elvis. It is so awesome that you can talk like this about and share memories.

I would like to hear from you at least one time.

God Bless you all,
Connie G.

Priscilla, you are still so beautiful and so lucky to have been Elvis' choice of true love!
I've never been able to visit Graceland, but I have often wondered if it was a relief for you to leave it all behind when you did in the past, and is it difficult for you to present these shows now after all this time?
Congratulations to Lisa Marie and her husband on the twins. Does any of her kids look anything like Elvis?

Edie Gonzalez   January 8th, 2009 9:31 pm ET

Elvis, I love you.

I might only be 25 but I've honestly been in love with you since I was seven years old and your movies would come on tv. I couldn't believe how handsome you were and wanted my husband to look just like you. As I got older I discovered your music and fell in love all over again. You'll always be in my heart, forever and always.

Happy Birthday and thank you!

My girlfriend named her daughter after the Lisa Marie airplane when she was pregnant with her in 1985. she was watching a special on tv about Graceland. and. Why is Larry wearing black? It pales him right out, like it does most people. thankyou. RUpert

how do i send the birthday card to elvis as talked about on larry king?

Matthew Hurt   January 8th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

I love Elvis. Grew up listening to his music and was watching a movie back in the 80's on him and his life. I thought it was actually him and cried when I seen him die. LOL I didn't know he died way before I was born hehehe. So my dad said he would by me a TV if I stopped crying and my mom had to explain to me about the real Elvis. He is still missed even though I wasn't born when he was alive, but he had a major impact with his music.

cathy jollie   January 8th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

Elvis was the greatest entertainer of all time. Such a kind, generous man
and so good looking. He will never be replaced. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELVIS!!!! I LOVE YOU.

Karen   January 8th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

I first saw Elvis on the Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey Show. I was in the fifth grade. When I went to school on Monday everyone was talking about this singer, but his name was so strage no one could recall who he was. If Martians had landed on earth that day , the impact would have not been as great as seeing Elvis for the first time.

I have loved him ever since and have visited Graceland many times, even though it is a 10-hour drive. What is Elvis' attraction all these years? It can't be explained. Elvis is my heart string, and at Graceland I find peace.

Carol Ann Chaplin   January 8th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

I grew up as a fan of Elvis even though I was only 1 year old when he died. It was because I grew up with his music. I also grew up watching Priscilla on Dallas and have all the DVDs. My question for Priscilla – Is she amazed by how far reaching Elvis' fan base is?

Thank You,
Carol Ann Chaplin

Eileen   January 8th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

It is so nice to see that after all these years Elvis still lives on! I personally love the way he put his heart and soul into singing gospel music! He will always be The King and noone will ever replace him!! Happy Birthday Elvis!!!

Karen   January 8th, 2009 9:33 pm ET

A funny story: My family was never big on "spankings"; however, the worse spanking (and they were few) I ever got was because I broke one of my Mother's (God rest her soul) Elvis Presley 45s. So, I'll always have a special place in my heart for Elvis. I also still have my Mom's Elvis collectionl

Thank you Priscilla for keeping Elvis' alive for all of us..

Loving the special – I still get chills every time I hear Elvis sing – no one has ever matched – nor can they match the magic he created. I never got to see him in person, but always dreamed of it. I got to visit Graceland for the 1st time in 1995 – then again 3 years ago – hope to return again! My oldest grandchild – Hailee – was born 13 years ago today! Happy Birthday Elvis & Hailee!!!!!!!!!!!!! Priscilla, thanks for keeping Elvis' memory alive.

I had a dream about Elvis 2 nights ago. He was very very thin and very happy. We laughed alot it was a very happy feeling. You know how you wake yourself up laughing. Elvis also had a space between his eye tooth. I had no clue it was his birthday and i didnt see anything about him on tv, until now. Best dream i ever had.

I have a question. I had a chance to meet Elvis when he was filming

a movie out here in Arizona back in the 70's. It was call " Charro ".

He was so nice to us and even let me take a polorid photo of him

self. When he looked at it, he even commented with a smile,

( Not Bad ). It was such a great experience. He had a beard and

the western cowboy outfit on, and really didin't look like his normal

self. My question is, how could I find out an estimate as to the

value of his photo with his signature on the back.

Gary Taylor   January 8th, 2009 9:36 pm ET

Hi Larry and Pricilla.Pricilla, you always look so pretty...My question is;did Elvis ever have instruments set up in his home such as drums,etc?..I once had a chance to go & work on his three wheelers and I wanted to show my stuff on the drums.I was playing in Memphis bands at the time and my dreams fell apart when he got sick.I was working across from the Baptist hospital at that time and played at night. All I know was, that someone told me something was going on and not to go.I think Elvis shot out his TV at that time....Thanks...Lve & Peace...Gary...Marion Arkansas

J. Billman   January 8th, 2009 9:37 pm ET

Congrats! to the family and Pricilla on the new twin grandbabies!
;and To Elvis's birthday! I do have one question here..........It says at top here that it's 70th Anniv of Graceland? I thought it was 50th?;hmm. thanks! I'm 58 and recall when I first heard him when Iwas 6 /7 yrs of age! ;on radio!

Susan Bennett   January 8th, 2009 9:37 pm ET

Today I shared my love for Elvis with my co workers. I had never before been willing to share the fact that I buy a birthday cake for Elvis and celebrate in my own personal way.
I was 3 when he died and I have no idea where the love for his music and person came from, but I am thankful that I have the feelings and appreciation for the man that he was and the legacy he left for generations to come.
The greatest gift I can give back to Elvis for all he's given to the world, is to continue to love him, listen to him, watch his movies and learn more about the man behind the music...I share all of this with my 2 boys, 14 and 9.
The KING lives in my heart.

Linda A. Purdy   January 8th, 2009 9:37 pm ET

Hello Priscilla – Thank You for all you have done keeping Elvis's memory very much alive. I sure do miss him, and his wonderful voice. I always loved Elvis, I got to Nashville this past August but did not make it to Graceland, I am planning another trip to Nashville and really wants to make it to Graceland this time, I am from a little community in Newfoundland/Labrador Canada, called Makkovik there is only 400 people here, very very small, hope someone can help me get there.

Ever since Elvis Aaron Presley was around, I lived at the Laconia State School and Training Center (a state institution for people with mental retardation) in Laconia, New Hampshire. At Laconia State School, I watched Elvis Presley on a black-and-white television set inside Floyd Building. Elvis performed well on television while I was at the institution.

Victor   January 8th, 2009 9:40 pm ET

Larry asked Pricsilla what it was about Elvis> I can say in one word. Electricity!!!! I saw Elvis several times when he was at tThe International in Las Vegas and I lived in the california deser. We drove to Las Vegas whenever Elvis was there and to this date, when i see films of his appearances, I STILL get hat electricity thru my body. There has NEVER been and there will NEVER be another performer like him. PERIOD !!!!!

God Bless.

Cheryl   January 8th, 2009 9:41 pm ET

Great to see the Presleys still celebrating the life of Elvis. What a one of a kind man and performer he was. No one will ever match the talent this man had. I still love his music to this day and will always love him. Keep his memory alive !!! Happy 74th Birthday today Elvis. You stll live on in our hearts!!!!

Elvis as presented to all of us was such a giver, he gave so much to the world and each of us as individuals. I love how his memory can stay with us in our hearts and minds forever. When Elvis passed away I was only eight (8) years old, I will never forget that day. I remember everything about that day and have had such heartfelt emotions for Priscilla and Lisa Marie, and I was only eight ( 8) years old that August and it has continued now through the years and I am 40 years old. I can see why that watch meant the world to him, it meant all about what life meant to Elvis, the gift of giving to others. Priscilla and Lisa Marie and family I wish you nothing but continued happiness, and I thank Elvis and you all for the wonderful memories that I will cherish forever.

Jan Miller   January 8th, 2009 9:42 pm ET

My greatest wish was to see Elvis in person. Happy Birthday Elvis! You will live forever.

Demi Downing   January 8th, 2009 9:43 pm ET

Hi Priscilla, I've never had the honor of meeting you but I have been paying tribute to Elvis for six years.I'm eleven years old and have been to Graceland several times for Elvis week to perform at the tent and traveled all over the country to pay tribute to my hero. I hope one day to meet you and Lisa and say thank you for keeping his memorie alive for my generation and generations that follow.People are always telling Elvis would be proud of me but I'm proud of Elvis. And as Elvis would always say until we meet again may God bless you as he has blessed me. it has been a wonderful experince to even hear some of Mr.Presleys music , but when you get to go to his home and relive his life it just makes you become a better person at least I FELT THAT WAY. Myself only being six-teen has grown up with Elvis ever since I was just a baby but it has inspired my own since of style of singing and music . so every night I thank God that just a glimpse of this wonderful man has come into my life and some times I even thank him and all of a sudden I fell like I've been touched by certain force and I love it.
So I would like to wish my mentor and king of rock and roll the best happy birthday ever along with his family.

My brothers and sister grew up listening to Elvis. Love his music and movies. The characters he played in FlamingStar and Love Me Tender were so different fromhis other films. What type of films did he prefer to make? Did he write music for other?
Long live the memory of the King of Rock & Roll Elvis!

I seen Elvis 3 times and each time was greater than the time before. I hope one day to make it to Graceland. I remember the day he died, I just couldn't believe it, "The King is Dead" but not really, he will always be the "King of Rock & Roll". Priscilla, You look absolutely gorgeous and thanks for sharing your memories with us.

to win a trip to Graceland and meet the Presley family.I don't know
what type of contest as in what the fans would have to do in order to
win,but we sure would LOVE it.

Why do we always hear from Priscella. She is the one who left him nad tore his heart our. Why isn;t Lisa Marie or even Linda Evans telling us stories or some of his old buddies? Why Priscella- I feel like she is the reason he is gone. She took his daughter the most important thing in his life .. then he went down hill.. .God Bless him...

elaine holgate   January 8th, 2009 9:51 pm ET

My first record player was given to me when I turned 10 yrs. old. Then I screamed when my Dad added me a present to go with it..
It was an Elvis record called ' You ain't nothin but a Hound Dog' . .
I kept screaming with happiness. That is what Elvis's voice did to me.
I have just watched Priscilla on Larry King Live and she still looks beautiful. It brings back memories of youth and Elvis.
We all remember where we were in life when Elvis married Priscilla
and when it all ended at his death.
I always wanted them to get back together. .now when I see Priscilla in
the pink mansion to-night . .it is obvious that she still is in love with him.
As she talks about him . .it is like he is still with her.
Thank you for leting us inside Elvis's private home.
I love the new horses..they appear very happy now.
sincere wishes from a long time Elvis fan

Actually Graceland was decorated in blue for the majority of the time Elvis owned it....not red! It was decorated in red in the 70's, Priscilla changed it back to the way it was... so do your research before you talk bad about her!
I loved the show tonight and Priscilla did an amazing job!

cheril   January 8th, 2009 9:52 pm ET

i think we need to see more of priscilla and lisa maria. and more of elvis and graceland on tv. need more shows about him. elvis is a great singer and etc. i do think priscilla and elvis made a mistake in getting a divorce. they both still loved each other. and i do believe priscilla still love him too and i thank her for her showing graceland and keeping his memory alive.

I would also like to add that i believe it was in 1969 that I saw him live at the Oakland Coliseum in California I still remeber that as if it was yesterday.I love the man One of my wishes before I leave this wonderful world is to go to the Mansion and spend all day even if I go through it 100 times.

There is no stronger voice in the music industry than Elvis's. I believe that if he were still living, his voice would of only become better with age. I have M.S. and my dream is to go to Graceland while I can still walk as well as I can. There will be no one as influential as Elvis. Maybe it was the time, but it and he was meant to be.

Karen   January 8th, 2009 9:55 pm ET

Hi, Larry & Priscilla!

Thank you so much Priscilla for all that you do to keep Elvis' memory alive. I am a 66 year old senior lady who has been an Elvis fan from day one. To me he was "The King", still is "The King" and will always be "The King". I can't tell you how much I miss him. He was such a gentle, man with a big heart and great, great talent. I have all his records and CD's and play them all the time. There is no one on this earth like Elvis. Happy 74th Birthday, Elvis! Wish you were still here.

Sandy   January 8th, 2009 9:56 pm ET

Saw Elvis in concert on May 27, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio when I was 11 years old and my sister was 14. Remember it like it was yesterday. We became his fans at the beginning of his career and are still his fans today. Only Elvis "Dared to Rock!" God has him in his keeping, We have him in our hearts.

Just wanted to say I have been a fan of Elvis Presley since the 50's and still love his music, especially his enthuasiam when singing gospel music. When it is my time to go, his version of "How Great Thou Art" will be played at my funeral. My wife and I are hoping to take our first trip to Graceland this summer. We have wanted to see Graceland for many years. Thanks for helping to keep his memories alive. And by the way, you still look great!

Melissa Toney   January 8th, 2009 10:09 pm ET

Happy Birthday Elvis!!!!!!!!!!!! You are so missed, but your memory and your music will live on forever....

Margaret McCallum   January 8th, 2009 10:09 pm ET

Growing up and knowing that Elvis and I shared the same birth date was exciting. Over the years, I wrote Elvis c/o the Colonel on two occasions without reply. At age 60 my husband drove us to graceland and were able to visit graceland for three hours thanks to a very helpful hostess. She informed us that had I wrote Elvis directly, I would have received a response from him. While in Memhis we were able to buy a pictured Elvis's drivers license that I carry next to mine, special T shirts with his head shot and other trivia. We toured everything that was available. We have most of his records, tapes and battery musical statues put out by Carlton cards over several years. I will never forget the beautiful and wonderful person Elvis was and the pleasures he left to us. Margaret McCallum Saskatoon,Sask. Canada

Hi Priscilla,
Even though my Elvis Fan Club closed several years ago, I am still his #1 fan and I treasure my memories of my very first visit to Graceland for our anniversary trip, Jan 20, 1996. After that trip I started my own fan club and I still have the congratulation letter you sent to me.

I have not visited for several years. It's time for another "Elvis fix."
Thanks for keeping Elvis' memory alive for future generations Congratulations on your new granddaughters.

There will never be another Elvis Presley, the greatest entertainer of all time.

Warm wishes,

Debra Smith

Laura Coleman   January 8th, 2009 10:15 pm ET

Amen to Candace. I found the info on the watch but can't find the video about the horses. The show was great. I just wish the whole hour could have been devoted to Elvis. I have been celebrating all day long-watching Elvis movies on TCM, watching the birthday celebration from Graceland, surfing Elvis websites, etc. Elvis is the greatest entertainer of all-time. Happy Birthday, Elvis!!

Carolyn Shell   January 8th, 2009 10:20 pm ET

Priscilla, you are still such a beautiful person both inside and outside. I know the love you and Elvis had for eachother is still magical. We all thank you for sharing Elvis and Graceland with us. Everytime I visit Graceland, I am so moved by the way Graceland is perserved. You are certainly to be thanked and complimented for your part in being a wonderful loving Mother, grandmother, and wife, and daughter. Please ignore any negative comments that people say to you because they are just jealous they don't have your looks and memories with Elvis. You are certainly loved. We all never get enough of seeing you at Graceland. I have the DVD...Elvis by the Presleys and have bought several for friends. Is it going to be reprinted soon? I have checked several places and it is not being printed now. Again, God Bless beautiful and sweet person.

Jean Kohler   January 8th, 2009 10:22 pm ET

I thoroughly enjoyed you and Priscilla tonight. She has such class and style. I love to hear new things about Elvis and their lives together and plan on visiting Graceland again. I was so impressed when we were there several years ago. I remember how nice the staff was when I ran out of film just as we were going into the garden and they allowed me to go back across the street, get more film, and reenter where I left off without a moments hesitation. The Inspiration Garden was something I will never forget – everyone talking to each other until you get to the entrance and then it was absolute silence and reverence. Love and best wishes to all!

I have been a fan ever since Elvis started recording. I even married my first husband "Vernon" I thought he looked like Elvis.
Priscilla is still beautiful. Thanks, to you Larry and her for keeping him alive for his fans. My question: What was the date of Lisa Marie's twins birth? What she she name them?
Thank you,

I was born and grew up in Memphis, TN at St. Peter's Orphanage on Popular Street (which is no longer there). Anyway, if I remember right (I am now 54 years old), Elvis Presley donated funds to the Orphanage for large burlap bags filled with toys for EACH child (age appropriate) to make sure that we all got Christmas from Santa. I did not know him but you can imagine the impression over the years it left. The saddest birthday I had was when he was buried on my birthday August 18,1977. I did not understand it at the time but it just tug really hard at me inside. The happiest day I ever had was on January 8, 1972 when I married my late soulmate, which I now know was also Elvis' birthday. We would have been married 37 years today. I have always felt implications that it was meant for me to be connected (even if distant) in this life to Elvis Presley in some way. Call it coincidence, but there are too many unexplained "connections". He was a beautiful man inside and out that people don't even realize all that he did for Memphis and the children at St. Peter's. He will always be special because he gave unconditionally to make sure that we had Christmas like the other children. Christmas in the 50's and 60's was the ultimate day for children. Thank you for showcasing such a special person that gave so much to this world unconditionally. Priscilla is right when she said that he was such a sensitive and caring person. There are very few people that are willing to do that anymore because they are taken advantage of instead of being appreciated.

I have been a fan of Elvis since the age of 9. My husband who is in a

together and we really needed that cry. Thanks to Priscilla and Lisa

easy to do this year after year but it means so much to all of Elvis's
fans. God bless all the Presleys and the two new additions to the

Hello Larry & Priscilla!

I want to thank you so much Larry for honoring & celebrating Elvis each year – I always look forward to your reports on Elvis Week & Elvis' Birthday Celebration. They are very honorably and tastefully done, and that says alot when so many other media outlets tend to exploit.

Elvis was a blessing to us all, a great gift from God. I shudder to think how different my life would be without Elvis. So many of my closest friends and extended family have come into my life because of our 'Love For Elvis'.

I am the President of the Canadian Chapter of the Love For Elvis Fan Club, and host countless events each year to raise money for Charity in Elvis' name. His humble and generous heart is, I believe, the greatest legacy he has left us, and it is an honor and privledge to help in any way I can to carry on that legacy of love he so steadfastly gave while we were blessed with his presence here on earth.

Elvis – we love you: Today, Tomorrow and Forever! 🙂

I'm so blessed by the memories of Elvis! I'm so glad you [Pricilla] and
Lisa are keeping his memory alive. There is such an anointing from
God on his songs, and you can feel it. His good charactristics will
always be there for us to strive for, his generosity, humbleness, and
just always giving of himself from his heart. I've never seen such
unselfisness of giving of wealth from anyone else. I'm sure there
were some who abused his generosity and this caused such a frustration for him. No one is perfect in this world, but Elvis sure
put an awesome standard out there for others. If I had his money, I don't think I would have been as nice as he was to others! I propably would have been more selfish! Congratulations on your twins!

Susie Roberts   January 8th, 2009 11:19 pm ET

Thank you for a great escape tonight......from all the constant talk and never-ending misery..... "stimulas Package", "Horrible economy", "wars", etc., etc., etc., What a relief to be able to think about ELVIS! If that gorgeous hunk of man doesn't get your mind off of all of the above for a much needed break...... I don't know what will.

Happy Birthday to the greatest entertainer I've ever seen! Love you very much!

Thank you Larry so very much, and thank you to Priscilla, who looked absolutely gorgeous, for everything you and Lisa do for all of us.....the Elvis fans.

ELVIS FOREVER! Love to you all!

Terry   January 8th, 2009 11:20 pm ET

Yes i was watching your show just a bit ago. I'm a long time Elvis Fan, i lived in Indianapolis and omost went to the last concert that Mr Elvis Presley performed, i was 10 years old. $20 is what stopped me seeing my idol. My parents couldn't afford the ticket for me. Then when my parents did get the money it was to late of course it was sold out. So we went over to the Airport and was able to tour the Lisa Marie Jet which today i still have those pictures. I don't even remember how many times my family and i have been thier (enjoy everytime).
but more of the reason i'm writing this message is to let you know at the start of the show i thought it was distasteful on the questions that were asked. I thought this was about "ELVIS". I understand the loss of the Travoltas. which i feel with what the show was going to be more about Mr Elvis Presley. from a fan thats alittle upset.

marilyn   January 8th, 2009 11:21 pm ET

Happy Birthday Elvis, I miss you with all my heart, you will always be my favorite singer, the most loved man within my heart. I had a chance to visit your home several times while my husband was stationed at Blytheville Air Force Base, Arkansas, back in 1986-1988, we were 68 miles from your home. We had the privilege of visiting Libertyland and riding the roller coaster. We also had the privilege of meeting a lady who would become our landlord and she knew you when you lived next to her in an apartment building where you shared the same bathroom. She also showed us letters you sent to her after you became famous. She was not surprised at the way all the women adored you, all teh women admired you, for she told us she saw that before when you were always so kind, and when you asked her to iron some of your clothes. Well we found that time in our lives to be the most interesting and we can feel your spirit every where we went from Blytheville to Memphis and now to my home state in South Dakota, where we have Elvis sitings, we have Elvis look alike contests, you will always live in my heart. You are dearly missed here on earth but we know you are loving us still with all memories. There will never be anyone like you, you will remain one of the most beautiful expensive hearted men that ever existed, your spirit lives on in my life. Rest in peace Elvis!00000000xoxxoxoxox++++++++

Hi Priscilla,

Enjoyed the show tonight but would have like to see more of the treasures other than a watch, house keys and a cancelled check. I understand that there will be a new exhibit opening up. Is there a time frame for that? By the way, we evacuated to Memphis, TN because of Hurricane Gustav. We used the opportunity to realize a life long dream and visit Graceland. I was in awe of Graceland and loved the tour. We plan to come back and visit it again. I heard that 85% of Graceland was sold to a gentleman that plans to turn it into a theme park. I hope this isn't so. Graceland needs to stay the way it is.

Memphis has the warmest, nicest and polite people. We were appreciative on how they opened up their arms to us during the hurricane. We are from New Orleans, LA

MaryBeth   January 8th, 2009 11:44 pm ET

I have loved Elvis since I was 2 years old, my mother told me that whenever I saw Elvis on T.V. I would go up and kiss Elvis and dance around and I am 43 now and I still can not sit stlill when he sings I would like to wish him a Happy Birthday, I still find it hard to understand why Cilla never talks about her son. I would also like to let Lisa Marie know how much I love her singing and hope she records another CD. My dream has always been to go to Graceland and see Elvis's home he loved so much. I would like to also say thank you to Cilla and Lisa Marie for all the hard work they do to keep Graceland going after all these years. I know how proud Elvis would be to see the kindness they show by helping the poor in Memphis by the amount they give back to his beloved town and the people who live there. May God bless your family and hold you all in the palm of his hand.
I would love to see a family picture of all including the twins I have 8 children of my own and love big family pictures.

Kaye   January 8th, 2009 11:47 pm ET

Happy Birthday Elvis! You will always be loved! But I am really tired of Priscila sounding like the wounded "widow". It is very clear that Elvis loved her more than she loved him. And yeah, you'd look good at 64 too if you could have all of the cosmetic surgery that she has had that she paid for with Elvis' money. SHe looks like the "JOKER" to me. And NO, she will never remarry, because she absolutely enjoys "using" the Presley name. Elvis had such a generous and loving heart, only to have Priscilla break it. I don't think she would of ever had the balls to leave Elvis if she didn't already have a man waiting on her. SHe has slept with every man she has come in contact with. I love Elvis, but I am sick of Priscilla. I don't expect this comment to be posted because I spoke the absolute truth.........

Chari   January 8th, 2009 11:54 pm ET

Hi Priscilla,
So many thanks, not only to YOU and Lisa Marie, but everyone that has a part in keeping Graceland alive and being so kind as to share all the wonderful memories that you've shared as a family, but also opening up the place to the public where Elvis could just be himself and where he shared his most personal moments with the gifts he treasured the most in his life, YOU, Lisa Marie, and his parents!! The remarks that I have read on this site about that some people out there don't think it's right that you take part in hosting these shows becasue you're an ex, don't understand what real "LOVE" is.Just because two people have made the choice to divorce, doesn't mean you stop loving that other person. Elvis truly loved you and vice versa and that is one thing that can never ever be destroyed. That bond was formed many years ago and will be there for eternity. What better person taking Elvis's fans into his most private and treasured places but the woman that truly loved him and shows us year after year how much she still loves him even after all these years. You ARE his widow and you knew him best, other than the wonderful woman that gave him life, you knew him in a whole different way and thank you for sharing ALL the personal things that you have chosen to share. It's truly sad that Elvis felt so compelled to push himself so hard, as not wanting to let his fans down, that he had to take pills to stay awake and then take pills to try and get some sleep and then start all over again the next day.He truly gave his life for his fans. And for loving him, you and Lisa Marie paid a huge price also.He was a very gifted human being and I am so glad that I grew up in his era. I missed a ride to go to one of his concerts when he was in Sioux Falls So. Dak by 15 min because my husband got delayed at work. I was devistated and I never got the chance to see Elvis in a live concert. He would be so proud of all of you. He would of been a wonderful Grandfather. It would have been wonderful to watch the interaction with his grandchildren.I have been, and will always be a fan of this man. You could tell Elvis's heart was as big as his name was in lights!!! He will ALWAYS be the KING of music. Thanks again for all that you and your family have given so unsellfishley so we can continue to enjoy and pay tribute to a man who gave all of us so much enjoyment of his music and just being the wonderful human being he was!! He made the world a much happier place by being here. Happy Birthday Elvis. I truly hope you are at peace. I have no doubt that heaven has some great music going on since you were taken from us. Congratulations on the new twin grandchildren Priscilla!!! What joy they will bring.
You touched my heart with the story of adopting the horses. They're beautiful!!! God bless you and your family and I hope 2009 brings you all nothing but happiness, love and peace! Thanks for your time... Sincerely, Chari

Teresa   January 8th, 2009 11:55 pm ET

Happy Birthday Elvis!
I can remember being a small child and crying because I wanted to stay up and watch Elvis ! I love all the information I can get on his life – I cry every time because I feel his pain. I have always believed that Elvis had NO ONE that loved him enough EXCEPT Lisa Marie and she was so young – she didn’t know what to do. Everyone around Elvis cashed in on HIM – had ONE person loved him more than they loved his money – he would be here today. I was so happy to hear Lisa say – she has All her memories of her father and she remembers that special love that they shared. He would be so proud! I am also glad that the family still enjoys Graceland for the holidays – what a great family tradition 

Hellon Garner   January 9th, 2009 12:12 am ET

Hello Larry and Priscilla,

Thanks for inviting Priscilla to be on your show tonight. I am a 66 yr old female and have been an Elvis fan since I was in my teens when I first heard him on the radio. One of my biggest regrets was I never had the opportunity to see any of his performances in person. I have seen most of his movies and over the years I have acquired a majority of his records, Thanks so much for all you and Lisa Marie do to preserve Graceland for the fans. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to visit Graceland once back in the mid-80s and look forward to returning again some day. ELVIS WAS IN A CLASS BY HIMSELF AND WILL AWAYS BE THE "KING OF ROCK 'n' "ROLL".

Dian Landry   January 9th, 2009 12:12 am ET

I think you should check your spelling on your headlines. The possessive plural of Elvis should be Elvis' 74th Birthday. There should not be a double s........

Eladio Villanueva   January 9th, 2009 12:21 am ET

Knowing that drug use contributed to Elvis' death. What would Ms. Presley say to young people today and has she been actively involved in public awareness in this area

Eladio Villanueva   January 9th, 2009 12:22 am ET

What would Priscilla ever imagine happening to Graceland in later years as the later generations know less and less about Elvis

SHIRLEY   January 9th, 2009 12:24 am ET

please let me know if u got my messages.....wish we could have sourenign of his...shirley

Eladio Villanueva   January 9th, 2009 12:25 am ET

What does priscilla miss most about the years when Elvis was alive beside Elvis himself and if He were alive today what efforts does she believe Elvis would be involved with?

Aaron Sumner   January 9th, 2009 12:26 am ET

Hi to Cilla, I am proud to have the name Aaron as I think it belongs ot Elvis, I wish I could have seen Elvis in concert as i remember seeing his shows on tv when i was young as i am now 40 about the same age as Lisa. I have been to Graceland 3 times and it seems to change everytime... I would like to know though, the TV room when I first visited in about 88 or 89 seemed to be different than it is now, it was not the bright colors as it is now, am I wrong about this, was it re-done? Love Elvis and everything the family does to keep it alive, I wish i could be apart of it...

Judy   January 9th, 2009 12:26 am ET

I am happy that Elvis's birthday is still celebrated as he was the greatest. However, I do not think that Priscilla should be the host. She divorced Elvis and therefore had left his life. It is Lisa Marie who should be handling all of the advertising. Also, why does Priscilla still insist on going by the name of Presley? They were divorced and she remarried and had another child. Why does she not go by the name of her second husband?? She is not the widow of Elvis either. I wish that someone would tell her that and leave Lisa Marie to keep her father's memory alive in our hearts. I grew up listening to Elvis.
Montreal, Canada.

Gen Foster   January 9th, 2009 12:27 am ET

I enjoyed your show tonight. I have never been to Graceland. My husband's family lived in Jackson> That is as close as I ever got.

Tina Murphy   January 9th, 2009 12:27 am ET

I can remember to this day where I was and what I was doing when I heard that Elvis had died. I was only 16 at the time, but I remember my mother taking me and my sisters to the drive-in movie to see all of his movies. I've loved Elvis since I was very young....And I love him still. There will never be another Elvis Presley!! Happy Birthday to the King!!!

Linda   January 9th, 2009 12:28 am ET

How long were they married? What was he REALLY like?

Phoebe   January 9th, 2009 12:29 am ET

Happy 74th Birthday to the King of Music

carol   January 9th, 2009 12:30 am ET

I loved Elvis to, i got to see him twice in concert, once in 74 then again in 76. all ican say, is that there will never be another person that could even come close to Elvis. i watch him just about evey night on u-tube. when im down i watch him, and he makes me happy, just to watch him. i feel like you do Precilla, he had so much more to give to us, he was unstoppable. He did belong to all of us, i can understand how difficault it must have been to be married to someone with that magnatude. I thank god that you had Lisa, and she had a family, those are Elvises grandchildred, he would have been so proud. keep up the good work with graceland, i was there about 10 years ago, i loved being there, and will go there again someday. happy birthday elvis, and god bless the presley family.

Tina Murphy   January 9th, 2009 12:32 am ET

I forgot to add that I went to Graceland in 2007, and it was my dream vacation. That was the place I said I wanted to go if I could ever choose a place to visit. You could just feel him in the place, and looking at his actual possesions, well it is very powerful and hard to describe. I love Elvis!!

Rick Dunham   January 9th, 2009 12:32 am ET

Happy Birthday Elvis!!! You look great Priscilla!!! enjoyed the program Larry,,, Congratulations on the Twins Priscilla! We will never forget Elvis, he was the best.

Sue from Wisconsin   January 9th, 2009 12:33 am ET

What did Elvis enjoy doing on his time off from concerts and movies?
Also why did he have this "thing" about having sex with someone that had a baby?

Mary Miebach   January 9th, 2009 12:34 am ET

Great Show Larry
Elvis lives on through his music.
We here celebrate his birthday with banana birthday cake !
We are enjoying your show so much – thank you for ' keeping the sweet memories' of Elvis going on. Priscilla looks fantastic !!

Lisa Marie P.   January 9th, 2009 12:34 am ET

Although I am only 28 years old, I am an Elvis fan for life! I love him to this day and have been blessed to have visited Graceland last year. At the end of the tour I cried like a baby, just as I have done tonight. I often wonder, what kind of impact would he have had on our society today? What wonderful things could he have done, could he have accomplished had he continued in life? Just want the world to know, I love you Elvis, and Happy Birthday!

Wanda   January 9th, 2009 12:34 am ET

Thanks Larry & Pricilla for letting see a part of Elvis's life. My sister & I drove to Graceland last June, and stayed across the street at the Heartbreak Hotel. It really was a great experience, seeing pictures of Elvis in the Army, in Germany was really touching. We want to go back to walk more slowly through the mansion, and would Pricilla think about turning the house in Palm Springs into a tour experience. I live in Riverside, Ca and just wish I'd have made the trip to Vegas when Elvis was there. Are Pricilla's parents still living, and how many brothers & sister's does Pricilla have? Wonderful evening, we just had an earthquake in Calif and was glad I taped Larry's show tonight. Thanks again. Vote-M-Out

Jean Hayes   January 9th, 2009 12:36 am ET

First of all I want to thank you for remembering Elvis' birthday, there has been very little on TV tonight about it, and Elvis needs to be remembered for all he's done for this country.
Second, I want to thank you and Priscilla for showing those of us who have never and may never get to see Graceland, just a peek inside the home that Elvis loved so much.
Again, thank you,

Happy Birthday Elvis, we love you and will never forget you.

Oprah ought to be ashamed of herself getting on TV and whining about her weight gain. With her money and all the people surround her to help her with this problem. When there are people who truly are unable to be able to afford a personal trainer, spiritual advisor and whatever else she has to have. They can't lose the weight and really need help these are the ones she ought to look for and help with her money I don't feel sorry for her at all.

carolyn   January 9th, 2009 12:52 am ET

Elvis will alway be the king of rock and roll. Iwish i could have seen in person.i still watch all his movies when they are on tv.I wish he was still with us.

Wanda   January 9th, 2009 12:53 am ET

Yes, Karen I was about 14 when our cousin called our house, and said turn on the Jimmy & Tommy Dorsey program, there is a man singing on their show who is just wonderful. Then sadly in Aug 1977 I was taking our son to school to sign him up for his highschool classes, it was raining cats and dogs in Riverside, Ca. and on the radio the reporter said Elvis Presley died in Memphis this morning, and I had to pull the car over to a parking lot, I was crying so hard. I heard from my brother last summer, (30 yrs ago) he & his wife and kids were coming back home from camping and they heard on the radio Elvis had died. My sister-in-law just broke down crying. I think everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing when President Kennedy was shot and the day Elvis died. He was still so young, who'd have thought.

Kathy (Warren) Arnold   January 9th, 2009 1:06 am ET

Back in 1973 or 1974 at the Monovale house I gave Lisa Marie a white BIBLE. I was wondering if by chance it was still around? When I gave it to her I was only fourteen years old.

Joan Basney   January 9th, 2009 1:09 am ET

That is great for the family to keep Elvis alive. It shows the most love for him and I'm sure that this is what he would have wanted. His daughter is just a picture of Elvis, because she looks so much like him and appears to have ways like Elvis had. Elvis was great and left behind him a great family, as well.

Barbara Elder   January 9th, 2009 1:09 am ET

Priscella & Larry...A truly heartwarming and wonderful tribute & rememberance to the greatest entertainment legend of my time. I will soon be 70 so I grew up screaming with all the other teenage girls of his early years...and I never outgrew my love for him or his incredible voice. God Bless you both and Congratulations to you Priscella and also to beautiful Lisa Marie on the birth of her twin girls!! I enjoy every minute of all t.v. specials relating to his life. I saw him in person at the MGM Grand and then much later, just a year or so prior to his death in Denver. His voice was truly a gift from God and I always say that noone could or will ever be able to sing gospel like Elvis. Thank you for keeping his memory alive and also keeping Graceland open to his fans!! You are doing an incredible job!!

Thanks again!!

Mary Miebach   January 9th, 2009 1:30 am ET

Hi Larry
Thank you for remembering Elvis today , and making many Elvis fans happy !!!!!!!!!
Elvis fans, like Nacy & Tony here in the Ottawa Valley.
Nancy & Tony's passion is ELVIS. They are a wonderful couple who keep the memory of Elvis through educating every one they know by singing Elvis songs, watching Elvis movies, and are the 'go to' people who can answer any question about Elvis songs & suits & sweets !
Celebrating every special ' Elvis date ' throughout the year with songs, food and wonderful conversation about the KING.
Sure wish Nancy could have met Elvis, because she is the greatest #1 Elvis fan here in Canada's Capital, Ottawa

Charlene   January 9th, 2009 1:36 am ET

Have and will LOVE you and your music forever.....LONG LIVE Elvis!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where was the very first place that elvis performed for an audience??

Jane Russell   January 9th, 2009 3:22 am ET

Thank you for your candid, informative, and interestihg program on the King of rock and roll !!! Your program is always a "must" for me and everyone I know, but your interviews with Priscilla have always been the greatist of all. Again, thanks for the trip to Graceland on Elvis' 74th birthday !!!

Joyce   January 9th, 2009 4:15 am ET

I came to leave a comment, and I got caught up in all the memorbilia. How awesome this website is! Elvis was and still is an Icon of music history. It's admirable that Priscilla and Lisa Marie are preserving it's history. I hope to be there one day for a tour. I saw Elvis in Fresno, CA back in 1973. Wow, we all thought how wonderful that he would come to some unknown town and perform. Of course he sold out the house. At least I can say I have been to one of his concerts.

Thanks again for all managing all the upkeep and for making Graceland a historical site.

John Key   January 9th, 2009 5:02 am ET

I recall coming from Dallas and hearing on the CB radio that Elvis was dead.

Sandy Keller   January 9th, 2009 7:21 am ET

I watched CNN with Priscilla Presley and I found the show so very interesting, as the history of Elvis goes back to the era I grew up in.
I read her book Elvis and Me, and it opened the real life of what evolved around them.
There is one thing she spoke of last night on the rescue horse Max, that he came from Maine, I grew up in Maine and have property on the coast up there, I would like to know just where did Max come from in Maine, I hope you could get this e-mail to Priscilla, I would appreciate it.
As usual Priscilla is a remarkable person and has many talents...
Thank you.

Annie   January 9th, 2009 10:05 am ET

Where did the watch that was shown last night come from for Elvis?

Amanda brown   January 9th, 2009 10:23 am ET

im 21 years old and i love elvis my mom got me into listening to him. i watched larry king last night and i thought that graceland was amazing. keep up the good work priscilla. happy birthday Elvis

Donna Baker   January 9th, 2009 10:50 am ET

I watched Elvis's b-day celebration lastnight. What in the world did Priscilla do to her lips? Her whole mouth looked awful, and I also noticed that when she would smile or laugh, she either lowered her head or covered it with her hand. I thought she was always very pretty, but if she had some cosmetic surgery done to her lips or mouth, she oughta get her money back.

Really love your show, Larry.

Aberdeen, MD

Karen   January 9th, 2009 10:57 am ET

Larry said that we would be able to view footage of the rescue horses. Does anyone know where we can find that?

Jacque   January 9th, 2009 12:22 pm ET

Priscilla is honoring Elvis's life and memory. She is a widow whether she was married to him or not. I believe she should be commended to how she continue's to honestly honor him. She has kept her word and she is sticking to it.

Crystal   January 9th, 2009 1:53 pm ET

Thank you so much Priscilla for continuing to honor a truly talented person. I am so excited to visit Graceland in August and maybe one day I will be able to bring my children when they are older, they are age 3, 5, 6 1/2 and they all listen to Elvis with me and watch his movies! The King wills always be alive! Happy Birthday Elvis!!!

Elvis is alive in my heart and I love him so happy birthday

Craig Grandville   January 9th, 2009 2:55 pm ET

Elvis was and is simply the greatest star who ever lived. When he did a song it came straight from his heart and soul. Unlike many today where it’s all about their EGO… He understood and experienced hard times. Elvis knew and felt deep pain, and never forgot where he came from.. Today everything is choreographed and performers- for the most part, are detached from their audience. With Elvis it was always a shared experience and we could identify with him because he was so real in his expressions mannerisms and emotions. Elvis is the King and these are some of the reasons America, the world his millions of dedicated and devoted fans still pay homage to him almost 32 years after his passing. Craig Grandville MSW MSED…

Paula   January 9th, 2009 3:31 pm ET

Priscilla, you are so amazing. I think that you and Lisa are doing a great job with the memory of Elvis and with Graceland. I got to visit in July 2004. It was a moving experience. I've read your book "Elvis and Me" since then and recently "Me and a Guy Named Elvis" by Mr. Schilling AND more recently "The Gospel Side of Elvis" by Mr. Moscheo. My heart goes out to your family and close friends because as I understand it, you had a special person to share your lives with–not "The King of Rock and Roll" but the man. Someday, I would like to visit Graceland again and someday I would like to meet you. I hope that God will continue to bless your family. Sincerely, Paula

Reva Null   January 9th, 2009 8:24 pm ET

Hi Larry, my question is. Has Priscilla Presley ever remarried. She still has the Presley name. I am sure that is for business . My Sister say's she has been married two or three times, and I say she is wrong, who is right?I know she had a son,but you never see or hear about him.Can you tell me about him. I went to Humes High School with Elvis and lived around the corner from him .We were not close friends. I was a year ahead of him in school.I saw him all the time in school and in the neighborhood.I have followed his life and all his music. He was truly and still is the best and I loved him. I listen to his music all the time and cry. It is hard to belive he left us so young.
I hope to hear from you soon and answer to my question's
Thank You Reva Null
